Reviews of Momo Mee Asian Cuisine

I’ve been living in Milwaukee all my life and I never knew about this place until a couple months ago. Ever since then this is my favorite restaurant for Asian food. I always get the Spicy Korean Noodles with chicken. The flavor and spice is literally perfect every time. They have some of the best rolls I’ve ever had. I recommend the Fresh Spring Rolls and the Crispy Spring rolls! The Yakisoba and fried rice are also delicious! 10/10 The service, however, changes by server not everyone gives you the same attention.

We went here for lunch. It was crowded at 1pm on the weekend. By 2pm, there was much less crowded. Make sure you get an online reservation during busy hours. Food was good, but everything was salty. The service wasn’t good. We had to ask for drink refills and other things, thus minus 1 star. We were waiting along time for our food. The dumplings came first, then at least 20 minutes later the rest of our order arrived at the table. Yes, there were tables that came after us, got their food before us as we were waiting for the rest of our order, minus 1 star for that.

Excellent food was had but the most impressive part was the owner's active involvement in supervision to make sure his guests were accommodated in a timely fashion. Our server, Marisol, went out or her way for our vegan dinner companions to make sure everything was within their dietary needs. Excellent dining experience.

A different type of Asian Restaurant. Not an easy location to find but worth the effort. Momo Mee has a feel of Dim Sum but served in large portions, a non traditional Asian Restaurant with a limited menu, and a good portion of the menu is rated spicy.
That being said, we enjoyed our first time there. My wife had heard about their Steamed Dumplings/ Fried Pot Stickers as being great. She absolutely loved them. I ordered the Spicy Szechuan Wings. The blend of heat and spice was perfect to inhance the flavor of the wings.
My wife then had the Cantonese Stir Fry Egg Noodles with Shrimp, while I had the Szechuan Mala in a Clay Pot. We enjoyed both very much, although my wife wished for more Shrimp and a few less noodles.
We will be coming back. We both saw items on the menu that we would like to try. Like the Fried Pot Stickers and the Spicy Wonton.

What an amazing place. Fabulous food, hand made each day fresh soup dumplings. The food was absolutely great. Service was wonderful too I love that our server explained to us how to eat soup dumplings. The manager came by several times to check on things. Really great quality and a great dining experience. Highly recommend.

Decent Asian food tucked away in a random corner of an outdoor strip mall. The beef mandu were tasty and paired well with the accompanying sauce. I also really liked the szechuan mala clay pot, though it wasn't terribly spicy as advertised. My girlfriend enjoyed her Japanese garlic eggplant. The only item I would strongly recommend against would be the Shanghai noodles - the texture and flavors were extremely boring.
It wasn't the most authentic meal I've had but not a bad option for Asian food in Milwaukee.

Highly recommend! All three of us thought the 8 Xiao Long Bao were INCREDIBLE!! Best soup dumplings EVER ... and you can only get them when you dine-in! We met Owner/Chef Tony and had a lovely time. I wish I remembered our server's name. She was attentive, friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Not a budget meal, but I brought home enough leftovers to put together lunch for my son and me the next day. Parking was plentiful with several disabled spots. Be sure to make reservations. It's a popular place!

Delicious! The ramen is generous. We asked for it to be split into 2 bowls. The picture show us half of 1 order! Order the Xioa Long Bao soup dumpling! You won’t regret it!
Carlos
Love this place! They have great bao, and their cocktail drinks are really delicious as well. Their signature bao are made in-house so they have a limited amount. I've never been there when they've ran out but just a heads up. Highly recommend their signature bao, so flavorful and savory.

Nice spot for the area. Unfortunately, lacks depth of flavor. Definitely Americanized food, but good for the area. Drinks were good and service was really nice. Ramen needed some savory/umami notes with the salt. Beijing noodles needed some savory or sweet note with the salt notes. Loved that they make soup dumplings - fairly thick casing and soup needed some umami but very filling. Chicken and other meats are prime cuts and very tender - no grisly pieces. Thankful for a spot like this in Milwaukee and the locals seem to love it

I am from California, so I will be missing this location until further notice, but I made sure to go twice before leaving Milwaukee, WI. Delicious food and amazing service every time. The food is always tasting fresh and looks amazing. Staff is very friendly and prompt with their service. They really do take care of you in there. This is not so relevant to the food, but I think it matters and speaks volume about their service and staff. I came straight after work both times, so I was in my work clothes both times and I felt a bit out of place since almost everyone was wearing suits and causal clothes, but the staff made us feel extremely welcomed and treated us amazingly. Not only did they seat us quite fast, but they literally made us feel right at home, and I truly appreciate that.
First time I was there I ordered the Fried Potstickers as an appetizer, and they we’re tasty. They had a nice crunch on the outside and great flavor on the inside. They were also all very generous in size. I’ve had potstickers less than half the size I got here. For my entree, I ordered the Shrimp Tom Yum Soup. It was full of flavor and the lemongrass elevated the entire dish. The soup was fresh and felt very light. It was a bit spicy, which balanced all the fresh ingredients in the soup. The noodles were also very good and perfectly cooked, not to hard and not too soft. Needless to say that I enjoyed every bite of it.
The second time I ordered the Pork Belly Taiwanese Gua Bao as an appetizer, and they were very good. The bun was soft and fluffy. The pork belly was very well marinated and perfectly cooked. The addition of fresh veggie slices balanced the appetizer well. For my entree, I ordered a Jjamppong, which I totally recommend if you’re into spicy shrimp soups. The soup was so delicious and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. I enjoyed this soup very much as well, all the flavor was there. The noodles were thicker than the ones I had previously ordered, but still delicious and would most definitely order it again. To drink I had a Thai iced tea, and it was perfectly sweet and balanced. Their Thai iced tea feels light in my opinion, and not as heavy to the stomach like others I’ve had before (not here). To end the meal, I had a hot blueberry hibiscus tea, and it was the most calming and relaxing experience, especially at the very end of a delicious meal. It tasted great.
I have not tried any of their deserts, but I will next time. Definitely recommend this place. They have amazing food and service.

I've been waiting for a time to try this place! Finally made a reservation and enjoyed some great food! Reservations are recommended, as it gets pretty busy. The staff is very knowledgeable of the menu, and you have to try the soup dumplings at least once! We also had the spicy chicken Gua Bao buns and noodles. We ended up sharing everything since it was our first time here. All the food was so good, and some of the best in Milwaukee. They had plenty of options for drinks too! Overall we had a great ice and enjoyed the food, we will definitely be going back!

Their Momo (Dumplings) are very flavorful and a great entree by themselves or good to share as an appetizer. I loved the Momo Mee Famous Xiao Long Bao which is available in a limited quantity each day. You need to be careful as the hot broth can burst from the dumpling and burn your mouth if you don’t poke a hole in it and let it cool a bit.
For my entree I had the Twaiwanese Braised Pork Rice Bowl which had lots of great flavors combined into one dish. The soft egg adds some extra moisture and the braised pork pieces were very tender.
Seating is limited, so it’s good to call ahead for reservations.
Sonia Stevie
Not the best food or dining experience this time around. The young man handed us the menus and told us where to sit instead of seating us which was quite the opposite of what they are expected to do but perhaps just needs a gentle training reminder. Some upset customer and female staff member engaged in a back and forth argument at the bar and caused a scene which lasted quite some time even as it continued outside which was unfortunate. I've been here several times and it's been inconsistent with food quality. The Shanghai noodles were one note spicy with beef but left me unimpressed. Spice level was high and penetrated in everything. It was tolerable but not in a desirable flavorful way. The others in my party had noodle dishes too which had beef but with the broccoli provided a better balance of flavor.
Heather L.
Momo Mee has a cute atmosphere. The service was solid and quick. As for the food.... I would say Momo Mee would be a great entry point for someone who has never had dim sum before. The items we ordered (Pork Belly Bao, Dan Dan noodles, Xiao Long Bao, and ShuMai) were lacking a depth of flavor and had next to no umami vibes. For someone wanting to try a new cuisine this would be a way to dip one's toe in the water. As the flavors are pretty muted, but you get an idea of what the cuisine is all about. Think of it this way, some folks may want to try vanilla ice cream before trying a full-of-everything ice cream. If you love dim sum and are looking for some goodies, Momo Mee may not be the most satisfying experience for you.

Went here on Black Friday as it was one of the few Asian restaurants open at the time. Was seated immediately and the service was both courteous and efficient. I had the Katsudon with breaded pork cutlet, carrots, scallions, and a fried egg, all served on a bed of rice with house katsu sauce on the side. The cutlet was tender and welll breaded, the egg was fried perfectly, and the Katsu sauce was a fantastic blend of sweet and savory. The only downside to the atmosphere is the tables are very close together. I heard the neighboring couple's conversation to the point of I felt I was part of it.
Rex Mercer
What an absolutely amazing find! The dumplings were amazing and some of the best I've ever had. If you're in the area it's definitely a must try!
Brianna Wright
Milwaukee’s dumpling experts! Highly recommend getting sharable menu items over full meals. Drinks are ok. Depending on how busy they are and how many people are in your party can really effect your experience. A group of 2-3 seems to be the ideal number to go with to have good service.
Kalasy Lor
Came here with a large group last minute (reserved about an hour before arriving), so pretty grateful they were able to accommodate.
I ordered the pork belly bao, Szechuan spicy wontons, and xiao long bao soup dumplings.
Didn’t really care for the spicy wontons. The pork belly bao and the soup dumplings were amazing.
The service provided was really good. Overall we all enjoyed our meal and the experience there.
Brice M
The food was delicious! Every meal was superb so I won't bother naming a star of the show.
Make reservations ahead of time!
Kennedy
This was absolutely hands down the best asian fushion restaurant I've been to in Milwaukee! Everything from the appetizers to the dumpling to the entree and even the dessert was just hit after hit after hit. The price is reasonable and portions are perfect. 100% will come again and again.
Tiffany Bui
Came in close to closing time with a group of 7 but they graciously sat us. Food was great and the service was even better. Our server, Michael, really added to our good experience. The Moonstone Martini was really nice. Their Xiao Long Bao is better than Din Tai Fung's.
Farah Ali
Amazing service and delicious food! MOMO MEE is a hidden gem in Milwaukee, WI. The food and service here is absolutely amazing . Our server was really nice and super friendly. She was extremely helpful explaining the different items on the menu and the spice levels. She made good recommendations.
The portion sizes are generous. Everything was so colorful and bursting with flavors. The Taiwanese gua bao , spicy chicken wings and Korean spicy noodles are a must must try. It’s a pretty big menu with lots of options. Kids approved it too. Hi Hi

WAYY underrated. Don't be fooled by all the white people in there 😂 the founders are from Hong Kong and wow their soup dumplings and really EVERYTHING was very good
@midwestmunching for more on Instagram
Got the soup dumplings (limited supply), crispy orange beef (highly recommend), Singaporean Noodles, beef chow fun 🐮, Szechuan spicy chicken wings, and Dan Dan noodles 🍜
Everything was nice, stir fried without being too oily or wet, flavorful, and really juicy with loads of meat and toppings. The only thing that didn't meet expectations was the Dan Dan noodles, too dry and the noodles weren't chewy enough

Phenomenal High Quality Asian Fair. The highest quality need and organic chicken served in all dishes. Noodle dishes, dumplings, desserts are all a must try. The menu is extensive with all made items fresh daily! The unique peppers that create a tingle in your mouth and lips is such a different experience, a must try! The broth is homemade you can not find any broth in Wisconsin like the broth made here. You will come back! The best Asian fair in Wisconsin and the Midwest! Come soon!
Marcelo E. Lopez A.
Great option to eat asian foods, not just limited to one kind of cuisine. The xian long bao as a must here! The japchae was really good and place was packed during lunch! The service was very good and food came out quick.
Adriana Mora
Everything was excellent, the food was just great. Try this place you will not regret it. The only thing is that you should try to have a reservation ahead of time.
Brian Hinkle
Business lunch. Food is tremendous. Staff very kind. Dumplings out of this world. Spicy Korean Noodles with shrimp.
Michael Gabriel
Absolutely one of the best offerings in the Milwaukee areas and quite possible the best asian cuisine I have ever eaten. Soup dumplings are to die for! This is one of those places where everything is amazing, from any of the food, to the staff. Fried rice, pot stickers, shumai, fried rice, ramen, orange glazed beef, and dessert donuts are all absolutely delicious!!!

I am a regular at Mo Mo Mee. The delicious food never disappoints. I don’t have just one favorite entree because
every item on the menu I’ve tried is full of exquisite flavors and the portions are very generous. The host and waitstaff are extremely friendly! I always feel at home when I dine in. The owners Tony and Kim greet us as if we are part of their family. It’s become one of my favorite restaurants in Milwaukee. I highly recommend Mo Mo Mee.
MarieAdaLiz
What a wonderful gem of a restaurant. The reviews are true. The food is great, the owner is so caring, asked us if we wanted the music down since we were sitting by the speaker we of course said no. Our waiter was Crispin a great friendly person. He showed us how to properly eat Xia Long Bao a soup dumpling and it was good to know because I know one of us would’ve burnt our mouth. We will definitely be back and let all our friends and family know.
Melissa Lukasko
It's hard to find restaurants in the Milwaukee area that serve soup dumplings and Momo Mee does not disappoint.
I pretty much exclusively go for the soup dumplings. Love love love.
I've gotten noodle dishes as well and they have all been very good. The staff is also really knowledgeable about all the dishes and can make recommendations or adjustments, like kicking up the spice level in something not typically spicy. Yes please!
A R
We stopped in after hearing so much about it! (Make a reservation) we were not disappointed! Try the mala- so unique. Can’t wait to come back
Tosh Gibson
The service was excellent. My girlfriend ordered fried chicken wings, gua bao pork belly bun, and dan dan noodles. I got the Taiwanese braised pork belly w/ rice. Also had fried banana lumpia and vanilla ice cream. Everything we ate was delicious.
Wings-N-Whisky Meat and potatoes
Food was good, service was great. Pleasant atmosphere. Could be tricky to find set, under a condo building.
Jamie Horner
One of my favorite places in Milwaukee! Consistently good food, no matter what is ordered. They have a lot of great options and I’ve liked everything I’ve tried. Nice, clean environment with a good at atmosphere.
Curtis
Came in for some Xiao long bao. I can say that you will not be able to find something as or more authentic in the area. Bartender Mike was very friendly and the lofi music just hits the spot. Definitely recommend and will come back again for sure.
Adrianna Tapia
I come here often and the staff is always so friendly and efficient. The food is 10/10, especially the soup dumplings and Korean spicy noodles. The drinks are great, not too strong where it’s overwhelming but also enough perfect amount of alcohol to taste ratio. Overall, love this place!
Nathan
Alessandra, our server went way out of her way to make sure that we had an amazing experience at the restaurant and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The owner and chef is super friendly and nice and so down to earth. The food is Top Notch. It was extra special being served by not only an amazing young woman but one who is so beautiful inside and out.
Sarah Boese
The young lady with the 2 braids (not sure if I asked her name) who bartends and waitresses is AWESOME and is really helpful with the menu and what i was looking for. It was my first time there. It was a classy restaurant with great staff and atmosphere. I couldn't believe the price for the portion and quality. And everything was so delicious 😋 I would definitely come back and will tell everyone about it!
Ryley Rahaman
Fantastic food and staff!!! We got seated right away and ordered the Famous Momo, ramen and crispy spring rolls. The food and presentation was 10/10, and IF you have any leftovers, it's still super good reheated. New favorite restaurant, please check it out, you won't be disappointed!!! :)
John Perry
Easily one of the best restaurants in Milwaukee. Highly recommend the soup dumplings (we are addicted). Every dish I have tried has been sumptuous and unique! Shout out to Lizz the hose, she is always super friendly and attentive! A+
Matt Olson
Was never a big fan of any of the Asian buns but they had pork belly bun that is fantastic. Not deep fried pork belly. Very flavorful and tender. I sat at the bar. Bartender was very attentive. Would recommend.
Vijayalakshmi Indira
Good food. Went there on Sunday and did not have reservations. Took a long wait time as it was packed. Lesson learned. Wish they had more dessert selections. Quite a lot of options for vegetarians and they did customize our Singapore noodles. Would definitely go again!
Guillermo Salas
A little on the expensive side for the type of restaurant and ambiance.
Food was delicious though, and some portions are huge. Don't come too hungry or you may order with your eyes and empty stomach (I did).
Casual atmosphere and friendly service. Could have used more "guidance" in ordering, bit overall a fun experience.
Will visit again, this time with a plan and some experience.
Elia Rodriguez
Delicious food and very attentive service every time I dine here. You can’t go wrong trying new things on the menu. The Korean spicy noodles and wontons are fantastic. Make sure to make a reservations to guarantee a great meal, worth it!
Tori See
They were super busy but all the staff had a great attitude and stayed on top of their game the whole time! The kitchen did slow down a bit during the dinner rush but nothing you wouldn't expect for a busy night and well worth it! There were 2 people there (presumably the owners?) who were helping constantly and making sure everything was going well for everyone dining in. Dumplings were amazing! I had a clay pot, and my partner had a rice bowl and we both loved them!
Jz
The food is absolutely delicious here. My husband and I are incredibly happy we decided to go today cause now we have a spot we're gonna go to every time we visit Milwaukee. It was also kid friendly and the staff was extremely nice and attentive. Anyone who gives less than 5 stars is just really picky cause there was nothing about the place that was less than perfect 😊
Jennifer Collado
we went here for a dinner because it was one of my favorite restaurant. i took my husband here because it was his first time and i wanted him to try their food. the food are always fresh and good, but i did not like their fresh spring rolls. it was too plain, they use a big noodles and lettuce thats it. a little bit pricey too but overall it was good.
Sarah G
This place is delicious!!! We have always done take out. The restaurant is smaller, which is fine by me, just make sure to make reservations! Everything we have tried is wonderful and LARGE portions of food. It is higher priced but I will gladly pay for it. Not only are the portion sizes large, but the food tastes delicious and have such wonderful flavors. The combination of flavorings on several dishes is so good. Our favorites are the spicy wontons, OMG amazing! The egg beef noodle dish, and we love all the dumplings and the potstickers. We drive 50 minutes just to enjoy the food. Highly recommend. The owners are so sweet and nice, and they know how to make some mean dishes. LOVE THIS PLACE.
Dave McGraw
Loved it here! The food was excellent with legit traditional cuisine. Especially pleased with the real Sichuan peppercorns, the chicken, the soup dumplings and everything else we had. Will definitely be going back!
Emily Miller
Great food and great service! The soup dumplings are by far the best! The Cheese momo is so crispy and flavorful! The orange crispy beef was to die for! Thank you! Will come back again to try more on the menu!
Krista Boyer
I'm in town for work and I love using Eater to find great places to eat, and yet again, I've found an amazing restaurant. The food was spectacular and the service from Adalia was probably the best I've ever had. I ordered the Szechuan clay pot and the Mo Fashioned and both were great. But really, I can't express how great the service was. She was very attentive to my food sensitivities and truly wanted us to have a good experience.
Isia Deno
The soup dumplings are divine and the garlic edamame kept me coming back. The pork belly steamed buns were delicious as well. You have to stop in for authentic cuisine. You will not regret it.
Jill Lackore
Sooo, I have never been asked to leave a restaurant. My friends from Chicago and I from appleton each drove two hours there and two hours home to be asked to leave as soon as I took my last bite. Out of all the restaurants in Milwaukee, we choose Momo to meet at, to be asked to leave before we even finished our drinks. We paid over $120 for food and drinks and didn't get to enjoy a few min after our meal to make conversation. I understand other reservations, but they shouldn't be offering reservations that close together. We probably would have been done 5 min after the waitress told us we needed to leave. She was polite about it, but I was appalled. The whole evening was wonderful and I'm sad it ended on a bad note. The food was amazing, but the point in going there was to eat and have time for good conversation with friends. If I knew we would get kicked out, I would have spent money elsewhere where we could chat for a few more min.
I'm in the area quite often and will come back to eat, however I think they need to make a change in structure regarding reservations or move to a bigger place.
Tasha Eskridge
My BFF and I tried the spot out on a whim. It was a GREAT choice! The food was excellent! Received really good recommendation for dinner and beer from our server (Thanks, Reese!) Will definitely return her again.
Ryan Novak
Really amazing spot. Not what you would expect in a strip mall type location. Soup dumplings are awesome. You can't go wrong with any of the Ramen. Clay pots also highly recommended. Honestly would say one of the top 3 places in Milwakee for Pan-Asian.
Alessandra
The food here is perfect! My favorite dish is the Tofu Chow Fun and the Yakisoba. The manager Tony is splendid and attentive to the customers, I eat here a minimum of 4 times a week.
Brian Brinkley
Appetizers: Pork Belly Gua Bao & Cheese Momo
Entrees: Xiao Long Bao, Tonkotsu Ramen, Beef Yakisoba
Desserts: Caramelized banana lumpia with ice cream & Fried mantou with cinnamon condensed milk
Verdicts...
Service: Prompt, courteous and extra helpful for a new customer!
Ambiance: Casual and modern
Food quality: Excellent, made from scratch along with original specialties!
Salley Lee
Momo Mee has some of the best dumplings I've ever had! Chef Tony Ho is truly an artist when it comes to his cuisine. The Xiao Long Bao are the most authentic ones I've had in so long!! I'm so happy to have found a go to place for dumplings!!
Jennifer Temke
Go there for the Momo Mee Famous Xiao Long Bao. They are so good and only available for dine-in. We also tried the Tonkatsudon, I don't recommend that, it was just a little flat, not very adventurous, and the Szechuan Dan Dan noodles, those were ok. There are a lot of other things on the menu that sound great that I'd like to try, but those dumplings, it's worth the trip just for those.
Service was great. Very friendly.
Christine Sierzputowski
We had a wonderful time at Momomee! The food was wonderful. We got the soup dumplings, garlic edamame, Korean spicy noodles with pork, yakisoba with pork, and banana lumpia. Our server was Michael, who we could not recommend enough! He was very helpful, accommodating, and attentive. He also paid much attention to my food allergies, so I felt very safe in what I was eating. We highly recommend Momomee and can’t wait to go again.
Rui Pacheco
The food is delicious and the staff is super nice. I highly recommend the place if you love asian food.
Jeff Meyer
Tasty pan-Asian fare! Reservations recommended. I’m usually afraid of menus that have too wide of a geography represented, so I was worried when I saw Cantonese, Korean, Szechuan, Vietnamese and more all on one menu. But fear not - this place has its act together. Plus - Xiao long bao (soup filled dumplings) are hard to find, and theirs are delicious. The food was so good I didn’t mind having to eat at the bar. However - recommend making reservations! They had to turn folks away due to bookings and a wait list; we got lucky as walk-ins!
Kristin Shuler
First time at MomoMee. If we were local, this would be a frequent stop! Wonderful food and service. We ordered the spicy dumplings and a claypot. Both were amazing. Prices were very reasonable.
Mark Rasmussen
Flavorful, wonderful. Easily the best dumplings and wontons and most other dishes. The only thing i like better somewhere else is their bun, but theirs is delicious still.
Jeffrey Svarverud
Out standing little restaurant. Make a reservation Friday or Saturday. The food is excellent!!!! We had the clay pot szechuan Mila with beef and the orange beef. Both excellent. Service is outstanding.

We went on a Monday closer to lunch time with our twin girls age 3 (it was their birthday and our first time going due to my husband whose heard great things from coworkers). When you first enter you’ll get the small bar and the hostess (layout is like a L shape turned left via 90 degrees). They definitely don’t have a large amount of tables maybe just about 20 tables or less. Two unisex gender bathrooms located in the back of the tables. We were seated right away with the server (they only had 1 server and 1 bar attendent that we could see obviously it being a Monday). Server was very nice and helpful asking us if we’ve been there before or not and was knowledgable of what to recommend there thus is which we ended up ordering. If it’s your birthday you get a free dessert hence it was our twin girls so they each get a dessert which they loved.
1. Tonkostu $14 - more of Japanese style ramen with the clear/gray broth. The pork belly was cooked to perfection which just melts in your mouth but wasn't a fan of the broth. It had a strong taste of seaweed in the broth (there was a piece of seaweed on the bottom of the bowl) that we didn't see until later. Overall 2/5
2. Taiwanese Guo Bao (pork belly) $10 - the white bun is so soft and has a nice sweetness to it but not overly sweet. The star of the show was the pork belly with the sauce was DELICIOUS, tender, and soft highly recommend to start with this appetizer. Overall 5/5
3. Xiao Long Bao $13 - they are definitely hot and please be careful when you bite into it, the hot broth does squirt out (hence the warning from our server who recommended ways to eat it). The broth wasn't as strong as I had hoped for it to be it was more of a clear broth with a hint of the meat (tastes like meat boiled in water with salt). The bun itself was soft and chewy to my liking but the meat that was stuffed was plain and shaped like a small circle of the dumpling. Overall 3/5
4. Yakisoba (chicken) $14 - was recommended for the kids and myself. This stole the show for me with its sunny side egg, flavor, and veggies. My girls actually ate the noodles which was very shocking to us as they're picky eaters on flavor (there's no spice in this dish). Overall 5/5
5. Carmalized banana lumpia with rice $7 - Not sure if they made their own ice cream but the ice cream drizzled with caramel was the best! The banana lumpia were made with egg roll/spring roll wrappers stuffed with bananas and it was delicious with it being light, crispy, and flaky. I would compare this dessert to crepe texture. Overall 4/5
6. Fried Mantou with condensed milk $7 - Soft Chinese donuts made fresh! The cinnamon and white sugar was a nice change from the usual white sugar donuts at china buffets. We didn't dunk them in the condensed milk as we knew we weren't a fan of it (we like to do bread with condensed milk instead). Overall 4/5
Overall we were satisfied with the service especially with us being the only ones with kids and food.
Robert Snow
Two things that you see in every good restaurant. Passion for their customers and great food.
We experienced that at Momo Mee tonite. We had numerous super apps and entrees... but even better was the wonderful hospitality of Chef Ho and his wife, Kim. The serve team was also very good. TY Brandon.
The soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao) was a real treat. All the sauces were very good. But the highlight was the Tonkotsu Ramen.
Thanks for the wonderful effort.
Adalia
Stopped by for lunch by myself sat at the bar ordered Tonkatsu Ramen, Spicy Wontons and Japchae w/ chicken to go. My favorite noodle is the japchae so flavorful! I had a great time with plenty for leftovers. Absolutely will stop back again next time for the cocktails!

The sole place you can slurp on soup dumplings (xiao long bao) in Milwaukee!

As first time eating here, I was skeptical how authentic or tasteful the xiao long bao would be compared to the ones I had back in NY. But I was satisfied how good it was and they served it correctly with ginger+soy sauce! I will definitely come back for xiao long bao cravings.
• Szechuan Spicy Wontons
I enjoyed the sauce from this dish and i even dipped some xiao long baos in this dish’s sauce *oops*
•Jjamppong
Not the authentic Korean style jjamppong, wish the broth had more flavor from seafood/pork. It was still tasty with good amount of seafood and ok soup!
•Szechuan Beef Noodle Soup
Generous amount of beef that is well cooked! I personally enjoy the spice of Szechuan peppercorn (not really spicy hot but almost numbing sensation in your mouth) so I really liked this beef noodle soup!
++Friendly staffs (the servers even explained how to eat xiao long bao) and safe environment with the covid-19 precautions throughout the restaurant!
Will definitely go back to try other dishes and more xiao long bao!
R R
I had the Korean egg noodles and chicken Bao. I wish the noodles was little spicy, felt bland.
M Cornell
Lunch with family between Christmas and New Year's. Happy vibe in this restaurant! *Very* busy but service was great and food is out-of-this-world delicious. Can't wait to come back!
Wilson Yang
We got seated right away at the bar and had a great time. Our waitress was courteous and attentive to our needs. This is my 4th time here and would recommend to anyone especially the soup dumplings.
Christopher Okazaki
Super good, authentic flavours, friendly staff! Living in Hong Kong, I crave home cooking when traveling. Found Momo Mee and am so excited to return to MKE.
Owner from Hong Kong and spent many years in Japan. Chef from Hong Kong. The real deal !
Ordered 4 dishes - everything was excellent
If I was in HK, I’d have to go to 3 regional restaurants to get this variety - Cantonese, Shanghai or Taiwan and Sichuan !
I also like Fortune in 108/west Allis.
Stephanie Fox
First time visiting, came based off reviews.
Recommend making reservations and expect the service to be a tad slow. The food is excellent though. Those dumplings are a 10.
I certainly hope to return!
The Borg Cooking Show
The sezchuan dumplings and Tom yum soup are both fantastic
Nickolas Lee
Such a gem of a restaurant! Everything on the menu felt special and unique. All of the dishes served were fantastic. The service was amazing also. Highly recommend, go here tonight!
Reyna Lopez
All the food I’ve tried (Korean spicy beef noodles, dumplings, spicy wontons, crispy orange beef) was 10/10 delicious and Tony the owner is attentive and courteous to everyone. I highly recommend if you’re looking for Asian cuisine!:)
Kristian Book
was really excited to try this place but was a little disappointed. the vibe is cozy and service good. veggie and chicken dumplings were pretty boring and the tofu bao was also a little bland. schezuan Mala clay pot was really good, though!
Neil Oliver
Outstanding food and service! The soup dumplings were amazing! So happy to be able to get them in Milwaukee and not have to travel to either coast.
Eric L
This place is known for its Pan Asian dumplings and noodles. Personal favorites include MaPo Tofu, Dan Dan Noodles, and any of the dumplings. We especially like the spicy won tons. They also have Ramen, Cantonese Clay Pots, and various rice dishes. We usually get an order of dumplings to share among two people and then each order a noodle or rice dish. Indoor and patio seating, available, and they do good takeout as well. Highly recommended.
Breanna Hults
The food is so authentic and delicious. They put pride into their ingredients and specials. It is a small location and the service was slower than average as it was so busy.
David G
Momo Mee was as good as I expected. Excellent noodle dishes, buns, and dumplings! I highly recommend the pork belly buns and yakisoba (not pictured, I ate it) The Spicy Szechuan dumplings were good, and not overwhelming spicy. I’m looking forward to coming back for the ramen.
Shanti Sharma
It was ok ok. Dumplings were good. Elephant ear mushrooms ruined the taste. Tried it for the first time and my whole taste buds got numb. It has such a strong flavour (bad). Service was good and staffs were very nice. :)
Steven Snedeker
Xiao long bao were as good as those we enjoyed in Shanghai. Yakisoba and seafood claypot were also great. I am normally not a fan of fish balls, but the ones in the claypot were very good.
Billie Hawkins
Wow, the food was SO good. The staff was nice, they kept water filled and checked on us just enough to enjoy our meal without interruption. Highly recommend the Bao
Jonathan Paul
Loved the authentic Taiwanese and Cantonese cuisine options. They nailed the XiaoLongBao, GuaBao, and crispy noodles. Make sure to get a reservation.
Nell KT
I enjoyed the dumplings more than the actual entree. Good first time there though. Service was good and the other dishes I tried from my sister’s plate was really good. I don’t really remember but I recommend getting the Korean spicy noodles.
Elizabeth Munroe
Momo Mee is a very special restaurant. The ambiance is wonderful and the food is absolutely phenomenal. The owner Tony puts his heart into every detail of the restaurant and the environment is positive and friendly. Once you experience Momo Mee, you can easily understand how they are so busy everyday!! They set themselves apart from any other Asian restaurant. I've been a loyal customer since before the pandemic. Now I can bring my friends in and they can also experience the authentic food and amazing treatment I get at Momo Mee!!
Adrian Obleton
Visiting from out of town and came here with a few friends. Had the soup dumplings and Spicy Wontons
Service and food were both really good
Tha Yang
I absolutely love this place! I'm from the north side of Milwaukee but I will drive 30-45 minutes just to get their homemade potstickers, ramen, or their braised pork bowl. At one point, I was coming once or twice a week to the point where the chef knew me! This place is a bit on the smaller side and can get packed so I do recommend making reservations if you're dining in for dinner. The food is definitely well worth it and hyped up!
Samuel Mayer Check
My favorite lunch spot in Milwaukee. The beef chow fun is the best I've had. Fresh noodles and quality ingredients. The owner Tony is passionate about his food and it shows!
Nick Rutkowski
Absolutely amazing food. Great service. Our waiter was Michael. Excellent at his job. Very apologetic about the service as it was busy, I wish people were more patient and he didn't have to feel that way. Despite it being packed busy the service was better than most places even when they're slow. The food was out of this world. You need the xiao long bao, you need the bao pork belly, you need the ramen.
This place will destroy my finances. Im addicted
Dan Lentsch
Best dumplings in Milwaukee! Overall outstanding food and great service. Szechuan is amazing and numbs your mouth which is an interesting experience. Highly recommend trying it!
Kelly
Fantastic visit to MM....incredible customer service, spot on recommendations and well balanced and incredible entrees. Thank you Momo Mee for a fantastic experience
s pags
Only tried the jajangmyeon. Definitely want to come back for the soup dumplings. Wasn’t the most flavorful dish, but was tasty, for sure.
UPDATE: most things are great. The xiao long bao we get every time. However, the tonkotsu ramen was one of the most disappointing I’ve ever had. Flavorless broth, and no sodium.
Pakou Lo
Absolutely great service, Thanks Crispin! The food was delicious and everything I had, I'd order again! Will be back!
Tammy Schwartz
I would give this place a 10 star rating. My husband and I went here recently and we cannot say enough good things. Everything, and I mean everything was amazing. We tried a few cocktails and all were great. We had the Xiao Long Bao, Pork Bell Gua Bao and Szechaun Spicy Wontons. All exceptional. Entrees consisted of Nature Delight w/chicken, Crispy Orange Beef and Cantonese Stir Fried Egg noodles with chicken. Everyone was so kind and attentive. This place is a must go. Only problem is I live 4 hours away!!!! I took photos of my food, but it looks exactly like the photos online.
Aracely Lopez
Excellent service, clean establishment, and best of all DELICIOUS asian cuisine! Will definitely be back often.
Jason Aldred
Everything I tasted was amazing. Starting with the fresh spring rolls, then the wings. It really got started with the Xiao Long Bao! Followed by the Jjampong, perfectly spicy and smooth. Don't overlook the MO Fashioned!
Devon Jackson
Great food! My favorite is the Beijing beef! I recommend it! The restaurant is very busy, but accommodating! Nice place for a date!
Andrea Saenim
Delicious and generous portions! The ramen picture is half of one order. It’s that generous! Order the Xiao soup bao! You won’t regret it!
NEON DAS
The soup dumplings were good, so was the ramen. Limited veg options though.
Brooklyn
Good food. Good service. Wish they gave more space between tables. Very cramped dining area with seating extremely close to others.
Chandler
The food is always amazingly good, but the hostess with the silver hair really made my night a few weeks ago! So great food and great staff!
Jessy Sandhu
Amazing food! And very friendly staff. Overall it’s a pleasure to eat here every time. If you want authentic Bao, Momos, Ramen, Noodles.. this is your place!
Ben Wang
The food was delicious and the customer service was excellent! I highly recommend getting the stir fried udon noodles with beef!
Arlenne .Escamilla
Lovely place, the food was great, and the place was nice and comfy, we did not have a reservation and still sat us down, lovely, 100% recommended!
Antonio Sanchez
I've been here three times. Every time the food has been amazing. Make sure to either have a reservation or show up when they don't have a huge crowd, because this place is very popular now and with their limited space, you can be waiting quite a bit.
I def recommend it. Glad to live so close by.
Ryan Blaire
Truly perfect. Every single dish we tried (and we tried A LOT) tasted amazing, was presented beautifully, and exceeded our expectations in every area. Dumplings, noodles, wontons, beef, everything! Our waitress was very kind, and the owners/management were so A+++ friendly and attentive and welcoming. Not a single remote complaint, cannot say enough incredible things top to bottom between the food and service.
Cue Tical
Food was basic, and the server was high on Adderall probably
He abandoned us for a while and then the food was boring
Dumplings were decent
Becky Heck
Absolutely LOVE the food. Super friendly service too! Will definitely be back soon ☺️
Jon Martin
Located in an upcoming part of town with good food and good service. They have a large selection of drinks. Their soup dumplings are amazing and their ramen was some of the best I've had in Wisconsin. I gave a 4 star instead of a 5 star because they were out of a lot of stuff I asked for. Then when I found a drink I wanted that they had, I had to wait 20 minutes to get it because the drink wasn't cold. I also highly recommend getting reservations for this place. We went in around 5 PM and even though half their tables were empty they acted like they didn't have availability but found an opening for us. Overall, I would gladly go back, they deservedly earned their awards.
Anatoliy Lemberskiy
The food is exceptional, the dumplings are out of this world! I don't know what is the deal with the music in the bar area though - kind of ruin the whole experience.
Myles Johnson
Where to start? Momo Mee was one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. Starting with the amazing staff, they were super helpful from the beginning, asking if we're familiar with the style of cuisine and directing us through the menu. The food was unparalleled to any other Asian cuisine establishment I've had in MKE and the soup dumplings are a must have. No matter what you get and no matter who you get as a server, you're going to have an awesome time and eat some of the best food you have ever had. Wish I took pics but tbh, I ate first - it's that good. Would highly recommend making a reservation prior to visit.
Ashley M
Love the black pepper shrimp and chicken fried rice. I like getting it to go. Tight seating inside.
Ashley Pociask
So good. Unassuming and casual, but the food is well made and serious attention paid to detail. Will be back!
Jason Lau
I had a great time dining in here with my girlfriend! The waiter and staff were wearing masks and were COVID conscious. The famous xiao long bao (soup dumplings) were out of this world!! Truly one of the best we’ve ever had. Recommend 110%!!! We would also recommend the Cantonese crunchy pan fried noodles (chow mein). The owner who hand made the dumplings even came out to talk to us and we had a friendly chat. It was an experience my girlfriend and I will not forget. :) we will definitely return later to try out the other dishes.
Jonathan Espiritu
Really good Asian noodles place with a variety of Asian cuisines. Pretty popular so make a reservation if you can
Janet F
We've done take out several times from here
This was maybe out 3rd time dining there. T had a Mo Fashioned, which was pretty strong. They included a glass of ice to cool it or dilute.
I had an iced tea. They didn't have a delivery of their b herbal tea from a local company.
Our server went above and beyond. She recommended a noodle dish because of
f the type of noodle but the veggies in it were not very interesting. She offered to have the dish made with added d Shiitake mushrooms, pac choy, red pepper, and broccoli. And chicken. The chicken was perfect. The mushrooms were generous. The vegetables made it colorful and it was a mountain of food. I didn't see if they added a fee for all the extra veggies but it was worth it. I'd like a touch of garlic added if I order it again. And the take home container had almost as much food as I ate! Lunch tomorrow. Well done Mo Mo Mee.
Laura Cisler
Best bao buns and soup dumplings!!!!! We go almost weekly it's so good!
Banana Peelz
Omgosh!!! Kept hearing about this place and I finally tried it and wow, I was impressed. Their cheese momo(crab wantons) were BOMB and also their soup dumplings!! Will definitely be coming back!
Tabitha Andrews
During my first visit, we received nothing but kindness from our server. He taught my mother how to use chopsticks which overall made the experience 100% better. We always come bavk because not only is the food here delicious, the hospitality is phenomenal.
Alyx
Don't get me wrong, the food was really good. (I was also starving at this point so that may be biased) and the staff were extremely nice,
But this place should really advertise themselves as a reserve only restaurant.
My family (there were 4 of us) got there not knowing we should have reserved, and we were told we could be seated 10-15 minutes. That was fair, there was a couple a head of us and the place was busy overall so it wasn't a big deal to wait 10-15 maybe even 20 or 30 minutes. Especially when we were assured we were next, only to then be jumped by people who had reservations.
I suspect they reserved while we were waiting since "we were next" and "they were setting up a table for us."
It was an hour until we got seated.
Then another 10 minutes to get water and another 10 to get our orders. Utensils were forgotten and the service was overall slow. Again it was busy so it's understandable. But we wouldn't have waited so long if we weren't assured that we were going to be taken care of sooner.
On top of that, we paid full price. Not a big deal, But the meal took over all 2 hours of our day, the majority of it was just waiting so a little compensation would have been nice. I doubt anyone else waited that long.
Moral of the story: reserve a spot to get attended faster.
Elizabeth Youngblut
Tonight I took my mother for dinner, and it was phenomenal. We had a reservation so there was no wait (and reservations were extremely easy on their website) and we were seated immediately. Our server was very pleasant, and although the place was busy, our wait for service was minimal. We ordered the pork belly gua bao which was perfectly seasoned, the xiao long bao which were amazing, and the shao mai. I think the winner of the evening was the xiao long bao. The broth was very flavorful and earthy and just fun to eat. I would absolutely recommend this place, and I cannot wait to try more.
Vicki Crum
The XLB were amazing! Michael, our bartender, gave us great service.
Just Call Tom LLC
This was my first time there. Amazing service, followed social distancing and took temperature of all patrons. Server offered suggestions and explained the menu. The food was great.
Ms.Z
Food is delicious. But Wish they can get down the recipes on the drinks. I loved the mofashion the first time I had it. Every other time I have had it since then has been completely different.
Nicole
Everything ordered was amazing. Owner was super friendly and very welcoming. I will definitely go back and enjoy another wonderful experience.
Lew Cheng Yu
Have to try their Xiao long Bao! They are as authentic as the ones in Malaysia Chinese restaurants. All the noodles dishes were so good and portions are big so it is by far the best restaurant I've been to Milwaukee.
Adam Lim
Food is decent, service is average.
Ali Diaz
Good vibes, friendly staff and delicious food.
Jesus Toto
Best asian cuisine in Milwaukee. The food is delicious, and the service was exceptional. Also the food has a resonable price, considering its in downtown Milwaukee.
Nick Saidai
Set a reservation, was seated right away in a packed restaurant. Michael the server was the best server I’ve encountered in recent memory. You could tell he understood the menu and what made the food unique over other restaurants. Cocktails were great, food was great and the service was great. Very satisfied.
Tricia Mann
Amazing food!! Lots of vegetarian options. Best yakisoba I have had since living in Japan. Loved the sparkling sake!! Service was great and the owner came out to help us. Very busy for Friday at dinner! Make a reservation!!
Angelina Zembruski
The potstickers are to die for. I highly recommend the dumplings too. Yum!
Joseph Archie
Momo Mee! Momo My! A delightful dining experience with a hearthy environment, welcoming service, and a menu with the perfect blend of comforting and authentic.
Albert Schaubel
Various Asian dishes. AWESOME! I love Thai (Eesans), Japanese (Kyotos), Chinese (Emperor of China) to mention a few Oriental foods and restaurants I enjoy. BUT this place is over the top! I and my wife with 2 granddaughters went for lunch and had a fabulous meal & time. Appetizers, Entrees, and Desserts were indescribable... Seriously! I had the pleasure of sampling dishes with Chicken, Beef and Pork and the meats were so tender it was like flavor without substance! A purple Rice & Coconut dessert I've never seen before! You have to try it to understand how good it is. The server was very friendly and attentive to our needs. It is expensive but definitely worth the experience.
Arjun Pai P
Went there for lunch with family. Nice place, good food. Very friendly staff and good service. Momo Mee fried rice is a must try👌🏻 …
Nick Petersson
Great place! Some of the best Ramen in MKE.
Mary S
I had high hopes for this place and it exceeded my expectations. The soup dumplings (Momo Mee Famous Xiao Long Bao ) were the first thing we tried. They were tender and flavorful. The favorites were the Szechuan Spicy Wontons* and the Cantonese CRISPY Pan-Fried Noodles. Everything was truly delicious. Buns. Noodles. Soup. Dumplings. The owner stopped by our table to see how we liked our food which was a nice touch. I am so happy we have this gem of a place in Milwaukee. The service was excellent as well. Momo Mee is doing everything right!
Kayla
Had dinner here 6pm on a Sunday and it was packed! I would suggest making a reservation on the weekends. The soup dumplings are fantastic! Our server was great and very attentive and happy to explain and suggest menu items to my boyfriend and I. We will definitely be back soon
Malia Lor
A bit pricey but it was worth it to me. I’m always craving dumplings and the dumplings here always hit the spot! The pan fried pot stickers are filled up and super tasty. Our waitress, Kiersten, was amazing and checked up on us often. She made sure we were well taken care of, was quick, professional, and just really friendly! She definitely made dining here a great experience.
Gary McChest
Fantastic soup dumplings, staff worked like a well oiled machine. Enjoyed the clay pot beef and kimchi. Service from Lexi was spectacular. Can't wait to return.
ADAM PERELLA
Just incredible food. Soup dumplings are a must.
Eaten at Momo Mee's multiple times and it does not disappoint. From service to food, one of the best places in Milwaukee
Michael Zaragoza
Just ate there tonight the food was awesome the service was awesome I will be going back! We had a great time
Jessica Jaimes
Best food I’ve had in a long time ! Definitely try the pork dumplings!
Jessica Paris
Service is not so great, food is okay. There were people walking around literally doing nothing but talking to eachother about the music was playign while we were waiting for somebody to take our order at the posium. They kept walking around standing right in front of us ignoring us. Seemed like they were annoyed with our existence whenever they did talk to us. We went in and the lady at the front gave us our menu and took almost 40 minutes to come back and ask if somebody took our order yet. We placed our order with somebody else and got our food within 15 minutes. Which is honestly great timing but for the quality of the food I'm not surprised. It seemed like they just had the ramen ingredients all together on a to go plate in the fridge because everything was stuck together and cold and the noodles were super cold and dry as well as the egg. The broth was super hot though so that's good. 100% not worth it. I'm not going back even if the staff were changed out. The food just didn't taste that great enough for how expensive it was. The place looked really nice though.
Andy Saputo
The wait for a table was quite long but at the end it was well worth it. Food was great and staff was friendly and attentive.
Emily Nowak
Friendly service but the Tonkatsu ramen was so-so and the Sichuan chicken gua bao were not at all spicy.
Doris Fonseca
Amazing! Get all of the dim sum items.
Make sure to make a reservation they are always packed and I totally understand why.
Get the lumpia dessert! Accommodating owner and a very attentive bartender when at the bar.
Andrew Kull
Really like this place. Some items are awesome, Some are so-so. Soup dumplings are the best. Pork buns (not 5 spice) are really good. Pork Ramen and crispy chicken in picture background are good too. I will get the actual names tomorrow.
Sky Zink
Super delicious food and very kind staff! I recommend the Udon, the Xiao Long Bao, and the Seafood and Tofu Claypot. These are also great options if you have severe allergies to milk, eggs, peanuts, and tree nuts like I do. Thank you to our waitress Rachel for asking about the ingredients for me!
Al Cimperman
My wife and I just returned recently from being in Montana with our daughters and grandchildren for the last four months. We decided to do take out food tonight and were surprised and delighted to see that Momo Mee had survived the pandemic and was still in business. We had crispy spring rolls and pan fried pot stickers for appetizers and main courses of shrimp Japchae and Beef Korean Spicy Noodles. All were delicious with wonderful flavors not found in the usual Chinese/Korean dishes. You could tell that the noodles and dumplings were homemade as well as the addition of spices custom made for the dishes. Wonderful to have these tastes of ethnic Milwaukee back in our mouths again and our compliments and appreciation to the couple who own and run this business despite these trying times. For those who have not tried this establishment, give it a try you won't be disappointed!!
Meghan K
I ordered the chicken dumplings and Korean spicy beef buns for carry out - it was delicious!!! The texture of the bun was so good, and beef was the right amount of spicy for me. Dumplings were tasty. I would order the exact same again. Although I only interacted with staff on the phone to pick up my order at the door, they were extremely friendly. I will be back!
Maricella Rodriguez
I was in town visiting family over the weekend and decided to have a last minute dinner with some friends at Momo Mee. Our waitress Alyssa was amazing start to finish, she gave us all the time we needed to catch up while still being attentive to us. There was a bit of a wait for food once we finally got our order in, but she kept us updated on our order and everything came out perfect. I will definitely come back in the future when I can, great food and service!!
Judith Hooks
Good food but service is a little slow -turns out our waiter was also the bartender . Would return. My favorite was the spring rolls.
Elise Hallock
The spicy pork wontons were a sleeper hit and second only to the xlb. The soup dumplings are dine in only. They were amazing. Apparently dinner is regularly full up with reservations, but walk in able for weekday lunch.
The owner took the time to chat with us. A couple of ladies in the kitchen make the xlb dough by hand four times a day. 40,000 pieces a month according to the owner. A perfect meal for a blustery day in the city.
Sayy Yess
Don't get the ramen it tastes like water but everything else was really good!
Dmitry Zinger
I went in for lunch with a friend. The service was very good and courteous. They also have a rather extensive menu with multiple interesting authentic options. The drinks were excellent too.
Summer Wagner
I took my family for an early Mother’s Day seeing I won’t see her Sunday and everyone loved there food but my sister and I we ended up getting the same thing and neither of us like anything fishy. Well I hate to send things back but we just couldn’t eat it. She did all the right things asked us about what was wrong and also told us they use some oyster stuff in the broth. Also said the owner just came in and she would see what she can do. The owner came and spoke to us and told us there was nothing fishy in it and we had a little disagreement back and fourth finally said we didn’t want anything else but the check. We both only had a couple of bites and nothing more but she never took them off. I am a little dissatisfied because I would have come back to try something else but because the way this was handled I don’t think we will ever be back.
Jaylyn Knuckles
The food and atmosphere was good. Was a bit crowded but will definitely return hopefully for dinner rather than lunch so we can sit outside.
Toni Au
Food is great and Tony is so kind! I hope in the future they can accept events, will definitely make a trip here every time I'm in Milwaukee. Recommend the Cantonese Beef Chow Fun!
Thailing Aguilera
My new favorite restaurant! I’ve been meaning to go after driving by it everyday and I finally took the chance. I don’t regret it not one bit, the food was outstanding and the service was even better! It was busy and everything still came out at a timely manner. The dumplings are definitely the best on the menu and will be telling my friends/family about this gem. Can’t wait to go again!
Joelle Steffen Bonifacio
We went for a quick lunch, and what a treat! The star was the Korean Spicy Noodles. I'd get that again in a heartbeat. The spicy wonton weren't that spicy and very delicious. The miso Ramen was ok, and a generous amount, but not as addictive as the other items.
Doug uke
as always the food was excellent, and I could probably live off of the Xiao long bao alone.
we literally order 4 orders for four people, (dont judge) sooo good. They were completely packed when we arrived and clearly working hard to keep everything moving smoothly, but everyone was still very gracious and attentive. our server michael(sp) was great and really fun. while the angle of his table aproach may have been a bit suspect, he more than made up for it with his self depreciating sense of humor. if 6 stars were an option, they would get it. great job as usual momomee!
Chris Fellure
Delicious food and drinks!
Jason Shuler
A very nice restaurant. I want to go back and try more of the menu!
Jenn Gonzalez
The food here was better than the food in Chinatown NYC. Flavor was amazing and the bar staff tonight were great! New favorite spot when we come back to visit. Come eat here. You will not regret it. Delicious 10 STARS!!!!
Reece Wagner
Best dumplings in Milwaukee! The server was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and we can’t wait to be back!!!
Bumble
The soup dumplings are highly overrated. Hardly any soup inside and the flavor was to be desired. Ramen was mediocre. Tom Yum Soup however was PHENOMENAL. Same for the Bao buns. Those two things will keep me coming back.
Michael Shank
Fantastic! I always see these foods in Asian movies and games and have been dying to try them, and it far surpassed my expectations! Our family ordered almost a quarter of the items on their menu and shared and it was all delicious!
Han Kim
Great place, delicious food, and very friendly staff! Highly recommended.
Bluee Stev
First time..and it's was amazing ‼️‼️ loved the soup dumplings just perfect ..the crispy orange beef, beautiful. And the beef fun chow , amazing. I was very impressed, love love love .. I will be back
John Holland
We found this place on "Milwaukee's best eats". The overall experience was phenomenal! The staff and hosts provided a magnificent level of attention and spacing (we felt attended and not helicoptered), food was superb (I suggest starting with the momo's first, and let your appetite decide what next). The owner was attentive and welcoming, I have only great things to say. I will be back.
Drew Sword
Some of the best dumplings I have had in a long time.
Andrea W
Excellent food! Some of the best I’ve had in awhile. We went on a cold, rainy day and the dumplings were perfect. Cocktails were delicious and we certainly got our money’s worth. Great service as well. I plan to go back regularly.
Ashley Butts
Xiao long bao, pan fried potstickers, crispy orange beef, szechuan noodles with chicken. All fantastic!
David C
Came here on a whim returning home from a day trip to WI. The food was really great and the manager and staff were super nice. We had the dumplings and Cantonese beef bowl and both were excellent! They had a nice and spaced outdoor eating area, which was perfect for the times and watching the sun come down over the city. So glad we were able to try this restaurant out!
Hepheastus Vulcan
Food was excellent! Kimchi Beef BAO was especially good.
Naomi Z
This is my favorite restaurant and everyone I recommend it to it becomes their favorite as well! Incredible food and lovely service! I’ve been eating here for over 2 years and it’s always perfect. The Xiaolongbao is to die for and I like trying new entrees every time I go. My go to dish is the braised pork rice bowl. The couple who own MoMo Mee are amazing, I love them and hope they continue to do well!
Alexander Drazovic
BEST ASIAN FOOD in Walker’s Point! I got the spicy wings, spicy dumplings, spring roll, Korean beef and Pork Belly open-faced sandwiches, and it was all great! I can tell when the owner is in kitchen and has lots of experience. I don’t know what the “bread” is on the open-faced sandwiches but I enjoyed it very much so; like a British crumpet meets a raw pillsbury tube dough slice (in a good way). I will be eating hundreds in the following years. The dumplings were eaten very quickly, I should of ordered two portions. Wings had a spicy dry rub with a good kick, crispy, good flavor without any sauce, and fresh.
Please launch sushi menu, and maybe picture menu. I went later in the evening, it was moderately busy, and had no problem with staff or food timing. Waitress was helpful, recommended the open-faced sandwiches, which I never order, calling them Asian tacos. Brought me sauces even though I didn’t ask. Gave her 50% tip because of how pleased I was with the entire experience. Didn’t try any of the drinks.
Ryan Metzler
Soup dumplings are amazing, szechuan dumplings are too! We had some crispy fried noodles with shrimp that were also incredible. Service was maybe a LITTLE on the slow side, but we were in no rush and quality makes up for it. We had a third dumpling with pork and shrimp that was good, not great. Overall outstanding.
Cailin Abanto
Amazing experience. The Xiao Long Bao is so unique and delicious. My favorite restaurant in Milwaukee!!
Jeremy Riese
Amazing place! The food is delicious, and their broth dumplings are sublime. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great place with good service.
Tanya Joosten
Everything was great. Server was amazing. She was so helpful communicating with the staff about my egg allergy even though it was busy for CNY. Food was good! We'll be back.
Emily Prymula
Momo Mee is the best! Great service, delicious food (don’t sleep on the soup dumplings) and really reasonably priced. I’m debating going back again today for lunch.
Edmond Bedjeti
Did take from here.
The Bao was spot on good. My small child really liked them.
Crispy noodles were tasty. Fyi they were packaged in two containers to keep the noodles crispy. Kiddo really liked this one too.
Derek Schneider
I loved every single bite I took here. The Xiao long bao are for the tourists, but I think you can skip them in my opinion. It's just regular jiaoze with extra juice. Loved the Sichuan wontons, but that's just because I wanted the mala flavor from the Sichuan peppercorns. I would go right for the entrees. The beef noodle soup and the mala stone bowl are to die for. I also recommend the pork fried rice because their char shu pork is amazing. I will be going back again and again to try their whole menu. The Dan Dan noodles are amazing as well.

Loved our first meal here. Legitimate authentic momos were delicious (Xiao long bao). A friend recommended the garlic japanese eggplant. It was wonderfully sweet and spicy. I'd recommend the lychee martini too, but the only disappointment of the meal was the lemongrass margarita which was watered down and bland. So happy with everything else and the amazing service that went along with it. Will certainly be returning!

Everytime I go, I try something new. If you don't have a reservation, and bar seating is available. Highly recommended. Staff is super friendly and efficient. The food is always delicious!
Dawn Schaefer
The food here is the best Asian I've ever had. Everything made from scratch daily, even the wonton wrappers and noodles! Definitely try the Schezuan spicy wrappers and Korean kimchi dumplings for appetizers. The Cantonese beef chow fun, with its wide rice noodles, is extraordinary. And don't be put off by the items marked as "spicy". You'll find that the heat complements, rather than overpowers, any dish. Do be sure to make reservations if planning to go Thursday through Sunday, as the owner cautions.
Ira Porter
Great food, a little slow on food, make sure and make a reservation.

I’m taking a break in the middle of my meal here to write this review because this place is phenomenal. The dumplings are amazing and homemade and the service is like no other. Everyone here is so warm and welcoming! The restaurant interior is classy and extremely clean. I can’t believe I’ve never heard of this restaurant before! Do yourself a favor and eat here.
Angela Junaid
I spent 4 years living in Asia and miss the food so much. Finally I found the true taste again when I go to Momo Mee. The atmosphere is elegant, staff is friendly, cleanliness is top notch but above all the flavor is outstanding!!! All of my missed favorites are in the menu here and they all exceeded my expectations. I drive from Racine to treat myself here. Well done.
Erika Johnson
Get the soup dumplings! Best idea to make a reservation in advance
Jan Yong
Decent XLB spot. I always order the mala pot too, servers are so attentive. It can get busy but just have patience.
Val Ulicki
Masks are required when not eating, good social distancing, temp is taken as you enter, VERY happy with their level of responsibility. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was exceptionally good. I really appreciated the waitresses assistance as neither my wife nor I had been there before and we will be back!
Agreeable Dragon
Went there a few weeks ago, nice little place in a new condo building. Staff was nice, service was a little slow but it was pretty busy. For the appetizer we had the pork Shumai. They were very good and tasty and seemed very fresh. My gf had the beef Yakisoba noodles for her dish, very fresh and tasty. We both enjoyed it. I chose the Dan Dan noodles. Sounded very good on the description. But all i got looked like a bowl of spaghetti noodles and cilantro. Waaay too much cilantro, it overpowered everything. There was some meat, it was seasoned excessively and it was waaay at the bottom along with some tiny vegetables. It was spicy which I like, but it was a total downer to an otherwise good experience. My gf didn't care for the Dan Dan either. Prices were a little higher than usual but not too bad. Might go back since they are one of the few Asian places that have dine in now.
Leann Renee
Absolutely delicious! Our first time there was fantastic, we had the soup dumplings and potstickers and they were so worth it. I had the tontaksu Ramen and it was to did for, but everything my friends and I had were just beyond delicious. Definitely recommend!
Milwaukee Avon Sales
Great food but could use more servers. On my recent visit, it was very busy, like almost alarming, especially with COVID restrictions, but there were dividers between tables. After waiting for 15 minutes we had to flag down a server to figure out who are waitress was. Our food came out surprisingly fast, but one of the items was incorrect. Had to wait 20 minutes for it to be corrected and brought back out. Very frustrating.
The food is amazing. So many different dumplings and gua bao buns. Soooo good!
LOLKing156
Very tasty, smaller portions than I would like but I'm a fatty so I can't really blame them. Waitress was super sweet, and kept my credit card safe when I accidentally left it. Will be coming back!
J.r. Pacmic
I love this place the food is so good. However, when I went yesterday to do a pick up order I was sitting for quite a while and then the hostess told me that he gave another guest my food and they were bringing it back. I waited a few minutes and then I said wait a minute you’re gonna make me a new food right? And he said it oh... do you want that? And I was like DUH it’s a pandemic first of all and I don’t know who took my food and if they opened it. So they did make me new food pretty quickly but yeah that was weird. Every other time has been fine and delicious.
Daisy Thao
I love the variety of their authentic food here! The servers are very locked on to their tables, have great customer service and very friendly. Food is made fresh to order and drinks were good as well. You will not be disappointed and I'll definitely be coming back soon!
Nicholas Averill
I’ve been here twice and had two different experiences. The food was really good both times I’ve tried a few different dumplings sticky buns and a ramen. The last time I was here we got seated and no one was assigned to our table to serve us and we didn’t realize it until about 10 mins when all the servers had walked by us and not made eye contact. After I asked someone about it I could see the servers debating who’s fault it was. When the order finally came it was wrong but the server had it fixed after I was getting ready to pay because that’s how long it took to have another order of an appetizer to come out. This day they seemed very overwhelmed by the amount of people that were there. The manager came to apologize for everything so that was nice. The first time I was here it was very slow not a lot of people and the service was fantastic and quick.
Dan Neubauer
I visited Momo Mee with friends from work for lunch.
Overall the experience was very good.
None of us had visited before so our waitress went through the menu and answered questions. She also shared her favorite dishes, which was helpful for us. She was also very attentive to us throughout our visit.
Our food was brought out by who I believe is the owner. Since we had not indulged in this food before, he demonstrated for us how the food should be eaten, which none of us would have figured out on our own. This really helped with our enjoyment of our meals.
The food itself was very good, my food was flavorful and spicy, as expected. Presentation of the food was excellent as well.
I will be bringing my wife back to share this place, so glad we visited!
Scott Cuthbert
The soup dumplings were delicious and umami. The sauce to go with it had a great ginger bite to it which just added to the complexity. The variety of Asian options were almost overwhelming. Makes me want to go back and try some more varieties.
nessie liz
Only good thing was the soup dumplings, the beef chow fun was not good, missing the Smokey ness and flavor the beef was big and chunky very chewy, and the crispy noodles were ok also missing flavor though, on top of that we spent 1hour and 35 minutes here
nordiesworld
We love the soup dumplings and could make a meal out of them. But then we would miss the rest of the menu, which is splendid. Momo Mee is a definite do not miss place.
Corbach Toolis
Xiaolongbao was absolutely delicious, I would go back just for that. Though they are available for dine in only. The noodles on the other hand were trash. Too dry and poor flavor pallet. Worse, I asked for no egg, and they put egg in it. 👎🏻
Ryan Schryver
Waitstaff and bartender were completely overwhelmed. They were out of several beers and wines. Lil Wayne blasting through a lousy TV in the corner. Poorly managed for sure.
underwhelmed with the soup dumplings. schezuan dumplings and entrees were also good but not great. If you’re craving Chinese and dumplings there are several better options (including DanDan) in Milwaukee.
Alison Dodge
Attended the soft opening of the restaurant. It was extremely polished and professional, and you wouldn't have known it was their first night. The wait staff was extremely professional - clearly industry pros. As far as the food, I'll start with the drinks. I had the Hemingway Daquiri. It was excellent. It's hard to find a flavorful rum drink that isn't too sweet; but this was perfect. I had the eggplant for the entree - also delicious. Looking around at my table and the ones nearby, everyone seemed very pleased with their meals. Highly recommend this restaurant for foodies and those that particularly like great Asian cuisine!
W A
The food was great. We ordered dumplings and noodle dishes. Three table ordered 3 different kinds and they were all amazing. The staff seemed overwhelmed and confused. We were brought the wrong food twice and had to ask for drinks at least four times. At one point we gave up because we were finishing our food. I would definitely go back. Hopefully it was an off night.
Mackenzie Boedeker
The food was amazing and so was our waiter. However, we were being pushed out by the other staff. A bus boy tried to clear plates with food still on them several times and the manager also rudely and not so subtlety indicated that she would like us to leave so that they could seat the next table, while we still had $15 martinis that we were drinking!
Deanna Stringer
Update...went back again today for lunch. We go often just don't review every time. We arrived at 1230 ish and they were very busy, which we were so happy to see! The staff was 100% on point. Our server, Michael, was phenomenal. He was witty, a great conversationalist, went along with our table banter,. He was GREAT! We were a party of 4, and ordered 4 orders of Xiao Long Boa. Don't judge. Pretty sure these will be my last meal request someday. We all ordered entrees as well. Of course, spot on! Thank you Momo Mee. Thank you!
I don't know where to begin! I'm going to make this short and sweet because I'm still speechless. Those soup dumplings OMG!!!! Everything was truly incredible. Highly recommend. Cannot wait to go back.
Ryan O
We had soup dumplings which were delicious and warm. We also had ramen, which to my surprise, they gave very hefty portions. This was the first time I had authentic ramen and it was delicious.
The service was amazing throughout the meal, our server never let our glasses go empty.
We will 100% be coming back. Probably one of the best meals I've ever had. I'm definitely trying the pork buns next time.
Alyssa Carter
I cannot rave enough about this place! My husband and I stopped in on a Saturday night for dinner and they accommodated us without a reservation (we didn't know we needed to make one). The food was beyond amazing. We ordered the Taiwanese Gua Bao with pork belly to start and that was mouth watering. The pork was very flavorful and altogether tasty. We then ordered the Xiao long bao at the suggestion of the waiter. It was phenomenal! And did I mention the service!?! The best we have had in a long time! Cruz was our waiter and not did he only make excellent recommendations for food, he was extremely personable, funny and polite! He definitely added to our experience for dinner. This place will be on top of my list for places to eat out.
janina komar
It was yummy in my tummy . Beautiful service .. loved the soup dumplings they were so good !!! Absolutely loved the food just wish my dinner was warm came out cold but it was still yummy . My hubs food was steaming mine was not nor was it hot like his. Maybe next time would definitely reccomend
Liza Lemkuil
Dined in twice and absolutely love their food. Tried three different appetizers and two different entrees, all fabulous. Their vegetables are so fresh, you don't feel bad after like having greasy chinese takeout. Favorite cocktail is hands down the lychee martini.
Nadia Callahan
Can’t thank my friends enough for recommending this place to us, because every dish we tried was phenomenal. We ordered the xiao long bao of course, the Szechuan spicy wontons, orange crispy beef, and Szechuan mala, and I still can’t decide which one was my favorite! The Szechuan peppercorns in their sauce is unlike anything I’ve ever tried and it’s addicting. I’m already excited to go back and try some of their other dishes. A big thank you to the staff for being so friendly as well. All around was a wonderful experience.
Arrcee X
Lunch was delicious. Soup dumplings and Taiwanese Gua Bao with five spice pork were outstanding. Crispy spring rolls were hot and crispy, but the tasty filling was a bit boring. Service was excellent, and the chef/owner came out of the kitchen to greet customers and ask how the food was. Will definitely return. Highly recommend!
Erin Kreul
I love you guys and the food you guys make is unbelievably good. I highly recommend the soup dumplings. I am a regular here and we are always satisfied with your food, but you guys need to actually get a mixologist in your restaurant. I am giving you a four because you need to up your cocktail game. That is the one thing that stands in the way of me coming in more often.
**edit: I changed this place to a 5 star. They have upped their friggin drink game. After moving away and coming back after 8 months, momo mee does not disappoint and is sosososo good!!!!
Brody Knaak
Fantastic steamed buns and great Asian alcohol selection. Seriously tastes even better than dumplings I had in Taiwan
Paige Koroll
Every dish we had amazing. Highly recommending starting with the soup dumplings. The spicy Korean noodles were amazing as well.
Marissa Rzentkowski
We have been here twice now and have left full and happy both times. Everything we try is delicious, especially the soup dumplings. The service is great and we love how the owner greets everyone.
tracie ourada
Steamed and pan-fried vegetable dumplings are great. My daughter is vegan, so she was able to eat those and udon noodles with tofu, which she loved. Friday night at 6 p.m. was busy and there was a wait for food, but not too unreasonable.
Andrew Bychinski
My wife and I wanted to try something new and this was a home run. Started with the spring rolls, they were good but in my opinion the sweet chili sauce was the highlight. I had ramen which basically ruined the 25 cent ramen from the store. I will always be disappointed from now on. My wife got the the soup dumplings that were very tasty. Pro tip they seem to cool down quickly so eat them right away if you want them hot and fresh. Even so they were still good and something we have never had before.
Alisha Louise
This place is delicious. And its so pretty. Environment and food was amazing! Our waitress was so accommodating and genuine and funny. It was such a great experience overall. We ordered basically all the appetizers and of course the xiao bao. Our entire table was so impressed. We will absolutely be returning. Thank you!
Brad Malmquist
Great food, and atmosphere. The staff was very attentive. You should reserve a table in advance, the place fills up pretty fast around dinner.
Libby Sullivan
So good!! Best soup dumplings we have had! For sure recommend for a good meal. Fun atmosphere as well. Staff is very very nice and accommodating. For sure want to come back.
Robert Mentecki
Great service. I ordered the Cantonese pan fried noodles and it was delicious, I just expected more vegetables and beef to balance out the large amount of noodles. And this establishment has gender-neutral bathrooms. Which is not a problem for most men. But the women might have to sit on a toilet seat that has pee on it if history is any gauge of a man's ability to aim properly
Arif Patel
Oh my god! This place is fire. I had the vegetable samosas and they were not like the traditional indain ones but still really good and very unique. specially with the sweet soy sauce that comes with it. I had to write a review after the shrimp ramen bowl with the vegetable broth. It was so simple yet so extremely good. specially because of that chili vegetable broth. hats off to theses guys. that was an amazing meal!
Sarah Rubatt
Wonderful food, atmosphere and service. Can’t recommend enough!!
Alexandria Arnas
The service was incredible. She was funny personable and knowledgeable. Every year my group does a couples dinner and this was suggested. Wow. WOW The food was SOOOOGood.good isn’t even the word to use. The dumplings made me drool. The beef and tendor clay pot it was sooo satisfying. the meat was cooked to PERFECTION. the owner came over and wished my guests a happy birthday. She filled our waters and thanked us. She made my night because she was so cute and genuinely nice. Thank you staff and might I add. Get a Mia tie the cups are soo awesome.
Pat Fay
Kim and Chef Tony are the best restaurant owners I have met. The quality of food and their hospitality go above and beyond my expectations from any restaurant. If you desire great authentic Asian cuisine Mo Mo Mee delivers every time!
Barbara Holzmann
Delicious variety of dumplings, buns and numerous other dim sum items plus fantastic and flavorful noodle dishes with fresh vegetables well cooked meat. I will definitely come here again. By the way the service was prompt friendly and knowledgeable
Ryan Wal
We went today for lunch. Everything came out in a timely fashion and was delicious. We tried a little from every part of the menu and each dish was prepared wonderfully. The Tonkotsu ramen had a depth of flavor that is unparalleled here in Milwaukee. You could tell that every noodle was fresh and had a great spring to it. We will definitely be stopping back to try more of the menu as our first visit was delightful.
Hannah Mitchell
Went here on a Thursday night with the boyfriend and we'll definitely be back. As huge dumpling fans we struggle to find a place that wins on both the texture and flavor fronts, and well, I think we've found it. I'm not going to remember the real names of everything we got but it was all delicious. Soup dumplings were divine. I'd go back and just get 4 orders of those. Light and cute but packed full of flavor. We also got the shiitake dumplings, Korean beef bao and Dan Dan noodles. Everything had spice and flavor and was housemade with love. The staff was also extremely friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this as a place to go with friends for drinks and a bunch of shared items or perhaps a nice, casual date night. Like I said, I'll be back again many times.
James St. Louis
Absolutely phenomenal. I can not recommend this place enough.
The interior is very nice, comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly, helpful and fast and don't be surprised if the owner comes by to see how you like everything.
The cocktails are fantastic. I had the MO Fashioned, made with a very nice Japanese whiskey and orange bitters served chilled with no rocks.
But the food is the star of the show here.
To start, I had the Gua Bao with Korean beef and kimchi. I have never had softer buns in my life, it's like biting into a cloud! The taste is simply perfect and I highly recommend trying this dish.
I also had the Dan Dan. Now I wouldn't recommend this particular dish if you're not a fan of spicy food, but if you are, it's just a joy. It is pretty spicy by default, right at my personal upper limit of "comfortable" but it's not just heat at all. The flavor is just so good. I want to try something else when I go back but I liked the Dan Dan so much I might just get it every time!
I was slightly put off by the prices at first, but I assure you, the quality of the food and the portions they provide make the cost well worth it.
Momo Mee is definitely one of my new favorites.
Arthur Miller
The crispy orange chicken was incredible and is highly recommended!
Daniel Cruz
A true neighborhood gem and some of the best Asian food in the midwest. Chef makes his wide selection of noodles and dumplings in house, 2x per day. Fresh flavors, incredible textures, true 5-star eating experience!
Emily S
I’ve been wanting to check out Momo Mee for a while, but only recently had the chance. I definitely have been missing out! The food is phenomenal and authentic. The atmosphere was nice and the service was good. Momo Mee offers a large and widely varied menu, along with plenty of fun drink options. We had a fun dinner with friends, and I cannot wait to go back.
None of us had dined at Momo Mee before, and our server offered to explain the menu items which was helpful. We started off with the Xiao Long Bao, a first for all of us. They were absolutely delicious – each bite a (pleasantly) salty explosion of flavor and broth in your mouth. We also shared an order of the Taiwanese Gua Bao with Korean Beef. These were fantastic as well, loaded with flavor and a modest portion of two buns were split between the four of us.
For mains, two of us went with the Tonkotsu Ramen, one Cantonese Clay Pot, and one Shiitake Ramen. All of our dishes were delicious. I was extremely impressed with the Tonkotsu Ramen; good, authentic tasting ramen is hard to find, and the broth and the noodles were perfect. The egg was cooked perfectly with a slightly runny yolk, and the pork was delicious. Momo Mee is now one of my favorite places for ramen in Milwaukee. I tried a bit of the Shiitake Ramen and was also impressed with this. Our friend enjoyed the Cantonese Clay Pot as well, which was such a fun presentation.
Dining at Momo Mee was a great experience. Although it was a little pricey, you get what you pay for and the food was delicious. The only thing that was a little off about the evening was trying to pay; we wanted to split the bill in half (which for four people I feel is reasonable), but our server was nowhere to be found for a while after the bill was dropped off and so we had to go find her and awkwardly request the split. I wish it had been offered, as the four of us were all clearly not together, and we felt like we were an inconvenience for asking. Regardless, I look forward to returning and trying more of the wonderful-looking menu!
Shirley Draeger
We had lunch with friends here. Everything was Fabulous. Clean restaurant (restrooms spotless as well), friendly greeting, great service and food that was wonderfully presented and even tastier to eat. Portions were substantial, even the wine pour wasn't skimpy. Highly recommend, we will certainly return.
A
We came here recently and we're super excited to try soup dumplings and let me tell you, they did not disappoint!! Our waiter and who I can assume is the owner were super delightful and taught us how to eat them properly. It was great. We also had the ramen, I had the miso ramen and it was absolutely delicious. If you like miso, you'll love this. I can't wait to come back!
francie copeland-ford
The soup dumpling are fantastic. Also had the Szechuan wontons, good and spicy, crispy orange beef yummy and crispy
Jordan Washington
My wife and I found this place after searching for a restaurant with good dumplings. And we were not disappointed! The Xiao long bao dumplings were amazing. We also got miso ramen that was very flavorful. The owner was walking between the tables greeting guests and the atmosphere was very comfortable. We will definitely be back!
Sarah Mironczuk
If you enjoy Asian cuisine, then this place is a must! The noodles are all made scratch in House daily and the fried rice is THE BEST I have ever had. The soup dumplings never disappoint!
Will G
Frankly I don’t think the owners realize the level of stupid money they would make if they got on door dash or Uber eats
Ted Tang
Soup dumplings and pot stickers are great. Did not care for ma pao tofu. Great desserts.
Nick Green
Best dumplings I’ve had since I left Taiwan 4 years ago. More than a half dozen varieties and the soup dumplings were a show stopper.
Mary Medvedeva
When visiting a bigger city, my daughter and I are scouting out for Asian soup dumplings. This place has the best we have ever had. Everything else we tried was delicious and the atmosphere is fantastic. Definitely will be back
Bridget Graper
Great service! Our server was knowledgeable and helpful. Food was fantastic. We loved the soup dumplings and szechwan dan Dan noodles. Will definitely be back!
Caleb Osborne
Delicious soup dumplings! You'd be a fool if you didn't order the soup dumplings on your first go. I've never had anything from this place that wasn't great!
Emily Tran
We came here for our son's birthday dinner. Food was very delicious, especially the Xiao Long Bao & Taiwanese seafood & Tofu clay pot and services were outstanding. Chef Tony Ho, who is also the owner greeted us at the table with friendly conversation. Will definitely come back here often
John
Food was amazing. Not your average Asian cuisine. Appearance and taste of every dish exceeded my expectations and even the dessert was too good to pass up.
Brittany Wolfrom
Great food. Best Tom Yum I’ve had in the Midwest!! Also try the soup dumplings
Tim M
Fresh hand made noodle, dumpling and bao. Spot on spice and flavors are on point. Friendly and attentive staff. Owner is one of the nicest guys you'll meet. Genuinely cares about your experience and makes sure you are enjoying. Will be coming again and again!!
Kathryn Hughett
I can't remember what my husband had but I remembered us both liking it and not liking what I had ordered. Sorry. The prices were steeper compared to other places we have gone to in the area. We didn't care for the atmosphere. Too austere. We won't bother going back.
Stefan Levay-Young
First time back to Momo Mee in 2021 and this place is still amazing. Glad they were able to adapt to COVID and continue serving some of best food in MKE (besides the soup dumplings, the salt and pepper shrimp is always worth getting). Shoutout to Chris tonight for great service!
Courtney Wandeloski
Soup dumplings and chili dumplings were phenomenal! The staff was so friendly and checked on us often and made great recommendations. Their noodle dishes were also on point!
Daniel Bozarth
Went here with a group from work and it went wonderfully. The shitake ramen was great, and so we're the soup dumplings. Staff was also wonderful.
Kristy Hanna
We had a great experience! Service and food was amazing! I wish people would be realistic when going out to new restaurants. It takes time to get things ironed out. If you had a bad experience at a brand new restaurant, give it a month or 2 and go back and try it out again. I’ve worked at 2 new restaurants and it’s tough. Even after weeks of preparation and training things still got messed up daily for quite some time. Just be cool and realistic and you’ll be alright.
David
Excellent food and atmosphere. Staff were pleasant and personable. Prices were as expected. Selectuon was above average across the board. Most definitely will be returning to this establishment.
Edgar Perez
My wife and I absolutely love this place! The staff is very friendly and the food is absolutely delicious! Our 3 year old absolutely loves the food as well! Great environment and very good portions of food!
Dr. Shontina Gladney (Eat.Play.Grind.)
Oh my! Such fresh and tasty cuisine!!!
Courtnee Karpay
The soup dumplings were to die for! Amazing service!
djschiro123
I just had the dan dan noodle and it was one of the most unique dishes I have ever had in Milwaukee. Seriously wow. It reminded me of a bolognese but the added heat and fresh cilantro were perfect! Thanks for the amazing dish!
M S
Went at 4pm on Mother's Day for our first visit ever. Great pan asian spot with really nice dumpling / ramen selection. Cocktail list is good, definitely has something for everyone. Get there early because they run out of soup dumplings rapidly. I wish they had a few more options for Dim Sum but since MKE doesn't have a lot of Dim Sum spots these guys fill a much needed niche. 4/5 stars, would be 5/5 if the Dim Sum was more of a focus
Scott Davis
Very good, fills a missing food experience in Milwaukee. We've been excited to try Momo Mee. We started with the specialty Momo dish for the table. Little soup filled dumplings were delicious, great with the ginger vinegar sauce. My wife had the spicy tofu with minced pork, and I had the Cantonese Fried Noodles. She was very pleased. Mine was good, but I should have tried the bao buns. My friend ordered the pork belly bao and it was huge and looked great. Will be back to try more momos. Or, mo' Momo!
Kyle Redlin
Amazing meal! We had the Dan Dan and the Ma Po tofu. The Owner/chef even came out to check on our meal which means he really cares about the customer experience. Very friendly gentlemen. We will be back!
Joseph Davids
The dumplings were served closer to room temperature than hot. The flavor was subtle, when I was expecting something more. My wife loved her ramen. We both enjoyed the steamed buns.
Hau Ho
After the disaster at Artisan Ramen (see my other review about it), we decided to come to Momo Mee to get some ramen instead. I heard from other people about Momo Mee being a new restaurant in town, so I have been wanting to try this place.
The service was great. The waitress constantly check-in on us. Our two ramen bowls arrived very quickly and tasted good. Will definitely come back in the near future.
Douglas Keyes
Our first time there and it lived up to the reviews. Awesome food. And our server Reese was terrific as was the entire staff. Be back soon!
Aaron S
Great authentic asian style cuisine. Was craving soup dumplings and Bao and both hit the spot. A good selection of saiku and asian beers as well.
Amber H
Attention to details is needed. No complaint to the foods except I wish the food temperature can be warmer. I want to enjoy the food not chow it down and I find 10 minutes later my food just way too room temperature not so great for the noodle and xi long bao. I also find the plate and bowl are not clean as I can still see the grease marks.
Alley Ryan
The open-faced buns are amazing. The bun is super soft, almost spongey. I got the Korean beef ones wirh kimchi. Their kimchi is a bit sweeter than I make mine and WAY less spicy, but it's still better than a lot of the kimchi I run into and I enjoyed it. I'm told the place is often packed, which I imagine can feel really cramped as it's a small space, but it wasn't when I was there and the atmosphere was pleasantly relaxed. The owner checked on us personally and his enthusiasm for his craft was apparent. I'm looking forward to my next visit, especially because there are a lot of items in the menu that sound delicious that I haven't had a chance to try, yet. There's a huge shared parking lot in the back.
Adnan Kagalwalla
Food was mediocre. The gui bao was okay, while the longevity noodles lacked punch. The udon noodles were good but not great. Very expensive. Service was excellent.
James Kaplan
We have been to Momo Mee 5 or 6 times now, and it now has a consistent record. The food is delicious, and prepared with great care. The menu is not too large, so the dishes are delightfully distinct from one another. There are quite a few bao and dumpling variations, along with yakisoba, udon and rice dishes. Today I decided to try something new and I was delighted with the Japanese Eggplant with garlic sauce. As described, the eggplant was indeed lightly fried, presented beautifully, and accompanied by a lovely sauce. We love the veggie spring rolls, udon stir-fry, and masala, and look forward to our next visit. A big plus is that the restaurant is adjacent to plentiful parking.
Juan Garay
So good! It became my favorite Asian food spot.
Fred Leonard
Good food in emerging neighborhood. Easy, comfortable, lots of variety.
Rebecca Kroes
This is by far my favorite Asian restaurant. The food is spectacular, the service is spot on. The open face bao and the pork potstickers are to die for! Love everything about this place, highly recommend.
Husani Redding
At first I was unsure if I was going to like it. The dish I had was braised pork, with rice in a bowl. It was very good, I'll definitely be back.
Gene Lee
Delicious pan Asian meals including ramen, rice and dry noodle dishes.
The standouts were the Xiao long bao soup dumplings, nature's delight clay pot, and chicken fried rice.
The service was excellent and ambiance is casual.
Madeline Garcia
Amazing food! Killer Ramen, drinks were delicious. Went back the next day for lunch. New favorite
Joseph Powell
Living in the center of the largest Chinatown in New York City, my Taiwanese friend and I were somewhat skeptical when we decided to eat at Momo Mee restaurant. The rave reviews of the food at Momo Mees, we believed, had to come from people who just didn't know authentic Asian food. After all, we were in Milwaukee, fir gosh sakes! But, WE WERE WRONG. Our meals at Momo Mees provided us with some of the best homemade dumplings and noodles we have ever tasted. All the ingredients were fresh, succulent, and vibrant, from the beef in the beef noodles, to the vegetables in the clay pot stew. The blends of spices and textures created soups and sauces that were perfect.
We enjoyed a chat with the head chef, who came over and talked with us for a little while. Our server was ultra personable, attentive, and knowledgeable. The decor is very classy and appropriate for this type of cuisine.
There were so many well described choices on the menu, I will definitely be going back to Mome Mees; and when I get back home, I will be hard-pressed to find Cantonese and Shanghaiese meals that are as delicious as the ones I had at Momo Mees.
Amy Siess
The food was absolutely fantastic, the waitress was superb, and never having eaten these types of dumplings before, she was judgement free when I asked how to go about eating them. Prices are reasonable. Order the Xiao long bao!
Megan Thompson
The dumplings here are incredible. The owner makes them himself and they are so good. I love the broth dumplings especially- such complex flavors and lovely textures.
Ryan Inawat
Good ramen, nice staff, just avoid the bamboo shoots.
Update: This is the only place in Milwaukee to get freshly made soup dumplings. A must try for anyone in the Milwaukee area!

Excellent service, exquisite food, a unique blend and fusion of different regional cuisines. In West Milwaukee, not a place I would consider driving for such an avant garde restaurant but the straight forward but tasty menu, the clean lines and open windows give the place a larger presence then any other place. Well worth a return visit!

Okay so dumpling houses are my absolute favorite after trying last year and in the Seattle area have seen them all. There is one off of hwy 99 no one speaks English including the customers and before trying momo mee that was my absolute favorite.
Momo mee blew it out of the water like wooooowww. Very sweet staff very friendly and as well really good ambiance. Smelled new and very clean. No Milwaukee mildew smell which I avoid like the plague. Between this and capital Grille my favorite!

If you like dumplings, go here! Delicious! Best chinese dumplings in Milwaukee. Definitely get the xiao long bao. Excellent! You can tell they make them in house. Same with their other dumplings and their noodles. The owner and the staff are great, too. Go here!

Great experience and atmosphere. Service was very nice and friendly, and the food was delicious. The server explained to us what a few of the items on the menu were (because we weren’t sure what they were) and the sever was very knowledgeable. Can’t wait to come back.

We live 20 minutes away. I don't think that the food really held up on the lang drive home. It was good. I assume it would have been much better eating it fresh.
Rachael Meyer
Everything was amazing and very well made! The atmosphere was nice and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The owner/chef even came out to check up on every table and hold conversations. Highly recommend!!
Nope Nope
The food was above and beyond what I anticipated. Best Asian Cuisine I hav ever had in Wisconsin by a long shot! The owners were super kind, too!

Consistently, Momo Mee has been amazing. From the amazing food to the friendly customer service it, it always will be one of my favorite places to eat in Milwaukee
Catherine Krabath
First time visit but I will definitely be back! Food was absolutely amazing! Can’t wait to try more menu items.

This is hands down the BEST authentic Chinese food you will find in the city. The owner, Tony Ho, is from Hong Kong and spent over 10 years living in Japan. He was the executive chef at several of Potawatomi's restaurants, including RuYi. You won't find sweet and sour chicken and your typical fake Chinese food here. What you will find is an upscale atmosphere serving authentic xiao long bao, cantonese dishes, Japanese ramen, and an assortment of delicious freshly made noodle dishes. I was very skeptical before coming here as xiao long bao is one of the most difficult Chinese dishes to master. My family is from Shanghai so I grew up eating it but Momo Mee has mastered this famous dish. The owner works at the restaurant everyday and we talked to him for about 30 min. For dinner, this place is packed so I would recommend making a reservation. To avoid the crowds, I would recommend going during lunch. There is a free parking lot available by the side of the restaurant facing the Cermak grocery store.

It was very good. Maybe a bit expensive and i did not receive cutlery with my take out. But with that aside. The food was very good and I enjoyed it greatly.

Fully recommended, great waitress, great service, food is super delicious.
Kathy k (PrayerGardener)
Fabulous! That’s all I have to say. (Oh, make reservations.)
Allison McLellan
Excellent meal! This is the only place I’ve found serving xiao long bao in the area- these are great. Skin is nice and thin, broth is flavorful and they are served HOT. Try the eggplant and the ramen too! Definitely will be back to try more. Excellent service as well.

The xiao long bao is absolutely to die for. The waiter we had was super friendly, fun to talk to, and very helpful - he went over the whole menu with us since it was our first time there. The tonkotsu ramen was also fantastic - the best I've had outside of San Francisco since I moved away a while ago. I must recommend the xiao long bao, though, if you can get it.
5/5 stars without question. I'll be back.
Darius Babcock
Fantastic place for lunch or dinner. Good lunch specials. Really enjoyed the flavors.
The staff kept the place VERY clean and made us feel comfortable eating there during covid. Everyone was very friendly and attentive.
Joshua Moreno
Best beef noodle soup I’ve had. 👍
Eve Thao
Dandan noodle had a good balance, not too much peppercorn and just OK amount of Spice(hot/scoville) level, along with spicyness for flavor. Hand pulled made a bit of difference in texture too. They were very generous with the ground beef in this dish.
Had their Xiao long Bao, def a try. Make sure to wait a moment to cool down and eat whole to appreciate all the flavors and bursting broth in your mouth.
Partner had the Szechuan beef soup - she liked it and now we don't have to drive to Chinatown in Chicago for them!
Will be back to try Tonkotsu, shu mai and mapo tofu.
Manny
Food and service is good. Just wish the prices were a little more affordable.

If you love dumpling, this is the place to go in the Milwaukee area. I highly recommend the soup dumpling. The ramen are pretty good too.

Food and service was amazing!!!
Stephen Schenk
Food was really great, however we sat outside and it felt like we were ignored. 20ish minutes to get water and put in our order which included some drinks. Food came out, no drink...almost done with food...no drink. Would you like anything sure..the drink we ordered and so more water. 15 minutes pass finally the drink...no water. We give up. It wasn't even busy. So service side completely lacking, food side awesome!
Dan Weiss
Excellent dinner! The Xiao long boa is amazing, the guo boa is also fresh and delicious!
Eric Kuester
A Milwaukee must!! Chef Tony’s creations won’t let you down! The freshest ingredients all made by hand with love. Never been disappointed with anything we have ordered.
Magi Krzecka

Samantha Steinke
Saw a lot of people in a Milwaukee restaurant Facebook group raving about this place so I had to make the trip to try it. I was definitely not disappointed as this place has some of the best dumplings and bao I've ever had, not to mention their Yakisoba is awesome. 100% worth the trip and I will definitely be back in the future. Servers were also super nice and attentive as well. Great overall experience
Carissa Heckel
An amazing dining experience!!!!!! Soup dumplings blew us away! Miso ramen was the perfect level of spicy! Definitely going back atleast once a month!

Lori Muench
The food and service were amazing tonight. I has the samosas, Xiao Long Bao and janchep. All were spectacular. If you like some heat, definitely ask for the chili oil!
Ade Shabaka

Melody -_-
Super good but im sad that they removed the jjamjjamyeon and the kimchi rice bowl
:(
Tony Reyes
The mando dumplings here are a must get, everything on the menu is excellent
Scarry Larry
Really good food. Missing some ambiance. Service was not great. Awkward and unorganized. Don’t seem especially concerned about the pandemic. No masks or social distancing.
Sam Engsberg
Dumplings for days, some amazingly flavorful and unique varieties. Service is great, noodles are also pretty darn good
Jared
Unique food and friendly service. They were clearly understaffed which is basically unavoidable these days, so if you get annoyed with slower service, this place won't be for you.
Melissa Limbaugh
This place is great. Everything we've ever ordered has been excellent. Breath of fresh air for Milwaukee's sad lack of a decent Asian restaurant scene. I crave this place weekly, seriously.
Bruce Harris
Excellent Asian food with an on point drink program.
Morgan Galloway Daly
For people with severe but allergies: There are no nuts in their kitchen. Celebrate and order one of everything. YUM!
Alec Fantl
Momo mee is single handedly the best asian restaurant not only Milwaukee, but probably wisconsin, and maybe even the entire midwest.
Order the Xiao Long Boa. Only place in Milwaukee you can get it.
Sheila Badwan
First time here. Went with my girlfriends. They had really authentic food. I will be returning very soon.
Anne G
Best Asian food we’ve found in Milwaukee so far! Owner is friendly, professional and hard working . We love supporting this place and love the food!
Vinoth Sekar
Good flavor, would recommend getting a reservation. Szechuan Mala was very spicy!
Ben Sattler
Didn't live up to the hype. It was good but one dimensional. Every dish we had was missing some element that could have made it great.
Aditya Karandikar
Only had dim sum here during happy hour but the menu and our experience leads me to say the restaurant deserves another visit! Very friendly service in a modern setting.
Haley Stockinger
Best Asian cuisine I’ve had
Caleb Parks
This food is the best. The atmosphere is phenomenal. The owners are kind and helpful. These combine to create a wonderful restaurant. Please give this a try.

We’ve gone here several times since they opened a few months ago. Always delicious food and great service! The owner usually checks on us at some point in the meal, which we appreciate.
