Amazing boil! I had the shrimp lovers with extra sausage & finished with biegnets... I highly recommend this spot with two suggestions for the proprietors 1. Serve sweet tea... no sweet tea is a crime against low country cooking 2. Find a good bread pudding recipe & feature it at least on weekends but I'd eat it every night

If you are looking for the best crab boil in Wisconsin, look no further. My husband and I have been on the hunt for a good crab boil in Milwaukee after I had a great experience in San Fransisco. We have tried a couple and this one is by far the best! The crab legs are meaty, the shrimp are amazing, and I love all of the veggie options. PLUS, I got a side serving of the Everythang sauce to dip my food in. The restaurant ambiance is bright and open. They conveniently have a hand washing station by the front counter. Mindy is the GM and she is awesome! She checked on us a few times, and kept our table clean so we could enjoy the experience. I told her we will be bringing all of our out of town guests there and we are already recommending it to our Milwaukee friends. The entire experience was so good that I was compelled to leave a review.

First time here and everything was delicious. The price is worth it. The only issue was the so called deep fried Oreo cookies. If you are an Oreo cookie person you would know that they definitely don't taste like Oreo cookies. We were convinced they were knock off cookies. Lol So you may wanna save those $6.

Food is great. Flavor/spices is perfect. Wouldn't change this at all. Their heat levels are legit. Hot is decently hot, it's not some lame dialed down thing. We went to the Milwaukee/Water St. location. Food came pretty quickly. What I wish I had known, is they under-prepare you for eating this. Or I just don't know how to properly eat a boil. I would suggest, if you're like me, bring your own FORK. No lie. If you're a fork person, and like to use utensils, they only provide very flimsy plastic forks. These will not suffice. I liked the everythang sauce, and my wife went straight cajun. I liked mine better to be honest, had a little more depth. There is a ton of garlic involved in this food. If you love garlic, this is your place. The staff was friendly and the food was excellent. If you're in the mood for some seafood and like spice/garlic you can't go wrong coming here.

We stopped here on a recommendation from a friend. The space is well decorated and clean with lots of fun and appropriate 'stuff' on the walls and ceiling. If you've never had a seafood boil, you're in for a treat. You can either pick a combo using a 'recipe' that they've already created to make things easy for you; or you can build your own boil bag. We opted for the mussels and shrimp, with potatoes, sausage, and corn. Be warned that this is a messy meal and bibs/gloves are provided but it is possible to eat and not ruin what you are wearing without either. Service is fast and we only waited about 10 minutes for our food. The mussels were huge, and the shrimp were about what we expected. We ordered with 1.5 heat which is just right for someone without a tolerance for spicy foods. Everything was excellent, except for the corn. It was overcooked and mushy, I'd recommend avoiding the corn unless you're into that sort of thing. Our bag plus a phenomenal side of jalapeno cornbread was enough to provide a filling (but not stuffing) dinner. This is a fun stop, and would be great for 2-4 seafood loving adults. This probably isn't a great place to bring young kids as the food would generally not appeal to them (in my experience) and would be one heck of a mess to deal with.

Celebrating Mardis Gras, look no further. This Seafood boil let's you customize your combo experience with your choice of protien, seasoning, and heat. Tried the Zhrimp and Snow Crab, Everything Seasoned, heat level between weaksauce and Hot with Beignets for dessert! Needless to say, we were satisfied with the food, service and the atmosphere!

Great place, good location. Got the shrimp lovers, it was enough to feed my bf and I. We got the garlic noodles which I would pass on next time. But definitely coming back. You order at a counter and they bring it our to you so no waitress. They have all the stuff you need to stay clean, which is key! Great corn bread.

Had a boil with crawfish, crab leg cluster, corn and potatoes everythang sauce/Hot. It was delicious 😋! Service was great and the corn bread was the best I've tasted. Its even better then the one they served at Milwaukee public schools when I was little. IFYKYK what im talking about💯! DEFINITELY going back soon! The GM Mindy came around making sure everything was good. She offered a dipping sauce she created and it just took the flavor above and beyond.

I’ve had seafood on my mind for a while now and I decided to try this place. When I tell you the staff were so friendly and helpful they guy at the bar helped me out a lot I wish I knew his name! My food was fresh the flavor was delicious I had the everything sauce. Only complaint I have is the lobster tail was so small it wasn’t worth the price. Other than that I will return and bring others with me!!!! The inside is beautiful and it was clean!!!

It was my first time eating boiled seafood. I had a New Year’s special with lobster tail, shrimps, crab legs, potatoes and corn in it.. for 32 dollars. I must admit, it was very very delicious! Especially the corn bread on side was the highlight! I did not like the Margarita from the bar but overall I did not regret my visit to Lowcountry!

OK so this place was different...its self serve (gasp) yup. Your welcomed in and seated, given a menu, once you decide your food, you go up front and place your order...(wheww chile lol I didn't come here to work lol. The food was delicious and the customer service was great. I made my own bag with king crab legs(I came for the meat lol) I gave a 4 start rating because they give away our order and we had to wait on another order(rolls eyes) but the manger brought my table 2 desserts and they were "goodt"... I was just to hungry for for mistakes that night. Overall..Ill be back. Thank you guys.

Love this place! My friends and I come here all the time for drinks, food, good music and vibes. Mindy is so nice to us every time we come. All of the employees have been great and respectful. Plus the food is great every time. Just wish they were open earlier in the day (at least on weekends). They should also keep the Sunday outdoor summer party event going through the whole summer.

Literally the best seafood spot in mke. And trust me I’ve tried them all…Lowcountry is fresh all around. The sauce is amazing & actually spicy which I appreciate considering places offer different spice levels & they all taste them same—not spicy. I went with my cousin once & she got ‘hot’ which was too spicy for her & they remade her entire boil with a different spice level— babe seafood is expensive so to remake it to accommodate her was more than appreciated—literally exceptional! They’ve always served alcohol but just recently built a bar which I appreciate because if you want to stop & just have a drink you can do just that. The drinks are great; the bartenders are amazing…all of the staff actually. The atmosphere is very cozy & inviting. If you’re looking to be greeted & seated at the door do not hold your breath because it’s not that kind of place. Although you mainly seat & go up to order your self the staff are attentive & always makes sure you’re taken care of. If you’ve been here before, and had a bad experience that was probably on you because everything is exceptional. The food, drinks & music!!

If one is going assume the cost of a seafood dinner, one may as well get the highest of quality in food and service. This is certainly the place. We had the lobster, snow crab, and shrimp with the cajun rub and it was amazing! I was particularly impressed with the quality and flavor of the fish. The lobster was very flavorful. We will be returning for special occasions with family and friends, that is assured. 5 stars!

We love lowcountry! It’s affordable, the staff is amazing and the food is great. We love close by but we’d definitely travel if we had to. We’ve eaten in often, but we also love taking it home, pulling out the napkins and eating outside on the patio. Even our toddler loves the food and the potatoes.

Walked in for the first time at this location and loved the environment. The energy felt homie like a family reunion type of energy. Everyone was enjoying the food and the company. The food is really great! I love how they have two different types of flavoring when it comes to the spice of the food. It’s either spicy or not. Sometimes I like to dip in the spicy category when trying to savor some heat after eating the non hot dish. Great deals on the food. You get so much in one bag. It’s good to try other flavoring other than your own when it comes to seafood.

My family and I have been there numerous times. I love there seafood boils sooo much , that one day I was craving seafood and I drove all the way to Milwaukee to get it mind you I live in Madison. I love that they have things other than just seafood ,because my mother in law was with me when I came and she is not a fan of seafood. So she was able to order the vegetable boil loved it. Came in on 10/16/21. I'm from out of state and was in Milwaukee for the weekend. We went here on a Saturday night and there was no wait. Food came out quick and it was SO GOOD! The good: Very cool decor. Food was good. Atmosphere was fun. The bad: They didn't have anything to crack the crab legs (odd for a place that serves crab legs). They didn't have real silverware - only plastic - making it super difficult to get meat out of the crab legs. We got the garlic seasoning and OMG, the amount of garlic was absolutely ridiculous. Condensed, it would have formed a tennis ball. I was tasting the garlic 20 hours later, after gum, sleeping, and brushing my teeth. Maybe a new person messed up the recipe?

Lowcountry is an amazing experience! The employees are nothing but nice and friendly and the seafood is the best I’ve ever had! The atmosphere of the restaurant is so vibrant and upbeat as well. I tried the Combo 1 which is a whole pound of shrimp with the their “everything sauce”, it was extremely delicious. Could not recommend Lowcountry enough times. Will definitely be going back soon.

The seafood had a nice flavor, I tried the Lobster heat Level 3 and it was everything I was expecting as far as Heat went, but the only thing I could see as far as seasonings went we’re just red chili flakes. I was expecting more of a garlic, Lemmon, pepper, bay leaf profile. I also tried the shrimp and snow crab legs at level 2 and those were more flavorful. The staff is wonderful and very friendly, I’ll be going back to try some more dishes soon.

The staff there was very friendly. The cashier did take down one of my orders wrong but they were accommodating and made up for the slight mistake. Everything is pretty much self served and everyone was spaced out enough. My sister and I ordered crab legs, muscle, shrimp, crawfish, corn and sausage with the everythang sauce. The seafood amount was good and the sauce was perfectly delicious with flavor. The only thing that wasn't great was the corn. It wasn't sweet. We also tried the corn bread, fried calamari and fries. The sides were also all very good as well. I will definitely recommend.

I heard their other two locations were highly rated seafood restaurants in Chicago and Milwaukee does not disappoint! I feel safe with ample space between tables, and everyone had masks on. My only issue was the sauce in my seafood boil tasted like pure garlic I didn’t really taste butter or seasonings as much. It was disappointing. The crab legs barely had meat in them as well, considering the food is so expensive.

This was my first time here. I don't think I will return. Corn was the frozen corn. It tasted like the corn from the bag. Potatoes were very undercooked. The sauce was mostly just season with no actual sauce on it and it was very salty. But thats was just our opinion i say try it your self.

Really great food. Great spice and very quality seafood for Milwaukee WI. The had a really wacky payment system though. If you are going to have dine in then do it the right way this was a very poor set up. Everytime I wanted a drink I had to go up the the front of the store and pay for it like a concession stand. I don't know if this is a COVID thing but it was actually really inhibiting to the entire experience.

If you’re looking for a great place to eat, super flavorful, can’t stop eating type of food. This is the place to go! I’m sure you’ll find other friends or even make new ones as the atmosphere is so chill vibes everyone around you are enjoying it just as much as you and you make great memories. And, well if you’re new to boils with blow your mind flavors then i suggest you take that risk and go find out for yourself. It’s always so busy in chicago but everyone knows it’s worth the wait and worth the drive to this location! I highly recommend the combo A and add Lobster tail with mussels. Everything level 3 if you like it spicy and if you’re a cry baby take the weak sauce and that level is self explanatory. Don’t worry the honey butter jalapeño cornbread is included. High quality boils at a great price.
