Short and simple menu, long lines which you expect at a burger or custard stand. The chicken sandwich was flavorful and the Big Man on Campus burger put me in an nostalgic state. Reminded me of the Big Mac from McDonalds when I was a kid, before all the extra added hormones and mystery meat. I will say maybe they need more team members, I waited quite some time for my order, and there weren’t many people ahead of me. Either way, the food was pretty decent. I still feel some type of way about the food containers at the 3rd St Market…

Honestly some really good cheese curds. I'd put them up there with the Old Fashioned in Madison. The burger was good as well but the curds carried it. Didn't care much for the sauce, it was pretty so-so and reminded me mostly of hidden valley. The mustard on the burger was also very good, and gave the burger a different twist than most normal burgers.

Very nice classic Wisconsin offerings. I got a burger, fries, cheese curds, and custard. I loved the "Big man on campus" burger. Great size and good mix of spices. The cheese curds were good, but too salty. The custard was ok. The flavor of the day was a savory one that had potato chips, so perhaps it was too much salt on my part with ordering. Awesome service. They have a mobile phone texting system so you can sit and walk around while your order is being prepared. There are lots of places to sit and eat. And so some bag toss games. Fun for the whole family!

Delicious food and custard! My husband thought it was one of the best chicken sandwiches he has ever tried. Totally worth the drive from Racine. I loved the cheese curds and pistachio custard. Both were flavorful and the curds were perfectly cooked! My only wish would be a vegetarian burger option.

I wasn't expecting the burgers to be so good. I've been to a lot of burger joints and I think this was the best burger I've ever had. We liked it so much we went back twice. And it was just as good the second time around. You gotta try this place!

On a scale of (1-5) Cleanliness: 4.5 Service: 4.0 (Above average wait time) Food: 4.5 (Tenders and Fries were very fresh, Flyover Sauce was very good) Value: 3.0 (A bit pricy though comparable for the food quality, loses an extra point for charging for Tap Water.

We ordered the cheeseburger (no onions) and a salted caramel shake. My wife and I both agreed it’s easily one of the best burgers in town. Just remember to grab extra napkins but totally worth it. Service was quick given made to order and shake was delicious as well. Will definitely be back!

If you're craving a burger, Dairyland can hook you up! Things I liked: burger was very tasty and thin to my liking (this is definitely an individual thing, but I do not like super thick burgers), they let me order a kids cheeseburger because I really did not want a huge two burger patty...the only option on the adult menu, and THE FRIES!!!! The fries are worth the trip. Not my beloved skinny fries but still thin-ish and fried up perfectly. They were crispy and seasoned and just right. I love that you get a text message when your food is ready. It wasn't a huge deal when I was there because it was early and not too crowded in the food hall. Closer to noon when the crowds are large and chaotic it's a big plus. What I didn't like, hence the four stars, was in spite of listing what I wanted in the burger and having it repeated back to me TWICE, I still got catsup. Usually a deal breaker but fortunately they went light on it and it was a mild annoyance vs a lunch ruiner. Staff was friendly enough.

The BEST burger I have every had!!! The cheese curds are top notch too. Oreo Cheesecake custard was great!!! I'm going to be dreaming about that cheeseburger for a while until I can get back there!!!!!

I was really surprised at how meh this was. I was expecting the burgers to have some kind of caramelization or Maillard effect at the surface like a smash burger or even a normally grilled one. These were…steamed? The texture was offputting and they put so much cheese sauce on mine that the experience of trying to eat it was frustrating — it was swimming in it and everything just slid apart no matter how I held it. The fried cheese curds had a neat texture in the batter but ultimately way too oily and not much actual flavor in the batter. The custard was awesome, and we’d go back for that which is why I gave the stars I did. My adult son and I agreed we would not get the burgers or curds a second time. We ordered to go but we ate it in the car outside so everything was still fresh, just for context (I know quality wasn’t affected by time in packaging).

The food was great.The man at the register was very nice and respectful and really made sure I had the best experience at dairyland. Although it wasn’t that busy, the food still took excessively long.

The custard is stellar! I’ve eaten here several times now and it’s consistently impressed me. Everything tastes fresh and made from scratch. I wish the pricing was a little lower so I could eat there more often.

Service & food absolutely STELLAR!!!! Friendly owner, outstanding staff and the food is GREAT every time.........it's fresh, hot and tasty!! Yummmmmmmmmmmm!!! Whenever I crave chicken!!! This is my go to...…I have to try their burgers & cheese curds next time!! Until then.......I used to go to the other places for chicken! No more...... And for those that say it's like Culver's? WRONG........Dairyland is way ahead on food, taste and customer service!! Btw, the gloves were on the cooks and staffs hands when I was there so I see improvement there. I just hope it keeps up I would hate to see otherwise. The employees have opened up a bit as well, could we see a little more customer service friendly smiles and personality! It would go so well with the STELLAR food I get EVERY TIME!! Special shout out to Kurt for his professionalism and hospitality and friendly smile, Karen for her vibrant personality and friendliness like Kurt and Ken for showing more smiles and friendly customer service. From the reviews I have read for not so pleasant experiences, PLEASE give them another chance to get it right. Ask to speak to the owner or Kurt, they will take care of YOU. GUARANTEED!!!!!

The reviews here are interesting. A battle between 5 star and 1 star. Hmm, that's suspicious. Here is what I would say. I only had a burger and fries, that's it. I liked the burger. I didn't catch it was a double, which was very Five Guys of them. I asked to hold the mayo, which they did but there was so much ketchup and mustard on the burger it just oozed and was drippy. Still good. Would have liked an option for lettuce and tomato. ... Fries, we LOVE fries. We did not love these fries. I was pleased to see the amount of the order. I like a lot of fries. I was put off by seeing some seasoning salt on them. Biting in ... the seasoning salt didn't add much flavor. Actually there was mostly no flavor in these fries. They were extremely bland, not greasy, just bland. We didn't even finish them when usually two of us would be fighting over the last one. You really need to up your game on the fries. Larger diameter crinkle fries are preferred, fresh cut potatoes fried would be great. That burger with lettuce and tomato would be better. When I read DAIRYLAND I think of farms, produce, sun, cows, fields, etc.. The food should harken back to farm produce. Please strive to live up to it! I gave you 3 stars because you are addressing concerns from reviews and actually gave me the URL for your place on Google Maps, thank you.

I'm questioning the authenticity of the low reviews bc we had a WONDERFUL experience. The staff were extremely friendly and everything came out hot and fresh. The cheesecurds and ranch are to die for and both our burgers were delicious. Wish they were still in oak creek, though!

The bacon cheese burgers are amazing! So much flavor!!! The fries are great!!! The seasoning on the fries is really good too!! They really need to sell the seasoning so we can use it at home!!!! My son had the chicken sandwich and cheese curds. The chicken was too big for the bun, which my son LOVED!! He said the breading on the chicken was really good as was the chicken. You could tell the cheese curds were homemade!! Quality products right here folks!!! Great bang for your buck!

Love this burger and custard stand at the great 3rd St Market Hall! Can't go wrong with anything here but the Old Fashioned Hamburger and malts are our favorites. We go here whenever we get to the Avenue.

Today I have discovered Milwaukee’s golden nugget. This restaurant has a menu that is outstanding from top to bottom. The cheese curds , onion rings , and chicken tenders are seasoned perfectly! The burger was served hot and ready. Very fresh buns and made with love ! Next I tried the homemade custard Ice Cream. The absolute BEST ICE CREAM EVER. The bakery shop right next door is really the cherry on top. The cookies and brownies are so beautiful and each bite just makes you melt. Thank you to the amazing staff for giving me the best first experience!
