Reviews of BaGu Sushi & Thai
Shalon Johnson
There is a 3.5% surcharge per card transaction! Came here yesterday with my partner for dinner and it was pretty good. Initial impression is that the restaurant is EXTREMELY small. It can sit about 10-15 people total. The waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. It did kind of suck that half the drinks on the menu they did not have available. The food came out pretty promptly. We ordered the fried dumplings, the California roll, the number 9 and another set of sushi. It’s weird how different types have a set amount. There’s a list of ones that come with 5,6,8 sushi rolls, it would be nice to be able to decided which type of sushi roll you want and how many from the options listed. Food was delicious and well prepared. Pricing was pretty affordable as well. As stated in other reviews there is a 3.5% surcharge for using a card which is not disclosed anywhere on the menu or by the staff. If you come, I would suggest using cash. Overall the food was good. I would definitely return!

The Thai food is pretty good and apps were tasty. The sushi could be better. The crispy pork belly pad Thai had good flavor and had a good mix of sauce. It was a good ratio of salty, sweet and sour. Cream cheese wontons were average, not bad but not amazing. Papaya salad tasted good and has a good lime zest flavor. Tom yum soup tasted clean and right amount of sour. The baked muscles are pretty good and worth trying. I would avoid the 3 wise man roll that has a thick brown layer of sauce on top. It was very salty and ruined the fresh taste that sushi usually has.

This place is quite small, but definitely a spot you will want to try. Not only does the food look delightful to the eyes, it is as delicious as it looks! The service is wonderful. We were fortunate to have a dish provided by the chef, on the house.

Teeny tiny sushi and Thai place in minneapolis. According to my dad they have a really cute patio in the back during the summer. Despite only having about 8-10 tables in the entire restaurant, service was slow. They only had 1 beer available out of like 5-6 that were on the menu. Looked like there was only 1 sushi chef for the entire time we were there. Food was OUTSTANDING. So delicious, with a huge variety of sushi rolls to choose from. Bathrooms are a little dingy. Overall it was good but for the high prices and the 3.5 surcharge for card we probably won’t come back.

What an incredible place. The food was very well made and high quality. We ordered karaage, spicy salmon roll, dragon roll, and some eel nigiri. We also drink some hot sake. Everything was made very well and was delicious. The dragon roll was the best dragon roll I've ever had. And the taste of the eel was what I had hoped, and the presentation was awesome. Spicy salmon roll was spicy! The placement of the sushi was well done. I'm very pleased with the customer service as well. They were very fast and very friendly. I'll definitely be coming back in the near future.

(3.5/5)
I've got mixed feelings about BaGu, I was worried that the fusion of what seems like southeast asian and more japanese cuisine would provide a mediocre representation, and, I was sorta right. I thought the food appetizers and entrees tasted better than the sushi.
The Sunset and Crunchy Spicy Tuna (CST) rolls tasted generic, like if I went to a sushi buffet, this is what I would expect. Know what I mean? The Sunset one was very mellow and sweet, but didn't have a "wow" factor. The CST one was more interesting because of the play on textures, crunchy, sweet, fresh, creamy, salty but I was left unimpressed as both were nearly $20 a roll.
Karage - this seemed to have SE Asian flare on it as the the most dominant flavors were ginger and salt. I would use a tad bit less salt, but the choice to use dark meat was smart and kept the chicken moist and add richness. One thing to note is that the dish came out in a large clump and needed to be manually separated into sharable pieces.
Gyoza - nice hard pan sear and meat had sweet notes. Would use more green onions + white and black pepper. Accompanying soy sauce had some variation of vinegar mixed in and it contrasted well against the saltiness.
*Public Service Announcement*
Spice levels are on the Asian Richter scale, so if spice isn't your forte, order one level, or two, down from what you usually do.
Drunken Noodles - order with wide noodles, it makes a difference. The dish was SPICY (learn from me, I didn't ask which heat scale it was) but very, very flavorful. Savory all around with notes of holy basil and sweet seared crab. Chewy and crunchy textures.
Pad Thai - okay, this is like a stereotypical dish, but nonetheless, always a viable option. The dish was nutty and sweet, almost caramel like, and balanced the spice.
Overall, BaGu is pretty expensive and I'd go back for the food, but not sushi. I still think the sushi buffets are a better bang-for-your-buck type of place.

One of my FAVORITE places 💕 Hands down one of the best Crsipy Porkbelly Pad Thai joints in town, Lao Style Papaya, and baked mussels 🤤 Def a hidden gem
Critical Chris
Good food and pleasant atmosphere. I’m rating 4 stars because nowhere on their menu nor website do they mention that they charge a hefty 3.5% additional surcharge to pay with a debit card or credit card. Their staff also didn’t mention this surcharge to me as I handed my card to them for payment, which would have been a decent courtesy.
Andrea Hannem
Our favorite Thai place in town! The curry gets you two servings (love having amazing leftovers for lunch the next day!) highly recommend the green curry.
Maly Yang
Delicious food! Can’t go wrong with anything on their menu!
Annie Garnett
Really cute restaurant, small but cute. I came for my birthday dinner with my Aunt. The server noticed it was my birthday when I ordered my sake. At the end of the meal she brought out some sticky rice with a candle in it. It was really really sweet of her, and really made my day. The sushi was amazing btw! I will definitely be coming back again.
Prad Pathirana
Amazing to sit out back on a summer day and enjoy some delicious food. I always go for the sashimi, and they did not disappoint, nice portion size as well.
Elizabeth Mathers
I loved going here! We were able to walk in but as it is a tiny restaurant, reservations may be preferred. The food was delicious. They have great food specials. The servers were very kind and knowledgeable. Easy to walk to from where I parked. That being said, there's only street parking.
Pakou Xiong
My husband and I had an awesome expereince!!!! Chef were super nice. We ordered Otoro (fatty tuna) from their special menu and it just melts in your mouth!!!! It was like biting into a peice of cotton candy meat that melts away!!!!!!
Kalia Vang
The food here is amazing. I was not disappointed at all! I can't wait to be back to try the rest. The staffs are awesome!
Aleksandra Jeffrey
Finally made it back, food is still delicious. Got the Hamachi kama, boat noodle and Pad See Ew with tofu so good!
First time here, awesome food, friendly service, just wish this place was a little bigger. But overall great experience, will be coming back here ☺
Andrea Hein
So happy to have tried this place a couple of weeks ago. We were so happy with how delicious the sushi was we decided to go back again last night for another incredible dinner!! The noodles were good but the sushi was amazing. The prices are reasonable and wait time for pick up orders were not too long. Overall very good experience.
July Vang
Bau is slowly opening up for dine in now, yay!!! They have some new menu items, too! Alk the food was amazing, but do get the spicy tako salad, GRILLED MUSSELS, bowl of boat noodle, and sushi!
Srinivas NADIPALLI
Had tried the place quite a few times, whenever we're in Minneapolis. Food was really good. Excellent service. Place requires reservations for the usual busy times though. Parking can be an issue Keep it up guys
Sara Drapac
Always a favorite! Disappointed they were out of Baked Mussels.
Baoie Lee Riley
Stopped in for happy hour- prices were really fair for the portions. Food was delicious! I'm very picky when it comes to sushi and how they are rolled. The chefs here did great; not one roll fell apart! Egg rolls were nice and crispy. The gyoza was perfectly cooked. We even got a small miso soup and bowl of rice for our 2 yr old, which was super helpful and kept her preoccupied with the coloring book/crayons that our server happily provided. Will definitely stop by again and sit in the back patio area that is beautiful and fenced in!
v. crawford
The food is delicious. When ordering take out keep in mind it may take an hour or more for your order to be ready. It's worth the wait.
InfinityAdviceGuru
Amazing back patio. Very cozy and intimate. Delicious plum wine by the glass. Great about accommodating my food allergies and leaving out a garnish or ingredient to make my visit go nicer. I think no matter which area you sit in, it's a pleasant experience. Plus the plates and glasses are all really pretty and make eating off them super aesthetically appeasing.
Yoon-Ah Cho
Sushi was good, but the service was slow. I would give this place another chance because of the food quality. I will update the review after my next visit.
Lauren Dosland
Great neighborhood sushi spot. Delicious and high quality specials. Pretty presentations. Blue fin tuna sashimi and hot mussels were delish! Rating 4 stars because it can be pretty quiet, even during busy hours, so not always the best place to go for a fun night out.
M R
EVERYTHING is delicious. Hands down BEST cream cheese wontons EVER! Egg rolls were also really good n I'm picky about Egg rolls. Not my first time and will go back because I want to eat everything on the menu
Ali
Our first time here and everything we ordered was outstanding - cream cheese puff, pork egg rolls, chicken drunken noodles (with wide noodles), and fried rice with crispy pork. This will be our new go to place for Thai food. We can’t wait to try the the sushi!
Steve Ramgren
Good food but they don't take to go sushi orders until you are in the restaurant. Issue being I have ordered to go food and then arrive and they say they can't make sushi at that time
Noah Her
Great food. Fresh fish cuts and chopstick licking good rolls. Have yet to try the Thai food. Will have to come back.
Nigel Mendez
Really great dinner. Loved that they could make almost anything gluten free as needed.
Joshua Houdek
Outstanding Thai food. We had drunken noodles (fried tofu and soft shelled crab). Make sure to specify wide noodles or as other reviewers have noted you’ll get ramen. Very long wait for takeout on a busy Friday night: 1 hour, 20 minutes. But hot and very tasty.
ariel smith
Love this place. Service was very attentive and friendly. Ramen was so flavorful, they were able to accommodate food allergies. My party loved the sushi as well. Parking not the greatest around here.
Dom V
Best place to get your sushi fix. Try their baked mussels, it's one of my favorite dish. The waitresses are super friendly and often checks in with you to make sure everything is perfect.
Fong Hang
Sushi is top notch. The service was excellent. A place you would definitely want to come back and get the whole menu.
Tess
the sushi here is always amazing super fresh and delicious always. the french kiss roll is definitely my favorite or the california roll.
Deb L
Ok food, was frustrated as sign outside clearly shows a Friday happy hour, was told inside by wait staff that there was none on Fridays. Also my friends vegetarian dish had beef chunks in bottom. Misu soup was great.
Tori Hensley
BaGu is incredibly underrated. Went tonight for Happy Hour and the Sushi was SO delicious, fresh and affordably priced. We got 2 drinks, an entree and three rolls of sushi for $50. The only downside is that the tables are so close to each other and it’s SO quiet which can be kind of awkward when trying to have a conversation.
Kandice
Amazing sushi and Thai food! My wife and kids loved it.
Jeff Paske
Good sushi isn’t cheap, and cheap sushi isn’t good. This place checks both boxes with ease,
and with a lasting memory of what good sushi tastes like. Absolutely go when you’re ready to indulge.
Jesse Deol
A little disappointed. Food was average. Had sushi and Thai food. Service was slow for such a small place
Richard Bourn
Kind of a small place, but the service was friendly and the pad thai was very good. The interior could use some fresh paint and touch up, but other than that, I would definitely go back again.
Jason
Had two of the Thai dishes, good but with a definite Midwest level of spice. You'll have to ask if you want something stronger. Nice back patio space.
Erika Vang
It took us an hour to receive our food, and there was only our group of five people and another table with four people in the restaurant. Service was extremely slow. The quality of the food was nothing extraordinary. It's your typical sushi and Thai food that you can get anywhere. Location is inconvenient and parking was impossible to find.
Wojtek K
Great neighborhood sushi & Thai food with reasonable prices.
Noelle Ernst
The best sushi place I've ever been to! Its my favorite place to take both sushi connoisseurs and first timers alike. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Food is served quickly and it's always delicious, I typically only go for their sushi, but the Thai food is also incredible. Highly recommend the patio during the warm months, it feels surprisingly secluded as it's fenced in and has lovely landscaping. Cannot recommend enough!
Rob Goodfellow
Food here is really good. But they are a bit pricey. But you do get great food.
Klaus Kohlmayr
Always fantastic. Love the food and atmosphere
Tracy Johnson
Great service and delicious food. The menu has a really nice variety and everything was presented beautifully.
Kristin Parker
Delicious dinner, and great service. Our fried items were crisp and hot, even by the time I got them home. They were out of chicken wings, but substituted a more expensive item, and gave me free edamame for the trouble.
Gregory Carlson
No dining in at this point and they are enacting covid procedures. Spacing, face masks, and even separate the pens...used and unused. Place was sanitized while I was sitting there. Food was excellent, we went a Saturday evening while it was snowing and it was non stop busy. They are only open 4 hours in the evening. I think they take their last order at 2030. Definitely going back
JL Connors
We came here hoping to have a birthday dinner for my daughter and had assumed they had dine in, but during this time no avail. However, the owners were very courteous and let us order out. Their service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend.
Aaron Tsay
Price is on the higher end, but food was really good. We had the grilled whole squid in sauce. The texture was crispy on the outside and chewy inside. Great! We also had the angry salmon cold appetizer. That was probably one of my favorite raw fish dish. The pad Thai was a little too sweet for my liking. The ambiance is very settling and calming. Even with an infant, we felt quite at ease and this being a Friday dinner. We will hopefully be back again in the future.
Christine
Awesome sushi rolls that travel really well for takeout. Tom Yum soup was delicious also. Make sure to give yourself time when placing your order as they are quite popular.
Angelica Iannitti
Their rolls are hands-down the best rolls in town. They are so good I find myself never needing to dip them in soy sauce or add flavor ever. I have yet to have something off of their varied menu that I don’t like. They are super nice too!
Julia Meyer
Some of the best sushi in Minneapolis in my opinion! So fresh, family oriented hole In the wall shop that has incredible food!
Abby E
O m g. Bagu is, hands down, my favorite sushi place in Minnesota. I have never in my life had a better #9 roll and their miso soup and desserts are FIRE. The staff are friendly and helpful, the location is convenient, the interior is small but cute. If you call for takeout, their estimated pickup times are very accurate and reasonable. The surrounding shopping area is cute in both winter and summer. Lots of great menu options. A great place for a date, to go with friends, to take a sushi "beginner", or to take your sushi connoisseur. Everyone I've ever taken has been impressed. Their back patio is surprisingly wonderful. And as far as COVID, they are taking appropriate precautions.
James Xiong
First time coming here. Not really a sushi guy but the sushi blown me away! It was super fresh and great quality! Place looks warm and comfy, super nice staff! Best thing is the chief, they were super kind and really talked with the customers! If you want fresh great food come here! I definitely will be coming back.
cey man
As usual this is our go to Sushi & Thai restaurant, although the commute is about 20 miles or so. But for us it’s worth it. The only concern this time was the Tuna Tataki was sliced a little bit thicker than usual and we prefer the older way of sliced thinner. The cream cheese puffs which are one of my many favorites were as usual “perfect”. Also, you can’t go wrong with any of the vast selection of rolls. It does get a bit busy so I encourage you to make reservations if possible to avoid waiting/standing for a table to become available as it is not a big restaurant- but cozy.
Jessica Mastey
Amazing experience. Very tasty food and a wide variety of options. Sushi may take time depending on how many orders there are and how many sushi chefs are working. Let's be honest though, it's well worth the wait. If you want sushi asap and don't care about quality go to a grocery store, not a sushi restaurant.
They did an outstanding job. I will continue to eat there. Tempura ice cream and tempura cheesecake were both delicious. Salmon teriyaki was well made and not swimming in teriyaki sauce.
Ryan.M Harlow
Some of the most delicious food I have eaten
(More so than most other food places I have reviewed)
Prices are well within the range of reason.
All the staff seemed genuinely positive, upbeat, and friendly.
Close seating, if you don't like random strangers sitting close to you......maybe pass on this place or try and visit during very slow times.
They offer outside seating which is a pleasant option.
It gets 5 stars from me. ... ... If I was I composing this review on a day of frustrated mood, it would get 4. But the food is so tasty I can't justify only 4 stars!
Nathan Dalbec
Great sushi for the price. Big cuts for nigiri and good rolls.
Aaron Spiegle
We went here after buying a Groupon and as a fun Christmas date. We made a reservation (recommended) and were seated promptly. Unfortunately, the dining area was much too bright, where it made you feel exposed, instead of relaxed and ready to focus on your date. That would be nice of them to change, but it didn't ruin our date. The service was attentive and kept pace with our dining quite well. The food tasted delicious and we ended up with a second meal from leftovers. They serve generous entree portions and have delicious sushi rolls and cream cheese wontons.
Hella Montefiore
Wonderful Thai and sushi restaurant. On the small storefront scale, the decor is simple, modern and like the food, clean. Very nice people, attentive and polite service. Excellent soups, in particular with the coconut base. Fresh tuna sushi is delicious.
Matthew Smith
Appetizers were excellent (calamari- some of the best I have ever had and I have had it worldwide, spring rolls were excellent). Beer was nice and cold - I hate warm beer. The mains were a different story. House ramen was ok (the pork was excellent but the noodles didn't seem authentic), fried pork belly fried rice - rice was very good, fried pork belly was not good - stale, very stale. The rolls were good and sashimi was slightly above average. If you want appetizers and drinks....you can't go wrong. Just be careful on the mains.
Scott Bennet
Oh my gosh this place was amazing. We ended up here when PF Chang's was booked up; it was so much better. The menu was pretty simple, the sushi selection was fabulous (a good mix of favorites and originals) and the hot dishes we tried were amazing.
Stephen Rogness
Love this place. Who gets to have a chic yet kid-friendly neighborhood combination-sushi-Thai restaurant?? Add to that their generous weekday drinks-and-sushi happy hour menu from 5-6:30pm and you've got... The best thing ever.
Yogasue R
Although I really love the happy hour, patio & food, it's time to clean up the restaurant. The walls, booths & bathroom are dirty, a repainting is sorely needed. The restaurant has an unpleasant strong fried fast food odor. The back room needs better lighting as does the bathroom. Since they don't open until 5, shouldn't be that hard to do. Rarely is the fabulous raspberry wonton dessert actually available. There seems to be complacency since they are very busy.
Sara MacKenzie
Still our favorite sushi restaurant (even after moving across the country). Will definitely visit when we are back in Minnesota!
Aaron Furuseth
All great. First time, will not be my last. Friendly, reasonable prices, really great food. Had a wide menu selection and really enjoyed it all. Salmon skin and boat noodles particularly stood out. Bit of a wait at the door and no HH (5-630 daily) did not detract from the overall great experience.
Benjamin Splett
I've had two orders of sushi since the quarantine began. This easily blew kiku bistro out of the water. I got the sushi platter with choice of spicy salmon roll. The salmon roll I think is what really took me by suprise. Full sliced salmon, avocado, and sauce that had some kick. Most places give you a sub par comparison. Thank you BaGu. I will be visiting upon reopening 1000 percent!
Charles King
This group is always on point, we walked in (on my fiancee's birthday). There was only one server working the entire floor. They were clearly very busy. Somehow they managed to take care of everyone in a very timely fashion. I love this place. If only for the great customer service, I'll be returning soon. Not to mention, the food was AMAZING!👅❤🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Amanda Lutz
Purchased the Groupon and used it for takeout. Enjoyed fresh spring rolls, mango sticky rice, rainbow roll, sunrise roll, and spicy tuna roll. All scrumptious. Their wasabi is amazing! They adjusted ingredients for my GF diet as well. Highly recommend!
Stacy Howell
The sushi was delicious! The rolls were very good sized and the fried rice was awesome with huge pieces of fresh vegetables. We'll definitely be back!
Eli Johnson
Cozy local place with an enjoyable back patio, dedicated chefs, and great sushi
saxybeyach
The food is delectable!!
I just wish they opened earlier : /
Martine Ly
They were understaffed and we did had to wait quite some time but the food was still phenomenal. Very kind waitress.
Dan Forseth
As someone who is not an avid sushi eater, I would say this is a good place to eat sushi. I was very satisfied with the meal. the patio is fun to sit on. looks closed from the outside, but once you are in the restaurant, it is bustling with activity.
Juan Pablo Gil
Good food and service. This a small place a little loud to have a conversation.
Laurie R.
The happy hour is what keeps us locals coming back. The sushi isn’t high grade, but for the price of it during happy hour- you can’t expect the best. Servers are always fast and friendly. It’s a great little neighborhood place.
Neil S
Great spot! Super tasty. Sushi, ramen, appetizers are all bussin
Fiona Demel
A really nice neighborhood joint that makes authentic sushi and other Japanese fare. The decor is what you would expect from a joint that invests more energy in their food than the atmosphere. The seating can get a little cramped up. Service is friendly and the prices are fair.
Julia Kading
Friendly staff and delicious sushi! I love the happy hour and that is the only time I go :) The outdoor seating is really cute. Inside, it is quiet and tastefully decorated.
Ben Koch
Had a great meal here! We got a large sushi roll and the pad thai which gave the two of us a great meal with lots of flavors. Would recommend!
Gabriel Hanson
Love this place! It looks like a family run sushi place. The food is quality, staff are friendly, and the bill at the end is reasonable. They are also great for take out!
Steve K
Great service and food. Had the Shinjuku roll (which brought the heat!), Crunchy tuna (tempura shrimp and tuna), and Gaza, all delicious. Wish they had a wider selection of local beer but otherwise a great dinner
geenou yang
Was just there. Good food and very good staff. Hands down one of the best places in town . Thank to Jim for the reco. Also our waitress Kalina, was very good and helpful. Props to the sushi chef and Teng. Will see you guys again . Side note, wasabi was hands down, no comparison! Thanks again .
Aaron Jarvinen
Food is really good, but they’ve messed up multiple orders lately. Chicken when asked for tofu, wrong quantities, etc. Hoping they can turn it back around.
Shawn Murphy
I've been trying to get my wife to try sushi for almost 20 years. The presentation and visual quality of the food at Bagu finally made her relent and try some. I can't say she is now a sushi lover, but at least she's not a hater anymore.
JNB 412
Very good Sushi, great service. Went with a Groupon my wife got. I'd go back any day. Had a #9 roll, one other I forgot the name of and very fresh chicken fried rice.
Rachel Olson
There's lots of great sushi in town. This is not the best, but still good. When the mango is in season, get it while you can! Also, they have a nice patio outback that you may not know about unless you ask.
Anita Larson
Nice local restaurant. Quite small.
Sheng Lee
The food here is on point and the service is exceptional. Bagu is one of our favorite restaurants. I highly recommend. Everything on the menu is a must try, their fried wings and their sauce that comes with it...BOMB.
Lisa Braun
Fantastic service! Food was amazing and presentation was wonderful. It was a unique dining atmosphere in a fun downtown area. Would definitely go back again!
Nate Taylor
Very good quality sushi but you definitely pay for it and service is not the fastest in the world but over all love this place
Joseph Struyk
One of the best in the city. Great place for a date night or to bring home to the whole family.
Kris Lindsey
Great food and service. Highly recommend.
Alex Garcia
C'mon people, it deserves a five for sure. Here's what I recommend, one bottle of plum Fu-ki, plum wine, the chicken skewers, a crunchy roll and California roll in case you bring friends who have never had sushi. Honestly though, the service can improve. That's where the one star is missing.
Jennifer Graner
My favorite sushi restaurant! They have the best ever tuna tataki! I miss the four seasons roll. Great service! Definitely recommend.
Tim Zenner
We sat at counter. Great fun. Friendly interactive cooks. Sushi was very good. Lots of variety and cooks will customize if asked.
Del O'Loughlin
The sushi here was decent, but the service and atmosphere is not so great. We have been a few times, but the quality seems to have gone down. Probably will not return.
Rachel Newman
This place won’t knock your socks off, but it’s pretty decent sushi. Definitely go for the sushi rather than the Thai food, which is just OK. Drinks are kind of overpriced.
Jason Lawton
Great staple in the neighborhood for sushi and pad thai. Staff is always friendly. Easy for takeout.
Micah Vance
Great happy hour. Love their agadashi tofu (SP?). Nice patio when it's warm. Shady and not off a sidewalk like most are.
love sonar
Best, most authentic pad thai I've had in the city yet!!! Also, it's cute and their veggie avocado sushi was delicious! Gem!
Tiffany S
The fish is so fresh and amazing!
Han Kim
A little more spendy than other Asian places but very good. They are quite mindful of flavors and textures. Gluten free options available too.
Samantha Gillett
Good, neighborhood eatery. Prices a little high, so not an everyday stop, but definitely worth a once a week treat.
Gyoza, meh. Fried rice good, Massaman curry great.
Sam Panzer
Exceptionally tasty and great covid precautions for carry out. Highly recommend — pork belly green curry was particularly great.
Tracy Seelhammer
I liked it so much on my first visit, I returned less than a week later to try something else - and that says a lot because I live over an hour away!
Staff was friendly and helpful, food was delicious, and I'm coming back.
Julian Menne
I love this place for sushi or Thai.
Peter Lam
Absolutely amazing food. The only reason we give them four instead of five stars is that we've had problems with them being just so insanely slow. Other than that, perfect.
Dan Carroll
Used to be great now it's just so so. Only go when I have a Groupon but it's probably cheaper to just buy the happy hour sushi.
TeddyKelzTV
The staff was really nice and my pad Thai was delicious - full of flavor. I’d definitely come back for a round 2.
Nigel Naughton
It's not much of a sushi place and not much of a Thai place but does pretty good at being a little of both. It's a small place so you might have to wait a while.
Xang Thao
Great food. Their drunken noodles with big noodles is amazing.
Seung Park
Seems the consensus is correct - good quality fish - way slow service / Expect to wait some 20 - 30 minutes for an order of 8 pieces of sushi with maybe a quarter of the tables with people.
smith kate
A good sushi place,Taste was very good and price was good as well.Love this place! Atmosphere, service, and food are always amazing!
Anne Cameron
The “pad kee mao” was made with Raman noodles. The flavor was actually awesome with lots of fresh veggies and basil, but cooommme ooonnnnn, everyone knows you order pad kee mao for those awesome wife rice noodles!!
Kerstie larson
Love bagu for a nice weekend dinner. Small place so calling ahead helps! Never enough room to wait around for your table.
Nick Settich
This is the new sushi Mecca for me. Seven trips and all have been outstanding. I am waiting for Aji to be back in season. Great date place!
Mark Garrison
Delicious
Pavel Maslo
Great place! Good service! Delicious SUSHI!!! will go more! Highly recommended, also suggest to reserve table.
Dan Johnson
Delicious! Update: went again, still delicious!
I would recommend making a reservation, smaller restaurant that is busy often.
Dave Berner
Today I had the hot ginger stir fry with tofu. The food and the service were excellent, and the ambiance is always delightful.
Wa Yang
Sushi are awesome. Food service are awesome. I just loved it. Great place to dine out.
Grace H
Very friendly staff and decent sushi. Not cheap though. Glad I found a livingsocial deal prior to dinner with friends.
Dexter Lanning
Food is delicious. It always takes longer than they say it will and they'll always forget the side of spicy, but it's so good.
Austin Black
Very accommodating to our vegan diet. They even substituted the rice in our dishes for rice noodles which we love!
rohit kapoor
Tom yum soup - it was okay;
Egg roll - perfect;
Pad Thai - it was okay;
Penang curry with Tilapia - perfect;
Service - excellent;
Interiors - average
Tami Cabrera
Great service and food! The pineapple fried rice and wontons are my fave. Try their thai iced coffee!
Mike Walton
It's small and can feel a little crowded, but the sushi is excellent. It's quickly becoming a favorite.
Karen Stout
Great food. They have greatly improved take out service.
Yama247
Great sushi/ one of the best if but the best drunken noodle. Staff was awesome
Justin Dybedahl
Great place to get sushi. The staff is friendly and the rolls are nicely done and delicious.
Matt Olson
Great sushi happy hour at a nice little neighborhood spot. Will be back again for more!
Margarita Medina
Very good. Portions were smaller than I thought they would be but I would definitely recommend it and go back myself.
Silver Rolls Royce
