Service was very good as they seated us at a table. We were asked what drinks we wanted and soon got our drinks and out in our orders. I got a Cobb salad and my wife got a chicken quesadilla. Both were very good and of course took some of both home with us. We didn't have room for desert but there is a lot of choices for that too. Yum

Great Greek restaurant with plenty of food options and some good food, nice sit down atmosphere as well with some fish tanks in back. Definitely worth a stop if you're thinking about getting some good sit down food, they also offer some alcohol if you're looking to have a drink with your meal

The waitress seated us our group of seven. She took our drink order and when that came back we were ready for our orders. Our food was delicious! I had a cop salad with some grilled chicken on top it was very delicious and my wife had a chicken quesadilla. Plenty to take home. We didn't have room for desert.

We love this place and have been patronizing it for at least 15 years. It's a good bang for your buck. Big portions and always tasty hot food. The staff has been around forever and they have a great bunch. Always prompt friendly service. This restaurant is always clean, and management is always super friendly.

Our Chattanooga friend came back to WI to visit and had been looking forward to a great breakfast. The Pegasus experience was exactly what she had been craving for so many years. Our waitress, Holly was very busy, yet attentive to our needs. The food arrived quickly; was hot; tasted great; and was plentiful. Coffee was regularly topped off and cream supply was replenished. Chicken Fried Steak was delicious and the Kielbasa is a "must have". Hash browns were prepared exactly as we order. I'm sure our friend will want to eat at Pegasus again on the next WI trip. Thank you.

We've been coming here since we moved to West Allis 8 years ago. We often get Doordash from here too. Food is always great and huge portions. The staff is all very friendly and the food comes out fast. The fish fry was AWESOME - super hot and fresh and great beer batter. The kids meals come with a ton of food and are right around $6-$8.

There was no wait for brunch on a Sunday morning. The food is always delicous and not crazy prices. I recommend the meat lovers skillet. It comes loaded with meats. In addition, great and quick service. My coffee cup was never empty. I highly recommend it in West Allis!

We have been here many times and decided to do the Friday fish. The fried cod was delicious and comes with 4 pieces. My wife's baked cod was overdone and dry and her vegetables had no taste. Her fries were the best anywhere but my potato pancakes were a dissapointment - could buy them in the freezer at walmart. Crispy hash brown would have been better. Likewise the clam chowder was poor quality institutional food. They served a "lemon butter sauce" with the baked cod that was just bitter and ugly. Melted butter would have been welcome. The best things about this place are the prices and portions and cheery atmosphere. The food is typical cafeteria, but they don't claim to be more than that and folks on a budget flock here. Beer and cocktails are available and reasonable, and they give dessert with most specials. There are many more postives than negatives. I still like this place a lot, but it will be hard to get the wife to agree to come back except for breakfast.

Clam chowder incredible! Tilapia w Shrimp and Jambalaya excellent. Fish fry great as usual. Annie the waitress was wonderful! Very courteous and great at her job! Trying to do a 2nd review!!! We came back again tonight for dinner! Only change was one had clam chowder and the other corned beef and cabbage soup! Both incredible Fish fry and Tilapia were spot on again Annie the waitress rocked it again!!! Great energy, great with the customers! What a pleasure Kitchen staff worked their butts off!

I enjoyed my breakfast here, had the sirloin steak and eggs and was pleasantly surprised by the cut of meat for a breakfast steak. About an inch thick and done perfectly. You can also take a step up to a NY Strip for a couple bucks more. Restaurant was clean, service was friendly and plenty of room to social distance. I will go back.

We had reservations on Christmas Eve. As a vegan they had many options for me and my service dog. The server(ella) had told us that she was there for over 12 hours which was concerning as we are Catholics, however, not our issue. We were there to relax before midnight mass with the honor of our priest. Things were continual to be forgotten and my mother paid the bill and tipped 30 dollars on a 79 dollar bill and never said thank you to her which was sad to me being a server for many years. She was nice, but it could've been better. We will be back. The veggies as a vegan were super fresh and delicious. You get a ton of food for the money.

Good food, excellent staff, friendly and comfortable environment. With the closing of Johnny Vs classic cafe, Pegasus moves up to number 1 in West Allis for the family restaurant experience in the city. Every option available from breakfast to dinner. Some products are the typical food service quality foods, good, not great, but the kitchen staff knows their stuff and hasn't disappointed yet. What I enjoy most is the attention and care I feel from the staff. My girlfriend and I frequent here now and this is one of the few places I like to dine alone when my better half isn't with me. Very affordable and not overpriced in the least. Always there when hunger strikes. If it's just waking up at the break of dawn, or finally ready for bed, at the crack of dawn. Lol

Very good food here, prices are reasonable considering everything has gone up in price. Restaurants have no choice but to charge accordingly. I just don't like Restaurants that charge crazy prices for food. This diner DOES NOT do that. You want good food, with reasonable prices...you can't go wrong here!!!

The experience was at best avenge. The service was good, the food was good accept the mash potatoes. I think they were home made or a take on home made. Anyway the potatoes were cold when they arrived and dried out. I could live with the lumpiness of them since they were home made or their take on home made but cold and dry... that's a no no.

Everything was very delicious but my children with rice was creamy vs both like 1st cup was very cold 2nd cup was hot .there was post to be a basket of bread severed to us And this lady who waited on our table didn't even offer any thing in place of bread like cracker? My friend thought she was very helpful but I thought she was kinda on the rude side. The bus guys were more friendly then she was. This lady was kina heavy set and dress all in black and she had blood hair kinda short but still able to put some of it in a ponytail and leave some down on her neck.

Service a little slow, waited over 5 minutes for anyone to actually acknowledge us. But once hostess/waitress saw us, directed us to a table then quckly brought menus and coffee. The pumpkin pacakes were HUGE and deliciius.

The food was delicious, I had the Reuben with fries and the potato soup. The bread basket to start had delicious fresh bread and butter. The service was even better, our server was sweet and attentive and the man that filled our waters was very friendly and quick as well. Highly recommend for family dining

We had a group of 12 and had a wonderful experience. The gentleman who greeted and seated us was very quick and accommodating. Our waitress, May, was very attentive and kept the food coming and our drinks full. Very kind and thoughtful. The food was good portions and most of our food came with salad or soup, and a potato choice.There was a nice variety of options for adults and kids alike. The steaks, shrimp fajitas, and gyros were all very good. Our dinners also included desert which we took to go. I definately recommend this establishment and will return again when in the area.

Awesome family owned & operated business! Value for the $ is crazy!!! The older woman that was our server was phenomenal. She cared and was very hardworking. Reminded me of my Greek grandmother. The food was huge portions and included a soup or salad and desert. We enjoyed it so much that we ate here both nights that we were in town. Everything we got was good. Ribs, pasta, waffles, soups, etc. All good. Chicken parmesan was my favorite. Only thing I'd like to see is the place modernized/decor changed up, but that costs money and I understand that could cause price increases! Just be ready to be taken back to the 1990's! Haha I will certainly be back.

But every time we go to Pegasus everything comes out perfect, as ordered, quickly, hot. My spouse and I love and rely on the wonderful people there. Great food. Big portions. Excellent fish fry. Took half home. It looked like it was a little difficult for our server to be on her feet. I felt so bad for her. Maybe it was the end of shift but that's a physically tough job for anyone being on your feet the entire time. Someone covered the bill for our table. I hope she was tipped generously! This is a great place to eat! Very good variety of food on the menu and it came out pretty quickly and was delicious. My 4 year old liked his kids meal too which is great. The staff were friendly and attentive. My drink was never dry as she was diligent to have refills. The price was very reasonable. Seats were comfy, we had a booth and it was nice and not too hard or ripped or anything like that.

WTH is going on here! Been several times but now they changed the senior menu. The waitress didn't say it didn't come with desert anymore, AND I told her I wanted both soup and salad with my entree, yes I know I pay for the one alacart. When she wrote the bill ...she charged me the higher(salad) .THE OLD MAN who's been there forever refused to charge me for the soup instead With IS a lower price JS the waitress didn't get a tip. .

Moved from Milwaukee to DePere a year ago & missed this restaurant & the people. We have a new fave up here, but visiting my grandson today & the only place we all wanted to go was Pegasus. With the first bite of food, I smiled & said mmmmmmmmmm! Food so good & the really nice thing was they remembered all of us even though it was over a year since we'd been there!! Big place, but always so homey & had attentive staff even tho they were busy. Will always be our go to when we're in Milwaukee!!

We tried your restaurant for the first time about 4 months ago. Took our family there over the holidays. . Great food, cocktails and excellent service. The first time we ate here we were seated by a not so friendly hostess (Emma) so we were apprehensive. However things quickly changed once our very cheery and personalble server (Cita) approached the table. She has the biggest smile, very warm and kind. Genuinely wanted to serve us. She is very knowledgeable of the menu. We asked her opinion of items and what she would recommend. Cita suggested a dish for each of us and she did not disappoint. The food was cooked to perfection. We have recommended Pegasus to a few friends and told them to ask for Cita. She was very busy, however you would not know as she was very attentive to every table. Highly recommend Pegasus! Good job to all!

My 4 year old loves this restaurant. She is beyond happy when we get to sit by the fish tanks and she gets to turn her Mickey Mouse pancake into Minnie Mouse with the orange slices. The best part is we can have breakfast for dinner anytime. My BBQ Chicken Sandwich was amazing too.

I’m going to be honest, I like high quality food, and this place has some gems on the menu. It’s obviously a diner so not everything is going to be the highest quality since these types of restaurants have a smorgasbord of a menu, but don’t let it hold you back! They’ve got the BEST Greek salad dressing, their chicken dumpling, and corned beef and cabbage soups are my favorites, and they’ve got some tasty breakfast items. It’s one of those places that, if you’re in a pinch and can’t decide on a place (or it’s late at night when they’re 24/7) it’s a decent spot. The service isn’t always the best as I’ve noticed a high turnover, but if you get one of the longer-term waitresses you’re bound to have a pretty good experience.

Gone here twice now I ordered the country biscuit platter and it was really really good the hash browns were well cooked the gravy was great the biscuits were great the sausage was great. my friend had a hamburger and it was amazing and that fries were also amazing. Dimitri said his favorite was the Hangover Burger and I can see why. It's already a bacon cheeseburger toped with all my preferred toppings, but then they throw in an egg cooked to order? Yes please. It came with crispy fries and tasty chicken dumping soup on a chilly Wisconsin fall day. I was in and out without delay between 11:30 and 12 on a Saturday. My first meal there, and certainly not my last.

Always love to stop here when passing through Milwaukee. Good food and friendly staff. My favorite place when attending Trainfest. Try the greek salad and pork chops. Good breakfasts. Friendly staff, lots of locals eating there. P Places much larger than it looks from the outside. We really enjoyed our food. My hubby loved his seafood omelet. Commented several times how good it was. Everything tasted homemade. The only problem was we waited a long time for our food. Three other tables got their food before us. Whatever the glitch I'm sure it's not their normal routine.

Had the Philly cheesesteak. Pretty good. Nothing special but not bad. Service was pretty prompt place was clean. They kept spacious seating between patrons due to covid. All workers wearing face mask. But still being personable. Saw them carrying on conversations with customers and being very friendly. Good spot if you're in the mood for breakfast after bar close. They're french toast and crepe are surprisingly good. I have stopped in for dinner and meals come with soup or salad. You may substitute sides with your meal. Serving size is large. Overall they're food is average. Not a lot flavors. Best time to go is breakfast. Staff is friendly. If they're busy be prepared to wait a bit.

Fun family restaurant. They have a pretty good meal spread for lots of options. I didn't really look at how much they had in the way of Greek cuisine. They have great daily specials for dinner or lunch. A number of them include dessert. Who doesn't like free cake or pie?! Their beer battered fish was very good, easily in my top 5 battered fish eaten. They also receive 1st place in onion rings, and I'm very picky. The onion was enough to detect in the ring, not excessively thick and woody or flimsy hard string; they also have a good layer of batter, not super thin, not insanely thick, and a delicious crispy golden brown. I highly recommend. Only downside was that the pie I got (banana cream) was gross, it was mostly thick pudding on a thick pie crust-- though I won't hold that against Pegasus because they purchase their desserts from Sweet Chicago Bakery.

My daughter lives in West Allis and I in Milw. Pegasus has become one of our go to places. Up until yesterday, 3/01/20, we have had great experiences. Not so on Sunday. My husband, daughter and I met for dinner. It was a little after 4:00... not overly busy. We waited a good 8 minutes before my daughter flagged down the hostess and asked if we could get a waitress. For me it was downhill from there. I like meatloaf but will never order again. It was awful. Maybe more like a flavorless Salisbury steak but not meatloaf. Did not eat but a few bites with some of the mashed potatoes. I did mention it to the waitress but she nodded and cleared the plate. I wanted tapioca pudding to go with only cinnamon on top. It came with whipped cream and no cinnamon. When I paid the bill the hostess asked if everything was alright—I told her I had had better...end of conversation. She did not want to know. Very disappointing dinner and visit.

Well, stop by and ask for one the two great ladies that helped me and my wife enjoy several great meals there. what a life changing experience i had hear. Form the moment I wocked in the dore i knew I would not wock out the same person I was before I wocked in the door. I was greeted by Pegasi with a smile and a neigh. They led me graycfully to my tabel where I sat down, also graycfully. The Pegasus is a neighborhood restaurant just up the street from the Wisconsin State Fair Grounds. Their extensive menu features foods of many kinds -- Greek, Italian, Mexican, and good old American. The food is good and very well prepared, the service is fast and pleasant, the prices are reasonable. Desserts are yummy. You don't see pie everywhere, but they had six or seven kinds! Highly recommended.

Food is consistently good. I had my usual senior liver & onions dinner with grilled veggies (which because I'm on Keto diet, opt for instead of potatoes) and upgrade to the small Greek salad. IMHO, they have the best Greek salad around! Service was quick and attentive. Son had the meatloaf dinner, which is one of his favorites. Came with the creamy chicken& rice souo, which was very thick and creamy. Both dinners came with dessert choices of pies, puddings. He chose the blueberry pie & I gave my cherry pie to him (Keto). They sometimes have a sugar-free chocolate cream pie which is so-so to my taste. Before COVID, they used to have a great carrot cake which was worth splurging on carbs for - but they no longer have it. Oh well, no more diet temptations! I wish more restaurants had more keto-friendly options without charging extra, even for substitutions.

Nice restaurant! Went with mother, grandmother, and 11yo son for his bday\graduation day lunch. He had clam chower and a gyro and loved both. I tried his soup too and it was delicious! I'm on a low carb diet and order a mush & Swiss on a bed of lettuce. It was also very yummy. Our waitress was very helpful, not pushy, and pleasant. They have pretty fish tanks set up in the restaurant. Everything was clean. Nice place!

I have been going here for approx. 5 years every Fri. morning for the french toast and sausage, which is very good. With coffee the price is moderately priced at $7. The waitresses know me and will just ask if I want the same thing. Today was like every other day, I was asked if I wanted the french toast and sausage, which I did. When the bill came the price had gone up almost 50%!!! When I asked about this the cashier said they have gone to a ala carte model. I don't have a problem with a business raising its prices, but then the waitress should have mentioned the change, so I could change accordingly. I won't go back go back when they treat their loyal customers like this.

They are open 24 hours. Located across from WI state fair park. 1 end block from the New hotel. Our waitress this time was Edna. She got our order perfect. Even waiting to put our steak order in when we were ready. Wish I took a picture of the beautiful salad she created. The owner, pictures shown, was kind enough to bring out our selections of the two 16 ounce NY strips for our approval. What service! We felt as though we were eating at a $100.00 a plate steak house. Instead our steaks were $18.95 you have your choice of soup or salad. Soups change daily. Always 2 different ones offered. Friday's they have clam chowder. The best. I forget the day they have chicken tortilla soup. Wow is that good! Definitely something you need to try. We also got a bread basket, comes with all dinners and suppers. The bread is sliced fresh by your waitress, just for you. Our beautiful tasty steaks came with sautéed mushing, grilled tomatoes (my fav), grilled mini yellow and green zucchini with a light tasty seasoning. You also get the choice of a free glass of wine or beer, or one of their beautiful desserts. Whether you're a local or a traveler this is an excellent place for a great meal. They also have an amazing lunch (dinner) special. Your choice of 5 different sandwiches (half), the French dip is awesome! Plus a house side salad (quite large and with all the yummies ) plus a cup of soup. For only $5.95 very filling and satisfying. It's a bargain you won't see elsewhere. We have been dining here since 2001. Steady customers. Stop on in, get a great meal. Sit by one of the 3 large fish tanks, or find a little book for privacy, or there are lots of window seats to see the goings on at state fair.

I always order the Greek skillet, it's great. They have fast food service, even with using a delivery business like doordash. The creamy chicken and rice soup is to die for, I dont care where it comes from, that ish is delish. The fish has great portions as well, if you're looking for dinner ideas. The waitress spilled water all over my friend but she was a great sport and let us harass her for the next two days. A++
