I had bever seen a Culver's with a person in a little box in the back drive lane like a parking ramp, so I was confused and surprised at first but it actually worked out great. We ordered and paid at this hut in the back drive, then we were given a number and rolled directly to a waiting spot for our order to be brought out allowing us to skip the rest of the drive thru line. Very efficient and the order was completed quickly and very delicious.

I had never been to a Culver’s before and had to see what all the fuss was about. I stayed at the holiday inn express by the Culver’s (close to airport) and walked on over to have a burger to try it out. I mean it wasn’t a bad burger but at the same time it wasn’t an OMG burger. I really don’t have any complaints, I walked in cause the drive thru lane is just ridiculous. All in all I would eat there again. Thanks

The restaurant was neat and clean inside. I would say it was a bit overstaffed for the amount of business that was occurring while we were there (3pm-5pm)—there were probably at least 30, maybe 40, people hustling and bustling. But that staffing made for a great experience. The employees were helpful and attentive, and enthusiastic to help.

Crowded..but when isn't Culver's not? I ordered the shrimp dinner and it was superb. Coleslaw perfectly seasoned and the shrimp crunchy. We found a booth for the 5 of us and had no problems with service. Very prompt.

Great food, it's a Culver's, fast service and fresh food. There's recently been younger workers and sometimes they don't read back your order or you can barely hear them. So just be on top of your order otherwise you'll get charged for something you never ordered, like me.

The food at this Culver's on 6th and Layton is always good, but they need to learn to get orders correct in the drive thru. Either the person at the window is getting them wrong or the person bagging the food is. One time, I ordered 2 double deluxe burgers and a side salad. Instead, I got 1 double deluxe burger and 2 side salads. I already paid for the burger and missed a burger which costs more than a salad. And I was still hungry with my missing burger. Another time I asked for French dressing and ranch dressing and only got a ranch dressing. One other time, I asked for a salad on my combo and got French fries instead. Got good food, but they need to get orders right.

Absolutely love this location. Not are they only friendly but no matter how large my order is. It's always fresh and it's always all there. I never have to check before I leave. This location is amazing !!!

Food has been declining in quality rapidly (cheese curds aren't the same, burgers often tiny and burnt) and staff has been quite rude lately, especially the woman taking orders at the normal drive through during the evening on 1/14. Had to ask for my receipt to fill out the survey and they gave me one that didn't have a survey code.

Food was tasty as usual for Culver’s, and this location has managed to speed up their service. We used to skip this location as they were slower than usual for a Culver’s, however we got our food within 10min.

Food is ok, service is fast and friendly, their is indoor, outdoor seating and a drive thru. Lots of pot holes to look out for. Had to go back because they forgot part of my order, but they checked my receipt and were quick to fix it. Ice Cream there is great.

Food was hot, fresh no mistakes made and the icecream (cone placed in a dish for both kids did not melt at all during the drive home or while eating ( I make them eat first),Broccoli Cheese soup is great,but very hot so I save that for last. I love Culver's consistency...I know what to expect and have never had a complaint to make in several years. We ordered a Cashew chicken salad too and the person who ate it said it was very fresh and fillling for a salad. He did cut the chicken to smaller pieces but everything was great. Oh except for the sodas, something was not right they need to fix that they all tasted horrible. Thankfully we ate at home and had soda available still, but if that wasn't the case we would've been mad about that. Just take a sip before you leave ( didn't think to do myself because we've never had this issue)and everything should be great!

At 730pm on Friday it's very busy inside and at the drive thru. But we still got our food in about 5 minutes. The food is good quality, and the ice cream is pretty good as well. It has a better menu than most fast food restaurants on Layton Ave.

The food at Culver's is always top-flight. I gave 3 stars because of the problem with the seasonal walleye fish fry for lent. Culver's cod fish fry is outstanding. Really, it is. But cod cannot compete with walleye for flavor or texture. Walleye is a superior fish, and is priced as such at the grocery store. Each year I truly do look forward to the lenten walleye. Here are my 3 issues with it: 1) Why is it seasonal? It is the absolute best item on their menu, hands-down. It beats the fish fry in absolutely every restaurant I have eaten one in, over the past 25 years. I am not sure it is the greatest marketing strategy to frustrate and/or annoy your customers by not serving your best item year round. 2) During the once-per-year, limited-time walleye fish fry, it is random as to which stores serve it. Very disappointing when you get to the counter to find that the food you specifically came there for isn't served at that location. I am not sure it is the greatest marketing strategy to frustrate and/or annoy your customers by not serving your best item year round. 3) The end date of the special seasonal walleye fish fry ends whenever. The end date is not posted in advance, so you don't know when this will happen. This year it ended 2 weeks before lent ended. So, so disappointing and annoying. I am not sure it is the greatest marketing strategy to frustrate and/or annoy your customers by not serving your best item year round. In conclusion, I imagine that some marketing genius with a bunch of college degrees came up with the idea of making it seasonal. Did I mention it is pretty much just plain common sense that it may not be the greatest marketing strategy to frustrate and/or annoy your customers by not serving your best item year round?

Overall it was a decent visit. Teenage workers seemed a little put out when I asked for a bag and a drink carrier for my drinks. The food was fresh and delicious and I only waited about 5 minutes for it. Hands down The Best chili that I've ever gotten at a fast food joint. Might even be better than some homemade chili I've tried. My mushroom Swiss burger was tasty and my husband loved his melt. Compared to the service and quality found at other fast foods, Culver's would certainly be the better option by far!

Went there for Fish on a Friday during Lent. Ordered it online, immediately got in my car & drove there. Parked where I was supposed to. Clicked on the "I'm Ready" button on my cell. They brought my order to me within 1-1/2 minutes. If you decide to order inside it will take at least 10 min. If you place your order going through the drive thru. AT LEAST a 30 minute wait. The meal was good BUT as always @ Culver's WAAAAY too expensive.

This Culver's was wonderful! The staff at the registers were so friendly. The food came quickly and one of the register people carried it outside for us. The food was hot too. I live in North Carolina and the Culver's in Indian Trail has really gone down hill so this Culver's in Milwaukee was a wonderful treat!! Great job Culver's on Layton in Milwaukee! I wish you were here in Indian Trail, NC

We so enjoy Culver's. I have to eat gluten free and my husband carries his O2 with him. Culver's accommodates both our special needs in its usual courteous, gracious way. The food is good and the customer service is wonderful. Definitely give stars.

We visited on a rather busy Sunday night, and although the parking lot is rather snug for the traffic, they are very well staffed, and have a very slick system for taking orders, payment, and delivering the food, all curbside! Even with a fairly long line we had our custard in a matter of minutes! Efficient and friendly service, delicious custard as always. Thank you! ☺️

Any time I've come they have been the best. So I just went there for dinner with 3 of my boys an due to co I'd they only have drive thru open. Well my truck has been overheating so I couldn't do drive through so I walked up an explained my delay an tbet took my order an payment an had 4 meals bagged an ready within 12 min or so. That's besides a nice long line for drive thru, which again moved along nice an smooth Great teamwork an system of great food an customer service!!!!

I give this 4 stars instead of 5 for 2 reasons. I think there ice cream has changed, its not as creamy as it was a month ago and they are super busy. Although being quite busy the staff seems to be friendly and well mannered. Burgers and regular items ordered are pretty consistent and out of all the times I have gotten food/ice cream from them, they have only had a slip up and messed the order up once.

Is found the way that they are doing the drive-through very confusing. After I ordered they parked me one person came out and handed me my soda and my receipt and said here's your order. I had to ask her where my sandwich was and she said oh another person brings that out. That's the only culvers that I've been to that is doing something like that.

Finally took the time to stop by Culver's! I thought of it as being similar to that of Freddy's. Food was good. I was surprised how moist the hamburger patty was considering how thin it seemed. Almost as though it was a fried patty. Fries where cooked to perfection. They had a nice crispy texture on the outside and cooked tender all the way through as though they had been air fired. The strawberry shake was alright, I was hoping they used custard instead of ice cream as Freddy's but they missed the mark there. So honestly now I'd say they more mirror that of Dairy Queen than Freddy's.

It was good then soon turned bad but turned to wonderful. I ordered 2 fish fries for curbside. Got there on 6th Layton and parked. An employee came to me & asked my name. I gave him mine and my husband's. HE came back and said that there was no order for either, Maybe it went to the Culver's on 60th Layton. As I was leaving the manager stopped me and we tried to figure it out. In the end she offered to fill my order there rather than me taking an unnecessary run all that way. That's where things got better. They went out of their way to help and were soooo nice I'd like to see them for everything on the menu. Thanks Culvers/Manager/ Management Great food, Great People. 😃🤗

Culver's was clean and quick. Their burgers are excellent and I get the gluten free bun with a side salad (not iceberg) no croutons. They got our order out to us before we even got all our kids settled with drinks, bibs, and ketchup. We love how their kids meals come with I've cream and every 11th meal is free. Great chain and this location executed well.

Okay came for dinner got scared with the length of the drive through. Let me tell you, they’ve got this place ran like a well oiled machine, from the kids directing traffic, to taking orders and radioing them to the cashiers. Florida girl meets Culver’s for the first time. Service was fairly efficient, however getting the food was a bit different. Instead of going through the drive through, we had to park in a parking spot and take order. A tad confusion, but the burger was delicious along with the fries.

Our "family" Culver's. I think if you live in WI, every family has their "family" Culver's. It's the one that's local to you where you celebrate after the game or hit on Friday's for the fish fry. For us, this is that Culver's. It's a good one! Some great staff, LONG TERM staff to boot! There are some senior folks behind the counter and in the kitchen that I've seen for 10 years. The food is good and pretty quick, especially considering how busy they always seem to be. I'm going to ding them a star just because the drive-thru is basically worthless. Not due to the staff or their speed, but it's got a tremendously wonky layout that wraps it around the building. At times, it blocks people from getting in and out of parking spaces. Other than that, a great place, and really a jewel in a great chain.

This Culvers has the double drive thru open as well as employees standing outside to take orders from cars, who then pull over to parking spot to receive their delivered orders. Pretty amazing service. My Oreo mint ice cream was fantastic

Love this culver's - they do everything safely and the food is always delicious. Exactly what you'd expect for culver's and I'm there for it lol. The only thing is if youre turning into the restaurant from the hotel, go around and do not get into the drive thru lane lol I did and was stuck for a minute when I was looking for curbside pickup. There are signs for curbside on the right curb to the drive thru. I posted a picture for clarification. It confused me cuz they don't have signs for curbside (it's mixed in with the drive thru spots).

I needed a driver to go to an eye appointment, so my friend of 52 years drove me. Afterwards, I treated her to lunch @ Culver's! She had been thinking of Culver's before I mentioned it, what a coincidence. I also had a birthday coupon for a scoop of ice cream for dessert. Enjoying our delicious value meals of burger basket & fish basket, soup, dessert, and beverage, we spent 4 hours there reminiscing about our youth, education, career choices, our lives and adventures together. Staff were very courteous, not to rush us out and we definitely will be returning soon!

Loved that they had their game together ! Line around the building (in the rain) anybody who knew what they were ordering were directed to a parking spot, they took and called in your order, took your payment, and brought out your food asap - line moved so quickly ! This is a model store for the Culver's chain. Friendly staff with great service and the full Culver's menu. We were very impressed by what I would call a "floor worker" he was training a new employee, cleaning the front of the restaurant, taking trays and picking up debris from the floor. We overheard the trainer tell the trainee " Oh, by the way; when you are out here with the customers always make sure you have a positive attitude." The layout of the restaurant (this particular one is about 50% larger than most) is the same as all Culver's. It's a bit difficult to gain access to the restaurant. We were driving West on Layton Ave and had to turn south on a side street to get access to the business.

Nothing special, but they are quick. We pulled up when there was a HUGE line, but got to order quickly. We only ordered a family fry (giant portion of fries) and it was ready by the time we got up to pay. Staff are as friendly as gen z can be.

The food is great but the service needs attention. This place is always busy and there is no control over the lines. What I mean is that if they have only two registers going at it and somebody else opens another register they will say .. I can help who is next and when people come into the restaurant they stand right behind the short line( the register that just opened) so there is no control or any care giving to those who stay put in line just waiting to order. This happens all the time and the manager seems not to care about it. So if you like good food this is a good place but expect to be waiting in line and to be skeeped. Some may say is not big deal but when you are in line for 20 minutes and other people walk in and get service before you do you can't help to be a bit upset about it. Thats just my opinion tho.

I go here ALL the time. Friendly service, reasonable wait times for your food, and delicious cheese curds. I would avoid the drive thru, though, it seems it's always packed and seems to scare a lot of people away when finding a place to eat in the area. If that's the case, just go inside and order, you wil not be disappointed.

If you are looking for a specific flavor check out their online flavor of the day menu and then plan ahead for your favourite flavour. We love an improntu date night at our local Culver's, but I really wish they could suggest to families to not allow their children to run around and be extremely loud. We know it's a family place, but twice we saw close calls in miss accidents when customers go to set down and run into the children. Other then that, the food is great! I ordered the create your own custard, vanilla with raspberry & hot fudge. The fudge was only on the side of the dish, none anywhere else. My husband ordered create your own as well, chocolate with sprinkles & whip cream. She gave him vanilla. We told her it was to go & she hands us the ice cream with no lids, no bags or anything. I had to remind her it was to go. Where were we going to put these without them leaving a mess while driving home? I reminded her that one of them was chocolate too & she offered to remake it, but we didn't have time to wait. The ice cream is good, but listening skills & presentation need work.

This location, as well as the one up the street in Greenfield, always does a great job. They both have GREAT service & actually give you a good amount of toppings in your custard, unlike the one in West Allis and MillerParkWay. I gave those places another chance about 3-5 times, & I'm never going back to them. Only once or twice did someone take my order without mumbling to me. There was at least "crazy for cookie dough", "peanut butter cookie dough", "chocolate fudge cookie dough", & "resses p.b. cup" that I have stopped there for & there was barely ANY toppings in it..but not at this location (&Greenfield), once in a while they even LOAD'em up. I'm never going back to the one in West Allis or the one on Miller Park Way, M.P. Way gave me NO toppings when I got "crazy for cookie dough."

This Culver's is on S 6th Street and Layton Avenue so it's immediate lot gets full very easily. Fortunately, there's a Holiday Inn next door that shares its parking space. Culvers is clean and there are plenty of booths, and tables and there's a cooler near the register stocked with a variety of flavors. Their food always comes out quick, hot and made to order. I do enjoy their cheese curds a lot! There's root beer in the soda fountain so make sure you get a big scoop of vanilla custard and make yourself a root beer float. On nice days there's a patio with shade to eat your custard. November of 2019 just arrived and there's construction so the easiest way in is the 6th Street entrance.

My daughter recommened it, so I tried a 'full' salad & simply could not finish it! With flavorful and tender chicken, crispy wontons, peanuts, fresh, crispy greens, edamame, LeAnn it sauce & a perfect Asian dressing...Panera has truly hit the mark on this one! And the BEST location to get this salad is Oak Creek! They do the best job each & every time. Oh, and if you're like me...they offer a half salad as well for the smaller appetite!
