Reviews of Triciclo Peru
Had Pisco for the first time, Pisco punch, smooth drink that was fruity and refreshing. Chicken Empanada, with greens. The Empanada was baked and delicious-the greens had a lemony very light dressing. Very filling, but I didn’t stop there-had to try an entree, ordered from the big plate section, ordered Lomo Saltada. Very filling with Chunks of steak, fresh veggies and fettuccine-succulent and delicious.
The decor of the restaurant was authentic and very creative. I didn’t get the history of the building, but you can tell it was an older restored building. The front appears to be a renovated garage door, the inside has remnants of old pipes throughout the seating area, and the ceiling reminds me of an old ballroom hall ceiling. Of course, Peru colors are tastefully added to the decor.
The service was excellent and the waiter was very helpful with ordering. Will be back-oh, that area of Vliet is being updated-the street is being resurfaced-nice drive to the location.
We visited Peru for the first time this year and wanted to find a local spot to eat Peruvian food. Triciclo did not disappoint! The ambiance was nice with a well decorated space and lively music. We ordered the Leche de Tigre, Savory Wings, Seco & Sausage empanadas, pisco sour and mango drink. Everything was very delicious! You can even buy regular pisco and flavored pisco bottles! 😋
A cozy restaurant packed with atmosphere and flavor. The selection of empanadas is impressive and the sauces complement them exceedingly well. Our server was helpful explaining the different dishes and the multitude of juice based alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The Cusqueña Peruvian Lager was delicious. The highlight was the Leche de Tigre with fried shrimp and calamari and fresh tilapia a wonderful ceviche dish.
Our first experience trying Peruvian food & this place did not disappoint! The Pisco Sours, Yucca fries & empanadas were utter perfection. I can't wait to go back & try the ceviche. 10/10 recommend & will be back!
The taste of Peru. The empanadas are freshly made. Wide variety of cocktails, wines and drinks. Peruvian beer. Excellent service. The only thing I wish they made is the fresh Ceviche. Other than that I find this place perfect with nice ambience. They also have outdoor tables.
Great cute place to hangout with good drinks and empanadas! If you like empanadas, you will like this place. Not many other places like this are around. Came on a Sunday around 7pm but not many other options to choose from on the menu, which was sad because we saw the reviews and pictures on the website and expected more. Maybe it was because it’s a Sunday? Overall, I would highly recommend for empanada lovers!
Everything about this place is so fresh and amazing. You can tell that their food is cooked from scratch and with care. Delicious food and incredible service. I asked about allergens for my take home leftovers (my husband is allergic to bell peppers) and our server/the owner was super confident in his response, you could tell everyone knows exactly what goes in to each dish.
Amazing! If you’re reading this you need to eat at Triciclo Peru. The food was terrific. The interior was nicely decorated. The staff was wonderful.
Don’t sleep on the N/A punches! My
Mind was blown.
Went here recently after having it on my list for a while! The restaurant is very cute. The food was very unique in flavor! We ordered two hot dishes and one cold.
The cold dish was Leche De Tigre (the goblet). This dish was very tasty in the unique sense - it was sour and lemony, something I haven’t had before. The tilapia I was not a fan of. After a couple of bites I could not have anymore since the taste was so unique.
We also has the Brochetas (chicken skewers) and those were AMAZING!! The sauce was fantastic and it was light and healthy.
The last we had was Papas Rellenas (the brown potato balls). These again were SOOO good! Very comforting. I loved the sauce and onion pairing.
Overall fantastic food but would steer away from the Leche De Tigre!
We really liked the empanadas here. They have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. The ambience is great. We liked the decorations and cleanliness of the place. The staff are very friendly. We had a great chat with the owner. They also sell their empanadas frozen, so you can buy it and bake it at home. We will for sure come back here.
DELICIOUS. I am very picky about the food but this one is really worth it. All the foods I ordered were delicious. Unfortunately, I don’t have any pictures because when it comes to our table, we dive into it! It is yummy! I really recommend.
(Edit) I went there again and took some pictures. It is really worth it.
One of my favorite restaurants in Milwaukee! Amazing food and craft cocktails!! The empanadas are huge and amazing!!
Lomo Saltado is to die for!!!
So I enjoyed the flavors of the food. I had to sub out the fettuccine for fries and rice for my loma but okay. From west coast so that’s opposite of what they on the west. I asked for the cilantro sauce and thought I would be getting just dixxy cup size nope they sold me a whole bottle. Still delicious but wasn’t expecting to pay 35
We really enjoyed the empanadas. Definitely coming back for their take and bake. Their cocktails were also super tasty. Service was friendly and quick. Highly recommend.
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! My Aunt had dropped off some frozen empanadas from here when I was on maternity leave and I could not believe how good they were - and so easy to just pop in the oven without having to even de-thaw! THEN my husband and I went here for dinner and literally our jaw was on the floor. Every dish was so delicious we couldn't pick a favorite. On top of that - you gotta just love the adorable bartender/server - the nicest people.
Perfect Sunday 2 pm lunch. Delicious drinks and food, and excellent service. So good we even ordered desert. How often are you satisfied that you want to try even the desert.
Consistently delicious. The yucca fries come with a chimichurri that makes my heart sing. The gluten free cheese and corn empanada is consistently delicious. The gluten ful or normal empanadas always look amazing and my table mates loved the regular corn and cheese and pork with sweet potatoes.
We ate special no 3 arroz con mariscos paella was delicious. The green sauce served with it was spicy and perfect and the pickled onions were the perfect touch.
Every cocktail we had was delicious but the pisco old fashioned was so good we all ordered that drink as our second round.
I have ordered DoorDash from here umpteen times and also visited their location at The Vine at Humboldt Park but never (before today) gone to their home base at 38th and Vliet. Obviously, because of my past repeat business, the food is wonderful. Now I can attest to the charm of the restaurant and their service as well. It was a sleepy afternoon inside this establishment (only one table was occupied and one take-away customer came while I was there). Moisés gave me attentive and friendly service behind the bar. The pisco sour was perfection, although now that we are solidly into fall, I would recommend something less "refrescante." He said go for the Purple Corn Bramble. Maybe I will next time!
Absolutely Delicious! The lomo saltado was perfect. The empanadas were very good, and the pisco punch was quite refreshing. The current crossover promotion with the coffee shop has a coffee called "fire of love" there is this sweetened Chile powder on the top that is amazingly delicious.
The amount of flavor packed into the dishes and sauces is pretty amazing to say the least. Drinks and service were exceptional, great experience all around. The Risotto Norteño is one of the best things I’ve ever tasted, can’t wait to return and try something else. Also my first experience with Pisco I’m definitely a fan.
I found this Peruvian restaurant while visiting Milwaukee from Chicago for the day. One of the best food I’ve had in a while. I had the ceviche leche tres tigres, jalea mixta, empanadas and pisco sour, delish!! Thanks Amie! I enjoyed talking to you 🇵🇪❣️💫 …
First time diner--now lover and supporter. You want an empanada? Hit me up and I'll tag along. I will be back and I will be introducing as many people as possible to this place.
We went for their open on the 4th...we got there a little after 700p and they were packed (they close at 800p). Everyone there was working very hard to make sure that all of their patrons had a great experience. There wasnt any seating when we arrived and then 2 spots at the bar opened up. The atmosphere is inviting, the shelving behind the bar catches your eye as well as the various pops of color on the walls.
Loved hearing from Mario about the Ekeko and other pieces they have on their shelves. Aldo really enjoyed hearing about the history of Triciclo. We had the greatest bartender--I want to say her name was Rachel -- funny and witty, everyone we encountered there was great. There were multiple people checking in with us to make sure we had what we needed throughout the night.
Only sad part. I really wanted to try the lomo saltado... And they were out. (More reason to go back) I had 2 of the Seco -- I thought they were delicious. My boyfriend got the Beef and the soy chorizo and really enjoyed both of them. We also ordered the antichuchos. We were initially told they were out... so we ordered the brochetas instead... happy surprise... they did have some of the antichuchos so we got to try both. 2 empanadas was plenty along with splitting the sides. Fair prices.
Pisco sour was also done very well.
10/10 will return again.
Hands down best Empanadas I've ever had. The crust is soft and flakey. There are classic fillings like chicken and beef or try the unique spin on some of the ingredients with well paired dipping sauces.
As transplants from South Florida that is full of amazing Peruvian food, my partner and I were blown away. The anticuchos, ceviche de pulpo, and empanadas con lomo saltado and the beef were so flavorful and delicious. The limonero dessert was to die for. The pisco drinks blew the roof off the house!
Can’t wait to come back next week!!!!
The empanadas with flavorful dipping sauces are absolutely delicious. The citrus punch with hints of chamomile and ginger was delightful and refreshing. Service was stellar, and the atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. Can't wait to come back for happy hour!
This was beyond spectacular and was our favorite stop in Milwaukee. Our waitress was welcoming and took the time to make sure we understood the menu and offerings. The empanadas were outstanding, we each had two and shared a few bites. Each one was done to perfection, leaving you wanting more with each bite. It was a bit early for us to grab a few cocktails, but we tried the non alcoholic juice drinks and they were perfect. I could not rave enough honestly about everything here.
This stop is a must if you're popping through the area and I highly recommend this location. We will be back anytime we are near.
Amazing food and great atmosphere. Glad to see gluten-free and vegan options. Will definitely be back!
So excited for the owners opening up Triciclo! I recommend ordering an assortment of dishes to sample there tasty menu. I also love the fact you can buy frozen epenadas to take home!! Such a great idea!! Very friendly service, I'll definitely be a regular here 😃 …
Food was good service was horrible. First we ordered drinks and waited about 30 mins to be asked if we were ready to order. We ordered multiple empindas and only had one brought out to each of us, they didn't realize until we said something and looked back and saw we were charged for more than one. Food was great though
Had gone once before, and loved the vegan chorizo empanadas... had to go back for more! The size is great 2 and I'm full, there is many other options available for vegetarian and regular empanadas as well. It's a small place with a couple tables but has a bar and other area with stools for seating as well.
Cozy place with some great food. Highly recommend trying their lunch specials
Update: the empanadas are still absolutely delicious. I can't recommend them enough!!!
Authentic Peruvian food, wonderful owners, we will be back many times to try all the hand made drinks and delicious food. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.
Triciclo is a fun reminder of my trip to Peru and serves dishes you can’t find at a lot of other places in Milwaukee. My favorites are the yucas frites, lomo saltado, and papas a la huancaína. The chicha morada drink is unique and refreshing as well. I’ve stopped in just for a cup to-go on a lunch break!
The tapas were great! They had vegan and vegetarian options which is a plus. The waiter was knowledgeable.
Great Peruvian restaurant, the food was delicious and like always the empanadas are very tasty. They have 2 Peruvian beers Cristal and Cusqueña. The pisco sour is delicious.
Despite the unfavourable location, the interior is very beautiful. The food was wonderful. I wasn't a fan of the Leche de Tigres though.
Simply amazing! The Leche de tigre ceviche is massive and soooo good! The purple corn drinks are sweet and delicious, I like mine with pisco liquor in it. Oh also they are known for their tasty empanadas, so grab some of those too to try. The owners are sweet and one is from Peru so you know this is authentic peruvian food. One of my favorite restaurants! 🙌
Great spot. Empanadas were very tasty. Hope you’re distributing soon!
Wonderful experience. Enjoyed the drinks (with and without alcohol) and the empinadas were like nothing I've had before. Looking forward to coming back sometime for dinner. Owner was really genuine and brings a special quality to the restaurant.. beyond the character of the building. Really nice to see a place like this so close in the neighborhood.
Empanadas tasted frozen and not tasty, they prob make them fresh but freeze them. The main entree was ok and the service was great. Nice venue though!
By far one of the best Latin based resurants I have ever been to the flavors are bold yet not overpowering you can taste the freshness of everything, the chicharron (pork belly) sandwich is definitely one of the best I have ever had paired amazingly with the sweet potatoes
One of the best Empanadas in the city. I also love the beef heart skewers.. I think I'll try everything on the menu.
Everything we ate and drank here was out of this world. The Yucas Fritas put all other fries to shame. The Pan con Chicarron was perfection on crispy-chewy ciabatta. And the Jalea Mixta is a giant portion of perfectly fried and seasoned seafood. All the dipping sauces were unique and intensely flavorful. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. This place shot to the top of our list of favorite restaurants in Milwaukee.
This was our first time here, but we will be back. The empanadas were all delicious, however the vegetarian options were above and beyond. Each of the sauces were great, however the cilantro based one was the best of the bunch. Thank you for a great dinner!
Fantastic, fantastic empanadas! Super-helpful waitstaff and cool drinks. One of my favorite restaurants in the Milwaukee area!
Great drinks and food. Yes, we will return. We tried the fried yuca w/ chimichuri sauce. Was excellent. We also tried the sweet potato empanada- which was good. The empanada quantity was much less than we expected. Small bites serving sizes here.
I have been here three times in the last four months and hands down they're the best empanadas in the city. They have been consistent with their quality of ingredients and flavor. In terms of being authentic empanadas I can confirm for you hipsters that they're legit. I was shocked to see that they don't have a full five stars. My guess is that the ones who didn't give it a full five stars must be the owners of La Masa which is a great place is you want empanadas made and seasoned by wipipo. Plus do you really wanna deal with parking on Brady Street? Triciclo has a ton of parking and I had no trouble finding a spot. Plus their pisco bar is amazing too you better call an Uber after your second or third drink. I will definitely be back!
Authentic. Staff is great, food is excellent. Vegetarian options! & sometimes vegan options! Drinks are tasty. Prioritizes local food and partnerships which is also great . Soy chorizo empanadas are my favorite.
The food here was masterfully crafted. Truly a gem among Milwaukee's thriving food scene. 11/10 recommend
Drinks were fantastic, food was simply to die for, and ambiance was superb.
Nice change of pace. It seems to be authentic Peruvian food and drinks. It's a nice establishment what are you doing
The food here is a revelation by every measure. Those unfamiliar with Peruvian cuisine will become fans, and those initiated will have a new favorite restaurant. This is certainly one of my favorites.
The vibe is very casual, being a small space with limited seating. A bar is available for those looking to unwind.
A (hopefully) temporary downside is the extremely limited menu post-covid. It has essentially been reduced to empanadas, although an option or two remains. The empanadas are fine, of course, but the main delight in coming here was the astoundingly good main dishes. The full menu here was truly something special and I hope they can reintegrate the majority of the menu soon.
The food was very good. We'd definitely order again. Only one teeny issue... We ordered Door Dash to eat at a bar and it showed up without silverware. It's hard to eat delicious risotto without silverware. But 5-star food, absolutely.
Parents on a much needed date night out. This place comes highly rated and deservedly so. We did the min flight of empanadas to get a good feel and the food was amazing. Don't even get me started on how good the sauces are. Highly recommend any of the cocktails but especially the pisco sour. Will definitely be buying frozen empanadas and sauce for our friend on maternity leave. Love love love
After reading so many positive reviews we decided to try this restaurant for take out. Just wow. We have been missing out! I have no previous experience with Peruvian cuisine but being something of a scientist myself, I am well-versed in flavor. Everything I tried was phenomenal, from the steak sandwich, to the wings, and (my favorite) the Risotto Norteno. Our order was ready on time and curbside pickup was a breeze. I will definitely return to this little neighborhood gem.
Please visit here! It is very unassuming but delicious!!! Very authentic. The purple corn drink was DELICIOUS
Solid street food and drink selection! Great atmosphere for casual eating
So yummy! Packed full of flavor and very filling. Called ahead to ensure a spot!
Our waiter was great! The food was excellent
So far we've only had the frozen empanadas that we ate at home but they were fantastic and we can't wait to try more on the menu! To quote my husband, "I dream about the olive sauce!" Takeaway ordering is very easy.
My husband and i stopped by this place on our way back home. We are from out of state and unfamiliar with the area. The neighborhood seems sketchy but the place was great. We had the ceviche and chicken with risotto. Food was absolutely delicious. We also had some cocktails which seem small but still very good. I would totally give this a 5 if it weren't for the hostess which made us feel a bit unwelcomed ....and appeared she judge every customer coming in.we came in at 6:05 ....and were told it was the only hable available and we had only till 7 to eat and clear table. We took it since we were hungry and were just eating passing by anyway. There was 1 other table open and bar had space. 2 other parties came in without reservations and gave them a 7pm availability and the other 630. I was confused. between the time i came on 2 other tables empty and no other parties showed between that time. I felt rush and unwelcomed. If she is owner well hope she knows soon she can get backlash and if employee i hope owner has a talk with her.
Top notch service to go with one of the best if not the best meal I’ve had. Just the right amount of amazing flavors. Small plates and entrees looked like pieces of art. Drinks were exceptional. We will be back soon.
The empanadas here are amazing amazing also the chimichurro sauce is the best that I have had
FANTASTIC FOOD AND SERVICE! My wife and I came her for Valentines dinner - wife is from Arequipa. Peru. Very authentic and delicious food. For a small place, this restaurant has the menu and quality for huge success. Beautiful ambiance and sophistication. We had Tallarin Verde con Pollo (riquisimo!), chicken empanadas and two desserts: arroz con leche and picarones. The picarones were not soft and crunchy as my wife remembers them, but everything else was superb. Staff was so attentive and kind. We will be back many times. We cannot wait to try other dishes on the menu.
Delicious food, friendly staff, great atmosphere.
The website doesn't have a link for reservations but I would strongly recommend that you make them.
My only negative is that I tried calling 5 times around 7:30 PM and was unable to get through. And mailbox was full.
Best empanada I've ever had by far, and honestly one of the tastiest meals I've had since I've been in the Milwaukee area. I got the fried pork with sweet potato and the yellow pepper sauce, and believe it or not it was the frozen takeout empanadas and they were THAT good. Can't imagine how great they are fresh at the restaurant, I'll definitely be there once the city opens back up. Thanks guys.
This is an amazing place. Been there twice. Once with spouse. Once with whole family. Combo platter is best dish I have ever ordered maybe. Drinks are great. A gem for the city.
Very small place, super cute. The waitress (maybe owner?) Was very nice and knowledgeable about all the dishes. The food was amazing and I loved the pisco collins. I can't wait to go back and try more food and cocktails.
Tasted their empanadas at a Historic Concordia Neighborhood Association quarterly meeting and WOW they are good! So happy they are finally open with a storefront! Was able to order some for a take-out lunch and my coworkers were equally impressed. Good variety for all tastes. Will definitely go back for a more leisurely sit-down lunch.
These empanadas are so good - they're addictive. I have tried many of the flavors and liked them all! Be sure to grab some alfajores to go. These little cookies are amazing!
Nice place and people. Food was ok at best and the pasta was over cooked to a mush.
You might recognize these empanadas from the Humboldt Beer Garden. But you'd be wrong.
This is the restaurant that supplies them, but they are immensely better here in their own location. The bread is flakier, the insides aren't dried out, the sauces taste fresher. Everything about them is so much better here.
Pro tip: get the take home three pack so you can have a quick meal on a different day too!
YOU MUST TRY THESE EMPANADAS. So delicious. Lomo saltado (steak and potatoes), Aji Gallina (shredded chicken) and Chicharon (pork cracklings) are my favorite. Also you gotta try their Chilcanos (similar to typical Pisco Sours but different ingredients). My new favorite drink
Great place. We had a steak empanada (the "Lima") and a chicken empanada (the "Cajamarca"), and both were wonderful--the crust was buttery and flaky, and the fillings were flavorful. The octopus ceviche was delicious--not too vinegary, not too sweet, not too spicy, but well balanced. We ordered the yuca fries, but they accidentally brought out papas rellenas instead.... and then brought out the yuca fries. It wasn't necessary for them to do that, but it was appreciated. The papas rellenas were beautifully done, and the yuca fries were just the way we like them--crisp on the outside, creamy on the inside. There were lots of dipping sauces to go around, including an eggy yellow sauce and a light purple sauce that had a fruit note to it. Our dining companions enjoyed their empanadas and their ají de gallina, a rich and comforting creamed chicken dish with egg. Our server was very kind and gracious, and we didn't wait too long for the food to come out of the kitchen. The restaurant is rather small, so we waited a little bit for a table, but it didn't take too long. It's rather noisy, and the place doesn't take cash at all, so go prepared. All in all, a great addition to the Milwaukee food scene, and we look forward to returning.
My boyfriend and I were visiting Milwaukee from Nashville. We were tired of eating bar food and wanted something different. I was a bit apprehensive at first because I never had Peruvian food before but I was pleasantly surprised and blown away! I can't remember the name of the dishes we had but one was a beef and alfredo dish and the other was a chicken with rice dish and it was delicious! This place does a great job taking a modern approach to authentic Peruvian dishes. The staff was very friendly and the prices equaled the quality of the food.
Great atmosphere. Authentic flavors. Amazing food. The chicharron sandwich was even better than Peru. Pork was perfectly seasoned and melt-in-your-mouth tender with super crispy pork rind. Generous portion. Split the sandwich and a few empanadas to try a bit of everything. Highly recommend this spot!
Wow!! Amazing food, so much more on the menu we have plans to try. Grateful the owners brought this to Milwaukee.
Wow, where to start? Their mocktails are incredibly good, light and refreshing - and if you like pisco they've got a ton of cocktail options with a huge variety.
We started with the salchipapas and the leche de tigre ceviche as appetizers and both were huge! The fries were light and crispy and came with four incredibly good and unique dipping sauces. The ceviche was so addictive, tilapia, shrimp, and octopus served in a massive dish with crispy plantains and Peruvian corn. Then, we went a little overboard and ordered five of their empanada options and I can't say it loudly enough - AMAZING, and again served with their special sauces. I would seriously recommend this place to anyone. Whether you know and love Peruvian food, or like me, want to branch out a little but not be completely lost when looking at a menu, Triciclo Peru is a 'must try'.
Amazing eats. Everything was so do good. From the empanadas, the chicken skewers, to the roasted chicken and risotto. Try the pisco sours as well!. So smooth, so tasty. Plus they invested into a truly beautiful neighbor right next door to Pete's Pops. Eat local, support local.
I have always loved Triciclo because of their authentic Peruvian cuisine. I the creativity of their drinks and menu items. But today I had for the first time the "Fettuccini a la huancaína con lomo saltado" and I had to write the review because this dish is out of this world. Great food, great service, and a great place to go with friends!
Some of the best and unique dining in Milwaukee. Winner on every level: aesthetically pleasing dining room, fascinating craft and Peruvian cocktails and beverages, divine desserts, impeccable service, mind blowing flavors and textures (lots of ooohing and aaaaahhing, and quality ingredients.
Amy manages all the functions of the restaurant effortlessly, guiding decisions and inspiring menu choices. She’s kind and caring toward everyone. Any business would be blessed to have the caliber of character she brings to work.
Give this restaurant your business so it stays in business ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 5 heart rating!
What an awesome find of a restaurant in milwaukee. The Peruvian food served at this establishment is amazing! The flavors, the spices and the smell of the food is exceptional. This place offers a wonderful take out service with a friendly staff. Try the yucas fritas as an appetizer and any of the entrees. Portions are large and sharable for two. Support this local restaurant, keep it going until full scale dining can return.
Great food and ambiance, in a hopefully gentrifying neighborhood.
Stopped in on a whim and WOW, are we glad we did! Our favorites are the traditional chicken and the sweet potatoe with cheese. Super cocktails too!
Amazing food & friendly atmosphere. I am so happy this is in my neighborhood! The empanadas and pisco sours are my favorite. Best of all, the unique flavors take me back to the time I spent in Peru.
Amazing food, atmosphere, and staff! It was my first time visiting tonight and I couldn’t have asked for a better meal and environment. Highly recommend, especially the empanadas and ceviche!
We just baked 4 of Pachamama’s frozen take and bake empanadas... SO good!! We miss the dine-in atmosphere of Triciclo, but we LOVE having their empanadas in our freezer!! And having the sauces in the fridge adds to our at-home experience!!
This place was a surprise for me as I had no idea it was in the area.
I found out it had delicious food, great service, and a nice atmosphere.
To drink, I had ordered an Inca Cola. This was an interesting drink that smelled like bubblegum, but tasted like a dull fruit flavor with sweetness, but ended with a bubblegum after taste. It was weird, but I still enjoyed it.
I also tried the famous Chicha Morada which is made from various fruits and peruvian purple corn. It tasted like a tropical christmas. I definitely recommend trying it.
For starters, my group ordered some tequeños which were basically cheese sticks in a crispy egg roll-like wrapping. We also ordered a basket of yucas fritas. Both were delicious.
I had ordered the Brochetas. They were basically chicken skewers with peppers and pineapple on top of a light dressing salad. On the side I ordered a cajamarca empanada which consisted of shredded chicken, yellow pepper sauce, garlic, onion and parmesan. It tasted like a pot pie. It was the best empanada I've had so far. And it came with a delicious spicy mayonnaise dip.
In the end, we all had an alfajor. It's basically a sugar cookie sandwich with dulce de leche in the middle. Absolutely delicious.
The food was all delicious, affordable, and interesting. The server was great and very attentive as well.
Great atmosphere! Great tasting food and efficient service. Attention to detail is obvious. I witnessed everyone that entered the restaurant was greeted immediately.
The seafood was extremely overcooked, almost inedible.
Excellent empanadas, hot for take out, or frozen to heat at home.
Does not skimp on the meat, so tender falls apart in your mouth. Tastes fresh and delicious. Worth every dime for some tasteful soul food
Love these empanadas!! They are a great price for thw size. I've brought many friends/family here for lunch/dinner on multiple occassions. All of the empanadas are good so you cant go wrong no matter which one(s) you pick.
The food was good but the old menu offered more meal options at reasonable cost and the new menu basically has little to no meal options at higher price
Cool space, great empanadas (sweat potato and yellow chicken were favorites) and snacks. Service has some kinks to work out but shouldn't stop you from going. Chica morada is a great na drink to try as well!
Food and the service were amazing! We tried all of the mini empanadas and the risotto which were so delicious and filling. Highly recommend anyone try this unique spot!
Service, drinks, and food where fantastic. We will be back!
So tasty, ordered online. They brought it out to the car. Got the corn and cheese, ali de gallina and chicharron. All delicious. Yuca fries also very yummy.
Tried Triciclo Peru for the first time - loved it. We went with the bake-at-home option and tried 5 different varieties (2-3 empandas per person). Good flavors; easy to bake-at-home. We'll be back. Oh, and their take-out during the C-pandemic worked really smoothly.
I am peruvian, and this is to be honest one of the best place, if not the best, that I've tried. If you go with a group of 3 people I recommend you the piqueo power and then order more stuff. Everything is great in here. The only thing I would recommend the restaurant is too cutt the tuna.a little thinner cause the thickness of the tuna tiradito was about 1.5 cm. But everything was great.
Empanadas are great! A bit on the pricey side compared to other empanada shops in Milwaukee. The pisco bar is ok would be a great place to chill with friends post COVID
Love all the unique flavors that Triciclo brings to the neighborhood! Their To-Go frozen empanada packs are so convenient too!! I couldn't resist stocking up on a couple for this upcoming week.
Ceviche, stuffed avocado, empanadas - what an adventurous way to brighten up a cold March day - beautiful building, great service , and exciting fresh and delicious food, upbeat Peruvian music - thank you for being open for indoor seating too!!
Fantastic empanadas. Great owners. We ordered them during Safer at Home legislation and baked them in our oven. They've made our social distancing far better.
Now it’s my favorite restaurant in Mke. Very clean, food is amazing. Best empanadas.
And the peruvian drinks are also.
This was a hidden gem that you really need to find. A trendy Peruvian restaurant. We had empanadas and a fried seafood assortment. Well definitely be back soon.
Great service, great drinks, amazing service and cute location
We tried Triciclo Peru for the first time last weekend and we will definitely be back! All of the food was delicious and we especially loved the empanadas and the sauces that accompanied them. We also really enjoyed the chicken skewers, yucas fritas and tuna tiradito. We are hoping to stock up on some take and bake empanadas so that we can continue enjoying Triciclo Peru from home!
Food super good, great staff, have no words to describe the food how good it is. Definitely coming back, highly recommend to everyone!!!
A hidden gem! This place has incredible food, amazing drinks, and the kind of friendly staff that makes it all perfect. Get here as soon as you can, and come back often!!

The food was delicious even though I received some one else's meal. The space was packed and very loud.

So so good. The pineapple pisco drink was amazing and the sweet potato empanada was amazing. The spicy cheese sauce it came with was also 👍🏼! …
Interesting menu. Excellent cocktails. Good friendly service.
This place is absolutely worth going out of your way to find. There are not many (certainly not enough) South American restaurants in the city, so I was thrilled to stumble on it while coming down Vliet.
Amazing!! A cozy spot for a quick bite to eat. Service is great, food is freshly made. Empanadas are great, I recommend the #4
I can't get enough of their ceviche or chicharron con pan! Professional....great food, great precautions for customer safety during Covid. Clean and consistently wonderful!
Came in with friends for a drink and an empanada. Both were delightful! Glad to have you in the neighborhood!
These empanadas are so good! Every single thing I tried on the menu was excellent.
Cute comfortable spot and friendly staff.
Super nice people, and excellent empanadas/wings/pisco sours/probably everything else too, that's just all that I had :)
Good food, love the punch and the warm salad. A little slow on pick-ups. May be due to the baking of the empanadas.
Incredible. Food and service were impeccable. You must try it.
Great place for drinks and food. Get one of each and split them first visit. You'll be back.

Great owners serving excellent empanadas and piscos. Check them out, nice spot!
Delicious, I just wish the menu were larger and the portions bigger.
Empanadas are great, can't wait to try again!
What an amazing new place! I’m gluten and dairy free and they had an amazing chicken gluten free empanada. The skewer appetizer was seasoned so well and the chicken was so plump! Also had a alcohol free punch drink that was amazing. I’m butchering the names of the dishes/drinks, but hopefully you get the idea. Only recommendation would be to lower the lighting in the space at night to create more of an atmosphere. Otherwise, highly recommend and can’t wait to come back again soon!
Went to their food truck at Zocalo. Highly recommend the yuca frita the sauces are incredible
