We decided to take my mother here for her 75th birthday. Best idea ever! The four of us were seated immediately and the servers were attentive and gracious. We got our drinks in short order and ordered the apps - tuna tartare, beef carpaccio, crab cakes, and a Caesar salad. My crab cakes were a bit small, but loaded with crab and my wife's tuna was fantastic! I ordered a bottle of champagne and it arrived for the toast to the birthday girl! Our entrées were next - two boneless ribeyes, a filet, and some prime rib for my mother. Everything was cooked to perfection and the sides were the perfect accoutrement. A small birthday dessert for my mom was the final touch. It was pricey, but worth it. We would definitely come back!

Had The Privilege of Dining In at the Chophouse Last night 9-19-22 everything was Perfect. The hostess at the door was very polite although I regret not getting her name. And our Server Katelyn was outstanding. I invited my sister to dine with me as as early Birthday Dinner, and Katelyn suggested the 2 person menu and it didn't disappoint I wish I could give more that 5 stars. Every Item on the menu was cooked and served to perfection. They may look like small portions upon table arrival but trust me at the end of your meal you will be satisfied. Also the Blood Orange Sherbet was highly recommended for dessert and words won't do it justice I mean the flavor was outstanding. I would HIGHLY recommended keeping this Deal on the Menu. The choices were easy to choose with the help and knowledge of Katelyn. she was very attentive. And a Special Thanks to Frank, the manager of the Chophouse for taking care of the reservation everything went Smooth, and his attention to detail was on point. So if you're staying in the Hilton Milwaukee City Center or if you're looking for a nice quiet place to dine, I would recommend the Chophouse in your Top 3 places to eat. With my choice being in the number one spot. Thanks for taking the time to read this review and trust me you will not regret getting the 2 person meal

The food was phenomenal! Service was very good. Server was very warm and friendly. My only complaint is that for some strange reason. Instead of just giving us two Togo bags. She stuffed all of our leftovers in one Togo bag. This resulted in some of the food leaking on the back seat. Thankfully, I believe I caught it early enough that there was no permanent stain.

We had a great meal at the Milwaukee ChopHouse. It is a really nice steakhouse. The service was good and the steaks we perfect. The restaurant has a really nice ambiance to it. I recommend the mash potatoes and the chocolate cake in addition to the steaks.

First experience, I can say this was an amazing experience…!!! My server was Sarah she’s outstanding, very knowledgeable about her job and also the menu, quick reliable best server by far, the environment was friendly if your looking to be cheap or complain don’t come here it’s top notch and worth every penny i will be returning thank you for such an awesome experience 5 stars for sure

Our server was Sarah, she was amazing has been there 17 years! Great drinks, our food was prepared exactly as ordered. The manager came by to see how our meal was; she even gave us an Anniversary chocolate cake since we were just married 2 weeks ago! I would highly recommend!

Wow! My wife Vicky and I had a fantastic night at the chophouse. Our waitress was Kristina. She was not only knowledgeable about the menu but was kind and friendly. We enjoyed the boneless ribeye and the scallops, both items were perfectly cooked! We can’t wait to return.

Outstanding experience from start to finish. The check-in was warm and welcoming and we were seated quickly. Our waiter was extremely informed on the food and wine menu and took great care to every detail along the way. As for the food…I’m not sure I’ve had a better steak in the city. I got the boneless strip while my girlfriend enjoyed the filet. Both were cooked and seasoned perfectly, and I don’t use that term lightly. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Most amazing steaks we have ever had! Everything was cooked perfectly and the sides were also incredible. They had a great wine list and the service was over the top as well. I would highly reccomend for a great steak in Milwaukee. I don't know if I have ever had a better Filet.

First of all it was a blessing in disguise that the original restaurant where I booked for 10 people turned me down to add 2 more in the group so we ended up in MILWAUKEE CHOPHOUSE. Ambiance - we were seated in a private room which is perfect but we were able to see the whole restaurant and for me it is a nice and cozy ambiance perfect for a date night. The Service - we were seated right away and our server Kaitlyn did a phenomenal job in taking care of us so thank you for that. The Food - we all agreed that everything is delicious from appetizer to main course and side dishes and of course the soumptous dessert. I had my favorite creme brulee and my fellow birthday celebrant had a triple chocolate with Reese's on top🤩😋 Overall, highly recommended and i wouldn't mind going back😊

Amazing "old school" steak house in downtown Milwaukee. Food, drinks, wine and staff were all fantastic. Great ambiance, cozy and romantic too. Definitely a must do!

The local beer selection is excellent. The calamari is delicious and melts in your mouth. The bread was interesting with I think was a rosemary twist to it but the spread selection was awesome the salted butter, the amazing **blue cheese spread ** and the good but least favorite the olive oil and black pepper. The boneless 14oz aged Prime Rib Eye was a toss up for my favorite steak I have ever eaten. It was charred to perfection I went with medium rear and it just melted as you ate it and the taste was buttery with a little smoke and so so juicy. The wife had a Caesar salad and the seafood bisque. A little shocked she didn’t order the prime rib but she said she wasn’t very hungry. The soup was outstanding. The salad was a salad. It looked cool though. She has a cosmo that she enjoyed and a glass of wine that she really enjoyed. She ate a few bites of my steak and agreed it was a contender for best steak we have had. The atmosphere was very nice. Our server Terri was so good she was friendly she knew the menu. When we return to Milwaukee we will return for a reunion with that steak and bisque and probably add the prime rib to the mix.

I came here two years ago when I stayed at the hotel and now I’m back out here for work and this place deserves a 100 stars. It is hands down the best filet and mash potatoes I have ever had. Kiddos to the chef for such perfect flavors and char to perfection

At our table we had fresh bread with 3 different butter options (blue cheese butter, olive oil w/pepper and salted butter). The bread was warm and we were offered as much as we wanted. Our medium ordered filets were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The side dish options we chose were delicious as well. Our waitress was attentive with a friendly personality.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was very quick. We started with the Cesar salad which was perfect. For our entrees, my wife had the lamb chops which she loved. I had the 10 oz. filet, Oscar style, which was delicious. The crab cake was a fun difference to the usual Oscar style dish. We shared the loaded baked potato which was mouth wateringly good. We will definitely go back, and recommend the ChopHouse to everyone.

We went in late for a holiday on a Friday and got seated almost immediately. The service was incredible. Shout out to Sarah for being the best waitress we've had in a long time. Unfortunately there was some work function happening and one of the guests got extremely intoxicated and was very loudly describing and talking about wildly inappropriate subjects. Our waitress and the floor manager Zolf(?) were both amazing about the disruption. And that's not even mentioning the food. Holy smokes was that a steak. Easily one of the best pieces of meat I've ever had. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked and the balsamic glazed onions were pieces of heaven. They were so nice and gave us a free piece of cake because the loud inappropriate behavior of the party next to us disrupted our evening. To top it all off it wasnt even that big of a bill. To be fair we split a steak but there was still a lot of food to go round. I absolutely suggest going here if you're looking for a really good not horridly pricey steak house with a nice (usually) quiet atmosphere. Thumbs up.

We were here for a choir conference and decided to grab a steak. Chophouse was very good. From the time we got seated to the time we left the staff was very friendly and on top of everything from refilling our water to asking if everything was good. The food was done perfectly and tasted fabulous.

We love coming to the Chop House! The food is always awesome and the service is always exceptional. However we do like going to the Chop House at the Grand Geneva a little better due to the much better views and outdoor seating. I'm sure the menu changes from time to time but the lobster mac is outstanding! This is a great place to take your wife or girlfriend for a special event. Let them know what the event is for and they will be sure to service you with the highest standards.

Amazing atmosphere: A great restaurant for a dating or larger outing with friends and family. They have top shelf drinks for all their beverages: and the food *muah* and the staff is very personable. I recommend getting Heather as your waitress. Overall fantastic experience will definitely be going back next time I'm in Milwaukee.

Great food, drinks and service. My wife and I have gone here the last two years for our anniversary. They have made our dinner special both times. Last year the manger came over to our table with two glasses of champagne and a coupon for an appetizer on the house the next time we come in. Tonight our hostess welcomed us and congratulated us on our anniversary. Than our waitress came over and also congratulated us and asked us how many years. She seemed genuinely excited that we chose to come to the Chophouse. I had a excellent brandy old fashion sweet and my wife had a glass of whine that our waitress recommended and she loved it. We each tried different items and were impressed with the taste and quality of everything. The meal included appetizers, soup, salad, steak, scallops, salmon and loaded potatoes. Everything here is ala carte but we felt the price for the meal was resonable at $135.00 for what we had. Would highly recommend for a special adult night out!

Loved the tomatoes in my salad. Otherwise my steak was a bit tough for medium. Was lacking in favor. I asked for Bernaise sauce and that tasted like nothing no flavor at all. And they barely give you any. The salad was the best part of the meal.

Now this was SUPERB. we were in town for the VB tournament and ate there friday night for dinner. We were so pleased by the quality of the food and great service we decided to eat dinner on saturday night also.. The atmosphere was very calming, the decor was beautiful. It made for a very enjoyable meal. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area. We might have to go out of our way to stop here again next time were in Wisconsin. Thank you to the staff for great service and the chef for top notch culinary skills

If you want not only 5 star dining but 5 star service, please treat yourself to the Chop House. We went there for Thanksgiving dinner and we were waited on by Heather. She was beyond amazing and kind and professional and fun. And the food? Was something you'd see on Hell's Kitchen it was so amazing. I'm so glad we went there for our Thanksgiving dinner. Trip with friends and family and we’re referred here for great food and service. Wasn’t let down! We were seated ahead of our reservation. Service was excellent. Very attentive with glasses alway filled at the right time. Food is definitely a bit pricey but tasted great and there wan’t one complaint. Reservations for 7:30. Arrived around 7:10 and we were seated right away. Ambiance was fantastic. Quiet, warm, low light and romantic. Ordered calamari for appetizer. BEST ever. Individual breads were served with 4 different oils/spreads. Spreads were great. Ordered both a 14oz. Ribeye. Pink throughout with a nice favorable char. Ordered trio of sides (brussel sprouts, green beans and a garlic mashed potatoes). All good. The beans were especially good. Had bottle of red blend wine. Steaks were very good and cooked perfectly. The waiter and front of house were great. Waiter knew the menu inside and out. They checked on us often on how everything was. $$$, but we'll worth it. We definitely go back again.

The steak & drinks were good, sides were ok but service was the issue. We made reservations for 6:30, WE were on time but they didn't seat us till 6:55. And when they did they had opened a back room up and no one was in there - so why did we wait? The waiter came saw we had drinks from the bar and then we didn't see him for another 15 minutes even though we told him we were hungry. He took our order then our bread came and I don't recal seeing the waiter again until I called him over as he walked away from another table because we needed more drinks. As I said the food was good, steaks were great, I think the biggest complaint was the broccoli was chard which I don't understand as it was hard like it wasn't cooked much. The bonus was they had happy hour till 7 with 1/2 price drinks in the bar.

This place is a very high-end restaurant, the food was phenomenal and the guy I was with said the last couple times everything was fantastic. I had the crab cakes and a filet, my date had the bison tenderloin with a couple side dishes. Our waitress, Megan, was so friendly and patient with us. My date and I kept talking instead of choosing what we want... lol if you like someone that is completely out of your league, then this place is perfect to set a great first impression on a first date. Or a couple afterwards the first date! Definitely will be coming back!

Great service, and ambience. Food was ok. Went on a saturday for prime rib (my wifes favorite, and also her birthday dinner), they were out. The center cut filet was lacking in flavor. Seafood bisque was just ok, and applebees has way better french onion soup (also my wifes favorite). All in all not impressed especially for a $250 dinner

I went to the chop house in mke for the first time last night. It was a great experience. Our server was Megan. I couldn't have asked for anyone better! She was great! Very well informed about the food and told me a lot about the wine options. I can't say I normally get dessert when im out to eat, but she suggested the Creme brulee. After she described it to me I really couldn't say no. I've never had anything so good! Needless to say, I'll be back.

Wow. This place was great BUT you pay for what you get. Linen tablecloths and napkins along with wait staff (not just one person) that attends to your every dining "need'. Located in a base of a historically renovated old hotel build (now a Hilton Brand) you owe it to yourself to take a quick look see if the refurbished 2 story lobby space. Parking was very affordable at only $5.00 at the adjacent parking garage. A deal in any moderate to large scale city. The ambiance was really classic old school rat pack like. As I said the service was great, down to adjusting your utensils back to their proper order. Me I like to screw with the service staff and move them out if order as will. Three of us, one round of not cheap drinks, total tab, are gratuity was $225.00 and worth it ALL THE WAY
