Had a really solid meal. Met up with some friends. I got a Paloma and it fell flat. Honestly I think the waiter somehow gave me and my friends all the same drink. It was weird and it wasn’t very good but the food was great. I got the pork ribs which were very tender they do need a touch of sweetness though. Maybe a drizzle of honey would’ve set it off OR candy the crushed peanuts! I also got the garlic bread, also very tasty. I wish they had more vegan options for my friends but it was a solid meal

Really nice place. Love the atmosphere and food. The service was above and beyond. Mandy was our server and she was spectacular. Breakfast brunch for 8 and we were able to reserve and walk in shortly after. Very fun.

When you go to a company holiday party in downtown Milwaukee and have a great time with all your co-workers for hours, do you just go home afterwards? No! You and a coworker, who parked their car in the same block you did, walk together to the cars, but then you espy the Hotel Metro and detour into Oggie's for another hour or two, of course! You will find excellent drinks, a gorgeous hotel lobby and bar, fine service, and fun listening to the insights of a coworker who's passionate about many things, to put it mildly. It's an adventure when you ask the bartender to make you a drink that's her specialty, and she is surprised by the question and doesn't know what her specialty is. But she eventually suggests something that turns out to be really tasty and has an odd name having nothing to do with the drink, I can't remember what it was, but it tasted ginger-y. The name was something like Redoubtable. I had a coconut porter that was the best I've ever, ever had--and I've had a lot of them! I hope we have our holiday party at Oggie's next year. (I looked it up, the drink was called Up Rooted. That's not Redoubtable at all.)

Batman Fitness and Strength

Had a good experience at Oggie's! I has their chicken dish so I can only attest to that dish. Price wise: seemed a little expensive for the quality of food, but still reasonable. Taste: fries were good, coleslaw was decent, and chicken was seasoned well but slightly rubbery. Service: really great! Maddie was my server and was excellent. Atmosphere: also super great. Some dope songs were playing the whole time. Furniture is modern and sleek. Overall: would recommend trying out Oggie's!

Went here for a New Year's brunch and they had plenty of space. The restaurant is spacious and was great for conversation. I had the breakfast sandwich and it was solid. There was a little bit of maple syrup on the sandwich that gave it some sweetness that wasn't my preference, but it wasn't too distracting.

This is the bar inside of the Hotel Metro. It has wonderful decor, and the bottles of wine are nicely priced. They serve food as well, but we’d just come from dinner so we weren’t hungry. I think next time I’ll have to try the oysters on a half shell with my wine. There are some pretty cool sofas and chairs to sit at, and the bartenders were nice and professional.

Get the garlic bread!!! The short rib has been aged to perfection and is insanely good. The schnitzel is also so thin and crispy! Also reasonably priced for the size portions. Go at happy hour and get a glass of crisp rose for $6. Everything was delightful. Run don’t walk here

The atmosphere was incredible and the food was even better! I would highly recommend this dining experience to anyone. The fried "chicken" was one of a kind and something everyone should try. I am vegan and my fiancé eats everything and we each had a wide selection to choose from. The service was also very professional, courses were well-timed and our glasses were always full; a very well-trained and organized staff indeed! We each started with cocktails and had wine with dinner, both of which were amazing! I am definately looking forward to returning.

Memorable, delicious, high quality food! Dani greeted us cheerfully and makes a fabulous martini. Our server, Haley, is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Loved the Bavette Steak and potatoes! Our tasty food was served quickly. Very well-priced for such a great dining experience.

Enjoyed a great dinner at Oggies. It’s right in the heart of downtown Milwaukee and a great location for dinner or drinks before a show or sporting event. The food was really good with lots of flavor and great presentation. The restaurant has a bar serving great cocktails with unique spins on some Wisconsin classics. Staff was very attentive and they took care of us very well. Would definitely return for dinner and drinks.

Small menu but something for every taste is represented. Good value, clean, comfortable, and very well presented. Food is great quality and well executed and brings you home with a family feel. Not a lot of room in the dining space but that means more attention. Call ahead and make the reservation if possible and thank yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Oggies is a great bar/restaurant in downtown Milwaukee located on the ground floor of Hotel Metro. The food is spectacular, cocktails are magnificent and atmosphere is vibrant. I suggest trying the ribs off the menu. They are truly one of the best I ever had. Crispy and flavorful on the outside and falling off the bone tenderness on the inside. Will come back for more of those ribs. OUTSTANDING!!

Great atmosphere, lovely decor, and really friendly staff! I really enjoyed the metro old fashioned and the hoisin pork ribs but my chicken dish was not great. The chicken didn't taste seasoned and was too greasy, which is something I'd never expect to stay about chicken. My husband enjoyed his main but I was quite disappointed with mine.

Best burger I've ever had in Milwaukee, and quite possibly the best I've had anywhere. Went on Tuesday night for "Burgers & Bubbles" - $20 for a burger and a few glasses of champagne was a great deal considering how great the food was. Fries were also excellent - perfect portion sizes too. Atmosphere and ambiance were on point, and the space itself is somehow elegant and casual at the same time. 10/10, will be back ASAP!

Breakfast on Saturdays & Sundays from 7 to 1PM. Opens again at 4PM for dinner. Good food, good service, reasonable prices at breakfast. Haven't done dinner there yet but plan to.

Oggie’s is AMAZING!!! The chefs attention to detail is exquisite! I had some of the most delicious and flavorful food ever! Milwaukee is very lucky to have a chef of this caliber. The bartenders, especially Francie, and waitstaff are also delightful. I can’t wait to go back!

Enjoyable time in a beautiful space. Stopped in for a bite and a drink after a Bucks game. Bartender was friendly and sfficient. Chef Aaron stopped out to chat with us after the food was served. Very nice to connect with him. We had fun.
