Excellent customer service and authentic Jamaican cuisine! We loved every bit of it. The small glass of Rum Punch is very deceiving. It is loaded! The environment is amazing!

I really like this spot! Reggae music played the entire time, great customer service, great food priced nice, spectacular rum punch, I had the jerk chicken which was spectacular, but I wasn't pleased that 2 of my 4 pieces were like bones without much meat on them, the egg rolls & callaloo was amazing, nice happy hour specials, it was all so delicious, I closed my eyes & it felt like I was back in Jamaica, I can't wait to go back & try out some other items, as well as get more of the same!

My husband is Jamaican and wanted some authentic Jamaican food we drove all the way from the Dells and this was our first stop, they did not disappoint. The portions were a nice size, reasonably priced and the food was well seasoned and flavorful. The service was prompt and welcoming. Whenever we are in town again this will be our go to spot .

The food is utterly delicious. At this particular Jamaican restaurant it tastes like they have somebody's old Jamaican grandma back there cooking you a meal with all of her grandma love. There hasn't been a single time where I went and I had bad service or bad food. The prices are reasonable the service is great the atmosphere is great. In the event that you need to throw a party they have a banquet area available for you to rent so that you can have your parties. And your party guests will leave so satisfied. I definitely think that this is the best Jamaican food in Milwaukee.

Visited here for the first, didn't know this place existed. Something was off with the rice. But the stir fry was really good. The food did not give Jamaican vibes at all though. My son had the goat meal, my daughter had shrimp stir fry and none of it tasted Jamaican. Not sure if I will revisit

We have heard a lot of good things about this place and had to grab some food to go! We grabbed Conch Fritters and Beef Jamaican Patties as appetizers. We each ordered a Two Meat Platter “Dinna Plate.” One with oxtail and curry goat, the other with oxtail and Jamaican jerk chicken. We got a BIG serving (good for two dinners each), and everything ordered was delicious. We can’t believe it’s the first time trying it.

I had a great experience at Mobay. The staff, food and vibe was amazing. My goat was well seasoned, tender and not too oily. The cabbage was top tier. I could've ate it as a meal. So good!

Mobay’s has a great atmosphere and service. The food was good except rice was over cooked but you can taste every ingredient which I can appreciate. Fish was seasoned to perfection but they can lighten up on the salt. Will bust again for drinks and food🙌🏽

Super friendly service and excellent food! We got a tequila sunrise and a mojito to drink and jerk chicken and goat stew to eat. No pictures of the food because we ate it so fast. It was amazing!

Absolutely amazing food. This is not a place Ive gone once, but several times. We don't do that with a lot of restaurants. Only good ones. So FRESH & flavorful every time! My husband & I are very picky when it comes to quality of food & I cannot stress enough how good it is! If you're not familiar with Caribbean food, I strongly suggest maybe ordering a variety/apps. I highly recommend!

My sister was married in Jamaica and we wanted to have a taste of the food at her wedding reception in Wisconsin. I ordered 3 dishes the wings, meatballs and sliders. The food was outstanding! The portions were great and the service was friendly and responsive.

From a Vegan Perspective...Umm... . I am loathe to give any place less than three stars, but from a vegan perspective, this is not a great place to go. It's beautiful and has very friendly staff, but there's not a big enough vegan/vegetarian selection to make it worth your while coming here. The Jerk Bok Choy was very, very tasty, but not filling as an entree. It would make an excellent side dish, though. My friends had the Grilled Callaloo Cheese Wrap and the Stuffed Grilled Plantains with red beans and said they were ok. But they probably wouldn't order them again. BUT from a non-vegan perspective, I bet this place is great! I'll never know, but like I said, I don't want to give it two stars even though that's what I feel it rates from a vegan perspective. So I'll compromise and give three stars in the hopes that non-vegans find this place wonderful.

Good, authentic Jamaican food in Milwaukee's Walker's Point/Harbor District neighborhood. We tried the Oxtail and Jerk Chicken, which were both very good (the picture is of the large-size two-meat platter). The Oxtail was especially tender, and the chicken had a very nice, thick jerk sauce. The spice was hot but not overly so. The fried plantain that came on the platter was very flavorful, as was the steamed cabbage and rice and peas. The prices are quite low for what you get. We actually thought they should charge more. My former father-in-law is Jamaican, and I liked this place enough to recommended it to him.

This is a must in the MKE food scene. Fabulous food, generous portions, and a very cute interior. They had both meat and vegetarian dishes to choose from. Our staff was friendly and our food was prepared quickly. I cannot wait to go back.

Absolutely loved our dinner! Very fun, caring staff, excellent service, great music, great staff! The food was awesome! Definitely recommend the Jerk Chicken. The rum mixed drinks are a must!! Great spot for a fun date. We were invited to go on a tour of the restaurant and got to sign a chalk wall that will be used as art. And the owner came to our table and was very pleasant. If you are looking for an amazing dinner and love supporting small new businesses, this place is where you need to be!

Wow. Incredibly delicious! I got the brown chicken stew (the one only available on Wednesdays) and I don’t think I put my fork down until my plate was CLEANED. The chicken falls off the bone because it’s so juicy and flavourful. Recommending this place to everyone!!

A Great Jamaican Gem in Walker's Point. The Curry Goat Stew was flavourful and hit the spot. Their Rum Punch was also spectacular, nice and strong. Our server was very friendly and had amazing recommendations too. I highly recommend checking this restaurant out.

We stopped here today just to have a drink but when we saw the menu we decided to have a light bite. We had the veggie egg rolls they were absolutely delicious. I then decided to get take out so I would not have to cook. We took the goat curry and the oxtail curry both with rice and peas. When we reheated them later for supper we had delicious meal. The portions were also very generous. We will be back! Oh yeah, the restaurant decor/ambiance is also deliteful.

Ordered take out last weekend. Food was very tasty and I would have given it 5 stars but I felt for almost $20 they could have served a few more shrimp in the Caribbean Shrimp Rundown I received. The shrimp was also a little over cooked but still very edible. Other than that the food was amazing. The flavors they incorporate in the dish I ordered all flowed in together with each other so well. Will definitely be back to try again when I’m in the area.

Mobay Cafe is an amazing Jamaican restaurant nestled in to the heart of Walkers Point. It's a tropical atmosphere and the staff is very friendly and helpful, but the food is what sets this place apart. They serve traditional Jamaican dishes. If you're a fan of Jamaican dishes, I would highly recommend getting their Jerk Chicken entree - one of the best dishes I've had in a long time, the chicken was superb!

I had not had Jamaican food in months and I missed it...thankfully I found Mobay Cafe last weekend! My wife had the curry chicken and I had the jerk chicken. They were cooked and seasoned perfectly. We had a side of plantains which were chewy, crunchy and tasty. We also had a side of rice and peas which were delicious and the cole slaw was a homemade recipe to die for. Great service and food...what more do you want? Will definitely come back again.

Our first visit we really appreciated the speed at which our food came for takeout. The service is always great and very kind. Over the next couple of visits we noticed the deficiencies. Food took longer for dine in. Small servings for the price and the food appeared to have come from pre-packaged frozen distributor. Wish beef patties were home-made.

Either way, I order food for my parents and sister anytime their in town. Was back in MKE for a bit and found this had taken the place of the old Chez Jaques. Our party of 4 went on a Wednesday and had dinner and drinks. THE GREAT: Drinks were exceptional and a fun addition to the meal; the Bob Marley is a great way to start off dinner. Conch Fritters were excellent and authentic, my sense is that they were made as we waited and came out fresh with a great dipping sauce. We had dinners including the Wednesday chicken special; goat; oxtail and shrimp and all were tremendous and authentic dishes. The owner came by and you could see the pride and thoughtfulness of a great small business owner; which made me even happier we had gone. THE NOT SO GREAT: One star off; as the waitress made it VERY apparent she would rather be doing anything but serving us. For most of the eve we were the only table and she did everything in her power to avoid us. Normally I'd drop a restaurant to 2 stars for that type of service, but it was evident this was an indivdual who was either having a bad day or just hates her job; but she really didn't represent the overall culture of the restaurant from what I could tell. With the service others mention in their reviews this is a solid 5 stars and a great addition to the Milwaukee Restaurant scene.

They messed up my call in order and I was annoyed about the wait. Until I tasted the food. This place and Jmakin Jamaican food truck are levels above the rest of Jamaican restaurants in the city. The plantains here are the best but the serving size on the meat is smaller than Jmakin Jamaican but the food is a bit tastier. Take that as you wish.

I'll save food is very good. But I went on a Saturday later time 9pmish. Slow, very few people . My drink.jamician rum punch took 22 minutes to get??? My husband drink took 3 minutes longer. I dont time stuff but couldn't help notice since Allen bradley clock was by biggest view. Food took 45- 50 minutes. Appetizer was forgotten then came with meal. Since all meat comes on bone, most likely cooked to order I'll cut slack. Its was genuinely made . But improve service.
