No frills cafe for tasty brunch. Portion was really small but taste was really good. We sat on the patio and really enjoyed our quiet Saturday morning brunch. I won’t drive across town to have food here, but definitely a great option if you are in the neighborhood

Cafe Racer is a favorite of ours. The food is amazing and the prices are good. The staff is kind and low-key. Their patio is somewhat unique; they have a really lovely landscaped surround with tables under tall shade trees. It's like a slightly secret garden, where you're just hidden from the street.
Can't recommend enough.

Go to Cafe Racer for brunch - trust me, just do it! Nestled in a quaint neighborhood, Cafe Racer serves up tasty meals that always leave me satisfied. I love their benedicts, and the veggie hash is always well-seasoned. Sitting on the rustic patio for brunch with friends sparks true joy. I love this place!

This place is an absolute gem! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu but my personal favorites are the braised pulled pork, arepa criolla, yuca frita, and sweet plantains. The cilantro aioli sauce is extremely addictive so it's not a bad idea to add a half pint of it if you are getting a large order.

Came here for brunch and it was SO good. Best cold brew I’ve had as well. Definitely coming back!!

Breakfast menu was diverse. Food itself was fine, not bad but not amazing. Service was quick and friendly. Outdoor seating is nice for the warmer months.

A comfy, unique, but bustling cafe/bar & eatery nestled in a quaint neighborhood with substantial indoor and outdoor seating.
Their alcoholic choices seemed popular with others, but I had an iced latte which was delicious. As was my entree, which was pulled chicken & some delicious sides prepared in a Latin American food-truck style. The price to portion could’ve been better, but the food tasted fresh and pretty filling!
Plus, the service from the two workers there on the evening of 08/04 were really awesome.
Overall a great experience, I recommend stopping here for brunch, lunch, or dinner!

Wow. This place is amazing! We ordered a whole bunch of vegan stuff and it was all so delicious. The flavors are excellent; everything is clearly made with love, attention to detail, and quality ingredients. The service was genuine and friendly, outside seating was perfect, and our fam of three loved everything! Cafe Racer does a lot of good for the community too. Thank you for creating this space and for making such yummy food. We can't wait to come back!

The pulled pork is great; if you like hot sauce in any way make sure to ask for some with your meal. If you're a sauce fan, order extra of the aioli with the fried yucca.

Unexpected gem! Food was awesome. Menu is a bit different which is why we wanted to try this place. It's only 5 mins from the UofMN Fairview Hospital so was perfect place to go while waiting for a patient there. It's in a residential neighborhood that's quiet. Due to covid they only have outdoor seating right now, but there's a canopy type garden that looks almost enchanting for additional seating. Cocktail selection is good, I wasn't familiar with any of the beers but I was given a great recommendation. We only had interaction with one person who takes your order inside and then bring tour food too. It's a small, quaint place that serves up fresh delicious food and drinks! So glad we went out of our comfort zone! If I'm back in the area, will absolutely come here again!
