We visited Buck Bradley's for a weekend brunch, and it did not disappoint! There were 4 adults and 5 kids in our party, and our waitress (I believe her name was Laureen) was AMAZING. She was patient, thoughtful, attentive, and kind with our large group. The food was absolutely delicious. All of the adults got the breakfast sandwich with kielbasa and we were all impressed - the bread had the perfect texture, the kielbasa was smoky and delicious, and the sandwich was filling. The fries were also very good. We enjoyed our time there and will go back if we are in the area.

The bartenders and staff were very inviting and happy to assist each other. We played cribbage and had a great time. Food was wonderful and the sausage was sourced from across the street at Usingers! I can’t wait to go again.

High Speed

We stopped in before the Bon Jovi concert, the place is within walking distance of the Fiserv Forum. Unique interior with an extremely long bar, longest bar east of the Mississippi. Extremely busy but got seated in 20 minutes. Our server Patti was very friendly and attentive even though she was very busy. Food was very good with huge portions. My wife and I both had leftovers. We will definitely be back.

Staff here are super nice and know their menu well! They are super accommodating and welcoming! The food is great too! I got a salad, but my husband got one of the sandwiches and he enjoyed his food as well as the cheese curds they have! The people we went with enjoyed their food too. I only took a photo of my food though this time. Lol.

Stopped here for a quick drink before a concert and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very kind and quick to attend to us if we needed something. The outside may not look like much, however, on the inside is this incredibly long bar leading all the way to the other side of the building. We sat outside on the patio and had a nice evening, handicap ramps were even in place which was a nice surprise. I would come back here again.

Good place to go before or after a game or event as it is close to Fiserv Forum. Fairly typical bar food but a few other options. Son is vegetarian and I don't eat red meat and we found several options including salad and soup. Wife got a delicious grilled cheese. Oh ya, the physical bar (not the building itself) is the longest east of the Mississippi.

I loved my "Hot Hungarian" sausage and fries. Spicy but not too...fries were perfect. Good portion size. Kids' steaks were tasty. Nice beer selection. No food auctioning like I had at a purportedly much higher class place in Chicago (Gibson's Steakhouse). Friendly friendly service! I'll be back!

I just wanted to give a shout out to Erin the bartender who allowed a clearly troubled homeless man to sit down at the big bar and fed him knowing he was going to walk out on his tab. After he walked out she paid his tab out of her own pocket. This young lady impressed me so much. Excellent service and a heart of gold👍. Food never disappoints either at this age old staple in downtown Milwaukee.

Located in the beautiful Old World Ward amount numerous places to eat and drink. Went there after reading a couple reviews for, good food, nice service and the bar itself. The food was delicious we sat at the very long bar. The bartender was fabulous. The inside of the building is clean and very nice. READ THE BACK STORY OF THE BUILDING, very good info. I ordered a Reuben sandwich with fries and a side bowl of chili. My husband ordered the grilled cheese and fries. Everything was delicious. The sandwiches were perfectly toasted. The Fry's were crisp but still soft on the inside and preferably salted. The liquor selection OMG, that's allot. The service was great. Five stars across the board.

A beautiful bar on the edge of the Deer district. Very clean and friendly. They had a great food menu along with a choice of beers. The nacho supreme was pretty good. We actually were there twice in one day. Stopped for drinks and lunch. Then circled back again for a night cap. This establishment had that feeling of just being a place you wanted to be at. Jimbo was a great bartender. He took care of us both times we were in. Hard working crew all around from what I saw. I will stop again next time I'm in town.

The service was great! The waiter consistently made sure we had enough water and always checked up on us. The pretzel was SO soft and delicious. The beer cheese dip was good too. The Bronco burger was amazing.

Love this place. Food is fantastic and serves quickly. No Dilly dally especially when you are going to the Fiserv Forum. Beers are cold and drinks are just right. Plus the staff is spot on. Have Terry serve you at the bar. He's awesome. The pic is their Frisco Burger, medium rare! So yummy!!!

We threw a private party for my dad's 60th birthday at Buck Bradley's. Kristy was the event's manager and she did an amazing job with all the planning and making sure we kept within our budget. She was always quick with reply's sending pictures, and detailed information about the event. The room was a great space, we had 5 tables set for guests to sit and eat and then there was enough room at the bar for people to stand and socialize. Kristy also went out of her way to set up an extra table for us to put a cake and decorations on. There was enough space where we could set up an area for pictures. The buffet was set up in a separate room which helped keep the room open for our guests. Kristy was there when we needed her and made sure the room and guests were comfortable. The bartender did an amazing job with keeping up with our thirsty guests! I would highly recommend Buck Bradley's for dinner or a private event.

The people here are so nice. There is a huge bar with plenty of seating. They have one of my favorite soft pretzels in town. A great place to go before an event at the Fiserv.

Booked table for 12 on a Friday night online a few days in advance and they responded by calling me back right away. Very nice manager! Service was great--they offered separate checks right off the bat. It was chilly outside but warm and comfy at our table. Jumbo shrimp were very good! So large, super light, delicious breading. People liked the breaded cod as well, along with swordfish sandwich. Homemade new england clam chowder was delicious--nice smooth texture. Moscow mule also delicious. Our group was mostly women in their 30s to 70s. It was a nice close walk from the Marcus Center. I've been here before but didn't recall the food; it's been awhile. This was memorable and I will return!

Overall just OK. Service: Outstanding!! We had Joanne, she was so friendly and on top of everything. (She did smell like cigarettes...Joanne you should quit smoking!) Atmosphere: Good, but too dark. Food: Just OK. I would not go out of my way to eat here again. It was an OK place to grab a bite while downtown, but it really was not better than any Fridays or Applebee's. The burger was actually a disappointment, it was all bun and tomato. The menu says 1/2 pound burger, but it looses its appeal when you get a 1/2 pound slice of tomato and 1 pound bun. I also really don't like the glass ketchup bottles. It took forever to get ketchup flowing and then I ended up with 1/2 a bottle of ketchup on my burger. I think with attention to a few details this could have been a 4 or 5 star review.

Great place. Best bartenders and servers that are always on the ball and fun. The breakfast and bloodys are outstanding. Lunch and dinners are always great. Best ruben sandwich around. Bucks is my go to when I'm in town and it's walking distance to the theaters. Great place to watch a game.

The waitress my wife and I had was very nice and friendly, the problem was that the service was so slow. Refills took forever as well as getting our ticket. The food was very forgettable. Soup was a paste-like consistency and the salad seemed like it was shredded by a dog. Definitely had worse dining experiences, but certainly have had better.

Good service, good food. Stopped after disney on ice for our toddler to grab a snack. Cheese curds, fries, and chicken tenders. Cheese curds were good, but nothing spectacular. French fries were crisp and well seasoned, way above average. Chicken tenders were shockingly awesome. Huge tenders, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We were really impressed. The kid didn't eat any, but we did. Yum.

Stopped into Buck Bradley’s for dinner before a concert at the Fiserv Forum, and I was not disappointed! The atmosphere of the place was really nice, and the service and food were both fantastic. As I told the bartender who served me, I had one of the best Black & Bleu burgers I’ve had in a long time. I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in Milwaukee for a concert!

We had our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks here (private party) and it was AWESOME! Kristy was great to work work and would highly recommend Buck Bradley's for events. We also frequent the bar here. You may not think of Buck Bradley's for food, but I promise you will be impressed! Try the wings with the signature golden sauce or the Chicago hot dog.

Great spot for drinks and food, staff was phenomenal, Ron, Maura, Kaley and Brina all Excellent bartenders.. all others very friendly and attentive as well as hard working.. Only complaint.. the short bald gentleman behind the bar seemed to disrespect coworkers, did nothing compared to others and barked a lot of orders we felt was rude.. we were here for vacation and visited three different times, different hours and noticed same lack of work ethic compared to your other bartenders...

Was walking by this place on a Saturday morning and was suprised that they offered breakfast, so we ducked in and got some omelttes. Place is huge and eventhough there was 50 or so customers inside, it seemed empty....no complaints there. Super long bar....seats maybe 80 people? No joke. Nice interior, great back bar. Think 1920's as far as decor. Food was good, drinks were OK. Pretty pedestrian beer selection, especially for Milwaukee. My only issue with the establishment was the air conditioning. It was in the 80's outside, and it was pretty hot inside the bar. Wouldn't be a problem for most of the year, but we left immediately after our meals were consumed because it was uncomfortable. Other than that, a solid venue down in the Deer District. Stopped In to Buck Bradley's again this last weekend. Inside tempature was much better. That may be a result of a refurbished central air system, or the fact that it was -10° outside. Either way...much more comfortable. Beer selection was the same. I didn't expect a major deviation, but....one different micro would have been a pleasant suprise. Stuck with the Blue Moon. Biggest improvement was Kristina..Christina?? Anyway, she was a hoot. One of the more personable bartenders I've had in a while and eventhough she was new, she seemed in charge. I didn't order any food, but patrons around me were ordering the shrimp special, and it looked great! Everyone I asked said it was the bomb...so, yeah..I believe that. Will be back again. Don't take offense to my 4* review. 3* is average in my mind, so you guys are doing great!

The owner, Wally is amazing!! My siblings and I flew in from all over the country to watch the Bucks win the NBA FINALS. We called about 10 bars to make a reservation, and all were at capacity. Wally said he was also at capacity, but was able to make room for us. Wally, the bouncer Red, and the entire staff took such amazing care of us, treated us like VIP, and we had the most amazing time there, watching our Milwaukee Bucks win the NBA finals. The drinks and food were amazing, and even though it was jammed packed, the service was spectacular. Highly highly recommend Buck Bradley's to anyone looking for a great bar in downtown, or for a place to watch the game. Thank you Wally!!!

Fun atmosphere with great service. Ted was awesome and on point with friendly and quick service. Ordered cheese curds and clearly fried the curds in the same fryer as the fish fry. Our curds tasted like straight fish which was unpleasant. Other than that great place to hang in downtown Milwaukee

Me and a friend came here for dinner on the busiest night of the year (college basketball night). It was packed wall to wall. We didn't know what to expect but it was delightful. The food was delicious and priced fairly! Our waitress was on top of everything which was surprising being how insane this place was! The only downside was all the drunk college kids lol but it's not their fault. I'd recommend!

This bar is beautiful. Incredibly long (length) bar top. Nicely decorated with beautiful woodwork, photos and lighting. Friendly staff and good bartenders. Prices a little high but in downtown area it's expected I guess. Would recommend.

Private event space was great and reasonably priced. Food was good and service was terrific. Parking was not great but it could be worse. I was in fact offered shuttle service by the restaurant. I guess I know for next time to take advantage of their service. Although this was a corporate event, I would recommend them for any occasion.

The bar, in and of itself, is worth a visit. I have rarely found such a friendly and welcoming staff. The food is well prepared, slightly upscale, but not fussy bar food. The people who work there make this place special and then you add the great food, great drinks, and an amazing atmosphere, it's just what you're looking for!

Very old world feel to the place. Bar itself is extremely long with a beautiful backbar. My wife and I walked there before a show at the Riverside Theatre when we found out that all the places near the show had at least an hour wait. It's about a 10min walk, but well worth it. Food was very good. Probably the best chili I've ever had, and I get chili almost everywhere go. We will definitely make it one of our go to places in Milwaukee.

My wife was the maid of honor in a wedding in Milwaukee and the rehearsal dinner was here and let me tell you, the food was great! They had a spread of appetizers which was excellent, and for dinner they had a fish fry and a vegetarian option of veg lasagna, which personally the fish meal was great and from what I could tell so was the lasagna. The staff was very friendly and the history of the building was very interesting as well. Old world 3rd street is a great part of Milwaukee so the neighborhood is very nice as well.

Probably the best waitress service I've ever had, Walter was is the nicest and most professional host anyone could want, and the jumbo (14in) pretzel is game changing. Never knew what "gourmet" pretzels were til I had theirs. 10/10.

Reasonable downtown prices, fantastic food (try the cheese curds), and my soda was kept full. The atmosphere in the dining area, which is pretty well partitioned from the bar area, is really cool as well. This was a great find on my visit to the city.

After calling at least 15 places in Milwaukee to inquire about food allergy (gluten, dairy) accommodations we were super disappointed. Nobody had separate fryers for french fries and meat was already pre breaded so there was no option of just grilled plain chicken or pork. My daughter and me were super disappointed and our bellies were growling because we were so hungry. We decided to take one final walk and ask in person. We came across Buck Bradley’s Saloon. The lady (owner) that was standing outside approached us immediately. She said “ we can absolutely accommodate”, “we have a fryer just for french fries”, “ we can make grill chicken with some salt on it”. It brought me to tears. Only people with allergies or the ones that have kids with allergies will understand what I felt. The waitress, that took care of us, was super nice. She has a nephew with nut allergy and a fried with celiac disease so she understood our concerns. I had a beef burger with no bun and my daughter had grilled chicken with french fries ( we both have severe gluten and dairy sensitivity). My husband had ruben sandwich. Everything was super delicious. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!!! Next time we visit this beautiful place (Milwaukee) we will stop by at Buck Bradley’s for sure to have another amazing meal and a great service.

Our first time visiting Buck Bradley’s on 3rd Street, and left pleasantly surprised....for some odd reasons. Food: We looked into the menu ahead of time, and knew it would be mostly bar food. That said, we tried the cream of mushroom soup and Mozzerella sticks to start. The Soup was ok, but seemed pretty salty, and the mozz sticks were pretty chewy, especially for being in wanton wrappers. For our main meals, my wife had the mushroom swiss burger and I had the ruben. My wife’s burger was cooked well, and the ruben didn’t re-invent the wheel, but was still well crafted and good quality. Overall, the food was about what we expected. Ruben and burger were better than expected, apps and soup were worse than expected. Atmosphere: We really enjoyed the old world theme of the place. Very tall ceilings, old school decor with good TV placement makes for a unique but great place to watch a game. Definitely a place to visit at least once. Service: Our waitress was very nice and very observant. In general, the whole staff seemed kind. We visited during a quite time, so I am not sure about a busier time. My score: 7/10. An odd place to grade, as the best parts for us were the atmosphere and service. We would definitely go back to watch a game or grab some quick bar food, however we wouldn’t necessarily go back for the food alone.

We stumbled across this restaurant while driving around. We are from, California so we are use to traffic but this area felt like the 405 on Christmas morning. This place was classic, clean, breathtaking and the employees were very welcoming. It was clear we were from out of town. The food was delicious. If you are into those old Gangster movies like The Goodfellas or The God Father then you will LOVE this place. Down to the music they play. Ask for Maureen she is an amazing waitress.

Great food, good service also. Lighting is a little dim, but there are nice decorations on the walls and it is a fun environment. Would return to try something new off the menu. Highly recommend! Prices are also very reasonable.

I went there on a Friday. It didn't surprise me they were busy, but it did surprise me how quick I got my food and the wings were made to Perfection and I love that Golden Sauce. I look forward to going back to Buck Bradley's very soon

Our story begins with the John Mayer concert. It's 5:30. We are hungry and we survived the downtown traffic jams. Almost every bar is packed and most every restaurant is booked full. Open table can't save you and you can't choke down fast food today. It is nearing the sinister 6 o'clock and hope starts to slip away since the concert starts at 7:30 and the crowds are coming. And then, a beacon of light appears. It is Buck Bradley's and they're here to save the day with some quality food and lightening fast service. The service is the fastest I think I've seen out of all the restaurants I've been to downtown. I barely got a chance to read the menu and already my dad's drink and my soda were ready. The food was perfectly cooked and the portions are great. My dad has a massive sandwich and I was able to get a steak Sicilian despite it being an event night (thank you awesome server and staff for making it happen). We were done by 6:30 and even had a chance to chill by the river and buy merch before the show. Buck Bradley's is, in my opinion, a true hidden gem in Downtown Milwaukee. It is worth the discovery and it is perfect for getting some grub before catching a show at the Fiserv Forum.

While there isn't really anything super special that sticks out about this place, it is one of my favorite Old World Third Street spots, right behind Milwaukee Brat House and Uber Tap Room and Cheese Bar. I like the quieter atmosphere, and it is a pretty classy looking joint. They have a sports bar upstairs with a few pool tables and dart boars as well. The prices are reasonable and there is plenty of seating. Not a huge beer selection, but they have a few good ones.
