It was great! Haven't been there in a while. Split a fish basket with sweet potato fries. There is a new cook, very new, he's learning. Couple mistakes but they were being corrected as our food arrived. No problem at all! All our food was hot, tasty and fully enjoyed with a couple peanut butter stouts! Wait staff was attentive and not intrusive too 😊

Como Tap is a flexible venue for everything from chillin' with friends to date night. More upscale than typical bar food, run by an experienced chef (Joe) who has started multiple restaurants; yet affordable. Vegetarian and vegan options. Busy but not too busy. Variety of people from family to hipsters, neighborhood folks, students, professionals, all ages, depending on time of day and night. Highly recommended.

Came with our PubPasses! There are lots of delicious vegetarian options! We tried the black bean burger and buffalo cauliflower wings. Would definitely come back! Staff was really nice and the beer was delicious! The fries seemed a bit stale, which is why I gave it 4 stars. It was also pretty cold inside the restaurant - so wear a sweater! PS Kenzie gets 5 stars!

This place has become a decent little dive since the revamp. Looks good. Food is worthwhile and the tap lines have been cleaned.

The bar formerly known as Sportys, and even before that the Sportsman's Pub. Delicious burgers, fries, and other bar fare. Arcade games, pinball and pool, and pretty decent music. Classic local spot, highly recommend

A super fun atmosphere that I would recommend anyone looking for a fun bar. The bar has plenty other things to do besides drinking which doesn’t seem incredibly common. Food and drinks are also good for a bar. I found their Mac N Cheese to be quite good!

Food was decent. Burger was a tad dry but otherwise good. Cheese curds amazing! They were swamped and appeared to be lacking help, which is unfortunate for them. On a somewhat comical note, for being called Como Tap, their tap selection of drinks is quite small.

My favorite bar, Joe does a great job maintaining this dive and being especially creative through the pandemic. They do takeout exceptionally well for a place not natural to it, plus their rotating specials and additional menu items are great. They have a fantastic rotating beer selection, and during non-pandemic times, trivia and karaoke are can't-miss events. I recommend the Peanut Butter Bacon burger with some Cajun Tots. The Hot Chick sandwich is incredibly good as well.

Their happy hour deals are fabulous, as are their happy hour times, going until 7 pm. The service we received from the waitstaff was great. We really appreciated our server who went above and beyond. That said, the food is just okay (my husband had a philly sandwich and I had a chicken tender basket) and the kitchen staff seemed demeaning to waitstaff. We would go again for happy hour -- but it's not our favorite place in the neighborhood.

Nice tap list, lovely employees! My boyfriend and I love the cheese curds and chicken tender basket. So tasty! The basket meal comes with 3 tenders and its tearing our relationship apart. He always eats 2 out of the 3 and it's so annoying but there's a good serving of fries so I leave happy even though I'm dating a tender gobbler. We love como tap!!!

We love the Como Tap but their take-out fish basket last night was unimpressive. We'll stick with their burgers or their wonderful chicken tenders. Still love the place!

Food was tasty and arrived quickly, even, may I say, freaky fast. Service friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Prices were quite good, especially for a metro, close to campus, location. Layout and decor is the same as with previous management. Open and maybe a bit too airy. Could use some attention to detail; a cleaning and sprucing up would be welcome, some TLC combined with elbow grease. Bathrooms could use attention. Looking for value? Give 'em a try.

Vert busy bar. Not the prettiest place but it's fun. Friendly, not too expensive. You'll need to be okay with ultra-crowded.

The Hangover Burger (bacon, egg, pretzel bun) is INCREDIBLE. I literally will order this meal twice a week over any other alternative. Cheese curds are great too, and not to mention the takeout is ready in always 10-15 min!

Honestly a better version of Sportys in many ways. I really like the updated menu. As my friend said on our visit "They have dessert!". The drink menu is large and fairly reasonable in price.

I've had the pleasure of frequenting this bar for years; In the past change of ownership it has only gained it's original charm. To me it's a departure from gentrification, in favor of a more personable, traditional atmosphere; and kitchen. I've seen few bars like it across the country.

Stopped in to sportys which is now the Como Tap. In a passport club and they honored my free beer. Classic dive bar which is my favorite. Pinball, billiards, televisions and cold beer. Tater tots for an app and 2 cold beers. Server was extremely nice and very attentive. 5 stars because i can.

Service was great! Sadly everything else was a little lacking. They got rid of any happy hour food specials that Sporty’s had and it felt like everything was 10-20% more expensive too. I miss cozy club. The food was good, fries are what sporty’s fries used to be (ei. Excellent). Unfortunately the charm just isn’t there anymore either. A big bummer was that someone kept playing the worst music on the jukebox and the staff didn’t cut them off. It was like a mix of LMFAO, Pit Bull and heavy EDM at 4:30 on a Sunday. They loaded like 40 minutes of music into the machine, I couldn’t wait to pay my tab and escape. It’s kind of like they put a new coat of lipstick on the old pig everyone liked and are trying to pass it off as a peacock.

Service is always friendly and prompt, cocktails are well mixed, food is solid. Tap list is a little small. Overall, very good sports bar for a fun night.

Everyone was sad Sporty's was closing, but Como Tap is literally the same place. Posters were taken down, walls painted, and the posters put back. Now there are locks on the bathrooms! Good choice of craft beers, unpredictable results if you order a cocktail with more than two ingredients, same food. If you order anything that's not deep fried or grilled, you're in the wrong place.

Snickerdoodle Studio

The star of the show is the karaoke. Surprising talents on wednesdays, lively crowds on Fridays, and Saturdays were recently added to the roster. Never a dull moment! Oh yeah, and they fixed the bathroom doors. Thank God.
