Reviews of Meat on the Street
This food is amazing!
Its kinda small and hidden but well worth the find! The food is all prepped here and you can tell it's made with love.
The garlic rice might be my favorite thing.. ok just kidding the lumpia rolls are my favorite. I could have made a meal with just those. I took an extra 20 home to snack on during the rest of my trip.
The steak and chicken were marinated and very flavorful. Yizus was behind the counter and he was very helpful.
I like the cozy seats and the historical building is a nice plus. It's a good place for conversation and eating until you can't move any more.
The best filipino food you'll find in Milwaukee! My recommendations for first timers is the Hot Chick, Adobo over Garlic Rice, Beef Kabobs with pancit & on Saturdays they do a Lechon Kawali (crispy fried pork belly) Special that is absolutely delicious. 10/10
They're located inside Eleven25's food hall. You can order online ahead of time and pick-up within 5 minutes!
It was delicious. My spouse said, “I haven’t had a good meal in a long time!” Well sheeesh!! Lol.
It was delicious. The ice cream is light yet flavorful. First bite reminds you of vanilla but then the flavor changes. Yumdiddly
The meat was so tender and flavorful. We had both beef and chicken. He had white rice, i had garlic rice which had a little kick to it. He had a cucumber salad and i had slaw. Both very refreshing.
This restaurant has great food!! You have to order from your phone though.
I've been craving Filipino food and this did not disappoint. I ordered adobo chicken with pancit and five lumpia rolls. The adobo chicken and pancit was masarap (delicious) and reminded me of my mom's home cooking. I've never seen lumpia this long, but it was an amazing taste with this meal. Really enjoyed this food and can't wait until a food truck makes it's way to Madison!
Kabobs and Cucumber salad was excellent. The Lupina was good but only half filled.
I've been ordering catered lunches from Meat on the Street once a month since September 2022. They are always so responsive, affordable and punctual! They also have options for Vegan, GF and Vegetarian which helps with many dietary restrictions. Meat on the Street lunch days are always a crowd favorite!!!!
Yum!!! Every bite was delicious, I had a really hard time saving the other half of my dish for tomorrow, and to make sure I had room for the halo halo! I have always wanted to try it and it was amazing!
Ordered food when I came for training. They’re pork bbq stick combo is actually pretty good. Next time I come back, i’ll try different ones. Keep up the good work!
The young man at the counter was extremely kind and polite. While it felt like “fast food” I thought the quality of the food was actually great. The service was as well. Definitely a return trip when I’m back in Milwaukee.
Ordered for my friend and I and wanted to try something new. The hot chick was AMAZING—not too spicy and all the potent ingredients blended well together. I also got the flan for dessert and was pleasantly surprised when I saw the size of it. Great branding, prompt and delicious! Highly recommended.
Every time I have Meat on The Street they always leave me wanting more! I’ve been to a few food truck events in milwaukee and I always look for their truck. I’m so glad they added halo halo to their menu because it’s amazing. I would’ve posted a picture but I ate it too fast! The MKE food scene has been elevated with this fine Filipino food truck. My visit to their brick & mortar at ELEVEN25 Pabst is LONG overdue.
It's difficult to find lumpia that tastes like sunshine with each bite. I have found the ultimate place. Meat on the Street is not to be passed by. Stop in the 1125 building and your mouth will thank you!
Tried this place at the Chicago food truck festival today. Food was good and fresh. Would recommend.
Delicious Filipino food that reminds me of my Lola’s cooking from the fried rice to the babinka. Friendly service with a great company back story! Would recommend eating here for some Filipino comfort food.
Love their vegan bowl with tangy marinated tofu and the garlic rice. The turon dessert is also very tasty. One of my favorites in the area!
I highly recommend Meat on the Street! Their customer service is TOP NOTCH!! There was one time that I ordered through a delivery service and they forgot one of my meals, so the staff at Meat on the Street personally came to deliver our missing meal with 4 extra containers of food! So nice and so generous!!! Another time, I called about 30 min to them closing (I work nearby) and they personally delivered to my workplace within about 20 min from me ordering. The food is always fresh and delicious. I absolutely love the meat skewers and garlic rice. The beef skewers are tender and the sweet marinate is just the right amount of sweet. The garlic rice- well if you like garlic- you’ll love it; so flavorful and savory. I am gluten free too and they have many options for gf people! Really can not recommend this place enough. Please give this small business a taste!
This filipino food is so yummy, Delicious lumpia, flan, halo halo, meat stixs you name it they got it.
Went to the food truck yesterday at the Chase building for lunch and it was the best decision. Got the hot tofu. The rice was magical. Best rice I've ever had. Tofu was nicely marinated full of flavor. The sauce added lots of yum. And the service was impeccable. Everyone there was nice, cute, and respectful. Over 10/10 experience. Still thinking about that hot yummy tofu.
Delicious food, the Hot Chick and Adobo Bowl were both great.
The meat is fantastic. The wife loves the spicy chicken and the kabobs are amazing.100% worth driving downtown for.
Their food is amazing, but most importantly you need to get the Ube ice cream. Not only is the flavor great but the ice cream is perfectly creamy! If they every start selling it to grocery stores near me I’d have a health crisis because it’s just that good. 5/5. Meat on the Street makes Type II Diabetes worth it.
This place makes me actually sad i live so far from milwaukee 😂 20/10. Must try the adoboritto and the ube ice cream. They're my favorite!!! And the lumpia is just standard fare but if you like eggrolls They're very similar and you should give them a try. The sweet chili sauce is also the best!!!
I have been coming to Meat on the Street when I crave for some filipino food. The beef kabob are the best and garlic fried rice. Today I was little disappointed, presentation was so bad and portion was not the same from last time.
I was so excited to find good Filipino food in Milwaukee. Now I don’t have to drive to Chicago to get it. :) staff and owners are great. I really enjoyed the lumpia, Shanghai rolls, and adobo. That’s my jam. Thanks for the great food!
Fried eggrolls and limpia shanghai rolls are delicious. The shanghai rolls could use more filling for the price
Try the ube ice cream
Order online because they dont take orders otherwise
The beef kabobs are amazing. If you are thinking about eating at this place, just go for it. You most likely won't regret it
I had a chicken and a pork stix with a side of garlic rice. The pork was the better of the two. It soaked in more of the flavor and was grilled perfectly. Very tasty and I would get it again. The garlic rice was good with a little soy sauce added. I also had the Shanghai roll which was crunchy and had good flavor. It didn’t come with the dipping sauce shown on the website but that may only be at the food truck as the price was cheaper at the 1125 food court location.
Had the adoborrito, probably one of the best burritos I've ever had. Also got the ube ice cream, which I tried for the first time and it was really good. Definitely will go back.
Wow! I’d like to formally apologize for living in MKE for three years and not trying this place yet. Just got the adobo bowl, pancit, and tofu kabob. Soooo good. Amazing. Not the same old flavors I was used to. This was so yummy. Hard recommend. Fun dinner after a long week. Bowl was big enough to have plenty tomorrow for lunch. Price point is perfect. It’s now my mission to eat through this menu. I can hardly wait to eat the rest of my meal. Thank you for your delicious food and killer cooking skills!!!
We love this place! We were introduced first at Anime Milwaukee, reintroduced at the Kenosha Harbormarket, and now we have filled them to a fantastic brick and mortar space. We have not had a bad meal from Meat on the Street yet. We are big fans of the Adobo pork with garlic rice, pancit noodles, and of course their meat sticks highly recommend!
First time eating here, really great food. Usually I would have to drive 70 miles to illinois just to get this specific type of food now I think i may have just found my favorite place.
I don’t care if you’re Asian, White, Black, Spanish or whatever. THISS IS REALLY REALLY AMAZING :). If you haven’t tried Filipino food you are really missing out! The people there are great and do a 10/10 job, whatever you order. Top Resturants in Milwaukee by far.
Wow the kabobs are delicious!!! And those lumpias, I could not get enough!!
Excellent ice cream. Recommend pandan ice cream.
Went to this place for my Filipino mother’s birthday a few years ago and it did not disappoint! Delicious food and friendly service! Highly recommend!
We get meat kebobs and garlic rice for curbside pickup a few times a month. It's replaced our Friday night fish fry - we're obsessed!
The skewers are amazing. I would eat them every day if I lived closer. Literally ate enough to feed a family of 6 last week. Highly recommend
Filipino food with a modern twist. My favorite dish is the Binakol Bowl. Chicken with tomatoes, onions and straw mushrooms in a coconut broth. Egg on too for $1 extra. Permanent spot on 9th street near Fiserv Forum. Food truck out all summer.
Authentic Filipino cooking and friendly service 💗 …
Meh nothing special. It's sad cause I really wish a Filipino restaurant would make it big in Milwaukee but if the quality of food does not improve I dont think they can hack it. The place is nice but I think food is a bit overpriced probably because of where its located.
Meat skewers were tasty. I tried all 3, pork, beef and chicken. Chicken was the juiciest of the three. The spicy slaw was a great alternative to the rice!
As a fellow Filipino and lifelong consumer of the culture's food, I have got to say that Meat on the Street has stamped on the authentic flare with it's creations. I always have a nice chat with Alexa whenever I see her working and she always has a smile on her face. I am glad to see the business growing for her. I will have to stop by the restaurant one day. 4/5 right now, because I want to see a menu with pork/chicken guisantes, diniguan (chocoalte meat stew), and sinigang! Oh and let's not forget the lechon. But these again are dishes that will require additional staff that will help the talented chefs they already have.
From your local pinoy from Hawaii,

Excellent Authentic Filippino Cuisine with Exceptional Customer Service full of Culture they share with enthusiasm and passion.
The place offers an awesome range of fresh food. I love dining here. The employees are always super nice, pricing is reasonable and the spot is always well organised.
Awesome food, very authentic & flavorful. Friendly staff. Great prices. More Filipino food is long overdue in this city.
Amazing food some of the best I've had in a very long time Because of that I had to try everything on the menu I was not disappointed to say the least Customer-service was fantastic on a scale from 1 to 10 they absolutely received a 12 Thanks. Meat on the street
We did the curb side pickup, easy. The burrito was a 2 handed commitment. It was delicious.
Great food and excellent service! Got a few extras when my delivery with GrubHub got cancelled and we reordered with Uber Eats. Thanks for keeping good customers coming back for more.
Food is EXCELLENT. Typically provide very fast and friendly service. Be sure to try the egg rolls, great addition to any meal option!
Food is DELICIOUS!!!! must try. this is a family owned establishment and you will not be disappointed by the selection or flavor! YUM!!!
The adobo bowl is always a delicious bowl of soul warming comfort food. Finish with a Turon roll for dessert! Yum!
Creative fusion of some Filipino cuisine favorites. Very tasty dishes. They know what they're doing over here.
Meat on the street had food delivered to the hospital I work at for meals for healthcare workers. The food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Such a thoughtful gesture! Thank you!
Order was ready very quickly, looks kinda plain but very tasty. Props for the environmently friendly packaging and utensils too.
It's difficult that it's so close to my offices. Very good, fresh, and fast. Highly recommend, the spicy slaw.
Food was delicious, my 1st time trying Filipino food the owner and staff were very kind and helpful!
Such good food at a great price! Love that they have a spot during the winter months!
This spot never fails to deliver. They serve great food for reasonable prices, there is no waiting time even when they are busy.
Please bring back the brunch bowls.

Food was okay. Small portions.

Food is so good!
5/5
Awesome food
We've gotten Meat On The Street for dinner (both at their brick-and-mortar as well as their food truck), ordered platters from them for the holidays, and even had catering from them for our wedding. Whether you're looking for traditional Filipino dishes or Filipino dishes with a modern twist they have it all! Also, MOTS easily accommodates dietary restrictions with the vast variety of foods they offer. We would highly recommend them!
Meat on the Street provided excellent catering services from start to finish! They communicated quickly via email during the ordering process, and were helpful and understanding as we crafted our order. Staff was very friendly and set-up at the event was completely stress-free for us. They provided great menu description cards to be placed by each dish. Food was delicious and had enough variety for everyone to enjoy!
(Translation) I have no idea what that meat tastes like, but I think it’s super and I would really like another fan that the restaurant is faging.

Aš neisivaizduoju kokio skonio yra ta mėsa, bet manau, kad ji yra super ir man labai patiktu dar fainai, kad restoranas fažiuoja.
