Reviews of Cajun Boiling Minneapolis
This place is awesome. As a food critic, seafood is my favorite of all. Living in MN, seafood can be very expensive and the prices here were not bad, at all. The seafood was a little overcooked, but oh goodness, it was seasoned so well it was worth the lookover. The boys working the counter were relaxed, cool, and respectful. I appreciate the experience and I will be back with friends and family. Overall a good experience. 👍
Cool spot. Food was descent and reasonably priced. Hapoy Hour specials were good. A group of us had dinner while in town for an event. Nothing bad, Nothing super special, service was fair. Overall I would eat here again if I was in town. (I had the build your own crab bag and Cajun wings)
My first time in Minneapolis and decided to give some seafood a try. This place was close to me. I spent about 10 mins trying to find parking. I went around 2pm, so it wasn’t busy at all. Our food came out really fast. The food was flavorful. The corn needs to be cooked longer. It was hard. I only ordered their boiled food. The lady taking orders was very nice and respectful. You order your food, pay, and then go sit anywhere you want to if you’re dining in.
I usually get my seafood boils from here. Not too much garlic used so it became my favorite spot for awhile. However, I wish the peeled shrimp were cleaned better. I’ve developed a habit of inspecting them before I eat them.
Now that we have a Cagun in Minnesota. I'm from New Orleans, and knows Cajun and Creole food. Believe me not there yet, but good try. You have to let your seafood soak in the seasoning until serving. Down south has gulf shrimp and crawfish does not be sold year round. Louisiana have shrimp season and crawfish season. Once one of those seasons is not in season they don't sell until no shrimp or crabs.
Very nice staff, attentive and friendly. Help us with peeling craw fish as we never had it before. Spicy is spicy! Lol would recommend to others who want to try some food like this. Came in a bag with all the juices and you put it on your tray. When you want to take it home they put it in a bag for you too!
The bad reviews made me try it. Because the bad reviews were all 'you'll get your hands dirty' 'its messy' 'no presentation.' Its a mf'ing cajun boil, that's the stuff you want. We got two rounds of boil. First was 1lbs of crawfish, 1/2 lbs black mussels, and 1/2 lbs clams. All sauces. Spicy. Its was so good that we got another round of 1lbs crawfish 1/2 lbs head-on shrimp. First round was better. I think having the bivalves I. The boil made the flavors richer.
I will be back. It wasn't crowded at dinner time on a Friday, which makes me nervous for its future. So, give it a try and get dirty!
Food was tasty but expensive I’m here to tell you that 1 pound of crab and one pound of shrimp is not enough for anyone with a big appetite 😂 food was good though and served fast I’m sure Covid played a role in this also …
This place was really great overall that's why I gave it five stars the food was fresh hot and tasty they were also able to accommodate our party of 10 fast the only thing I would say is that they probably needed more cooks or maybe they were just busy but it just took a little long for the food to come out but it was really good place must try. I had the lb of shrimp no head with sausage!
Ate here for the first time. The flavor of the garlic butter was great! We got combo #2 and it was barley enough for two people. The combo came with fries, but they weren’t cooked in a timely manner so we had to wait and take them to go.The server was nice and polite.
One of the best things I've ever ordered!!!!! Often disappointed in the lack spce and flavor in MN This place is everything!!!!!!!!!
Probably my fav spot to get seafood boil from, the flavor is excellent but i will admit the sauce is a lil watery compared to other places where it is THICK. but i rather have this!!! I like going during lunch because it is obviously cheaper but also not a problem when i go any other time of the day. Also- i have seen the shrimp no deveined but a lot of places do not devein their shrimp either,,,, just close your eyes and eat LOL
So good! We got four different types of seafood for $32 along with some corn and potatoes so it was a good deal. If you like spicy, definitely a good place to eat. If you don't like spicy, I suggest going with mild. Such good flavors, I'd definitely recommend.
Food is very tasty and amazing service! one of my favorite place to hang out with friends. Highly recommended!
Staff wants to do well to impress and the space is clean and modern, but many dishes fell short of expectations. Chicken and sausage gumbo lacked much chicken, sausage or okra, and would have been thin and watery without the optional addition of rice. The biggest crawfish and green mussels I've ever seen were well-seasoned, but maybe too big to be tender and were definitely overcooked. The winner of the night was the fried oysters: good size, nicely coated and perfectly done. All-in-all, high prices made the marginal experience not a very good value.
Deliciousness! Cajun Boiling is a unique place with delicious comfort food from down Louisiana way. My southern wife thoroughly enjoyed herself with her "low country" boil, full of shrimp, crawfish, potatoes, and corn. I had it Cajun style and extra spicy fries and the kids had shrimp. It's a wonderful place with beer, wine, and cocktails.
Amazing!!
There are so many options to choose from. We ate as a group of 5, and we barely scratched the surface of what they have to offer. The seafood boil combo is an amazing deal, and there are few better ways to enjoy your company than getting covered together in butter and seafood up to your elbows.
Sidenote, order some garlic bread to soak up all of the extra flavor on the plate. Totally worth it.
I can't wait to go back!
Talk about a punch of cheesecake flavor, literally melt in your mouth goodness. On to try some food. Calamari, sea food rice and fries. Total cost for everything including tip = $27.50. Completely worth it, plus I got my 2.5 mile walk in. Atmosphere was great.
After several options our group landed here. We ordered a substantial amount of food. Reading several reviews the mildness of the spices was mentioned however that was not my experience. Having true down south cajun boils and being someone who enjoys carolina reapers I was surprised by the heat of the food. We were the only group eating in for almost 2hrs which provided a nice atmosphere however the reasoning became clear, several people did have take out during our visit. The food was excellent and the value was on par. However drinks are served in a can which means no refills and quite quickly a meal that is truly well priced becomes quite expensive when a group is eating quite spicy food. I would certainly eat here again however the lack of a proper soda machine will drive me to take out as 4 of us spent over 20 in canned beverages beyond our initial drink purchase that would normally be included at any other location in the area. Also the beverages were not consistent one member of our party ordered orange crush and later received orange fanta. The food itself was very good and the speed of its delivery was excellent. Sadly this location doesn't properly cater to dine in for several reasons. The lack of refills being one however when spending several hundred on a meal it is not common to sit at a table then return to the front to order only to pay and tip before your food even arrives. The problem with this model is your committed to a meal that may turn out awful with little to no recourse. The other issue I had was the clarity of menu. Online offerings differ and are a better value than in house in addition the quantity is not clear. An example next to crab legs it may say 4 however this is not pounds or clusters it was explained this is scoops. Scoops means nothing to me I don't know if your scooping with a soup spoon or a large wok and while I could ask to see the scoop in person I certainly couldn't ordering takeout. This makes it very difficult to gauge the proper amount of food and only gets more complicated when feeding more people. It was also frustrating that you needed a code to use the restroom which was worsened by the need to wash hands after eating a messy meal. Overall the food was 5 stars well cooked and flavorful the lady at the register who was also our server was very friendly the rest of the experience was questionable in regards to dine in. Yes I would eat here again however changes to dine in would have to happen to make my return frequent.
House sauce is nice on the shrimp. The crab cake was a complete throw away. The prices were pretty comparable, if not slightly less, than other boil places.
Although the food is tasty, I found that the quantity of the star ingredient in proportion to the other ingredients was rather lacking. I ordered the green lip mussels and got exactly 9 mussels along with 3 small potatoes and a couple of large peppers and a lot of liquid for $12.00. As far as I'm concerned, if I order mussels or anything else all I should receive are the mussels I ordered. Keep all the other stuff. For what I paid there I could get nearly 4 lbs of the same variety at Cub Foods as I will do in the future. I'll not visit this store again unless it's on someone else's dime!
I am not a seafood person, but this was AMAZING! I ordered the shrimp and catfish po boy and that was tasty. I added some hot sauce to give it a little kick. My fiance loves crab boils, and she gave it a stamp of approval. Coming from a southern native, I highly recommend this place. Also, the service was good.
After trying several Cajun places in the Twin Cities, I have to declare Cajun Boiling as the most consistent, savory, flavorful seafood boil here. If you're looking for memorable, good quality this the spot. Be sure to remember to toss/shake your bag to get the spices appropriately drenching over contents. Excellent seasoning blends, chunked garlic included, and not too oily, which is the problem in most such restaurants. Only reason for not 5 Stars is the service/personnel are a bit irritable. Prices here are same or even slightly better than other Cajun boil restaurants throughout the Metro. After trying several different spots several times over two years, I don't think I'll go anywhere but here.
This place is amazing. I found when I happened to drive by the restaurant. I lived in the south and live Cajun food. This place is Cajun meets Asian and the flavor is awesome. Get the boiled food
I ordered takeout from Cajun Boiling, so I can only comment on the food. Moving up here from the south, I thought I had missed my shot at trying a real seafood boil. Cajun Boiling is a hidden gem that doesn’t get the love it deserves for what they (literally) bring to the table! I will be back here whenever I feel like treating myself and getting a little messy!
Loved it. Went there for the first time tonight. Dined in and tried a couple of their fried baskets and some sides. Seafood was cooked to perfection and non-greasy. Sweet potato fries were crispy. Hush puppies were crazy good. They have beer and wine. Server was friendly and the interior is cute and welcoming. Already looking forward to the next visit!
First time I went here, it was phenomenal! But the last two visits, the food was sitting so heavy.. I’m not sure because of all the grease & oil, but I felt so sick that I wanted to throw up & i had to constantly burp… & every burp had an awful smell. I’ve been to many seafood boil places, but this was the first time I’ve experienced this. I haven’t came back since then.
The boil is always delicious. I get the house mix. Staff is always polite and helpful.
Super food. I'll get a step up for spice next time though and will bring friends
I am a southside local and this place is honestly so good if you’re craving a savory Cajun boil only ( I have not tried the rest of the menu) I usually get the Louisiana Cajun flavor and Garlic Butter in medium heat and then end up mixing both bags at home in their tray. I make my own white rice at home because I end up have plenty left over depending on the order I place. I get excited to treat myself with this every time. In regards of parking since it’s in a tough spot, I’d suggest parking at the church lot or the cvs parking lot across the street.
Fresh, delicious seafood. Crab, hushpuppies, catfish, shrimp, clam chowder etc were all AMAZING and SO FRESH AND PERFECT. Catfish Poboy was better than any i had in new Orleans (tried at least 4-5 different in NOLA) Beignets were even amazing - I added apricot jam to enhance. For me and partner and friend $45 + tip bought WAY more than enough food - shouldn't have listened to people who said it was overpriced/ not enough food. And if you are buying more expensive seafood, liiiiike mussels and crawfish (the things I plan to try next, because they looked INCREDIBLE), that is to be expected. I like a lot of condiments and was disappointed at options for those, luckily they weren't really needed with quality/ flavor. Can't wait to return - thank God I'm down the street.
Before I ordered I had read the comments about delivery and I almost didn’t place my order. But I’m so glade I did. My delivery was pretty quick and my food came double bagged and sealed securely. I got the lobster tail (5oz) with the corn and potato, spicy. (Extra sauce.) The lobster was well cooked. It wasn’t rubbery or too soft. Just right in the middle. The spice level was on point. (Coming from a girl who puts habanero’s in everything) I love spicy food so it was great. The only thing that I asked for that I didn’t get was an extra potato and corn. Since I had my order delivered I assume that was because they couldn’t charge me extra for it. But I would have happily paid. Will be ordering again from them soon. Thank you!
They are a little spendy but the food was great. They are not in the best neighborhood but you still have to be prideful your business and they are. the staff was prompting courteous they seem to follow all covid safety protocols. I would recommend the shrimp the onion rings is weird as that sounds and anything and everything else smells delicious the prices were a little high but fair.
Phenomenal wait staff, high quality seafood, extremely unique and family friendly experience!
First time trying a crawfish boil and it was phenomenal to say the least. The food was delicious, the service was on point and while I enjoy complaining about the prices on everything, this felt appropriate. If I was in town again, I'd most definitely consider this in my top 3 choices.
Got take out last night and I am still dreaming about it this morning. So so good! The boiling special sauce was so delicious and the seafood was fresh and plentiful! I can't wait to eat here again. Like seriously can't wait... Might get it again this weekend.
Food and service wasn't great. I got the mild Louisiana Cajun and my friend got the medium House mix. We both agreed that it just tasted like spicy butter. No one came to check on us at all. We didn't get our water refilled until we got our tab, which was the only opportunity we had to ask. There seems to be a lack of team work within the staff. Nice atmosphere though.
First time here . I got the 2 pound combo with the legs/shrimp. The house sauce was probably one of the best sauces I’ve had in a while. It was crazy busy and the staff did amazing, Especially dealing with stupid customers that don’t know how to order. Definitely coming back again. 👍 …
Great seafood! They have great $$$ saving bundles. 1lbs each of 3 different seafood you get to pick from for $35. Wow!
I'm from the south and I have not been able to find a proper cajun boil, until now! Great food, great service, highly recommended!
Friendly staff and tasty eats!
I took my family there for a bday, we were seated immediately and drink orders were taken. The food is tasty for the price, I'd recommend starting the spiciness @ medium and going hotter if needed it's plenty hot there without taking away from taste.
Service once seated was very slow, both when waiting for our order to be taken and for food/drinks to be served.
I went here for the first time last weekend. Very delicious! We ordered a lot and it was expensive but I felt it was worth it since we were celebrating. Our server was also a very nice and attentive waitress.
Minor issues were I wish they had wet hand wipes or gloves to use. Also, the restaurant wasn't the cleanest. Lastly, finding parking wasn't easy.
Definitely will come back though!
Good seafood, ordered it medium, wasn't very spicy. Shrimp mussels and crab were incredibly fresh recommend it highly. The black muscles could have been larger, still excellent.
My husband and I stopped at Cajun Boiling for s late lunch on Monday. Our server Jane, was an absolute charm! She was very well informed and was able to help us decide what to order and how much. It is quite rare these days to find such pleasant, hard working, friendly individuals such as she. We were beyond pleased with the quality and value of the food. The flavors were very balanced, the freshness of the seafood was better than that which we have had at costal restaurants. We will definitely be frequent flyers here! Thank you to Jane and the rest of the staff for the delicious food and excellent customer service.
Rochelle & Nick
I love this place. My king crab consumption has gone up exponentially since discovering it- it’s quite literally all that I ever order and I order way more frequently than I’d like to openly admit (always with the boiling special mix sauce, always fire heat level). I’m typically not the type to order the same thing twice anywhere, so this says something! It’s killer good, and a crazy good deal. Keep it up, Cajun boiling!
Loved it, been there 2 times now and both times it was excellent. My son doesn't like the boil sauce so they served his plain steamed with a side of sauce. Wife and I got medium and it was just the right amount of heat.
Amazing food. Only issue I have is that they changed the original sauce because some wimps complained about it having too much garlic and being to saucy! It baffles me that people go into restaurants and tell these people how to make their own recipes...um no! Honestly I wasn’t impressed with the new recipe and have taken business elsewhere recently. They’re getting too popular and changing too many things.
I made an online order and when I got home everything was really good but I also ordered a dessert that what really got me disappointed. I ordered a chocolate cake and when I was looking for it it want there but than I saw a white little box and inside that it was a small piece of the cake . I don't know if they put the wrong thing but it was not a cake it looked like a small cupcake or brownie and it was so small that it wasn't worth my 6.00 dollars . I was disappoint again be it was really had it felt like it was there for a couple days because I couldn't even eat it.
Cajun Boiling is a regular stop for us to get our crawfish, clams and crab fix!
A fantastic pile 'o seafood for very reasonable prices. We went on Valentine's Day and the servers kept apologizing since they were busy, but we didn't notice any lag time since we were too busy licking the garlicky, lemony, spicy goodness off our fingers. Definitely a great place for a casual night out.
Ordered from GrubHub app and it was amazing.
Fast and very good. Had the wings and shrimp. Nice delivery with plastic bags so no spilling and was just super good. Great work! Will
Order again.
Decent fried seafood. Hush puppies were great. Sweet potato fries were meh. Nice interior.
I don’t know where to start!... this place and the food has become my FAVORITE seafood place to visit. I always get the shrimp boil and it is so good to me. I’m not much into fire hot foods and I always order mild and it’s always just right for me. No killing of the taste buds or nothing! If you’re looking for some good Cajun food, this would be the place to try. I live all the way in Saint Paul and travel all the way to Minneapolis for my shrimp boiling. There isn’t a restaurant like that in saint paul. We will soon have a Cajun boiling on University and I hope the food is as good as Cajun Boiling. I tried another restaurant here called Cajun life and I didn’t like the thick substance he put on his shrimp. I will never go there again. Cajun boiling got my vote...a 5 Star restaurant and food! I love it!
This restaurant is new, and shows here and there, but the food was good, and I'll be back.
I had the Shrimp Po Boy and it was absolutely loaded with shrimp. I've had Po Boys at other restaurants that were less than half the size of the one served here. The hush puppies were tasty as well. My dining companion had the butterfly shrimp and fries... next time we will order the Cajun fries, as the regular fries are a little plain next to the rest of the food.
The restaurant itself is clean and newly renovated. The booths and tables are roomy and spread out. There were several large TVs scattered around the dining area showing sports channels.
Food was delicious as always! Staff is very friendly and helpful! The only place I get takeout seafood since long before the pandemic, love seeing my picture on the wall!
I ordered steamed rice and the jumbo shrimp and a sprite. The portion size was too small for 16 bucks and there were no condiments on my table.
When you first walk in you think you're in a Chinese restaurant because of the decor and everyone working there is Asian which kind of throws you off. But when you sit down and order the food you think you're in New Orleans. Food was amazing. Pleasantly surprised how awesome it was. If you like Cajun food, you have to check this place out!
We ordered two things. I'll start with the good one, the Catfish poor boy sandwich. The catfish was delicious. Light batter and the fish was moist but light and flaky. Unfortunately we ordered the shrimp, mussels, and crawfish 3lb combo boil first and we were very disappointed. It wasn't very hot when it came to the table, which means it likely wasn't cooked fresh. The shrimp and crawfish were kind of mushy. The mussels were pretty good. The corn was kinda chewy. In general, I was disappointed.
This is probably the best place for seafood with a spicy palate. 4 stars are because the gumbo is nothing to write home about.
Must haves are the fried soft shell crab and the pound of clams. I recommend the boiling special or house mix. They have mild, medium, spicy and fire. I am Indian and I would not venture into the fire zone.
Their seafood fried rice is a good accompaniment.
Service can be busy, but the people are earnest and nice.
Amazing atmosphere. Food is so delicious. Come hungry.
Food is fantastic but they only had 2 servers for the entire restaurant so it took a long time to get the food and request other things. Also nice variety of drinks!
I have a friend who is obsessed with crawfish. I took him here and he loved it. It reminds me of Crab Pot in Seattle but the place is less decorated and the price is much cheaper. I usually eat their Po'Boys. I think the shrimp one taste better than the catfish one.
Come here for cheap seafood with decent quality.
Food prices suddenly changed from one week to another. Food was just okay.
Food was good but the server I had was not friendly
Great environment, family friendly, nice staff. Very clean. quick service reasonably priced. FRESH food, very good. I had fried oysters, crab cake and cajun fries. The fries had NO cajun seasoning. Overall I would visit again.
also handicap accessible.
Clean restrooms
Well, being the sea food lover that I am I can say I have tried quit a few Cajun restaurants that I thought was ok but the moment I stepped into Cajun boil I knew god had opened the gates to heaven lbs this place is by fare the best Cajun seafood restaurant in Minneapolis the food was amazing the customer service was amazing the way they interact with you its they treat you like family really good place thanks for your customer service an the Delicious food i will definitely be. Back again.
10/10 one of my favorite places to get seafood in the Twin Cities. I have never been disappointed here (only when I don’t order enough). They usually have nice specials and their food ALWAYS tastes amazing. I would say this place is HEAVILY underrated.
Literally the most authentic po-boy since I lived in Baton Rouge! I have never had a decent shrimp po boy in MN until now! Minnesotans better appreciate this place because everything I’ve had has been Louisiana through and through! The Best!
The food was great. Service was awesome. Definitely be returning.
The only thing I would suggest is a hot plate, or something that will kept the food HOT ON THE TABLE, but other than that 👍👍👍 …
First visit of possible many. Food was good, service was quick & friendly. We had fried shrimp/catfish combo, calamari basket, Crab legs.
A great restaurant!!!! If you are looking for crawfish and anything Cajun this is the place to go!
Best place with affordable prices! Price is on the higher end but very good. Didnt give them 5 total stars because the boiled seafood needs more seasoning and juice and potatoes ... the potatoes probably held the most flavor.
For those who are familiar with Hot n Juicy or The Boiling Crab restaurants, this is similar. Nice to finally get good crawfish in MN. I've been to various Hot n Juicy and Boiling Crab restaurants out west and east, primarily for crawfish/shrimp. This restaurant is very comparable in terms of flavor if you get the combo sauce. You won't be disappointed. The spice level is accurate which is nice. Highest spice level is actually pretty spicy. 3 star only because it's 15$ per pound for live crawfish (a few dollars cheaper for frozen). That's what we get for living in MN. To put it in perspective, that's equivalent to a quality rib eye steak! Tab for the 2 of us came out to around 95$. 3 lbs crawfish, 1 lb shrimp, calamari app, and 3 beers. We'll be back, just not for a while.
They make great seafood. One thing I will say, is I visited this place 5 times since the first time I been there, and I've had several people of color tell me that they we're treated with disrespect. I have not witnessed that behavior until today. I brought my boyfriend here today for his first visit, and the same lady who always helps me everytime I come, decided to put gloves on when she serviced my boyfirend. She didn't want to touch my or his hand. She didnt want to give him two glasses of water either. This is a very tasty place but the customers make the business's money, its what brings makes the business run. What is going on here. I recommend people of color having a visit, come back and leave your comments. The taste si worth it, but the service is WHAT MATTERS. WILL I be back??
Pretty good and a hint of spicy. I got the mild spice and it was good. Mu mom really enjoyed it and she loved the sauce!
I'm lucky enough to work with Cajun Boiling for my job. The owner is very kind and hard-working. I've tried the calamari and liked it! If you like seafood/southern cuisine, give Cajun Boiling a chance.
Service could be better but the food makes up for it. One and a half pound of shrimp usually does it for me. Crawfish is also delish.
I had this for my graduation party and it was AMAZING Imma order it again for New Years and I hope you guys will make it just as good as before 😁 keep up the good work …
My bestie took me to this place yesterday and it was my first time. It was delicious!! But downfall was we got there at 945... And at 11, they came to us and said "its 1100, and were closed"... Like seriously?! Have some manners and please let us finish our food...
The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because in one serving of the choose-your-own boil there was one potato and 2 pieces of corn. Otherwise, it was really good, and my order came up fast!
Hidden Gem!
The food was great and the service was also amazing!
Absolutely recommend if your around the area and want some boil.
Was pretty good for the price of the combos you can buy. Definitely isn’t no authentic southern Cajun, but still decent.
We love this place! The service is always stellar and their seafood combo is incredible and also a ton of food (it would def feed three hungry people, maybe even four)!
Delicious food, quick very friendly service. Even the bathrooms are clean. Cajun Boiling gives excellent value and they always seem genuinely happy you're there. I love this place!
Good food, fair price and friendly service. I asked for suggestions and both the server and manager, where extremely helpful. I wouldn't suggest the deep fried clams, not my thing.
Food and sauce was great... you can actually see all the seasons in garlic pieces and the sauce What I love about this place is that if their Crab claws are on the smarter side they will give you an extra which is very nice little price tho on some items.. And it all depends on what your money is like lol... But it's good... And will be back
Good seafood, service was also good! Would love to visit again.
Nice setting, good service, great food!
Really good, for a place in Minnesota to have fresh crawfish is rare if any and it was delicious, Medium was a perfect heat. Found my go to spot when I crave crawfish and am not in new orleans which I usually am a few times a year.
This is another one of those places that has a ton of potential. It's not that they don't live up to it, it's that it seems niche enough that people are overall unaware of how good it really is.
My one complaint is that they don't really have much by means of "so spicy it keeps you awake at night" sauces. They could really improve on that.
The shrimp is delicious...but they never gave tartar sauce..only cocktail...so make sure u asked for tater
Great food. Great service. Very casual. Crab legs and shrimp were as good as I've had anywhere.
First time there and I was highly impressed ,the seafood and sauces were outstanding and it was worth every penny !!!!!! I can't wait to go back 😁 …
This can be a hit and miss. The first time I went the sauce was good. I went again two weeks ago and the sauce was soooo water down. 😔 …
Amazing seafood! The size of our mussels were very small, but the prices are so great, you can't really complain.
The food was great! The service was great and the price was good. I enjoyed my visit a lot... I WILL BE BACK SOON!
Love the place their customer service is getting alot better. I've been here a handful of times and it's just a better experience and the seafood is great!
Good quality, reasonably priced, nice staff. Mon-Fri 11am-3pm lunch specials are priced to sell, worth the midday trip.
This was one of the greatest dining experiences of my life!!! New favorite restaurant for sure. Will be back 10/10
Seriously good food and service. The fountain pop is not good.
We placed an order for pick up. The process was quick and easy. Staff was friendly. Food was great!
The catfish is seasoned well. The crawfish is excellent. The best time to go is always after 4PM!
Delicious. Was very surprised and delighted to find a decent tasting crawfish boil in Minneapolis. Definitely coming back. Definitely recommend
The beignets were super classic and yummy. Chicken was crispy & juicy. Quick service.
I love this place. Good, messy seafood. Pricing is reasonable for what you're getting and the sauces are all spectacular.
So many good things to say . This was my first time & it was amazing food is great customer service is great all the way down to the music they play it’s all great ! Totally worth it
Great food. If you're looking for great Southern Cajon cooking but don't want the long drive, this is the place to go.
AMAZING!!!! SO HAPPY WE TRIED THIS PLACE. Highly recommend choosing the house special seasoning and medium heat. You won't be disappointed.
Happy hour mussels in garlic butter and Cajun chicken were awesome and so well priced. Highly recommend.
Could've been better seasoning Gumbo had more okra than anything else in dish. Let's do better Cajun Boiling
Food was really good. Great portion size. The Gumbo was the only thing that wasn't good.
A great was to get a flavorful seafood boil right here in the heart of Minnesota while the snow flies.
One of my favorite places for seafood. Close by and great quality food
I was born and raised in Houma, Louisiana, Terrebonne Parish, and this is legit. Their food tastes so authentic. It's like briefly being back home 😉❤ …
I really enjoy this type of cuisine, shellfish boiled in cajun spices. Just remember that if it's not summer the crawfish are out of season and not that great, not their fault, just how it is.
Always good food, good service and made just the way you like. Hands down love the experience.
Delicious, and fast friendly service. I drove 2 hrs, well worth it, I highly recommend it
Great food great service. Just be aware, when they say spicy they mean spicy. I'll definitely be back
Very pricey but can't beat the flavor in the food! If I could afford it I would eat here every day
cant believe someone would complain about being told the place was closed after being there for over an hour. clearly someone has never worked in that setting and doesnt understand how bad it is at closing time.
Great food!!! Will be eating there again for sure!!!!
food was amazing and prices are not bad ..it seems to be kid friendly ...the staff that took our order seems to be drinking on the job👀😂 …
I enjoyed C1 with mild house special. Sooooo much freakin flavor !!! Staff was super kind. Will be back ASAP haha
#1 best cajun boil in Minneapolis house special flavor is the best extra spicy.
