Yes. I’m so into Gyros, outside of an Italian hot dog or Italian Hamburger, it’s my favorite take out. The Gyro comes with fries and the price is good aaaand there’s ample parking. For a Friday evening, that’s pretty good. Good service. Excellent food. Plus closer to my house.

Stopped by for a late Friday lunch and had a really good experience. Crowd was thin, service was very friendly and food hit the spot. It is likely not the first item anyone looks for at a Greek place but it has been many months since I was this pleasantly surprised with a burger! Highly recommend and the Gyro was also solid.

Ouzo Cafe is a pleasant place to enjoy lunch downtown. We found parking a half a block away. The chicken and pesto panini was delicious. Outdoor seating is available.

I didn't eat here, but my friend and I sat down for a break after a long and unexpected walk. One of the waitresses were so nice and handed us each a glass of water while asking if we were okay. I will definitely come here to eat and enjoy the place sometime! Wonderful service!

Very good authentic greek food choices even for vegetarians. Small space but you do not feel crowded. Waiter Neil was friendly and prompt. Service was fast. Not much parking as it is downtown. However there is a parking structure directly across the street, $6 for 4hrs at dinner time(6pm and after). Drinks are the usual. I didnt try the authentic greek liquor, ran out of time. Overall great atmosphere and walking distance to Third Ward.

Amazing place!!! Very good quality food, wide variety to chose from. Atmosphere is relaxing and the place is clean. Staff is very attentive and caring. I had the best taziki sauce in my life here. I complimented the sheff and they gave me the whole jar of it to go. The waitress was very pleasant and sweet. The overall experience was great.

Walked by and was hit with the delicious smell from the outdoor spit. Ordered a double meat gyro and a saganaki. The tzatziki sauce, meat and cheese were delicious. I am a huge Greek food fan and was not disappointed.

Food was delicious, nice little restaurant. It could use some comfortable seating. The chairs are old and small. Waitstaff seemed like they were new and we had to wait some time for anything we wanted. Drinks were good.

My husband and I stopped in for just a drink and ended up staying for several. Desiree mixes a fantastic cocktail and we had a lot of fun chatting with her & throwing around ideas for the perfect Old Fashioned. She's a terrific bartender and adds to the experience at Ouzo. We were in between meals and had reservations somewhere else for dinner but the food did smell delicious.

A great place for gyros that is upscale with a nice bar and great upscale atmosphere. Besides a gyro they have great hamburgers and other Greek dishes that are fantastic. This is all real cooking no heated up gyro meat. They cut it from the spit throw it on the grill for a bit to crisp up some edges, oh it is so good. A nice place for lunch, dinner or a late night bite on the weekends. With the great atmosphere and decor you aren't slumming it in a dive for some of the best Greek food in town.

May 2022: Brought our entire family from out of town to Ouzo for a celebration dinner post graduation. No better value, climate, quality around. Service, as usual, impeccable. This is a family owned restaurant where above and beyond is all that is done. Food is always, served fresh, hot and delicious. Can't say enough about Frank and the entire team. Treat yourself to Ouzo Cafe! Best Greek food in the state! My son introduced me to Ouzo Cafe after enjoying a 5 star dinner. He and I visited for lunch and ordered a variety of menu items including appetizer, sandwich and sides. Each and every item was served promptly, hot and delicious. The server was absolutely top notch. Owner, Frank, went above and beyond every call to ensure a perfect experience. Environment was clean and welcoming with more than adequate room for social distancing. Everybody at the Cafe was on their game. The food is far above the caliber one would expect from a small storefront restaurant. You won't be disappointed! Try it and bring a friend. We'll be back.

We visited Ouzo Cafe on a weeknight and were very happy with the service and food. One person was handling hostess and server duties, but she was very friendly and offered great service. I loved my gyro platter. The lamb was delicious and tender. And my wife was very complimentary of the tender and tasty chicken in her Greek Salad.

Overpriced. $7 PBRs, I mean...really. Been here two Saturday evenings and the place was empty. Bartender a 21yo fool who purports to own 3 houses, 2 of which are overseas...yet serving PBRs. He's high.

I really enjoyed our food tonight. My kids and I are all so picky so I was nervous about taking them, but we all enjoyed everything we ordered. The chicken wasn’t dry, the salad even had a good flavor, etc. The price was good too. Would recommend.

Uneven may be the best word to describe our experience at Ouzo Cafe. Service was somewhat slow, despite no one else in the restaurant. Our server was courteous, though. The food was good, for the most part. Anyone with a gyro or gyro meat had huge portions. I had the Zeus, and it was the small one...the description said pork, lamb, and beef, but I think it was just some grilled beef strips. We all thought the food was pretty good otherwise. I think I'll need to try another time, just to be fair.

Loved the food! We got the flaming cheese (don’t know what it’s really called) and it was so yummy! Both of our entrees tasted delicious! Tonight was my first time here and I am so excited to go back! The atmosphere was great and staff was super friendly! Great place for some homemade Greek food!

The food and ambiance was delightful. However, their service was not. We were rushed into ordering our food when the restaurant wasn't close to being full. My party and I constantly had to remind the staff to refill our water, and I feel like that's something that they should do on their own. I really don't like to give negative reviews and try to support small business as much as I can, but Ouzo needs to step it up. Had the staff been more attentive and hospitable, I would be more certain about returning here, and I would certainly have enjoyed my meal a little more. With this sort of service, I would have been better off dining at a gyro joint.

I have a handful of allergies and going out to eat is always a challenge. Ouzo Cafe made it easy to accommodate to my needs based on the sole fact that every dish is made to order. Beside the wide variety of options and the addition of great staff, I will continue to come here time and time again.

I have been here a few times, and I enjoyed it each time. Last night, I went for my birthday and ordered saganaki and the cafe platter. The platter had more food than what was on the menu, and it was all very delicious. I especially loved the spanakopita! I will definitely go back for more!

After walking all over downtown last night playing the new Pokémon Go app, me and my boyfriend found this wonderful restaurant!!! We came in at approximately 10:30pm and checked out the menu. Ordered 2 gyro combos (came with olives, sour cream, a block of feta cheese, and the seasoned lamb on top of pita bread). Boyfriend had gyro with roasted potatoes and those potatoes were soooooooooo delicious!! For my side I got a salad which was really good as well. Let me tell you!!! First time eating lamb and it was so delicious. What I like about the food is the quality and quantity, A+ for the price. The staff is friendly and very nice people. PLUS they open till 3:30 am (I'm not 100% sure if that applies to everyday) and if I bar crawl, I can depend on coming here for some bomb food. Thank you for the yummy food and wonderful service, you bet you'll be seeing us coming back!

The tuna souvlaki was really good. Like stunningly good. I have been thinking about it since, but maybe next time I'll get the shrimp instead. And maybe baklava. For a first trip there (for lunch), the food was great and not expensive.

Best Greek food in Milwaukee with several unusual dishes such as Garlic Ouzo Shrimp. Order it spicy for an extra kick. Gyro is the best in town with much higher quality ingredients than places that only serve the drunk crowd like Oakland Gyros. Garlic fries are wonderful.

One of the better Greek restaurants to get a variety of traditional and nontraditional plates from. Very friendly and welcoming staff and every meal I've had has been excellent. Try the octopus or the grilled chicken greek salad with a side of Greek fries.

Frequently order take out from Ouzo for lunch. The food is always great. I normally get a greek salad or a gyro. Friendly people and quick. The generational history is nice to support. I think there is one guy there who is not detail oriented what-so-ever and frequently forgets to add things - he seems to be just an extra in the kitchen, not one of the main people...so I'm not sure if that is just do to overall lack of organization or that one guy specifically. Either way, I have just made it a point to make sure that my order is complete while I am there and I have had no problems.

I often come to Milwaukee to visit relatives. I never miss eating at Ouzo Cafe when I'm in town. The Greek food is authentic and absolutely delicious. They served a traditional fish meal at a family get together and it was superb. You can't miss at this restaurant. Drink your ouzo cold,Yamas!

Ouzo is more than just a gyro place, it's a Greek experience with a full menu of Greek items, from the Zeus, my favorite, to the mousakka (which I can never spell) or any of the other great Greek items on the diverse menu. Greek beer, Greek wine complement the menu. We always go there for special occasions or just to get great Greek food with great atmosphere.

Saturday night the whole place to oirselves. Complementary tzatziki was excellent. We had lamb chops- tender tasty meat - this was by far the best of 3. Side salad was fresh, very lemony dressing on the side. Lamb shank, smothered in tomato sauce, not bad, but kinda watery. beef shishkebob - very nice, tender in spite of being well done (exactly what I asked for). Everything came with VERY lemony baked? Boiled? Potatoes and rice with grated feta. Side veggies were very good too. Plenty tomatoes included. What would I change? Make everythig less 'zesty', lose the tomatoes, give the shank a crust and serve the sauce on the side or reduce it, it's way too watery and tomatoey. That is, easy on the lemon and tomatoes. Mediterranean food in my experience is sweeter. Portions were more than satisfying but taste was less than perfect for my buds. This is why I took off one star. Their website lists cheaper prices by quite a few $ and needs updated. In all, a positive experience.

The menu, atmosphere, food, & friendly staff... if not for the flat screen 🙄, (which was easily ignored!), every time I'm there, it's like a step back in time...when 'time' has no meaning, romance is in the air, and the evening lingers on, seemingly forever...💕

Ouzo Cafe provides a lovely ambiance which is a nod to the deeply-held values of the Greek family. The food is fresh and flavorful. I would call La Fogata a gourmet Mexican fusion place. The cuisine is definitely Mexican, but there's a gourmet flair to the dishes that make the food different than what you would expect from... say a street vendor on Olvera Street in Los Angeles or a taco truck on a job site.
