Small but that’s one of the reasons why we liked this restaurant! Ordered bottle of Chianti, gnocchi with 1/2 pesto and 1/2 bolognese (liked both sauces but preferred pesto with the gnocchi….which were like pillows!), Fettuccine con Spinaci e Salsiccia (loved the entire dish) and Fettuccine Verdi alla Salsiccia (delicious but order the sauce spicy but didn’t taste any spice). We will go back for the gnocchi and Fettuccine con Spinaci e Salsiccia. Plus, want to try other items.

My husband & I went to Arezzo last night for dinner, and it was delicious! The service was excellent, and our waiter Christopher was very knowledgeable of the menu. We enjoyed two of their house-made pasta dishes that they split onto 2 plates for each of us, as we wanted to share. I see a few reviews concerned about the serving size, but both my husband and I found it to be more than enough!! We were perfectly full, not stuffed. Topped off the meal with some dessert which was also great! Very highly recommend this place if you want yummy Italian food.

Such a delightful little restaurant. Excellent home made pastas, great service and a wonderful atmosphere. It is too bad this restaurant will be closing at the of January 2023.

The service and ambiance is 5-star and the lemon sorbet and decaf coffee were outstanding. Unfortunately, the only vegan option for pasta is dry (not fresh) pasta and the sauce was just “ok”. They do draw quite a crowd, so the non-vegan options are probably better.

There are few quality Italian restaurants near the cities. Arezzo does an amazing job of being a warm welcoming good food Italian spot. One entire wall is large windows which is amazing to be able to see outside while having great food. Our server was extremely helpful and warm-hearted. Definitely check this place out!

Was nice to be back at Arezzo Ristorante. The fresh bread, bubbly cocktails, and starter salads were solid, well-balanced as to taste, and nice size portions. The stone-fired pizza choice was a great portion for an adult, but could have used a bit more spice and seasoning. The pork medallion entree found the pork over-cooked, but tasty basilica glaze. And the risotto accompaniment was both rich and so flavorfully done. The kid's menu choice was good, but the four cheese sauce on the noodles was just too rich. In the end, the servers and team were strong. No one made us feel bad for bringing a 3-year old, and the prices were predictable for and Edina locale.

It would be a straight 5 star review but we had to wait 15 minutes after we arrived before someone asked if we had been helped. Had we not had reservations we likely would have left before then. After we were helped we had to wait another 10-15 for our table to be ready. That being said, the staff were all busy with customers while we were waiting. Once we were seated the service was great. I had the Penne All'Arrabbiata and asked them to add sausage and it was delicious. They are a beer and wine only restaurant. All in all I would go back and recommend it.

A small quaint restaurant. The food and service was great. They serve beer and wine. A little pricey but it's Italian food you would not find at Perkins or a fast food joint. Good date night place.

WOW! I had such high hopes for this place and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. What a hidden gem. I had the Fettucine Con Spinachi E Salscilla and it was AMAZING. So so so happy to have finally stopped in for dinner.

We really enjoyed a family dinner here. It was very tasty. The fresh made pasta was awesome. Flatbread before the meal was a nice start. Good atmosphere available for a group or a cozy couple. The outside seating is aways nice at places like these but we stayed inside. A small bar area too if you are dining alone.

Beautiful restaurant, something different and unique. This will make you feel like and Italian place which we were looking for special dinner. Food and wine menu was good. We had vegetarian dishes and glad both the dishes were very tasty.

The food here was very good and the service was very friendly. It is located in a beautiful area on a nice road. The only issue would be that there isn’t a lot of parking and we went when it wasn’t very busy so I can only imagine the parking nightmare that gets created if they get really busy.

Fantastic Italian restaurant! They have a real Italian pizza oven. Their Prosciutto e Rucola pizza took me back to Italy. It was delicious and the tomatoes in their Capellini D'angelo all' Pomodoro were so flavorful. Their featured wine for the day was a spectacular super Tuscan, perfection. They give free desserts for birthdays too. Can't speak highly enough about this place. Wasn't too busy on a Friday night, but filled up by 7, so might be worth making a reservation. Parking sucks, but there's a quiet neighborhood right behind the place, so a half a block away from free parking.

I went here on my anniversary for dinner and it was so delicious. The place is super cute and everyone working is so friendly. I made a reservation and got right in. The bread they have came out hot and was so good. I had the spaghetti carbonara and my boyfriend had the gnocchi with half four cheese sauce and half pesto sauce. They were both so good. The food came out very quickly. I went last week and might have to go again this week. I have been craving it.

Such a wonderful Italian food restaurant. Sauces taste wonderful. Good service and a cozy atmosphere. Homemade and dried pasta dishes to choose from plus main non-pasta entrees including pizza. Good dessert as well. Beer and wine only.🍝🍕

This may have been the best dinner experience I've had in the Twin Cities. Our server was so brilliant, she helped us pick a wine for the table to balance our entrees, and I'm so glad I took her recommendation of the special (a pumpkin ravioli with butter and sage). My only wish is that we would have saved room for dessert, but that just means we will have to come back soon for tiramisu.

While the food was quite delicious, I was less than impressed by the atmosphere - particularly the proximity of tables. If I had an itch on my back I could have asked someone at the table next to me to scratch it - without them having to leave their seat or even stretch that far. I know the venue is not that large compared to some other restaurants, but it was almost comical how close the seating was. While I don't make a habit of eavesdropping on nearby conversations, it was impossible not to. The server even had a difficult time delivering the meal across the table because there was hardly ample room between tables to do so. ...So, five stars for "food quality" but only two stars due to "impractical seating" averages out to three stars by this reviewer.

Wow I love this place. The ambiance, food and service is amazing. It’s pretty pricey but I think it’s worth my money - they noodles are handmade and cooked perfectly. I also had their tiramisu and it was a big portion and delicious too. This place is perfect for a date night or a meaningful dinner with friends/family. By far my favorite Italian restaurant.

The restaurant is so pretty and cosy. It actually does feel like a little place in Italy. The food was amazing - the gnocchi some of the best I have ever had ! The only reason I took a star off is Bc service was slow. Our server was suppose to bring back bread and never brought it. Nor did she come back to ask if we wanted more drinks. we did over hear her telling someone else they were short staffed so that maybe why it was lacking.

Wasn’t impressed with the food here. My gnocchi was terrible and like mashed potato balls. The tomato sauce was good though. My husband enjoyed his black ink clam pasta and it was cooked perfectly but a bit too salty. I don’t understand why oil was served with flat bread that can’t soak it up. The homemade tiramisu was quite nice and the wine list was great but surprised they didn’t have true Italian wines by the glass. The only way to get an Italian wine was to buy the bottle.

Had dinner two times in a week. Simply, the best Italian food I have had in a while. Service was excellent. The atmosphere was charming. Can't wait to go back to Minneapolis again. It will be at the top of my list.

Arezzo was an absolute treat! We celebrated my dad’s birthday at Arezzo after my husband and I had visited Italy about five months beforehand. The wine list was fun and had great selections. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. He provided a great sparkling wine recommendation and was able to appropriately answer all our questions about the food menu. The food itself was absolutely delicious! It reminded me of the pasta we had in Italy. I would highly recommend checking this restaurant out if you love Italian food and wine!

This place is amazing! Their homemade pasta is the best I’ve ever had, and the variety of pastas they offer is fantastic. My husband and I went here for our anniversary one year, and we’ve been back several times since. Their patio dining area is small but nice, and the inside is decorated quite nicely in an old Italian style. The wait staff is friendly and professional. The service is fast. And the prices are exactly what you’d expect for a place like this and worth every penny!

I love this place, travel to MSP every week on business and always looking for a local place with great food. This is it, fantastic and authentic Italian cuisine served in a great little restaurant. Service is always great, prices are very good given the quality and portion size. If your looking to escape the ordinary and shop and eat local, then this is the place. The appetizers are amazing and the homemade pasta is awesome.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in the Twin Cities. Keep in mind I like good basic Italian without all kinds of trendy ingredients. Hands down the best gnocchi I have ever had! I highly recommend getting it with half cheese half red sauce - it is amazing. I don't know how they do it, but each and every gnocchi just melts in your mouth. It is my go to place for special occasions.

Date Night! We landed at this restaurant by chance on a Friday evening and were very happy for it! Getting a table was going to be a wait, but they had a spot open at the small bar where we could get seated right away for food and drinks. The bartender (forgot her name!) was amazing. Very helpful and attentive, she helped us decide on some good drinks and food. It was fun watching her work making specialty drinks and she was very easy to talk to. The bread that you invariably get at Italian restaurants was very good, especially with the type of olive oil that you could pair it with. The thing that really made my night: deciding which sauce to put on my gnocchi...because when I asked the bartender, she said they could do 2 putting half on one side and half on the other. I love having options! Oh, and the gnocchi was incredibly delicious, no way I was going to be able to take any of it home. An excellent establishment with great service, I can't wait to make a return trip!

Great atmosphere and ambience. I took two out of town guests there to show off. The atmosphere, the ambiance, they've got it. Yet the service was real slow and clumsy. Had to get my own fresh bread. The food lacked of flavor as well as inspiration. I also noticed the portion sizes were quite small. The whole place looked like it could use a good wipe down.

When people treat you right it makes the dining experience superb! The food was delicious and everything tasted homemade all of it and the tiramisu just topped it off. If I lived closer this would be a regular place. Definitely bringing family and friends here. Thank you all for a memorable dining experience in the heart of the twin cities. I have never written a review before and have had many dining experiences at many wonderful places, but this was too special not to write something.

Excellent find. Everything on the menu is wonderful. Tonight we started out with the best server ever, Troy. My advice is order everything He suggests. The risotto special with scallops was to die for this evening. The flavorful glass of Chianti was smooth. The tiramisu delicious. This little Neighborhood Italian restaurant is a must go to.

The lemon risotto with seared scallops was amazing! Inside the restaurant the atmosphere is perfect for a catch up with friends or a romantic date. It has a cozy feel to it and looks just like it did when my family and I used to go for Birthday dinners. Thank you for a fantastic meal, Arezzo!

Great quality Italian food! The pastas and salads are amazing. I've almost never been disappointed here--I once ordered a pork chop and it was medium well, which I know some people really like because trichinosis is almost eradicated and rare red meats are somewhat sexy to epicureans for whatever reason (false pretentiousness, I suppose, which allows people to appear more knowledgeable/cultured than they really are?). Anyways, it was a bit under-cooked for my taste (but I didn't get sick or anything). I suppose that's what I get for ordering a pork chop at a phenomenal pasta restaurant.

Ended up at this restaurant unexpectedly (the restaurant we had reservations at was closed). The main pasta dish was delicious as well as the tiramisu- very good. The cocktail and creme brulee lacked flavor, plus our waiter was rude. UPDATE- I have been corresponding with the manager of this restaurant for the last couple of days, and she has been extremely kind and open to my feedback. I appreciate her taking the time to learn more about my experience so that she can provide the feedback with the staff and chef. I would be happy to go back with my husband, who loves Italian food, and give them another chance! Upgrading my rating from 3 to 4 stars!

They've changed their menu a bit, the servers (two of them) explained everything we had questions about on the menu and informed us all their vegetables come from local organic sources... so I feel okay paying more. Pretty good Italian food at the heart of the 50th and France neighborhood. For the area, there's nothing better. There's not a lot of parking next to the restaurant. You're kind of stuck with the small lot in back or street parking, with a couple of ramps nearby.

Not as nice as it once was under different ownership/management, but still very pleasant. Good food. Hostess screwed up seating and had 2 parties wait for each other at opposite ends of the place for a while before we found each other, in spite of us giving her our names.

The food and ambience were fantastic, as other posters have noted. We had a problem with the speed of service. We were seated almost immediately but it took a while before someone came and took our drink orders. Even after our orders were placed, it took a long time to get them. We could even see that the bartender had already prepared them - they were sitting on the counter but no one was delivering them. We were contemplating walking up and getting them ourselves when a manager noticed we had been sitting there at an empty table for a long time and brought us our drinks. All told, it was about 30-35 minutes between being seated and getting our drinks / placing our food order. From the other reviews, I'm guessing we went on a bad night - perhaps a server called in sick and left them shorthanded. The food was quite good, so we'd be willing to give them another chance and on that basis I'm giving them 4 stars when I was inclined to give 3.

An authentic Italian restaurant. I repeat...not an Americanized Italian menu. No kids menu but still kid friendly. The whole family enjoyed our meal. Everything was excellent. Just like my Grandma used to make!!!
