Service was phenomenal! Steak was actually rare, and SO tender. Highly recommend the Brussels sprouts. A good selection of beer on tap, gorgeous dining room, and a staff that pays attention to detail. Quite a few gluten friendly options.

Been to Italy around a dozen times so I might be a harsh critique. The bruschetta was soggy and the pizza margherita was American style -- Crust with cheese. I had high hopes when I seen the wood fired oven just to be let down. The service was very good. I wouldn't be interested in going back, especially at the price point -- $72.00 for two people. (No drinks.) They could use less tables. Literally had another table seated less than 12 inches away from me and my mother was surrounded on her side of the table.

What a fantastic Italian restaurant! The wait staff were outstanding-Janet was our server and made sure we had a great experience. It was more upscale then we anticipated lol but not stuffy at all. The food was so delicious!!! The menu limited but they perfect what is made. I don't drink but was utterly amazed at their wine and after dinner drink selection. Parking easy...a very nice outdoor patio-just too hot today for our liking. Recommend!!!

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE! I have come here for years JUST for the short ribs and now never again. The waitress proudly announced that a "new, more leaner meat" was now being used. What I was served was pot roast, not short ribs! Short ribs have a bone and yes, it is a fattier piece of meat. That is what gives it it's flavor. I don't need to spend 40 dollars on pot roast! How sad!

Short ribs with al dente spaghetti was worth the cost. Barada Caprese was super fresh. They take there CDC cleaning seriously. Super efficient staff everyone has a role here picking up dishes are dropping off new ones are done by separate people. Servers just take your order and bring drinks. Open til 10 on the weekends but it’s dead after nine.

Holy cow! The Ribs are the best I've ever had. Delicious, off the bone, melt in your mouth Ribs. We went for dinner as a party of 14. The Fried rice balls were the first to come. The drinks came right after. I had the Bees knees, it was so good I got it again. The atmosphere was perfect for a chilly winter night. Service was top notch. I would highly recommend! 😁👍

My wife and I stopped by for happy hour on a Thursday afternoon in the spring. Parking was easy so we entered the clean restaurant and headed for the bar. We were greeted by a friendly bartender and had our cocktails in front of us quickly. We were both impressed with the happy hour menu. Everything was five bucks! The meatballs were delicious. Service was excellent. We will stay for dinner next time we are in town.

Enjoyed their restaurant week menu. The sea scallops were great and we loved the polenta with it. The desserts were pretty good too but for a 3 course meal we were getting full so we couldn't finish it. Overall great experience.

We’ve been coming here for years and have consistently had great experiences. Service is top and the food is really tasty. Just had the spicy bolognese tonight and it was wonderful. The budino and mousse cake are also delightful and interesting desserts. Perfect for a group meal or even a date.

Wonderful staff who took good care of our large group on rather short notice. Excellent beer menu, delicious food and wine, and a pleasant fine dining atmosphere. They also accommodated gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian members of our group! Annie did an excellent job and was very kind and caring! Overall a great place for a celebration!

Great place for a business dinner. Wine prices are reasonable. The Balsamic glaze short ribs are amazing! Tonight I tried the hanger steak and it was very good. It still did not beat out my goto which are the balsamic ribs!

They have a nice, airy patio. Their staff was very kind considering we were a large party ordering food and drinks during Happy Hour. The patio is leashed dog friendly. The food was delicious. We ordered the Calamari, Margarita Pizza, and Meatballs. I drank the Angry Orchard.

Campiello is a nice gem outside the cities' main loop - solid Italian food, and just the right touches of fine dining while maintaining a welcoming vibe. My kale, blueberry and gorgonzola salad was a joy, and the bucatini alla amatriciana was rich without overplaying its hand, and generally delicious. A semisweet chocolate budino was a fantastic, indulgent end to the meal - decadent and refreshing all the same.

All the makings of a great Italian restaurant. But the limited menu selection, average food quality and poor service was disappointing for my first visit here. Heard good things about the restaurant, perhaps we give it another try someday. Not terrible, but not worth the trip or the prices this time.

Great place, food was prepared and plated well. Staff was very attentive and friendly. They even timed perfectly so that all 10 of us had our plates on the table at the same moment and retrieved them in the same manner. Definitely worth the visit.

Very good service and equally good food and drinks! We went to this place after work, more like a business team dinner. I highly recommend to make reservations in advance. I called and booked a table for our team, when we reached we had no wait and we were seated without any wait. Good menu selection, few folks tried the Lamb shank dinner, from special of the month ( December, 21), I must say this was soooo good, and we were told this is slow cooked for 4 plus hours, overall entire team enjoyed the other dinner options and we had a great time.

My BF and I visited and had an overall decent experience. It took some time to get greeted, but they were busy so that was understandable (not why I’m giving 4 stars.) We had the mussels as a starter they were delicious. My entree was “unremarkable” I had the salmon and it was as bland as could be. My BF and I were surprised since his pasta dish was delicious. We had the butterscotch dessert and that was also great. Unfortunate that the salmon was as bland as it was.

We were first timers here, just popped in with my daughter for an early dinner and we had a very pleasant experience. The restaurant was nice and clean and the employees were very attentive. The food selection is not a huge variety, but you wouldn't leave hungry. Our dinner was delicious and other entrees that we saw looked appealing. They have a nice selection of wine and other drinks too. We'll be back!

Had a wonderful experience at Campiello. It is a place you can either dress up for, or walk in with jeans and a nice shirt. Perfect for either work dinners, anniversaries, or any special occasion. Staff is very friendly and the customer service is top notch. While the menu may be smaller than expected, it is made up with by excellent preparation and cooking. Wine aficionados rejoice! They have an excellent wine selection to pair with whatever you order. They also support a bunch of local breweries if that is more your speed. Very happy with my experiences here and recommend to anyone wanting a special meal with friends or loved ones.

Excellent cuisine. We had eggplant that had delicious cheese and a crunchy crust. Also had balsamic-glazed short ribs that were very tender and a rich sauce. Our waiter David was very well informed about the menu offerings. Great service provided by all the staff. All CDC protocols were followed, masks, social distancing. My wife and I felt very comfortable! Great place to dine! A must for anyone traveling through!!!

It's hard to find really good Italian in this area, and this place delivers. We had the pepperoni pizza, spicy lamb bolognese, roasted chicken penne, chocolate mousse cake and pandoro bread pudding. Everything was top notch. Excellent service and fancy dining atmosphere.

Best food and service in town! Never disappointed here. Calamari is great. We had the corn and Pancetta pizza and the mushroom truffle pizza with a side of the brussel sprouts, blue cheese and Pancetta. Finished off with chocolate cake. Everything was spot on. Thanks again to the staff for helping us celebrate our anniversary. We will be back again soon!

What an amazing experience! From ambience, workers, food, to service. The food was just extraordinary. Portions were decent. Bread was fresh. The waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. Food was authentic. One thing I would like to point out that the waiter asked for our information including our addresses. He stated that we would be entered in a drawing to win a gift card. About a week later I received a card in the mail. The card was signed personally by out waiter. Thanking us for our business. What a thoughtful touch on their end. It is very easy to say that they really appreciate the business they get. I was there for a business trip. When I go back I am definitely going back there. Keep up the good work guys!

Very lovely late (1:30) celebratory lunch. Loved the eggplant dish, as well as the tuna sandwich. We cleared out the DR, just at the start of Happy Hour, and the wait staff was very accommodating and gracious. Complimentary dessert for the birthday girl. If I have any concern, it would be the quite pricey menu. Lovely surroundings, but there are other less expensive restaurants in the area (ie., Yum) with very good food.

Lovely place to go! Went out for lunch during restaurant week and the food was awesome. Spicy lamb Bolognese and a butternut squash soup went well together and were very flavorful. The spicy was more like a lively touch of heat to offset the flavor of the lamb shoulder. There was a bit of a mix up with the check, but the staff were very helpful in sorting it out quickly. I will definitely be returning for the rest of the menu!

Lovely Italian restaurant with great, authentic food and a super friendly staff. Good location (perfect for me, as it is just across the street from my office), ample parking, reasonable prices (except for the $9.50 per scoop ice cream & sorbet...). Pleasant patio during the warm season. Good wine list. Fun "date night" promotions on Sunday nights, with half-priced wine bottles and prix fixe menu choices. Low staff turnover, which is good for patrons, employees and management. You can't find a better waitress anywhere than Jenny, the epitome of friendly & professional service.

Had a great lunch here with some work colleagues last summer. Our server was very attentive and the food was delicious. The only negative is that we were sitting outside and there weren't enough umbrellas to go around. Pricing seems consistent with the level of quality and service. Highly recommended.

Absolutely stunning food at a reasonable price. Delicious through and through. I wish I could remember the name of our server, because he did an excellent job, he knew the menu, and he had some great recommendations. My mom and I were in the area, and were looking for a fairly nice place to eat. We stopped here, and did not regret it in the slightest. Comparing this restaurant to Olive Garden would be an insult. So much better. I just wished we lived in the area. Would definitely visit again, and I advise you to do the same.

Today we spent some time at Campiello for the first time. I had the halibut and my wife had the beat salad and meatballs and flowered zucchini appetizers - wow! The flavor was wonderful! But the service was even better! I worked with Matt (one of the owners I believe) to arrange a special surprise for my wife. They went above the friendly service you would expect and made us feel like one of the family - what a joy! Even with this being a special event for us I happen to notice the high level of service given to guests all around us. If there was a sixth star to give for service, I would give it! This was a great experience and we will be back!!!

Absolute fine dining, loved everything we had for happy hours and dinner. We spent close to 4 hours in the restaurant. Had whiskey, wine, salad, meat balls, in-house baked breads, soup and my fav pork ribs. Pork ribs is a must try for sure. The staff is highly trained and they know about everything available in the menu. They make you feel special while they serve you. Had a great time.

Great food choices, very friendly staff. We had reservations for 6pm on 11-18 for 6 and didn't need them. By 7 however, the place was getting pretty busy. Food I thought was well priced and the portions were very good. My wife had an appetizer and a side, she couldn't finish it all (lots of calamari for an app, and was tasty). I had the lamb Bolognese and it was dynamite. I read some of the other reviews and agree with the other 5 star reviews. I think the 4&> reviews must've been there on an off night. I'm going back.

This is such an amazing place where you can taste Italian foods. They decorated both inside and outside of the restaurant with lovely decorations. They have a wood fire so you can try a wood fire grill meat/fish/chicken or pizza, it's up to you. Service was enough to make you feel better.

I have driven past this place a lot, but never paid a lot of attention to it. Was here over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised with the food and quality of service. The Bruschetta and the Martini were the best of what I had there. The pizza was also outstanding. It was a nice evening when we where there and enjoyed sitting around in the patio.

Beautiful environment. Food is amazing. NO ONE does short ribs better in the Twin Cities!! Salads are amazing too! Always a cozy spot to go with just one person or a group. Servers are always fantastic too!!

Wow! I was not expecting a place of this quality in the suburbs. It was incredible! Our server, Michael, provided us with easily some of the best service ice had, no joke. The food was great and they were willing to bend over backwards to to make us happy. The atmosphere was pleasant, but felt like a chain, which didn't reflect the quality of food and service. I'm in town for a week and will most likely head back again before I leave.

They did a great job for Easter Brunch but service was struggling to keep up and you needed reservations. Brunch is best with a large group do to family style service. If you go for dinner get balsamic glazed short ribs. By far the best item on the menu and one of the best dinners I have ever had.

The food and beverage selection here are wonderful classic Italian fare. The food is excellent, well seasoned, and consistent. Make sure you try the braised beef! Beautiful restaurant inside. Note that there are no booths or any type of more private, intimate dining. Only table service. I feel like this restaurant is more expensive than comparable restaurants in the area, especially when you factor in portions.

Oh baby! I have found my new favorite Italian restaurant in the Twin Cities! Ordered the lamb meatballs appetizer, and they were fantastic. Doubled down with the cavatelli with spicy lamb bolognese for my entree. PHENOMENAL! The tiramisu dessert topped off the meal delightfully. I'll be back!

Beautiful! Great food and very Authentic Italian. The service here was really nice and the food is delicious also the interior and exterior of the restuarant is so beautifully decorated and designed. The booths at the back are especially comfortable and it is a good spot to eat and people watch. Also I'm not sure if this is every time but the table next to us was very friendly and nice to talk with while we were at Campiello

Campiellos was a enjoyable experience. We got there before 5 and the dinner side wasn’t open so we sat bar side and I could have stayed there. The food waiting for dinner was great it was happy hour so the price for what we got was extraordinary. Didn’t think it could be better but dinner came and I was once again proven wrong. Food was great, serving staff was fantastic. Would recommend for all.

Went to dinner last night to celebrate a birthday... the new menu is just ok... space seems loud and not as “special” as before. Waiter was slow.... sat for over 10 minutes when we arrived before he came for a drink order .....and our finished dirty plates sat in front of us for 15 minutes. He was no where in site and it was not busy at that time. Felt like he had better things to do... not sure what, as he did not have that many tables. Just a ok experience.... hard to say we will be back!

It was so so nice! The food was really good and everything smelled awesome. Coming in I didn't really know what to expect and I was very impressed. I'd say it was quite a bit fancier and more expensive than I was really going for but for what it is it's completely reasonable. But definitely expect about $30 or more for the average price for a main course. Overall super fancy nice place I would definitely go back and probably actually try and dress up a little bit next time lol

My fiance and I had a wonderful 5th anniversary dinner here! It's expensive, but the Sunday night date night came with an appetizer, entree and dessert of our choice for each at only $55 for the couple. They include some of their fanciest menu items on their date night menu, so you aren't just stuck with the "cheap items" either! I had a salad, blackened hanger steak with potato puree and roasted tomatoes and a chocolate PB mousse cake with salted caramel gelato! Definitely a great date night place!!!

I had the mushroom risotto. It was difficult to find the mushrooms in the dish, but the flavor was good. I also had a side of spinach. It was rather salty and I was not able to finish it. The atmosphere was nice for conversation and the waitstaff was pleasant.

Sat at the bar and had amazing service. Homemade chips were sitting there waiting for us. Great craft cocktails (I had the cosmo) and some appetizers (Calamari and mortadella pizetta) which were delicious. And it was happy hour! Totally worth a stop in...at least once.

Easy take out process. From the looks of it they're doing a great job with the dine-in option as well. Indoor and outdoor tables are spaced out well. Masks and hand sanitizer available at the host table. And of course the food was good, too!

Delicious. That is the simplest way to put it. My server, Jenny, was excellent. She answered questions, was attentive without ever being over bearing and even offered to change my white linen napkin for a black one so it didn't leave any fabric on my black pants. Clean, comfortable, a great value for a more upscale lunch experience. When they say something is spicy they mean it has flavor, not burn your mouth like some places calling the food spicy! Very glad Google/Trip advisor recommend them.

It was our first time here for our valentine's day. Our host alex was amazing and our server annie was great. I wasn't quite sure what wine I wanted and annie was able to describe many varieties in detail. We had fun talking to her and she even suggested our food and she was right, our food was incredible. They were there to fill up my beer everytime it was close to done and always asked how we were doing. I cannot wait to come back.

First time eating here. Loved the space and the outside esthetics. Ambiance is nice and open. I enjoyed seeing the open kitchen. I ordered the chicken parmesan sandwich. Chicken was pounded beautifully with a nice crunchy -but not oily- breading. Chicken was still moist throughout which I loved. Bread was fresh and fluffy. Cheese was fresh and delicious as well as the light aioli spread for moisture. Absolutely loved the roasted tomatoes jam. Fries were cooked perfectly. My only complaint would be that the bread was burnt slightly at the under-edges and at times overwhelmed the flavor with a burnt taste. A bit of a turnoff for me. However, that didn’t stop me from enjoying my meal. So maybe keep a better eye on the bread. I would certainly come back. Reasonably priced as well.

Campiello is always on the top of my short list of “go to” places in the west metro. It’s kind of a hidden gem that everyone in the area knows about but are also all pretty careful and tight lipped as to not let the cat out of the bag. Portions are generous in true Italian fashion and their specials have never disappointed, in fact I would usually recommend this option. Great casual - upper casual atmosphere and somewhat child friendly as well.

Good food and excellent service. Enjoyed the Restaurant Week lunch specials with co-workers. The Italian Chopped Salad with a Cavetelli, Spicy Lamb Bolognese topped off with a Butterscotch Budino were flavorful and well presented. Nice atmosphere too. Warrants a return visit to investigate their happy hour and their dinners.

Listed this earlier, but it was mistakenly posted under Best Buy. Campiello has been a favorite of mine for high end Italian cuisine. Last visit did not disappoint. Just checked out Campiello for the first time. Very nice food and very nice service. I felt a little underdressed when we went as the atmosphere is very businesslike, but there were also a group of elderly ladies celebrating someone's birthday. The staff was super attentive to start, but near the end of the meal they kind of forgot about us. This may not sound weird, but they kept walking around our table on the gravel rocks (we were outside), which felt very odd.

Our family has been going to Campielo's infrequently since they first opened. I am not sure why they are not on our 'regular' list because they deserve to be. It may be because Minneapolis has some really good dining options. We made an in-person reservation to celebrate our son and soon to be daughter in law's engagement. They agreed to all our special requests, including bringing our own wine (corkage fee applies) and table decorations. The food was predictably excellent. The waiting staff are well trained. I mean, European quality waiting, not spoilt Eden Prairie brats trying to please Mom and Dad by working a job! Will definitely return more often. (Did I mention they also have a convenient bar with seating).

Terrific! House salad is the very best, and is in every way exactly what a top notch house salad should be in terms of contents, dressing, and presentation (wanted to lick the plate after). The quality of the accompanying bread and spread is so very satisfying. I can highly recommend the Cavatelli Spicy Lamb Bolognese for the main course. So delicious and satisfying to the last byte, and just the right size portion to have prior to thoroughly enjoying the Tiramisu Classico Dolce selection. On top of all of this was the impeccable and attentive service provided by the waiting staff.

From the moment we walked through the door we were instantly greeted and seated. Our server was Ole and he was quick to assist to in our navigation through the menu, while giving indepth descriptions of the most popular dishes. I ended up having the tomato basil soup and penne with chicken. The tomato was smooth and full of flavor while my chicken in the penne was extremely soft and moist. Thank you Ole!
