Angelo's is one of our top pizza places in the Twin Cities. I recommend the deep dish pizza 🍕 as well as any of their pasta entrees. Their homemade garlic bread is outstanding. Always friendly staff too. We have even met Angelo himself in the past. There are 8 massive booths along the sides & many tables. There's also a party room in the back The restaurant is always clean. Lots of parking available. Open for both lunch & dinner. I highly recommend Angelo's!

The time it took to make my pizza was fast. The place was clean, and the price was very much in line. The quality of the pizza was great, except for the money you pay it's a cardboard pizza (very thin). That's my only dislike to to this experience. I will go to this place again.

I have lived here for 4 years and never tried this place! I got there and there was the cutest little grandma and she was very polite and I had ordered a pizza to go! The smell of it filled my home instantly and it was amazing! Pizza tasted so good! Definitely my new fav place to order pizza. A little on the spendy side but what place isn’t these days! Okay

Angelo's has been a local favorite for decades. Myself and two friends arrived on a Tuesday evening around 7pm. We were informed that dine-in closes at 8, but the take out area is the section that is open until 9. There was only one other table with customers when we arrived. They were really chill and friendly. One friend has allergies and this is one of the places she can go where they are not only happy to accommodate her order, but she is such a regular that the server had it practically memorized. The food came out quickly and it was a very pleasant experience.

Menu items were not clearly labeled as having meat in them. It would have been much better had an item that had meat in it, been clearly labeled. I wish they would mark things that are vegetarian on the menu to resolve this issue for future patrons. Despite this struggle, the staff were accommodating to figure out a vegetarian option.

I love Angelo’s Pizza. I used to order years ago from a different store before I moved out of state. I recently moved to IGH and am stoked to be back close to Angelo’s! I get the thin crust (it’s not super thin) which has a tasty crust, lots of cheese and a tangy, homemade sauce. My current go-to is Sauerkraut and Hot Pepper Rings. You’d be surprised how good that combo is. The people who work there are genuinely good people who will put you in a great mood - it’s a family run business since the 70s. Go. To. Angelo’s!

Wednesday, January 26,2022 Update: It has been several months since my last review. My pizza and Hot Dago were absolutely scrumptious tonight. Not one of many delivered meals do I have a complaint about. The food no matter what on the menu has always been top rated in my opinion. To my delivery drivers, I try to make sure those steps to the 3rd floor are safe during these winter months. Thanks, Eppie Update: I can’t say how much I appreciate the response since my last review. It’s been over 30 orders for delivery and each time your delivery drivers arrive at the correct door. Also, the food is Amazing. It does not mater what you order. Thank you, Angelo’s. Wow. Amazing once again. Love the food. Nothing to complain about the food. However, the delivery service is far from what it should be. Every time I call for delivery I leave specific instructions. Only because apartment building I am in is unique. So, after each order for delivery I express the exact staircase to ascend. But no, like some messed up cartoon the delivery drivers do not pay attention to the details. I accepted the delivery from the wrong door this time but no more in the future. You know who I am. I have called and politely expressed my concern. I will continue to order for delivery but if the instructions are not followed in the future, I will cancel the order and expect a full refund. Normally I do not do reviews but the icing on the cake was to receive a call from same manager I complained to telling me they have no record of the credit card payment. Then find the receipt after a minute into the call. No I did not tip the driver the $5.00 I had ready by the correct door. Because he came to the wrong door, No Tip. Communication is very important, if your order taker does not relay delivery instructions then it’s all a waste of time. Eppie from apt. #3

Friendly, competent and respectful staff. On our visit service that anticipated our needs. Pizza was tasty though hard pressed to match pizza from our local pizzeria on St. Paul's North End. If I lived in SSP I would have no issue with Angelo's as our neighborhood pizzeria.

A hidden gem in South Saint Paul. It is well worth the trip to stop in and try anything on the menu. Italian fries (cheese breadsticks) are the best that I have ever had! Pizza = delicious, Calzone = perfect, Service = THE BEST! Do yourself a favor and stop by Angelo’s in SSP. We’ll be back and we plan on bringing our friends and family.

Our waitress was so friendly with every single person that came in, and seemed to know many of the patrons. She was very on top of it. The food was very very good, I had a salad and a hoagie. The dressings were house made as well. Very delicious!

My girlfriend and I get delivery from here all the time. Pretty much all of their food is amazing...pizza, ravioli, manicotti, stuffed shells. Their sausage links are awesome. You really can't go wrong with anything. Plus the best part is they always say it'll be about 30 to 40 mins for delivery but it never takes that long.

We order delivery or pick up often for many years. Pizza is really good. Cut in little squares. Cheesy with the best sauce and sausage. Try the Italian fries for sure. Also love the antipasti salad with creamy Italian dressing. A size large salad will serve the whole family a helping on the side.

Best local Italian restaurant. Small town service, excellent prices for the portions, and the best hamburger pizza I've had. Standard Italian dishes, but all of them are done well. Even when we had a long wait for our food, we were given free pizza and a large coupon for our next visit. If you want good food and also want to eat local, Angelo's is a great choice.

We dined in at this neighborhood pizza place and it had the ambience of the old time (non-chain) pizza places. They also serve other Italian dishes. We've been ordering takeout (they also deliver) from them for years. They offer gluten free pizza which I have not tried.

I ordered over the phone last week and they had my large order ready at the time I requested, brought it out to my car, and the order was 100% right. The food (pizza, italian fries, and anti-pasta salad) were excellant and the customer service was too. I was very happy to support a locally family owned business and will continue to give them my business even after this pandemic.

By myself, Wed, lunch about 1:15.. rush was over. I had the all you can eat spaghetti, it comes with 3 meatballs, salad and garlic bread. Service and food were excellent. My first time there, not my last.

Was there with a few other people and we all had different items.....all where very good. Service was great! Prices are very reasonable. They have fresh made pie for desserts - and that was also very good. I recommend this little restraunt for some good food, but be ready for a possible wait depending upon what time you come. We got lucky and were able to get a table right away. I will be back here to try some other times soon!

It took me around 3 years to convince my husband to drive over to SSP to try this place my family has been going to for years. Now, this is my husband's FAVORITE local pizza. When we were on VACATION he asked me 3x about getting Angelo's deep dish pizza when we get back into town. I personally really love the regular crust. My mom loves the baked Ziti. Either way, the staff is always friendly for eat in or pick up and we are never disappointed by the food or staff.

Good pizza and great service. If you're expecting a decent amount of toppings go elsewhere. I ordered sausage and asked them to put it on top because they usually put it under the cheese and now I know why. There was only 10 pieces of sausage on my whole pizza. Not cool. If a pizza restaurant is gonna charge you 2.50 extra for one topping it shouldn't be skimpy.

I am a long time customer to the other location on White Bear Ave. I was a little reluctant on trying s st paul because I didnt think it was be as good. But I was in the area and was not disappointed. They have a large dine in area. I was told half hour for carryout but they were super busy so it ended up being 45 mins. My review of the other location as far as ingredients and taste are the same. I love it.

Bar none, the BEST pizza around for South St. Paul. It's a community staple, and that's because of the excellent staff and ownership. If you don't go there and have their pizza, it's almost a wasted trip. However, their other food is great too, but they KNOW how to make pizza!

Best price for a pizza in town. I asked several other pizza locations what the cost was for a 10' and delivery. My answer was around 8-10 dollars extra. Angelo's charges 1.50 for pizza delivery I think that is awesome. I am never going to any other pizza eatery for half the price and still good pizza. I got good service over the phone. mmm, I'm coming hear again.

Angelos is a great place for all things American Italian food. When I'm not ordering their excellent cracker crust style pizza or some of the best pizza fries ive ever had, i tend to go with one of my favorite menu items, the chicken baked spaghetti. It is wonderful in every way. Always hot and fresh. You can count on consistent food quality and friendly staff. Average prices for what you get. If you are lazy like we are most of the time, then take advantage of their delivery. I would definitely recommend Angelos to any pizza, or Italian American food lover.
