So many fun drinks to try here, I hope to be back so I can get more than just the Jade Dragon. The shop is very cute with little side areas for sitting that allow you some distance if you want during Covid times. The vegan treats were interesting, maybe not my first go to for a waffle and pancake but very good for being vegan. The cloudberry sauce on the pancakes was great. I just wish there were longer hours so I could come back after work sometime.

YUM! Such a good spot to stop in downtown for tasty treats. I love the fact that the menu is gluten free and vegan. I had never tried crystal Boba before and they gave me a sample to see if I wanted it in my drink. I didn't, but it was still very cool. The pancake bites were so tasty and the edible glitter made my day and brought smiles to our faces.

Super cute cafe! Finally sweets that are easy on my tummy. Thank you for this GF vegan sweets spot. I took a mango tea recommendation from the owner that was super refreshing! I also tried the cloudberry pancakes. They were so yummy and not too sweet. The "butter" is so creamy and has such great flavor. And so pretty with the glitter. I wish there were delivery options so I could try more often, but I will be back!

We enjoyed the cloudberry waffle sticks and the Vietnamese iced coffee was pretty good also! Love that it's 100% gluten free so I don't need to worry despite having celiac disease. However, be aware that the wait can be quite long. I expected it to be much quicker and almost had too much time on my parking meter; unfortunately it's right in an area with only paid parking around which is kinda inconvenient when you want to just stop in for something to go.

LOVE Coconut Whisk! I have been a few times and it seems after every visit I'm already planning my next! The owners and staff are always so inviting and friendly. The shop is comfortable and a great place to visit with friends. Everything I've tried has been delicious...Mini Pancakes, Waffle Sticks, and all the Boba! Good luck trying to decide on so many delicious options. Thank you Coconut Whisk team for doing what you do!

This is absolutely my favorite cafe in the twin cities. The staff is soooooo nice. The owner, Bella, is a sweetie. The waffle sticks and mini pancakes are adorable and delicious. But the drinks are the best by far! I am lactose intolerant/maybe allergic to milk, so 99% of milk teas make me sick. However here, I can have anything on the menu with no fear of a hidden dairy ingredient. I work right down the street, so I have a very hard time saying no to Coconut Whisk as my afternoon treat. If you're in the area, you have to give this place a try. And if you're not in the area then you should definitely buy some of their baking mixes online.

100% gluten free & vegan! i got the original waffles sticks which has powdered sugar and gold flakes on top and comes with a side of mylk cloud and maple syrup. the mylk cloud is almost like vegan whipped butter, it was super good and salty! the crème brûlée boba was delicious too! it tastes like waffles actually! definitely would come back to try more!

Stopped here for a solo Sunday splurge. I had sweet, fluffy mom’s favorite cereal pancakes and a smooth lavender & vanilla latte. I really like the mix and match tea options and the peach bum with mango popping boba was refreshing on a warm day.

They were so amazing. I came from ny to visit and coconut whisk made my stay feel like home. I did not have exact change so was given a free iced Vietnamese coffee. Beautiful inside and the iced coffee was the best I ever had. Was also given this for free a cookie mix that I’m going to bake at home

Honestly an amazing boba shop for many reasons: - has a large variety in types of good drinks. And yummy specialty drinks - drinks are not too sweet - space is cute and fun - workers were super nice Had the "jade dragon" or strawberry matcha latte with oat milk and it was one of the better strawberry matchas I have had Also tried the "lake monster" pea flower drink which was also a yummy tangy drink Highly recommend if you are in the area

Super cute vibes inside, and it smells AMAZING. I stopped in to get the Vietnamese iced coffee. Love that everything there is vegan. Usually boba and other specialty Asian drinks are not vegan friendly at all, so it’s so great to have the option. Thank you!!

Boba was fantastic, got the crème brûlée. The atmosphere is great, super cute. We got the mamas cereal pancakes. The pancakes were okay, and I was not a fan of the mylk fluff. Kind of expensive for what you get and the taste but love to see a vegan/gluten-free place being creative! food comes with glitter 😉 Also not a fan of the amount of plastic that comes with so little food. Yes it’s compostable so make sure you dispose of it properly please!

I've only been here twice and I am already in love with this cute and aesthetically pleasing cafe! The lighting it perfect for your instagram photo ops and not too hard on the eyes! As for the food My first time around I got The Cloudberry pancakes my first time around, topped with strawberries and their creamy mylk cloud whipped topping and edible glitter for that extra touch of fancy! These were so light and fluffy and the mylk cloud complements the sweetness of the strawberry topping, they were an absolute 10 out of 10! My second time around I got the Classic mylk boba, they were unfortunately out of boba but the drink itself without the boba was absolutely amazing! Deliciously creamy and ever so slightly sweet went perfectly with the Mom's Favorite Cereal mini pancakes which had cinnamon sugar, powdered sugar, and that ever so enticing edible glitter! They are also vegan and allergy free which is hard to find in downtown Minneapolis. The employees were knowledgable and friendly and happy to give suggestions and answer the questions I had! Definitely a breath of fresh air in the Nicollet mall area. will definitely be coming back!

Absolutely adorable bubble tea place with a great atmosphere and wonderful decor! I ordered the golden hour (tumeric) drink and my sister got a Vietnamese coffee. We got environmentally friendly cups and straws to go. I highly recommend stopping in and trying something!

Phenomenal service! The staff moved quick and were willing to take as long as I needed to ask questions and understand. The food was delicious and chocolatey and the boba was perfectly chewy. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Not usually big on gluten free items, but Coconut Whisk is awesome. Their Waffle Stick is A++++ and they score big points for being the only vegan Vietnamese Iced Coffee I've found. My only wish is that they'd open earlier on weekdays. As someone buses into downtown every morning, it would be great to be able to stop there before work!

SO DANG GOOD! i’m so glad i stumbled upon this place’s social media and made the trip. it’s hard to find decent vegan & gluten free quick eats like this in minneapolis and this place did not disappoint. the owner & her partner were also super sweet. highly recommend!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff! The interior of the cafe is so cute! We ordered "Mom's Favorite Cereal" & "The Chocolate Factory" waffles sticks to eat, which were both delicious (especially the chocolate sauce). To drink we had "The Jade Dragon" & "Lake Monster". They were yummy and not too sweet! The cafe is also in a very convenient location right across the street from Target. I highly recommend visiting Coconut Whisk!

Absolutely loved it here and cannot wait to visit again. Everything is 100% gluten and dairy free! They make mini pancakes or waffle sticks with 5 different varieties available. Real maple syrup, mylk cloud (DF whipped cream cheese), and edible glitter (on the cinnamon sugar ones) made the mini pancakes such a fun treat! I had the dirty mylk boba tea and it had such an incredible brown sugar flavor! They use oat milk that is is 100% safe as well, and you can get that same mylk cloud on top of your drinks. Highly recommend trying it!

This is a super cute shop downtown by target! I really like the Jade Dragon & The cinnamon waffle sticks! I tried the blueberry waffle sticks previously and they tasted like the wood sticks they were on. However, the cinnamon ones are great. Not sure if they’ve changed sticks. It is a little pricey though for a quick stop, and sadly isn’t open m-w. Would return!

Wish I had this place in my backyard, 7/5 stars The interior design is so cute, very bright and inviting, there’s some small art things available to buy Music taste 100/10, very calming but up to date The cloudberry: super tasty, I like that it wasn’t overpoweringly sweet but you could taste all the flavors: the fruit, the waffle, the syrup and the mylk cloud. The two baristas were amazing. We were cutting it close to closing time and they were incredibly patient and kind. They even offered to remake a drink when mistakenly using the wrong milk before we asked. Amazing. And the food was great. All around good experience for a group with a vegan, someone with a soy allergy, and someone with gluten/dairy restrictions. 👌👌👌

I’ve been looking forward to the opening of this little cafe ever since it was announced and my expectations were exceeded! Cute, fun and airy storefront. Mouth watering, simple, easy to understand menu. You choose mini-pancakes or waffle sticks, and then the flavor. We shared an order of mini-pancakes with “Mom’s Favorite Cereal” - cinnamon sugar. The pancakes were perfectly cooked, the cinnamon sugar and butter were delicious. We also ordered the Vietnamese coffee and Bubble Mylk Tea. Both were deliciously creamy, not too sweet, and refreshing. Did I mention this was all VEGAN AND GLUTEN FREE?? I was nervous about parking but I easily found a metered spot on 9th St. What a delightful addition to downtown! I’m already excited about our next visit!

The food and bubble tea are delicious, the storefront is adorable, and the owners are so kind and genuine. I was worried about ease of parking, but that was also easy. I was in and out! It was absolutely delicious! It was sooo nice as my vegan sister could enjoy everything and so could I. I have their lavender mylk tea and it was amazing and their boba was extremely good. Would definitely recommend especially as I know many people with dairy or dietary restrictions who would love this.

I got the Vietnamese iced coffee and the strawberry cloud pancakes which were both absolutely delicious! As someone who is gluten free (and pancakes are my favorite food!) I was so excited to find a place like this! I can’t wait to come back and try the waffle sticks next. The workers were super kind, and even though they were having issues with their system when we went, they were still so efficient! Would definitely recommend you check this delightful spot out.

The waffle sticks were SO good!! They had really fun flavors, and for being gluten free and vegan, it’s impressive. But the boba was NOT good. It was like I was drinking just milk and really nasty chewy tapioca. My friend ordered a sweet hot herbal tea. It wasn’t sweet, and she paid $4.50 for Luke warm water and a tea bag. Kinda expensive. But I would go just for the waffles

Enjoyed the waffle sticks covered in a rich chocolate sauce and dusted with gold. A treat for the eyes and the taste buds! I had tried their store-bought pancake/waffle mix before, but they really knock it out of the park at the cafe. Fluffy, moist interior with great flavor, and crisp exterior with delicious toppings. They were out of their signature Mylk Cloud the day I went, so I can’t review that, but the matcha pearl tea with strawberries was so refreshing! Better than most of the larger chain places I’ve been to in MN. Inside of the cafe is very cute! Location may be hard to get to depending on when you come, but definitely worth a visit!

Delicious bubble tea! Suggestion to the owner to find a compostable straw option instead of paper straws. The paper straw kind of ruined the experience for me. It disintegrated and broke in half before I could finish my tea :(

I’ve been so excited to try this, and it did not disappoint! The pancakes and waffle sticks were delicious, service was friendly and efficient, drinks were great, and the restaurant is beautiful. I plan to buy some of their great stickers on my next visit as well. Our standout favorite was the Mylk Cloud - I want to put that on bagels and pastries and everything I can think of! I was worried about parking, but there were plenty of street spots and a surface lot just around the corner. I’m hopeful that someday decaf Vietnamese Iced Coffee will be an option!

The waffles were fluffy and crispy. The staff all very friendly and helpful. It's not the most convenient place to make a quick stop, but fantastic for a planned visit. Their drinks are tasty without the artificial taste, and overall the pricing is very affordable.

Visited Coconut Whisk Cafe during their opening weekend and was incredibly impressed. Often, opening weekends show a bit of the growing pains of a new establishment, but I saw none of it during my visit: the service and recommendations was quick and knowledgeable, the decor was top notch (my friend loved it so much she bought TWO paintings off the wall!), and the food was so playful and decadent. I am not vegan nor do I have dietary restrictions, but I would not have known the difference and, perhaps, even PREFFERED my berry waffle sticks and Vietnamese coffee to their dairy-heavy rivals. If you are downtown Minneapolis in the morning or over lunch, this pleasant haven is a must-stop.

It's a very lovely and cozy little place. My fiance and I got two teas here and extra pearls for our drinks because they're so good. It was a little expensive almost $20 for the two drinks but they were good and the staff is very friendly. The only reason this doesn't get five stars is that the location for this place doesn't feel very safe to me. But that's not the shops fault at all.

I’ve tried quite a few drinks and some of the pancake options off their menu, and everything is absolutely delicious, as well as Vegan/GF! The waffles were soo fluffy and airy, the coffee was smooth, The atmosphere is so lovely, and my favorite part is that they showcase and sell products from local BIPOC & woman artists!! the staff is incredibly friendly & I loved visiting and highly recommend! ❤️

I was feeling blue because humans are chaos and the world is dying.. 🥴 I passed by Coconut Whisk and thought maybe a beverage would make me feel less like a Sad Sally… It is such a cute shop and the baristas are SO FREAKING NICE. Immediately, I was cheered.. I ordered a latte and I don’t know if they put liquid Xanax in it but seriously it was delicious and made my day a billion times better. I will def be back. 💜

Very cute cafe, conveniently located in downtown Minneapolis with skyway access! I got the Dirty Mylk Boba (brown sugar) and it was delicious. Staff are friendly and accommodating as well. I’m happy to have a new go-to boba spot downtown! :-)

When I heard this place was both vegan and gluten free I knew I had to check it out. Having celiac disease it’s rare to find a place that offers pancakes and waffles that are both gluten free and delicious, but coconut whisk does both! I ended up getting “the hashtag classic” mini pancakes, “the chocolate factory” waffle sticks and a Vietnamese coffee. The pancakes were light, fluffy and so cute. The chocolate factory waffle sticks were SO SO good. Like once I was finished I instantly wanted more good. YUM! I also actually really enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee as well- not too sweet and loved that it was Vegan. The only downside (If you could call it that) was they use oat milk in their drinks. While oat milk can be a fantastic substitute- some of us with celiac disease still react to oats- even if they’re certified gluten free. They were able to make my coffee with almond milk, which I appreciated but as they continue to grow I’d love to see one or two non dairy options (coconut or almond milk) on their menu. Another pain point I saw was people taking orders and trying to then remember whose order they had taken when the food was ready. I think they’re still trying to work out what they’re trying to do here (name call) but it was busy and that can get hard during busy times. Maybe a stand with a number might help? Anyways, It was their first weekend open when I went and if this is the only pain point they have, they’re going to do fantastically. I can’t wait to go back!
