Reviews of Amore Uptown
This place couldn't be more appropriately named... You'll fall in love with all there is to offer at the finest Italian eatery in the uptown area. A few blocks out from beautiful Bde Maka Ska, along historic W Lake St., you're immediately greeted by the classic charm of Amore. Two stories, including rooftop dining and eloquent interior dining. The menu is modest, while featuring plenty of authentic offerings with flavor that doesn't disappoint. The staff is friendly and helpful which makes for a very inviting dinner. Perfect for date night!
This is more of an Italian-American place, so I would not recommend pasta here unless you want to have essentially an upscale version of Olive Garden. But many people are happy with that and the rooftop deck is gorgeous. I had a great cheeseburger and glass of wine and enjoyed myself. Service is friendly and helpful.
I went here with my friends. First of all, I loved all the items I have tried - pasta, chicken, lasagne. There is a bar also. Love the indoor sitting vibe as well. Starters are really great too. The price is on little higher side but It is not too high for the quality of food I received. The service was also great. Will definitely visit again to try the food. Just for the food.
If I could give this restaurant more stars I would!! 🤩 this is my first time in MN and from this experience alone I was marveled. This spot had some one the most delicious brunch meals I’ve ever had. The servers were super nice and courteous making sure all our needs were met. Even though their brunch menu didn’t have too many selections all the items are so worth it!! Super affordable, filling and delicious! Definitely coming back next time I’m in town.
Ravioli di pesto was delicious & perfectly portioned. I also had the La mela cocktail and we shared the cheesy garlic bread. Wonderful experience.
Best brunch spot in the area. Amazing whole-sum breakfast food✅ bottomless memosas✅ Espresso martini?! Yup✅ awesome service✅ fun Italian ambiance ✅ can’t wait to come back to try dinner!
Really great service, awesome Italian food and the only halal Italian place in the twin cities area.
I've been here multiple times with family and friends, groups large and small and never been disappointed! Service and flexibility is always top notch!
The vibe of their deck is great, and in the winters the in door seating is just as good.
Food is of course, great otherwise why would you eat at a restaurant if not for their great food.
Highly recommend!
Quiet rooftop with ample seating and no wait! Perfect for a summer date night. Food was excellent and flavorful.
What a charming place with delicious fresh made pasta! We had the Amore rolls and they were the perfect amount of crunch to ricotta to pesto. The marinara was a pleasant surprise to add to it. And the cherry tomatoes were dipped in garlic and delicious. For entrees, we had the gnocchi and the scallops. Equally delightful. Definitely recommend!! We couldn't decide because the entire menu looked delicious and we can't wait to go back. Also, Nicole was such a wonderful server and host, she made us feel right at home!
Delicious food (Pasta Milan in photo), decent rooftop - however there are maybe 10 tables overlooking the street (they were unable to provide us those seats due to a "grad party"). The floorboards are questionable (i.e. weight endurance) and the umbrellas were ready to fly/fall any second.
Before COVID-19, I ate out often. I pretty much never did take out, and during the pandemic I've really learned that a lot of my enjoyment of food comes from its presentation. Amore is one of the few places I have found who has retained that experiential part of dining in with their take out. The food remains delicious, and the presentation -- while not the same as dining in -- is a step above normal takeout. It's not just did crammed into the smallest box possible.
When it's a little warmer, I look forward to being back on the rooftop patio. In the meantime, takeout was fast and worth it. I'm currently avoiding eating inside anywhere, but they are open with reservations for indoor dining if you're doing that. Before all this they had a great brunch, and I look forward to experiencing that again!
(Note: the beet salad pictured is actually partially eaten. It's a good portion size.)
Came across this place when me and my friends were trying to find a new place to try on our travels. We really like the food. Wanted to come back the next time we were in town only to be told their closing. That really sucks, cuz this is really good food and the staff are really friendly. Im so sad
Calamari was small but delicious. The herbs sprinkled on amazing ripened tomatoes with perfectly toasted bread. Bruschetta in its purest form. If you love garlic. Mushroom passion is by far the reason why you are coming here. One could only hope as you die this flavor comes to your mouth.
Great service, atmosphere is fun !! Bottomless Mimosas are only $10 for Sunday brunch! I enjoyed the chicken and waffles. The chicken could have used a bit more flavor but the waffle was great!
Jen was absolutely phenomenal, thank you so much for your hospitality! The food was scrumptious - can’t wait to be back. *chefs kiss*
Great roof deck! Food was delicious and servers were great and very accommodating for those of us on business. (All separate checks). Try the cheese garlic bread 🥖 ! Great apps too! …
Great Italian food. As you can see the kids liked the deserts as well.
Hmmm... honestly we had high hopes for this place, but were a little disappointed. First of all, it was nice when we walked in and the scent of delicious Italian food permeated the air (read garlic). Some of the food was better than others, but the biggest disappointment was the chicken parmesan. It actually had what looked like a white Kraft single melted on top of the chicken! Are you kidding me! They can't even be bothered with real mozzarella! Well I guess I can't be bothered to go back. Go at your own risk.
We sat on the rooftop on a weeknight. The rooftop can be accessed through from the back. Front entrance will be inside the restaurant. It was quiet and cozy. Not exactly in uptown where the loud, rowdy crowd is, but in walking distance if you decided to meet up some friends for drinks afterward. The service was fast and friendly and the food was flavorful and fresh.
The food was good. The pasta was overcooked, imo. I prefer an al dente pasta. The fries slap.
Service, food, and location are all great. Plenty of seating and nice areas for large or private parties.
A sentimental favorite perfect for a romantic dinner or whiling the evening away on the pleasant patio during "good weather" months. This is where my wife and I had our first date, and we love going back ... if looking for a restaurant for your own date we hope you end up loving it as much as we did, and end up with a version of "our table" (and thank us later!)
We had a wonderful dinner at Amore Uptown. It was a large group, so had to make two reservations, but luckily that could accommodate all of us on one table. The food was delicious - everyone enjoyed what they ordered.
I was nervous about going there after reading some of the reviews. The waitstaff and spotty service level was a key issue. Our experience was totally opposite. Our waiter was Hayley and she was amazing. She made our evening both enjoyable and memorable.
Just ok, which is a bummer because the patio and service was outstanding. They maybe just need to update and refresh their menu. My wine was delicious though! Maybe go for drinks!?!!
The rooftop patio was nice! My food was totally delicious. The bartender was very nice.
Food was just OK. Parm fries upgrade not worth the extra cost.
Waiter had major "OK boomer" additude.
Go elsewhere
Always good food and not super expensive! It makes a good place to go if you want a quieter place for a date. The service is always nice and friendly too.
Great Italian spot near the heart of uptown. Enjoy after a walk around lake Bde Maka Ska and make sure you to save room for dessert! They got all your favorites including a chocolate torte and a mouth watering Tiramisu.
Highly recommend the Salmon and Chicken Parmigiani as entrees!
I will add pictures on my next visit as I am certain to return. I thought the dinner and drinks menu was outstanding. I opted for an aperol spritz cocktail starter. For dinner I had a delish plate of scallops. My companion selected a lasagna that he described as incredible. He normally saves half his meal for the next days lunch and could not do it this time. Service was awesome.
Ordered take out and the food was amazing! Had to be careful since the pans were so hot when taking out of the bag.
Cumbersome to get in and get a table, not very friendly host. The food was nice and the rooftop is not bad
So I came here for dinner on a date. And it was phenomenal we had pesto ravioli and gnocchi. So then the next week we showed up for brunch The bottomless mimosas which were in as strong as I thought but still good. The servers are always great... They'll talk to you not just check on you and I mean the food is unforgettably addictive. So I'll be back. Onlxz the rooftop is open but honestly it's been such a beautiful summer like you might as well.
We went here for my birthday, we didn't know you needed a reservation but the hostess still found us a seat, which was on the rooftop might i add super cool never have i ate on a rooftop. The bartender was very helpful on finding us a drink, explained his drinks well, the menu had plenty of selection. The wait didn't take very long with as many people that they had.. I'm a big pasta eater an most places skimp on sauce an pasta usually dry or hard edges.. "NOT THIS PLACE" I ordered the ravioli stuffed with ricotta with half loaf of sour dough en everything came perfect noodles where soft an warm the sauce was good portioned the sourdough came with oil an cheese an I loved to dunk it in the sauce I had with the ravioli I had. The bartender also heard it was my birthday an surprised me with desert with a candle thier traditional donuts which where also delicious... I highly recommend
Alfredos fettuccine with added chicken is worth driving a thousand miles for lucky me I'm in walking distance
Really good salmon. My wait staff was very attentive. It was a Great experience. Thank you.
Great food, horrible service. We had a guy waiting on us Sunday morning who appeared to have rolled out of bed and gone straight to the restaurant. He seemed much more interested in chatting up the waitresses and his buds that worked there, than actually waiting on customers. Pretty much ruined what would otherwise have been an xlnt experience.
Oh, it appears the cops are still allowing drag racing on lake street. Our breakfast w discussion was twice broken up by some jerk who seemed interested in racing between Hennepin and Bde Maka Ska (Lake Calhoun) and back in front of the restaurant.
Delicious food, bottomless mimosas that keep on flowing, and best of all awesome service! We went in to celebrate a friend's big 3-0 and Nicole was great! She made sure we were well taken care of and we all had a blast!
The food is consistently delicious. We have never been disappointed in the food or drinks. Our service is also consistently great. We have yet to have a server who appears unhappy in their role.
The food was good as always! The staff was maybe too overwhelmed that day as we didn’t get two out of five items we ordered.
Food was delicious. Empty at lunch. Easy to get a table.
Excellent. Staff is good. Nice ambiance. And the best lasagne I have ever had. No exaggeration. Rich and spicy but not too spicy. Large portion but not super heavy. It was the best I ever tasted.
Rich flavorful food, attentive service, and a wide selection of drinks to choose from. Always enjoy coming here, some of the daily specials are excellent and make it a, dare I say, thrifty option at times. But even at full price everything is well worth it here!
Great place for brunch. The food and service was five star.
Everything from the appetizers to desserts was phenomenal! Ravioli dipesto... yum!! Food was fast and fresh! Perfectly timed between courses as we ordered appetizers at the same time as our entrees. Staff (Brigid was our server) are friendly and engaging. We went out of our comfort zone with some unfamiliar drinks... and we were not disappointed! A must try.. even for non whiskey drinkers.. is the Elvis Presley! If you have not tried this place yet, you really should!
This turned out not to be quite what I was looking for. I went last night for impromptu Italian dinner with a friend. I rarely crave Italian so I had no idea where to go. Honestly, I guess I just liked the name and the location! (It was an impulse decision?) That said, the rooftop patio is nice, and I would go here for a quick drink with friends or when meeting someone new. I miiight give it another try for dinner in the future.
I think the menu is overpriced. For what you get, both in volume and quality, it could be better. Google maps lists it as $$ (comparable to Pizza Lucé) but it’s really closer to $$$. We definitely could have scoped the menu online beforehand to figure that out but this was a super last minute decision.
Speaking of the online menu, holy bad UX design! You can’t find things on the menu because everything is hidden behind buttons (which are also not super noticeable)! If you’re gonna do QR code menus, maybe hire a great information architect or UX generalist to make sure your website doesn’t suck..?
I had the LASAGNE (Layers of pasta, ricotta, ground beef, and mozzarella served with a housemade meat sauce $20) and it was honestly not great. I would say Pizza Lucé’s is definitely better—at half the price and a more generous serving! The pasta layers were overcooked and there was way too much ground beef. In every layer? I just...I think no thank you. Maybe in one layer! Or leave the beef to the sauce. 🤷♀️
My friend had the MUSHROOM PASSION (Wild mushrooms, balsamic cream sauce, parmigiano, served over fedellini) with shrimp (which unexpectedly turned out to be baby shrimp lol). It said $19 on the menu but came out to $25 with the shrimp. Her dish was great and I wish I’d ordered THAT.
The takeaway: if you don’t know what to order, maybe stick to the house specialities.
We also ordered GARLIC CHEESE BREAD (Fresh baked sourdough bread, topped with house-made garlic butter and mozzarella cheese. Served with marinara $10). The sauce was amazing and the bread was pretty good too. I wished I’d gotten the Calamari instead though!
For drinks, my friend had the CASABLANCA (Botanist Gin, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur, Bisol Jeio Prosecco, lime juice and simple syrup $12). I thought it was a little too sweet—but it was also nice n tart. I asked our waitress to recommend something to pair with my lasagna. She brought me a red wine. I can’t be sure which one (oops.) but it was smooth. (Maybe it was the CHIANTI CLASSICO? (Cavaliere D Oro, Tuscany, Italy $10/$35.)) It didn’t quite pair with the lasagna though! Oh well. Still good.
And for the grand finalé, DOLCE! We were lured in by the proposition from our waitress, so nice up selling lol. We went with her recommendation of the PANNA COTTA ($8 – per wiki: sweetened cream thickened with gelatin and molded. The cream may be aromatized with coffee, vanilla, or other flavorings.). I’d never had it but my friend was like, oh yes. Can I just say, this made the entire meal?! It was *so* good. Delicious.
Since this is Covid, I’m just extremely grateful there are places still open for service. Most importantly, it was safe for everyone (proper social distancing and all the staff wearing masks). I tipped well, about 22%, as per usual for Covid. I failed to double check that gratuity wasn’t automatically included though, but I decided they deserve it. #pandemic
I left full with enough food for a second meal, had good conversation, and enjoyed a pleasant atmosphere. So 3 stars overall!
First time on the rooftop and what an experience. Nothing beats drinks in the sun! The bartender Marcus was such a delight, knew the menu and what to recommend. Going off his hints did not disappoint, will for sure be back possibly at night as it looks like it would be beautiful ambiance.
Claim to have daily happy hour from 3-6 but did not honor it when there on Sunday. A worker said “why do people keep asking that?”
..it’s on your website.
We hosted an anniversary party in the wine cellar on Saturday November 9th. We live out of state so booked this entire event online and through phone and email correspondence. First off, Corey, one of the managers, helped answer all of our questions, book the event and was fantastic to work with. He was extremely helpful and personable. We were impressed with both of our servers that worked the event. They deserve a raise!! They really treated us like family and made all of our guest feel like a priority. The room was set up beautifully and had a wonderful ambiance. It really had a soft romantic feel we were hoping for. We had 34 people at our dinner and they fit well in the space. We chose to do Menu option #2 and were so happy we did. Our guest went on and on about how delicious the food was! We would highly recommend this restaurant for you to celebrate a special event. We would do it all over again.
My experience was... Fine. Okay. Run of the mill.
You can tell this place really caters to the brunch crowd with all the banners about unlimited mimosas strewn about. I had the Bolognese which was served in a sizzling skillet and it looked great simply based on presentation. The meal was a tad bland and could have used more seasoning. The sauce particularly didn't have alot of character, a touch more garlic and oregano would have helped in that sauce up the flavor factor. Pricing is pretty typical for a sit-down restaurant in Uptown, the service was good simply, but then again it's hard to get bad service when you're seated at the bar. Will I be seeking this place out again for another meal? Probably not.
I adore Amore!! The menu is well crafted, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the staff are fantastic. Even when all tables were filled the wait staff and hostesses remained calm and attentive. I’m excited to visit more often, they’ve earned themselves another frequent customer!
Wow! What a great restaurant!
Having driven past Amore Uptown for years, we finally met friends for dinner here. It is an awesome neighborhood restaurant. The freshly made pasta is outstanding. Sauces and other ingredients are very well blended with a wonderful presentation of Italian cuisine. Service is prompt, professional, and courteous, and there was little waiting on the food to arrive (it was not a busy Friday night surprisingly). The seafood was well prepared and very tasty. Wine and beer was served at the perfect temperatures, with good portions for the price.
The only item that could improve is the complimentary bread - simply white bread without a crust that I would expect from an Italian restaurant, and olive oil.
It was a very fair price for an excellent evening. I highly recommend this place. And the parking lot in the rear is safe and very well lit. (a bit tight for all the MN SUV's, but a nice convenience to offer in busy Uptown.
I’ve been here multiple times for dinner (which is always excellent & fairly priced!) but today was the first time I’ve gone for brunch. It was one of the best brunch experiences I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for bottomless mimosas in the cities, go here! Some places with this offer skimp on refills, but our waitress continuously came around before ours were even at the half way point. The food was incredible (eat the little tomatoes on the side!!) and was out in five minutes. No wait to be seated, affordable, you can watch the game, and this is not just the mimosas talking—but this is an absolute hidden gem. For the quality, I was surprised they weren’t completely booked. Everything I’m looking for in a Sunday morning brunch is here.
This place is overall great! The mushroom pasta was SO delicious, but I'd skip the sourdough bread - it was bland. Service was good too. It's going to be very hard to keep the rooftop open, though. It was so cold and the heaters didn't really do much.
Bravo!! Great atmosphere and such a relaxing place to soak in the sun with a special someone. We came here to enjoy a couple drinks "walking distance preferably". They were amazing. The Old Fashioned was on point! Yum. The weather was perfect and I am thankful for all the staff for being so friendly. I wish I could see the indoor dining for the Italian Theme but maybe some other time. Due to Covid we couldn't check it out fully. But looking forward in the near future hopefully. Thanks Amore !!
This was AMAZING! First time I have ever gone! Heard about them on Twin Cities Live, thought we would try it! It was the best Italian food we ever had! We did the family spaghetti and meatballs and chicken parmigiana! Generous portion, with delicious Caesar and baby green salads with bread and dessert! I will definitely be back!❤️
We were looking for something late evening on the way to our hotel in downtown. Parking was easy, free and behind the building. Warm welcome and were greeted immediately. Our server was phenomenal, attentive and offered delicious specials. The food was amazing, and quickly arrived after we ordered. We were not rushed, and the atmosphere was cozy, and authentic. Plus, the gluten free options were practically endless and you must try the potatoes! I cannot say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be back.
We were seated on the rooftop patio quickly and our server had our drink orders shortly thereafter. The server had great knowledge of the menu and helped us each pick a dish we would like. The food was very good, I opted for the Chicken Parmesan and my date had the Gnocchi. 10/10 would recommend, it is a great date spot!
My husband and I have dined at Amore Uptown over the years and it just keeps getting better. We recently ordered curbside pick-up for our anniversary dinner and we were so pleased with how 1) tasty the food was 2) how well it was boxed and packaged and 3) that all of our food was warm after unpacking and serving. We both had pasta dishes, home-made sourdough bread, amore rolls, and tiramisu. It was divine!
The staff at Amore has always been accommodating and kind and we can't wait for the rooftop to open this Spring! Even though we live further away from Uptown now, we think this spot is, without a doubt, worth the drive! Thanks Amore Uptown for making our Anniversary dinner so special.
The entire restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious and the portion sizes seemed a little larger than I had expected, a pleasant surprise. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and quick. For the restaurant being full I was expecting the service to be a little slower (because of being busy).
The only complaint I have is the description of the cheesecake lead us to believe it was plain, but it did come with a strawberry sauce and blueberries.
As others have stated, the parking lot in the back is smaller, so you may have to anticipate a walk. I thought the short walk we had was well worth it.
My wife and I hosted our Friday night rehearsal dinner at Amore Uptown and were very happy with our selection. From the first time we met with their staff they were clear and helpful which made our night run smooth. During the process, my parents worked with them to select the menu for our guests and when were arrived, the food and prepared and presented exactly how we imagined. The space was clean and perfect size for our group of 35 adults. Amore was also a great location and many of our guests enjoyed their rooftop patio when our dinner was finished. We would highly recommend Amore Uptown for future events.
We have loved this restaurant since it opened. Our favorite in Minneapolis. The food is consistently delicious. We have never been disappointed in the food or drinks.
Went there for brunch. Bottomless mimosas were flowing. Our waitress came over and filled our glasses without us having to ask which was nice. It was a cool atmosphere. Bathrooms were clean. Our waitress was nice and on top of things. I had the french toast my cousin had the eggs. Would go there again.
This used to be one of our favorite places but the last few visits the food quality has gone from great to just a little better than good.
I am not sure if we'll go back here since the quality of food just does not match the price anymore.
Service is still superb though which is they get 4 stars instead of 3.
Went last week to visit my daughter who lives in uptown about two blocks away from this restaurant. Service was fast, friendly, and food was excellent. Our food was ready before we were even half finished with our drinks! Loved, loved, loved the lasagna! Prices are in line for what you pay in uptown. Rooftop was fabulous on a nice summer night!
Tried chicken parm with fettuccine sauce and loved every bite of it. Above all, the food here is Halal!
Love coming here for bottomless mimosas!
Fun rooftop vibe, get reservations ahead of time if you have 4 or more in the summer. Great place to watch a sunset over Lake Street if you're on the edge. The moon hit my eye like a big pizza pie. That's Amore.
Amore rooftop is the perfect spot for a happy hour with some girlfriends or date night with a significant other! The food was phenomenal and the servers were all very friendly. Plus, you get a good portion of food with the happy hour small plates for a great deal.
Amore is one of my favorite brunch spots uptown. Their breakfast hashes and pizza are tasty, the staff are friendly and they stay on top of it with filling up their bottomless mimosas!
One of my favorite brunch spots! The menu isn't huge but it's nice and diverse -- I've loved everything I've ordered. The $4 brunch drinks are great. I hosted a bridal shower brunch here a few weeks ago and the staff made the event PERFECT. They were responsive, flexible, accommodating, and even threw in a few extra "treats" for the table and for the bride-to-be! Our server was also so sweet and attentive, even though I know large groups can be stressful (I wish I could remember his name!). Highly recommend!
Living just down the street, and working locally as a real estate agent, I am immersed in my community. I LOVE Amore. Their staff is fun, the food is so flavorful and the portions are generous. I'm looking forward to the upstairs patio being open again. I highly recommend this local gem.
Wonderful, romantic restaurant with good food. Call in advance and get the lovers Corner if you're planning a special evening. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and go back again! Especially if you love Italian food. If loud noise or background noise bothers you make sure you make them aware of it and come at an earlier time when they are less busy. Or, you may be disappointed that you were unable to hear the people at your table that you are with.
AMAZING food, when I say amazing it doesn't do it justice! Spectacular service, Brigid was awesome, timely, respectful and actually cared about our experience! Management was phenomenal as well, made sure our vist was great and everything was to our liking! Will 1000% be back, the staff made it a great 1st experience!
We highly recommend going here on a Monday, when they have half off any bottle of wine and four or five options for a $10 pasta dish. Excellent main courses, a great recommendation for our bottle of wine, and amazing service by our server, Mark. However, the mussels were recommended by the staff and after eating them we agreed that they were by far the worst mussels we've ever had before (chewy, rubbery, tough and kind of a fishy, almost sour flavor).
Great restaurant, just go elsewhere for seafood.
This was my first time at Amore and I was impressed! We had a group of 9 for Sunday brunch (with a reservation). They had our table set and ready to go (they often don't for some reason). The waiter was very attentive to water/drink refills the entire time. He was knowledgeable about the food when someone in our group with allergies asked about ingredients. I am keto and just didn't feel like a salad but he allowed me to order the frittata with a small spinach salad (with white vinaigrette) as a substitute for the potatoes and toast. Both items were delicious. The french toast looked amazing and the chicken parmigiana sandwich was huge (I snuck a fry and it was delicious). I will definitely return for the delicious food and great service!
My favorite place to come for weekend brunch! My boyfriend and I have been coming here for a long time and we always have the best service. The food is delicious, mimosas are yummy & the staff are on top of everything! We come here often and the staff remembers us each time which is always a good feeling!
Great neighborhood spot, unlike the uptown crowd - quiet, chill and friendly service. Good is decent - I love going for their daily happy hour from 3-6pm, that includes food and great drink specials - most wine is $6. Great to cozy up in a table or chat with the bartender at the bar.
I stopped by for drinks only, so I cant comment on the food. But I will say the drink I had was amazing! A Peanut butter whiskey, very well done. Good drink menu selection with some solid cocktails. Nice atmosphere as well.
Service and food was great. Loved the rooftop seating area. Very clean. Love their text reminders about your reservation. Atmosphere was friendly our waitress was great.
I can't say enough great things about this place. I went with large party (80+) and the staff, the food, drinks, oh the desserts and the atmosphere was amazing from beginning to end. I don't think the whole party left unsatisfied. We always had our glasses full and very well taken care of. Highly recommend for a large party or a simple date night with your significant other.
Amazing pasta and drinks! Great service, a warm and cozy setting. Cannot say enough about how friendly everyone is there!!! Great specials too!
Had a great time on the rooftop patio for brunch. Wife did chicken and waffles and I had hobo skillet. Staff and sever were very attentive and drinks were great.
My wife and I celebrated our 1st year anniversary on the roof top patio, and it was romantic and amazing. We enjoyed a glass of wine, and our meal was very tasty . The staff was very friendly. After dinner we took a stroll around near by Lake Calhoun. Highly recommended.
I loved the small restaurant vibe. The food was great. I ordered 2 meals because I wanted sweet and savory. Breakfast burrito was straight 🔥. Then I had the French toast and I dremt about it last night again. V good. I also love that they support Big Brothers Big Sisters program, as I am a big sister. …
We we're downstairs for a proposal/birthday party. Nice, comfortable and cozy spot for private parties. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The food was fantastic! I didnt have any drinks so can't speak to that. But would recommend either for a nice meal let a cozy smaller private party.
My fiance and I went here for an engagement celebration. Our waitress, very sweet, gave us a celebratory bottle of champagne (totally unexpected... how sweet?!) The co-owner, Tim, also came over during dinner to check on us and to congratulate us as well. The food here is amazing. Great italian selections. The signature cocktails are also bomb! I have yet to go to their rooftop brunch on the weekends, but I hear they do unlimited mimosas. Definitely an uptown favorite.
OMG this place is amazing and totally worth the trip. We came from an hour away to try this place out and i will be back. The atmosphere was so (embraces self in a hug). The food is the best part. Special drinks were amazing and the burger... the dessert... we ate way too much but it was so amazing.
Amore Uptown was an outstanding restaurant - the food was incredible and the wine was to die for! Furthermore, the service went above and beyond expectation - when the bathroom line got backed up, the kitchen staff was quick to offer up their own staff restroom. This is a reflection of the kind of personable experience you will get at Amore Uptown! Highly recommend!
I was here for a dinner date. The food was lovely and the ambiance was intimate. In the summer their rooftop is open. They also have a full bar which is nice. The food is very tasty. The restaurant is clean and the servers are friendly. The bar is downstairs so if you want a more quiet evening, you might opt for the dining room upstairs.
I love this place. Their Italian cuisine is to die for. They have a very good selection of foods to try for all types of Italian love. I highly recommend trying any of their veal dishes. Wine select is vast as well. The service is always pleasant. They do have a roof top patio but service is very slow on the roof top and can turn into an hours long visit so I always dine inside.
I went to Amore Uptown for a dinner with my Little Sister that I mentor, because Amore had sponsored a "Palentine's" meal for Big Brothers Big Sisters. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food delicious, plus there were several kid-friendly options available. I had the Pasta Milan, which was creamy and we'll seasoned, and my Little had the most upscale chicken fingers I've ever seen! More importantly, the staff was so kind and attentive. My Little thought at first it might be too fancy and intimidating, but she was soon remarking about how nice everyone was. It was a great night out, plus Amore is a business worth supporting, since they also give back to the community.
Went there with my girlfriend for our anniversary. Comfortable ambience. Very friendly service. Amazing food! Their tomato basil soup is to die for...!! Can go there just for their soup and bread. Gnocchi was very good, and tiramisu was excellent. Great Italian place uptown for a fun date!!
This restaurant is a heaven in uptown. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Reservations on a busy night were a breeze. We went with a large group. Family night out. We were seated within one to two minutes of arriving about 20 mins early. Our server was very delightful pleasant and we'll informed person. Food arrived quickly and was warm. Everyone appreciated the variety and taste. Ambiance is casual and booze level is loud but this is over the weekend.
Meat is halal and that is a huge plus.
This place is a a definite stop over while visiting the twin cities and eating out. Free parking is available in the back. Parking meters on the street.
First time I had mussels and they were so fresh and quite tender. My entree was called Pasta Bella and it was very flavorful and each bite was a treat. I loved the atmosphere in this restaurant...charming old style Italian decor.
Have only been here for brunch, but love it every time! Awesome selection that is affordable and high quality for the price, and great bottomless mimosas (of which you truly never see the bottom, because they refill them so fast). Fast and kind service and a great atmosphere. Would recommend Amore to anyone for brunch.
I love this place. Always good service and great food. The rooftop patio is really fun too.
I frequent this restaurant for their weekend brunch. $6 bottomless mimosas and I highly recommend the breakfast burrito. The skillets taste good but are a small portion size. They have a great sunny rooftop for summertime dining. Service can be pretty slow at times.
My favorite restaurant in Uptown! I go there as much as I can. I’ve been celebrate my birthday a couple of times with them, it’s perfect to have a special dinner with your closest friends!! The staff is really nice and kind, all the time being around you asking if everything is ok! And the food?? Omg the best, big portions and great flavor. Absolutely I recommend it!
Amore provides an extraordinary experience. With 3 levels, each of which offering a competely unique and extravagant environment, this is a must go to restaraunt. The rooftop seating area and bar is beautiful for nice summer nights. The main floor has great seating with classic Italian design. The bottom level is essentially a wine cellar that features wine tasting and more dining tables. Overall, the food was excellent, and the service was just as great. This is a great choice of a place to eat with your family or friends for many different occasions. I will 100% be back. Highly recommending Amore!!
Amore Uptown offers refreshing seasonal drinks and delicious Italian cuisine with great service. The rooftop, main-level dining room, and downstairs wine tasting room offer unique atmospheres that cater to a variety of people. I recommend this friendly restaurant to all.
I have never been treated better at a restaurant before in my life. My wife and I celebrated our 1st anniversary here and they pulled out all the stops for us, just to make us feel special...special nook area, rosè, and even dessert from them. But on top of that the food was nicely portioned (had enough for a second meal later) and the service was impeccable. The staff and even the general manager enhanced our experience and my wife and I are convinced this will be our go to place for future anniversaries to come! We will be going back!
Food was okay, staff and location were better. We had dinner on the roof top which was a nice treat during good weather. The pizza was okay and the chicken parmesan was decent. I would really look at this place as a great location for a drink on the patio.
Great service from server Amber throughout dinner. Host who greeted & seated us at 5 p.m. was polite & friendly too. Food was very tasty & fresh & hot from skillet. Thanks J. Hudson
I absolutely love the atmosphere and the food at Amore every time I go. My favorites have been the amore burger and the gnocchi pistachio. Desserts are also TO DIE FOR. They also handled the massive party I atttended with ease and were courteous to every customer. Highly recommend
Food, atmosphere, patio - outstanding! Drinks were good as well, but pricey for not having the booze I called. This won't deter me from going back though, because everything else was great!
We enjoyed the food here. We got some cocktails, but were somewhat disappointed. Really fun rooftop patio space!
Food was excellent.
The Gorgonzola and pistachio gnocchi is great. Made in house. Along with their pasta (which is a rare find these days)
I will definitely be back when the rooftop is open.
The only negative was the service was on the slow side. (Our waitress disappeared for 20min at a time)
Great food. Place has a really nice ambiance. Service was okay. Would recommend the calamari.
Brunch. Do it on the rooftop. Yum.
Rooftop experience for brunch. Coffee, mimosas, food and service were all very good. Highly recommend the Italian sausage skillet and chilaquiles. Waitress was very sweet and attentive. Highly recommended.
Great place to have delicious Italian food. Friendly staff, plenty of parking in the back of the restaurant. Can easily accommodate large party. In summers it has upstairs open seating. It is a great place if you celebrating birthday or anniversary or a family event.
What an amazing restaurant! I give 5 stars! Staff is amazing food is impeccable! Anyone that hasn't tried it should!! Can't wait to try out the rooftop dining mid April!
Mothers day brunch was fantastic. Service...not so much. Food delicious, took 45 min to make a mimosa that was tasty. Coffee never showed up, nor did the second round of drinks, but they were on the bill
Amore Uptown is one of the greatest Italian places in the Twin Cities. Their food is amazing, and always creative - they don't just have the usual dishes you find at most Italian places. The service is excellent as well.
Daily happy hour is wonderfully priced with great food and wine selections. Try the mushroom passion for a rich pasta dinner. The bread and Parmesan is served warm with oil to start your meal off on a great note. Summer rooftop drinks are great after a walk around Lake Calhoun.
This place is great! I've been here for both dinner and brunch and it was delicious both times. I never would have thought to put marinara with eggs but it totally works for the Italian Eggs. Will definitely be coming here again
Had a fabulous time celebrating my friend's graduation. The burger however was mediocre at best and fries weren't warm but I didn't want to say anything as our server was pretty busy. Next time I'm going to try something Italian, of course!
One of the first restaurants you encounter when walking into Uptown from Lake Calhoun is Amore, a cozy Italian restaurant. This isn't my first time visiting; a visit a year ago left me unimpressed, but recent improvements give this restaurant a much improved feel. The decor is both classical and contemporary, and complements the wide windows that bring in light. The food is fantastic. I ordered the eggs florentine from the brunch menu, which had a delicious lemon flavor to complement the richness of the eggs and the hollandaise. The staff is incredibly friendly, though the restaurant becomes busy, which results in slightly slower service. Overall, my impression from Amore has changed completely, from merely OK to very positive.
I love coming here. They have some very good dairy free options that are richly satisfying. The mood is good and in the summer the roof top is a great place to have dinner. The Casablanca here is quite good--boozy and balanced. Casserole is so good with the sausage and fennel. A very decent carpaccio too. Very very good service! I once left a Dolce & Gabbana purse with my wallet in it behind and my server not only picked it up and kept it safe for me but had it ready for me the next morning. Above and beyond! The best part about this Uptown location is that it's near the lake and near the mid area of activity without feeling like uptown. This is definitely a bar not just for the 20-somethings but rather an elegant place for the over 30 to have a nice evening as well.
We stumbled upon Amore after the art fair and saw that there wasn't that many people on the rooftop, which was a good thing considering most of Uptown can get a little overwhelming on the weekends.
We had some appetizers and drinks, and our server was super friendly. They had great food and a really cool atmosphere on the roof.
I'll be back!
Dined here for Restaurant Week and was very impressed. Everything ordered at the table was delicious and we all raved about our entrees. The server did a great job of explaining the menu and helping to explain the fall specials. My only hope is that they will have these dishes even after restaurant week so I can get another fix of that veal pot roast with pumpkin squash tortellacci...yum! Ambiance is quaint yet with a nice happening, bustling vibe. And the free parking is a huge plus for uptown!
Always great service (lately anyway) and the Happy Hour is excellent!
Just no fuss great French/brunch food
The eggs Benedict were cooked to perfection and the gooey egg was sooo good
We had a grooms dinner this past weekend and it was perfect. Kevin, the event manager was incredible and made the night go so smoothly. The food was also great. I highly suggest the zeppole donuts. Thanks again, Kevin!
The best. 8$ mimosas Sunday awesome! Food is good and reasonably priced (pasta is what I get very yummy and from 10 to 12 dollars ith large portions). Chicken parmesan sandwich is amazing (good chicken, bread, cheese and sauce). Service there is great, fun staff and very attentive. We spend a good amount of time there eating, playing cards, and drinking mimosas and the staff is great about filling drinks and getting whatever we need. In recommend this to any family or friends that come into town.
The food is amazing there and it's fresh
I was never the Italian food person bu we loved Pasta Milan it was soo good we never had so much flavorful.
Other food which we order was also very good!
Have been many times but recently chose Amore to celebrate our 30th wedding Anniversary. Great food and service and an unexpected treat from the manager really made our evening special. Thanks Amore!!
Amore Uptown pistachios gnocchi and Amore Mule are the bests. After a long hard working week, there is no other place where I would like to have a comfy dinner with friends. The service is perfect as well as the food and drinks.
Great ambiance and nice new updates to the interior and also the menu. The new Amore Roll is delicious and the pastas as tasty as always. Excited to try the new selection of burgers and pizzas, and look forward to hanging out on that beautiful rooftop this summer.
Classy little joint with rooftop dining, weather permitting. Great food, service and drink (full bar). Recommended!
My girlfriend and I went out here for a romantic Monday night. It was pricy, but we both thought it was THE MOST tasteful Italian food we'd ever had. We split a salad, had bread, and both got a meal and she left with leftovers. Try the tortellacci alla panna with veal; it's so good. The cocktails are tasty too!
Server was cold and kinda screwed up our tabs, not giving us full happy hour discounts on our drinks. The place was quiet and food was decent although we only ate off the happy hour menu as they have some substantial options on there which is great.
A different "Italian" restaurant. I've only sampled a small portion of the menu, however based on what I've seen I know the food won't disappoint. Cozy main floor with a quiet laid back roof-top bar (possibly one of the better kept secretes in Uptown). Highly recommended.
Usually when I go to new places I look at the menu and have trouble finding something I like. Either I'm not feeling a certain kind of food or the whole menu sticks to a mix of 5 staple ingredients in all of their dishes. Well let me tell you about Amore! I couldn't choose what to get because they all seemed so good! So many different entrees and ingredients! It all seemed so good it was hard to choose!
I would recommend this place, especially if you plan on staying for awhile since telhey have an option for bottwmless mimosas.
5 Stars would go again!
My first visit as an out of towner. Dined outside on the rooftop. Absolutely a nice experience! Thanks.
Stunning food, great flavor, and interesting variety of choices. Lovely upstairs patio for summertime dining. Good and helpful service. Reasonable prices. I will definitely go back!
Lovely sunday mimosas!! Had a wonderful birthday brunch with my cousins. service and food was wonderful! We will definetly be back for more!
Great neighborhood spot with stellar food and service. Lived in this hood for years and still love this place. Seafood antipasto is killer as is the house sausage. Always great, inventive cocktails. Dine on the roof in the summer it's much more chill than the other big patios.
The ravioli with pesto was incredible and very filling. The service was amazing and our waters were always full even though it was rather busy. It was a wonderful start to my prom night.
Service started out slowww and i think we were forgotten... And when our food finally came it was a bit cold. However, the server turned it around and brought the birthday girl a free wine and huge thing of "cake" , deepfried doughnuts with chocolate. It was a nice gesture. The food tastes super fresh and ridiculously tasty 💓 …
Great upscale italian restaurant! Lot of choices in the menu, nice ambience, friendly staff and good service. Would definitely recommend it for celebrating a special occasion.
LOVE Amore. They’re rooftop is great for summertime and they’re food is amazing. I have loved everything I have ever ordered but the bruschetta is my favorite of you’re looking for an great appetizer.
Great rooftop breakfast from Italy. Eggs Benedict with prosciutto/ parmesan baby potatoes with toast =10. Italian sausage skillet comes in a cast iron skillet and was also excellent. I recommend this establishment. Great service.
My sister took me here for my 24th birthday and I had the most pleasant experience. Service was phenomenal not mentioning the food... The food was amazingly delicious. I highly recommend this place. By the way they give you a free dessert on your birthday ...
This place is lovely. My friend used to call it the "cheers" of uptown and that is exactly how you feel once you have been here a few times. Great staff and the food is excellent. I think the best thing on their menu is the Tortellacci all Panna, and of course the awesome fresh bread...it's literally the kind of bread you have dreams about. Their rooftop patio is a force to be reckon with in the summer.
Amore is fun to visit with both family and friends. Their rooftop patio is the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail and appetizers in the summer. They are accommodating of dietary needs and large groups. Make sure you try their zeppole- Italian donuts with caramel and chocolate that are to die for!
I had the Veal Francese and I thought that they had used way too much lemon because that is all I could tast. The service was better then average, no complaints in this department. We ate on top and moved to inside after the meal. I bit noisy inside but what one might expect from a place that is filled up.
I would not turn down going here again but I would like to shop around a bit and see if there is a place I might enjoy more.
The bread is very good, um - excelent.
Delicious food and fast service! Staff was great and super friendly. We sat on their rooftop for brunch and it wasn't busy, but were told that you normally need reservations.
Awesome experience! Staff was nice and quick, food was high quality, and atmosphere was fun and lively. I highly recommend the gnocchi, creamy and delicious! Will definitely be back soon :)
Beautiful outdoor rooftop patio. Food was delicious & service was great!
Food came out hot from the downstairs kitchen.
Will dine here again.
Excellent food. Fair prices. Definitely will go back.
Great food and excellent service. Parking isn't great as the parking lot in the back of the b restaurant is very small. The menu is excellent and so is the cocktails selection. Great place for dinner with friends or out in a date 👍 …
How this rooftop doesn't get more attention, I don't know? It's a great spot. Reasonable prices and good happy hour. Service is generally nice. We've had some excellent and some spotty.
Always excellent and tasty food with personal service. Whether its a warm bowl of Tomato basil soup on a cold winter night or appetizers on the roof deck in the summer, you will love Amore uptown.
Good Brunch! (Hobo skillet, Ricotta pancakes, Chilaquiles) Well attended bottomless mimosas. A bit noisy so not the best place for conversation.
This place has THE BEST FLAVORFUL DISHES in large helpings!! Best meal I’ve had in a loooong time. Highly recommend the Pollo Marsala - delicious!!
Amore Uptown is amazing. Friendly staff, great aesthetics and delicicious food. My wife and I had our first Valentine's at Amore Uptown. Since then, we have been making Amore Uptown a frequent destination with family and friends. Recently, my wife and I got married at Amore Uptown and couldn't have asked for a better location. Our cute and intimate wedding was handled and assisted with care and love from Amore Uptown and it's staff. We are so thankful for thier attention to detail and customer service.
One of my favorite spots in uptown Minneapolis! The chicken parm is a must-have and they make some of the best Moscow Mules in town. The rooftop is absolutely perfect for happy hour/summer evening drinks. Love love love this place!
Thank you so much for making my wedding so special even in the midst of a global pandemic!!! The food was amazing and everyone had such a good time ❤️ Your staff was very attentive to our guests and I could not be a happier bride!
Authentic Italian cuisine, noodles made in house, friendly staff, extremely reasonable prices. When they say bottomless mimosas, they mean it; I've had glasses refilled upward of six times
Best caesar salad I've had in a while! My friends raved about their pasta dishes! Great experience, service and food!
When the moon hits your eye that's amorehhhhh? Overall this Italian joint is ok, the food is serviceable and happy hour is good but for the price point there are notable issues. Bruschetta without balsamic vinaigrette? Entrées served without parmesan or cracked pepper? And calamari with a rubbery consistency all add up to be a slightly disappointing experience. For the price point there are other Italian restraunts in the area, but if you're looking for a good happy hour with servivale food Amore will scratch that itch.
Excellent service, delicious very fresh food! great rooftop dining with lots of heaters. would return or order take out.
Food was wonderful tonight the server, Amber, was friendly and efficient and the drinks were perfect. Will definitely come back. And would definitely love to be waited on by her any time.
Got the amore roll which is an egg roll with pesto and ricotta cheese inside, as well as the tortellacci alla panna. Absolutely delicious if a little rich, we also got the gnocchi pistachio which was pretty good. Will definitely go back to try something with a red sauce.
Loved the atmosphere on the rooftop. Service was fantastic! The chicken marsala was the best I've ever had in my life and I eat out a ton!!!
Hands down the best gnocchi/sauce combo I've had in the United States. The gorgonzola pistachio cream sauce is unreal-do not pass go, do not collect $200-order the sauce with any dish because it is worth it! They also have a great Pinot that was reasonably priced that I would come back for alone.
They had me at the bread. Fresh, warm, house baked...mmmmm. That was two years ago, now I am hooked on that and more. Take my advice and come here for the mussels, Rosa d Pesto, the beet salad, and the Tiramisu. And the rooftop in the summer. It's really nicer and more chill than the other ones around uptown. See you next week Amore!
Great, fresh food and delicious cocktails. The rooftop was cozy with heaters and we pleasantly dined while social distancing.
My pasta milan was delicious, and the dessert was yummy! They did not disappoint anyone in my party of 7. Very friendly and quick service. Nice job!
Amazing atmosphere and food! They have a wonderful drink selection, and I would highly recommend the gnocchi pistachio! Will definitely be back soon!
I always have a blast at Amore Uptown! Love the ravioli, and awesome cocktails as well. Service is always fast and friendly. 10/10 would recommend.
Delectable food. Lovely atmosphere, decor and music. Service was also good.. maybe fix up the tall chairs but great besides that. Would for sure come back.
Food was excellent, their white sauce is amazing, the rooftop patio is wonderful, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. All and all, totally worth it.
We went there for Valentine's Day, and it was amazing. Great ambiance, food, and service. Would highly recommend for a romantic night out or wine and apps with friends.
Wonderful service. The atmosphere was vibrant and wonderful. Different variations of pasta to meet everyone's needs. Well mixed drinks. Lovely ambiance.
Great experience with every visit. Food has always been good whether I'm there with a party or date night. Love the pasta bella, chicken parm, and gnocchi. Get the zeppole for dessert!
Edit: they got rid of the bottomless mimosas... probably won't go back without that option.
Good brunch options. $8 bottoms mimosas and bloodies. Pollo bbq pizza is great!
Sat on the upstairs patio with my wife and dog on a Monday had a good meal for very little money
The food is on the better side of decent, but the service is slow and the prices are much higher than what the food demands. The rooftop is fantastic, so I suppose that's really what you're paying for. Still a fun place to try, but I haven't found myself wanting to return very often.
Amazing dessert :) very fast service and overall quaint atmosphere. If you go definitely try the Disaronno Mule, I'm definitely making that drink for myself from now on
One of the best tiramisu I had so far. Didn't try any drinks or food so can't comment. Will be back so for dinner here n will add my comments on food n drinks. But from look of it it looked traditional.
Service was great upon arrival. The food amazing! One of my favorite uptown restaurants!
We went on a Monday night and they have their date night menu which I totally recommend! They had 1/2 price wine and $10 cod which was great value!
One of my favorite places to go not only for the amazing food and great service but for the atmosphere as well. It is very conveniently located by shops, grocery stores, and the lake for a sit down with friends, business partnerships, or just you yourself.
I've enjoyed many good brunches and dinners there. Food quality is always good, and somewhat reasonably priced. Service is usually quite good. Luv it's rooftop!
Ok food. Even though It's an Italian restaurant, they don't make their own noodles. You would be better off going with an anti pasta. Not impressed for the price.
Great food! Just had their Bruschetta Al Pomodoro last night at the St. Jude Gala, it was mouth watering! I will have to stop in there this weekend to try it again!
The food was edible but lacked the touch of a passionate chef. This was below the quality I expect out of Italian food and there are better choices in uptown for Italian.
Lovely rooftop patio, good drink options, limited menu (to make sure they're making quality dishes). Great after a day at the lake!
They had two servers quit but the food was amazing, didn't take that long & really friendly service. A few hiccups but that's to be expected when your short handed. We will definitely be coming back.
Food was good. The place gave me a headache though, probably because i had to wait 25 mins for a table standing up when they had tons of free tables, they were just dirty.
Excellent food and wine, with a chill atmosphere. This would be a great upscale date night for those who are alright with spending a bit more, but not looking to break the bank.
Best Italian food I’ve had in a long time!!!!! Awesome ambiance and generous portions as well!! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get good Italian food in Minneapolis!!!
Better Italian here than in NYC. Just my humble opinion. Great portion sizes. Great taste. Great cost
Great restaurant! Loved the Lasagna that I ordered, would highly recommend it! Service is excellent as well!! Can’t wait to go back!
Delicious meal and fun night thanks to our server Nicole. She was accommodating, charming, and FUN!!
Nice atmosphere, friendly bartender and good Monday night special. Just give in to it and buy the whole bottle of wine don't buy it by the glass you'll want to drink it all.
Awesome spot for brunch! Spicy Bloody Mary, bottomless mimosas and tasty Italian-infused options. We enjoyed our time here!
Most of the food was good, except for the prosciutto which had an odd floral aroma. Service was ok, but liked the place better under old management.
Excellent food, responsive staff and good atmosphere. If you want Italian, go here for a little trip to the Italian coast. You will not regret it.
Wow! Best Italian food I have ever had! And the service was excellent.
Jose May was super welcoming and friendly.
I will totally will go back.
Love AMORE. The gnocchi gorgonzola with is my favorite dish. Great place for a fun date night or get together.
My friend and i absolutely love amore victoria. we found this place one day wondering around uptown. the food is wonderful, the atmosphere is relaxed and natural which is hard to find in uptown nowadays with all the big chain restraunts.
Pretty good service, easy parking, really tasty brunch. My bill was MUCH higher then expected but its Uptown & during a pandemic.
FAST and friendly staff cannot recommend their brunch enough. When I say fast I mean like Jimmy John's fast.
Love the rooftop seating. Had the Caprese salad, and Gnocchi, ended it with Tiramisu for dessert which was very very good!
Delicious food and wonderful service. Our server was polite and fun! Kinda pricey, but worth it.
This place was great! Excellent food, great service, a bit pricey but you definitely get what you paid for. 10/10 would visit again!
This is our favorite restaurant for dinner. My daughter loves to go there for her birthdays. Cannot wait for rooftop dining.
Pasta Milan is absolutely to die for!!! Everything always tastes amazing. The atmosphere is fun, classy and friendly :) I highly recommend!
Appetizers were great, good happy hour everyday, entrees were slightly overpriced but good! On a hot day, maybe opt for inside too
Went there with a friend for dinner had dinner on the rooftop deck it was awesome and beautiful the drinks were good and the food was great as well will return
Amazing food and staff. The rooftop is so fun and relaxed. Definitely a go to place during the summer months.
Excellent restarurat. Delicious food and fair price!
I loved the atmosphere on the rooftop and the pasta was to die for! I would highly recommend Amore to anyone who’s looking for a fun date night!
I always love amore! Amazing food, fantastic staff, great atmosphere...what more could you ask for?
Ordered the salmon, it was extremely overcooked. The risotto was fabulous and the rooftop was Beautiful to sit and eat dinner.
I have been a few times now and have not been disappointed with the service, food or drinks. Really a very good choice for dinner.
Loved the ambience and roof top seating but the food was subpar and it was hard to get our orders in since our server seem to never be around.
Love the lasagna! Very good and they have a nice Sunday happy hour, wine by the glass for $5.
I love going for brunch here. The food is fantastic. The bottomless mimosas are surprisingly strong for the price.
Cool little hipster place. Be fancy or not is fine too. Perfectly cooked burgers and generous portions on noodles
Great food, great service and excellent safety measures! The rooftop setup is amazing.
My favorite place to go to for brunch.
They have both breakfast and lunch options as well as mimosas and bellinis that are not too expensive.
The tequila sangria sucks, but the food was good and the amore rolls was amazing
This small Italian restaurant is one of the best places to have pasta. I love their shrimp pasta. Inexpensive too.
Delicious food, bottomless mimosas, reasonable prices, friendly service. One of my favorite uptown spots.
Friendly staff. Great happy hour menu and drinks. We dined on rooftop and had fun.
Delicious garlic bread and fried chicken. Great atmosphere and host.
This place merits a higher rating than the one given. Food was good, the waiter was attentive, and overall good experience.
Had a good time with friends for brunch, bottomless mimosas were great and the food was wonderful too!
Great food and service. I had the Bolognese which was excellent. The service was very friendly and helpful. I'd come back again.
Great rooftop patio. Quick and friendly service. Warm restaurant atmosphere. Great first date idea.
Very nice happy hour drink and food specials. The rooftop is especially enjoyable during the summer months.
Good food. Typical prices for in-town nicer eating. I'd go again. Get the parmesian garlic fries.
Lasagna was very good. Happy hour wine special was nice. Would come back.
Mimosas and breakfast ♥️ one of my favorite places to go when in Minnesota. The Alfredo is amazing as well.
This place is phenomenal!! Words can't describe. The food is amazing
Great rooftop dining on a nice summer day. Really good service. Bolognese was pretty good.
Delicious food , I had the four cheese ravioli. Excellent service!!!!! loved the rooftop😀👍 …
We don't eat there, but the own was very nice at let us to use their Wi-Fi, to ask a Uber!
Delicious and fresh food with friendly and warm service. Best dining experience I've had in Minnesota.
Only good brunch spot in Uptown with bottomless mimosas and the dinner menu is also delicious!
Very good food. The pass Milan was excellent. A little noisy but not the excessively.
the service was impeccable and very respectful very warm atmosphere and the meal absolutely delicious will return if you go you must get desert mmmm
Delicious food a great cocktails, wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the options.
Love this place! Delicious food and beautiful rooftop = awesome summer evening!! Will be back for sure!
Great rooftop! Good Service.
Great food and great service! Some of the best brunch i have had.
Nice big summer roof top and food is amazing. Cozy little bar downstairs, good place for a date
This place has speedy service, reasonable prices, and an atmosphere that’s cute af. Can’t beat it. Highly recommend. 👍🏼 …
Beautiful rooftop location overlooking Bde Maka Ska. Wow! Amazing authentic Italian. I love it!
From the entree to the dessert, nothing highlights. Poor food quality. Some of our party even skipped the entree
Food was decent but they would not allow putting tables together for large groups after they said they would!?
The food wasn’t the best for me but it’s not the worst I’ve had. Service was great though, it’s not somewhere where I’d return.
Except for fancy place not that outstanding, so would say above average food and best ever roof fining option
Food was average, service was ok. Patio has a great view of uptown & people watching.
Great atmosphere! Love the roof top, especially when you are enjoying the bottomless mimosas.
It was good! The server was cranky, but I tipped her well anyways;
I hope she passed out from the kindness.
Amazing place worth every cent I spent lamb chops for the win
good food, not too crazy about the outdoor dining set up...dodging bees while dining
Very tasty food with a great rooftop. Great date spot!
I amored it
This is a great place for everything.. We had our company X-mas party here.. Whoa, the Meatballs are amazing!
Great food, awesome rooftop, good drinks, cannot complain.
This restaurant is awesome. Excellent service and great food. 100% recommended.
Great drinks and good gluten free and vegatrian options
Nice location decent food, not the friendliest staff.
Delicious food!!! And excelent service from the mexican waitress! I will definetely go back!
Great atmosphere, amazing food, wonderful service
Great ambiance. Server was outstanding. Food was magnificent! Highly recommend.
Food was decent. Service was slow. I'd try other places before coming back.
Server started out on the wrong foot.. But after I asked him how his day was going it got better..
One of the great places in uptown to grab a late evening cocktail. Wonderful decor, fab drinks, and cool bartenders
I had the pesto and it was so good! Honestly though I'd come just for the tiramisu!
Came here for happy hour. Sat on the rooftop patio. It was really nice.
Fettucini Alfredo was amazing. They sat us in the private alcove pictured here.
Very yummy food, and wonderful atmosphere! Anything with gnocchi on the menu is guaranteed to be a hit!
The Elvis Presley drink was amazing and the wild mushroom pasta was perfection 👌 …
Incredible food with great servings. Very pleasant and helpful staff.
This is the best ice cream I've ever had, and I don't even like ice cream!!😂Great pizza!! Great service!! …
Bar staff is great and the Date Night special on Wednesdays is an insanely good deal.
My favorite restaurant in uptown everything it’s delicious here
Really delicious brunch menu with affordable $10 bottomless mimosas!
The best part of our visit was our server! Eva Christopherson is the best. Thank you again!!!
Great food and staff, a Saturday morning staple if ya ask me!
Cocktail was good, service was good, live Trio was awesome, rooftop great!
Love the patio. Great staff. Fun atmosphere. Well done :)
Cozy and fun. Authentic Italian dishes. Great wait staff!
Great food and service, friendly people, and spectacular rooftop seating!
Great food and great service! I loved it there when I went to minnesota.
Service was just ok, but food was amazing and so was the rooftop patio!
Is wonderful Italian food both vegan and Matt is vegan and not
I liked the chicken parmesan and had a good waiter as well.
Best Italian in uptown, rooftop is amazing during the summer. Perfect date night
Excellent food and excellent service. I would strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone!
Great food, great service! Had a gnocchi, it was delicious
Enjoyed brunch and want to go back for dinner
Is a beautiful place, and the food is amazing delicious and the service is excellent and polite.
Such a great restaurant for all ages and all occasions! Great food and great service!
Great food, and easily the best wait staff I've ever seen...
Excellent food. Drinks were great as well.
The pasta was not fresh, tasted Rubbery and the whole experience was mediocre overall.
