MN2022: Last year, as hard as we tried, we couldn't get a reservation for a party of five. Not unless we wanted to eat really late in the evening. Having said that, this trip our niece booked well in advance. We were not disappointed. The space, the service and the food were all excellent. We are definitely looking forward to dining here on our next visit.

Dined here with my BF for a special date night. Ambience was very romantic and cozy. Service was amazing, our waitress was super friendly and attentive. Food was delicious! Love that it’s right across Loring Park, makes for great views as you’re enjoying your meal. Will definitely come back for another special occasion!

Great vibe, nice service, friendly with good food and nice drinks. Lovely place for an upscale dining experience. Some vegetarian options and a nice locally sourced cheese platter I'd recommend. They were also friendly and accommodating to a very well behaved 4 year old!

I went here with my fiancée after I proposed to her. We are both fine dining enthusiasts and she is a former professional pastry chef. My reservation had a brief note detailing the special circumstances, and they read it. They placed us by the window and the service was impeccable the whole time. The food was wonderful - we got a salad, bread course, entree, and 3 desserts and all the mocktails on the menu. It was well worth the bill, and was quite simply the finest dining experience of my life.

Amazing ambiance. This is a great restaurant for a date, with a very lounge-like feel. In the summer, they have a Parisian alley-esque outdoor eating area. The food is very good too, especially the cauliflower.

Romantic and elegant restaurant to go at least once or twice to see both sides . I was seated by the main kitchen which was very dim lit setting. It was nice to see the kitchen and how they prepare and get ready. My waitress seemed very tired though but that's to be expected it was a busy day. I came here with restaurant week and ordered a few things which was all good just forgot the names. Yes I will come here again and asked to be sitted in the other side with the black/white floor tile. Not alot of parking is here so arrive early and it gets pretty busy during dinner as this is a popular place so again arrive early.

Went here for our anniversary. Hadn't been in many years. Disappointed the alley patio is not yet open but that was explained as a shortage of staff ( a problem all over apparently). Indoors was cool with the air but we opted to eat out on front patio. Server was helpful with wine and food selections. My husband had the pasta entree and I had the roasted chicken. Both were excellent. An octopus starter was very tasty, the sauce was particularly good with a roasted lemon squeezed overall. Wines were well matched to our food selections. Dessert was sublime, we chose the roasted pear with something like creamy ice cream and the chocolate cake with cherries. Expensive night out but worth it for our special occasion.

A luxurious and elegant experience. The miso cod was absolutely incredible. The blackberry gin cocktail... exquisite. I would highly recommend Café Lurcat.

This place is a bit off the beaten tracks and has great food. The steaks here are always amazing, I tend to order them with their fantastic fries and sauce béarnaise. Good wine selection. Seating is comfortable in a tropically decorated interior setting. One of my favorites in the twin cities.
