I'm new to the area, having just relocated here from NY for my job. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants in Milwaukee. Food is excellent (fresh and tasty) and the service is excellent. Even the owner walked around to see if I was enjoying my meal. Thank you for another delicious meal. See you soon.

We only had to wait about ten minutes to get a table, which wasn't a big deal. The atmosphere is very fun. Fun music choices. Our servers were polite, but we wish they were a little more attentive to our drink refills, etc. Thankfully we got all of our all-you-can-eat rolls we wanted from the start; otherwise, we would've needed to wait for a long while. I highly recommend the volcano roll. My favorite out of all 5-6 that we tried. The AYCE deal really is a deal. It comes with the soup and salad, and the mochi ice cream was a fun way to end the meal.

First time eating here! We were pleasantly greeted by two masked staff and promptly seated. Our party consisted of only three. We dined off the "all you can eat" sushi menu. On the table they have your typical table condiments, soy sauce, a pictured menu, and a drink menu. The waitress immediately came to our table to take our drink order and gave each person a paper slip menu where you would check off what you'd like to eat. The menu covered various categories such as appetizers, sushi rolls, soups, desserts and etc. Whatever you don't finish, you'd pay additional. Our table was clean, no sticky residue, and we were appropriately spaced-distance from other dining in customers. Our food came out as they made it. Our sushi rolls were beautifully presented, the seafood tasted fresh, and the portions were generous. The dessert we had was red bean ice cream and mango mochi topped with whipped cream. I noticed they had a sushi bar where you can singly go to sit and eat if dining and by yourself. The women's restroom was clean, with multiple toilet stalls, and sinks. I would absolutely return to have sushi here.

Overall everything tasted good, their menu has a great variety, the servers were very friendly and accommodating, and their portion sizes are definitely worth the price. However their ordering process is pretty confusing for the customers, servers, and kitchen. You definitely get your money's worth when you come here. Everything tasted very yummy. If you walk away hungry, then that's your own fault. We were definitely well fed. The portions are very big, and they have so many delicious things to choose from. I ate the steamed gyoza, a bit of my boyfriend's snow crab legs, the seaweed salad, the walnut shrimp, the crazy kani roll, the dragon roll, and the angel hair roll. Be careful not to order more than you can handle like I did, or your wallet will pay for it! This was my first time coming here. The ordering process was a bit confusing, but I think that when I come back I'll know better what to do. When you come in they give you a piece of paper where you write down what you want. They have nice picture menus with every item shown on it. If you're not a heavy eater, then I would suggest you use one pink slip for the entire table and try sharing the different things with your entire party. That way you'll all be able to try small portions of a bunch of new things. I think the ordering process may have been confusing for the staff as well. At one point a server came over to hand me steamed gyoza while I was already eating mine. My boyfriend got a nigiri piece he didn't order, but luckily our server caught it right away and got him the right roll in addition to the extra. They came out with one appetizer after we had already gotten our entrees. They also missed the mochi that I ordered (but I didn't mention it because I was already so full). I think their service would be so much better if they had people order a few plates at a time instead of everything all at once on one slip of paper. Despite the ordering process being a bit confusing, our server was very kind and friendly. She was always checking up closely on us, got me all the extra stuff that I asked for with no fuss, and even caught the mistake with my boyfriend's nigiri before we did. Will definitely come back, but I'll be doing the ordering process a bit differently and I'll be bringing many more people.

The restaurant is clean and spacious. There are dividers between the booth tables. The servers were very friendly. We had the buffet for lunch on a weekday. It's not a self service buffet, but one where you mark off what dishes you want on a piece of paper (like dimsum) and the servers will bring the food out to you. The two of us ordered 3 appetizers (mussels, shrimp tempura, seaweed), 4 rolls (crispy tuna, sake, Godzilla, crazy Kani), 10 nigiri pieces, and one entree (chicken katsu) to start off. Or so we thought. -shrimp tempura has 2 shrimp and a piece each of broccoli, onion, and sweet potato -seaweed salad is perfectly refreshing to compliment the sushi -chicken katsu was super crispy and yum. Really, all the food was right on point!) -mussels were 2 large mussels topped with cream cheese -the rolls were all good but not great. The Godzilla and Crazy Kani are very similar. The sake roll is a lot of cucumber, and the spicy crispy tuna is solid. -the nigiri pieces could do a little less rice The appetizers and entree came out first, and then the nigiri and rolls. Everything was delicious. Our only minor complaint was that there was too much rice with the nigiri, but I guess we kind of expected that from a sushi buffet. I had wanted to order one more entree dish, but after all the rolls, there was no way I could order more food. Our server seems to have known it. lol We did get some ice cream as dessert - they were out of green tea flavor in both mochi and regular forms. Red bean ice cream and mango mochi was ok. We had to roll out the door we were so full. Great experience with great people.

Excellent sushi! The all you can eat option is a great way to try new things and taste lots of different bites. Service is a little slow but it actually fits in with the ambiance and adds to an enjoyable meal. Great experience, we'll be back.

My husband and I drive up from Chicago every now and then and always make an effort to stop by at Jin’s for dinner. Quality and portion sizes are perfect. Highly recommend Godzilla, Jin’s & Volcano roll. Would not recommend the banana dessert as it was soggy.

This is such a beautiful authentic sushi restaurant. First, the sushi is so fresh and flavorful that it will blow you away. Second, the environment is so relaxing and upscale, you will love to spend the time there. Third, the staff is so sweet and attentive, they will make your time here amazing. You can eat a la carte or all-you-can-eat which is our go to at $25.99 a person. Add lobster or crab legs for $5 more. If you love sushi, you will love this place.

We came to Jin's on a Saturday evening expecting it to be super busy, but it was completely empty. We got seated and waited, and waited, and waited, 10 mins passed and finally someone came by to take our drink order and our food order. After that we waited for an extra 20 mins to get our drinks. 15 mins later we finally received our salads. By looking around there were only 5 tables that were full besides ours. There were many servers walking around but it took way too long to have our meal. Our dinner ended up being over 2 hours. The server said there was only 1 person making sushi on a Saturday. We each had 3 rolls and a salad with desert. My wife had the Sashimi as a dinner option, and I had the Pecking Duck. The duck was fantastic! I tried the tuna from the sashimi and it was very off-putting. I couldn't swallow it. It made me sick. Some of the pieces of seaweed tasted off and the avocado salad was too watery. That was the bad experience we had for our date night at Jin's. It's hard to decide if we'll return, but maybe in a few months.

Had a great time. Atmosphere was great. Service was fast along with being super kind. My only gripe is that the menu is limited for all you can eat and half the rolls and apps have cheese which sucks when you're allergic to dairy. The things I did eat were great. Otherwise fantastic experience. Dinner price was average.

Had a early dinner with some friends after work tried out the all you can eat sushi and entrees. We ordered 5 different rolls don't quite remember which ones but the Mexican one is good but if your not a fan of cilantro be careful when ordering they use alot! Also order various items crab ragoon, walnut shrimp, ham rice, seaweed salad, chicken wings and plenty of sushi rolls. It is an all you can eat establishment and alacarte but if you do all you can eat to reduce food waste they do charge per uneaten roll left behind by .50 to $1 or more. They vary on those prices. So please be considerate and bring your appetite!

I'm gonna start this off by saying that I do not eat raw sushi, and I don't always go for the kind that has any fish in it. This time I went against my usual veggies-only rolls and had the spicy Kani roll and the eel cucumber roll. I think spicy Kani is one of my new favorites! The other one pictured with the giant glob of cream cheese inside is the Philadelphia roll. They have an all-you-can-eat option which is about $26/person, but I usually can't even finish 3 rolls, and I buy the $6 ones. There are some fancier rolls that go for $13 to $16 per roll, so you'd definitely get your money's worth if you did the buffet style with those. Nice spot!!

After our favorite local sushi shop had to close its doors recently, we were in need of a new amazing sushi place- and boy did we find it at Jin's! :) Not only do they also offer incredible options for their appetizers, larger sides, desserts, and drinks, but their sushi selection is INCREDIBLE! They had so many delicious options in raw and cooked rolls, and they're huge, too! Presentation was also beautiful for our huge platters! Even the music was perfect and uplifting~. Can't wait for more visits, and will definitely keep bringing more friends and family back to enjoy such phenomenal foods! :)

The first time I visited this restaurant was a few years ago and it's been my favorite ever since. I come here on my best days and my worst days. The staff has met many of my friends at this point lol The food is delicious and the best quality sushi I've ever had. That's saying a lot for me because sushi is my favorite food and I've tried a lot from many different places 😆 Price isn't bad at all for an all you can eat. The place is beautiful and ALWAYS clean, the staff is wonderful. Fast, polite service all the time no matter how busy it is. This is my happy place. Definitely eat here 💜

For what you pay, it’s a fairly decent place. The sushi I had I give a 7 out of 10. I do not recommend the baked mussels. Will definitely be back to try some other things on the menu! Service was excellent!

We had such a fun time here. What to know: they do all you can eat for $24.99 a person. Definitely worth it! We ordered several signature rolls and they all were all great! I love sushi and I wasn’t sure how the quality would be for an all you can eat place, but I was pleasantly surprised. Our waiter was great, he made recommendations to our order which I loved. Definitely recommend this place!

Love the endless sashimi, apps and rolls option. It's great for a first time sushi/sashimi since you can pick one piece per time and don't have to worry about the pricing since it's all included. A few dishes are extra and some items like the mochi ice cream are limited to 1 per person. Get the sake bomb for a fun experience! They also have patio area for summer!

The restaurant looks very nice. Everything seems clean and organized. All the food was pretty good. So far, the best AYCE sushi in Milwaukee. The Gozilla and vulcano rolls are my favorites. The calamari is amazing too. Jason service was excellent. In another visit I went on Sunday dinner time and first the service was bad. The waitress was way too busy to get a decent costumer service and left me without drinks couple of times. Took a while to get the check and the menu for dinner doesn’t even change that much( unless you really want some lobster). Do not go for dinner time. All you can eat style sushi! We had such a good time there! The service is terrific. Nice and considerate people who think for you and ahead of you. They are probably the best part of the dinner experience. The sushi is nice. Would say the fish is fresh. The vinegar rice is less vinegar ish. The vegetable tempura is surprisingly good. The jins role is a bit saucer and creamy but still nice. At the end, the green tea mochi is a perfect ending!

This place is awesome! All you can eat for $24.99, and they encourage no food waste so don’t over order or you may get charged an additional fee. Atmosphere is fun and the cocktail menu is great! Enjoyed my time here. Our fantastic server Jamie explained everything to us first timers and we chose the all you can eat. Boy were my boyfriend and I were not disappointed. From the appetizers to the main dish. I did like the ginger lobster but would have preferred the whole lobster instead. The sushi...quality is AMAZING. I felt like I was at Tao in Vegas. This was our first time at Jin's and we were pleasantly surprised. We didn't realize it was all you can eat before going, and we loved it. The service was excellent! Went to my first all you can eat sushi place last night while visiting family. $25 per person for all you can eat just can't be beat! Everything was absolutely delicious! Going in, I did not expect this quality for all you can eat sushi. The waitress was so much fun and the atmosphere was fancy but also relaxed. Unfortunately they don't do Sashimi for the all you can eat, only Nigiri which can mean a lot of filling rice. Overall great experience. I would highly recommend!

The food runners are lazy and will ignore any request for anything. We were sat without utensils and didn’t see our server for quite some time due to how busy it was tonight so we asked several food runners for chopsticks and spoons and literally was ignored. The food runners would just stare at us with blank faces and then never return. Multiple food items we ordered also never showed up. Was extremely disappointed in the service tonight.

This place is amazing! My friend and I were skeptical and tested the waters but were pleasantly surprised at the quality that came with this ayce sushi and appetizers location. The menu is simple if you want to do ACYE. Endless appetizers, endless sushi/sashimi/nigeri, endless soups, endless entrees, and if you are going for dinner or during the weekend, one speciality seafood option. Oh and endless dessert, if you have room! The sushi is exactly what it looks like on the pictures which was borderline artistic! So many choices and a great price! Just make sure you eat what you order from the endless menu as they rightfully charge you per piece that you don't eat. Service is slightly slow but that's because the rolls are made to order, not sitting around. Don't rush freshness! We will definitely be coming back with a larger group now that we know this place is second to none!

Vegan sushi in Milwaukee? My friend told me that such a thing was possible. I've never been able to have sushi as a vegan, obviously, so when she told me this was now a thing here, I had to try it. They have seven items on their menu and we ordered all of them. They were all pretty good, except the one that was just a fried coating with plain rice inside, I'm sorry I don't know which one that was. It was lackluster, but not bad tasting. All the others were good. I can't say delicious or fantastic or I-Must-Come-Back-For-More-Of-This, but I'm glad I tried them once. The price was too high for me, for what we got, especially because you can't take any leftovers home. So we stuffed ourselves with what we ordered and I think only left a couple of pieces behind. $17 per person for 20 bites of food. Is that a good value? Maybe for you, but not for me. So while the food was tasty and the service good, I can't give this a four star rating because I feel the value wasn't up to snuff. Just my opinion. I'm sure there are plenty of vegans out there who would adore this offering and give it a much higher rating. My friend thought it was great. I don't think she's as cheap as I am. I tend to buy the vegan sushi at our local food co-op and it's exactly the same in taste, but at a much better price.

Very nice interior. Great service for lunch. Excellent food and a good method for ordering with your server for the unlimited meals. Really enjoyed the Tempura calamari, seaweed salad, gyoza, Eel & avocado roll. The dessert was amazing. I had the Tempura banana and green tea mochi ice cream.

This restaurant has an all you can eat sushi and seafood option for $24.95 (upcharge for crab legs). l love that the servers bring the food to your table. The sushi is really good. They have cooked and raw options. They have outdoor as well as indoor seating available. The servers are friendly. The place is clean and has a nice ambience. If you order the all you can eat option, if you don't finish what you ordered, you will be assessed a fee for what you don't eat. It's nothing outrageous. My fee was $2. I really like it hear.

First visit. Arrived there at 8pm and it was still packed. But we were able to get a table in 15 minutes. Everything we got tasted fresh and good. The soft shell crab, lobster, and miso soup are delicious. The rolls are pretty good as well. Our waitress was also really nice.

Do yourself a favor and take a mini vacation to Japan, and go to Jin's Sushi Seafood & Bar. You will walk in and be greeted by authentic Japanese decor from a cherry blossom tree and paper umbrellas. All you can eat sushi, salad and seafood. The food is awesome, the service is awesome and helpful with the menu and ordering. You're not going to find a better sushi place in the Milwaukee county area then this place. The sushi ordering is an unlimited style but that does not affect the quality. The onigiri and rolls are amazing. You also can order unlimited appetizers, soups, and also get one choice of dessert (Try the mochi ice cream). You will pay extra for leftover sushi to prevent waste so just make sure you finish what you order.

The all you can eat lunch selection is much larger than a lot of sushi places I've been to, and no matter how busy they are, no matter what time of day, the service is always spot on. The fish itself is on the whole pretty good! The salmon, which is usually my favorite, has never really hit at Jin's, sadly, but their eel is absolutely fantastic! And don't forget to try a tempura fried banana for dessert - trust me, it sounds weird, but it's SO GOOD! And of course, I would be remiss if I didn't mention their awesome atmosphere. The decorating inside touches on so many different pieces of Japanese culture, and it's quite a feast for the eyes. Absolutely worth a visit! However, they have very limited options for those who don't like sushi and aren't interested in the appetizers, so be aware of that when making decisions.

I heard about this place from a friend who enjoyed it. Being a bit skeptical about an all you can eat sushi place still, considering others I've frequented, I honestly wasn't expecting too much. I decided to go there last night, and I was very pleasantly surprised. There are at least 3 other places I've been to in the greater Milwaukee area that are priced similarly, but the quality of Jin's was far superior during my first visit. The signature rolls, nigiri, and appetizers were all superior to the other places. They obviously don't skimp out on their seafood and take pride in the quality of product. There are also a lot more high end types of choices that are usually add-ons in the other places mentioned above. All of those things are all you care to eat for the fixed price at Jin's. On top of that, they offer your choice of 1 seafood entree included in the price! I had a whole lobster that was cut into pieces and stir fried in a spicy chilli sauce. This was all included in the price of the dinner buffet. This place is new, and I really hope they keep up the level of quality and service that I experienced last night, going forward. I plan on returning frequently. I whole heatedly recommend Jin's to anyone who loves seafood and sushi, and values both quality and a fair price for a superior experience.

Their sushi and Nigri we're good but the ratio of fish:rice was not great. They definitely make everything bigger by adding a bunch of rice to every piece so you get full faster without enjoying the fish. The service was good, the waitress was fast and came by a few times to check on us during the meal.

Jin's was really great sushi for the Milwaukee area. All six of us had the endless sushi and seafood so we could share. I personally loved the Philadelphia, sweet potato, black dragon and green turtle rolls. It was really busy, I would recommend a reservation on the weekend to wait 15 minutes instead of an hour. I want to come back and try more.

Went with a few friends during a super busy time and we only had to wait a little while to be seated and the pace of the food coming out - when the kitchen was clearly swamped - was honestly perfect. We did the all you can eat sushi (on a Saturday night - tonight actually, ha) and everything was perfect. I'm not a big sushi person and I everything I tried I liked - the Mango Tango was my favorite - more sweet than your average roll but so good! You definitely get well worth your money in quality of food, cleanliness of the restaurant, friendly staff, and even though it was super packed I never felt like people were on top of one another or crammed and the noise level wasn't an issue either. There's clear plastic barriers between booths and honestly I think that helped block out surrounding noise and amplify our own conversations. 100% going back!

I came here because of the online reviews. The man in a review who said "authentic " does not know what he is talking about. This is a good place with a group of people and kids, but for sushi it's not. Hamachi was dry as well as the Saba (mackerel). Though rarely do, I got a spicy tuna hand roll and a normal spider roll. The spicy tuna was tasteless and the spider roll might as well been a salad wrapped in rice - way to much lettuce. I was also given a bowl of chopped tuna which was also tasteless. My opinion, probably a good place for family and seafood. Sushi, make the drive to Chicago. If this place is the best Milwaukee has to offer for sushi, then make the drive to someplace else. By the way, I could give it less stars, but to be fair, maybe some of the other food is better

Fantastic experience! Very welcoming atmosphere, with a quick seating, and a quite expansive menu of options. For the Dinner rate of $24.99 could be quite worth it mixing a few specialty rolls and an appetizer. While the food was fantastic, the service was a bit slow (cannot blame them, seems they were busier than expected for a Monday night), but a bit of a big gap between ordering and having the food delivered (20-25mn per order). 5/5 would return for the great sushi, and perhaps speedier service on a less busy night.

There are solid non fish menu offerings for the “absolutely not I won’t try it” tag along dinner guest, the ambiance is excellent, decor, and a very polite and professional wait staff. This is my go to spot, period. Best prices on sushi in town, hands down. Just as fresh as screaming tuna, or any other respectable sushi spot in town. You can get all you can eat, made to order, for the price of one roll at some other places. The only catch is, you have to eat it all, or they could charge you. I have never been charged, for leaving an extra piece or two, but just be forewarned. If you go to dinner, you can add a whole lobster for $5. Its a big one, too. I go hear extremely often, and recommend it more than any other place in the city. The staff is always excellent, and I have never had a bad experience in the 40 or 50 times I have gone here.

First time going to Jin’s and I loved it! Went during the dinner rush on a Friday and it was packed with a 35+ minute wait which proves just how popular this restaurant is. The all-you-can-eat seafood meal is a really good deal if you love sushi and other entrees. The waiter was kind and attentive despite the huge dinner crowd which made the whole experience so much better. Some advice to future customers; you can order more but you will get charged for leftovers. The rolls are pretty big and very filling so don’t overestimate your appetite. Happy eating!

Went here on a Tuesday evening because Friday and Saturdays were crazy busy. We expected a decent experience. We ended up spending close to 2 hours in here. Not by choice, mind you. Our server wasn’t the greatest. She asked us what if we wanted to order any more sushi, but we hadn’t even gotten our food at all yet. This happened twice. On the second time (30-40min after our order), she said she would check on our food. She came back and said that the kitchen was making it... someone messed up somewhere. We also had a dessert on our sheet that never came out. She asked us if we wanted anything else after our sushi was gone and we mentioned to her that we still had the tempura banana on there, she nodded and said “right away?” To which we said yes... she came back out to take our sushi plates and again asked if we wanted anything else... at this point, feeling defeated... we said no, and just the check. Never got the desert. The food was good, no complaints there, but service was extremely disappointing. Might be back, might not.

We used to frequent Kyoto. During the pandemic Jin's had better quality food, better rolls, better prices, was overall better. My family and I have gone to Jin's three times in the last two months. The first my husband ended up throwing up all night. The second was for lunch and it took an hour just to get our food, we arrived after the lunch rush. The quality of the appetizers, seafood, and sushi were of high quality, prepared quickly and with thoughtful aesthetic plating even though we were dining rather late (we were the last customers on a Friday night). The staff were also very polite and attentive -I was never without a full glass of water. We were slightly confused about the all-you-can-eat pricing, such that we thought the bill was undercharged. The prices are unbelievable, especially given the exceptional quality. I would not have been surprised if the bill had been double what it was. We highly recommend it and will be back soon!

It's a little too pricey for what you get I believe. Unless you can eat sushi all day long then you are not likely going to be full with just the seafood main dishes. The food looks very good but the flavor isn't that strong. The team here is very attentive and the restaurant is clean. I would return for social gatherings but not because it is the best-tasting food for the price. Minus 1 star for price and flavor.

We each ordered the $25 all youcan eat sushi meal and were able to try some items that we probably wouldn't have ordered. The rolls were all super yummy and there is plenty to choose from. Of course we ordered too much, but definitely wanted to pay the upcharge for leftovers. In the end they only charged us a few bucks to take home what normally would be $15+ of sushi! Definitely worth the meal.

Had the sushi buffet. Nothing to write home about. Sushi quality was what you would expect from a buffet style restaurant. They had a good variety to choose from, but some rolls were overdone with imitation crab. Also tried their seafood lobster (ginger and spicey) and bowl for additional cost. Lobster doesn't come with the actual tail, so I would avoid if you're not a fan of picking at the shell and the sauce was quite thick. Seafood bowl was pretty bland and the sauce was, again, quite thick. I'd probably give this place a try again for their menu items if I were in the area. I'd assume that their menu options are the "go-to".

Jin's has got to be one of my favorite places in MKE to get sushi. The inside decor is comfy and feels like an escape into a real Japanese izakaya. Original Review: This place really went from the best in the area to competing with the restaurants that were far beneath them in less than a year. They still have really good food, but whether or not you get it will be hit or miss. To date, my complaints would be a bone in my wife's sushi (for some reason, that's only been a thing in Milwaukee... The rest of the US has somehow figured out the deboning process), excess skin on some salmon, and missing sides of rice. Regardless, this HAD been the best in the area, so, as it stands, this would likely be the place to go. Hopefully the future produces better competitors. Or, at least, one competitor that doesn't slump to the sub-par quality of it's "rivals."

On a busy night once they did accidently forget about us for awhile, but when they found out we were waiting, they had our whole order out to us in like 5 min to make up for it. The appeal of the all-you-can-eat makes for a slammed restaurant, even early on a weeknight. Ordered some apps and six rolls, all at once. Didn’t see the server again until after over 90min in. Asked if we wanted a second round. At that point, we were ready to go. Food was fine, but due to the rushed nature of the restaurant, didn’t feel the best.

Lunch menu is smaller than dinner so if you’re looking for all the rolls they have available make sure you go for dinner or just order to go! But the all you can eat is such a great deal if you order just 2 rolls and some appetizers it pays for itself!

This place must be what heaven is like. Oh gosh, where do I even begin about Jin's? My dad and I have been here twice within the past two weeks. We previously had high hopes for this place from the online reviews, and boy did they deliver. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by a joyous greeter, and terrific ambiance that is a modern and elegant take on Japanese culture. Even if the food sucked here, I would still come back just for the ambiance. As we were seated, we were immediately impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant. Our server Jason (along with the several other helpful servers), only added to how much we enjoy our experience at Jin's. Although our food took awhile - which is expected because we ordered 4 and 5 rolls from the All You Can Eat (lunch and dinner on separate days) - it was worth the wait. With a diverse menu, everyone in your party will leave satisfied. The shrimp shumai appetizer, the ___ roll, and the green tea mochi ice cream are our favorites. I love this place so much, I couldn't stop dancing in my seat, and I forever will whenever I come to Jin's. 12/10, would recommend.

This was my first time at this restaurant and I was VERY happy with my experience! My boyfriend and I had Mia as our waitress and she was so nice and attentive to our needs. She took amazing care of us and even let us know when we may have ordered a little too much food that most people can't finish (you get overcharged for leftover food when you get the endless seafood and sushi) - it was MUCH appreciated! Joan was a manager and stopped to talk to us and make sure our experience was excellent. I didn't get another hostess/Manager's name, but she wore a suit and was soooo extremely nice too. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant! It is 100% worth the money and we will definitely be back!

My friend and I went there on Wednesday night, the place is great, it has Japanese style cabin fit for parties, it is awesome. The dinner menu is so good as you can choose one type of seafood each person. I choose the steam crab legs, my friend choose the lobster(it costs $5 extra), the steam crab legs is on average, but the lobster looks so good. I will try it next visit. The waiting time for the food to be prepared is moderate under my expectation for busy dinner time. The hand rolls are awesome, really enjoyed it.

My husband and I went around noon, so not that busy so server was very attentive. I don’t think they should market as “all you can eat” on their menu. They limit the specialty seafood items to 1 pick per person and you would have to pay $5 extra if you pick a lobster dish as your 1 pick. The only items unlimited are the appetizers and sushi rolls. With us wanting more of the specialty seafood items, would we go here again, the answer is no. Overall it’s nicely decorated, our server was friendly and patient with explaining how to order.

I have been to Jin's at least four times in the last month and I'm always finding something new to love. The service is friendly and even when it's a packed house I have wanted for nothing. The sushi is top notch, on par or surpassing the other restaurants in the area. What really sets the sushi apart is the quality, from the seafood itself and the portioning, it really hits the mark. The premium seafood options that come with the all you can eat menu serve to raise the bar even further, from the sweet shrimp to the steamed snow crab, and the sea urchin there is something for adventurous and timid eaters alike. For a small upcharge ($5) you can even get a whole lobster. They even have quite a variety of sakes, sparkling and kimoto included. This place may have opened just recently, but it wasted no time in carving out a place in this diner's heart. Recommended dishes: Steamed snow crab legs, salmon sushi, pan seared salmon, tempura calamari. Though I may as well just say 'everything.' I have now recently been back to Jin's since getting the go-ahead to get back out there, and the quality has not changed in the least. This place is still my number one pick for best restaurant. Everything is still impeccably well made, and incredibly fresh. I am looking forward to trying a few of the new additions to the menu since the times I've gone in the past. I am telling all my friends and family that will listen to get in this restaurant.

Overall I am impressed with the food. The plates are presented well and the food it aesthetically pleasing. The food combinations are balanced and for the most part, the over-all quality of the food seems to be high. I will say the soy sauce tasted a bit sour and I could not tell if that was by design or by accident. Regardless of the soy sauce taste I will not be docking points because it married so well with the items we ordered; I had no issued with flavor profiles and the balance of each item was well suited to its respective profile. The over all ambiance "feel" of the establishment was pleasant and peaceful though I thought the lights were a tad bit too bright. The scale seemed to be well balanced but the size of items are slightly disproportionate to the overall environment. The smell was neutral and I has no distinct negative smells, the overall smell was of the food being cooked (which was pleasant) and the tables and the floors were swept and clean The staff seem to be on point with information and the operation of the business. The staff seem to be pleasant in demeanor and respectful. The service was OK and thought service could have been slightly better, but it was not to the point of point reduction; given that the restaurant is freshly opened (only two weeks ago as of this date) this rating is contingent upon the continual growth and continuance of quality in this restaurant, to wit, i am expecting the service to be slightly more prompt and attentive and the quality to remain the same. As things progress with this restaurant I will update my reviews as needed: HOWEVER, overall, I RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT, GO THERE! EDIT 1-5-2021 : Its been almost a year! The food has remained high quality. i went here with others on the jan 1st and the benches where dirty and the plastic dividers full of fingerprints and hair oil as someone was resting their head upon the plastic. I have been coming here since week 1 of opening, i almost changed my rating to a 4 star because of these things. i chose not to change it because they immediately got the staff to clean up not just our booth and benches but the others that needed attention. When they started handing out gift cards i bought the seventh one, i say this to show how often i go there. A mistake like this can be a deal breaker, however due to prompt attention and correction of the issues in tandem with how often i go there and get excellent service and food; it will remain its 5 star status... for now. i still recommend it!

My wife turned 40 yesterday and she wanted to end the day at Jin's. I started coming here when they opened with my son. We enjoyed every visit. I have been a sushi eater for over 20 years and have really good sushi and really bad sushi. Many sushi bars have tried the all you can eat. The problem with almost all of them is they only offer limited items and they up charge you for certain items, (maguro,toro,uni). Jin's is the best all you can eat sushi bar i have been to. Full menu, no up charges, plenty of options and Great quality food. The restaurant is very clean and i have not had one bad server/waitress. Impressed with the sushi selection! Although this was a buffet, these are not pre-made, which is a huge plus! Given the Covid19 situation we are in, and even if not, pre-made sushi that customers walk around to grab onto their plates is never something that is sanitary. So, this place was a refreshing change in the meaning of how buffets are done. You choose from the menu and they make it specifically for you. A friend of mine told me about this new restaurant opening by Southridge Mall, and we went and checked it out last night. The hook was definitely the all-you can eat Sushi, for only $25. It's a hell of a deal, and you certainly get your money's worth, and more. Along w/ this, the all you can eat option allows for a fun, engaging experience, as you test out rolls you wouldn't normally think about trying. While I don't have a ton of experience w/ sushi, I enjoyed everything, and look forward to going back, in the future. We visited on 7/20/2020 to celebrate a birthday and I must say that I am extremely impressed by some of the changes over the last several months and as a result am updating my original review. The restaurant was significantly more active and considering the global situation I was quite surprised. We were quickly seated at a table which was comfortably spaced from other guests. All staff were wearing PPE and appeared to be considerate of spacing. Service was significantly slower than our last visit -- almost too slow. The 3 chefs on duty appeared to be working as quickly as they could to keep up. The quality of the rolls has significantly improved and they were worth the wait. My favorite is the Godzilla Roll. The staff was incredibly attentive and took good care of our birthday girl and more than made up for the longer service time. Looking at all of the guests in the restaurant you could see lots of smiles. It's clear that everyone was having a good time. The quality of the food has significantly improved and the service staff was very delightful. Thank you for making this a night to remember. -- Original 3-Star Review: We visited Jin's Sushi Seafood & Bar on 2/1/2020 with probably higher than normal expectations due to the local buzz and higher than expected reviews. Call it unfortunate luck but our experience missed the mark. The general ambiance of the restaurant was quiet, but beautiful. We arrived for an afternoon lunch (about 1:30PM) and found ourselves one of maybe a half dozen tables with the majority of the restaurant being empty. We started out by ordering from the A.Y.C.E. options. We had ordered two items off the Seafood menu. The first was the Scallops & Garlic Sauce. The scallops were overcooked and sandy. This was unfortunate as biting down on the sand was not very pleasant on the teeth and unfortunately rendered the entire portion inedible. We reported this to a lady who appeared to be a manager of sorts and she did offer to replace the portion but seemed uninterested in the actual problem. The second was the Spicy Seafood Bowl which consisted mainly of crayfish. Unfortunately the spicy sauce did little to penetrate the shells of the crayfish, shrimp or even the open mussels leaving them generally flavorless. It was almost as if this meal was steamed or boiled in water and then a sauce applied afterword which left very little flavor to the dish. The majority of the rest of our meal consisted of the "Special/Signature Rolls" which were rather delicious. It was easily the best part of our experience. The rolls were rather loose, and many of them were missing key features. Most of them looked considerably different than their pictures on the menu. The Mango Tango Roll did not have the cherry tomato on top. Our final portion was dessert. We were excited about the Mochi Ice Cream so we ordered 1 Chocolate, 1 Mango and 1 Strawberry. The same manager from earlier delivered the treat to our table and tossed a plate on it consisting of 1 Strawberry & 1 Green Tea and proceeded to walk away mumbling that she was out of everything but Strawberry and Green Tea. She did not even bother to ask if this would be okay and instead continued walking away leaving us dumbfounded. The three of us had to share two desserts. :( The service was generally fast. Maybe a bit too fast considering the attention to detail and the quality of food could have been better. It's blatantly obvious when a chef does not taste their food and sends it sandy or missing garnish. Consistency and quality will determine the fate of this restaurant and being a regular of other area competitors, Jin's certainly needs to step up their game for longevity in the market. The restaurant has only been open a couple of weeks and this time is critical to gain loyal customers. We left slightly irritated and disappointed. It will likely be some time before we return. Most of the food was very good, but the service was slow and seemed inexperienced. I had steamed crab legs, my fiancee got a sushi roll, my crab legs came out, ate them and another appetizer, before her sushi roll even came out. Server forgot stuff almost as soon as he was told them. I could see if they were crazy busy, but it wasn't bad at all. Many tables were open

Honestly even with the long wait, our server apologized multiple times, but it was no big deal. Anyone who would complain on a day like this is just plain rude. First time here, and we got the lunch special. Everything was amazing. The waitstaff is great. No complaints. We did not know that whatever is not eaten there would be a charge. But the waitress understood waived the 1 dollar for each to just 2 dollars each person. I was wondering, because the portions were huge. Lbvs. We will definetly recommend and be back. Best sushi date-night my wife and I have had in a long time! We visited this past Saturday, February 29 for an early dinner to avoid the rush. Everything from the service, the food selections, as well as the amount of food you get for the price were fantastic! We partook in the all-you-can-eat sushi dinner which includes a seafood selection as well. My wife chose the sashimi plate, and I had the crab legs. My wife stated that the sashimi pieces were the most flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth pieces of fish she has ever had! I was taken aback with the shear amount of crab legs you get included in the dinner price! I love crab legs and could not have been happier! For the sushi, we tried the following: Crazy Kani Roll Rainbow Roll Philly Roll Spicy Scallop Roll Dynamite Roll Sal-fornia Roll American Dream Roll We loved each and every one of the rolls we selected, and cannot wait to go back soon and try more of the rolls we have not tried yet. Wife got ginger lobster that waa horrible way over cooked hacked up pieces of shell all over very hard to eat meat all reduced n tuff not good at all n she is to shy i wanted her to send back she wouldnt. Wish she had got steamed one. Appitizers are good the only one i didnt care for was soft shell pic shows two nice pieces of well made soft shell what shows up to table is like a spiderweb of chewy crab with dry coat of tempura batter mostly batter.
