Reviews of Busters on 28th Avenue
My husband’s favorite burger in the twin cities is at Busters! Classic pub burger with shredded lettuce, huge patty, and soft bun. Kids meals are huge (seriously- they look the same as adult meals!). I like the sandwiches- they make a mean Reuben and steak sandwich. They have a kids eat free night that is pretty amazing. Service is great, beer menu extensive.
Definitely come here I tried the walleye Rochelle sandwich and had some beer battered onion rings. It was outstanding. You know when you can’t put the food down because it taste so good and not because it’s messy it’s a good experience. It was so neat I think owner chef came over and took my order and he was so polite and knowledgeable about the menu. This was my first time and I eat out a lot across the United States and this place satisfied my taste buds I would eat here again and again. Thanks busters for tickling my taste buds.
Stopped here for dinner while visiting. He said we would not be disappointed and we were not! Great selection of beer and even better appetizers. We got the pretzels and onion rings. I’m normally not a fan of onion rings but they were perfect. Our sandwiches were great and the fries were as well. A big debate at the table was if the ketchup is regular store bought or house made, because it was excellent. Can’t recommend this place enough!
Do you like to try new beers but also like a challenge picking beers because a place has a massive tap list?
Do you also like amazing food?
Then look no further. Buster's on 28th should be your next stop. Service was incredible, even in this climate where the service industry staffing has been decimated. Food (walleye rachel & BBQ pork sandwhich w/ sweet potato fries and house made chips) - all was incredible.
Live in the north metro and don't venture below the MPLS/St. Paul line too often - but for this place, we certainly will be more than eager to take that drive.
We joined another couple at Buster's last night. We hadn't been there in a year or so...our kids stopped frequenting the place because inside high-top tables are hard for toddlers. I didn't go inside last night but I can say that we were all happy with the patio makeover and our grandkids would do just fine out there too. It all looks just a bit more upscale, more organized and separate from the sidewalk, more tables! We had a terrific meal of steak fajita, the Buster salad (huge and splittable) and an order of their fantastic sweet potato fries. We were all impressed with the quality of the steak used in the fajitas...it was so tender and flavorful. Plenty of kick in the spices and accompanied by a grilled ear of corn rolled in finely grated cheese. Everything was really tasty, good wines available and a great beer list for my hubby. Very friendly, hard working servers too. We will definitely go back!!!
Wanted to try this DDD restaurant for a long time. It was worth the trip!! Hamburgers were excellent!!!
Busters is such an amazing gem!
The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and friendly. The food is seriously some of the best in the whole city! Seriously. Everything is always done perfectly. We came in Christmas Eve and had the best food and service.
On our annual girls trip, researched Triple D restaurants. Menu looked promising, but service was sub-par. Our server was not very friendly, she totally botched my friend's order (like completely wrong sandwich) and when she got her sandwich it was disgusting looking. Undercooked bacon, over cooked waffle that was tasteless, cheese that looked like plastic, and a greasy chicken breast. I had the beer braised beef that was highlighted on Triple D and it was average. The onion rings were so greasy I couldn't eat them. Our server never checked on us while eating and avoided asking how everything was. For all the hype Buster's once had, I do not recommend. The best thing was the hot chips appetizer.
I had the buster burger and my girlfriend had the fajitas. Excellent and delicious. Service was very quick I think our food came in about 10 minutes. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Thanks buster's!
Unfortunately I did not take picture but it was great. The food was good and flavorful. The portions...OMG. my granddaughter got a children's grilled cheese and it was like 2 meals. We will definitely return 👏🏼👍🏽
Got there to catch the last bit of a Vikings game and grab a quick bite. I had a Spicy Burger with Elote, my dad had the CCC Burger and Coleslaw. Both completely filled with portions and had great service from the waitress! Really wanna comeback and enjoy the patio when its nice out!!
Stopped in for burgers and beers on our way to the airport. Discovered a cozy neighborhood pub with an extensive tap list. Service was fast despite the place being busy on a Saturday evening, the staff was hustling but still very friendly. Putting this on the list of places to return to!
Interesting food with some unique flavors. On the pricier side.
Came by again this morning, for brunch. We have been here 4 maybe 5 times in the last few months for brunch. Today I had the Huevos Rancheros, doll had the Corned Beef Hash. The Huevos Rancheros were incredibly good! Such a great mix of flavors with just a hint of heat. Doll had never had the Corned Beef Hash before and loved it. Tender Corned Beef, Sauerkraut, swiss cheese, and some extra greens that doll asked for. Great coffee, don't know the roaster. And great staff, everyone we have interacted with has been spot on with the knowledge of the menu and just seems like a really nice person. I think we have run through the entire brunch menu, need to start on the dinner menu!
Decent neighborhood joint. Great burgers and wings. Beer and wine only. Go early as it gets really crowded at dinner. Service was mediocre. Would have given another star had the service been better.
Came here on Friday for the all-you-can-eat fried fish. The special is $15.95 for the fish dinner on Fridays through Lent. The fish was good and came with fries and cole slaw. I ordered a gluten free flatbread that was really good. The chef knows how to prepare gluten free items and offers options for gluten free eating. The fries are hand cut and cole slaw made from scratch. Very tasty dinner indeed. A decent local cider and beer selection.
Parking is tough, on street. Get here early or plan to wait. We arrived at 5pm and had no trouble. By the time we left there was a wait.
We first heard of this place on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. First impression: Old school pub style with a great beer selection. I'm a big fan of craft beer and they have a little bit of everything, from Stout to IPA. The food was tasty and fresh. Service was friendly, quick, and efficient. Establishment as a whole was clean and well kept. We'll be back!
My burger was pink as I ordered which I do not receive often. I'd add a little salt to the beef that's the only criticism. Calamari wad a bit salty at times however the sauce helped mask it. My date ordered medium rare but got medium instead for his steak sandwich but it was still extremely tender. He described it as "delectable." Didn't save room for desert but the mini donuts with creme sounded appetizing.
Place is recommended.
Amazing staff. Quick and delicious food. Taps constantly change, so find a pint you like or ask your bartender or server for a recommendation, they can pinpoint where you should go based on your tastes.
Had an amazing dining experience here. Even though the day we went there was a slight wait for tables, we hopped up at the bar and the bartender was a hoot! Very nice, personable, and quick to help.
Food was delicious, the staff was nice and helpful, and I loved the atmosphere. The place can seem small, but it has a certain personality to it. Worth a stop!
Very nice atmosphere great food 🎉 a family neighborhood eatery 🎊 & there's a bakery on the corner with a 🐄 🐮 🐄 …
We ate here and was it delicious! By far best steak sandwiches & beer selection. 😋 Plus my bf seen it was on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives. ☺️ …
Our lunch was hot and delish. No waiting in line for a table and our waitress Sophia. She waited on us as soon as we sat down, great service.
She had our drinks and our food came out hot.
Service has always been wonderful. Never had an issue with their food (which always comes out fast) and the rotating beer menu is perfect. The cheese curds melt in your mouth.
Small place but that makes it all the more cozy limited menu but not a bad thing parking is a challenge but its Minneapolis
I really enjoy this little bar! They have awesome soft pretzels with beer cheese dip on the side. Their house made chips and french onion dip is great with a cold beer. My only complaint is that they do not have happy hour specials for food, only beer. Otherwise great spot!
Flavorful food, nice atmosphere! All three dishes our group ordered were tasty - a good quality meal.
Amazing beer selection and staff. If you don't know what you want they probably do. Use your beer to wash down the home made potato chips. Better than any fries in town.
Walleye Rachel with Elote was absolutely delicious. Cheese Curds were also very good!
Brisket Sandwich was Outstanding - Some of the Best Fries I've Had! Pub type feel Inside - Really Good Triple DDD Joint
This place is great! They are so SO fast with their food, and it's always right on time and really good. Love that they have some vegan options too, that's not common in a tavern like this one. We live nearby and go here all the time, highly recommend paying it a visit.
Food is Amazing. Would be 5 stars if they weren't understaffed....may have just been the one night, but there was one server in the whole space who was also doing bartending. Even so, she was good at keeping our water glasses full, food was not delayed or cold & she was friendly/efficient. Only delay was long wait getting our check. WILL Return!
We had brisket and steak sandwiches, they were awesome. Wished I lived closer.
This place was on Triple D. That is why I tried them. Had the walleye sandwich with the apple slaw. Definitely worth the trip.
Wonderful staff, great food! A local staple! Kind of a dive bar but not as dark inside and more family friendly
Great food and great service!
Good food made from scratch with a great beer selection. Nice neighborhood place with beautiful woodwork. Steak sandwich is delicious. Staff is always friendly.
probably the best Mushroom & Swiss Burger I ever had. helpful Bartenders knowledgeable on ample beer selections.
They currently have cider beer on tap. Friday night fish fry. (90 minute limit on your visit.)
Great atmosphere, great service, great food. Get the triple C burger it's fantastic!
Upon entry to this warmly lit little place, all your senses come to life. There is a warmth to the scent of the building, music on that wraps itself around you. Greeted cheerfully and seated in one of their quiet booths is a must. Go outside your usual palette and trust all the combinations of texture and flavor they have crafted. A basil/mint hard cider pairs Incredible with a bbq pork sandwich. Homemade ranch or ketchup both compliment the fries. My soul needed this setting today. Waitstaff so kind and helpful too. I wish there was a Busters where I live! Thank you, Minneapolis for this little treasure!!
The best gluten free fish sandwich of my life.
So glad to visit Buster's again and enjoy their great food, cold beer and excellent service. We always start with the potato chips. My husband loves the beer braised beef sandwich; he never wants anything else. This time I tried the vegan Banh mi with their wonderful slaw. I am not a practicing vegan and found the sandwich to be very satisfying, and full of flavor. Looking forward to our next visit.
Food was great as always.
CCC burger all the way!
Busters is a favorite of mine, especially the burger with Texas toast. The service is great!
Really good food and great drink choices. Good service as well
You cannot go wrong. Best taps in town. Solid menu for years. Wonderful staff with what seems like little turnover. Great cozy atmosphere. Best booths. Cheers-esk bar but smaller. Sandwiched between two other awesome local businesses. Our neighborhood favorite for ten years now.
Cute place with a fantastic beer and cider selection! Love the vibe and music of this place.
Ordered for pick up. The food was delicious and pick up was very efficient and accurate. Highly recommend the pretzels. They were so delicious, I didn't even need to sauce. All of the sandwiches I have had here have had a ton of flavor and high quality ingredients.
Great beer list, great pub food, great vibe!
Good food and good prices. Made from scratch sauces and good bar food. If you want something heavy and good, this is for you.
Just moved to the area and stopped by for lunch a couple days ago while working on the new house. Super fair prices, especially for the area, food came out fast, fries were delicious and the Walleye Rachel is now in my top 5 favorite sandwiches. The beer selection has some decent variety as well. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick bite.
Simply the best. No discussion. Moved to Phoenix from Minneapolis a few years ago and I miss this place more than my mother
This is my neighborhood place, but even if it wasn't I'd go out of my way to come here. The burgers are great. I love the Chipotle cream cheese (add it to every meal)... the beers on tap are numerous and various and genuinely not your run of the mill selection, though they do have their few regulars. All around Buster's fulfills your palate's demand!
It's a fine bar with decent tap list. My service wasn't spectacular and this place has no hard liquor, just wine and beer. I haven't eaten anything here, but I'd go back sometime and try it.
Cozy and local, Buster’s on 28th is really a good bar and grill. I ordered a BBQ Burger with Cole Slaw and found it one of the better burgers I have enjoyed recently. Marita ordered their Buster Burger and she said it too was great. Our table also shared the curds, fries and wings. We will return on motorcycles soon.
Not bad. I was expecting more burger options, though. But the appetizer menu was huge. Ended up having the beef brisket sandwich and fries - really good. Also got some wings and onion rings to start - also really good. The onion rings are battered, and not overly greasy. They also have outdoor seating which is in the shade in the late afternoon/early evening, which is nice.
Didn't know anything about the place when I came in, but immediately fell in love with the food and atmosphere.
The waiter was super friendly and helpful. My dad ordered a cup of soup and a burger separately, and the waiter suggested to get it as a side (as it was the same size). I got the Buster Buyer with a side of onion rings. The onion rings were light and crispy, the burger was juicy and the 10K lake sauce was a great complimentary to the burger.
This place is definitely a hidden jewel, and I would definitely come back if I'm ever back in town.
Been going for years. Always good service and it's great to see the same faces all the time. Food is excellent. Wish there were more vegetarian options, but that's my only complaint.
The best crab cakes I have ever had, not fishy, not greasy...full of flavor with a lemon cream sauce and greens on top. I also love their tuna sandwich, huge cut of tuna medium rare, house cut fries. Decent beer selection, 3.50 bells two hearted and 2 bucks off MN beers while I was there. Service was fast. I've only been on the patio because I brought my dog. The patio is very very small with 1/2 of it being a bench and 1/2 of the seating super uncomfortable cafe style folding chairs. It was difficult for the server to maneuver around the seating. Very cramped. We ate (which was very good) but did not stay for more beer because it was so uncomfortable and my back hurts from sitting on that chair.
Food is always excellent, with much of it being fully made in-house. Beer list is big and eclectic, featuring a preference for local craft.
Very crowded but very good food. My beef brisket was very tasty. The onion rings and cheese curds were one of the best I have had. My son's bison burger was very juicy and really good. Their Cole slaw was exceptional loved the chunks of apples.
Came here on a recommendation and ordered a lot of food to take out. The sandwiches were good, but all the sides were over salted. I love salt so for me to say this is a big deal. The fries, chips and even the cheese curds were inedible. The soft pretzels said they came with beer cheese but they came with mustard. The wings were over cooked too. Maybe it was a new chef or an off day. Idk but we were disappointed.
Always great food! And Mini donuts for dessert, couldn't ask for anything more.
Cubano was great. They were out of soup and I was disappointed. Service was barely ok. Luckily food is good.
Nice atmosphere and great location. I am vegan, so my options were slightly limited, but they were well identified on the menu. The chips were a bit thick for my taste, but the salsa was very tasty. The vegan burger was well cooked and the bun was excellent. The fries were undersalted for my taste, but had a good crisp. My omnivore companions overall enjoyed their meal. They especially enjoyed the cheese curds.
This is my go to spot when I'm in the area. Most recently, that was Mayday. The staff was super amazing about making space for the amount of people in our group. I love the fresh menu that changes often, with the steadfast veggie burger I order all winter remaining year-round. Vast beer selection and knowledge staff. My fave for awhile now.
The food was great and our waiter was awesome. The Chipotle cream cheese beef sandwich and the homemade coleslaw was so yummy.
Best damn walleye sandwich ever. And Hamms on tap!
Had seen this restaurant on Triple D and it was well worth the drive. Neighborhood restaurant serving excellent food. Went during non peak time and was seated immediately. Bison burger was cooked to perfection and the calamari appetizer was the best we have had in a while.
One of our favorite neighborhood spots. Both my husband and I order the same thing every time- bison burger with sweet potato fries and a hard cider. We should probably branch out, but that combination is so good it's hard to resist. Cozy booths, good service, and chill atmosphere- usually quiet enough to have a good conversation without having to shout to be heard.
The service was great. The Steak sandwich and home cut fries were excellent. There were a number of options that look really good on the menu. I will definitely be back.
Stopped in for lunch. We're had eaten here several years ago when in town. Today we enjoyed the Birdie Melt sandwich on sourdough. The sweet potato fries were fresh and had a nice crispy texture. Excellent service. We will be back!
Great beer selection and solid burger options.
Don't overlook their hand cut potato chips, their halfway between a french fry and what chips are normally. The result is surprisingly delicious.
It can get pretty noisy inside when it's busy.
We had a party of 12 so the wait was quite long day for probably an hour hour and a half but we originally gave them the wrong amount of people. The appetizers are amazing beer selection is amazing and the food is amazing for only having sandwiches burgers salads and soups really this place will blow your socks off. I had the beer braised beef and it will not disappoint.
So good. A good amount to pick from on the menu. I had the Cubona was so good. The menu said hot mustard but it was not spicy to me. But very tasty. The handcut fries are so delicious. My daughter had the pulled pork sandwich. The smoke taste was super/extremely strong. So the smoke taste makes it so rich it makes it hard to finish the whole thing. Service was good. Not a very big place and it has great character and comfortable.
Buster's has a great beer menu with all of the classics, in style, and popular beers. I had a delicious Bells NE IPA. Their menu of burgers, sandwiches, flat bread, and apps has a good selection without being overwhelming. Great place and I'll be back again
Buster's was one of my favorite South Mpls spots until they updated their menu and removed the chipotle chicken sandwich - it was fantastic. Still a great place for good beer as they have a variety of rotating taps. I also enjoy the Buster's wings and their steak sandwich.
Solid beer selection and bar food. I think I actually like the food more and more every time I stop here. They have a wide variety of sandwiches, appetizers, flatbreads, burgers, etc. The fries are really tasty (hand cut I think), their burgers are always satisfying, I had some great wings last time, and their flatbreads are great! During Lent they do Friday fish fries, which I've heard are amazing. They have weekend brunch, but I haven't tried it yet. Also, they had a patio area open during the summer. It's a good spot for bicyclist to stop and have a beer!
Buster's reminds me of a shot gun house: narrow and deep. A great selection of craft beers with a very good menu of interesting foods.
I don't know of a time when I have been to Buster's when it was NOT busy with a short wait to be seated. Ordering was fast and service just as fast. Don't expect a cozy, quiet, intimate experience. It's too tight and too loud for that.
All in all: good beer, good service, good food, good atmosphere. One of those places you hope stays around for a long, long time.
The food is amazing! I love this place! Great beer! Great service! I had a bison burger with sweet potato fries; cooked to perfection. Great service! I will be back for trivia on Tuesday nights. Thanks Erin! Cheers! Great first impression.
Impressive vegetarian-friendly menu! I had a veggie burger made from squash, sweet potato, wild rice, and currants, with added mushrooms and a side beet salad. It was all flavorful and substantial without feeling biggest down with grease or dressings. Which was good because we had a few rounds of excellent Minnesota beers as well. Add in a swift round of trivia, and we all left feeling great. The staff were friendly and attentive to boot.
My boyfriend and I shared the buffalo wings with blue cheese sauce and the steak and blue cheese sandwich. We both agreed the food was outstanding, but particularly the house-made buffalo sauce on the wings. We're buffalo sauce aficionados and we get buffalo chicken pretty much everywhere we go. This was hands down the best buffalo sauce either of us had ever had.
Our server was also wonderfully patient and accommodating to out-of-towners like ourselves who had lots of questions about the menu and also wanted to take the time to look over all of our options. He also made personal beer recommendations and brought over samples for us to taste. We visited on Christmas Eve to top it off, and everyone working seemed happy to be there, even on the holiday.
10/10 would eat/drink again.
Last time I went, I just ate a sandwich, but back when I was drinking, I enjoyed meeting friends here. Their beer list is so big, we played a game: You order your friend a beer, so they can't hear what it is, and they have to guess what it was based on the descriptions.
They also have trivia once a week, I think on Tuesdays. Great little neighborhood bar!
What a great place! I travel to MSP frequently and was introduced to this restaurant. Very casual with approximately 18 different beers on tap and quite a few more in bottles. While the beer selection was very good, the food was awesome! I had their steak sandwich which included sirloin, bacon, carmelized onions, blue cheese on a butter toasted bun. I'll be back!
This place is the perfect bar. Its clean, comfortable and has an ideal tap beer selection. The beers are rotated weekly. John might be the best bartender I've ever encountered. His beer knowledge is unparalleled. Highly, highly recommend this joint.
Buster's is a great place to get a drink and some good food. Their steak sandwich is delicious and upscale without trying too hard. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. Great for dine in or take out.
Best food around. Small neighborhood bar and restaurant. Dark wood booths inside plus high top tables and outdoor seating on the patio. The cheese curds are with the visit alone. Burgers, salads all entrees are delicious. Moderate pricing.
Amazing neighborhood spot! Staff is very friendly, food is very good. We like the steak sandwich, chicken sandwich, chicken fritters, salmon sandwich, and the big beer selection!
Buster's does everything right. Their food is delicious and they do the little things that make the food great (homemade sauces, fries, onion rings, etc.). On top of that, a great beer list and wait staff. Will definitely be back.
I've eaten here multiple times in the past and the food is always great. The servers were always available if we needed anything. Buster's always has a ton of good beer on tap. You have to try the Buster's Wings when you go.
Steak Sandwich was incredible and the beer selection, both on tap and in bottles is amazing. Fast friendly service. You can't go wrong here.
Unlike most people I went before it was crazy busy. Got a seat as soon as we walked in. Our server was kinda goofy but nice and knowledgeable. The food took 10mins and was exceptional exceeded my expectations. For the size of food you get the price wasn't bad. 1/2lb burgers can't go wrong. Much better then the over rated Nook. Check this place out, but if you go later in the evening you will not get seated promptly!
My compadre told me to meet him there...... 🤯 they have this raspberry something beer 🍺 that was insane great smooth beer and the burger way better then in n out burgers it is .. no words to describe it but yummy 🍔 …
Their Bleu Cheese Dressing is REALLY GOOD! I do NOT care for Bleu Cheese Dressing...but thus was amazing on my Steak sandwhich!!
The beer braised beef was very fatty. Tough to pick through. Salad was good.
Service was fast, but not friendly. I would return to try the pork. Thanks
I'm really glad we stumbled onto this place! We were hungry, jet-lagged, and looking for a late meal. I was afraid Buster's was going to be more bar than restaurant -- onion rings and wings, and little else. But oh wow, was the food great. Nice little kids menu, too!
We had a burger, a Cubano sandwich, and a Caesar salad. I have no idea what sneaky things they do to their Caesars, but DAMN. Delicious. The Cubano was the size of a normal sandwich but somehow stuffed me so full, I had to bring a third of it home. And the fries ... I have a thing for made-from-scratch fries, with no gimmicky, lazy coatings on them, and these were perfect. I only wish I'd had room for dessert.
I go to Busters frequently. Always a new selection of craft beer available, and the menu is solid (although it could rotate a little more often). Top items include buffalo wings, calamari, the buster burger (get the cream cheese on it) and the braised beef sandwich. Also, the side salad is a good choice if you aren't in the mood for delicious fresh cut fries. Breakfast is good and reasonably priced. The steak Benedict is awesome.
Great staff, good grub, fun atmosphere! Lots of high quality taps - worth a stop
Saw this place on Triple D and had to try it and let me say they did not disappoint. If you're in the Minneapolis area definitely put this on your list to eat at.
Awesome beer selection!
The mussels appetizer was very good.
First time here, I had the pizza it was great. But now they have gone to a thick doughy crust? Not so much
It was basically good. Maybe slightly more upscale than your average south Minneapolis neighborhood bar, with a decent menu for a pub, but nothing special. What IS special is the draft beer menu. Yes, they have faux beers for weenies, but they also have 20 or 30 really good craft beers on tap. Definitely with a trip of you like good beer.
Buster's is a great little place. The cheese curds were a great app to start. The cranberry mustard that comes with them was amazing. I had the Bison Burger and my wife had the Walleye Rachel. Both were incredible and we will definitely be returning to explore more of the menu.
Went for a late Saturday afternoon lunch. Fairly quiet at that time of day. Had the best walleye sandwich I've ever had ... Hands down. Service was wonderful and prices reasonable. We're coming back soon!
We went to Buster’s for a Darkest Nights, Darkest Beers event. Had a flight of six yummy stouts from Bell’s Brewing—the cherry was especially good. Also enjoyed the spinach salad with poached pear (already vegetarian, hold the goat’s cheese for vegans), the deep fried peanut butter and (fig) Jelly sandwich, and the homemade potato chip. Really, though, have just beer and potato chips. They were incredible.
We have been on a burger journey for years! This place is in my top 3! And we've begun to dozens! Great food, nice service, wonderful beer, ok wine.
Cozy, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Food is great menu is always getting tweaked. Excellent and we'll curated beer list. They also host many special beer events. Good neighborhood gem.
I only had a burger here, but it was a good burger, cooked the way I asked. The staff were pleasant and the service was good and even proactive on occasion. A nice, friendly neighborhood bar vibe rounds out the experience.
Went for Tuesday night Trivia Mafia from 8-10. They had $2 off Indeed beers during trivia which was great. Ordered the Cheese Curds and Beer Braised Beef Sandwich. Both were very tasty. The sandwich had a nice subtle kick to it.
This place was pretty good but I felt like it was a little over-hyped. I mean, the food was quite good, but the overall place was pretty divey, and also they didn't have hard liquor when all I wanted was a good bloody. We tried the food that was featured on triple D, and those dishes were fairly good but not amazing. Overall a solid place. Service was great.
Cozy bar with good food. Patio has about six tables, but nothing spectacular. All of our food was consistent and service was great. Cheese curds were particularly nummy. Also an smoke average beer selection is that's your thing.
I had seen Buster’s on 28th on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, so I thought I would try it out. I had driven by it a ton of times but never stopped.
The ambience is a lot like many other neighborhood bars, but I liked it better. It was spotless and shiny clean, with booths, high tables, and a bar. There were a couple TVs on the wall, on sports channels, but the sound was way down, so it was still easy to have a conversation. Ditto with the background music.
My waitress was young and friendly with a big smile and nicely attentive. She brought my beer promptly as well as taking my food order quickly.
The tap beer list was insanely long. If you can’t find something to your taste, you’re one finicky beer drinker. And they have even more bottled brands if the mammoth tap list doesn’t suit you.
I had a Buster Burger to eat. I ordered it rare and it came back perfectly rare. That meant it was very juicy and tasty. This burger comes with two different cheeses, one being an aged Widmer. Nice and flavorful. The house sauce was a little too pickley for me, but not bad. On the whole, this is one of the better burgers in south Minneapolis.
I had seen their home made hot chips on DD&D, so I ordered them. They were terrific. They come with two dipping sauces, a ketchup-based one and a French onion one. Both were tasty. This is definitely the side you want with whatever entree you order. Yummy.
Even the pickle slice had a nice flavorful snap to it.
All said, this was a nice bar burger meal in a friendly clean neighborhood bar with a ton of beer choices. I will go back.
One final plus is that it’s next door to The Baker’s Wife bakery. So if you finish up at Buster’s before the bakery closes, you can finish things off with dessert from this top bakery.
Great pub! We had a burger, the beer braised brisket, and the steak sandwich. Hard to decide which was best. All SO SO good. Highly recommend!
Fantastic food, ambiance, and a phenomenal beer selection. Staff are always warm and welcoming. One of my favorite places in the cities to grab a pint. Plus they have dog friendly sidewalk seating.
Place was a little busy when we went there for dinner. They have good food and the service was pretty good. I'd recommend eating here.
Went for a Funkwerks showcase and was surprised with the amount of beers they had available not just from them but from really everywhere. Staff was knowledgeable and had well formed opinions on the entire draft list. Food was pretty standard but had some great options.
Great food! We especially love their burgers. Nice wine and beer selection. Classy place that's great for families and all. Patio area is good too.
Bison burger is next level! It's lean enough for medium rare and still has plenty of flavor. Also their beef burgers are great. Whatever blend of beef cuts they are using is right on; great depth of flavor that comes through the bun and toppings.
The best beer selection in Minnesota featuring local, regional & national craft beers, which rotate frequently. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. There's always something to please most palates on the menu from the kitchen with later hours than most.
The food and beer selection was good. My only problem is lunch. Most people meet for lunch to talk and catch up with friends. The music was so loud we couldn’t communicate. We asked to turn it down and they turned it down a teensy bit. Not enough. There were only 2 other diners in booths and 4 or 5 people at the bar. No one was there to party and get drunk to blasting music.
I ❤️ Buster's on 28th and they have some of the loveliest servers, thanks John! Nom nom nom… definitely making s mpls proud buddies! Tonite we had busters wing a walleye rachel and THOSE CHEESE CURDS… with raspberry mustard… mmmm
Great place. Service wonderful--especially Angie's warmth and attention to detail and established re-connection with pre-pandemic regulars. Sweet potato fries--YUM
Very good place, friendly staff and awesome food also a ton of beers on tap
Very nice coffee shop with a very tasty coffee and other treats. It was very clean and safe place. They practice all safe methods for covid!
This is one of my favorite spots for a burger in Minneapolis. Small local feeling. The servers are always friendly. The price for the quality of food is spot on. I recommend getting the side salad with the burgers, it’s always simple and fresh.
Great spot with good food and a sizable tap beer list.
Okay, one of the best spots in town. If you're a local, this is the go-to spot for a drink and a bite, as it's a little off the rail line, and you don't get so many commuters. The beer menu is amaaaaazing and it's updated regularly. The onion rings are my go-to on the menu.
Fantastic neighborhood bar with a large selection of beers on tap and in bottles. Food is always good, sometimes great. Excellent burgers and flatbreads. Usually pretty crowded.
Cozy atmosphere and incredibly good burgers. 10/10 would recommend.
Great food, great beer selections...shared appetizers (red curry wings, cheese curds, onion rings, & pretzels) with a group, I would recommend each item, especially the cheese curds. Was there on a Friday afternoon, not too busy, fast service.
Great beer list and neighborhood atmosphere are the best features of Buster's (and that its within walking distance)Burgers, braised beef and pulled pork are tasty, using next door's A Baker's Wife's Bakery buns. They also have a great chili when they offer it (not always available). Only disappointment has been their wings, but haven't tried them for a few years so may have improved. The most amazing thing about their food is the fact that they really don't have a kitchen, they make everything (pretty broad/ever changing menu) on the small area behind the bar.Service is always great too.
Great Pub fare! Great beer selection! Great service and vibe. The appetizers were delicious. We will be back to try more of the menu and beer list.
After seeing Buster's on "Dinners, Drive ins and Dives" about six months ago we decided to try it. Suffice it to say we've been back several times already as it's become one of our favorite places. We've enjoyed everything we've ordered, something different every time - except for the onion rings which are huge and a must have every visit.
Steak Sandwich & Bison Burger were both on point! Joel, the proprietor, exudes a warm and welcoming environment, further exemplified by his attentive and efficient wait staff. And, of course, compliments to the phenomenal cooks crafting masterpieces in their miracle known as the Buster's kitchen. Come on in, y'all!
This is a great neighborhood pub. We are new to the area, but have eaten here 3 times and found it to be excellent every stop. Great pub food with some fun twists and a terrific selection of local craft brews and beyond.
It's been a few years since the last time I was here and it's just like I remember: great! Calm, replaced atmosphere. Courteous, knowledgeable staff. And fantastic selection of tap beers! Highly recommend!
Google's definition of a 3-star rating is "It's ok", which was my feeling after leaving here. Nice beer selection, and the overall atmosphere is pretty cool. However, and I'm far from a customer service snob, but had it not been for our pretentious, too-good-for-this-job server, I would've been happy to leave a higher rating.
Great staff, awesome food I love the dry rub wings and Buster burger. Always have some of the best beer selection.
At this point I have ordered half of the menu and I can vouch for every one of their offerings that I have ended up with. Both the beer and food are a dollar or two too high on every item, but the service, atmosphere, and selection keep me coming back. This is worth a visit you are in the neighborhood.
This place is about 4 decisions away from being a cool little spot, and with the new remodel I'm really disappointed with the lack of changes. All the seating seems for 4 which makes fitting people tough, there is no consistency with the audio (are you showing sports, playing music, watching CSI: Miami), the signage is non-existent, and nothing really about it stands out - there's no niche, and if you're in Minneapolis, you'd better have one. The food is decent, beer selection decent, but nothing special. If it weren't next door to my friend I would have no reason to go. But, like I said, it's not that it's bad, it's just not special.
The bartender is amazing and everything was perfect
Great selection of beers, not so heavy on IPAs, a refreshing change from other beer joints. Friendly staff, tasty food, quick service. What's not to love? Kid friendly environment too!
Great tap beer selection with constantly changing options. Above par "bar food" - they make their own ketchup, along with most everything on the menu. Convenient neighborhood location.
Their bison burger is out of this world. They take pride in having crazy beers you have never heard of on tap. I was once there during the day for a late lunch and heard the owner/manager talking to someone who I assume was their liquor distributor saying something to the effect of 'if you see anything in small batches or unusual, just get it. Don't bother asking me. Just get it before someone else does'
Rotating taps compliment the fine selection of always available beers but liquor can't be found here. Good American pub food, great service and excellent management. Trivia on Tuesday creates a full house. Street parking only.
Would meet friends there for a good time and a drink but probably eat beforehand. Good beer selection but the fries fall short of expectations and Ruben left a lot to be desired as far as flavor.
Great neighborhood bar that just serves beer and wine (no hard liquor). No late-night food, which is a bit of a bummer because they have a fabulous scratch kitchen. Reasonably priced and great service.
Ordered the steak sandwich, my gf ordered the ceasar salad and added chicken. Food was excellent. I only have 4 stars because the waitresses smiled maybe once or twice. They seemed tired and it was only noon
Relied on the reviews and wasn't disappointed. The beer selection was nice and our appetizers were very good. Mason, the bartender, was a delight. I visit MN often and will definitely be back.
This place is OUTSTANDING!!! The beer braised beef sandwich is most excellent. Very friendly atmosphere with a welcoming vibe. If you are in the area mark it with a heart and go there.
This was my 2nd time there and it was still such good food. I had the steak sandwich that Guy recommended on DDD. SO good!! I'm not a fan of blue cheese but the creamy blue cheese on the sandwich blended in so well. Oh. So. Good. Great service too.
Burgers are great! Our server Rachel was great! The kids said it was the best Root Beer they have ever had. I highly recommend the CCC Burger and sweet potato fries.
Meh. Not as good as it used to be. Server was very nice and beer was great. Food… not so much. Tasteless and dry. Nasty sauces.
Excellent food, service, and selection of good beers. One of my all time favorite little bars by far. Would highly recommend going here.
Positively the nicest bar and restaurant on the Southside of Minneapolis! Our cordially wonderful wait-staff Charlie was spot on with his recommendations on different food picks and large menu of beer! The food was divine!
When I walked in, I felt like I was in a tavern in Manhatten, shot-gun style!
You must venture here, ask to be seated in Charlie's section!
Atmospher is good. The food looked good but the main cook (you can see the kitchen from the bar as it’s open concept) had long scraggly black and grey hair and beard too. I just couldn’t get passed this man cooking my food as I just kept imagining finding one of his hairs in my food. If he had a hair and beard net on, as he should have, I would have ordered.
I went for my birthday. Great food. The staff was fantastic and friendly. The potato chips!
My wife and I stumbled upon Buster's (we don't live in the neighborhood) and were so pleasantly delighted with their menu, beer list, service staff and facility! We will for sure head back sometime soon. Super happy about this find!
One of my favorite drinking establishments in south Minneapolis. Best curated tap selection. Seasonal and uncommon beers. Friendly bartenders and good bar food.
One of the best beer lists in the cities with the unique ability to build flights to enjoy a mix of your favorites our just try multiple beers that might be outside your comfort zone. Amazing sandwiches all around $9-$14. As someone who previously lived in Memphis, the bbq capital, I can support their bbq pork sandwich with pride.
The food is definitely good and has an old time Pub feel, though perhaps a little bit too far on the pricey side. Very pleasant and laid-back atmosphere, and the servers are very good at being accommodating without being overbearing.
The burger matched the price asking for it. A solid tasting and filling burger. Definitely will be back. Also a really good beer selection to peruse and maybe try "beer is interesting these days ".
Great neighborhood joint! The beer selection is fantastic and constantly rotating, and the food is solid as well. I'll definitely keep coming here frequently as I live nearby.
Busters has always been my go to restaurant I love their wings and great beer selection. Very happy with the takeout service they’re offering while shelter in place is in effect!
Great food and wide choice of craft beers. Good ambiance. Only downside: sometimes you have to wait a while to be seated.
Great winds and an excellent tap list of craft beers. Good atmosphere, but the bar seating is a little limited; plenty of tables though.
My favorite neighborhood dinner/drink spot. I come here all the time - it's that good. Recommendations: Early Riser, Steak Sandwich, Walleye Rachel, all of their salads, and the Calamari small plate. Yum!
Great service and phenomenal food. Hands down best cubano sandwich I’ve ever had. Beer selection is awesome! We will return soon!
1st Stop:
Well, the TripleD show featured the Steak Sandwich and the Beer Braised Beef so of course by the time we get here late Friday night they're out of both.
The waiter said he'd never seen the two sell out so quickly. On his recommendation I got the Walleye Sandwich and the Mrs got the Pulled Pork Sandwich and Onion Rings....I got the Homemade Chips that were featured on the show and they were as good as Guy was saying that they were! Really made me wish that they had one of the sandwiches available!
The Walleye was awesome in its own right and the waiter had made a great suggestion in steering me that way. The bread was a combination of a good crunch on the outside and yet soft on the inside. The walleye was done to perfection and the sauce wasn't your ordinary tartar sauce (has to be a homemade version) and was a great flavor enhancer.
Had a bite of the Mrs's Pulled Pork Sandwich and the Onion Rings....Both were winners as well though I'd have preferred just a tad more bbq sauce on the potk.
The Pretzel Bread appetizers were warm and amazingly good!
2nd Stop:
This time around the Bear Braised Beef Sandwich was available and dayum was it good!
Added an order of the Homemade Chips again and they were warm and tasty!
The Mrs wasn't too hungry and decided on a Chicken Fritters in BBQ Sauce and they were very good as well.
Sunday brunch was delicious! Great selection of craft beer and always a new beer to try...love the variety! Friendly staff, wonderful neighborhood hangout!
Long and varied crafty beer list, decent wings, fabulous bartenders, low lighting. This isn't a sports bar, per se. I have seen a baseball game on the tvs only once in my visits here, usually it's an 80s movie. Jon is the man and makes anyone feel like they totally made the right choice in hanging out here. I also enjoy the snacks here. Those onion rings, maaan!!
So much beer. Beer beer beer. I'd guess there's at least 100 brands, and they do custom flights so you can get a sample of what's on tap. Food is all quite good, the calamari and bison burger are my favorite.
I've been here many times and I get bad food about 4 out of 5 times. I've had under cooked, raw wings, I have had dry burgers, over cooked.... dry turkey paninis. The prices are high, there can be a wait for a table, and the quality isn't there. I would not recommend this place.
I stopped in around 4:00 pm and had the Buffalo Burger. The waitress was nice, the staff was attentive and the chef is great in my opinion. It came fast, it looked good and it was good.
Great flavor on the barbecue pork. Very nice spinach salad with pears, beets, walnuts. Nice beer selection. Attentive service.
Great beer selection, good food and service. It's always a good time at Buster's! Beer menu routinely changes, so it's best to come here frequently like me.
Saw Busters on Diners Drive Ins and Dives - and we were impressed. The wait staff was attentive, the burgers and chips were delicious, the environment was small-town-ish, we only wish we could have stayed longer!
Great food! Healthy portions and very tasty. Loved my walleye with apple slaw. My husband lived the Reuben and onion rings.
Good bbq beef brisket but was served on toast.
Steak sandwich with chips on top was yummy.
Best fries ever. Tasty homemade ketchup!
BBQ pork sandwich and fries were very good. Both seasoned and cooked well. Would go again. Portions were good and prices decent.
Swiss & Mushroom with onion rings. Crispy deliscious rings, SOOO much flavour in the burger. Our new burger joint. 👍 …
Great atmosphere, friendly service. Will be back to try all the tap beers ! Update they keep changing the selections, this will take awhile, YES!!! Simply, a great place !
Great place to get a burger and beer. A lot of rotating Taps and local beer selection. Good atmosphere, not too fancy but a not dive by any means. 👍👍 …
Never had a bad experience here. The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable. Good food and great beer/cider selections. Noise level can be high sometimes.
Our favorite place to grab burgers and beer. Cozy pub atmosphere with delicious burgers and sweet potato fries. Beer selection always gives great choices!
Excellent service and the best burger I have had in a long time. Best thing about Busters for me is the gluten free buns.
The Beer Minds is a group of homebrewers located in the Twin Cities who gather once a month to soak our taste buds in delicious craft beer! We visited Buster's on 28th this summer and we were surprised at the tap selection. Very good beers on tap and we plan on coming back soon!
Food was good, waitress wasnt the best. I'd go back but prob try something different. Had the walleye tacos. Good but not packed full with flavor
"Best burger I've had in a year. I know I will definitely be disappointed the next time I go"....is what I said before my second visit when I had another amazing burger! Juicy Lucy has nothing on the Buster Burger!
Delicious burger. Their fries have improved greatly since our last visit. And now they have ranch dressing (for the fries).
Loved the real fries and real hot potato chips. Great draft beer selection.
Great neighborhood bar and restaurant. Excellent food and the beer selection is top notch. (Although they could refresh a bit more often.)
Patio is usually filled on warm weekend evenings, but was able to be seated right away. Chicken sandwich bun got soggy from all the dressing but otherwise very good.
Love the steak sandwich here! Casual and easy-going neighborhood joint. Beer and wine (no liquor). Good burgers and sandwich options.
Best beer selection in MPLS. We'll thought out taps and very knowledgeable bar staff. Good is delicious. We always leave happy.
Great place. Good food, great beer menu, plenty of wine. Heads up: no liquor or cocktails, don't let that stop you though.
This place is awesome, the wife and I go only about twice a year but I'm always looking forward to going. Super great food and awesome service, just be patient if there's a long waiting line when you get there.
Delicious food and excellent knowledgeable service. A great place to hang out with friends and enjoy your self
Always a great selection on tap. Steak sandwich is one of the best around. When in the neighborhood it is always at the top of our list of places to stop at.
A good little hole in the wall restaurant/bar
Get their Cuban sandwich. You won't regret it, unless you hate pork. I come here for awesome breakfast and pork sandwiches and cheese plates and alcohol. Because all three of these dishes can be combined with alcohol....lol
Great beer selection and overall good food. Service good and for the first time tonight I didn't have a wait to get in!
Excellent food and a wide variety of beers, though I wish they would add another lager or Pilsner. Highly recommend.
I dont get haircuts but i pass by the shop everyday. I have to say i have never seen one bad haircut. If i was a man i would definitely get a cut by these guys.
This place was warm and inviting in this post-Covid world. They only have a limited beer and wine, no full bar. I did not try the food.
One of my favorite restaurant in the cities! The menu is great, and full of options for Celiacs and vegetarians. Their bison burger is great too!
Excellent food nothing bad on the menu. Quick service although not friendly. Food made up for it though. Wide variety of ales.
We love Buster's! It's in our neighborhood so we love the convenience but the food is so great we would drive wherever! And the service is always top notch!
Shared the steak sandwich as well as red curry chicken wings, fantastic. Added a couple local brews, Summit Keller pls and Wabasha Mango Implosion great brew.
Very good burgers, but far too busy for me. My food too a little longer that I expected, but I understand that happens when every seat in the place is taken.
Awesome beer selection. Try the braised beef sandwich, can't go wrong. $2 off local beers during happy hour.
First time coming here, I really enjoyed the variety of ciders they had available, the service was good, and the lamb burger was amazing. I'm really looking forward to coming back again.
Best neighborhood restaurant in the area. Everything on the menu is so good!
I enjoyed the Bar. I had Walleye tacos and dry rub wings. Wish i could tell you we loved them. They were just Ok.😞 …
Old building smell when you come in and needs a little detail cleaning. Good selection of tap beer and turkey burger was good and fries were excellent.
Friendly staff, yummy sandwiches, they make their own ketchup!
Enjoy finding new restaurants...Thanks to seeing Buster’s on Diners Drive-in’s and Dives. Street parking so plan ahead. Plenty of food for another meal. Made from scratch and delicious!
Love going to Buster's. Good tap beer selection and great burgers. House side salad is also wonderful.
Cubano sandwich was excellent. Real care taken to assemble a good looking meal that yasted amazing. Pickles veges . . . nuf said
John at the Bar is charismatic and very thoughtful. We are from out of town and he made us feel right at home. We will continue to return as long as John is working!!!
The food is fabulous and the beer selection is extensive. Inside it is very cozy. Outside it is very nice with particularly comfortable patio furniture.
Great beers on tap, great food, and a fun neighborhood bar feel. This is my neighborhood bar; I recommend the pork or beef sandwich and salt and vinegar chips.
Great food and beer and service as always. We ate inside and felt very safe during the pandemic.
Yummy burgers and the ketchup tastes just like Ted cooks bbq sauce!
Very good food and a great beer selection. I've been 3 times now, no complaints.
Get the oyster plate. It is messy, but worth it.
Finish off with a beet salad!
Give yourself enough time to really look over the beer menu, and then choose wisely.
We love busters!! We drive an hour round trip to eat there. I can’t recommend their steak sandwich enough!
One of the best beer selections around. The food is great and consistent! Bartenders are friendly!
Best beer list in town! Love the atmosphere of this mpls gastropub serving up delicious food. Fantastic veggie burger!!
A great little neighborhood pub with tasty food and an amazing, ever-rotating tap list. Don't miss out on the hot potato chips appetizer!
Great burger, got the CCC, beer list was kinda eh
Great burgers. Lots of options to build your own burger from. Chipotle cream cheese is a must-have addition to any burger you try.
The food was delicious, and I really enjoyed my left-handed dark beer. Great service.
Good food. Their payment system significantly malfunctioned while I was there and I ended up waiting 15 minutes after the meal for the system to work. Not pleasant with a toddler.
Great brunch, small menu which was actually nice because they do everything on it really well. Service was excellent too.
Quaint place, food was good, nice selection of beer and drinks. A little pricey for the area. Overall a good and fun experience though.
Wonderful staff and great food!
Always a great meal. Bison burger is amazing and my wife's shrimp po boy looked great. Service always friendly.
California burger with fries was fantastic. Food came hot, and fast. Friendly staff. Nice neighborhood place.
Very cute place..food was not great...waitress was pleasant...probably won't return..
Food is great, beer is better. I love this place. The bartenders know their stuff! I love the beer menu.
I went for brunch and was very pleasantly surprised by how good it was! I highly recommend the Lorraine omelette and the steak eggs Benedict
Great food, great atmosphere, great beer list, and great staff. Highly recommend this place. And fun trivia on Tuesday
Favorite neighborhood bar in south minneapolis. Good food and large beer selection. Good feel inside the place.
The service was fine, the general feel of the place was good, and the food was tasty, but a little bit too greasy (when there's oil coming out like a small stream from your onion rings, that's a little bit too much...)
Love. Something for everyone, and doing COVID safety right. Visited again with friends in Feb 2022. Still delicious and convivial.
The walleye sandwich is the bomb. Friendly service, social distancing is observed, curbside tables, kid friendly, and a nice neighborhood vibe.
One of the best neighborhood restaurants in South Minneapolis. Great food and beer selection. Steak sandwich is the best.
Super underrated neighborhood bar. Food is just as good if not better than the taps!
Great place. Clean. Great bar food. Nice street parking.
Fabulous food for neighborhood bar. Had the breakfast burger. Done perfectly. Recommend the onion rings!
Great neighborhood bar and restaurant. Great staff, good food, and cold brews. Very comfortable place.
Great bar food and an always excellent tap list. The chips and dip are absolutely killer.
I really liked the shaved beef sandwich. The chips are made in house and the French onion dip they come with is very good.
Good place for comfort food and a wide selection of beer. The staff is super friendly and helpful!
Great people wonderful staff
Their beer selection is hard to beat, if that's your jam.
Great staff
Good service
Good to great food
Love their food. The fries are terrific!
Great beer list
Wish their menu was a bit more extensive. With that being said, it is my favorite burger in town these days
The burger was amazing and the beer flights are a great way to sample their many options!
One of the top neighborhood bars in the Twin Cities. The food is great and the beer selection is world-class.
Excellent service and food. Waitress recommendation were spot on.

The food is amazing especially the sauce the only problem is when you eat outside there is so many flies
Everything a gastropub is supposed to be. Great beerlist. Classic barfood that's always a little bit elevated over the norm.
Great food and beer selection. And the bartenders are all awesome and knowledgeable!
Elevated bar food with tasty variations on classic items. The sweet potato fries are excellent.
Busters is always awesome. From John the master beer tender. And to all of the staff that has taken care of us for years. Thanx again!

Love this place. One of my favs. Always order the potato chips! They are fresh and delicious!
Good food, friendly and knowledgeable staff, awesome beer selection. I'm a regular.

Always great beer friendly bartenders there was a weird guy with neck tattoos at bar drinking though
Small bar and grill. Great food, huge beer list. Nice little patio, and a small town feel
Food was great and nice for dinner. And the staff was nice just overall great.
Best walleye (sandwich )I’ve had in Mpls. AND the fries were hot! Yum.
Buster's is the GOAT. Awesome tap list and A+ vibes
Homey is right! Pretty laid back place...kind of stoner food on crack (really comforting food, done really well, but also some interesting pairings).
Amazing beer selection, great food, and really nice service.
Very good food. Loved the chips! Great variety of brews.
Great rotating taps. Solid food offerings and friendly service. What else could you ask for?
The Buster Burger was bust a gut big and good. Delicious Delicate Delightful. Triple D salute...
Very good food. They were busy but we were able to visit and not be rushed.
Always solid food and a nice rotating list of beers. They often have specialty beers that are hard to find in MN.
Friendly staff and great food. I had CCC burger medium rare.
Maybe the best craft beer selection of any pub in Minneapolis. Very good pub food as well.
Just get what was featured on the TV show and you're set. My wife and I love this place. Steak sandwich is 😍 …
Second time there. Food has been great both times. Service was fast and good.
Great rotating beer selection. Outdoor seating is perfect when it's nice out.
The best burgers in Mpls. Take it from a fat boy. Love me some burgers and beers. Almost as much as cake and ice cream.
Fun place, great service, great food!
Great atmosphere. Wonderful food. Killer selection of taps.
Good food, but the server was kinda crabby and inattentive.
Excellent food. Good staff. Lots of beers on tap.

We had the walleye sandwich and burger, excellent. And the service was great.
Great beer list, nice neighborhood vibe, mediocre burger.
Server was spectacular, hilarious, kind, and accommodating. And the food, good lord, wonderful. Get some!
Great neighborhood bar with a wide selection of beers and tasty entrees.
Great food, awesome beers, nice atmosphere. A jewel in Minneapolis
Not enough blue cheese on my sandwich. TVs are small. But the bartender was cool.
Great neighborhood place for beer and dinner. It was packed on a Tuesday night if that tells you anything.
Had lunch with son and fiancee great dining and food
Such amazing food. Even their ketchup is made from scratch.
Always a good time. Nice tap selection and tasty bar food.
Food is good, staff is great. Cool place to hang out.
It was very good food, if you were to ever visit, I suggest the Late Riser.
Great food, great beer list, and a great sidewalk patio in a fun neighborhood.
Good burgers. Worth the trip but no plans to return again.
Sorta spendy, sorta upscale but in the way where you feel like it's generic or just like every other place. Foods good
This place was amazing. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and the food was outstanding.
Good beer selection, service has been a mixed bag though.
Lovely food, lovely staff, great beer selection.
