Stacy AumanStop here on a recommendation from a friend who grew up In Milwaukee and it didn’t disappoint. A quaint little counter service diner. I had the Solly and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. But how can you beat the combo of a butter burger with cheese and bacon. The side of cheese curds we also top notch.

Dining Detective Southeast SideAll your expectations of an original butter burger will be fulfilled at Solly's Grille; the softest onions and copious amounts of butter makes this one of the best burgers I've had in a while. The meat Pattys are a little small but that's why I saw all the regulars order two burgers at a time. Thicker patties are available but I suggest you go with the original first to get the full experience. Excellent malts are also recommended. Can be crowded but I went about 2pm and had no wait.

The server falanda was very knowledgeable and friendly good server.
The restaurant was clean in the atmosphere was old fashion.

We went there as coworkers and we had a ton of fun, the vibe is excellent , diverse and very very inviting.
Darcy was our server and she really took care of us we had there butter hamburger that you have to try :-)

Julia JanochaClassic diner with friendly staff and quick service. Came here on a Friday with a group. The Fish Fry was decent; good fish, breading was crunchy but didn't have much flavor. Grilled cheese tasted very fresh and had plenty of cheese but it lacked a strong flavor. Fries are great, not salty. Butterburgers come with a generous amount of butter on top.
Devi RThis is a local must visit restaurant when you're at Milwaukee. Historical for the pioneer of butter Burger. The price is amazing for the quality and taste of the food. Love the idea sitting around the counter while the waitress serve you. No waiting list when we visited them but it was steady flow of customer.
