We came here because of the good reviews and they don't lie. It's a very unassuming establishment. The interior is not updated but the tables were clean and the booth was comfortable. Maria gave amazing service - she made sure we had everything we needed, she and Cathy checked in frequently to offer to top off our coffee, and when we asked for to-go boxes, Maria boxed our food for us (I've only seen that at higher end restaurants). The food itself was very good. I had the Lisbon Special which is essentially a meat lover's omelette with cheese. My girlfriend had a gyro omelette which came with a delicious tzatziki sauce they make in-house (my girlfriend could tell it was homemade because of how fresh it tasted in comparison to other tzatziki sauces she's had). We also shared some delicious chocolate chip pancakes which they split onto two different plates without us asking (we did say we were going to share the pancakes). The prices are affordable and extremely fair for the quality and quantity of food they gave you - I ate my leftovers as another meal later on. We will definitely be coming back! OH and remember to bring cash (but if you don’t, you can go to the ATM next door at the liquor store which is what we did).

The food here is delicious and the staff is very warm and welcoming. I usually get breakfast the corned beef hash is ultimately delicious although you won't find it on the menu if you request it, they'll definitely make it for you with or without egg your preference. It is sooo delicious one of my favorite places to eat. They're only open until 2pm so get in early and get some grub.

.. Would REALLY appreciate an upgrade from the cheap Margarine used to actual Butter! Came in here w my grandma recent, talking up the pancakes (some of the best I've had); upon getting hers, she didn't realize how bad the margarine lessened the Pancake Quality 😞. Needless to say, she had a less than stellar experience. Butter > Margarine

The chief is amazing…. However the 76 year old lady is rude. She got irritated with me once I didn’t want my food in a bag that a men sitting next to me was touching on after he walked in wiping his nose with a piece of tissue. She barely spoke after that and anything I asked for irritated her! She needs to work on sanitation an customer service. The sad part is I always tip big an just referred four other people that morning. I’m hoping nobody had to experience the same thing.

Very busy place with all the regulars. Good specials. They served thick cut ham and the eggs were perfect and they use real potatoes for the American fries, make sure to say crispy if that's how you want them. Class A rating made us feel good about the food. Great service from the ladies! Nice to find a new regular place, cash only.

This is my buddy's favorite place for breakfast. I had to try it out. I had a great experience. Our server was attentive. I got refills on coffee without asking. I ordered an omelette with wheat toast. I forgot the name of it, but it had 3 meats and cheddar cheese. It tasted phenomenal. It was huge. My toast could have used a little more butter on it though. I had a great breakfast experience here. I can see why it is a popular place. I will return when I come back to town.

Classic diner food and atmosphere. It was packed when we were there at noon on a Sunday. Blueberry pancakes were delicious, as were the eggs, Polish sausage, American potatoes and toast. There service was good in spite of how busy it was. We will definitely be back.

Perfect local breakfast place. Food is delicious, service is nice. My regular breakfast is the corned beef hash, which is most definitely NOT your canned hash! It's home made and full of chunks of corned beef, potatoes and veggies. My eggs are always cooked perfect, too. The restaurant is small and quaint and the prices are good. Parking is on a busy street which isn't ideal and it can be a wait for a booth during busy times.

The food is delicious. Fresh eggs, crisp bacon, and big pancakes that taste amazing. Chris, the waitress is spot on. Very friendly, makes you feel at home in her kitchen. Food served hot, and refills coffee at the perfect time. Thank you, and I would highly recommend Lisbon Cafe.

Food was great.. my job gets lunch here about 1-2 times monthly. Food is good for the price. The waitress is an "acquired taste"; tad rude, but polite after the fact. Definitely a great spot to grab a quick and reasonable lunch.

Had hashbrowns, pancakes, eggs, and sausage - big portions, all for under 10 bucks! It is CASH ONLY. Food was ready in less than 10 mins, hot and delicious. Server was very nice and make sure my needs were met, while juggling 5 tables. Not sure why the other reviews had a bad experience, mine was not. Definitely a lot of regulars and such here, but it doesnt hinder the atmosphere at all. Very much so a hole in the wall diner with an old school feel. Thanks for the good food. I'll be back

I love this place. I drive 850 miles a couple times a year for their breakfasts and fish fry! Oh! Gus has the best cooks! A great neighborhood cafe. It was my home away from home every morning when I worked in the central city. I even went there in bad weather to hide out!

We went there for breakfast, I personally had a corned beef omelette with cheese, I must say- probably the best omelette I've had in a long time¡!. Excellent hole-in-the-wall joint needs a bit of an upkeep maybe some newer Furniture /tables etc.., but overall great food / great service definitely will return

The Lisbon Cafe has great food at affordable prices. The owner, waitresses, and even cook staff know the regulars, and are all kind and welcoming. There is nothing fancy about Lisbon Cafe, but that's not the point of going there. It feels, to me, like a small-town diner. Everybody knows one another and is friendly. And you always know what you're getting, well-prepared diner/comfort foods, at prices working people can actually afford. Lisbon Cafe is my go-to place for a great breakfast, or a quick sandwich. Definitely try it!
