The ambiance and staff is intimate & friendly. I wish I could say I loved the food but it was mediocre at best. Do like the selection of wine that they offer but did not seem like the servers knew pairings and what's good with red meat, seafood, etc. The French onion soup had great flavor but the Lobster bisque has a funky after taste, like that of old seafood. Truffle mash potatoes were the star unfortunately. Smooth & silky with just enough truffle. The steak filet had no flavor, was overcooked as well as the scallops. Brought my mother whom has knee issues and the place is not elderly friendly as they gave us a seat up stairs no lift. Had been many years ago and it was impeccable but it seems the quality has declined since then drastically.

The wait staff is very kind! We went all out for a reunion dinner and the food was good, besides my steak being a little bit underdone. I asked for it medium rare, but it is clearly rare. The Brussels sprouts are NOT good, but the Pepper Jack Mac is incredible! They also gave us a free desert which was super awesome of them!!! Would definitely go back again if I was looking to ball out on a nice dinner!

Mo's is our favorite Milwaukee restaurant. We were first seated in the dining room, but it was so loud we couldn't hear each other speak. We requested and were moved to the bar for dinner which was much more intimate. The bartenders, Ben and Nathan were fantastic hosts. They totally accommodated us and helped make the evening special. These guys pour the perfect martini. The calamari was out of this world. Steak and lobster followed and was prepared perfectly. We can't wait to return.

Very pricey but you get what you pay for! Excellent food that is way beyond an average restaurant. They even had a special birthday menu for me! Definitely will be coming here again. It is now my favorite place for steaks. I'm getting hungry just thinking about the food we had there!

I sat down with friends and had a nice dinner at Mo's. What had normally been an annual tradition of bringing friends and spouses together for a nice meal will now be remembered as the night that our little group of 7... became 8. Mo's is a great place with great food. 10/10 and two thumps up. I will be back with family, and family's family to ensure that they get to experience everything that Mo's has to offer.

Mo’s did not disappoint! Great service, drinks and food. Steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Sides here are a la carte and served family style, so we shared the lobster mac, roasted asparagus and sautéed mushrooms. Meals came with salad and bread. Salad was pretty weak, but everything else we had was excellent! I’d recommend checking out Mo’s if you’re looking for a great steak! 🥩

The atmosphere of this restaurant is very upscale and high class. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and make you feel very important.The micro craft beer selection had an array of quality beers. The "Starburst" martini was freshly shaken tableside and was the right amount of sweetness and liquor flavor. The food was prepared fresh and tasted amazing. The house made bread and butters were delicious. The 8 oz. wagyu beef filet almost melts in your mouth and is the best steak I've ever had in my life. The chef prepared the beef in such a manner to allow the exceptional taste to reach it's full potential. The Dainty Daisy with 4 oz filet and two bacon wrapped scallops was succulent. The caprese salad was so light and refreshing. The French onion soup was the best tasting we've ever had. The mashed potatoes with white cheddar cheese and the brown sugar and bacon prepared brussel sprouts were perfect compliments to our entrees. The cookie pie was the icing on the cake. Our servers Mo and Alyiah were incredible and made this night unforgettable. I sincerely appreciate the young gentleman who tirelessly kept our water glasses full. We will definitely be back the next time we visit Milwaukee.

My friends and I had dinner on the evening of the Super Bowl at Mo's after a long weekend of vending at a nearby convention. The waitstaff was excellent and attentive! The menu was of a small selection - and therefore a breeze to choose from. A smaller menu, in my opinion, is a good thing as it tells me that the chef is skilled and their food superb. My expectations were especially met. I would go again without hesitation! I chose the shepherd's pie, and it was possibly one of the best iterations I've ever had! The mashed potatoes were creamy and seasoned to perfection. The rich, velvety stew that lied underneath was melt-in-your-mouth delicious; the morsels of beef were juicy and with the barest need to chew! Thanks, Mo!

One of the best steak places in Milwaukee. Nice friendly staff with a beautiful ambiance. I’ve visited multiple times and never had any issues with the service or food. Martinis are so strong you only need one. The starburst was my favorite. One of the best crab cakes I’ve ever had. I will always visit when I want a nice home cooked meal and don’t want to cook myself.

We dined at Mo’s for a private small company dinner. A few of us split the porterhouse, which was decadent, and they cut it up for us so we could share easily. Luke & Max were our waiters and they were fantastic. Highly recommend!

Went here for the first time for my wife’s birthday dinner and let’s just say we were utterly amazed and will come back again and again. Chase and Noah were amazing, best 1-2 punch of servers we have ever experienced!!! The filet mignon was amazing, pesto crusted salmon was incredible, drinks were spot on, and the on the house birthday cookie with ice cream was gluttonous but delightful. Great job to everyone at Mo’s, you just earned another regular customer!!!

Drinks are very very strong. But delicious but be very careful! Corn was amazing & brussel sprouts. Salad was okay. Mashed potatoes great! I ordered my steak medium- it was very rare. It was great until I got home. I spent the entire night puking, severe stomach cramps and more. It’s been almost 24 hours and I am still puking and in so much pain. I guess I was not built for rare (I understand it’s a steakhouse but I definitely thought it wouldn’t be entirely pink when ordered medium). Everyone else loved their meals- I was the only one who got sick. I’m just going to assume my body was not a fan of the medium (rare) steak.

Awesome time at Mo's. My mom and Pop retirement celebration. Every take here is fantastic. I indulged in the pan salmon cooked perfectly. The cheese mash potatoes, broccoli and Brussel sprouts and the cranberry nit bread was outstanding.. The strawberry cheese cake so good. We were seated immediately. The valet parking was very convenient. Will return for sure.

I was looking for a nice place to celebrate my anniversary with my wife. I received many recommendations to MO's and after reading many reviews we decided to go. From the time we walked in the staff was amazing and made you feel comfortable. We started off with some martini's and a seafood appetizer. The martinis were deliciously strong! The calamari and shrimp were lightly battered and cooked with veggies and a citrus sauce that was so good. But the reason i was there was for the steak. I got a beautifully marbled 20 oz bone in ribeye that was cooked to perfection and i finished. Even the staff was impressed and we had a laugh about it. My wife's Chilean sea bass was buttery and so clean tasting. Pair that with truffle fries, garlic mash, and some amazing wine. Such a great evening!

My partner, Todd, took me here for my birthday!!! They're all very kind and nice, this place is high class but doesn't ask anything of those attending, except for of course, expect to shell out 50 and up for your delicious, delicious steakhouse meal. We dressed like, wedding party nice. Two couples behind us were in graphic tees and cargo shorts. It's all good and hits both tones just fine. I have an eating disorder and kind of eat like a child, so fancy can be scary for me, but they're super accommodating, sauses on the side, whatever you need. And so classy and kind. They're considerate and stewardly but not stuffy. Very reassuring. We had the calamari and shrimp appetizer at our servers suggestion, which was great. My partner had the blacked salmon, no side. Said it was exceptional. He is a hobbiest chef and these sort of reviews said simply are a high praise. I had a new york strip loin steak, which is a go to for me, and it was absolutely great! They are very careful to get explicits from you as far as your choice of cooking on your steak. They will as your definition of medium rare. It's a good thing. I also got some broccolinis. They were great! We were so full and ready to go, and then they brought my surprise ice cream cookie for my birthday!!! Hehehe, it was a beautiful treat. we couldn't eat it all, but it was magical anyway. We had coffees with it too, also delicious. and unlike other places, there really isn't any secret charges adding up, it's exceptionally easy to budget out, for those nice, premium downtown price eats. I need to get a window seat next time :) Really, it's hard to adiquately praise somewhere that just does what it does good, no frills. Always the way I like it. :)

This restaurant was right across (we walked) from the loft we stayed at while visiting from Michigan for our An anniversary. The menus were personalized with Happy Anniversary 😊 We were left sitting for about 15 minutes but the waiter apologized. Our drinks and desserts were on the house! Everything was delicious the service was great and atmosphere was cozy. Their Chocolate butter for the dinner bread was unique and tasty. Their Cheesecake was outstanding.

Always amazing food, service, drinks, and atmosphere here! Some of the best steaks around. Drinks are strong. 🍸😋Have been coming at least once to twice a year for special occasions, and they never disappoint! Have even had the same server multiple times over the last couple years and she is always amazing! Dessert on the house for birthdays is always appreciated and delicious. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants and steak places in the entire SE WI. Upstairs is quieter than the lower area or the bar. Well worth asking for.

I feel bad for waiting so long to write this review after such a great experience. I went here for my birthday dinner and they treated me so well and offered me a free dessert! The courtesy alone will make me come back again, and the food was perfect! I was happy to see the sides are a shareable portion, so don't be surprised by the cost and bring a few friends, I promise you'll have a great time! The waygu filet melts in your mouth and is so juicy and tender. We tried 4 different appetizers which all of them were fantastic and I'd say the mashed potatoes were my favorite.

Extremely friendly, attentive servers!! My friend had the best fillet he's ever had in his life here. The dainty lady is a nice choice if you are not particularly hungry. The night we went they had live piano performance, which was definitely a bonus. Everything is great. Except that the food is indeed pricey. Go for a special occasion and treat your loved one, is my suggestion.

I chose Mo's because of the excellent reviews and we weren't disappointed. My wife and I were going to Milwaukee for a birthday and anniversary trip. We had 5:30 reservations and were seated right away. When we left around 7, the place was filled. Our server was Kate and she was the best. We completely left the food and drink choices up to her. A great bottle of wine was chosen to start. We had the calamari appetizer, sides, and shared a waygu steak. Everything was delicious. The service was top notch. Kate and her assistant provided such a high level of service that we really felt like we were being taken care of and that this was an experience. We left everything up to them and they exceeded expectations. Shout out to The Pfister where we stayed the night. At check in, the hotel manager and if we had plans for the night, and when we said we had reservations at Mo's, he called the restaurant and arranged for a glass of champagne to dessert to be sent to our table. This was a first class experience. I think next year we'll do the same trip as this year.

The atmosphere was very nice! We loved our waiter, Chase. She talked to us about the different types of steaks and even showed us a visual! The food tasted great! We had the Wagyu steak and it was amazing! I would definitely go again, especially for special occasions. Be prepared because it can be costly, especially since sides are a la carte.

Had a lovely experience here while visiting for my birthday. It’s definitely a very upscale restaurant. Our server, Moe, was very nice, funny, and attentive. I loved the personalization on our menus for my birthday. The food was to die for, and Moe brought my group two desserts to celebrate. Will absolutely be back next time I’m in Milwaukee!

Went for dinner on Tuesday with a board I’m on at the close of a three day conference. We had a private room upstairs so we could relax, debrief the event, and enjoy a very fine meal together before heading our separate ways after the event. The service was incredible and the food was even better. The only downside for me personally was the cigar smoke coming from the party in the next room...but I suppose the fact that is allowed was a positive for them.

Our dinner date turned into a Whole Experience from start to finish. The Valet (Talon) was so polite and efficient. Once seated (Chase) our Polite & Very Knowledgeable server realized it was our first time, she was quick to make recommendations. We too now, recommend the Calamari & Rock Shrimp Appetizer. Light, Spicy and Oh So Good.😋 Signature Martinis Followed, So refreshing and yet different than anything we ever experienced. Salads were good, However The Baked French Onion Soup was Out of this world. Followed by Pesto Crusted Salmon, Mo's Mouth-Watering Double Baked Potatoes & Grilled Asparagus with Hollandaise mmm. Once Chase realized it was my promised girlfriends Birthday she somehow quickly brought out a pan cooked hot Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake complete with Ice cream and candle. Even the young man who served the water was so polite. We will definitely return. Thanks Mo's for a Delightful evening.

We have spent a couple days reflecting on this before posting. The service was solid and staff attentive (exception was the person pouring water through the night, but maybe it was a rough day for her). What threw us was the price for the value. The prices say "I am a great steakhouse with excellent food", but the food was just bland all around. The steaks were just ok, but no seasoning and lacking that awesome sear. The sides and desserts were equally just ok (still pretty bland and lacking though). Bottom line, almost Texas Roadhouse quality, but at Carnevor prices ($$$). The location was nice with easy parking. Not a huge queue for a last minute reservation, which probably should have been a clue. There are far better places in Milwaukee and I don't see thus place being one we will visit again. Oh, health grade was posted as a B at the time we walked in.

No surprise why this place is popular. service was responsive and attentive to our party but the food....the food was EXCELLENT! Lobster Bisque was savory and smooth as butter. The salmon cooked perfectly; moist and flavorful. the pretzel bread was a hit at our table. the Alaskan sea bass was exquisite, light, flaky resting on a bed of spinach and asparagus. delicious! and the ribeye, flavorful and melt in mouth tender. all I can say is wow! thanks for throwing this party in my mouth! I will say, though, that the tiled walls and hard floors created poor acoustics and while dimly lit for a romantic dining experience, the background chatter was rather loud. despite the environment my party of 6 still had a wonderful time. well done.

The Wagyu Steak was so tasty. The Lobster Bisque was fantastic. And I could have just dined on the appetizers and still be satisfied. The wait staff was so kind and kept things clean around our dining area for our Xmas party. Covid standards were maintained through the dining experience. They were very professional and fun to have around. I would definitely consider going to Mo's Steakhouse for another great meal.

The service was EXCELLENT. I wish all dining had service this PLEASANT and SUPERIOR. It was as if my hubby and I were the only ones in the restaurant. The atmosphere was CALMING. They were willing to accommodate my eating lifestyle as much as they could (I eat no meat and no dairy). My brussel sprouts were sautéed and seasoned thoroughly. My hubby stated this was the BEST prepared steak he has had since we moved to MILWAUKEE. Our attendance here was not planned, as we were just looking for a place to have a quick date in DOWNTOWN MILWAUKEE. I usually do a review after a 2nd visit at a different time of day but this place deserved a review immediately. I will visit again in 2 weeks to make sure my visit is either the same over even better. If it is, my rating will not change. I would love for this place to experiment with upscale vegan dishes!

Started off with a Strawberry Lemonade Martini which was a little tart, but good. We ordered the Calamari Appetizer which included small rock shrimp and jalapeno slices. The spicy citrus sauce was a great touch. Would definitely order this app again! We ordered from the downtown dining menu and selected caesar salad, 8 oz Filet, and New York Cheesecake. Salad was just okay, but the steak, white cheddar mashed potatoes, and veggies were fantastic. My steak was cooked perfectly. I'll definitely be back, but most likely only for a special occasion due to the cost. No picture of the dessert since we had to pack it up to go since we filled up on our entrees!!

The best steak house experience in the state of Wisconsin, nay north of the mason Dixon. The sides, amazing, The salads, phenomenal, We havente even gotten to the main course, They cook the steak to perfection. Every. Time. It's been brought to room temp, it has the diamond grill marks, when it reaches the plate, it's rested, it's juicy, it's perfectly balanced between utter delectableness and perfection. You're not going to get a better steak in Milwaukee. Also, the waiters and waitresses are amazing. Nathan and Hidy deserve a raise and a round of applause for their welcoming style and amazing personality. You can't find people like that. 10/10 would go again

Is place is really nice. I walk my date past the valet and find a dimly lit restaurant clad in dark brown wood panels. Fancy black table cloth and white cloth napkins. We were asked if we were celebrating, and replied in the affirmative. The wait staff is very attentive. Checking in about every 7-10 minutes. I had the signature steak and asparagus. The steak was expertly cooked and juicy with great texture and marbling. My only knock on it was the charred edges. The asparagus was done right. Worth mentioning the staff was notably positive and helpful.

Booked a private room for 12 for my wife's 40th birthday. Kate was the manager who booked everything, she was very responsive to our needs and last minute changes. Private room was perfectly quiet and the three servers were responsive and did a perfect job. The food was phenomenal. I had a 8 oz. Wagyu and it was a perfect medium. lobster Mac n cheese was also delicious. Great Martinis, I had a dirty and a French. Great service and Great food what else can you ask for ?

OMG the steak I had was just unbelievable. The char was perfect. The seasoning did not overpower the flavor of the steak. The steak was cooked to perfection. The flavor was to die for. It was expensive but worth every penny. The staff was great. I went there for my birthday and they brought me a brownie topped with vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate and caramel cream. We had calamari for appetizers. It too was cooked to perfection. The only thing I could ding them on, and this is so petty, the Mac and cheese could use a little salt. Just my taste. It was oozing with cheese. Had a nice little crust. Very good.

Our order was phoned-in and placed to-go with curbside pick-up. It was Hubs Birthday so Son & I wanted to treat him to a special dinner at home. We all ordered the 4oz Filets. Except, I went with an upgrade and chose the Wagyu for my 4oz Filet. Hubs got Crab Legs added on and Son chose the Lobster Tail to add onto his. My Wagyu Filet was excellent! Perfect temperature! Very tender! Very flavorful! I snuck a bite of my Hubs regular Filet just to taste test. While his was excellent in it’s own right, my Wagyu Filet knocked the flavortown out of the park! For our Side’s, we ordered Mashed Potato’s, Creamed Corn and Sautéed Mushrooms. The Mashed Potato’s were very good but they were oddly V E R Y thick. The Creamed Corn was also good but nothing fancy, just Creamed Corn. The Sautéed Mushroom were very good! Each Side was shared between the 3 of us. All 3 Side’s still has left overs, so you DO get enough! Everything was packed neatly into carry bags. We’ll be keeping Mo’s as one of our take-out options from now on! We’ll be back soon with another order! *Didn’t think to take pictures this time. I’ll get some on the next order!

This was, hands down, one of the best meals I've had in a long time. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass with the parmesan mashed potatoes and my husband ordered the wagyu filet. Everything was amazing. Service was excellent. We will definitely come back.

Bar none one of the best steak houses in Milwaukee. Tender steaks you can cut with a fork. Incredible sides dishes that feed more than one. Old school charm and attentive wait staff. Parking is a breeze either vallet or the different lots and parking garages less than a block away. You won't be disappointed coming here.

We recently took a trip to Milwaukee just for a small vacation and we decided to dine at Mo's let me tell you what an experience. The staff attentive to every detail and that is quite refreshing and respectable for a higher end restaurant. I had the wagyu steak which quite literally melted in my mouth , the drinks were delicious. I highly recommend the cosmo and possibly have a Pabst Blue ribbon as a nod to Milwaukee brewing history. If you're looking for a place that is higher on but still low key, make a reservation and pop in for a delicious meal.

Went with friends for dinner on Saturday night. Mo's is a nice place but I would say average for what I would expect from a "downtown" restaurant. The service was adequate the stakes were better then average but nothing to say "WOW" about. I ordered mine medium-rare it was a bit over cooked with no pink in the center. Just not worth the trouble of doing anything about it when there are 3 others at the table. So Mo's is very good, but there are steak houses/ supper clubs in Milwaukee that are much better they just don't have that "downtown atmosphere", one is west of downtown on state St. and the other is in St. Francis.

First time dining at Mo's last night for my fiancés birthday. The entire experience did not disappoint, from the hostess, bartender, wait staff, and valet. They even had a pianist in the bar area, which we thought was a nice touch. Everyone was very personable and sincere, the food was great and I felt on par with the pricing in my experiences. I really couldn't recommend a place in Milwaukee more highly than I do this restaurant. We ordered the ribeye and the lobster Mac with the french onion soup and the pear martini. Every bite was perfection and made the night very special. Chase and Jadie were perfect service with excellent recommendations. The experience at Mo's is the absolute best!!! My husband and I had dinner here while celebrating a kid-free weekend. The food was good, but the service was excellent and constant! We had employees constantly filling our water cups, clearing plates, and checking in. I didn't feel interrupted, but did feel like they really cared about me and my experience. I thoroughly enjoyed our time and highly recommend Mo's for the experience alone!

Had my birthday dinner here, I paid 20 per person for a private room (7 person party) got there and was taken up stairs to a room where other parties were at, I was highly disappointed. Felt like I was not properly made aware about the private room or semi private room at that. The food was alright, I order an 4 oz Wagyu steak it was not any different from any other steak i have had. 2 other ppl order the same thing and was not satisfied either. The ribs, lobster bisque soup, and mashed potatoes were great but the steaks were not. This was my first time here and I probably won't be coming back the waitresses and staff were extremely awesome just felt that I have eaten at other establishments that were cheaper and the steak was way better and a less grade of steak.

Very nice place. Customer service was excellent and very attentive. It was busy crowd but servers always kept it moving. We was able to get seated right away. However, some of the food I didn't really care for. The steak was delicious tho! The best steak I've ever had ( and I've had many steak places). Perfectly cook, well seasoned, great portion. I would recommend this place for the great customer experience and some good steak, but some of the sides could of been a little better in my opinion, but still wouldn't mind coming back.

Spontaneous birthday trip and heard about this wonderful steak house while passing through Milwaukee Mo's. I had the crab cakes which was perfect with a great sauce, truffle parmesan cheese fries that were very good and my pride and joy of beef the wagyu steak. Wasn't 100% wagyu but the 50/50 was excellent, cooked to perfection and sent my compliments to the chief.

Hands down the best dining experience we have ever had! We where in town celebrating our fresh engagement and decided to make a reservation, we showed up a little early and where ready to wait at the bar but got offered to be seated immediately which was fantastic! Top 10 steak house in MKE so far. Pricey but worth it if you're looking for a carnivore meal. Make a solid WI old fashion. Service is great. Steak cooked to exactly as I asked. We had a private dinner party of about 30 people. Appetizers were amazing! Succulent bacon wrapped scallops, meaty mimi crab cakes, XL Shrip cocktail, all outstanding! 12oz felet was tender and done to a pink perfection! Unfortunately, I ordered grilled lobster with it - it came with crab legs! 😢 Rather then sending the whole dinner back, I kept it and had them bring a lobster tail. That didn't come until I was done with my dinner. Generous side dishes were served family style, which was nice. The mushrooms were canned and not very flavorful 😢 Open bar was the highlight for most us! Even though they could not properly make a Bloody Mary 😢

The food was great, but the service left something to be desired. It took 20 minutes for the waitress to take our order and we weren't checked on until we were almost done with our entrees. There are plenty of good steakhouses in the area, so I probably won't be coming back.

If you’re looking for a very special night out, you’ve found the place! Not only do you get great food but they know how to make their customers feel special. Valet was great, we came with a very expensive car and without hesitation parked it in front of the door to look after it. Appetizer - may I recommend the calamari and rock shrimp. Fantastic! Best calamari I’ve had out. The steaks were great, and they come with a salad at no charge - we had creamy Caesar dressing which was great. Warm bread and butter was excellent. Sides are large and indulgent - the bauman potato is a must try as are the Brussels sprouts. The waitstaff was great, we had Kate and Mo - who were both fantastic. I’d strongly recommend ending the night with the homemade cheesecake! It’s creamy and rich without being too sweet. Served with fresh strawberries. Indulgent. If you’re visiting Milwaukee or just looking for a great night out - give this place a try, you’ll be happy you did.

Visited tonight with a friend from out of town. Friend from out of town was having her first trip out after vaccination and there were a lot of folks at Mo's. Anxiety affects us all differently, but my friend was overwhelmed. The staff at Mo's were consummate professionals, arranged for us to take everything to go, and were generally wonderful. Every year at Christmas time my family gets together for a holiday meal. This year we decided on Mo's. We were not disappointed. They took care of us from the beginning. They listened to us and made sure everything exceeded expectations. They went out of their way to make sure we were safe. Of course, the food did not disappoint. My wife, who rarely finishes her meal, ate every last morsel of her steak because it was so good. Also, I highly recommend the calamari appetizer. We come here every year for our anniversary and we are never disappointed. I LOVE this place. The steaks are some of the best in town. They have an extensive wine list that starts around $11 a glass up to $500. The sides are family sized and plenty enough to share between two people. Every year they bring out a warm chocolate chip cookie plate just when i think i cant eat anymore. This warm gooey chocolate chip cookie is almost as good as the steaks. Planning on coming here for many years to come.

A good place for steak. I had a NY strip (medium rare) and it was good (very good). It was not melt in your mouth, exceptionally good. For the price and competition, I was hoping for a little more. Sides all very good. A nice place, no objections if someone were to suggest this spot, but it will not be my first choice to grab a high end steak dinner.

Mos does not disappoint. They have a piano player. Great drinks and steak. Lobster Mac and cheese is fantastic. However lobster bisque soup is average. It is difficult to order steaks because what us medium at one restaurant is medium-rare at another... definitely experienced that here.

It's not cheap. But you get what you pay for. The filet mignons are simply impeccable (it rivals some steakhouses with Michelin stars), and the scallop is incredibly tender as well. I recommend you look for Annalise if you happen to visit on Monday. 10/10 would visit again.

The calamari appetizer I had was exquisite and the steak was tender and beautifully prepared. My party was uniformly impressed with the quality of the meat, and it was a lovely meal. Our only problem is that there was a strong draft at our table that was cold enough that my mother had to put her jacket back on. The food was definitely worth the price, but the ambience left something to be desired.

I came in the night of august 1st and I was celebrating my birthday. I forgot the waiters name but he was probably the best waiter I’ve ever had! I had told him that me and my girlfriend had went to harbor house before and I had to mention it was so much better. Out of nowhere he brought out maybe 5 different deserts and he presented them to me and continued with “happy birthday, now I never want you to ever say harbor house ever again” and I would also like to mention that I’ve never had a steak as good as I did here... EVER! 10 out of 10 recommend and I will definitely be coming back.

We ordered the New York Strip Loin and Filet Mignon with Truffle Mashed Potato and Pepper Jack Mac N’ Cheese. We requested both steaks be cooked to medium. I made an extra comment that I’d prefer it closer to medium rare than medium. Unfortunately, my steak had little to no pink. My wife’s steak was cooked perfectly. I didn’t send my steak back because it took a while for the waitress to check on us. It was still tasty, but for about $50 a steak I’d prefer it be cooked correctly. The Truffled Mashed Potatoes were delicious. The Pepper Jack Mac N’ Cheese was good, but nothing too special. I was a little torn on 3 or 4 stars because my wife’s meal was fantastic and mine was just okay. We may visit again to give it another shot.

Went to Mo's last night to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Requested a table by the window, and told them of the event when I booked online. Everything was superb. We had a nice window seat. The menus said "Happy Birthday." The waiter was knowledgeable, soft spoken, and attentive. We all got filets which were done to perfection. They served a signature cookie for dessert. It was warm from the oven with ice cream and chocolate syrup. Mo's is a bit pricey, but well worth it!

We had a party of 12 people on a Wednesday night. Service was impeccable. The food was all amazing. The table ordered a variety of appetizers, salads and entrees. All were cooked to perfection and served up quickly. Highlights were the calamari, lobster mac and cheese, of course the bone-in rib eye steaks. The Cesar salad is very good as well. Evening was finished off with a selection of various desserts. All were fantastic. The old fashions at the bar before were really good as well. A great place to dine.

Went inside and we were quickly seated. The place wasn't busy so they were able to get us right in. After a few minutes looking at the menu I decided on the Lobster Bisque and a New York Strip steak. Both were excellent in taste. I liked how they brought out the bowl for the soup with the pieces of lobster in it and then poured the cream soup on top of it.

My husband and I had an overnight getaway (Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa!) and we ended up eating dinner at Mo's. We didn't have reservations so we ended up eating at the bar. The bartender was amazing! He was always there when we needed him, even this a completely packed bar. The food was also the BEST! I ordered the crab legs and there were hands down the best I have had! My husband had a steak and lobster and he also said it was amazing! I would recommend Mo's to anyone! :)

The service and atmosphere were great. I ordered a NY strip cooked to medium. My fiancé order the filet mignon, cooked to medium. The NY strip was cooked medium well with very little to no pink. I was also surprised how bland and flavorless the steak was considering the good reviews. This was my first time at this restaurant. My fiancé liked her filet mignon but wasn’t the best. The sides were okay as well. There are other restaurants close by that offers better steaks.

So this was our first time going here. My friends and I usually go to 5 O Clock Steakhouse, and wanted to change it up this time. For let me say if you go, ask for Mo. Yes, there is a waiter at Mo's with the name Mo. He was well above exceptional. The way he went through the menu, he was attentive during our whole experience there. He gave his picks of things and didn't steer us wrong at all and his interactions with us felt genuine. We sat on the 2nd floor and got to people watch the drunk people leave Mo's Irish pub from across the street and watch people struggle to parallel park lol. Everything was exceptional and I definitely plan on coming back for my birthday in a couple weeks

Great service and the best food! We have come here twice recently while visiting from Chicago. We stay at the Pfister so it’s convenient bc it’s really close by in the downtown area, and you can valet. I like to start with the shrimp cocktail, yum! (Only 4 shrimp is my only complaint but -still good). My favorite entree is the Wagyu steak with king crab legs! So Delicious! The crab legs are cooked perfectly. The Wagyu steaks are a must try. Tonight my fiancé and I had a great time and the service was outstanding-even better than our first visit, thanks to our servers Ben and Mo. We look forward to coming back soon! :)

We celebrated our anniversary here and it DID NOT disappoint! Mo’s has risen way above the COVID challenge, delivering service and food that delights and surprises (no excuses here, although we felt very safe and cared for). From a novel calamari and rock shrimp appetizer with a dynamite, piquant sauce, to a smooth and velvety lobster bisque to a divine Chilean sea bass with a sauce to die for! The drinks as well were expertly made. Thank God that fine dining is still alive and well in Milwaukee.

Fantastic! Great culinary experience if you love steak. They have Kobe steak, ny strips, tbone, flanks, dry aged, and many others. Our steaks were perfectly cooked. The sides are family style so larger portions. We ordered 3 for the table. We tried the mashed potatoes with garlic butter, creamed spinach, and mushrooms sauteed in butter sauce. All 3 were delicious. We tried different types of wines from Shiraz to Cabernet to Riesling and they were good too. They gave us a sampler of desserts on the house which was awesome. We also tried the Taylor port wine after dinner. Overall a wonderful experience. Service was good too.

Phenomenal atmosphere, host/hostess, server, food and wine selection. We saw a show at the Riverside after dinner. They actually kept the bone from my huband's steak in an actual doggy bag in the fridge for our dog Daisy Mae until after the show. Such a classy place. What a phenomenal restaurant. My friend and I were in town for a show Thursday night and wanted a nice dinner prior. Both our Uber driver and our front desk clerk recommended Mo's. They did not steer us wrong. The wait staff was amazing and the food exceptional. We arrived as the restaurant was opening and were kindly told that our table would be ready in a few minutes. We chose to sit at the bar and have a cocktail as we waited. Great service at the bar (thank you Ben and Sean). On to dinner where our meal was unbelievable. Our server Danielle was great. She knew we were off to a show so made sure we were served in a timely manner. She shook our hands, called us by name and sent us off with full bellies and smiles. After the show, we came back for drinks and an appetizer ( I highly recommend the bisque). Again we were so impressed with the food and service that I felt the need to let the owner know what a great place and staff he had. Jamie took the time to chat and made it a point to go over and introduce himself to my friend. He invited us back the next evening to be entertained by Gianni Russo and that we were. Meeting the owner and several of his friends made it an extra special experience. Thank you Eric, Jeff and Santino for the drinks. Never have I frequented a restaurant 3 times in less than 30 hours. That says a lot. We are hoping to see you all again soon! THANK YOU!

I took my boyfriend to Mo's for his birthday, and it was absolutely FANTASTIC. We went during a time that wasn't too busy, and it was a nice, quiet, cozy atmosphere. Our server was very pleasant, attentive, and helpful. The food was absolutely wonderful. Bruschetta appetizer, delicious fresh bread with a unique chocolate butter (also wonderful), fresh salad, and steaks cooked to perfection. They also brought us a complimentary birthday desert for my boyfriend and I to share. We both had a great time, loved the food, and will definitely be coming back!

This is a fantastic place to experience a wagyu steak. My partner and I both had the 8oz american wagyu. They use a grill so there's a very distinct flavor. The service was near perfect and the atmosphere was great. I didn't like hearing the cheers from the bar downstairs but, that's personal.

Had a fantastic meal last night!! We were a little underdressed, so we ate at the bar and had excellent service. I've worked as a waiter myself, so I really appreciated their attention to detail and genuinely warm exchanges. The 12oz fillet was unbelievably tender and cooked perfectly; it melts in your mouth! I also highly recommend the (HUGE) twice baked potato and wedge salad. As good as it gets!!

Fantastic dinner. We went early on a Thursday night about 6:30. They were super attentive. We had the beet and goat cheese salad, the French onion soup, the dainty lady, and steak wagyu. The scallops were really good and the wagyu lived up to the hype. Very strong drinks and delicious cheesecake. Overall wonderful experience that matched the cost.

Bit over priced for al la cart dinning. Bone-In ribeye $61, asparagus 9 dollars and lobster bisque 12 dollars. Steak cooked as requested but was tough, need to marinate with sea salt and olive oil for at least 2 hours and then cook room tempature. For the price one wld expect tender piece of meat and not chewy! Lobster bisque tasted like sugar was added and too much! Asparagus grilled still had hard ends on!!! And a small cup of coffee was $4 and glass of tea $4. I travel 50 weeks a year as a consultant (not so much now having to ride out the temp housing in a city I am not gonna stay on term) and not complaining about the price but the quality for a $100 dollar meal should be quality! And ur drink an or water should never go dry!!!! For a nice restaurant I can tell right off if quality is coming and that is because they filter the water they give you so it does not taste like chlorine in ur mouth! Well you guessed it water had strong city water chlorin taste. For overall service and quality I wld give it a 5 out of 10. Cheers!

Mo, thank you for everything. The salmon was perfectly crusted and seasoned. The potatoes were properly mashed. The service was top tier. I’ve never experienced such fine dining. And the dessert, let me tell you. The warm cookie melted in my mouth and it was topped with mouth-watering, chilled vanilla ice cream. To die for! 5/5. 10/10. I would give it 6 stars if I could. I've been here twice and have had great service and food each time. The atmosphere is pleasant and will likely return. My filet was excellent, however, their Sea Bass was lacking flavor. Their lobster Mac & Cheese tasted like regular mac and cheese - there was very little if any lobster flavor. The service was outstanding. Very attentive and friendly staff.

I took my mother and sister here for my mothers birthday and we all absolutely loved it! We sat in the lounge and the atmosphere was amazing! Live pianist, overall excellent waiting staff, and didn't have to wait very long for food! We all got the 8oz fillet with the rockfort sauce on top and rolled in garlic best steak iv ever had!! Absolutely best dining experience iv ever had. And for the price it really is worth it. I paid for all 3 of us to eat for only $220 excluding the tip. Can't wait to go back!

We were out of towners celebrating our anniversary. We had read many wonderful reviews about Mo's A Place for Steaks and it was within walking distance of out hotel. I don't think there could've been a better option for us. The food was AMAZING! The staff was professional and beyond friendly. The steak is obviously fantastic- the house rub is excellent. I felt their interpretation of medium rare on my 16oz NY strip was a bit too close to medium for my typical liking but the tenderness of the steak and the flavor corrected for that. Let's talk about those sides though. The roasted brussel sprouts are probably the main attraction, grilled divinely with bacon. The sauteed mushrooms were far beyond the typical soggy shrooms you might get elsewhere- these were crisp and firm with some sort of oil that was delicious. Couldn't quite put my finger on it but may have been light truffle oil. Drinks were standard higher end fare, their spin on an old fashioned is definitely worth the $14. The elderflower was an interesting twist. Great service, very good steakhouse overall. Was somewhat surprised by the guy wearing a t-shirt but hey, I don't make the dress code.

We decided to go to Mo's for a birthday dinner and as this place is rated one of the best places for steak in Milwaukee.... their staff is just as amazing as their food. We had the privilege of being served by Adrien and Jessica at our table and Ben at the bar! They were so incredibly nice and offered plenty of advice for our trip! They also bought us a birthday dessert as well as a birthday shot that evening. We will most certainly come back to this restaurant and we will be sure to share our pleasant experience with all of our St. Louis friends traveling to Milwaukee! Made reservations through Google maps / OpenTable. Seated immediately. Service was excellent. The 8oz beef fillet was one of the best I've ever had. Fiance had the 4oz waygu fillet which was also good. Paired both with the brussel sprouts making a great combination. They threw-in complimentary dessert for Valentine's day, a nice surprise. Not cheap, but the food and service defiantly made it worth it.

Mo's was great in every way possible. We went there for my wife's birthday on a Friday. We got there about 30 minutes before our reservation, and sat at the bar. The atmosphere was fun, there was a live piano player. The place has a very upscale feel, but not modern upscale, old rich person upscale. The bar tenders were very friendly, and made good drinks. Drinks were not way overpriced, probably around 8 bucks for a mixed drink, possibly cheaper for a beer. When we sat down, the service was excellent. The waiter brought out a palatter of raw steaks, and gave us a description of each one. This made choosing much easier, and less of a guessing game. The steaks were all pricey, between 40-90 bucks. The entrees were cheaper. I got the Mo's signature rib-eye, it was amazing. I asked how it was recommended to be cooked, and the waiter was very helpful in describing the best options for that cut. My wive had a filet, with bacon wrapped scallops. The scallops were the best I've ever tasted. The sides are not included, and the Lobster bisque was also extra. The Lobster bisque was amazing also. Really rich! At the end, they brought out chocolate chip bread pudding with whipped cream, which was very good. The entire staff of Mo's wished my wife a happy birthday every time they saw her too! Overall it was expense, but totally worth it in my opinion.

I have been to Carnivore, 5 o clock, capital grille, and Carsons. None of them have stacked up to my experience tonight. For apps we had the bacon wrapped scallops (which were perfectly cooked) and the baked french onion which had the perfect balance of flavors that made me and girlfriend beg for the recipe. We opted to share the 12 oz filet crab oscar style with a side of truffle mash and the bacon brussel sprouts. The steak was perfect cooked mid rare with an obscene amount of crab meat. The sprouts were crispy and perfectly matched with the steak. The truffle mashed was unrivaled to any mashed potatoes that Ive ever had. Besides the food the service was extremely friendly yet professional. Food came out in within 10 minutes and faster than I expected. To Top it off we ended up getting the cookie with ice cream. It was dessert unlike any I've any had. Don't waste your time with another steak house. Come here and be happy.

Very classy place with valet service and 2-3 servers per table. This was our 2nd visit here, and we were celebrating my birthday. Stopping in the middle of the road for valet service seemed a little dangerous, but it went off without a hitch. (We pulled off into the parking lane for valet service on our 1st visit). My baked French Onion soup, filet, and bacon-wrapped scallops were all delicious. My husband's steak was overcooked (he ordered med-rare, but got one that was nearly well-done). When he sent it back to be re-fired, our main server could definitely have been more gracious (she didn't apologize at all, and actually came back to the table telling us that the chef argued that it WAS med-rare, and "what was he (my husband) looking for"? The re-fired filet was perfect, but the servers avoided our table for a full 20-30 min while it was cooking, and the manager never came to the table to smooth our feathers. We weren't looking to get anything for free, and wouldn't have accepted the deduction if it had been offered, but that situation was mis-handled. Overall, still a good experience. We will definitely be back.

My three stars rating doesn't necessarily pertain to the food or service but comes from a "blue collar", unfamiliar with the territory point of view. Our waitress Kate was outstanding! Service was above and beyond what we expected. I can say the same about the pricing as well and thus my rating. Yes the food was tasty and cooked to perfection but OMG.. one review says "it's a little pricey" and it's more than a little pricey in our opinion! We may be from a small town etc; but nothing and I mean NOTHING could have prepared us for these kind of prices! Example, my Surf and Turf was a "deal" at $60 for a 6 oz.lobster tail and a 4 oz.filet. No potato. No vegetable. No side dish. A regular salad. SIXTY DOLLARS! My "Martini- like" drink called the Vesper in a Martini sized glass? $15.. Just saying that even though I checked out their website before we arrived and since it showed no prices, I did expect it to be upscale and "pricey" but pricey in our opinion is a huge, huge understatement. If you are blessed enough to comfortably spend $75 on a kid size portion of "melt in your mouth" filet, lobster tail, and a small drink without sides then I guess a 4-5 star rating is appropriate.

Now the downside of Mo's....I have yet to eat another steak that can even come close to comparing to what I had at Mo's. So now I find myself comparing every steak to Mo's and there just is no comparison. Dont get me wrong even though, I can never eat a steak again anywhere else and maybe that's a good thing? Menu is pricey but you let me know where your going to find a Waygu steak under a hundred bucks....staff was spot on and extremely attentive. I'd give this place more stars if I could......
