Reviews of Five O'Clock Steakhouse
Frank Ditore
Wonderful experience at Five O'clock. Great old school charm and very attentive service. We had a party of nine and our needs were handled quickly and professionally. Food was excellent although the steak was not to my preference. They have a unique style of cooking the meat and it comes out black sitting in a dish of black "juice". The meat was tender and cooked to order perfectly but just did not appeal to me hence my four star rating. Other items were great and the standout appetizer were the Thai Buffalo shrimp. Overall this is a very nice restaurant but also very pricey. I will visit them again but only on expense account!

I've been coming here for years. We always have good service. Last night we encountered a rare situation where we didn't get seated for over an hour and a half after our reservation time. They encourage you to have a few at the bar which is where you put in your food order. This was just the first time I had experienced this with them. Our waiter was fantastic...the service always is. The steak was really good. It's a classic supper club steak house and they know what they're doing.

Such an amazing atmosphere. We ate outside and it was so beautiful. From service to the food, everything was above and beyond. The crab legs are to die for. Worth every penny. The French onion soup was phenomenal! Keep it up.

This has to be my favorite steak house in the city…they never disappoint, and this last visit was no exception. I had dinner with two of my girlfriends who have never been here, and they also agreed that the meal was fabulous. Steaks were cooked to a perfect medium rare and the onion rings are one of my favorites things to get as a side …so delicious! 🙂
I think the best part of our visit here was our server, Josh. He was absolutely amazing! I can’t remember the last time I’ve had that great of service in Milwaukee! 5 o’clock is lucky to have him.

One of the best old school steak houses, I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. This is a place that needs to be in an old time gangster movie. The steak was by far one of the best I have had in my life time. If in Milwaukee or even close to Milwaukee, you have to take the time to enjoy a true exceptional experience.

My husband is a big steak eater so I took him here to celebrate his birthday. The steak was really good and juicy. It was cooked perfectly to his liking. We also love our waitress and her attentiveness to our needs. We will be back for steaks in the future. However, I was disappointed with my king crab legs and will never order this again. For $165 (1.5lbs), I expected my king crab legs to be juicy and perfectly seasoned. Unfortunately for me some parts were dry and some were super salty. It was definitely not worth the price.

Absolutely the best damn steak I have ever had. Make sure you go in with an empty stomach. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the service is impeccable. This place is worth every penny. Multible staff members including upper management visited us during our meal, but they never did so at a point where we were interrupted or felt like they were stopping by too frequently. I highly recommend this Five O'Clock Steakhouse to anyone, even if you don't like steak.

A definite must stop in the 414 is you like a supper club atmosphere and amazing food and libations! Crab cakes are the best I’ve ever had (including those from New England), ridiculous crab Mac n cheese, great steaks, incredible liquor selection. Don’t bother if you don’t have a reservation!

Best steak in town! Our server, Josh, gave us the best suggestions and was very friendly. Even the manager(I think) came to check on each table.
We ordered bone-in filet mignon and ribeye in medium. Don't get intimidated by it's look! Its charred on top, super juicy inside. Sits on a bed of caramelized au jus sauce...ahh the sauce is just out of the world! You would think the food would taste bitter by it's looks but it's just the opposite! Steak tastes amazing, well seasoned and melt in your mouth in no time.
We also ordered fried calamari, which was good too in portion size. Their Hawaiian non alcoholic drink was alright, I didn't like it because I don't like cherries.
The best part is all their steak (except the ribeye) is halal. We went during their yearly halal week, when their au jus is also halal. I wish I could give one extra star for that.
Their steak is better than some of the high rated Chicago steakhouses. It's a hidden gem. May be not so hidden because it's always busy and you definitely need a reservation. I'm definitely going again!

The best tenderloin steaks I have ever had! This is Wisconsins oldest Supper club and if you want that supper club feel, look no further.
Order your drink at the bar first and then they will seat you when your table is ready. There is often a band playing different nights of the week.
My husband and I went for our ten year anniversary. We had tenderloin with king crab legs. The sides, bread, and salad were wonderful starters. It does look like an older style supper club on the inside, but for us that is just part of the charm of this place.
Highly recommend!

Went here on Tuesday for dinner with a colleague. Obviously well liked by locals as it was full. Friendly and efficient staff. Very large portions. We could only finish half our steak. Might be an idea to offer small portions too. Food was good, steak and vegetables. Nice place but suspect that without reservation in the weekend, little chance for a table.

This was our first time here and it will not be our last! From the service to the food and the atmosphere we loved every part. Our server Zarjie was very friendly, informative, and all around great. I got one of the specials for the night, 2 filet medallions with 2 shrimp & 2 scallops served on top of asparagus. My husband got the prime rib and said it was one of the best he’s ever had - I agree! Service, food and atmosphere all were 5 star!!
Maria Hernandez
Made a birthday reservation and we had a great experience! The steak is excellent and the servers are very knowledgeable of the menu and the steaks they serve.
Sarah Henery
First visit even though I’ve worked in the neighborhood for years. The service was A+ (in the way that reminds you how much great service can make a meal) and the food was flawless. The steak was maybe the best I’ve ever had and it was a NY strip MR for reference. Appreciated the free valet service. This place delivers on all fronts.
Gregory Dorsey
This is by far the best place in Milwaukee to go have a great steak. Great atmosphere, service, drinks, menu and staff. Cozy and casual. Double cut prime rib, 1 lb potatoe, asparagus and calamari. Lobster steak shrimp for her. Two weekends in a row. My BD and hers the following.
Sherry Schultz
A security guard at The Rave recommended we try Five O'clock Steakhouse/supper club. It was Saturday night, March 5, just a bit past 5 o'clock and we didn't have a reservation. The place was starting to get crowded and the hostess said they could seat us if we didn't mind sitting on the patio with propane heaters to warm us. We were starving and game for al fresco dining. The service and meal were equally outstanding! The steaks were cooked to perfection as were all of our sides. For dessert, Flourless Chocolate Cake and a Brandy Alexander were spectacular! We'll be back next time we're in Milwaukee - and reserve a table on the patio!

Visit 1::The steak was good, definitely not five star, maybe 4. The food was good for the most part, service was average, expected a lot more, especially for the price!
Visit 2:: Reservations only.. VERY busy. You now sit at the bar to wait for your table, place your order there so the wait at the table isn't so long. We waited 30 min. past our reservation time to get seated. My steak was good, crab cakes were tasty, love the bacon appetizer, huge salad and baked potato, nice sized asparagus order and relish tray. Server Christian was attentive and on it. Glad I tried the restaurant for the second time! Strongly recommend!
Alicia Hernandez
Drinks were fantastic! The steak was nothing I would write home about. Mine was pretty cold and tuff but everyone else seemed to enjoy there's. It felt pretty rush too.But the atmosphere and service was top notch.
Colleen O'Malley-Campbell
Great first time experience! Took steak loving hubby for his birthday. Bartenders from the start were excellent. Cocktails perfectly made, they had a rhythm to get all customers covered. Vibe is definitely old school, from the music to the decor, they haven't changed a thing. Hub loved his filet; perfectly done and favorable. Daughter ate her shrimp scampi in no time! Sides are generous and full of flavor. Shout out to our server, Zarije, who was very helpful!
Julia D.
I took my husband here for his birthday and we had an absolute blast! The cocktails were good and the steaks were incredible. He ordered the ribeye and I ordered the filet mignon. They were cooked to perfection! The staff also treated him to a slice of Key Lime Pie for his birthday. We will definitely be celebrating special occasions here moving forward.
Will Duchaj
5 O'clock Steakhouse has a great old school supper club ambiance complete with attentive servers, decor, memorabilia, and music. However, the real anchor of the whole experience is the fantastic food! After starting at the bar with wine and Old Fashioneds we were greeted by our server, Josh, who gave us a very complete description of the available foods and options as well as some helpful suggestions. The table was presented with salad, bread, and a relish tray. We each opted for a steak. Both were a terrific rare plus! Sides were very tasty too, and we ended the meal sharing a grasshopper. We also tried the key lime pie, how delicious! The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and pleasant, and we would highly recommend the valet parking.
David Mcknight
Ok here was go! Live in the area all my life. Wife and I went in for my 50th birthday lastnight. Omg!! Talk about good eatting. My steak was our of this world and my wife's scampi was mouth watering. Will definitely be back

My fiance took me here recently for my first supper club experience. It looks like an old timey kind of club inside and out. One of those places known for their fancy food without looking overly fancy. We started with a drink at the bar - I did a pomegranate martini, and my fiance had an old fashioned. Both were great, and strong.
Our server came up and explained how things go, told us the specials, and gave recommendations when I explained I was in between a few choices. We placed our orders and were taken to our table shortly after. The entire place is pretty dim-lit, like most steakhouses. There was a performer singing in the other room by the end of our stay.
I ordered the surf and turf - lobster tail and filet. My fiance got the ribeye and French onion soup. We shared the crab Mac and cheese. Breadsticks, honey, salad, and a relish plate was complimentary. Our server suggested a mixture of their Greek dressing and ranch... Soooo good! The French onion was good, plenty of cheese and onions. The broth has great flavor. My favorite part was probably the crab Mac and cheese. It's delicious without being overly fishy as some can be. My fiance isn't big on seafood and he loved it.
Both of our steaks were cooked perfectly medium rare. I am not big on charred steaks but these were not too heavy on the charred flavor. I had a drink on the specials menu - Grecian Delight. Wow, it was incredible! Very refreshing. Our server told us that they use herbs and ingredients from their own garden. This drink included some of those - fresh oregano and mint. I also got a tiramisu martini because we were too full to get dessert. It was the perfect substitution.
Next time, I really want to save room for the cherries jubilee dessert! Sounds amazing. We definitely had take home boxes, considering we ordered a lot, and the servings are big. This is a great spot for a date night or special occasion. I can't wit to go back!

The best service, the best experience in WISCONSIN not just milwaukee, but in the entire state of Wisconsin. Also better then any service ever in Chicago! I felt like I was back in Ny! Free valet please tip them well. Great door greeter! Great host great servers great atmosphere and of course great steaks! A table of 4 cost me almost 400 but with that experience and those memories it was well worth it. Don’t worry about your car they have a system set up to protect your cars and belongings. The neighborhood is the opposite of the business don’t be fooled. If I could give it 10 stars I would. And if I could recommend 1 thing for the management I was request a much thicker chocolate cake for desert with whip cream haha but that’s just me. The cheese cake was awesome and the cake but since I love chocolate so much it should be thicker and more moist. The steaks the bones in filet was on the nyc level! Great job ownership did a wonderful job. This place has been open since 1906!

I went to this restaurant at the recommendation of a coworker. Being new to the area, I appreciate all restaurant recommendations. But this one really hit it out of the park. I took a friend here who was visiting from out of town. We got the prime rib special. In hindsight, we should have gotten one prime rib and one tenderloin or porterhouse and split them. But the steak was excellent, the salad was very good, and the sides we ordered were terrific. The service was top-notch with the exception of the check-in. We arrived 40 minutes earlier than our reservation and were told we would have to wait. The restaurant was almost empty, as they were just opening for the day. I looked at the hostess in the confusion and the manager who was standing right next to her looked over and said oh it's no problem, we can seat you now.

The food was good, but for the price paid I would have expected much better. My son took us there for our 50th anniversary. My husband had seen it listed as one of the top Supper Clubs in the state. I knew it would be pricey but expected the quality to justify the price; not the case. I had the Braised Beef Shank "special"... nothing special about it! I could have prepared a cheap beef roast in a slow cooker and achieved as good of flavor. It was a 20 oz. cut of which at least a third was fat and grizzle...essentially, even after trimming off the fat I could see, with almost every fork full I was spitting out fat and/or grizzle.... for a price of $55 this did not impress me! For our party of six, which included two children, the bill with tip was almost $600 and that only included six alcoholic drinks. I can think of many a fine dining restaurant where we could have enjoyed better for
much less!

This is one of my favorite steak houses / supper clubs in the Milwaukee area. I have been coming here for over 20 years and not once have I ever been disappointed with any aspect of the experience. I bring out of town guests here and celebrate special occasions with loved ones and sometimes just to s to stop in for a great meal. From sitting at the bar to order your meal to having the server carry you drinks to the table the entire experience is so classy and a throwback to the kind of hospitality I witnessed growing up in the 1970's in northern Wisconsin as well as here in Milwaukee. The service is outstanding and the food impeccably prepared. I even occasionally will order dessert which I almost never do when dining out. Hopefully the owners of this amazing restaurant will continue to keep Five O'Clock ticking for many years to come.

Today was less great than our last visit. Party of 10 and 2 had bad steak experiences, including the guest of honor. They gave us a 1/2 credit on those two for goodwill. This place really needs some updates, especially the bathrooms, I understand the rest of the time warp decor is part of the experience. Does anyone actually eat the relish tray? Softer butter would spread better on bread. Unlikely to return soon, but last experience was much better so not willing to write this place off completely.

I Took my dad his birthday and he loved everything. Will definitely be back. Food and drinks were great. Service was outstanding. From the bartending experience to our server Stephanie who had great recommendations and very attentive. I really appreciated that other staff including manager engaged at our table to make sure everything was great.
Barbara Mork
Old school atmosphere but top notch steaks & service. Order at the bar & head to the table when family style salad & relish tray is served. Bring your wallet but you won't be disappointed. Worth every penny!

On the bucket list forever, finally it made it out. I liked the old school ambiance, special seating and bar service while your table was prepared added a nice touch. Both steaks we had were amazingly good. Loved the lobster Mac and cheese as well that was phenomenal.

Anyone who has written a bad review for this place either couldn't afford it or has no idea what good food actually is. As someone who has eaten at many "fine dining" establishments, I can, in all honesty say I have been completely blown away by the level of service and quality of food here. The service (from the valet, host, door man, bar, wait staff, and live musician) has completely impressed me along with every single person who I've dined here with. We've now celebrated 2 40th birthday dinners here and it was worth every. single. penny spent. I believe our waitress's name this time was Caitlin, and she was the most lovely, accommodating person I've yet to encounter in the service industry. Everything was perfect, from start to finish. Thank you Five O'Clock Steakhouse. We will be back at every opportunity we can afford. You will never find a more delicious or more hospitable dining experience anywhere else.
Loretta Gonzales
We had a lovely time (party of 5). The staff was attentive and accommodating. The food and wine were excellent. The vibe is Dean Martin Rat Pack with live jazz musicians. There wasn't a specific dress code and they made you feel like they were happy to see you.
Marcela Trinidad
Never disappoints. Always excellent. Thank you 5’ o’clock Steakhouse. I love you

Five o’clock is the best restaurant in Milwaukee right now, hands down. With staff shortages and turnover, it seems every other restaurant is struggling to provide the basics. Five o’clock has consistently impressed during the past two years with excellent service, incredible meals, and attention to detail. My husband and I visited Saturday and, as usual, everything was exceptional. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Food was nothing to remember to me personally . I ordered “Medium plus “ and the steak came out literally burnt . I was so hungry I did not send it back but for $67 just for the steak alone I feel as though it should have been one of the best steaks I’ve ever had, I don’t feel a need to come back here . The sides we ordered mash potatoes and asparagus were basic. And tasted like how I cook those items at home goring special . My least favorite part was them wrapping up the food and literally slopping a dish of asparagus and my steak into a plastic bag like it was scrap food I was about to feed my dog. For a $250 bill you guys should include proper take out packages

In Milwaukee for a golf outing abd decided to go to a steakhouse! What a great experience we had here! Great atmosphere and service and a lot of food. The owner stopped by and said hello, and then sent us a complimentary dessert platter. Old school vibes and great food!!
Deborah Bradford
I had one of the best dirty Titos martinis I ever had, made by Wally. The steaks are always great. Unfortunately, our whole experience was dampened by our waitress, who seemed determined to get us out of there as soon as possible. We felt rushed from the bar through dessert. For the $250 we paid for dinner, it was slightly disturbing.
Levetter Henderson (Vida)
The service and food were on point. I had the Alaskan King Crabs which were delicious for the most part but some of them were a little dry. The porterhouse steak was perfect and the crab mac and cheese was so delicious. There was also live Jazz. I highly recommend this quaint little restaurant.
michael bunda
Hands down one of the best if not the best steak I have ever had. The asparagus was absolutely phenomenal and the green beans almondine was spectacular. The bread was fantastic and the salad dressings were top notch.
Lynda Citro
Absolutely the best food and service. If you are celebrating a special occasion you must come here!
Brewcity Arrma Lover
Had an amazing experience for my first time ever here. We were treated like family. Everyone greeted us and were there to assist us with anything that we needed. Definitely recommend this upscale place! We’ll worth my $175 bill. Betsy was the best!
Mike Miller
Place is top notch! Steaks are amazing and the whole vibe is incredible. Always feel welcome here. Do yourself a favor and stop in and have a fabulous dinner. Owner is a great guy too!
Darian
Our server Alonzo was great! We ordered wine with our meal and at no point were our glasses even close to empty until the bottle was empty. The filet mignon was perfectly medium rare as requested, and the ribs were so tender I could've eaten them without teeth. Altogether an awesome experience and we WILL be back!
Linda Pelletier
Incredible food, wonderful service, great atmosphere. Love you, Stefanie! (I think that's how she spells it, not the conventional spelling).
The entire staff was terrific, and we loved their Valet parking. I cannot wait to return to this special place where I just had the best filet that I've ever had.
Donna Strain
Awesome atmosphere, awesome cocktails, shrimp cocktail unbelievably tasty and the steaks were indescribably delish! The 5 hour drive to get there was totally worth it!
Sooya xyooj
My favorite place to go for steak. They're the best! From the food and service.
Monica Maz
My husband and I had the best steak ever. Big portions, the salad and bread were amazing, the steak cooked to perfection, the calamari was the best I have ever had. Crème brûlée and key Lima pie were wow! Our waiter, Eric was so kind, knowledgeable, wonderful! Amazing guy. Thank you for making my birthday special.
Crystal Mariza Bucio
Had dinner with a party of 5 people with a reservation at 8pm for a birthday. We used their valet parking (they don't accept Kia or Honda vehicles for liability purposes), which was great! I really enjoyed the true supper club feel, as we had drinks at the bar and ordered while we enjoyed drinks.
The menu is simple, with lots of great options. I opted for the new york strip and crab mac and cheese. I ordered the steak "Oscar Style" which means they add crab meat, bearnaise sauce and asparagus to the steak, along with their au jus and mushrooms. Bread and salad are served family style along with a relish tray. For dessert, we had cheesecake with strawberries and the key lime pie, which were both delicious!
The restaurant is cozy but tables are very well spaced apart. Our server was fantastic and our food was perfect! The prices may seem a little steep to some, but the amount of food as well as the quality is well worth it. I look forward to coming back soon!
Kristina Janik
Today (Christmas Eve) was the first time eating here and everything was wonderful. Eric was our server and was knowledgeable, friendly, and very attentive. All the food was delicious and cooked to perfection.
Jeffrey Svarverud
Simply Outstanding!! The tradition of the supper club is alive and well at this restaurant. Valet parking is free. The steaks are truly outstanding. The scallops were awesome. Service was awesome. We were truly impressed.
Richard Bowman
It is perpetually Christmas here. The food is amazing and both the manager and our waitress remembered us from 8 months ago. I'm not rich so I can't come often, but for me and my partner it's an every birthday and anniversary choice.
Mark Sears Sr.
place has nice Ambiance, steaks were delicious, had the Thai buffalo shrimp. They were delicious and HUGE! We had a party of six and everyone enjoyed their meal! The service was great also!
Russ Darrow
I hadn't been for a couple years. Went to celebrate brother's Birthday. I will definitely be back much sooner than the last time. Steak, sides, and service were fantastic.
Tina Peterson
My husband took me here for my 52nd Birthday. We enjoyed the old style supper club atmosphere. Our waitress (Crystal) explained everything to us as we had never been there before. Our food was AMAZING. We each had the 16 oz filet it was cooked to perfection and melted in our mouths. The sides are definitely enough for 2-3 people. We took lots of food home. Crystal brought out a piece of cake with a candle as a birthday treat. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely go back again and even ask to be seated in Crystal's section. She was an amazing waitress.
Ernesto N
I've been here two times and each time the food was great! The relishes they bring out are very tasty and the bread is so so good. But of course, the star of the evening is the steak. So tender and juicy! Huge but I had to eat all of it. Every time I visit Milwaukee, I have to go here. It's not in the downtown area, but even so, it really does get packed here.
You need a reservation as they do not take walk ins. A local resident told me about this place and how tourists really don't go here but it's the best steak in town. I'd have to agree! I'm glad he told me about it.
Their sidecar is really delicious, just sweet enough!
Highly recommended!!
NORH ROBINSON III
Everything was great from our valet to our dinner !!!
Please note that this is a reservation only restaurant!!
The ambience is great everyone was friendly!!
The food was outstanding!! We’re definitely visit again next time we travel up I-90/94 from chi-town!! Definitely a must visit when you come to Milwaukee.
**side note .....big kudos to the manager!!! He let me and my wife get seated after I explained to him that I tried to make a reservation online and couldn’t do it so we decided to come anyway. I explained to him that it was our anniversary (10/5/19)and heard great things about this place. He found us a small table upstairs that was very cozy!!! AWESOME GUY!!!
Christopher Frometa
The dining experience was perfect. We had a very large group and were taken care of by two waiters. We ordered an assortment of appetizers, steaks and desserts. Everything came out on time and too perfection. A must dining experience when visiting Milwaukee!
Ann Sheridan
To be honest I was hoping it wasn't going to be all that great....but....it was!. Stellar service by all teams, bartenders, wait staff, on floor Mgr, etc. They cared and it showed! Cleanliness was top notch! Personal protection was great! It still feels odd to be surrounded by walls of clear plastic but were getting used to it! I was surprised how many people were there, but it was actually so nice to hear the buzz of everyone enjoying themselves instead of dead silence at most restaurants lately.
We came here to celebrate my honeys bday and they did not disappoint us at all!
Amazing cold salad, relish trays, real butter and honey for fresh baguette bread and we tried the bacon sticks! Omg! Amazing!
Now ...the steak...I enjoyed the filet.. no savored it actually! It was melt in your mouth perfect! The method of the 1800 degree searing process is so different. Hubby has the 32 oz porterhouse....he had to admit best steak he's ever had hands down!
We complimented everyone, and finished off with a bday treat of their own made from scratch key lime pie....it was as if I was in Keywest again! The best ever!
Great job to this group of people who truly went out of their way to make our evening extra special.. we can't say enough! Keep doing what you are doing....its working for you!
Looking forward to our leftovers for morning steak and eggs already! Thanks again!
Richard Kober
My parents took me out here for my birthday dinner. The entire experience was perfect from start to finish. The ambiance, food and service we're all fantastic. The porterhouse was one of the 5 best steaks I've ever had, and the old fashion cocktails we're authentic and well made. I can't wait until my next trip.
Noor Al
Was there for pre-thanksgiving dinner, great vibes, steaks were awesome and good appetizers and side dishes. Loved the fried calamari, old fashion was perfect and the crab mac & cheese
Jim Gamauf
This place is amazing, awesome steaks, apps and desserts all with great service. The vibe is a old school supper club, wood and mirror walls, feels like a flash back to the 1960's, definitely recommend!
David Mycon
I have to say I was really disappointed. I heard very good reviews but left feeling like we overpaid....We had bacon app which was ok, had half rack of ribs which were tough and sauce tasted like canned tomatoe puree, runny mashed potatoes that may or may not have come from a box. I had a 16-oz filet, which was cooked perfectly and delicious. However, my wife ordered the bone-in ribeye, which came overcooked and dry. Good bourbon selection but overpriced, in some cases charging over what half the bottle costs for a 2oz pour. The service was good and the atmosphere very casual as we were upstairs. Just disappointed in the food and left feeling like we overpaid.

Great wine selection, amazing proportions, attentive service. A great selection of cocktails and after dinner drinks, too. Can't wait to come back
GREGORY DORSEY
This is my spot for steak. I love this place. They have it all. Atmosphere, service, excellent food, drinks, variety. Simply the best.
John Kraynov
The food is really good and the prices are expensive but it's good quality food a must visit place. The seating is nice because when you come in they seat you at the "bar" area while you wait for your official table. We were there in a Friday night and waited about 20-30min for a group of 7 people which I think is reasonable for a Friday night. I ordered a rib eye steak and it was juicy and delicious.
Veronica R.
My whole experience here was amazing my dad also loved his birthday tiramisu. They did an wonderful job in the kitchen. My steak was cooked to perfection (medium rare) the staff, bartender was all pretty awesome.
Jan Fletcher
Very small for the number of people in the place. Had reservations, still waited over 15 minutes. Rude waitress. Loudest restaurant i have ever been to. Steak was mediocre at best. Will never go here again.
Mike Holmes
Had a wonderful dining experience on Friday 4/22/2022. Our server Crystal was impeccable and gave awesome recommendations on the bone in ribeye, the Crab Mac and special Makers Mark cocktail of the night. Everything was so great! It was a classic experience that still holds up in the 21st century! Such amazing atmosphere here which only time and tradition can produce. Ordered my porterhouse medium rare and it was prepared PERFECTLY!!! Everything was amazing. I've been to first class steak houses all over the country, and this is my new favorite!
Michael Wroblewski
One of the best places that ive gone to get a steak. Wally makes a great old fashion, our waitress was amazing, cook did great whats to expect? Always a great dining experience at 5 O'clock steak house. Just a well oiled machine! Had a great time celebrating my gf's bday.
Pro Drains
Amazing steak! Tons of flavor cooked to perfection. With a side of mashed potatoes you can't beat it. I've been to million high end steak houses and this is top of my list

Everything was great from service to food. Praying that they add space to what the already have, but over all it's definitely a plus in my book! I will definitely be returning ☺️

Classic old school supper club. The food was fantastic...probably ruin all other steaks for the rest of my life. Service was top notch.

Awesome place with Exceptional Customer Service. Unique, Classy Atmosphere. My husband and I went for my birthday last year and its been our favorite restaurant ever since! Even though we couldn't decide our favorite dish because Everything tastes great, I love the Crab Legs and my husband love the Porter House Steak.
Peter Panos
Patron for years. 2 things to know (these things have always been and hopefully will never change!):
1. Sit at the bar and have a drink - they will introduce server & take your order at the bar in order to get things moving. I love this: Smart. Efficient.
2. Steaks are cooked blackened with special char sauce and will play that beautiful charred meat song if you scrape your knife against it(if you know, you know!). If you don't like wonderfully charred tasting food, go somewhere else for your steak where they cook it in a plastic bag submersed in water or something.
aaand one suggestion:
3. Get the caramelized bacon and a dirty martini to go with your meal!

The prime rib was defined it melted like butter in my mouth. The mashed potatoes tasted like old fashioned grandmother's mashed potatoes. The salad was Super Fresh with the homemade blue cheese dressing.
Melissa Kurtz
This is a wonderful restaurant. Everything was delicious, drinks, steaks, and dessert! The atmosphere was lively and the wait staff friendly. Highly recommend for a night out.
Jon VanKauwenberg
Service was great..overall good experience. Not a huge fan of blackened steaks but knew what I was getting into before I went. Food was great quality...staff was accommodating and friendly.
Stephen W
Great place to eat.
It’s a traditional supper club, you go into the bar, order your food, and then it comes to the table after you’re seated.
Many great steaks to choose from, a little on the pricey side, but worth every cent.
All steaks come in an Au Jus sauce with button mushrooms.
Catherine K
Everything was done to perfection! Charming atmosphere and very attentive service. Loved the sourdough bread (definitely try it with the butter & honey), fresh relish tray, and salad with their homemade dressings. The filet mignon was cooked exactly as ordered and topped with savory button mushrooms. The restaurant even helped us celebrate our anniversary with a complimentary dessert. I am thankful supper clubs like this are still here in Milwaukee. Great job Five O'Clock Steakhouse!
Tim Weinberg
Top five in the state, the atmosphere is right out of the fifties. Josh our server was very attentive, and helpful to our questions. The steaks were melt in your mouth great. Next time in Milwaukee,we will be back
ellery kretlow
Best steak in the world 🌎, awesome drinks. If you want a great evening this is the place.
Thank you for another wonderful night 🌙
Mandy Prengaman
Excellent food, great old time supper club ambience. Very busy on the weekends, you MUST have a reservation. Excellent service.
Noah Bisel
Easily the best steak I've had in my life, and I come from KC where good meat is what we do. The atmosphere and experience were all top notch, and the waitstaff was extremely friendly. I also thought it was reasonably priced for the food and experience! Will definitely be coming back when I'm in town!
Maureen Orender
I had the Jumbo Shrimp Scampi and it was delicious. The bartender was delightful and our server was wonderful. Awesome experience. Highly recommend.
Jeremy Hannah
I have to give 5 stars. Best steak I ever had. Service was awesome. Our bill was $2100. So bring your check book. It all worth it. Picture shown is a 21oz NY Strip. FYI. There is no well done steaks here. They simply do not make steak that way. You can get what's called medium plus or they will butterfly the NY Strip if you want less rare. Simply put it will be some pinkish redish in the middle of whatever steak u get. Also it's a small place pretty tight quarters.
郑诗琨
Great service and high quality steaks
Russ
Great place! Very nice dinner experience from the house salad & choice of up to 6 dressing, old school pickled vegetables and then my medium 21oz ribeye was phenomenal!!
Sarah Whiting
Great experience!! Fabulous martini! Delicious food. Excellent service will most definitely be back.
Adam Girgenti
Stopped by on a recommendation while on a trip in Wisconsin. Great steak and great service. Definitely make it a point to stop by if you are in the area!
Richie Dz
Hands down, best steak in Milwaukee area! Had great service as well. Will return again for sure!
Allen Zwieg
Amazing steaks and drinks. Old fashioned supper club atmosphere. Definitely a place to add to the bucket list!
Pat Kenny
It's my go to steak restaurant best filet I have ever had . It's a classic Wisconsin supper club .
mike wong
Great old school atmosphere and best steaks in town and attentive service!
Tara Krejcarek
The food and service was phenomenal per usual. Crystal was the best waitress ever! Bonus Gabriel Sanchez was playing
Pamela Walensa
Special place for my husband and I to go. Usually for our anniversary or birthdays. The steaks are just melt in your mouth tender and like nothing we've had anywhere else. Perfectly seasoned and grilled to your liking. Quaint and cozy atmosphere with a 60's decor and wonderful old songs playing for your enjoyment. Our waitress, Suzanne, was really a pleasure. Very efficient and attentive. Will definitely ask for her again.
Stephanie Broussard
My husband and I went last night for his birthday dinner as we had heard wonderful reviews. I am a huge steak lover and was NOT disappointed. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our waiter Eric was extremely knowledgeable, polite and welcoming. He truly made the experience something that we will definitely be back for! We were seated in the upstairs and we loved the intimacy that we felt as well as being able to watch a black and white film.
Tina Schmidt
Great place to dine. My daughter got engaged that night and the staff went above and beyond to make it perfect
Corriyarns
Great supper club vibes. Stephanie was amazing and took very good care of us. The steak was perfectly done and the sides were very tasty! We were given a slice of key lime pie for our anniversary and took a cheesecake slice home, both were awesome and a great ending to a great night!
Steve
Great perfectly cooked steak and amazing ribs. Good service and nice atmosphere. It is not cheap but it is worth every penny. There was a live band playing when we were there on Friday night. I am not sure if that is a everyday thing or if we just got lucky
Devan Gomez
Living up to its culinary accolades, the steak here is flawless and so is just about everything else served here. Glorious old school supper club ambience adds to the authenticity. You can smell the decadence from across the street. A Milwaukeean must-do.
matt huffman
Staff was friendly. Place was packed, but seemed jovial, no one was upset with it. The timing of some of our food coming out was off. We noticed several tables around us seating after us and eventually leaving after their meal was completed while we were still waiting. Had my first Tomahawk ribeye, while cooked 80% perfect the seasoning was bland. The au jus was too watered. The bacon sticks and the buffalo Thai shrimp are great. The relish plate and salad were great touches. Would go back, but would try a different steak. Big shout out to the valet team!
Paul Zwicker
The steak was delicious and definitely the focus. I wish the sides had had some more flavor (mashed potatoes, asparagus) but it’s old-fashioned and again, the focus is the steak. Drinks were classic and great. Just a really cool experience.
Maddie Brown
Caitlin was our server and she did a fantastic job. We both thoroughly enjoyed our experience while we were there she did a wonderful job of making sure that we had everything we needed and gave suggestions as needed. She was so friendly and patient while we made up our minds. It was such a friendly environment and we really enjoyed our time there. The food was excellent! Everything came out very timely and cooked so well. We would definitely go back again! Highly recommend!
Common Sense
The Porterhouse was a decent size 28oz. Next time I will ask for dry aged. The menu is somewhat limited as far as seafood. The ambiance is great and the bar tender mixes a nice Dirty Martini. If or when I return I'll try the Ribeye.
Crystal Hernandez
Well of course they’re known for their steaks. Do not come here if you want a well done steakhouse. From start to finish this place was a 10/10! As we order drinks they took our order at the bar so by the time we had a good drink our table was ready to start eating salad then few mins later our dinner then dessert! Can’t wait for a date night this will be my pick!
chris zylka
Great place , excellent service, steaks were mouthwatering, drinks solid.
Michael Boroczk
My first time ever eating at the Five o clock and I had a great experience from start to finish everything was perfection are waitresses was on top of her game
Ericka Evans
Visited for a birthday dinner. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Food was very good. Crab macaroni and cheese was delicious. Very big portions! I will definitely dine again.
Alex James
This is my absolute favorite place! I love the food, ambience and the service is EXCEPTIONAL!! It doesn't matter when I go, the service is outstanding and the food is always delicious!!

Jessica Jacobs
I am going to make a pretty serious claim here: this restaurant serves the best steak IN THE WORLD. It's cooked in a special charcoal oven that chars the outside and leaves the inside perfectly rare. The owners are super friendly and will always remember your name. Must-haves from their menu: the kings cut, crab mac & cheese, baked potato, asparagus, key lime pie.
Michael Porter
The best shrimp i have ever had! 5 Star customer service. The bacon wrapped steak with blue cheese was absolutely amazing. A great dining experience in Milwaukee.
darlene o'laughlin
Best steak I've ever had!
Paul Lasswell
Great drinks, excellent steak, very good service with a fun century club atmosphere. Be warned, though, the portions are HUGE. I ordered a strip steak and they just about brought me the whole damn cow.
Ryan Allen
Great vibes in this old school steakhouse. Steaks were cooked perfect and delicious. Quiet live music while I was there and it was very nice. 10/10
Laekin Frailing
The only place I’ll go for special occasions! Best supper club in the greater Milwaukee area.
Cory Sebastian
We dine out very often. A great steakhouse is always a go-to for us. I am extremely disappointed in myself, as a diner, that it has been so long since I have been here.
By far one of the best experiences I have had out in ages. Not only was the dinner excellent, the service and pace was exactly what we hope for and barely receive.
They had everything in stock- which is rare these days- and appeared to be well staffed and busy- and I feel as though anyone with Covid concerns would feel safe there as well.
Impressive. Cancel your other downtown Milwaukee reservations and make it here.
Peter Morris
The 5 O'clock club is truly a gem of Milwaukee dining. The food and atmosphere are second to none, and neither have changed for decades.
The supper club experience is hard to come by these days, but stepping into the 5 O'clock club is akin to stepping into the 1950s (or so I'm told).
The steaks are the best I have ever had in my life.
The staff is equally as impressive, and make every guest feel at home. The owner of the restaurant (Stelio) even came by to say hello and make sure the meal was fantastic - it was. We also had a server named John who shared some great stories and made the experience that much better.
We will be back, and soon!
Cesar Martinez
My girlfriend and I came here for our 2nd anniversary. We love a good steak and were not disappointed at all! We both ordered the porterhouse steak with the asparagus and mashed potatoes. We had Josh as our server and he was fast, attentive, and knowledgeable when it came to the menu. I will definitely be back.
Elmar Scaife
Pricey but well worth it. The bone-in ribeye was perfect!
Mark Kranski
Five O'Clock Club is our favorite restaurant for steak and seafood, customer service is impeccable. If you want one of the best steaks in the country you have it right here in Milwaukee!
Kerry Cook
The food? If you know, you know. Seriously, the best steaks anywhere, but I’m here to talk service. We had 6:00 reservations on a Friday for 4. Our friends are from out of town and went to the wrong place. I was so sure we would lose our reservation and they would say, “better luck next time,” but instead they found space for us at the bar, accommodated our wait, never made us feel rushed. Amazing! Our waitress, Joanie, made us feel welcome and special when she was probably a bit annoyed by the situation. What a great place. Just go there.
Mike Meinolf
Amazing service and food. Atmosphere is top notch. My new favorite!
Jeff S.
Fantastic atmosphere. Amazing food. Would be 5 star but needs some thing on the menu that are not $50+
Deuel A
Wow ! Excellent place ! Very nice and clean ! Well worth the price ! Cozy and friendly!
Loretta Young
Appetizer was Alaskan King Crab Legs.
Entree..Prime Rib, Hickory Smoked Ribs, Lobster Mac n Cheese with tossed garden salad. The meal was exceptional and the service delightful!
Jared O'Brien
Good food. Thought it was pretty expensive for what you got. Food was good but not amazing. Friends got lobster that was two pretty small tails for $90. Steak was huge. Guess lobsters was only negative.
Brian Pritzl
Classic 50s supper club environment (legit) with fantastic service and food (which comes with the corresponding price tag so be prepared). Their steaks are the specialty (of course) and I cannot say that I have ever had better. Aged 30 days and charbroiled with a char sauce. Portions are enormous and served family-style so bring a group so you can split. All the servers there were very friendly and helpful -- you felt like they actually enjoyed their work. We will go back for sure.
Mani Towoc
One of the best steaks in town. Bone-in fillet and Ribeye both were stellar! Relish tray was great and the service was top notch. Only downside is how loud it is in the restaurant. Even at 6pm you could not even hear the Sinatra music. They need more sound dampening. Don't come here with a large group and expect to hear people on the other side of the table. Old Fashioneds were a bit weak. Will be back!
Kimberley Fraser
Made a reservation and was able to be seated outside immediately. We were greeted by our server shortly after and she was very kind and knowledgeable. Automatically received bread, salad and a tray of veggies (can’t think of the name, whoops). All of that was amazing. We ordered a half rack ribs for an appetizer and it came out quickly. SO GOOD!! My boyfriend liked this even more than the steaks. After that we each ordered a steak and we shared a side of mashed potatoes. Portions were very generous! My steak was over done but they quickly brought a brand new steak perfectly. Everything was insanely delicious and service was great. I would advice asking about the patio if the inside is packed. There was no one out there when we were sat and through our whole meal! Will definitely be back :)
Barb R
Our group went to dinner to celebrate a birthday and informed the staff upon arrival. At the end of the meal they forgot about the dessert and when they brought it they went to the wrong table.
Overall the prime rib was delicious, but the side items and the service were lacking.
At one point we had to go up to the bar and get our own drinks. When we asked for more bread we never received it. They packed the food in front of you and I was appalled to see that they wrapped it in plastic bags. When we got home and looked at our leftovers this what it looked like. Putting mashed potatoes in a plastic bags is so unappetizing.
For a $400 bill I expected better service during the meal and with the packaging of our take home food.
Adele Rauen
Excellent food excellent service a nice place for a special event dinner.
Jay S
Fantastic meal. Bring your appetite because portions are not small! The way they do their steaks is great. If you like crab cakes get ready for the biggest ones you've ever seen - and they're pretty much all crab. We'll be back.
John Arneson
Always, amazing meals and service! Such a pleasure to dine here in the supper club atmosphere. A great place to get away from it all and treat yourselves! Enjoy!!
Anthony Rouse
This please is super cool. Old school as hell but that makes it even better. We went there Friday November 5th for the first time. The food was fantastic! Waiter was Christian and did a great job. The manager John Orlowski was making constant trips around the dining room, bringing water and making sure everyone was happy. For sure give it a shot! we will be back.
Curtis Smith
Had a family dine out at the 5 0'clock steakhouse in Milwaukee last Saturday. It was a great dining experience. Steaks are the best you may ever eat, just the best. Our server was Ryan and he was fantastic. I highly recommend this establishment.
Ashley Harrington
Everything was so delicious, it had the quintessential Wisconsin supper club feel. My party was seated upstairs in the alley cat lounge, where they were playing “The breakfast club”, it has such a great vibe. The service was amazing. The steaks were perfectly cooked, accompaniments well done and the cocktails were wonderful. Highly recommend.
Patrick Carroll
Had a wonderful time at the 5 O'clock steakhouse last Saturday. My girlfriend and I went there to celebrate Christmas together. We were greeted and promptly sat right behind the host stand. Our server, Josh, was fantastic and knowledgable about everything on the menu. He gave us a great personal experience and his recommendations. We started the meal with shrimp cocktail and the normal supper club goodies of bread, crudite and bread sticks. For the entrees, I had the 21 oz NY strip and my girlfriend got the 8 oz filet. Both steaks were cooked to perfection with seared crust from the broilers on both steaks. We paired it with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. For dessert we did cherries jubilee which I've always wanted to try. I'm gonna stay the Giannis level star of the night were the steaks but the Bobby Portis would be the cherries jubilee. Check this place out if you are looking for a 10/10 classic supper club steak house. Only thing I would change was being seated behind the host stand. Nothing we could do on a busy Saturday and it didn't detract from the experience, but if you are looking for a more romantic part of the restaurant I would try and see if you can be placed elsewhere.
Anthony A
Wonderful experience. World class old time restaurant. I’m a regular here and the food is consistently good. On our most recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised that the hostess recognized me and used my name.
Steaks were cooked perfectly as requested and they tasted amazing. Mashed potatoes lacked seasoning but they are a new item to the menu and I’ll give them a pass on that one. Salads and bread were plentiful and we were offered refills. Service was good but could have been a little more attentive. Restaurant wasn’t that busy and we waited longer than expected for items we requested. Still a great place across the board and we will keep coming back for more!
Jeff Nicolai
Great experience ,food was out of this world , steak was exactly what I ordered, drinks were fanatics ,try the bacon
Klobnitrones K
Came in for a reservation at 8:15 not seeing they closed at 8:30 but the still provided great service and impeccable food! 100% will go back to hopefully a bit earlier for the poor workers!
Kaitlyn Mcray
Scallop special was amazing. Ribeye cap special by far blew us away. Chocolate toffee cake stellar. Christmas decor in may was a bit odd. Also dissent like how they were vacuuming as we were eating our steak still. Other than that was fantastic. Alexis was our server and she was so friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be coming back
Megalin S
Always amazing. Steaks always perfect!! The firey ice cream with the house made sauce....incredible!
Chris Hammerbeck
I have recently been frequenting this restaurant over the last few months. Service has been excellent, John the manager goes above and beyond to make sure everything is right, Dona in the lounge area is super friendly and Crystal our regular waitress makes every visit a fun and excellent time! I highly recomend this place for steaks! Tried quite a few other boujee steak places in the Milwaukee area....meh to most of them. Five O'Clock is where it's at! Looking forward to more visits in the near future. Thanks everyone!
Peter Braun
Old style supper club. Upscale prices. Delicious food.
Jacqueline Moore
We were in town from Chicago celebrating my sister & brother in-law anniversary. Like the reviews says, at first we were concerned about location but couple blocks from restaurant the scenery changes and appears safer. There was valet parking. The place could use a little updating but it was clean. Sort of like old fashion speak easy. The warm & cold salad was really good. We had filet mignon, ribs & pork chops which were really good. We also had bake potatoes big fluffy, creamy cooked perfectly and shrimp& drinks. We were impressed with how great the food was. The smell in the restaurant was enough to make you ravenous. The service was excellent & the staff friendly. If you are visiting the casino its worth the 10 minute drive.
Shauna Pooh
My daughter treated my husband & me to a night out to celebrate our 20th anniversary. What can I say? Hospitality...awesome. Service...outstanding. Food impeccably amazing 😊 The crab mac-n-cheese, filet mignon, etc mmmhmm.
WE WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING!!!
James Queen
Steaks were amazing. 3 of us had the Filet and 1 had the Porterhouse. Cooked to perfection. We ordered the Bacon Sticks which were everything & more. And some Asparagus because my Daughter insisted on 1 thing green on the plate lol. First time there and I can say I've never had a better Filet Mignon.
And last but certainly not least, the service was great. From our server Alexis to others who stopped by our table to see how our evening was going.
Jill Filut
Highly recommend this restaurant. Zaede our server was fantastic as well as the food. We will definitely be back.
Patrick Pitre
TL:DR - very good food and service, throw back atmosphere.
Came in with my wife and two friends on a Saturday night. Reservations were for 7 and we got there early, bar was packed but we're able to snag a table and have drinks. Bar chairs weren't that comfortable to me, but that's probably due to me being a bigger guy. didn't get seated until 7:40, though we really didn't notice the time go by until we sat down to eat. You order at the bar before you sit. Traditional supper club, good food and a throwback atmosphere. Salad and relish tray are provided for the table and you pick your dressings. Was a bit disappointed that there wasn't a caeser salad option. we had a cheese plate for an appetizer which was very good. Had the rib eye, which was cooked to a perfect temp. The steak came out very charred, but you couldn't taste the char at all, which was amazing. Very juicy steak with good flavor. Steak was wet aged and the au ju (basting sauce I think the waiter called it) had really good flavor but should have gotten it on the side as there was a lot and made cutting the steak dangerous for a guy in a white shirt. Sides were family style and my wife and I split a baked potato that could have fed Ireland during the famine. The french onion soup cream was awesome. Closed the dinner with coffee and some carrot cake, both very good.
Overall, a great dining experience, especially if you like the throwback to a supper club. Price for value and amount of food is great and our service was very good too. Owner was walking around greeting the guests and making sure everything was on par, which I really appreciate. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and offered great suggestions both based on value and taste. Would definitely return, a great steakhouse option in a city with a couple of great steakhouses.
Joe F.
Not really sure what the hype is here, the service definitely deserves all the stars as they make the meal, not necessarily the food. True supper club experience thought which is great. Crab seemed frozen and over-cooked and the porterhouse was sitting in about a cup of added a jus, not needed.
S B
Had dinner here last night and the food was second to none, as we are all aware. I'd like to comment on our server Crystal. You knew she genuinely cared about her guests just by her smile and attentiveness. Crystal made our dining experience second to none. I highly recommend requesting her as your server.
Glenn Gaskill
The steak was delicious! I could not have asked for a better cook on my 16 oz filet mignon, ditto for my wife's bone-in filet mignon. I enjoyed the atmosphere upstairs and really enjoyed our server Eric who was attentive without being in your face and willing to hang around as long as we did. The 5 stars is truly for the steaks we had.
That being said, the brandy old fashioned I had was incredibly disappointing. When I saw they had used the typical hot pink maraschino cherries it didn't bode well. An old fashion with Luxardo cherries is the way to go, dark red cherries as well as the syrup they're in. On the other hand my wife and someone else with us had moscow mules and thoroughly enjoyed them.
The appetizer, calamari, and sides were fine, but just that fine. The dessert we had, creme brule, was again very disappointing as it was really just vanilla pudding with a hard sugar crust as opoosed to an egg custard (apparently american style v. french and when it comes to the dessert our preference is definitely the french style).
I still give them 5 stars because the steak was truly that good. Also had a very nice bottle of wine with dinner.
Mark Lambrecht
Really great steak done perfectly with great service. My wife and I celebrated our 31st anniversary here recently and had a wonderful time. Perfectly cooked with a delicious coating and au jus. Great time meeting owner too.
Dani Koehler
It's everything a Wisconsin supper club should be: having huge portions of insanely delicious meat in a space that reminds you of your (super cool) grandparents' basement in the 60s.
Steven Turner
Kinda 70's atmosphere where manager visits each table talking to the patrons. Steak is always great, our waitress was Crystal very good, voice sounds a little like peppermint patty from the Peanuts. We hadn't been out to eat in a year. It was our Anniversary we had plenty to eat good drinks and a great time.
Timothy Lapp
Probably the best steaks we have ever had.
Andrew David Greer
Very good steakhouse. The staff is exceptional.
Hope Headley
Keria was cheerful nice professional waitress who made the dinner enjoyable. Tomauk steak delicious and 50 dollar fish fry lobster very good. Potato pancake was burnt. Brandy Alexander for starters was incredible. Bacon fi ger good more like smoked ham belly.
Tim Viduski-Sauer
Great steakhouse; free valet, live music, classic style, and great food.
Laura Trick
My food tasted great! We had 6 people in our party, downstairs dining was full, so we were seated upstairs. We waited quite a while for our first round of drinks, so we ended up going downstairs to the bar to order, which we did at least 2x after that. Our server was able to bring us only one round of drinks. My husband got an ice cold steak, so the server took it back to fix it. He received it back about 2 minutes later, with only the very top warmed. At that point, we realized that he had the wrong steak, but with the way service was that night we were afraid to send it back again. For the money we spent and service we received, not sure how soon we will be back.
Dawn Spencer
It’s an experience!! You walk into an amazing time warp! Mid-century at it’s finest. I love how they sit you at the bar when you first get there. You order your drinks and enjoy your company. Then your server greets you with a menu and you place your order at the bar. They set up your table and direct you to your table when it’s ready. The steak is phenomenal!!! Maybe the best I’ve ever had. Sides are shareable. Service is great! And the live music upstairs on those nights when it’s being offered is perfection. Makes for the perfect night.
Dan LaBonty
Dynamite food all around. Steaks are about the best you will find anywhere. Salads are perfect. Fresh crispy veggies and great dressings. Try the peppercorn parm ranch. I guarantee you won't find better french onion soup. My friends swear by there old fashion drinks ( hand muddled) and there old fashion drink snobs.
Bill Reed
My wife and I have eaten here five or six times in the last couple of years and the food and service have always been excellent. If there's a better steak to be had in the greater Milwaukee area, I have yet to find it. My only complaint has to do with the cost of mixed drinks. I ordered a Vodka Tonic, just with "house" vodka and it was $11. The drink was good but small with a lot of ice. That's excessive, even for a high end restaurant, in my opinion.
Clinton Brumley
My wife and I celebrated her birthday here. We were very satisfied with our choice. We both had the bone in ribeye. So tender and flavorful. I had a side of asparagus and my wife had a side baked potato. The sides are a la carte. A family style salad and bread was waiting at our table. You will pay top dollar for your meal but as a special occasion this is the spot. 2 meals with a total of 3 drinks and a 20% tip was around $200.00. This was the best steak I've eaten at a restaurant in Wisconsin. The entertainment was top notch as well.
Jodie Johnson
This restaurant was set up nice for Covid. Staff were very friendly and pleasant. Excellent Old Fashions. Our waitress gave recommendations and we took two of them. I had the onion cheese soup and the Prime Rib; they were both delicious. My husband had the bone in filet mignon that melted in your mouth. We would definitely go back and recommend.
Lemmon Harris
The food is amazing! The staff is incredible and the entettainment superb!Hats off to the OWNERS!!!!!
Bunny Roth
Every dish was room temp at best. Butter did not melt in the undercooked baked potato. My steak was ordered without mushrooms but when brought to the table the server noticed there were mushrooms he took all four orders back to the kitchen which may be why the food was not served hot.
cardking98 k
The steak was good, great place to take a date. The waiter Alex was very knowledgeable about the history, and was helpful with the menu. The place was busy on Friday but our waiter Alex was very attending.
Great place to get some steaks with friends or a date night.
Rachel G
The BEST steaks and outstanding service! Defintely a unique, "old Milwaukee" vibe. Interesting neighborhood, but clearly doesn't deter business!
James Thyberg
One of the best experiences I have ever had at a steakhouse. The environment, the staff, the drinks and food were top notch! Crystal was an amazing server and made our experience that much better!
Jasmine N
Five star experience from the food to the service. You must make reservations and this place is packed (with social distancing in place with less tables). Reminds me of some of my favorite steak houses in NYC. Every time someone who loves steak comes to visit me I'm going to make a trip out there.
Shane Warner
Very great service and Very tasty steaks!
David Flanigan
Wow. Just... Wow.
Plus, Christmas lights all year long!
Brandi
Omg! The food was so delicious!!! 😋 they offer valet parking. The place looks smaller on the outside but pretty roomy on the inside. The hostess will have you go to the bar and a waiter/waitress will come and take your order until your table was ready. The drinks were really good. Our waitress was wonderful. The only problem we had was that we asked for a booth and they said it was ready, but walked us to a table and said they gave it to someone else.🤷🏽♀️ we had to wait a little longer before we got our booth. Other than that everything else was great!
Al “Alph” Roth
Should probably be a 2 star. The so called steak was barely over room temperature and as I pointed out to the wait staff, the butter did not melt in the baked potato. The response was, what can I do for you. Obviously at the prices it would be to bring HOT food. Can't blame wait staff for a poor kitchen. Also, we asked one item to be no mushrooms, it came loaded with mushrooms. Of the 4 of us, we would be eating at different times. It not Ruth's Chris for sure. Will be going to other steak houses in the area.
Stefanie Keisler
We had the most attentive & gracious server named Suzanne. She knew the menu by heart and had the best recommendations. She guided us to one of the best meals! The atmosphere was so relaxing, the old fashions were perfectly mixed & our surf & turf was mouth watering...but...our server made the difference and is the reason we will be back soon!
JP Bluma
My son's choice for his birthday feast! Great food! Great service! Been coming here for over 35 years. Fantastic steak!
Maura Treichel
Tried this restaurant last night for the first time and was not at all disappointed. Our waiter Alexander was excellent he did a very good job explaining the menu and what is all included with your meal. Their steak was the best I've ever had! I definitely recommend this place to anyone!
Meryl Fitzpatrick
Same old school supper club atmosphere, same terrific service, and the same outstanding food. We were a party of four with our companion couple visiting for the first time. I had always told them of our past enjoyment here and was hoping it would still be a winner. It was. Two of us had steaks, and two had prime rib. All portions were huge and cooked to perfection. Just terrific. So happy this Milwaukee institution is still at it!
Brian Kaminski
Service was awesome, food and drink, also awesome! My only complait is it was a bit too dark to see what I was eating.

Good Fellas feel!! Great service, great food!!
John the house manager made you feel welcomed and was very attentive to the customer. Made the wife's 50th birthday special!! Salute..

Great throwback to classic fine dining steakhouse. Bartenders and drinks that make you feel as though you stepped back in time to when Al Capone would have sitting at a back table smoking a cigar. The meal was all that is to be expected. Steaks are phenomenal and thick and hearty, and all the sides make perfect pairings. With one of the best steaks I’ve had and a perfect whiskey old fashion, I could not have expected more. This is perfect place for upscale dinner experience that’s not too fancy, but filled with class. My fiancé and I will return for more!

First time there for 43 wedding anniversary with other couple. Had the porter house, loaded huge potato, salad, and french onion soup.
Salad was fresh, soup was Awesome and the porter house was the best steak I've had in a long, long time. Yes it's pricey, but it's well, well worth it. Atmosphere was good old fashioned hospitable, service by Courtney was excellent . Joe our bartender was very personable. Will definitely recommend this to others, thank you for a fantastic night, and dinner.
Betsy Mercer
If I could give you 10 Stars out of 5, you would absolutely deserve it. What a great experience... and the food!!! I had the lamb, it was PERFECT! My friends had the bone-in ribeye and filet which were so we'll seasoned, perfect crust, and perfectly cooked. Crab cakes were wonderful!
Bracket Racing
Omg! Try the king cut filet. If you like steak you will LOVE this!
Valeria Key
The whole evening was great! Food delicious, steaks cooked just right, our waitress was phenomenal- Zariji, may have spelled the name wrong. All the staff was extremely helpful, pleasant and attentive
Marty Stroiman
The real deal! Excellent steaks, perfectly cooked and efficient service. Managers came by 3 times during dinner to check on service! Not too formal like other steakhouses where men are expected to wear a suit or sport coat! Casual attire is the norm due to it's location.
Alicia McNamara-grott
Rib Eye steak was wonderful. The traditional Wisconsin Old Fashioned was terrible. The prices were very high! The steak didn’t come with a potato! The cheese plate was $58!! In Chicago that would be $15! The waiter said the sides of vegetables were enough for the table. Not! They didn’t have the ice cream desserts I’ve had at every other supper club. The left overs were dumped into a plastic bag. Not even a box.
Louis Young
Fantastic restaurant! The 8 oz filet was amazing! Very delicious and outstanding service. Will be back.
Mike Marciniak
Best steakhouse in Milwaukee. By far. I love the non-pretentious supper club decor. The old fashion relish tray is great nostalgia. Bottom line the steak is fantastic. Beautiful searing on the outside and perfect on the inside. The wait staff is fantastic too. Playfully fun, but professional.
luis aponte
Good food first steak came out with hair in it. 2nd one came out raw on the inside. Had reservations for 8pm checked in at 730pm and wasn't seated until 845pm. Over all pretty good steak. Definitely will think twice about coming back.
latonia ford
The environment is so relaxing.
Jim Knapinski
Great classic supper club where steak is king. The staff was friendly, the drinks were good, and the food was great. Portions were large and had plenty to take home afterwards. Our hostess Crystal was great also. Great place for a date or special occasion.
Robert Mentecki
Edit 10/13/20 Same great service. Same great atmosphere. Unfortunately all four of our steaks were not what we've grown to expect from 5 o'clock Steakhouse. Two of our steaks were over cooked and two were undercooked. The size of the ribeyes was significantly smaller then previous visits. I've been dinning here since the late 80's. I hope this was an off night and not the new normal. 2☆ food, 5☆ service this visit.
My previous review..
UNBELIEVABLY EXCELLENT!!! THE BEST STEAK IN THE MIDWEST...BAR NONE!!!
This is a must try!!!
Kurt Chrisler
Excellent steakhouse! I loved the charring on the steaks and the au jus. My wife was not a fan of the charring. Waitstaff was great and an overall wonderful experience.
Andrea Reece
This was so unbelievable the steak was undesirable if I new this place before it would have been on my bucket list highly recommend
Also the people there are very kind and good at there job like my server Zahi and the manager John 11/10
Melissa Genova
For the second year in a row, my husband and I have visited Milwaukee for my birthday and had dinner here.
The catch? I'm a vegetarian and I still pick a steakhouse! The bartender makes a perfect dirty martini, I am always treated right, and I usually order a bunch of sides and the cheese platter. It is more than enough to fill me.
I joke that it is the relish tray that really sells me on the place, but it's not a joke. I love the setup at the table.
Also the service... their staff is incredibly friendly. Crystal was our server tonight, and she was delightful.
Jim Sjoberg
Good service and excellent food, outdoor seating very nice!
Steve Isom
This place is a classic old school supper club style steakhouse. Awesome cocktails and even better steaks!! Been to most of the steakhouses in Milwaukee and most are great but this is by far my #1. The food and service are unbeatable! Bone-in filet is the best steak I've ever had!
John J Jackson
This place is a nice place. It is a great place for a date. It is expensive overall. The bread and butter was great. I enjoyed the shrimp cocktail. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare. It has some very good flavor and the aujus was good but slightly salty. The only thing I didn't care for was the music was kind of loud at first and the people in there seemed to be pretty loud.
Janice Lynch
We can't say enough great things about our visit to the 5 o clock steakhouse. Everything from the entrance and getting a drink at the bar to the salad service and entrees were all fantastic. The only complaint I had was that I ordered and ate too much. There's very few places around today that make you feel like you're going back in time for a classic, amazing dining experience, and this place definitely provides that. We will definitely be back as soon as we can make it back to town.
Brian LeCaire
What a fantastic dinner amazing atmosphere incredible food I would go again and again
Jaye El Eee
My boyfriend and I were in my hometown for the holidays and his birthday (12/26). He is a spectacular cook so he’s not a fan of eating out, but I wanted to treat him on his special day. He and I are foodies and heard great things about the food and professionalism. The restaurant did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back!!
Tom Kilmartin
Great food, as we came to expect over our prior 3-4 dining experiences over the years. However, the special birthday meal for my wife was memorable only because of the significant overcharging, over and above the expressly stated prices on the menu. Will return, but not in the near future. Instead of recommending this place for the great food, I must recommend taking a close look at the menu prices when you order so that you can check your bill after dining.
Steve Obscherning
A Milwaukee destination location! I just love the Supper Club style and these guys are awesome. Steaks are just amazing! Service is excellent and drinks superb. An absolute must try! It's busy so make reservations!
Chris Baacke
The char was very good. The service was excellent.
Scott Tyler
We waited for over an hour for our reserved table but we had a couple drinks and had a delicious meal of medallion filets and bacon wrapped filets. Our waiter was good and attentive, taking our order while we were at the bar so we didn't wait long for the meal.
Jean Ott
Fabulous! Was our first time here but, hopefully, will not be our last. A true old-fashioned supper club with a very attentive staff. Oliver was amazing. Steaks were prepared just as ordered. It is not inexpensive but, in this case, you definitely get what you pay for.
Margie Lochowicz
Very delicious but also pricy! Was told between 5 and 7 mushrooms came on the steak so I didn't order extra. I only received 3 on a 16oz. steak. My steak was excellent though! Could also be a little more light in the dining room!
Richard Maretti
When we come to town, we always have to make a trip to 5'Oclock Club. Best steak and service around.
Shane A.
I could not put all of the great things in this post. They sit you at the bar and take your order while you get a drink to start (love it). Then the experience begins, warm bread and salad wait for you at the table. Servers are on top of everything and the manager (or owner) made sure to stop at every table. THE MEAT... melt in your mouth after cutting with a spoon. I had no problem paying the price for the meal because it was amazing start to finish.
Tom Kupcho
THE classic Wisconsin supper club in the heart of MKE. Table service salad and relish tray. Perfectly prepared steaks and rack of lamb. Outstanding service.
Ian Sznaider
Incredible dining experience. Best steak I've had in a long time. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend!
Anthony Gahn , Jr.
A great meal and a classic steakhouse feel. Our server was attentive and did a great job recommending items and taking care of us throughout the evening. The steaks were nothing less than fabulous. Tender, flavorful, and done to perfection.
J 3,
Had a great experience at this restaurant. First time visiting Milwaukee on a short vacation and Ive wanted to go to a genuine Wisconsin Supper club my bf and I had the best steak dinner in a very long time!! Our waitress was great and told us of the mural uncovered on the wall near the bar and other history. I believe and hope her name was Alexandra(?) Their food is delicious and their cocktails were classic. I had 2 old fashioned. :)
ashley glembin
Delicious after dinner drunks, friendly staff
They always treat us with such kindness and truly care about customer service.
Michael Johnson
Not the big shining star I expected. Food was just okay super loud and cramped. Also I felt as if the waiter and waitresses were trying to rush people in and out of their tables. Our waiter asked three times if he could take away our salad and then during our meal asked us several times if we were done. It was okay just not as good as people made it out to be. There are better steak houses out there in my opinion.
Danielle Lee
Went on a first date. Experience from start to finish was impeccable. Steaks were 5 star. We were fortunate to have Crystal as our server. Her personality, sense of humor, and knowledge were impressive. She definitely loves her job as it shows in her enthusiasm. Second date to follow and will be requesting Crystal. Thank you. Highly recommend!!
Dan Hyman
Excellent steak and shrimp scampi. The char on the outside of the steak coupled with the au jus on the plate made for a great flavor in every bite. The scampi sauce did have a strong wine flavor, which I enjoyed, but some may not. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and not chewy like some lower quality establishments. Overall the food was prepared very well and tasted great. Even the home-made ranch was excellent with the dinner salad. This place lives up to it's reputation.
Paul Agnello
Great live music (the last three visits on Friday's). Good steaks and seafood. Family style salad, relish tray, and bread keeps us coming back. The bartender makes excellent Old Fashions!
Nicole Krakow
Phenomenal and consistent. Every dinning experience is wonderful with exceptional attentive friendly servers, delicious drinks, and a phenomenal meal! The steaks are always cooked perfectly as well. The atmosphere is also one of the most unique and comfortable places in town.
Chris Linskens
The price is worth it if you are an avid steak lover. Portions are generous, comes with sides of bread and a salad. Got a 21oz. NY Strip that was fantastic. Steaks are blackened on the outside (really adds flavor) and cooked to your liking on the inside. Reminds me of an up north style supper club only right in Milwaukee
Michael Coleman
Probably the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had in Milwaukee. An old school supper club that is very classy but not pretentious. Steak is charred black on surface while the inside was even medium rare all the way through on a plate of Au Jus and mushrooms. Very satisfied!
B B
It had all the charm of an old time supper club. The food was fantastic as all the reviews say. Our server Crystal was very informative on food preparation and made sure we had a wonderful time which we did.
Steve Schaer
A MKE classic old school supper club. Enjoy!
Simmons Home Inspections !
From start to finish, it was top notch. I highly recommend it and have made it my new favorite steak house.
Went there for dinner on a Friday in July. We were greeted as we walked in by the bartender. Sat at the bar and ordered dinner thru our server while having a drink. Moved to our table after about 15-20 minutes. Salad and bread were waiting when we got to our table. At the recommendation from the bartender ordered the porterhouse and a baked potato. The steak was amazing. Every bit as good as I expected. The salad and bread were also very good and the potato was rather large. But the steak stole the show. Honestly one of the best I've had in Milwaukee or Chicago.
The service was good. Our sever was timely and frequented our table to make sure we were set on drinks and making sure our meal was going well. The owner stopped by our table twice to also see how dinner was going. It was a great experience and can not wait to go back!
Melissa Dielen
This place is incredible! There's a feeling of class throughout the entire restaurant. We checked in with our reservations and were sent to the bar, where we were served cocktails and placed our dinner order. Shortly after, we were seated at our table where there was a salad bowl waiting for us. We were brought fresh bread while we waited for our appetizers: the crab mac and cheese and the lump crab cakes, which were divine! When dinner was served we both were in awe of the flavors. Everything was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. And dessert was nothing to pass up either. House made cheesecake (with housemade whipped cream) and tiramisu wrapped up our meals and were delightful.
And let me just note that our waitress was attentive and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our experience at Five O'Clock Steakhouse. This place gets a 10 out of 10, and we'll be back for sure.
(Side note: If you're intimidated by the prices, we were a little as well before we arrived. But the experience is most definitely worth the cost.)
Rebecca Herron
This is one of my favorite restaurants! Wherever they get their steaks from is an excellent hookup because it beats any steak in Chicago. The atmosphere is super retro and fun. People from all walks of life come here so everyone will feel welcome.
Mary Farnham
This place is one of a kind & definitely one of my favorite dining experiences in Milwaukee. I needed to find a unique steakhouse, local to MKE that I could host 2 executives and our business partners. I am so thankful we found this place because it checked the boxes and more. The bartender was super knowledgeable & funny and the supper club style meal was an absolute hit. The lazy susan was easy to share our apps & sides and the steaks were perfectly cooked to all of our liking. Thank you all for making this trip so memorable & delicious!!!
Michael Chroninger
Food was cooked to perfection. People were great.
Nestor Gonzalez
First supper club experience and it did not disappoint. Visiting friends in Wisconsin and knowing how much I love steak, they brought me here. Crystal did a fantastic job serving us and the food very good. Warning... portions are pretty big so be careful how much you order. You may get too ambitious! Would definitely visit again!
Phillip Moore
It was a throwback atmosphere to an era of supper clubs. Some may say the neighborhood is not the best but the meal is outstanding. A reservation is required and you will be directed to the bar initially where you will order your meal (somewhat usual). So I would inform my waitress that I like slower service, since when you are seated be prepared. I enjoyed everything appetizer, salad, main course and dessert.
I will definitely be on the lookout for opportunities to travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Also, if you stay at a hotel the doorman may offer you card that will get you a pleasant surprise!
Jeffrey Newholm
Five O'clock is truly a Milwaukee classic. The ambiance strongly expreses an authentic, well-aged supper club and the steak is to die for with a varied menu of meats and sides. I advise that prices are very high ($50 a meal, without alcohol added) so it's probably a once a year treat. However, what a treat! I couldn't recommend the restaurant more
Scott Perreault
I read about supper clubs in WI and this place was one of the top rated. Here is how it broke down. Five stars for character of the place. If the walls could talk, the stories of the people who have dined here would be a best selling novel. Free valet parking was a bonus on a cold winters night. The host and waitress five stars. Perfect at their jobs. The bartender two stars. Grumpy. You sit at the bar and order your dinner. Once your order is in, your waiter guides you to your table. The beloved relish tray and warm fresh bread is waiting for you. We ordered steaks. The $50 ribeye and $25 sirloin. Both medium rare plus. The steaks were one star. Gross. Outside burnt. Inside very rare and by the time they arrived to our table they were luke warm. The mushrooms tasted earthy in a negative way. The only winner was our dog who loved the ribeye bone. The homemade salad dressings were a five. Bathrooms very clean. Would we return? No. Are we glad we experienced five o’clock? Yes.
Mark Baughman
Fun, friendly and a great supper club atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Anthony Jones
Best steak in Milwaukee hands down! Their service is amazing. They sit you down at the bar and while they get your table ready. Then they come get you and take you to the table. They bring delicious bread with butter and big salad. Next comes the steak and it’s cooked to perfection. I can’t wait to go again.
Kelsey Hock
Unique throwback place with a very historic vibe and excellent food and service. Interesting idea of having people sit at the bar first, ordering their food and then being taken to their table. I'm sure it's so they can have more turnaround in the dining area but you can sure rack up a hefty bar bill. Steak was cooked properly, good flavor, loved that it came with the mushrooms at no added cost. Would've been nice to have a sauce pairing or maybe garlic butter option rather than only having au jus but that's what they're known for so you can't beat a classic. Crab mac and cheese was stellar, mashed potatoes always good, a little disappointed by the asparagus (overcooked/wilty). Server was awesome, loved her sense of humor. Would enjoy coming back.
Cheryl Leverett
Everything about this place ROCKS! Steals we're awesome +flavorful, huge, and perfectly cooked. Unique seating methods- first stop, the bar. Meet your waiter and order meals here. Shortly after, you are seated where your bread, relish tray and drinks wait for you. Appetizers follow quickly, and then your entrees. The desserts are also phenomenal. We had the creme brulee and Chocolate Mousse Cake. Wow! Decadent! We will be back!
Robert Bilkovski
Been here many times. The place has not updated their decor for decades, but that's what gives it its charm.
The most important thing is their steaks. Cooked to perfection, phenomenal flavor and combined with attentive service.
They have never missed a beat. Probably the best steak in MKE.
Arielle Cordell
Literally the best steak I've ever had. Very awesome place and the boss is so nice and genuine! I will be back everytime I visit Milwaukee. The servers are also very hardworking and are considerate and checked up on us often! Lovely place!
Mesha Denise
Great place for a private party. The drinks are really good but the food is a little pricey. Their staff are very nice and despite being a full house don't have to wait a long time for your food. Upstairs they have live music. I came to see Christopher's Project and he was awesome.
Scott Wilezol
I’m not from the Milwaukee area and had dinner here with a small group. This isn’t the big corporate-type steakhouse I’m used to. Very cozy with a lot of vintage character. The staff was warm, inviting and friendly— i genuinely felt like they were happy to be there and to create a great experience. My filet was insanely good. Like sooo tender it was exceptional. Great exterior crust and perfectly rare, Per my order. Had a similar filet in TX the night before at a famous steakhouse and Five O’clock was just in another league of superiority. Onion soup was also perfection. Wildly impressed. Thank you for the warm hospitality on a cold day!!
Patricia Medema
Old world supper club, dark and "moody". Its our go to in Milwaukee. Great cocktails, relish tray, salad bowl and warm bread. Everything fish, fowl ribs are perfect. But their steaks are luscious. Always cooked to your desired temp. Not cheap but worth the splurge
Diana Gonzalez Snazy face painting
Pretty nice crowd of people.
The ambient is upscale, soft lights invite to have a tasteful drink, the live music was wonderful to my ears.
The entry that consisted in a fresh and delicious salad, the bread is awesome and my new York steak was amazing. You have to try it for an special occasion and dress to impress!
Kyle Kasprzak
This was my first time visiting Five O'Clock Steakhouse and I will go back. I took my (not elderly but old) parents here on a Saturday night at about 6:30 PM. First off, the restaurant was quite full, near capacity but the wait was reasonable and their system of waiting/ordering in the bar area while they prepare your table was at least different and it worked for them and me as a guest.
(Side note: I wish that I knew Five O'Clock was a bit more upscale than I thought, I was under-dressed for the occasion in shorts, but nonetheless it didn't matter -- no dress code.)
Second, the bad news, the dining area/space is fairly small/intimate which helped create the one problem I experienced: the noise. It was extremely difficult for my parents and I to have any conversation amongst ourselves at our table -- it was that loud, plus the adjacent party of 8 was a bit too loud even compared to other tables. I'd like to go back on a weeknight just to get an idea if that would be a better experience for me in terms of the volume.
Lastly, the food was exquisite. The prime rib was amazingly well prepared and cooked medium-rare as requested. All of the food that night was delicious; the quality (and portions) of the food was accurately represented by the pricing. (Side note: I'm a fan of quality and if need be, higher costs as opposed to quantity.)
Greg Steller
Classic steakhouse... a must if you are in Milwaukee. Delicious steaks, great service. A special memory as we celebrated our daughter's amazing four years at Marquette
Scott Lincoln
Good food, great service. The owner makes his rounds greeting the patrons and makes sure your dining experience is to your satisfaction. The steaks and excellent. All of the side dishes are al'a cart - with portions that will leave you full. The bar had live music which was a pleasure to listen to. Most definitely make a reservation because the place fills up fast. The menu has alot of options, including ribs and seafood. The meals are pricey but worth every penny.
Benjamin Klipfel
Great steaks!! Although not a cheap date night, it's a delicious one, they definitely work you for money as a walk in, seat you at the bar for you to order drinks (which were good), neighborhood is a little sketchy, and I think it may be owned by the Italian mob or one of the Sopranos lol ( I never felt unsafe, but had that feel. Over all, greatly satisfied.
Heather R.
This place takes you place to the era of the Rat Pack. The steaks are done perfect, when you order Medium-rare you get Medium-rare. The porterhouse steak was so big, had to take half home. The bartenders are fun and the drinks are not watery. First time I was there was 9 yrs ago after getting engaged. Reservations required.
Eva Jacobson
Food was amazing, atmosphere was great, and hands down the friendliest most wonderful staff I have ever experienced!!! They were so warm, accommodating, and friendly! Can’t wait to go back!
Kong Her
Four and a half stars for the steak but the layout and bathroom sizes I give it a 2. The lighting in the building is too dark and made my head a little dizzy. They really need to work on upgrading the place and making the bathroom a lot bigger. You can't expect to feed 300 people but have one stall only. Food is good but I didn't like the atmosphere.

My wife an I visited this place based on a recommendation/invitation from one of their reps...and it did not disappoint. All of the staff (from Valets, Hostess, Bartenders, Waitresses, Busboys, and Management were AWESOME!!! 👍👍
The food was delicious, I had the lamb chops and my wife had the salmon...they were cooked perfectly with great sides, dessert and drinks. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The staff were all friendly, welcoming and the waitress took time to describe/suggest some dishes since we're new to the restaurant.
It is an "old-school" supper club. It was cozy and busy that night, but there were no issues at all...this place is well run.
There was a good band playing that night as well, which made the night perfect for my wife and I.
Portions were plenty and the prices are what you'd expect from a good steakhouse.
There was also the bonus of free Valet Parking. We enjoyed ourselves very much and highly recommend to all. 👫
Albi Liubinskas
This was the first time I ever ate a 16 oz steak and I loved it! The steak wad cooked perfectly medium rare even tho it looks charred on The outside , the center was very tender and tasted great! This restaurant is a little dark but it may be part of its theme as a supperclub feel
Shannon Trew
My Ribeye cap was phenomenal. Thank you to Stephanie, she was an amazing server! We had such a great time!
Larry Dreher
If you are looking for an old school supper club atmosphere and giant cuts of perfectly seared meat, then this is your place.
If you've never been here embrace the experience of placing your order while you sit at the bar waiting for your table.
The steaks are the star here so just go ahead and get the biggest baddest cut on the menu and plan to take some home for your echo 5 o'clock meal.
Rose Susami
Dinner - excellent; service - excellent: Bartender Wally made the best Tom Collins!
Paul Hoffman
Great atmosphere and service from the valet, the host, bartenders, etc. Wonderful old fashioned made truly from scratch. The bone in river was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Very nice salad to begin the meal and tasty Grasshoppers for dessert. Overall lovely night out.
Deanna Mejchar
Everything was great! The French onion soup is delicious 👌. The salad, relish tray and warm bread were good. We had a filet and a porterhouse grilled to perfection. For dessert a slice of carrot cake and a creme brulee.
Our waitress was Zarije. Thank you for your outstanding service. 💐
Jason Little
The experience started out well with an excellent hostess and bar staff. Our waitress rushed us and did not make any suggestions although my girlfriend and I told her that it was our first time. She brought the appetizer a couple of minutes later while we had just started eating our salads and she sat it halfway on the table that had no more room.
I will say that after I politely asked her to wait the service got better, but it was not what you'd except when paying $200+ for 2.
The bone in filet was amazing! The ribeye was over cooked from rare+ to medium. The asparagus was simple but good while the crab Mac n cheese tastes like tuna Mac n cheese- it was awful!
The bar staff and live (Joe Richter music) was amazing!!
Veronica Mesa
Love love love this place!!! A true MKE jem!!! Delicious food & awesome staff!!!
Bec Hoftiezer
The decor is dated, the lighting is dim, and the side dishes are comparatively lackluster, but the quality of steak here is always superb. I always get the kings cut filet mignon, and every time it is tender, flavorful, and perfectly medium rare. The house made blue cheese dressing is also excellent, and the wines I've tried have been lovely. It's very old school supper club, but the meat and personal severe are worth it.
Momo4Lyfe
Good service great food and it was a great place to celebrate my parents anniversary
Milwaukee WI
Old School steakhouse since 1947. Independently owned you can't beat the atmosphere and the steaks awesome! Prime Rib is really great as well on Fri and Sat..Salad is generous and you get fresh warm French bread out of the oven can't be beat with a relish tray like the old supper clubs of long ago.
Gabri Marie Marie
This old-school classic steakhouse is one place I hope never changes! Consistently great dining experience with splurge-worthy steaks and drinks. The servers and bartenders are highly experienced and are a huge part of what makes this one of my top picks for an amazing date night!
Ray Forgianni
Steak house get no better, here or anywhere. Barely a change in at least 20 years. Big chucks of meat, classically prepared. No frills, just properly prepared. Servings are huge. Unlimited salad and a vegetable tray. A la cart potato large enough for three. Excellently made cocktails. Like your martini frothy? Then this is your place. Adjacent parking lot but also free valet parking.
Drea-Wes Marrie
Suzy our waitress made our second experience so much more eventful then our first. She was on top of refills, checked back to make sure everything was okay and tasted fabulous !! The food is so outrageously good it's hard to explain!! If you love your steak , crab and shrimp this is definitely the place for you!! 😀 …
Johnny Waldschmidt
Great, classic Wisconsin supper club. Best steak in Milwaukee
Ellen Del Vecchio
Out server was amazing! We love her! We have had crystal before and hope to continue to have her! She is just wonderful and just adds so much pleasure to our time there and just adds to the outstanding food!! Thank you so much crystal for making by birthday the best!!!
Valorie Kohn
Aside from great food and a fantastic waiter, Ryan, staff saved our friend's life when she started choking on a piece of steak to the point her lips were turning blue. Staff never gave up trying to dislodge it until it came out and she started breathing again. Thank you to everyone involved in what could have been an absolute disaster.
Wilfredo Crespo
One of the best steakhouses in the US . Great cocktails , flawless service . Recommend the Thai Buffalo shrimp and the kings cut Filet.
kibble furrie gacha games dance and more
Food was good. Waiter Eric was outstanding. Receptionist was a total and complete you know what. Rude to her hard working staff, and rude to the customers. "Ms. Deb" needs a major attitude adjustment. For our 1st visit here, we probably will not come back. My fiance's first meal in Milwaukee and this is his impression. Sad.
Dana Buchicchio
Our first time here! Awesome steaks and drinks!! Suzanne and Jordan are 11/10. Thank you for making my boyfriends birthday special!!!
Tim Brim
It was decent. I've had better but it's definitely a good steak
Brent Schlichter
Everything seemed very plane. Nothing had the wow factor to it at all. I had the 16oz filet mignon witch was a very good cut of meat cooked to perfection (medium rare). The stake was very tender and juicy but lacked flavor, I have had similar tasting stakes at Logan’s roadhouse for $9.99. We had the asparagus as a side with didn’t wow us either. I’d have to say overall it’s a very over priced steak house. If you want a steak that gives you the wow factor and leaves a lasting impression go to St. Elmos in Indianapolis, you will feel like every dollar was well spent.
BEVERLY MAREK
Great atmosphere, awesome food, superior service from our waitress ZARIJE. Highly recommend requesting her for your table. Happy Holidays.
Evan Knapp
Amazing steak! One of the top 5 in Milwaukee. Great supper club feel with great cocktail selections. Get the king cut filet minion. Warning the steaks are not for everyone as they are charred on the outside. This can be a con for some despite the amazingly delicious steak inside.
Tony Kehrer
I was extremely lucky one night here. I walked in and there was a canceled reservation. I had an amazing stake, perfect potato, and an unbelievable Cosmo! The staff was very nice and my food came out hot and perfect! I highly recommend this place but make reservations so you know that you can get in.
Jennifer Farrell
It's okay, not great. The steaks are charcoal grilled but there's no flavor. It's like no seasoning whatsoever was put on the meat. And they come on played that are too small for the insane amount of au jus. Why so much liquid? Why does a ribeye need au jus to begin with? In our first 27inutes we were visited by our server 7 times. It was hardly enough time to read the menu let alone chat. I think by the end of our hour there it was close to 15 visits. We felt rushed. Drinks were good, though.
Alex Morask
I seriously couldn't say anything bad about this place even if I tried. I had possibly one of the best steaks I've ever eaten here (the king cut filet), the bartenders are incredibly knowledgable (not just about drinks, but about the menu and the cooking processes), and the servers are some of the most friendly people around.
The decor is nice, but if you go on a crowded night, it can seem pretty cramped and hard to move around. However, that shouldn't defer you from trying this place out for a special occasion. It's well worth the money.

This is a fantastic steakhouse with impeccable service. The ambiance was warm and inviting, as one would expect from any 5 star restaurant. I recommend this establishment for any and every occasion.
Angie Taylor
The steak was good. The mac and cheese was horrible. Noodles seemed undone. Did not appreciate my steak being put in a plastic bag after dinner. There is 1 toilet bathroom where I and another woman had to stand in line waiting. I don't have to ever go back to this restaurant. There was a movie playing with no sound. Not sure what the point is with that.
Jennie Steil
Food is amazing and service is amazing. Kristal was great.
Greg Bieniewski
One of the best steak houses I have been to. From the owner on premise, to the bartenders, to the waitresses. Everything was fantastic! It took me back to the old day, when everyone was so friendly. We will definitely be back. Heard the prices were high, for what I got, not a chance. Loved everything about the evening! 2-20-16

This was a perfect date night experience for my husband and I! You go to the bar first and enjoy a drink where you're waitress for the evening takes your order then comes to get you when your table has been prepared. The food is top notch and the atmosphere is totally unique like an old time supper club. Spendy, but worth it! !!
Angie Smeltzer
We have never been disappointed here! We love the atmosphere and take our daughter every year while visiting Marquette. The filet is always amazing and the brandy Alexander is the perfect way to end the night.
Jared Shoemaker
Truly one of the last restaurants of it's kind. Old style supper club with the wood panel walls and dim lighting. The food, though, makes this place amazing. I had the filet mignon but any of the steaks would be one if the best you've ever had. Prepared perfectly. We also had the calamari and the spinach. You can't go wrong here.
Mike Smith
Valet parking and care for your vehicle makes for a nice welcoming experience. Nice bar area staffed by real bartenders. Steaks expertly prepared. Great menu and service. High quality all the way!
Gale Keefe
A Wonderful meal. Like an old-time Supper Club for she have your cocktails then they present the menus you order your appetizers and your meal they come and get you when your table is ready never in advance of you finishing your cocktails very relaxing we had two waiters attending us table was set up with salad and relish tray before we sat down appetizer arrived shortly thereafter no rush time to finish they cleared brought your main dish again no rush attentive but not hovering they clear the table after that even did the Chrome catcher thing took our dessert order brought our coffees completed our meal They begged at the table which was not my preference but that's the way they did it delicious food and unexpected service

Dined on February 19, 2016. Fantastic experience. Had drink in bar, ordered dinner, and then went and dined in dining room already set and waiting for us. Wonderful service. Beautifully prepared meats.
A great all around experience. Where else can you order a Singapore Sling and Gin Ricky with a mouth-watering steak? We came from Grand Rapids, Michigan for this dinner and were not disappointed. Kudos!
Judith Slawny
We met friends, enjoyed a drink at the bar before we ordered dinner. The food was very good, totally a supper club atmosphere. Stephanie was our waitress. She is very pleasant and proficient. We will gi vack.

Fantastic food, and great service all with a decidedly upscale atmosphere. Reservations are required, and valet parking is encouraged. Once you enter, they normally will seat you at the bar where you can order a drink and review the menu. Your table will be set when they bring you to it. The prices are on the upper end, and it doesn't seem like the place to bring children (although I've seen it done, and no one was bothered by it). Bottom line, if you're looking for fine dining in Milwaukee - this should be very, very high on your list of places to try. You'll love it!
Mike O'Connor
Great place. I like to go there whenever I am in the Milwaukee area fishing. The staff is always nice and on top of things. I have had stopped here many times and the one time we ever had an issue the manager handled everything perfectly. They make sure you're happy with the dinner.
Todd Hoverman
Fabulous cocktails and perfectly prepared steaks
Julie “Eya” Wright-Griffin
Taking a trip back in time. Who doesn't love a supper club. Friendly staff and a bar that is hopping but keeping up with the demand of the true Wisconsin Oldfashion. I don't believe you could go wrong, with any pick off of the menu. The prime rib is pure perfection. The bone in ribeye is savory and cooked to perfection. They have the best creamed spinach, and was a perfect accompaniment to the huge slabs of beef placed in front of us. I couldn't begin to take in the thought of dessert. As a patron was walking out he said, get the Key lime pie " Its amazing" My date decided to order my favorite, creme brulee. Just as the rest of the meal, It did not disappoint. Five O'Clock is most certainly ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Nelson Mankey
5-star meal, atmosphere, and service. Steak cooked perfectly. Sides are huge...share them (or save them for breakfast the next morning). Advise securing reservation ahead of time (pretty sure they would insist you do so, given their limited hours). Do not let the surrounding neighborhood vibe deter you from visiting.

I'm a Chicago native and foodie. I can hands down say this place beats any Chicago steakhouse thus far. Great food, great atmosphere, not so good location but worth the risk of getting shot. Lol! JK! BE CAREFUL in this neighborhood. Your definitely not in Kansas, sweetheart. Once you valet (free) your car and hurry inside, you'll be transported back into the safety of the 1950s.
Seriously.... go try the steak. You'll thank me later.
Ana Rodriguez
GREAT steaks! I love their steaks! Their sides are okay, however could use more flavor... Personally this is usually the make a break when deciding to make reservations.
Kirstina Johnson
Kristi and staff were great! Food was excellent. Old fashioneds were wonderful as well. Enjoyed our experience very much!
John Meisenheimer
Epic. Our party consisted of 4 people: My fiancé, two friends, and myself of course. The Filet Mignon was absolutely made to perfection. Once you've eaten a steak here, it'll ruin for you if you ever try to eat from anywhere else. Aside from the food, the staff is super friendly. Hell, the owner came up to our party, introduced himself, and we had a nice conversation. Great place with great people.
Qadgop the Mercotan
Service was adequate, but not inspiring. The place was so dark that cell phone lights needed to be employed to read the menus. The family style salad and relish tray were good but not great; the sourdough bread was not particularly tangy. The a la carte sides (asparagus, onion rings, mac & crab) were shared around and the consensus was that they were pedestrian. I found the mushrooms to be quite tasty.
But the beef is the thing here, isn't it? My bone in filet was tender and very delicious. My only complaint about it was that the low light levels made it difficult to detect the gristly bits by the bone. There was very little of the gristle to not enjoy, but I wish I'd not had to locate it by taste. Others at the table thoroughly enjoyed their prime rib and boneless filets. We all agreed, the meat magnificently met our hopes.
The desserts satisfied. But overall, with a tab of over $340 for 4 people, with just two glasses of wine for the table, the a la carte sides should have knocked our socks off.

This is the place you envision when you think about a steakhouse... it’s a true supper club, so charming, it shouldn’t be missed. There’s no need to worry about the neighborhood, but if you are, they offer valet parking with a guarded parking lot. It couldn’t be easier to visit the good parts of 1960s Milwaukee than planing an evening here, remembering that eating out is an experience on so many levels.
Cathy Hamilton
Great restaurant!!! Service and steaks were outstanding. Talked to the owner about the history of the building. Fascinating!! Highly recommend going to the five o'clock steakhouse!!
Zachary Wiltzius
This restaurant is top notch. From the impeccable friendly service from Crystal to the best steak I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back.
Anne Brandstrom
Didn't care for the location of our table. Next to kitchen and wait staff station. Also near stairway to Alley cat lounge. Music was loud so it was hard to talk at our table. We had 7 people, so two tables were put together. They were two different heights.
Food was good.

One of many great steakhouses in Milwaukee, but this one is unmatched for atmosphere (dark and luxurious) and various old-fashioned touches (the sparkly vinyl-covered cushion on the bar, the cart that is used to serve your salad table-side). Each visit has prompted satisfaction up to raves from all guests for the quality of steaks and sides. My last entrée here was a tomahawk steak (a ribeye on a long bone, looks just like the description) that was the tenderest steak I've ever had (almost of Wagyu beef quality) and very delicious. Valet parking is highly recommended.
Jason
I am giving this place 5 stars because in my opinion it's the best steak in this city. It's definitely not for everyone. Steak is a touchy subject much like politics to a lot of people. We all have our own expectations. I don't char broil steak at home but there is something about the steaks here that keep me coming back. The aujus is an excellent addition to the plate of meat. They recently added a bone-in-filet. The past 4 times I went I have ordered that every time. It's amazing and I have not seen that on a menu at other steak houses. I also love to drink scotch and they have a decent selection here. Everyone has a Glenlivet and Glenfiddich 12yr 15yr. Boring and not worth the money. The wine selection is decent as well. In reality I'm just there for the steak. I love the supper club vibe and I like that they haven't changed it. Looks the same as it did when I went there for my first steak as a child over 20 years ago. Will always recommend this place.

Best steaks around! Love the dark savory crust they put on the beef. It's somewhat unique to Five O'clock and it's absolutely amazing.
Fruit Ninja
This place is amazing, best filet mignon ever! Relish tray hit the spot and the homemade Parmesan peppercorn dressing is to die for! Take it easy on the Lemon Drop Martinis the bartenders are awesome! Try it, you will not be disappointed.
Steve Truss
Great atmosphere. Great service. Great charred steaks. Don't forget to squirt a little honey on the fresh bread, just don't fill up on it too much, and leave room for that beautiful beef!
Christopher Kurtz
The best place for steaks in Southeast Wisconsin, hands down. The entire staff is always so warm and welcoming, and happy to see me and the fellas every time we come in. Old school supper club that will not disappoint.
Mike “Turbostang2005” Baron
Perfect. Clean. Impeccable food and steaks. Wonderful whiskey old fashioned
Dave Sladky
Made dinner plans since we where I town. The place is older. But very nice. The food was very good. Staff was also very good. I will stop back in when in the area.
Very classic steak house. Enjoy.

I'm from Appleton WI. Took a group of people out to eat. They said the food was delicious 😋 …
Samantha Chartier
Went for Sweetestday family dinner. We were seated right away, food was amazing including the desert. Our server recommended the homemade Keylime pie and it was the best I've ever had. Our server Zadji was amazing as well. The experience was wonderful from the beginning to the end Will definitely be back .

My self, my husband, my daughter and her fiancee went to the Five O'clock to celebrate their engagement. The valet was a nice touch and the hostess was pleasant and informative. However when we went to our table it was cramped with barely enough room for the waitress to make it through between tables without turning side ways. My husband was actually elbowed by the waitress while she was waiting another table, the food was just okay. We probably will not be back enough though we picked this restaurant because of the high rating.
Reggie Bryant
Super old school, classy joint. They start you off at the bar, take your order there, and then lead you to your setup table. There are a lot of starters waiting for you when you get there. Their steaks are charbroiled, which I think enhances it.
Dan Mel
This place has the best steak in Wisconsin. The service is nothing short of spectacular which matches just how good the steak is.
David Geertsen
Stopped in for steaks after casino all aspects of service were excellent including the best bartender in Milwaukee I've had several of their steaks I chose the filet this time a perfect cut done to perfection
Micah Fritz
I've been to Five O'Clock a few times and have not been disappointed with the service. When one of my steaks was underdone, the management responded immediately and was very helpful in setting things right. Servers are very friendly and will go to great lengths to make sure your experience is wonderful.
Julia Smith
Was there for my niece birthday the food was great .We had a party of 8 and that was there first time there.I have been there before. Everyone enjoy their meals.
Benjamin Duyck
I love this place. It is my favorite steak restaurant. The service is great, the bar is great. The steaks are the best. Old school. Best is the ribeye or the filet. If you are early enough you get a chance to have prime rib which is heavenly. Eating here is like being transported back to time, in a good way!
Robb Hanke
Our waiter Greg made our first visit a very memorable one.
Samantha Lobo
The one thing I going very off-putting was that you are basically forced to buy a drink at the bar before they seat you. The salad dressings were really delicious! I felt the food and value is far better at the Milwaukee Steakhouse for a comparable experience. I probably won't come back here for that reason.
Żul “Dirty” Jake
Great beer on tap, high end cocktails...then there's the steak. Delicious sides, for excellent meats. The only reason it gets 4 out of 5 stars is the price.
feasha terry
Excellent food and excellent service. A must place to go and visit and have a good time.
Tim Zielke
This place was amazing.
Service was phenomenal, the atmosphere was perfect for the experience. However the true star of the night was the food. Steaks were done to perfection.
We will gladly be back.
Mike Linck
I dine at Corpers 1-2X yearly and have been for the last 20 years. I now live 2 hours away and I always find myself coming back here. I realize there are other options, however, I cannot find a better steak house with better service and better food.
Last night our server ZARIJE moved to the top of the list! My guest and I dined for 3.5 hours and I felt we were given an attention to detail like non-other!
Thank you as always for one of the best dining experiences over and over!
Ryan Groeschl
Loved my first visit to Five O'Clock Steakhouse (formerly Coerper's)!
The ambiance is awesome. Definitely from last half-century, nice supper-club style. Bar is nice, bartenders have fun attitude, and make great drinks. We ordered old-fashioned's and mule's, and they were delicious. While you drink at the bar, they bring menus and you place your orders. You don't sit down at your table til your salad is ready for you. (A little different, but I didn't mind it)
The food was phenomenal. Salad was fresh, simple. All the appetizers were delicious. We were especially glad we ordered a half-rack of ribs as an appetizer - they were a perfect 10 (fall-off-the-bone, soft meat, well sauced). All 4 of us ordered steaks of some kind, and each was delicious. You can't go wrong with the Oscar style, and they blue cheese sauce that comes with the bacon-wrapped filets was delicious. Fresh mushrooms on the side. We also ordered 2 deserts, which were all delicious: a chocolate cake, and a creme brulee.
Service was very good. Owner came by and was very pleasant. Free valet service. All four of us left vowing to make a date to return.
Dennis Makkos
The Filet & Porterhouse steaks tasted great. For whatever reason service was slower than I ever seen it. Our reservations were for 6 PM & we finished up @ about 7:45 PM.

Just. Go. Eat. There.
A one of a kind, old school supper club vibe with incredible eats and the BEST staff in town. Perfect for a romantic evening, a celebration, or if you simply want the best damn steak in town, THIS is the place and worth every cent.
Philip Gissen
Returned last night for a Flintstonian feast. Wow, Five o'clock may be the best steakhouse in the United States! I used to put Gibson's in Chicago on this pedestal, but last night's food, service, and all around good time, surpassed all expectations.
With a Wednesday 8:30 reservation with friends, lots of cocktails and conversation, we were the last people in the restaurant. Only the owner's family and a few staff remained. Everyone was gracious to the very end, when we staggered out, high on the good life. Go to Five O'Clock club and celebrate great food, wonderful people, and just being alive. Enjoy!
Josh
Not the same as the original steak establishment it used to be. Making a reservation seemed pointless after my 54 minute wait for my food. The food lacks quality, appearance and importantly flavor in comparing to the original meal. Filet was seared a bit to much making a thick layer of over cooked meat with the inside tasting ok but not to its full potential. The lobster tails did how ever taste pretty good but I can't say worth the price. $110 for surf and turf, king cut filet and lobster tails and the knowledge of knowing the flavor and portions are not worth the price.

Had my daughter Sasha's 21st birthday dinner and it was classy very delicious 10 Stars!!
Kevin Radmer
Best steaks in Milwaukee. Old-school supper club style. This place is very much a hidden gem/step back in time. Some of the most professional servers and bartenders around. The manager, Stellio, will come around to check on you and make you feel at home.
Dan Schley
This is as classic a supper club can be. And that steak. Wow.
Scott Jolitz
One of the best steak restaurants in Wisconsin.
Brian Fricker
Bests steaks in Milwaukee bar none!! My daughter tried the crab legs and they were absolutely amazing as well.....very nice surprise!
Kevin O'Connor
Unique experience. Traditional supper club. Order at the bar and when you’re seated at the table salads, bread and apps are waiting. It’s really nice. My ribeye was perfect.
Matt Glazier
One of the best steaks I have ever had!! The food was absolutely fantastic and the staff was extremely professional and courteous! The atmosphere of the steakhouse was also amazing!!
Theresa Marie
Really nice place. Steak was amazing.
Kelly Jo Brandt
My favorite steak place in Milwaukee. Charm and good food mixed into one - any out of Towner should try and any Milwaukean who hasn't stopped by must - it is an experience and a great meal all in one.
Make sure you make a reservation because they are consistently busy and do their meals Supper Club stlye.
Jim Gatton
OMG, best steak ever!! Was there for first time brought here by friends and was NOT disappointed. Rich and Gloria were right. If you go there ask for Crystal! Best server in Wisconsin!
Randy Darty
I have been eating at the Five O’Clock Steakhouse for decades, all the way back when Teddy Coerper owned it. It was amazing back then and it remains amazing today! One of my favorite steakhouses in the country!
Thomas Madjar
If you have an appreciation for vintage supper club style restaurants, than this place is for you. Steaks are large and cooked to perfection! Service is excellent as well. I recommend the bone-in Filet Mignon.
Karen Nemeth
The best steak, hands down! The bartenders, hostess, & wait staff (not to mention Stelio) add to the nostalgic atmosphere for a special supper club dining experience! A must!
Lisa Ashley
Delicious steak! Awesome classic supper club feeling. Love the environment! Joni was our waitress and she and the bartender Wally were fabulous! Thanks for a great time :-)
Robert Erickson
Steak was not very good for a steakhouse. I had a porterhouse and could not even cut through a good portion of the steak because it was so tough. The environment is a supper club so the atmosphere is a nice change up from the typical steakhouse.
Mary Negron
Service is excellent. They take the whole dinning experience to another level. Worth every dollar. They had live music Friday. Amazing singer. Very upscale place.
Aubrey Danek
This place. It will RUIN you for cooking steak at home (unless you can dry age your steak and cook it in a charbroiler).
It's perfectly cooked (go with med rare), seasoned, and paired with button mushrooms... And the au jus!
If that's not enough the baked French onion soup is one of the best. And you MUST try the sourdough with butter and honey.
It's not cheap, but you pay for what you get, and this place is worth every cent.
Kristina
Fabulous food and large portions. Great service! You get the complete supper club experience. Well worth every penny.
Dean Hoover
My wife and I went to this place as part of her company's Christmas party. There is an area upstairs for larger gatherings. The service was outstanding. Each person working there was caring, courteous, and made sure all of us where well served. Hors d'oeuvres were outstanding, and didn't last very long. My wife had the porterhouse, and I had the bone-in ribeye. The steaks were done perfectly, but the au jus was overflavored with Worcestershire Sauce, and since it was poured over the steak, we had no choice but to taste it. If it's possible, next time we'll ask for it on the side. The asparagus was perfectly done, the crab macaroni and cheese was decent, and the half-cut huge potato was overdone and dry. They had no shortage of patrons downstairs, so I would like to think we'll try it again sometime.
Michele Robinson
Great food, good old fashioned supper club atmosphere with drinks, salad, bread, vegetables, and main entree. The baked french onion soup was amazing, the ribeye was spot on and options of sides was fantastic.
