Unique food and tastes. We got a variety of items, some were a hit and a couple came up short. If you are into trying out new foods, this is a great place to eat. Service was excellent! Four of us each had two drinks, shared 3 appitizers, and each had an entree and the bill was $250 with the tip. Overall, a great experience.

3.5 stars maybe? Food — delicious, let get that straight. Maybe not entirely worth the high cost. Quite disappointing to see that there is not a single vegetarian entree. Service — mediocre at best. Went on a Wednesday when they have drink specials and half off bottles of wine. Being a group of five we wanted to sit at a table for dinner and get a few bottles of wine. We were told we had to sit at the bar and that the specials are not available to people seated at the tables … I’m sorry what?? After asking how that makes any sense in the world we were able to sit at a table, ordered two bottles of wine and a few margaritas. I do not believe our waitress / bartender ever smiled or greeted us kindly — maybe she was having a rough day I am not sure. We thought she would be nicer after she spilled an entree right on the lap of my friend… she was not. Nor was there an offer to comp her meal — just re-plate her food. Cool cool. Ambiance is nice. Wine was decent. Prices are a little high in my opinion. Servings are on the smaller side. Everyone ordered double portions of ceviche. Thankfully I had left over Lulus to fill up on after.

What can I say? The menu is unlike any other! The food was fresh and delicious! Service was 5 star! We enjoyed appetizers, entrees and dessert.

One of the best restaurants in Milwaukee! Pictured is the ceviche nikkei, a Peruvian-Japanese fusion ceviche. The tuna was incredibly fresh and as were the cucumbers and avocado. Also pictured was the churrasco argentino and the tallarin saltado with steak. The steak was cooked perfectly and so tender. The biggest highlight was the tres leches. This was the best tres leches i’ve ever had and cannot be skipped. Overall it was a good visit and the service was great too!

The outdoor seating & live music was really lovely. The food was fresh tasting & there were many twists on different dishes but I wasn't wowed by any means. I have had a few homemde ceviche dishes that may have set the bar too high, IDK. The steak tacos were very tender, quality cuts of meat that were marinated & grilled really well. I also appreciate that I wasn't exposed to high levels of MSG - which seems to be the case with a lot of food.

Literally everything is delicious here. I always get a Ceviche de Camaron, La Chaufa de Pollo, and a mango juice, I 100% recommend. The service is also amazing, you will always feel welcomed and taken care of by the servers.

Tried C-Viche for the first time! It was really good. I got the chicken and noodles dish. It was $19 and it was a large portion haha. The wait was 45 min because we went on a Saturday night and there was a party. Great live music inside and out!

Milwaukee isn’t known for its seafood, but this place makes a mean ceviche anyway! Great patio with live music on a Friday night was a perfect way to start the weekend. We ordered a bunch of things to share, including 2 ceviches, grilled octopus and guacamole with fried plantains. The pisco punch was a perfect summer drink to pair with all the great acid, fresh flavors and fantastic seafood!

Delicious and authentic Peruvian food. The ceviche is a bit pricey but comes with a huge portion size - I recommend splitting this between 2-3 people. The alfajores were perfect.

Amazing food the shrimp c viche was very fresh and flavorful. A good proportion of food but not to much. Great service and inverment. Looked like they may have had a outside area may have to check it out next time. Great location for date night well light tables are devided by built plexy walls so your table is personal without feeling clustered. Also has a great view of the street.

Went there with some co workers and it was a vibe. I loved the food and drinks were great. Simon was out waiter and let me tell you that accent sign ya girl up. He was amazing. I had the enchiladas 😋. Definitely will be back.

Excellent Peruvian and Mexican food. Very good assortment of ceviches. The anticuchos and pollo a la brasa were some of my favorites. Portions are of descent size. There's some parking (5 spots) within the restaurant property, otherwise street parking is advised.

This was my fist time at C-viche and won't be my the last! The server, Madeline was very polite and helpful explaining the dishes, beverages, and made great recommendations. The food was amazing. Everything was fresh and prepared impeccably. The live music on the patio made my whole dinner experience magical. Strongly recommend.

The mixed ceviche can be an appetizer for 2 and is very decent. The real star was Lomo Saltado, basically a Peru style steak with potatoes which was amazing! I truly didn't hope for a steak that well made in this price range. The Saltado de Mariscos was the seafood version of this meal and it was too salty and intense, it could have been anything under those spices, really. Still, the cocktails and the Lomo Saltado were amazing so 5 stars it is.

Excellent food, drinks, and service. The ceviche was one of the best I've ever eaten. The grilled octopus appetizer was also great. All three of us at dinner enjoyed our entrees. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. I'll definitely return.

Food is amazing. Nice atmosphere. We even brought our 5 month old, son on a Saturday night. The live music was refreshing and not overly loud. Suggest med. Well if you like med. Steak. But otherwise a great experience.

Best restaurant in Milwaukee hands down. I've lived in this city for 12 years and I still can't find a restaurant that's nearly as good as C-viche. The staff are excellent the portions are perfect for the price and the drinks are amazing recommend it if you love flavor.

Celebrated my Bday w a small dinner party in an intimate space. Loved it. Marco(Marcito) served us w care...Reservation is easy to make on their website, deposit per head is necessito(10bucks) for your reservation. It is applied to your final bill. Final bill can be split amongst 4 cards. No individual checks for big party...easy experience.

Tough review to write so I referenced my date. I would rate more closely to 3.5 stars for the restaurant for a very delightful service. They had a unique a la carte and an extremely professional waitress who recently moved from Mexico that I’m so proud to say I’ll be visiting again soon! We just moved to the Bayview area, Thank you for an amazing full dining experience overall! The reason this is a 3 star is that so many citruses, zesty, sour foods cause me extreme heartburn! Lighter on the lime, citron, tomatoes, wine, or at least not at once restauranteurs!

Food was absolutely amazing, I really enjoyed the Ceviche Mixto (Peru), was delicious. The waitress (Belen) was very friendly and nice. The restaurant is very cozy. I could give 5 stars but unfortunately they didn't have all the beverages that they show in the menu that I wanted to try. For sure I will return next time I am in Milwaukee. I definitely recommended this place.

Really good food, service, and drinks. Worth the price for the quality but sadly because of that it won't be an every other weekend kind of place unless the people you go with like to split the food and bill which then its perfect for a casual night out

I am sooooo excited to have had experienced this restaurant. Small, quaint, charming spot in the Bay View area which was nicely decorated. But enough about that... the food was AMAZING!!!! My salmon, topped with sweet red peppers, onions was full of flavor, colorful and DELISH!!! And the sauce😋...I don't know what it was made of but it complimented the dish beautifully. I also tried a Peruvian inspired dish Anticuchos (beef hearts)and Esquite something like Mexican corn. The pictures don't do the flavors justice. Trust me.... if you like trying new food you WON'T BE disappointed!!!

My friend and I split the ceviche mixto, the ceviche Ecuatoriano, the yuca frita, the maracuya juice, and two desserts. Everything was so good I wanted to cry and the portions were more than adequate, we had to get a box for the yuca and desserts. The restaurant is also pretty and it's got a great patio area. Loved it

We sat outside and they turned an outside heater on for us. The food and waitstaff were superb! Our waitress was on her second day but kbew everything about the meal and drink menues. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal and service

I don't even have words for how much I enjoyed my meal here. I had the classic ceviche, but it was Taco Tuesday, so I also ordered a fish taco (and a Paloma and the flan + cake dessert- don't judge me) and all of it was perfection. The ceviche's leche de tigre was heavenly and the Paloma was sweet and salty and super refreshing. I can't wait to return!

We sat outside in the tent area and it was nicely set up for dining. I made reservations for 3 and was required to pay $10 per person as a deposit that was subtracted from my bill which I was fine with. The food was fantastic! We had the shrimp ceviche which had a generous amount of delicious shrimp tossed with lime juice and the freshest veggies. We all agreed we could have eaten it as a meal! We all ordered Peruvian dishes as a main course and they were delicious. Everything was so vibrant and fresh...it was intoxicating. Very generous helpings, we all took a container home with us. Service was OK and the drinks were great. HIGHLY recommend.

Impressed with staff under pressure. We have been going to C-Viche for years and the food, drinks, ambiance and service are always on point. We recently went during their extremely busy Valentine's day weekend Saturday dinner service and it was absolutely packed in there, but could tell the staff were hyper aware of what they had to do to keep things going smoothly that night. Waiting wasn't a problem and everything was amazing as usual.

The food was the best we have had in Milwaukee. The service was wonderful. Amazing music outside on the patio. Overall a great experience. Can't wait to go back. Also the portions were great. After reading reviews, I had high hopes but our food fell very flat. We ordered 3 entrees. A pasta dish, a chicken dish, and enchiladas. None of them was that great. My date didnt like his drink However, service was attentive, ambiance was nice. Best part was the Basa Nova live music... and my date.

Taco Tuesday is the best. They fired up the heaters on the patio for us and it was warm and cozy. The food was excellent. My second time visiting and the food has been amazing whatever I have ordered.

Dinner and brunch here are amazing. Best mole sauce and guacamole ever at dinner and the most creative and delicious brunch menu. Dinner is expensive but worth it, but brunch is very reasonable. You gotta try it.

This place is amazing! Let's start with the Pisco sour...all I can say is YUM! Ceviche Mixto for an appetizer was the perfect choice. The Churrasco was well prepared though, I would have liked a little more Chimichurri on top cuz it was delicious. Hands down my new favorite dish to eat is now the Tlacoyos. I am not a vegetarian and you do have protein options for this dish if you chose but it is soooo good by itself why bother! To finish we had the most delicious Churro ever! I wanted to try the purple corn cheescake but they were out of it so another reason, as if I needed one, to go back. It is rare to find a place that really hits all bullseyes but C-viche is on top of their game!

Came here cuz we didn't realize the Lost Whale didn't open til 5pm. Mainly came here to talk with some out of town friends. Ordered some delicious drinks and a plate of their classic ceviche, all of which were delicious. Got the perfect buzz from my drink but it wasn't so alcoholic that the flavor was lost. I got the Caipiginger. So good. It was also my first time trying ceviche and it was fantastic. We did sit there for 3 hours, which I felt bad about but luckily it wasn't too busy at the time we were there. The servers were so kind and professional and kept refilling our waters too. 10/10 would recommend just based off customer service alone, but the drinks and food are also worth it!

Great wine and cocktail selection. Food was wonderful as well! Guacamole appetizer was great and unique with plantains instead of chips. Husband ordered ceviche with ahi tuna and I ordered the chicken tinga tostadas and we were both very happy with our entrees. Service was also exceptional. Very welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

I've never had Ceviche before but this was absolutely delicious. Our waiter recommended some great drinks and was able to answer any questions. The food was awesome. My friend that came with me is a chef and so it is very difficult to find a restaurant that meets his expectations and he LOVED the food here so that's saying a lot! I will definitely be back!

Amazing Peruvian food. Everything on the menu looked amazing! We particularly enjoyed the ceviche and patatas bravas, but the lomo Saltado is a must have! We enjoyed the picarones for dessert. The staff is outstanding and there is live music every weekend.

Excellent food, really really yummy, but I’m disappointed about how the waitress treated us. She was kinda indifferent, I tried to not to overthink about it but then a whole white family came next to our table & she was totally nice and kind with them lol (we’re Latinos, also she is). I have to say that it was only that waitress, everyone else was kind with us. I don’t know her name, but she needs to be careful with her attitudes because the food was amazing but idk if I wanna go back soon because of that :/

My boyfriend left the waitress a $15 tip which I felt was too much, because my salad was missing the red peppers and dressing and I had to wait 5 minutes for her to come out of the bathroom just before closing. Horrible timing! My boyfriend loved the food, especially the homemade seafood fried rice. Overall my salad was good. It was my first time there which is why I'm so disappointed. I would give more stars if I were just judging the taste of the food. I'll have to try going back with hopefully a different waiter.

I found this quaint little place to be quite delicious. I was very pleased with the food, and they keep it true to the south and Central American delicacies. The service was alright, average at best. But one thing that I appreciated was that one of the waiters on break had some delicious looking food, and my friend asked about it. It wasn’t on the menu but the chef still made it for him. The South American feel was very real and the food put me right in a good place.

Fantastic Ceviche at C-Viche. I had the Ceviche Mixto and it did not disappoint. Have had a lot of Ceviche, mostly in Florida and do love Peruvian cuisine. Blown away by choices and how fresh the seafood is right in the heart of Bay View, WI. Great beer and wine selection and excellent location, outdoor seating and atmosphere.

I went on a Tuesday night to get the tacos! It was my second going here and the service was great, and so were the tacos. The only thing I have to complain about is that choice of rice OR beans. I chose rice and each grain was just so dry and hard like it had just come out of a microwave. I asked for beans instead as there was no way I could eat that rice. It came out super hot also like it had been microwaved(the dish it was in was also super hot).

I have only had appetizers and drinks here because of timing constraints, but the atmosphere is so great. Last time we were there the chef came out to talk to some friends and was telling us about interesting things on the menu and the influences his grandfather's recipes have on the dishes. The service is very friendly, the drinks are great, and you can tell there is effort put into presentation and preparation of food. The anticuchos are to die for. I get them every single time.

Went on a sunday night and service was pretty slow, it took about 30 minutes to order and food took about 45 minutes to come out after. It seemed as if they needed an extra waiter and possibly another cook. The food was delicious, I highly recommend the lomo saltado and the ceviche de Camaron, just block out a couple hours for dinner on a busy night.

My wife and I came here on Valentines weekend. It exceeded our expectations. Waiting staff was great. Food was great and reasonably priced. We ate Lomo Saltado, Ceviche peruano and plantains. Overall enjoyed our experience.

I've been here several times and haven't been disappointed once. The menu is fairly stable but there is enough variety to keep you interested. The ceviche has been consistently good and last time there I got to try the vegetarian variety which was excellent (in case you don't like fish). Staff is very friendly and service is consistent. Another excellent choice in Bay View!

I made reservations a while ago for my girlfriends birthday yesterday I had never been here before but was referred by a coworker. I reserved the Terraza which is the enclosed patio in the back. I was so happy with the service at C-Viche, my server Marcos was phenomenal. He was so pleasant and helpful with everything. The food was outstanding and delicious I couldn’t be happier with the service we received. My girlfriend and everyone loved it here. It was such a memorable experience and I will definitely be back! I wanted to love it, but I didn't. I think we might have liked it more on their taco Tuesday night. Food was fine, but not distinctive. Service was solid, but not remarkable. Prices were, relative to those experiences, high. Not a bad place, but not a good value. A bit on the loud side for conversation; lots of people would enjoy that part.

Great food, very flavorful and well presented. Restaurant is very loud, all hard surfaces, nothing to absorb sound. Difficult to converse with the other couple with us. Service was poor/indifferent. Had to ask multiple times for drinks with dinner. Server was not able to describe most of the dishes. Had the feeling she was a bus person filling-in for a waiter. Have heard good things about C-vice and we were disappointed with our visit. Maybe an off night for them?

Excellent food and excellent service. We went for my birthday lunch. There was just one waiter who also made the drinks. We wanted Bloody Mary's but he said the mix created at another of the owner's restaurants wasn't going to be delivered until the afternoon. Later he came up with a glass for me to try of a bloody Mary mix he created. It was great and unexpected. He made 2 full glasses for us.

By far, I had the best meal I have had in years. I had the Ceviche Mixto with a Caipurinha and it was delicious. The restaurant is small and noisy, full of happy chatting people really enjoying the food! The waitstaff is very friendly and attentive. Parking was a challenge on a Saturday night, but well worth the effort.

We had a mixed experience here. The service was good, and the ambience was fun. The presentation of the food was beautiful!! However, something was off about the flavors of the food and drinks. My drink (caipiginger) tasted almost like drinking pure lime juice, and the ceviche was similarly overly acidic with too much onion. It wasn't terrible, but I probably wouldn't go back. I love Latin American food and ceviche is one of my favorite dishes, so I am probably particularly picky about it. Also, the portions were huge!

This is one of Milwaukee's top restaurants. I believe the secret behind their success is that the owner Paco personally takes care of the restaurant, this ensures the best service. The restaurant is very cozy and intimate, it's the perfect place to a romantic date or just to have a few tequilas with your friend. This is my favorite Latin food resturant in Milwaukee. Menu has a variety of regional dishes as well as a nice selection of, you guessed it, civiche. Great to share or great for yourself if you are craving a fresh seafood dish. Great bar selection offering lots of Latin drinks and south american beers (at a great price too). Love going there and trying all the different regional beers. Service is always great. Make sure you make a reservation on their live music days or you will not have a seat!

Started off the meal with a chilcano and my friend got the a frothy green drink. Both were tasty and strong. Had the ceviche classic. It was tangy and avidic. I loved every bite. Then midway through the meal two gentlemen came in and played live music that fit the mood perfectly. Desert was a chocolate flan cake that was also pretty good. Highly recommend.

They mainly have a Peruvian cuisine and as a Peruvian ,I find the prices extremely offensive and a joke but it’s in bayview in this nice area full of other great restaurants, so no surprise. Music is not quiet so be aware of that,though theyll for sure turn it down if you ask. Also, food is EXTREMELY good and the anticuchos are probably my favorite thing. Service is a 5 and everyone says bye when you leave.

We ate at the Shorewood restaurant, which has only been open 2 weeks. The food was fantastic - truly great - although they got one order wrong, and it took quite a while to get a replacement dish. The portions were quite large - lunch for tomorrow! There were many dishes I wanted to try, and I’d love to eat there again - but it was SO LOUD I could hardly hear my dinner companion - and then they turned on the music. Great music, too - but man, they really need to add some sound dampener panels for me to be a regular. If the decibels were lower? This would be my new go-to place, five stars for sure.
