Very relaxing place to grab a bite to eat in a really cute part of town. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we could not finish all the food. The mussels sounded great so i gave them a try, the sauce was amazing, the mussels themselves definitely could have been a bit bigger, but they did taste fresh and I was not disappointed. Cheese curds were very good and all the sauces are homemade and worth the hype. Pretzels were also very good and the bier cheese was amazing. Would definitely dine again

Went for lunch and ordered their new Spiced Shrimp Salad. It was SO GOOD! It looks like a bottomless bowl, but it's so fresh and flavorful (and not spicy) that you'll accept the challenge.

Absolutely love Cafe Hollander. All the locations I've been to are great, but this one has a quaint corner location and nice outdoor seating. Street parking, but usually spots within a block. Food is always delicious. My go to is the chicken, bacon, avocado wrap with sweet potato fries. Never disappoints. We've come here with our kids and the servers were very accommodating. I take family and friends to Hollander whenever they're in town. Highly recommend

Absolutely wonderful spot in Milwaukee. We came here bc a friend cannot have gluten and they have a separate menu. There is plenty of outdoor seating with coverage but can get busy towards the lunch hour. I got the friend chicken and waffles but have a weird thing about mixing my sweet and savory but the restaurant was happy to separate my meal. Chicken was well seasoned and good balance with the waffle.

Booked one of the domes for a birthday outing. Everything was so nice and our servers were very nice as well. Would definitely come here again! Not to mention the food was so good too!

Wonderful food great stop!!! The kids loved their food, we loved our food! I ordered the Quinoa beet burger Seriously the best "burger" I've ever had!!! He had the bbq pretzel burger with cheese curds which also was sooo good. The fries where homemade. However we all agreed that mine was the star of the show. Prices were a bit Higher at around $13 a meal but for what we got it was worth it. Fun atmosphere, friendly staff all around great please keep it up!!!

Great staff, friendly and appropriately attentive. The breakfast sandwich, as you see, was beautiful....but sadly almost completely flavorless. It was just blah. The potatoes were tasty. Their patio is a summertime delight and it helped make the pain of a disappointing outing less awful than it might have been.

We had a great time here in one of the inflatable domes! It was raining but the servers were still awesome and came outside (I felt bad!!). Food was good, classic American style, and drinks were levied fairly.

This is one of my favorite places to eat! We don’t even really hang out in this area so I go out of my way to come here. The menu is versatile and anybody can find something they like. And the SAUCES. They have so many different sauces for their frites (fries) and they’re just so dang good. I always try a different combination every time. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and, last but not least, they just came out with some new cocktails and the Pineapple Express is seriously the best cocktail I think I’ve ever had in my entire adult life (and that’s competing with an awesome place that ONLY makes cocktails). I highly recommend this place.

If you are looking for awesome food this Belgian Restaurant should not be overlooked! The atmosphere is awesome, the food is awesome, and the service is awesome! To top things off, they have private igloo globe dining as well! Yes, they are novelties, but at the same time, a group splurge is worth it from time to time!

Beautiful venue! We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here and it could not have gone more smoothly! We rented the room upstairs and it was decked out with beautiful Christmas decorations. The food was soo good! The servers were very attentive to drinks and replenishing the food. We would definitely recommend Café Hollander Downer!

The newest menu provides so many great options for all types of eaters (vegetarians, keto, etc). What stands out is the high quality of ingredients used. Notice the orange yolks? Yep, that’s a good quality egg. Sheep milk feta, better flavor. Overall great options. Big on flavor, never boring. Neighborhood treasure for sure.

Pros: - good service - good food - nice setting Needs improvement: - expensive for what you get - Dutch place but no Dutch beer - Beers are expensive and only poured half full I recommend attending with a European attitude... expect to sit at your table for several hours and relax... drink and eat S L O W.... it's the best way to make the experience worthwhile.

Decided to take my parents out to eat to a nice spot and we chose Café Hollander. The Jambalaya was a hit, will definitely get it again. Also to top it off the service couldn’t have gone better, thanks Ava for everything! We will be back soon!

This is a funny story actually because I didn't have this man as my server but as I was enjoying my food at this amazing Cafe I had overheard the couple next to me talk about how great(and handsome) this guy was. Not thinking much of it, about a minute later their server had walked up to them and made sure they had everything they needed. I was sure they were talking about him. I found out his name was Kevin and I had to go up to him and tell him how I saw how much of a great time they had having him as their server and I hope next time I go, he's mine!

The food, atmosphere, and service staff were excellent. I had one of the best burgers ive ever had. My only complaint is the same type of complaint that i have at almost every bar in wisconsin. The serving sizes on the cheese curds are always too small.

Ingrid. I honestly cannot say anything much more grand than how phenomenal and understanding and accommodating our server was. There are so many highlights to speak about for Cafe Hollander, the menu, the atmosphere, the aesthetic, the theme, but it all really does pale in comparison to how the staff, while dealing with tight expectations, demanding customers, and their own physical limitations, will still provide every convenience and allowance as they can. We were terrible customers to them, moving tables and adding folks in late without notice, but Ingrid handled it with *poise*. Congratulations on continuing to show why Cafe Hollander has the reputation it does.

Food for the most part, was good. The tomatoe soup and grilled cheese were good. The only complaint I had was the cheddar biscuits in there Brew City Benedict was a little flat. I mean pancake flat so that disappointed me some but it had good flavor. Drinks and service were great.

A very cozy warm establishment. Friendly staff, delicious food and the vibes are immaculate. I would suggest going here for a first date, sunday brunch or family dinner. Would devour a meal there again.

Restaurant was about 85% full, short wait maybe 10 minutes max. Waitress and bar staff looked ample 5 waiters plus manager. Drink order was taken and delivered ok. Every time the out side door opened into the inside entry way we got a blast of cold winter air . No other tables available when we asked. Food took 20 to 30 minutes to arrive and was cold. My wife’s chicken was rather chewy.. it was a chicken wrap. Our daughter had the grilled cheese and tomato soup.. grilled cheese was cold. Waitress disappears, I’m 1/4 done with my food. I sent my food back, plate was wam but food was cold… Waitress kept disappearing , finally asked another waitress for our bill. $75.00 plus a tip later .. FACT I was not impressed.

WOW. I am a hard person to please when it comes to eating out but this place really surprised me. Pricing is fair, service was meh because it was rush hour, but the food was AMAZING! Although written in the menu they carefully select vendors, it is one thing to taste that on your plate. I ordered the berry waffle and sausage omelette, my friend the Eggs Benedict. We didn't talk for the first 20 minutes the food was so good! I will definitely be back! Hopefully I can change to 5 stars!

Update: Seems like they have new menus. Miss the old one since that was how I like the waffles and pancakes be done. Order togo and there was no folks no napkins as it used to be. Eating with bare hands now is my favorite. Never come back :((( Love the decoration. Food was great. Service was excellent.

From the location point of view, it is still great , but the Cafe Hollander that I used to know during last two years was perfect in terms of food. Recently, they have made some changes in their menu for example they have totally different salmon salads. I really prefer the old menu

These people know their beer and their food. Each dish comes with a beer pairing and they even have gluten free options (GF menu upon request)! Oh, and they really know how to make a great mimosa and a damn decent bloody Mary. We had a great service experience, too. Got a nice table outside with our party of 3. Service was quick and friendly. Currently menus are attainable outside via QR code. Most of the food options is $15+ which can get pricey quickly depending on what you get. Their cheese curds and sweet potato fries are great sides with a lot of dipping sauce choices.

I always try to visit Café Hollander whenever I come to Milwaukee, and I’m never disappointed! Their beer list is always stellar, with a good mix of local, domestic, and imported varieties. Our family reunion week started with a meeting here, outdoors, on a pleasant summer evening, as siblings, nieces and nephews met before dispersing to various area hotels. While waiting for delayed travelers from Chicago, we had burgers, salads and Jambalaya along with beers. All the food entrees were attractive and delicious. The beers selection had something for everyones' tastes ie gluten free, pilsners, duvels and tripels, as well as interesting cocktails and wines. Best of all was the service provided to us, (a noisy and disorganized, tired group,) by our server Ingrid. Ingrid was delightfully calm and pleasant, and knew the menu and beers very well. Her good humor lasted all evening as we added family members to our table, made phone calls and changed our minds about what we wanted. She has a lightness of being that made us feel so welcome after travel, and significantly contributed to us being able to relax and start our vacation in a beautiful way. We highly recommend the Cafe and Ingrid as a server.

Amazing Brunch! I walked in and found an open bar stool and was greeted by one of the bartenders very shortly after sitting. The place seemed very busy as most tables were occupied. Katelyn, the bartender recommended the berry blast mimosa which was fantastic so I went with her recommendation of the Short Rib Hash. The sauce made the dish and the contents cooked to perfection. Great food and even better service! Will definitely be back!

My friend and I had an early dinner out on the patio yesterday. The food was delicious but the real treat was our server Amelia! My friend’s dog Kiwi was in love with them! Along with our drinks, Amelia brought out a water bowl for Kiwi right when we got there. Kiwi and Amelia were immediately best friends! Amelia was knowledgeable, kind, funny and super friendly! We will definitely be back!

We had dinner here today and had a wonderful experience. Ingrid was very attentive and friendly, always checked on us to see if the food was fine or we needed anything. We wanted to see if we could switch to the table by the windows, Ingrid helped with that and made sure the table was clean. We enjoyed the meal and really appreciated Ingrid’s help!

Went for Brunch and was kinda disappointed. There were only 3 other tables in the restaurant, and 2 servers, yet our food took almost an hour to come out of the kitchen. When we did get it, the eggs and potatoes were very over-salted, and both dishes were cold, as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp for quite some time. The coffee was good, everything else was underwhelming.

Our family stopped by this cafe on a whim for brunch and we were very pleased we did. It seemed busy but we were well taken care of. The manager stopped by to check on us as well and she was very personable. The eggs for my Benedict could have been a tad more runny inside but that is just my personal preference. We showed up a little late for our dome and near the end of the night, worried that we were about to be the most annoying customers of the day. That may have been true, but Tony was amazingly kind, funny, and treated us like old friends that are also royalty. Our dome was great, heat was plentiful and very spacious. The lights and decor was a nice little touch too! Food was amazing, we did apps and split the chicken quinoa bowl. The brussel sprouts, I will dream of them... Great beer and cocktails too! We'll be back for sure.

Ken is the best server I have ever had. I brought my grandparents and my cousin from Texas to my favorite spot on the east side, Cafe Hollander Downer. After our meal, Ken recommended the ever delicious brownie and let me tell you, it was irresistible. Came here for my anniversary last night, great experience. We had the smoky burger and salmon, both of which were delicious, along with some of their specialty beers. Didn’t seem like we were inconveniencing with paying with multiple forms of payment even though I knew we were. He was super upbeat and positive. The longest brunch of my life! We got there, on Saturday late morning. 20 min wait. We get seated, no menu, no water. We got our water after asking 3 times. We order……. We waited and waited and waited AND WAITED!! After many apologies from our waiter, and after watching many others eat who arrived after we did…,,,THE FOOD CAME!!! Hallelujah!!!! The food was very good. Then again anything would have been good as we were starving. The manager did apologize and adjusted our bill. Which we did appreciate. So on that note. While the prices are right on the border of too much, the food was fantastic when we went there for a birthday. We got the Crunchy Dutch Meatballs with the curry ketchup. Both were excellent. I got the big smokey burger cooked medium and it actually came medium which was a surprise to me. Really good as well.

When I was in college, this was one of my favorite places. I once left because they did not have a Grand Cafe Club, THAT IS ONE OF THE BEST SANDWICHES I HAVE EVER HAD. I always get that when I go or now, since I moved away from Milwaukee, when I am in town. I went to brunch here, it was fine. I prefer the lunch/dinner menu better. Again, Grand Cafe Club. Sconnie Burger is pretty great, along with cheese curds. I love love this place. Now my brother goes to UWM, so I always tell him to stop by here once and a while for a good eat!

Excellent in every way. Wonderful atmosphere inside and outside. Warm dark woods and pleasant music. Seating upstairs, by the windows, at the bar, on the sidewalk or on the patio. Very clean and smelled wonderful. Service was prompt, professional and friendly. No Food is not that expensive considering local prices and the high quality of ingredients and creative preparation. It is hard to find places that serve fresh ground prime hamburger and are also willing to cook it to only medium rare. (You have to make sure you trust the cleanliness of the place to avoid food poisoning. I always check the bathrooms to see how clean they are. Only if they are spotless will I order medium rare ground meat.) Everything was prepared wonderfully and delicious. Highly recommend!

Excellent location. I enjoy all the Café Hollander locations. They have the most amazing bacon cheeseburgers! I really like the mussels too! I didn't try the mussels at this location but the burger tasted exactly the same as the others so I'd assume they have a good system in place to make sure there is consistency no matter which restaurant you dine at. This is one of my favorite restaurants and I was more than happy to find that they were one of the only places open on Christmas Eve so my mother and I could have lunch. I'll definitely be back!

Had a nice meal, waitress was friendly. We had a strange experience w the manager, who came over just to ask how everything was. My husband mentioned that, while it wasn’t a big deal, we were charged more for an item that had been substituted (bc they were out of the original item). I had ordered a veggie burger but then the waitress came back, asked if an impossible burger was ok bc they ran out, I said yes, and we were charged an extra $3. Again- not a huge deal but a bit of a surprise. We only mentioned it bc the mgr came to our table right when we got the bill. Wow was she rude about it. Acted like we were just outrageous for bringing it up. Such an unpleasant and awkward encounter. It was bizarre.

I was here twice in a 24 hour period. 1st time was late lunch early dinner. Even though the restaurant was pretty busy the waitress was able to get to us with our drinks and apps faster than I would have expected. The pretzel bites and beir cheese were some of the best I have ever had. The sliders with the jalapeño BBQ sauce had just the rite kick. 2nd time I went was a mid brunch time. And being from NJ we don't joke around with breakfast sandwiches. The breakfast sandwich I got was delicious! Different waitress this time just as friendly and fast! Having worked in the food industry I like to ask for a manager even if things are good just to see how they react to being asked for. I have a lot to say about Cafe Hollander. This establishment can do no wrong. It has no right being as good as it is. I ordered a pretzel bun breakfast sandwich with the perfect proportion of eggs, cheese, ham, garlic herb spread, and bacon. This breakfast Sammy was the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. My girlfriend had the basil berry french toast with the special cheese, and this french toast was also the best french toast I've ever had. The coffee drinks are delicious and made with great care. Everyone always looks like they are in bliss when they eat their food. The vibe of the place is warm and inviting. The wait staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. The food is also very reasonably priced. The location is convenient with decent street parking, not to mention it is a nice area with other good establishments around. TL;DR this is some of the best food in mikwaukee and you would be remiss to not eat here.

We walked into this floral temple dedicated to brunch and were told there would be a 20 minute wait. Given the idyllic morning, we thought a short walk would not be amiss while they prepared a place for us. But we could only count the time as lost, for when we were shown our table beneath a canopy rivaling the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, we were approached by a being composed of the pure light of wisdom and mirth. No, this was not one of the celestial creatures of Valinor. This was Ken. A greater combination of humility, kindness, and gentle guidance there never was. Ken led us down a path of flavor we would never have found alone. From the peaks of sweetness found in the berry basil French toast to the secret dwelling of the bacon breakfast tacos, to the salty sea of the Milwaukeean Bloody Mary, our experience of the world is forever change. Thank you, honorable Ken. You will always be remembered as the fairy godmother of brunch.

It was July 4th they were super busy, extra pleasant and somewhat empathetic. We had a party of 4 and there were tables outside that weren't reserved and they seemed to not want to push tables together. They said go inside pushed tables together. We ordered and it took 1 1/2 hours for our food. We were told our got pushed back😔. They took off our first round of drinks and gave a gift card in total of about $50 dollars not even half of the bill. It wasn't the servers fault he did an awesome job or the managers(directly) she was apologetic however I explained that she had two people from well established restaurants and they were more than disappointed. The gestures were good but if you wait that long any where the meal should have been free. Especially when told it will be up shortly several times and it didn't happen. The food was great I think, I was so hungry I didn't taste it. The bill got paid with a generous tip. I felt like I was talking to an insurance company after an accident, I am 20% responsible just because I was there. Don't know if I'll be back 🤔

Love their outdoor patio! The atmosphere is great and lively. The beer options are excellent. Service is quick and friendly. Cleanliness is 5 stars. Do note, on the patio there are always at least a few dogs. Parking in the area can be difficult because there are a few other restaurants and it's residential. So make sure to read the signs.

I went for lunch today and tried the biscuits and gravy because my waitress Cece recommended it. It was a great recommendation; they were delicious! It was a seasonal menu item, but I hope they add it to the menu! Cece was very kind and polite and did a really great job! :)

We were using vouchers for our meal and we put her through hell and back trying to use all of them to cover our meal, but she was so nice and patient with us and never made us feel like she didn’t care!! There is no place to wait during the cold so everyone stands next to your table while you're trying to eat. I love Café Hollander but I would rather go to a different location! If you're worried about this place being categorized as "Belgian restaurant", I think I can safely say that you shouldn't. It's not, in any way, anything more than what you expect for a normal American food. It's great, I loved this place, but it's normal, which is very good thing for me because I don't really, generally, like European cuisines. This place surpassed my expectations. The server was sweet and attentive and the atmosphere/ambience is very cool. Food was great and prices are very reasonable. They have outdoor seating on the lovely Historic Downer st. And the parking around the restaurant was no issue for us. I am coming again.

I always want to like Hollander more than I do. Here's why. The brunch is really good, but there's always something missing. I can't seem to have that perfect experience. Either the server is aloof, like last time. Or the food is bland. Don't get me wrong if you want something with heat it can be found here, but full of flavor.. Stick with something with a pot of dairy. The atmosphere is awesome, very urban, hipster after they get their first real job and want to spend their money on a good time. Very good beer selection.

We arrived early (around 5:00 pm on Saturday) and were seated right away. We ordered cheese curds for an appetizer and they were delicious. The menu options aren't your everyday burgers and sandwiches. I like that they offer up something a little different than everyone else. The beer selection was great. Our meals were prepared as ordered and arrived in a reasonable time. While we ate inside, there was a large outdoor dining area if that interests you. I would definitely go back.

Recently my wife and I shared a bottle of wine and the cheese plate (which I believe changes). We had an amazing time! I told my wife I thought the waitress was the best I’ve had in Milwaukee. She didn’t bother us too much but also didn’t neglect refilling waters and getting us more bread. The wine and cheese was wonderful also! Overall had a spectacular experience. Food is great, new menu (2019) offers great options, the dog-friendly patio is a five star experience on its own, and it's a local business, not a remotely-operated chain. Sit back, have a drink or two, enjoy your time on the patio, in the bar, or in their nice two-story indoor dining area, and have a good time. I live 1500 miles away, but eat here or attend events sponsored by them every few weeks throughout the year.

I would stay this is the best location to take your family if they are here for the visit. Not only is the location great but the service, selection of beer and food is to die for. They have so many beers on tap it is almost overwhelming. The food is very tasty and I would recommend the cafe burger for anyone that wants a great burger. The inside is very welcoming and has an interesting bicycle theme to it. The outside patio is very nice during the warm months. I would definitely recommend this place for a good date also.

Food: I had waffles with a side order of bacon. Both were essentially a bit tasteless. Waffles were competently cooked but lacked in taste, I HAD to use the overly sugary pecan butter with syrup to make it edible. The Glass o Bacon was good in texture but had very little taste - tasted the candied part of it plus a bit of pepper but what happened to the bacon taste? Service: I have mixed feelings about the service, but in the end, it was good overall. I got my food, not much else on drink refills or offers to, but got my check accurately - a very good thing considering there were 12 people, each of us with our own food and separate checks. Plus our waitress took care of one of my acquaintances when she discovered egg shells in her eggs Benedict - our waitress gave her a heavily discounted check for the shells. Bravo! Misc: Place seemed nice albeit crowded. Bathrooms are in the back and fairly clean. We initially attempted a reservation for a party of 12, and they could not guarantee such a large group, but this can be sorted out by 2 groups of 6 NEAR each other. Problem solved! The bunch of us went to Cafe Hollander for brunch, but they seem to have a good menu of other sandwiches and stuff, so its worth another try. Plus they do have beer and mixed drinks too.

The steaks are seared well and paired with unique sides, pasta's booming with flavor, and an excellent variety of beers and great tasting cocktails. Service was a bit poor, though. The food's size and presentation was also poor, in comparison to other Cafe Hollander locations.

They had some really fun spins on some classic dishes. If you are up for new and interesting foods this is your place. This would be a great spot to visit at night because they had a really nice bar. The bar is fine, but skip the food. The atmosphere is a great, relaxed, dark and European environment with a good selection of drinks, and makes for a decent place to meet friends for a couple drinks. The food doesn't measure up though. I ordered a 'sconnie burger done medium and frites. The burger was well-done, and just tasted like a wad of meat on a flavorless pretzel bun with no hint of the other ingredients listed on the menu, and the frites arrived cold. It's pretty obvious that the kitchen isn't managing their timing well, and things are being left to sit while other portions of the meal are cooked. If they pick up the quality in the kitchen, this would easily bump up to a 4 or 4 1/2 star review.

Ate here with my mother, who was visiting from out of town. I ordered the unlimited fish, but the problem was that it took 15 minutes for me to get my next plate. I would have eaten 3 or more plates, but after the 2nd helping took a while, I decided against it. It was very good though. The price was a little high, but not too bad. My family and I came on New Year’s day for brunch (as most of you “milwaukeens”—like the delicious bloody merry she recommended— know, this was a busy day for them) and our food was kinda reaching the table pretty slowly, cc entertained us and refilled our drinks for us. I ordered the brewcitty benedict and it was delicious! Shout out to the cooks, whoop whoop! The ambience and christmas decos were great! Overall, a 10/10 experience. Will visit again next year 😁

Ordered the jambalaya took one bite and it was the worst I have ever had. The server ask it was ok and she just laughes. At the same time my beer was empty and she justvwalks away. Came by twice more and I then was was asked if wantes another drink. Still no comment on the uneaten bowl of not even close to a jambalaya. Got my second beer and it was only after my third beer I was asked if everything was ok. And thats when she said she thought that I was trying to be funny. The Tripel Karmeleit was a great belguim beer had two. The Kwak was alraight it was al liitle to sweet for for my taste but good non the less. To ens it all off the server presented check and jambalaya was on the bill and when she came to get my card she had to ask a manager to take it off. Then acted Nonchalant about it.

Our waitress was nice, but didn't check on us, often leaving us without water and she only had 2 tables. I often saw her eating at the bar. The guava beer we had though from CA was phenomenal. If I came back, that'd be the only thing I ordered again.

They serve a truly disappointing Grand Cafe Club sandwich. The description sounded promising: shaved turkey, bacon, apples, red onions, cheddar cheese, roasted garlic aioli, Thai chili sauce on potato bread. However, what arrived at the table was a small sandwich (no third slice of bread) with a few slices of plain turkey loaf (not shaved). Overall the sandwich had an odd taste yet neither garlic or Thai chili was evident and there was no cheddar cheese. There was bacon - a full piece but it was hard as a rock and was pulled out whole in the first bite. Even by itself, the bacon required some serious chewing like a tough piece of jerky. For $12 this not-so-grand sandwich was a real letdown. The only highlight of the meal were the frites, and the prompt friendly service, thus the third star.

The environment is charming, and the atmosphere was busy and bustling at the time we went, which was around noon on a Sunday. The food was amazing, and we definitely plan to return. There was also a table of some of the most pretentious kids I have ever seen in my life. They spent 95% of time talking about their own intelligence loudly enough that it was clear they wanted the kind of attention they never received at home. The other 5% of the conversation was directed at disparaging SpongeBob SquarePants. In a way, the Café Hollander indirectly provided some of the best comedic entertainment we've seen in ages. Amazing food as always! I went for appetizers and drinks. The warm cheese plate was amazing and so were the mussels. The bread it comes with is also amazing, I wish I had more!

Mostly I was excited about how they had free tampons and pads in the women's bathroom, whose ever idea that was thank you so much! The food and everything was awesome too, and I also liked how large the beer menu was.

Stopped in for breakfast on a recommendation from a friend. Did not disappoint. We were there on Wednesday so no wait at all. Bineigts were amazing (seriously the chocolate sauce is crazy good). Apple Streussel french toast was perfect and the Messy Skillet loaded with meat, cheese and potatoes, how could you go wrong. Cant understand how this doesnt have a higher ranking!

Normally a big fan, but slow service as they overcooked my girlfriends meal, the manager came by to offer a free dessert but the waiter seemingly wasn't in the loop because the dessert was on our bill. We probably wouldn't have gotten one if it wasn't supposed to be free, pretty frustrating.
