The food was amazing as always. They took the JJ Fish & Chicken out in Madison. We came to Discovery World and wanted to get the family some food, which was reasonable timing and pricing. While sitting there, it was a little discouraging- there were a few people who must have NOT seen the big sign on the door that says “ please wear a mask.” I understand though.. another small detail is that I ordered a 50 piece; and oh my gosh. The wings were literally PARTY WINGS. They were not the normal size of wings, when we have ordered from JJ’s in the past they were a pretty nice size. My babies are probably 6 of these small wings— and they are 3. That tells you how small they were. Other than that- facility was clean. Staff was nice.

Good as always. I am a little sad that they are now charging for extra lemon pepper. I can understand if you are taking all the sauces too but if you are not taking them, the little extra lemon pepper shouldn't cost extra.

I've never disliked my order from any JJs.. chicken is bomb & lemon pepper makes it that much better! Desserts are fresh just like the rest of the menu. Only issue i had with this location was the language barrier when ordering - Spanish is the 1st language of all employees so if you aren't fluent, ordering is a bit frustrating!

This food is ALWAYS on point. Only probs is the seasoning can be a little overwhelming, but just order it "Light On The Seasoning" & it is Great! There is Always PLENTY for 2 people in a Combo. The guys working are a bit rude at times, but they are better than most people who serve u food on Vliet & 35th st. So its OK knowing the people they deal with daily . I Highly Recommend JJ's and will continue going there.

I enjoy getting carry out from them and they typically have it ready when we go to pick it up, this time we called in for a carry out order, got the order number over the phone from them but when we went to pick it up after the 15 minutes they told us they said, “I’ll make it for you now”.... what’s the point of calling in for carry out and waiting if they aren’t going to actually have it ready! Or almost ready. But not even started is unacceptable. The food tastes pretty good though, just wish the customer service was on par.

I love the fish from here however, the area is not as safe as I expect. If there was anything aside from fries and coleslaw to complete the meal I would order more often.

The customer service was good the food was hot and fresh the chicken was actually done but the fries on the other hand, not so great we definitely try them again oh, just possibly pick something different on the menu I did chicken and fries something simple before I try something to extracurricular. But the staff was amazing they're all talkative. Pleasant clean parking lot Spain restaurant well lit worth the try!

My husband LOVED it but my our daughter and I only thought it was okay. We were visiting from out of town town and 4 locals HIGHLY recommended it but I thought we got way too many fries, I had to throw half of them away. Popeyes chicken is better, the perch was a bit bland and too fishy but the catfish was on point! The 20 piece chicken price was a good deal and though we had to travel back 30 minutes to our hotel, everything was still hot when we got back which was nice and rare.

This is the BEST catfish in Milwaukee. The food is always amazing and fresh. The service is never rude but not really friendly. But that's ok the food makes up for it. I recommend it highly.

Everytime I call no answers and i try about 20 times then I go into the store and what do you know barely busy and the clerk is not even busy cooks barely got any orders why aren't they picking up the phones to make sales!!. This jj fish is always slacking and customer service is very much need the jj food here food is okay could be better if yall pay attention to customer service and actually pic up phones and make some ppls orders lazy!! 4years ago but now they’ve gotten better and have yes real good catfish here

Great food. Dangerous location. My uncle was robbed and beaten right outside a while ago. They stole his phone, car keys (just the keys) and his chicken wings (80pc). I'd still say 5 stars because the robbery isn't their fault. Just be careful.

They're crazy rude, overpriced and the location is definitely not the safest, but their food is so good it's almost worth it. I believe I'll always be in love with JJ's. I just wish I still had the means to make it to some other location.

Don't be fooled by that nice photo. This place is ghetto as heck!! Bullet proff glass and all. Expect to get a good deal of shady looking people hanging around trying to STILL sell you bootleg DVDs or other things associated with such characters. But with that said I always come back for their bomb a** chicken and bbq sauce, and cat fish nuggets. The service, idk... never had rude service at least. I understand the employees mentality here with the type of customers they get. Only thing I hate about this place is there locations, only in the hood... but I guess that's where they get the most customers...

Fried chicken has no seasoning. Its like they only use salt. Salt and flour for chicken and salt and cornmeal for fish. Peach cobbler is like a gel with peach flavor. Spaghetti has no flavor and very little sauce. You can buy seasoned flour in the small packets and just put that over chicken and do better than this. I don't know if its just this location but I don't see why people brag about JJs.
