I used Dave’s for a downtown catered box lunches for a business meeting. Steve was wonderful to work with and replied promptly and was very helpful. The food arrived perfect, and was a great assortment of salads, wraps, and sandwiches, complete with drinks. I was very pleased, and the attendees said they were the best boxed lunches ever. I thought the gummies were a cute touch, and the fruit cups were posh and fresh. Thank you! :)!

Unfortunately I have only ate at Dave’s for breakfast and have never been disappointed! There prices are amazingly affordable and their portions are large. I find that this is my go to spot when I want a filling hot meal especially on a cold day. The staff are alway nice and the food comes fast.

I've been going to Dave's Downtown off and on for the past 4yrs now and I have zero complaints. The food is great each time; quality and quantity is well worth the money. The dining area is always clean and tidy, and it makes it 10x better that the staff are very friendly. Thursday's french toast is my favorite!

Cannot say enough about how great this place is! I went with a group of six during a huge lunch rush, but still got my food in less than 10 minutes. Everyone raved about how good their food was- burgers, chicken sandwiches, reubens, etc.The coleslaw was the best I have had in my life!

A great place to grab breakfast or lunch. No table service for breakfast. You order from the cashier and wait for your number to be called. I got Dave's Breakfast Special which is 2 eggs, hash browns, meat (I got a sausage Patty), toast and coffee. In July 2018 it was $8.00! There were plenty if tables because about half the people got their food to go. Nothing fancy but good food at a good price.

The turkey dinner special on Thursdays is very GOOD. Go early if you want it cause it runs out fast. Another good item is the chicken breast burger with onion rings. It's very busy and crowded during lunchtime, especially around Noon.

I love the variety and quality of the food at Dave's. Whatever you choose, it is made fresh and is always delicious. I have the chicken ranch wrap and it was very good. While we took it to go, the space was very clean and tables were distanced. The employees were efficient and nice.

A solid breakfast spot. You order at the counter and get your food in a cardboard box. Coffee is good. Omelet was good but it looked a little sad. Nice quick stop

Decent veggie burger, solid fries. The staff are really friendly, I'm just not super into their veggie burger enough to visit more often than once every couple of months. If you eat meat, that stuff seems good so definitely check them out of you're in the area.

Fantastic food and fast service. I've had a lot of the menu items here and it's all been delicious. All the staff has been upbeat and really friendly! The lines can be long at times but that's the problem of severing great food. I would suggest going early to get ahead of the crowd or have a late lunch after the crowd.

The staff are always really friendly and a lot of them have been working there for years. The food is excellent. I've eaten breakfast there many times and really like the bacon, egg and cheese on an english muffin. For lunch they have one of the best burgers downtown and excellent wraps as well. They also have a pretty complete salad bar. A while back they added an infused water bar that anyone can help themselves to. That just shows how this restaurant goes the extra mile for their customers.

This place is a gem in the big city conglomeration of downtown Minneapolis. Located inside an office building and the connecting Skywalk of downtown Minneapolis. Obviously there's plenty of food choices inside the skywalk. However, if you come across this downtown, I highly suggest eating there. The ordering process is quite simple, the staff is fantastic the cook is great and you will definitely leave happy! A hidden 💎

I have eaten lunch twice at Dave's and both times the food was delicious. Their barbeque pulled pork sandwich was tasty with good fries. The chicken tender salad was good too with nice crispy fried chicken. The salad had plenty left over for a second meal. The tomato soup was very hearty with generous chunks of tomato. Next time I am going to try one of their wraps.

All of the staff are very personable and extremely helpful. Breakfast hands down is the best when it comes to skyway options early in the morning. Dave's is the only place where I can get biscuits for my breakfast sandwiches, waffles and blueberry pancakes and turkey bacon. They have everything made just the way you request. I would recommend everyone try Dave's whether it's breakfast or lunch. You will not be disappointed!

Such a great place. The "kids" working there are great, very personable, polite and upbeat. The short order cook gets my order right and they are fast to get you your food. I go there often. Today (Tues) one of my favorites the Ruben!

It really good place for lunch. They have different stations. Burgers, tacos, pasta and salad. I always go for their grilled chicken burgers with fries. Their grilled chicken pieces are huge. They do a good job flavoring the chicken and they always taste fresh. You have so many options for toppings, sauces and cheeses for your sandwich. Their fries are good, which is always a big plus, and they have different opinions to season them to your liking, such as; Cajun seasoning, sea salt, garlic seasoning.

Delicious food, quick service! I've been going to Dave's at least once a week for over three years. Their wraps are the best! Chipotle Chicken wrap is my favorite. Go between 11-11:30am for the quickest service in the skyway. Keep up the good work, Dave's Downtown! I'll keep coming back!

Tried this place just by "seeing what's around" on GoogleMaps - and this has now turned into one of my favorite places to grab lunch during my time downtown. The sandwiches are delicious, portions of sandwich and sides are great for the price, and there is always free water available to guests - but it's not just regular water - its all infused with some type of fruit! Yum!

This is a not so hidden gem. Amazing food made fresh and quickly, a nice salad bar, drink selection, and desert options done in a "short order" fashion. I have eaten there at least 75 times and i have NEVER been dissapointed with the quantity or quality of the food. Cooks remember faces and orders, there is complimentary fruit infused waters and all the staff is friendly. The ONLY problem is that it has a limited open times which highlights how popular they are and how they can afford to be open until 2:00pm monday through friday. If they stayed open longer and on the weekends i would eat there even more.

Love this place. Get a lot of good for a great price and the food is very good. Lot of high end accoutrements for a reasonably priced restaurant like fruit infused waters, and all kinds of different milks and creams and flavours for your coffee. They really pay attention to the little details.

Best bang for your buck downtown! You won't be disappointed with the fast, friendly, and flexible menu. Personally I get the grilled buffalo chicken burger with fries. Don't forget the sea salt and vinegar seasoning!

**BUYER BEWARE** Once you try Daves Downtown crispy chicken wrap. You will never and I repeat NEVER. Find another chicken wrap that matches it. Good luck finding an alternative, I've tried.

Dave I eat here at least 5 times a week for break and lunch. Your family is all nice and the food is good. I cater with you everytime a partner comes in. We are right above you. Ever thought a doing something like Vals does? They give us an employee discount and are stealing business. I would tell everyone at my work if we got a special program going.

I've been going to Dave's since I started working downtown over a year ago, and I can easily say they are fantastic! Their food is some of the best I've had downtown, I'm not sure how fresh it is (ie frozen in a freezer for several weeks or not), but the taste is superb, so I suspect the ingredients are relatively fresh. I normally only ever grab lunch from them, but today I grabbed a breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg and cheese on an english muffin with some hashbrowns) and it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever eaten, and I've had many. I highly suggest anyone who is downtown to stop by and try something, burgers, sandwiches or salads, all of it is amazing.

Dave's is quick and tasty lunch option in the skyway. Great burgers, chicken sandwiches, wraps and daily specials. One really nice thing about Dave's is the infused water that's free and self serve. They also have a variety of hot sauces, bbq and mustards all available. This place is definitely geared towards someone that's in a lunch break and needs food fast. Prices are very reasonable as well.

I was recently in Minneapolis for a week-long conference. I typically research restaurants in advance and have a plan of action. Dave’s Downtown had good reviews, good selection of food and good prices, so I planned to have at least a few meals here. I had breakfast here several days, but I ordered the same thing each time: steel-cut oatmeal. The oatmeal serving was large, and they had plenty of additions to choose from (milk, non-dairy alternatives, raisins, chia seeds, nuts, chocolate chips, spices). The price was great, and the oatmeal was really filling! For breakfast, you order and pay at the cash register, and then wait for your food order to be called. I went to Dave’s for lunch once, as well. Ordering and payment is different for lunch. You choose what area you plan to order from (grill, entrée, sandwiches, salads and wraps, etc.) and wait in line. Order your food, wait for your number to be called, and then pay at the cash register as you head to the tables. They also have a pay per ounce salad bar. I ordered a burger with fries. Again, the price was great, coming in at under $10, and the portions were huge! I’m typically a member of the “clean plate club,” but I was unable to finish this meal. My favorite part of this restaurant may have actually been the free infused water! I tried both – a citrus water and a cucumber-lemon water. Surprisingly, the cucumber was my favorite. I drank plenty with my meals, and then filled up my water bottle on the way out. Delicious, healthy and saved me money from not purchasing a drink. Dave’s was definitely busy – a mix of out-of-town conference goers like myself, as well as locals who work in the building. As busy as it was, the employees were really efficient at keeping things moving quickly. If I’m ever in Minneapolis again for a conference, this will be my go-to for breakfast and lunch. Anyone who travels for work knows that the daily allowance for food isn’t always adequate, especially in larger cities. At Dave’s, I was able to get breakfast and lunch for around $15 total, leaving me more to work with for dinner and a few drinks in the evening!

Daves is a good place to grab breakfast or lunch if you are working downtown. I often grab breakfast here and the service is quick and the food is hearty and portioned on the bigger side. The burgers and chicken sandwiches are always a good bet for lunch. It always makes me smile when I walk in as they always have the restaurant decorated for what ever holiday is near.
