Reviews of Thai-namite at Milwaukee Public Market
The drunken noodle, red curry, and green curry are all amazing. I will definitely be working my way through this whole menu.
The staff is very nice and the service is timely.
(Green curry with pork spice level 3 pictured)
Awesome sushi place inside the public market. The sushi and fried rice tasted fresh and were served hot. Though it was crowded the staff processed orders in a reasonable time.
Got there at 7:55 pm the other day (they close at 8) and didn't get served :( Besides that, the spring rolls I had the week before were super good! More noodles than I'm used to in a spring roll and I wish it had more vegetables, but the sauce is what did it for me. Sweet and savory, the perfect pairing for the roll.
I only had the fresh salmon and tuna sashimi but WOW was that excellent fish. Texture, flavour and freshness were all top notch. Service was friendly and quick. I wish I had tried more!
Good selection of thai and sushi choices . Reasonable on price!
Ordered the drunken noodles and some crab rangoons and I enjoyed everything! workers were very nice and helpful. Would come again (:
I was looking for a yummy quick bite to eat at the market and found it here! I asked if they recommended the pad Thai or the fried rice before ordering and I’m so happy I got the fried rice with pork. For $13 I had the perfect proportion of pork to fried rice and it was as fresh as fresh could be. I was told a 15 minute wait and it really only took 5 minutes. I ate at 3pm on a Friday and wouldn’t hesitate to return.
Ordered the rainbow maki and my friend ordered the spicy salmon and both rolls were amazing. The salmon tasted so fresh and the sauce was also great!
Decent for a quick bite, but unless you are getting the lunch special very over priced. The specialty sushi rolls are disappointing and expensive, but the red curry lunch special is delicious and affordable. If you are looking for a sushi spot this is not it, but the entree plates are solid.
The sauce of drunken noodle was a bit sweet and not my favorite. Also wished it had come with more veggies. The spice level 3 is so hot that it will make your eyes water! They do have great service though and seemed to be very popular - think I waited almost half an hour for my food.
They sell fried rice and Japanese food too so you can get a taste of a lot of things there.
delicious pad see iew and fresh rolls. reasonable prices and quick service too.
I had a pleasant experience ordering take-out from Thainamite in the Public Market for lunch. I’ve eaten there in person, but this time I used the Ritual app. It was handy to order, but a little awkward on the pick-up. We had to stand in front of the touch screen for a few minutes before we were acknowledged, although that is what you are supposed to do. Anyways, it was lunch time so obviously busy, but it would have been nice if someone had said hello or something, as we didn’t know if we were picking up our orders the way we should.
Anyways, on to the food. I selected the Chicken Satay appetizer and the Fresh Rolls. The Chicken Satay was tasty – the chicken was nice and tender, and the sauce was pleasant. The little shot of cucumbers in vinegar that came alongside was oddly welcome, but I do like vinegar. The Fresh Rolls were like a spring roll but with less vegetables and fried egg inside along with tofu, rice noodles, cucumber, and lettuce. On their own, they were somewhat bland, but with the sauce it was delicious; the peanut sauce is excellent.
Aside from the awkward pick-up, Thainamite is a good lunch option downtown, and is a nice choice to have when eating in the Public Market.
Watched my order sit and get cold while employee avoided eye contact. They put big thin salad carrots in my curry. Overall it tasted good but I like more stuff in my curry.
Took a few bites of my meal (pork pad thai) and it's amazing! They have a 3 scale for spice, which when I was ordering, was joking that I could do a 4 or 5. They said they could do it, so I requested a 5. Love it! Thank you for working with me on the spice level, it's hard to find truly spicy food here.
We loved our dishes and taste was exceptional. It is small but cozy place. Quality of food was overwhelmingly good. If you are up for Asian cuisine this is the place. Fresh ingredients and friendly service. Highly recommend for lunch.
They have such amazing gyoza and are an easy and quick lunch option for on the go. The curry lunch special is great, and changes daily so you don’t get bored. The staff is very friendly and the prices are reasonable.
The fresh rolls are so good! I highly recommend!
Taste of the pad Thai was on point. The noodles need to be thicker and didn’t come with a lime which comes with pad Thai traditionally.
Awesome lunch special spot for the weekdays when I want to walk to the glorious public market for a break. I recommend getting the volcano chicken (it’s not spicy at all) with the fresh roll.
Good food. Good price.
Love the food here.
Unexpectedly good thai food
