Love, love, love everything about this place: the food, the staff, the drinks, the service, the attentive management, the fun karaoke nights. We haven’t ordered anything we haven’t liked. And you can taste the pride they take in their food. Highly recommend it.

Ok im not sure why i never left a comment about my experience but ... Maybe it was due to my food coma !! This place is one of THE best places to have seafood !! I love the ceviche very fresh and tender pieces of shrimp and octopus ... The camarones botaneros one of my favs !! Staff is always friendly and helpful I treat myself every now and then and when i think about the food my mouth literally waters thank the owners for having this place so close to home the atmosphere here makes u happy take time for urself unwind have a beer relax listen to great music while eating great food MUCHAS GRACIAS POR GRAN SERVICIO Y COMIDA!!

Honest Review — This is place is a real mixed bag that has its positives and negatives. Luckily the negatives should be able to be worked out. The bad- 1) like other reviews - the service is poor. Very poor. They are disorganized / slow / disjointed / and need to come up with more servers or just have a better system. We had to get up and ask for our drinks and to order. No one was rude or mean though - so that’s a plus. 2) the chips and salsa are BAD! I believe they are the circle chips that you find at a sporting event with nacho cheese! The salsa is kinda like a too spicy ketchup but that’s just my opinion. Maybe give another option? 3) we ordered steak fajitas and the meat was a little too fatty compared to other places The good- 1) the atmosphere was bright and fun on a Saturday night —- big mariachi band playing —- singing —-very cool - clean in there - bathroom was spotless 2) I ordered a “pot for 2” of various seafood items —— a big grilled tilapia - papas- onions - other baked fish — muscles —- shrimp —- IT WAS AWESOME!!! I wanted to eat healthy and I was able to and everything tasted great. I would strongly recommend it! 3) the prices were on par for what you get and the soda and water glasses are large (always appreciate that) I will absolutely have a return visit for more seafood - if they improve the service and the chips - this would be an easy 5 Star review!!! Will update upon next visit!

Hello La Casa Del Chivolin, I have been coming to your restaurant for the past 2 years now and I want to give a big shout out to your waitress Anna. She always does a fabulous job. I have brought my mother, cousins and this time I brought my 2 friends (one from Green Bay and one from Milwaukee) just to come to your restaurant to be served by Anna. She literally makes our day better! She is a jewel in your restaurant! Anna is the best waitress! The food was excellent. The fish and carne tacos were delicious. Give our respectful gratitude to your kitchen staff for making the delicious, safe, quality Latin food. We Love Casa de Chivolin! I would just like to humbly mention that the only thing that I always find slightly dissatisfying is the level of cleanliness around the booths where we eat (food on the walls/heavy amount of dust) However, I always choose to look past those imperfections to your great staff like Anna and your quality food that keep us coming back! Excellent food, but if you are planning to go on Sunday, I do recommend to make a reservation, we were seated right away but it took more than on hour to get our food served

Pleasant decor, food and service was very good. Seafood tacos were large and the seafood tasted fresh. Green chili enchiladas w/steak also very good, meat tasted fresh, good green chili. Both plates made fresh. Excellent salsa served w/ the chips. Rice and beans could have been served a little warmer. The owner came to the table to welcome us and to ask how the food was. Good experience. We'll return.

We did wait awhile before someone came to us. It is kind of small to be waiting as long as we did. I think thats something they can stay on top of. But the food was amazing. The owner introduced his self. He was nice and our server was nice as well. We will be back

Good was very good. Service was slow, I think they only had one waitress working. Very loud inside as the singer had turned the amps up way too high and you couldn't even talk without yelling. Also very hot inside

A little too pricey for the amount of food you get. Liked the mariachi band. I think the waitress was newer. Asked for water she forgot. Ordered margaritas and waited quite awhile to get them she said the computers went down.Hostess was very pleasant. Really should have it somewhere on the menu that there are jalapeños in the refried beans. One of the people with us took a bite and had no clue they were in there and She does not like peppers. It was nice to try a new place. But I don't think we will go back.

I was very pleased with the waitress. I was also pleased with our food. We had fajitas, the specialty for Monday, which is the mojarrita con arroz y frijoles. I had the coconut with ceviche de camarones con piña y mango. IT was great. I highly recommend.
