Reviews of Brunch
Amazing Experience, we are in town from Pennsylvania for a wedding, came around the corner of the Pfister Hotel and ran into this Gem of a Restaurant.
Gracie was our server, who made sure we were satisfied from the moment we walked until the moment we left.
Photos - Bacon infused Bloody Mary, Tequila Sunrise, sausage gravy and biscuits, Chorizo Scramble, and Breakfast Burrito.
We wanted to order everything as the menu is so diverse with great items from top to bottom, we will definitely be going back our next two mornings.
Got their omelet and a pancake on the side. Very tasty. Unique under the sea themed bathroom. Great coffee as well.
One thing I’ll give props for as well is great customer service.
Great little spot downtown. I walked here, about a half mile, from my hotel which was great. I was the only diner at 8:00am on a Thursday morning. My waitress Taylor was very attentive and great. The coffee was good, and I'm picky! I was worried that the food would be too sugary and that they would have their focus more on being creative than good-- I get suspicious of places that serve things Lucky Charms pancakes. But honestly, I loved what I ate. I tried the fried green tomatoes benedict with a lemonberry pancake as my side. The benedict was good-- not the best I've ever had, but the eggs were poached well and the overall flavors were nice. But that pancake-- man, oh man. Fresh blueberries, and a berry infused mascarpone on top. And the lemon drizzle-- it was seriously amazing. No syrup needed. I'd go back for sure when in Milkwaukee again!
Solid brunch place. I have Celiac and need to eat a safe gluten free meal. The hash browns ended up also being gluten free so I had the carnitas scramble which is pretty good. The kids menu has quiet a few options which was nice to see.
Not a ton of vegetarian options for the omelette or scrambles. I did love the 90s stuff on TV though!
The drinks are super expensive. $3.50 for drip coffee. $4 for oj or milk. My kids drinks were as expensive as their meal.
Food was good. A bit pricey as food for my daughter, niece and I was $67.00.
Cute menu but not sure it's worth ne going back the next time I'm in town.
Brunch was a fun stop to eat lunch (or all day brunch). The staff was friendly. The wait was not long. The food was yum, and so we're the beverages.
Great food as always! I usually go to the Brookfield location but this downtown location didn’t disappoint at all. The lemonberry pancakes are a favorite of mine & the flights of mimosas or Bloody Mary’s are fun options to get your drink on.
The food looked too good to eat it, it was more delicious than it looked. They may have the best eggs Benedict I have ever had. I'm in love 💕💕
Had the avacado blt and i lived it. Great coffee here too. You must visit the bathroom. Cool art! Fun place!
Quite busy but staff was still very friendly to my wild child. Took it to go. Enjoyed it, would love to come back when its not so busy. Added star for phenom egg :)
Great service! We were seated right away on a Thursday around 1130am. I really enjoyed the breakfast burrito with chorizo. Slightly spicy. Waffle fries were a little dry so I would probably try the tater tots next time. We also tried the chix and waffle sandwich. The sriracha aioli was a good touch and added some nice flavor.
I had the Harvest Hash with 2 eggs, which I thought was awesome so I am giving 5 stars. I will say that we had a big group and our original reservation was lost somehow. Thanks to our organizer, he walked over to the restaurant in the morning and got things straightened out, otherwise I think we would have been out of luck. Recommend you double check your reservation before heading to restaurant.
Came to celebrate my bachelorette weekend and knew we had to come when we saw mimosa and bloody flights. We had about a 45 minute wait but it was so worth it. The food was amazing! Highly recommend coming in!
We stayed at the Pfister for a night and this place was recommended to us for breakfast in the morning. It's a bright and cheery place with a ton of great options on the menu. I had the harvest bowl with two eggs and it was soooo good. So many great veggies blended so well with crispy hash browns and all seasoned to perfection. Don't sleep on the chimi-churri sauce or the maple chili sauce. Both are made at the restaurant and literally make the meal. My husband had the chimi on his avocado toast. We actually bought a bottle of the chimi for $5 to take home. A note though.. they have 3 kinds of bacon (honey bacon slaps) and you can get a bacon flight for $13 (2/each kind of bacon). But you can get 2 pieces of bacon a la carte for $4. Do the math a choose wisely my friends.
Ever since this place opened, it has been one of my favorite brunch spots in Milwaukee. I came here on Sunday morning with my fiance and we only had to wait about 20 minutes. Our food and drinks were outstanding as always, but this review is moreso about my particular experience at Brunch that morning.
As my fiance and I waited on the sidewalk for our table to be available, I noticed nearby groups complaining about a 45 minute wait (we seemed to have "beat the rush"). I work at another breakfast restaurant in this city and let me tell you...if you don't have time to wait for your table or for your food, go home and make your own meal!! (Side note...45 minutes isn't even that long of a wait at a BREAKFAST restaurant on a SUNDAY morning. I've heard of places having waits well over 90 minutes). My heart went out to the staff scrambling to apologize to impatient guests, explaining that there were only two servers working that morning. I saw the hostess and bussers jumping in to help the servers, I even saw the food runner doing extra tasks. All hands were on deck that morning, and as a fellow restaurant worker in this staff shortage world, I must say KEEP DOING YOU. Y'all had top notch customer service to guests whose attitudes didn't deserve your kindness. I applaud the way everyone at this restaurant maintained friendliness and attention to guest needs on such a busy morning. That is hard to come by for individual servers, let alone an entire staff.
To the impatient guests of this restaurant and all other restaurants in Milwaukee -- our industry is HURTING, and some kindness, patience, and understanding goes a long way.
Avocado toast was freaking heaven. I want to cry because I can’t take the leftovers with me.
Tried my friend’s chicken and waffles and messed my underwear.
Y’all…go here now.
I kind of don’t want to leave.
Food met expectations for brunch, drinks are great, price is about what you would expect. The wait time is always insane and the restaurant is always packed, get here early if you can.
I’ve come here at least 20x in the last year. If not by myself to grab some pancakes and waffle fries.. or with a group of loved ones and I’m eating the dad bod with bottomless mimosas. I enjoy this restaurant not only because they have great food but also great service. I never left there dissatisfied. Rarely ever had any problems whatsoever and that makes a great establishment. Not just the food but the customer service as well.
We (4 of us) had an attentive and cheerful waitress. The menu is great and our food was excellent! Also the coffee is delicious and smooth, not like some coffee chains that charge a lot for burnt beans.
this place! OMG i am visiting from out of town & i am IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE! i would honestly drive the five hours here again just to visit this place. everything was piping hot, tasted amazing, & from food order time to actually getting the food was honestly probably only about 30 minutes or so. i sat at the bar because it was full service $ just open seating. the bar staff was awesome. good moods all around
This spot is very nice and the food is DELICIOUS! Susie was fabulous and very sweet. My son, who is very much like his momma, a food critic, even said he wants to come back tomorrow lol! It is good for family, friends or a date. Y'all better check them out.
Not bad not great. Solid place for brunch. I had the chorizo scramble which was tasty. I liked the cashless payment. Very friendly and helpful servers.
I'll start by saying Sunday's are definitely busy and they don't take reservations. We were told a 45 min wait but, they have seating at the bar. They have a bar upstairs also and thankfully there were seats available. The food was great. The french toast sticks were amazing! I had the Florentine Benedict which was also good. The only negative thing was we were sitting at the end of the bar and there were stacks of dirty glasses in front of where my friend was sitting.
Very friendly and cozy place! Food was so good and mimosa flights were great! Best French toast I have ever had and service was very quick! Definitely recommend joining wait list to avoid wait on tables
Delicious food, strong mimosas, good atmosphere. Will definitely be back again!
The staff was great and so was the drinks!
The food was ok, if they would add a little more seasoning to there meat it would have pushed it to 5 stars. I loved the atmosphere and I plan on going back. They have a small but interesting menu. I'm very curious about some other dishes.
Oh yeah, try the cinnamon roll. It won't disappoint!
Unique menu and the food was great! Eggs inside these breakfast egg rolls were surprisingly fluffy and the sauce it was served with definitely had a bigger kick than expected. 4 stars however as I don’t feel the value was great. $4 for this little side of hash browns? Also as mentioned in other reviews the service is.... lacking.
Stopped for breakfast while driving through. Delicious and larger servings of food! Alcoholic drink options a-plenty! Most dishes are about $12-16, which I thought were reasonable for a brunch place.
Women’s bathroom does have nautical theme, which was pretty cool and unexpected!
Good food but the place right now is overwhelmed with construction. It’s very hard to get to if you are not from the area. In my opinion it’s kind of pricey but good quality. The atmosphere is so so. Take or leave it really. Staff were a bit off but I couldn’t put my finger on why (Although they were nice). I’d say try it but don’t go out of your way.
Pros 😊
- We were able to use NOWAIT app to make reservations
- Nice atmosphere and good corner location
- Crab Benedict, steel cut oatmeal and truffle fries were tasty.
- Mimosas were very good!!
Cons 😐
- Wait staff was friendly but no too responsive
- I ordered avocado blt and they charged $2 extra for fruit instead of fries (really??). Ridiculous...
- Bacon flight was underwhelming (ribs were best part)
Overall it's just ok 👌
As a huge fan of brunch and breakfast in general, I'll admit I'm inclined to be enthusiastic about the fare from the get-go...so I made two trips here to ensure this wasn't just a case of rose-colored glasses.
The first time around I was pleasantly impressed with the variety on the menu - from sweet brunch to savory lunch, there's a bit to choose from. Once my eyes landed on the Mac & cheese burrito, I was sold. This comes with some huge noodles and creamy cheese gently wrapped in a large tortilla, with a toasty "brunch" of approval on top to seal the deal. It also comes with chorizo and egg to add a little protein to the equation and keep things savory. This one is a generous size, so saving half for later was easy.
Also an easy choice as I ordered the Sweet-Tart yogurt parfait to share. It comes with honeycomb which was an amazing natural way to satisfy my sweet tooth. Don't let the Lighter Fare title fool you: this one comes in almost a bowl size.
The second time around I went for a little crunch in my brunch and got the Egg White Brunchtada. Also on the Lighter Fare, but the two heaping tostadas are enough for a decent meal. Added the chorizo for a spicy kick and would definitely recommend. My S/O went with the Biscuit & Gravy Benedict, and boy was that sausage some of the best! Also a little spicy, so added some good flavor to the savory biscuits.
Friendly staff and good food. We visited on a Saturday morning, were immediately seated and served quickly. My husband ordered the Brunch Benedict and thought it was solidly good, but not amazing. My Vegan Hash was similarly good but not outstanding. Eggs were poached perfectly and the Hash was nicely cooked, but it needed more seasonings and perhaps higher quality ingredients to make this a spectacular dish. I will come back again, but it won't replace my favorite "go-to" brunch places (The Knick, Smyth, and Simple).
Phoebe did a great job taking our orders and making sure we had everything we needed. The service team was fast to seat us, and accommodating to our dietary needs. She checked back in with us at the offset as well as the halfway point to make sure our orders were correct, and that we were nothing less than satisfied. The color scheme inside is warm and inviting, and their coffee is a respectable mild blend. Will definitely make a return trip in the not-so distant future.
LOVED the biscuits and gravy Benedict! Seriously the best thing I've probably had from any breakfast establishment!! The menu had tons of options, and also they have some great drink options. It's breakfast meets bar and it's seriously great! We had a toffee coffee, which is a boozy coffee, and it was like a coffee lovers equivalent to a mimosa. Definitely worth the stop!
Last day in Milwaukee and needed a good breakfast before driving home. Everything hit the spot.
I am a Milwaukee native and was recently back home visiting, and I absolutely loved this place! I loved the mimosa flight, and the food was pretty good. What I remember most about my visit here was the customer service. Huge shoutout to the manager, Bracey (sp?)! They were very busy at the time of our reservation, but Bracey made sure we were able to be seated and were were taken care of while dining. When you are choosing to dine somewhere, of course you want to enjoy the food and drinks, but sometimes how you rate a diner is based off the experience they create for you. I had not been back home to Milwaukee in almost two years due to the pandemic, and dining here was like a big hug, a warm welcome home. Thank you for having me, and I'll make sure I visit again the next time I'm home! <3
This is a good spot for a good brunch, mimosa flight and hazelnut coffee is where they had me. Also great Benedict selections. Small space, wait staff were busy but weren't too welcoming either, maybe just having a bad day. I would return, food was good.
I liked Brunch a lot. The food was great and having Rishi tea was a great touch! The only thing I noticed is that the restaurant itself could use some work to update it.
Yummy avacado sourdough toast with 2 medium eggs and picante tomatos, onions. A little pricey.
Amazing food! Staff were friendly and attentive! Very clean restaurant. The menu had a lot of options. We will definitely be coming back!
Brunch offers a good menu selection of comfort food with an above average price tag. The interior of the restaurant has a nice open feel with Simpsons, and other movie/tv show decor. The service we received was very good, along with the majority of the food we ordered:
Lemonberry Pancake: 5 star
Baconcake: 5 star
Biscuit & Gravy Benedict: 4 star
S'more Pancake: 3 star
Bluth Banana Pancake: 3 star
The Coffee was also lackluster. Brunch may also want to update their menu to cover up-charges on A La Carte items. Overall Brunch delivers a solid experience, with above average food.
What an amazing breakfast/brunch spot. The Benedict is to die for. Awesome location for a bite before exploring Milwaukee.
Brunch was our first experience with bottomless mimosas. It was Great! Great food, Great service, Great atmosphere! We will definitely be back.
Dad Bod breakfast, cinnamon pancakes, raspberry lemon pancakes!
The chicken and Waffle Sandwich was good. Just wish the maple butter was more maple tasting then butter Or just use syrup instead. Otherwise cute place. Finding parking kind of sucks. LOVE Zach Morris in the ladies bathroom
For breakfast/brunch until.early afternoon, a good choice in downtown Milwaukee. Ample menu with about anything you might want. Service was friendly.
I had the Nashville Hot (poached eggs, fried chicken patties in hot sauce, buttermilk biscuit, hollandaise sauce) for $13.00. I normally don't finish a large portion of food but this dish was so incredibly good I ate it all except for some of the potatoes that were included. It is definitely spicy which I like! My friend had the breakfast egg rolls and was very happy with her choice. Service was great!! Brunch is cashless and the staff was masked which was very much appreciated! Sitting by the door can be chilly with people going in and out, a minor downside but enough reason to rate this experience as 4 vs 5 stars. Will return!
Great place to chill and dine. You will never be disappointed with the entries they have, and the quantities and qualities given.
Delicious food in a relaxed environment. Cashless pay syatem. Plus bottomless mimosas! What can go wrong?
I am absolutely obsessed with this restaurant. The breakfast is subpar. My french toast was okay. BUT I gave this place 5 stars cause they play absolute BANGERS here. I don’t know if it’s a workers Spotify playlist or radio station. A lot of One Direction, 5SOS, Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, and more. Zero skips. NOT TO MENTION THEY HAD HAMILTON PLAYING ON THE TV! HELLO?! This restaurant is perfect if you want a Bloody Mary and absolutely jam out.
Food was very good! Important part of any restaurant. Having said that, I just could not stop thinking that I was paying far too much for the quantity and quality. It was very good, don’t get me wrong, but with the price for 2 people eating a nice version of coffee, bacon, eggs, and toast, I just can’t justify returning. Maybe one day.
Went here for my birthday brunch with my family and friends yesterday, it was so good! We loved the clean and bright atmosphere, accommodating staff, and of course the food was delish. Zak was our waiter and bartender that day, and made sure everything was super special for my birthday. I got a chocolate covered waffle with a candle on it, so cute. Great coffee too that apparently was specially made for their restaurant. Bar dice all day too! Chicken and waffle sandwich was good, but I thought the pancakes were just excellent. Blueberry and lemon. Yum.
Came back another time, I go here all the time now. Burger was hot and juicy, fries were great, mimosas were exactly what you expected. The shining star today was Allesandra! She got our order just right and was friendly and attentive!
Reminds me of an Egg & I that started to serve alcohol. Staff is friendly and the service is fast. Mix of mid-to-late 20s brunchers and families with toddlers. The omelettes and crab benedict were fine, nothing crazy, and reasonably priced.
This is a nice breakfast place. Pricing was moderate. Spacious location with a friendly staff.
Food was great. Went to celebrate my birthday had “bottle service”. $25 for a bottle of champagne and unlimited juice.
Great service, big portions, and a nice event space when the occasion calls for it. Have frequented and recommend
The food was SO GOOD. We got the biscuits & gravy benedict and the pancake special of the month and they were both delicious and I felt the prices were reasonable for what we got. Would definitely recommend this place!
Terribly under serviced, had to ask twice for just about everything. Food was delicious though and once I realized I had to be proactive with the waitstaff it went smoother.
I ordered the eggs Benedict with a spiked coffee to start the day and it was excellent! The service was wonderful and the food came out quickly. Very happy with this place.
Great time, brunch located near the Pfister is a sleek and sheik, recommend the pineapple mimosa and hangover burrito. This place does it right! Brunch life!
The menu featured an option for everyone. Service was fast and attentive. We had the Breakfast Sandwich and Lemonberry Pancakes. One wall featured Simspons figurines and the molding held alarm clocks.
My wife and I ate here yesterday for Saturday brunch. She had the harvest hash and I the avocado egg BLT. Both were very good and we'd enjoy coming back.
It's a little pricey but it's downtown so that was not unexpected. The menu was interesting enough where I would like to go back and try more of it. Finally the bottomless mimosa for the price of two mimosas is a great deal when I drank about seven or eight. Get your money's worth and you'll have a great time.
Although Brunch has a beautiful ambiance, it’s the service that stands out the most. As far as the food goes I’ve had the chicken and waffles (5 stars), chorizo scramble (4 stars), breakfast burrito (5 starts, it’s ginormous), all of the Benedict’s (4.5 stars, biscuit and gravy 5 stars and a must try). Pancake of the month (5 stars). Breakfast egg rolls (4 stars if you like hot sauce then 5). As far as drinks: bro mimosa (4 stars with orange juice and 5 stars with cranberry juice. Personal preference.). Bottomless mimosas (5 stars for taste and 5 stars for presentation). Screwdriver (5 stars).
The staff all deserve 5 stars. They are attentive, engaging, and are always willing to participate in a conversation. They go above and beyond expectations and deserve much praise for their hard work.
5/5.
The food was ok. The presentation could have been better. The hash in my corned beef and hash was seasoned great but could've used more corned beef. I'd give the place another try by I wasn't impressed upon the first visit.
If your bottom floor bathrooms are going to be out of order, please put it somewhere on your website so that we don’t waste an hour on the waitlist only to find that our party member in a wheelchair can’t be accommodated.
Good for a casual brunch when you're craving comfort food. Hot coffee while you wait. Service was good, they accommodated changes and prices were very reasonable.
Smart, creative, well executed menu. If you live in Milwaukee, you know the breakfast staff suffer the same hangovers as the rest of the city. I was one of the early customers. Folks were coming up to speed. But it didn't take them long to coalesce, conversate, and provide excellent service. The recommended Nashville style Benedict was fantastic. Coffee perfect and strong. Just enough chit chat to make you enjoy the day. Restaurant is impeccably clean. This is a high recommendation you should go here. You always want to eat with pros.
Update: 3/22 Still excellent. Crispy potatoes and salty servers. I appreciate that the portion size is for normal people, not mounds and pounds. Well done indeed.
Exactly what you would expect - delicious!
I know a lot of people are commenting about the food. It was spectacular and my friends and I enjoyed it on our trip to Milwaukee last week. But, I want to say thank you to all the staff for all the hard work. Friday was a busy day and yes we had to wait 20 minutes for a spot but, when we were sitting we noticed how hard everyone is working. The waitress took our order also made our drinks and checked on us every 10 minutes we appreciate the care we were given. I will definitely recommend this to my other friends in Wisconsin and future summer fest patrons.
Great spot for breakfast fair with a twist! They were extremely short staffed when we stopped in so it took a fair bit longer to get served, but I will still come back as the food and the service that we received was excellent!
Pretty good breakfast in Milwaukee, a little on the pricy side for some items (bacon flight for example). The coffee we got was either sitting in the pot since the morning (went for lunch) or their specialize blend just tastes old.
Rest of the food was good and will be going back again to try more.
Great brunch after an evening out. Very accommodating wait staff and no problem making changes to menu items. Hot coffee while you wait for a table.
Such am amazing little restaurant! We had great service and the food was unique and delicious! I ordered the mac and cheese breakfast burrito and fell in love!
Pros:
1. Server was friendly & checked on our party regularly
2. The place was clean
3. The wait for the food to come out wasn't long
4. All items ordered came out fresh
5. All items (save for one) tasted good
Cons:
1. The table we were seated at was uneven causing our glasses to slide around
2. One item (Corned Beef Hash) while fresh simply didn't taste good (personal preference, wouldn't recommend you order it)
3. The seating/space in general is kind of limited
Closing Thoughts:
I would 100% recommend this spot for your Saturday or Sunday brunch. The highlight for me was the taste of the Benedict Nashville Hot which I definitely would recommend. The French Toast Sticks & Breakfast Potatoes were both good & worth a order as well. Besides the wobbly table + slightly cramped space I can say that overall I had a good time & will be coming back again!
Food was very creative and GF friendly. Service was fantastic, fun warm atmosphere
Service was amazing. Food was great, and didn’t wait long at all. Server Ashley was the best ever. Went above and beyond! She deserves a gold medal.
The food was really good I had the chorizo scramble. The pancakes were a little thin like a crepe. The coffee tasted very diluted like instant coffee. The bacon was thick and really good but it could have been fried a little longer but overall the food was great!
Absolutely love this place! Location is perfect and the food is of course always excellent. Friendly staff and the owners are absolutely great people!
Solid service, cute place, just worst corn beef and hash I’ve ever had 😅 soggy hash with like 10 small cubes of beef. Chicken and waffles are great tho! Will be back, just not for the hash.
By far the best omelet I have ever had! Everything was extremely fresh and well cooked. The restaurant was busy but none of the employees felt stressed which was a good feeling.
Nothing but good things to say about this small breakfast place. Great visit for any locals or tourists!
Lovely decor and atmosphere. Diverse drink and food menu. Good prices. I was a big fan of the omelette selection and their in-house hot sauce. Their breakfast potatoes were dry and cold and the fruit bowl was a sad stack of grapes and honeydew.
There was a great staff and it was because of how lovely the server was that I am writing this
As a former restaurant professional I found it incongruous for them to say that they only accept card as payment.
Cash is not an acceptable form of payment at this establishment.
While I no doubt see the pros for the business itself: CRM , Apple Pay, no threat of robbery or trips to the bank
There are some glaring downsides to this both from a business standpoint and a consumer standpoint
1) any waiter knows that there is a lovely undercurrent of a cash economy where you’re tipping out bartenders expediters bussers, hosts and cooks all in a wonderful tax-free environment. I personally don’t believe the waiter should be taxed on their tips because it’s a charitable choice for a customer to give that person money for a job well done. Going cashless actually DOES hurt a wait staff because now they are guaranteed to be getting taxed on gratuity
Guests who pay with a card are less likely to tip with cash.
I would not be in favor of this cashless environment if I was a waiter today. Going cashless means I’m making less money as a waiter.
2) it’s ageist and elitist. This Particular restaurant wasn’t without its snooty Gen Z elitism and the cashless system didn’t help that vibe.
Older patrons like to use cash
People without bank accounts need to use cash
Sometimes cash is a better option for those who do work in fields where cash is changing hands.
For various reasons it’s better for some people to pay with cash rather have it show up on a bank statement.
Not to mention those with poor credit history who are Forced to use expensive prepaid debit cards with high use fees and transactions fees or credit cards with predatorial practices and high interest rates. Pretty classist move for a downtown diner to not accept cash.
3) Credit card processing companies are offering competitive transactions fees because they’re looking to disrupt and compete against cash as a form of payment and legacy payment companies. But once these new players have established themselves what’s to stop them from ratcheting up their prices.
Having a diverse payment platform system keeps those transactions fees low so they don’t get passed on to the consumer.
Be careful when you dance with the devil
4) Glitches
The visa outage last June showed how vulnerable the system still is
5) I would expect a cashless environment at a quick service restaurant where you order at the counter because they’re trying to save time and move the line along… So to go cashless at a restaurant with waitstaff seems like a step in the wrong direction and not catering to the needs of the clientele
I understand how hard the restaurants have been getting hit, I also understand how hard the staff of restaurants have been affected economically.
The while the aesthetic and menu has this hip and youthful atmosphere it’s a cashless policy is in direct contrast with the needs of its hip and youthful staff.
Best menu and great service! This is my boyfriend and I’s new go-to brunch spot, highly recommend as long as you can beat the line!
Allison is an amazing server, will definitely be back!
Great place for.. guess what Brunch!! Our server, Zach, was excellent!!
Great for brunch. Excellent service (server), BRUNCH SPATZLE, Emergen C hangover drink is good. Rishi tea. Biscuits and gravy. OJ
Zak, our server, was great and accommodating to our larger group. Food was decent. They have bloody mary flights!
We came here 3 out of 3 mornings while staying from out of town. We loved the staff but the food even more! They had fantastic options for food and some of the most delicious drinks (the bloody marys are phenomenal!)
Friendly, quick sevice in a bright clean environment. The food was delicious and customizable. We got the sausage and gravy eggs benedict with cheese covered hashbrowns. 😋 …
Some of the best food if not breakfast food I've ever had.
The mimosas are pretty tasty and potent. The staff is great, and I was very impressed with pretty much everything.
We had a great experience at Brunch in Milwaukee. Food was really good, service was great. Our server, Lauren P. Did a great job with fulfilling our needs. We will definitely be back!
Wonderful selection of various mimosas.
The food was good, but the carry-out experience was not. We were staying at a hotel downtown, and when we got back to the hotel with our order we realized they had forgotten both of our sides. They could have a better system for verifying that orders are correct. The bag was tied shut, and we had to walk half a mile to get back to our hotel. Annoyed!
Great place the food was delicious and the staff was great and friendly. Definitely going to eat there again when am in town again.
The most rewarding experience here was the napkins. Perfectly folded, positioned on the right side (which is my dominant eating hand), and eloquently cleaned. However, there was a dirty knife inside, and no fork. It was very hard to eat my poached egg over a bed of maple ripened toast. Overall, I would recommend this establishment for future brunches. However, ask for a spoon as it was not served with my meal: and I need this for my annual dip test after my Saturday afternoon meals.
Been here a couple times and referred family. Every time I experience or hear how good it is!
Overall the experience was good. Our server was tentative and very nice. I had the biscuits and gravy Benedict which had good flavor, but the sausage patties were very hard. My friend also ordered the same item and had the same toughness on the sausage patties. I assume was just a fluke. Would recommend to others.
Came here for the first time recently. Waited a little long to be seated given what was not a busy time. A suggestion; if guests are waiting to be seated, ask them if they would like a cocktail, coffee, water, etc etc while they wait. Would be a nice touch. House coffee is very good. All the food was great. Highly recommend the brunch benedict. Great selection of hot sauces which you don't get at a lot of places. Staff was friendly but at times seemed a little pretentious. Maybe just an off day. Food and experience was certainly good enough overall for me to return next time I'm in town. Quite possibly one of the best morning meals in the city. Couple things to iron out and it's a 5 star.
I took my daughter for brunch while staying in Milwaukee for the weekend. My mimosa flight arrived warm and it took a very long time for our food to come. But the mimosas were tasty, fun flavors, and our food was very good. My daughter absolutely loved her S'mores pancake. It's a neat spot.
Amazing food and atmosphere! Great place for an affordable larger portion sizes.
French press coffee had grounds in it.
The server was very nice.
Pancake of the month was very good.
Quinoa was greasy. Not fresh tasting.
I wouldn't have the beef hash.
Great place with wide selection of brunch items and really friendly staff. I got the breakfast tacos
Happening spot for weekend brunch. They had no problem accommodating a large party of 20 by calling ahead 2 hrs before. Food was delicious.
Food was amazing! Service was great. We had a party of 7, but it was no problem for them all the food came out perfect, timely and hot!
Great food and service. My son treated me to brunch for my birthday.
Service and food was fire 🔥. I highly recommend the cinnamon pancakes !!! …
Food was good, but a bit pricey. I've had good breakfasts well worth the price, but it's a tough swallow to want to spend $2 a slice for bacon. I mean, I love the stuff, but over a quarter per bite is a little unreal.
Hands down my favorite breakfast place. Service was great and the food was amazing. Very large portion sizes, you won’t walk away hungry.
My partner and I had such a great experience ordering curbside from Brunch- Milwaukee! Ordering through the website was ridiculously easy, we were given an approximate time to show up, and a phone number to call as soon as we did. The person who brought out our order was so kind and upbeat it lifted our spirits with such a genuine (but spaced) interaction. Plus, the food was Delish. As an adult, the french toast sticks brought me back to childhood, in the best way possible!
I go to this place like every weekend for breakfast, the food is great, the staff is so awesome and friendly, they even know me by name! If you are looking for tasty breakfast come here, you won't be disappointed! And if you are, there is clearly something wrong with your tastebuds and you need to see a doctor, 😆! …
Chillllllle its a no for me. It was like trying to eat in a cooler, like where they keep fresh meat. No ma'am, no sir!! The Philly omlette was ok but the french toast sticks were to hard "crunchy" for me. Not many servers but the few were nice(cold also). I was uncomfortable so I couldn't enjoy the food. Thank you for your service.
Good prices for the amount and quality of the food. Drinks are also delicious! I have multiple food allergies and the menu had more than one option for me, which is a rare luxury. The service can be a bit slow because they're so busy, but that's to be expected. Must recommend the breakfast egg rolls even though I myself can't eat them - my party said they were a hit!
The manager Keyontis was the best server. Very friendly and he had a great taste in music. Our glasses were never empty and the food was good price & taste. Definitely try this place if you’re looking for a new place to get brunch because the bottomless mimosas are every day!
Got the Chicken & Waffle sandwich, and it was...pretty good. The waffle was sweet enough that a combined bite was a bit of a weird flavor combination, and there was almost none of the Sriracha sauce - not enough to taste, at least. Would definitely order again, just wasn't anything spectacular.
The fries, though. The waffle fries are SO GOOD. You have to try them.
OMG 😳- they do breakfast RIGHT!! The sausage gravy serve is perfect texture and flavor and the waffle fries 🍟 are the best. Ask for Devin to be your server. You're going to love it! …
This was such a great spot, laid back, diner atmosphere with sophisticated (and fun) food! The service was great, the food was fantastic, and we had a really great time! Brunch gets it right! The food is different (actually brunch and not just pancakes extended beyond breakfast time) and it isn't your typical overwhelm of combinations at breakfast time.
very good food and very good service thanks to our server Lauren. Very very very good.
Looooove there bacon flight and the lemonberry is decent too... tasted a tad suspect half through. I didn't care for the Milwaukee Street Omelet... was very dry and didn't really taste like a certified omelet. I also asked for light onions, not void the omelet of them. Great vibe once you enter though.
Used to go to their old location, but this new location is much better. They are doing a good job of spacing people out and the staff is good at wearing masks (important in these Covid-19 times). It has super filling food and great coffee.
Make sure to come early and hungry!
I think I am fairly disappointed in this place. I had high hopes reading all the reviews and I truly expected out of the world taste which is absolutely not the case here. I'm not saying it's bad I'm just saying its very mediocre for a brunch place. The decorations and ambiance were very unsettling for me; it's not a fancy place with Victorian antiques neither a modern-styled restaurant with an eye on the future. It's just weird. However, the place is clean and the service was okay. I don't have any complaints about services. The food took quite sometime to be ready even tho we were almost the only customers there. The parking was terrible I believe it's a bad idea to go there driving there if you specifically planning on trying this place.
Good food and nice servers, but no sense of urgency at all when we visited. It was a 30 minute wait. We saw a table for six sit empty for twenty minutes before they sat a group of 5 women who had been waiting before us. Then when we got upstairs, after our 30+ minute wait, there were 3 empty tables around us. Our server was very nice, but we still waited longer than most restaurants for coffee and ordering. Maybe I don't understand how their system works, but it looks bad from my point of view.
Definitely a great place to enjoy good brunch type food. I enjoyed crab eggs benedict & it was absolutely delicious. Our server was very friendly. Atmosphere is casual. Parking is a bit dicey as it is downtown. Ask about a parking structure that will give you a discount before you go to the restaurant. You get $3 off your bill.
Pretty poor experience. Waited 20 minutes for the table the ordered our food and waited 45 minutes to get it. There were several empty tables so it could not have been that busy. Eggs benedict had good flavors but were under cooked. Breakfast potatoes and drinks were great and it's a good atmosphere.
We walked from a nearby hotel, and it was worth braving the cold for - awesome food. Didn't love the high top table we got, but that's a personal preference (and we didn't have to wait for it, so worth the trade-off). I had the vegan hash (Brussels sprouts! Sweet potatoes!) + eggs, and would seriously eat that dish every weekend if we lived in MKE. So so good!
Great food and service. Limited seating and cashless.
This place was amazing! Very good atmosphere, our bartender/waiter was awesome, very friendly, and had us dying with his jokes! I don’t usually review places but this place really stood out for me, not local but if I was this would be a spot for sure. Drinks were really good and food was amazing.
I cannot rave enough about this place - the food, the atmosphere, the staff - everything was amazing. Our waitress was so sweet and was back to fill our drinks every time they got low, and was very patient with us while we ordered. The atmosphere is homey, welcoming, and fun - yellow walls and sky blue accents made me feel happy as soon as we entered, not to mention all the plants that lined the windowsills.
The food was simply amazing. The pancakes had the most flavor I've ever had in a pancake; the goat cheese omelette had more goat cheese than I've probably ever had in one sitting, but it was perfect; the coffee was wonderful and hot. My boyfriend ordered the biscuit and gravy Benedict which was to die for, and everything was reasonably priced, especially for being in Milwaukee.
All in all; I will be back here soon, without a doubt.
Great food, great service! Portion sizes were huge, I left stuffed!
I hear so many good things about this place and now I see why! I ordered to go and was so happy with the food! The breakfast potatoes are amazing too! I was worried that they wouldn’t be seasoned enough but they were perfect. I will definitely be coming back!
So yummy!! Our party of 10 had a reservation at noon on a Sunday and were seated right away. We all got different items and all were really, really good. Drinks were good and on the strong side which our party did not mind. Definitely will come back!
Be prepared for a long wait for your food (i suspect understaffing with Covid), but it's worth it! Our meals were delicious and very filling. Hashbrowns are TO DIE for. I loved the Florentine Benedict! Just make sure you are ready to wait around 30-40 minutes for your food, so order an appetizer and some drinks! Our waitress and host worked very hard and seemed very busy, but I thought it was odd that there was a lot of other staff just hanging out behind the bar and in the back.
I can not explain how amazing this place was. It was busy but service was good. I got a tequila sunrise and perfect drink. French toast was amazing. I would definitely come back
Had carry out brunch on Memorial Day and the service was perfect! The food was ready very quickly, the restaurant was abiding all social distancing guidelines, and when I got home the meal was DELICIOUS!!
French Toast Sticks are 10/10!!
We ordered takeout twice this week and it was delicious both times. My husband really enjoyed the hangover burrito with waffle
fries and I recommend the egg white omelette topped with avocado and pico de gallo.
Great food! Amazing bloody Mary and bottomless mimosas! How can you go wrong?
I love the variety of this menu. I've never ordered something there that I haven't liked. It can be a bit pricey, but the staff are attentive and the atmosphere is great and clean.
Tasty place! We sat at the counter which was very large and didn't feel cramped. Some breakfast restaurant counters can leave you with no elbow space, so this was a nice positive. The food was very tasty. The smores pancakes were delicious without being obnoxiously sugary. The bartenders were very sweet and chatty.
Highly recommended. As the name would make you think, it is mostly a brunch menu but there are lunch options like burgers, chicken and waffles, burritos. The prices are not cheap, but not too expensive. We tried the bacon flight - very good as you would expect from bacon anything, but not much bacon for the price. We will definitely go a few more time to try the different unique options like the crab legs Benedict, the breakfast tacos, and more.
This place was very cute and bright. There was a bit of a wait and the food seemed pricey for what it was. There weren’t a whole lot of brunch spots in this area so this was the one we went with.
The food here is very good. I've had chicken and waffles, large portion and nice and tasty. I've also recommend the southern poutine - waffle fries with sausage gravy, cheese curds and bacon. Even the iced tea was brewed fresh. The bad part of the experience was the long wait for the food. It was a 30 minute wait between ordering and eating, I timed it. If you have the time, I definitely recommend Brunch.
This place is incredible! Official opening is on June 25, 2016. Came here with some friends and we were blown away by the menu. The brunch menu is strong. After meticulously examining the menu, we decided on truffles fries, a flight of bacon (this is real), chicken and waffles, and scallop eggs benedict to name a few. My favorite was the flight of bacon which included crispy thick-cut bacon, bacon sausage, and bacon ribs. Overall, everyone was ecstatic about the food.
The service is also super friendly. Our server, Jason, was not only friendly but also quick, and very knowledgeable with the food & drink menu.
Definitely coming back for future brunches!
Went to Brunch while visiting some friends in Milwaukee, at the time it was only 2 weeks old. The food was amazing. I got the Mac and Cheese Breakfast Burrito and I didn't want it to end. My friend got the tiramisu crepes and they were amazing. The only downside was the waitress was a little slow but guessing because of how new the place was. Can't wait to go back!
This place is so great! I stopped in with my parents and brother this morning. Our server Richard was knowledgeable about the menu, prompt, and so so nice with great enthusiasm. Our orders were absolutely delicious, they were accurate, and came out pretty quickly. It can be hard to find a restaurant where my entire family is happy with the options. My dad is super picky, my mom and I like more adventurous options, and I have some dietary restrictions. All of our needs and likes were met. We got the French toast sticks and bacon flight as appetizers. My dad could not stop raving about how great the bacon strips were. He even ordered more with his entree. I got the vegan hash with a fried egg on top. It was absolutely delicious and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The servings are generously sized so we all ended up with leftovers. My hash still tasted great when I had it later in the day. The coffee was great (what else do you expect from Valentine Coffee Co?), and our mimosas were perfect. Also, I love the decor! It's bright, fun, and simple. I loved all of the Ron Swanson stuff around the place as well as the other pop culture related items scattered around and on the menu (looking at you bluth banana stand pancakes!). I would 100% recommend this breakfast joint to everyone looking for a great Brunch spot.
Nice small restaurant. The staff was polite and helpful. I would’ve given this place five stars if we didn’t have to wait so long to order and receive our food. Our waiter forgot my eggs so I ate half of my meal without them. Maybe more experienced wait staff would encourage me to give five stars.
The food was fantastic and delicious
Good service and delicious food in a sunny atmosphere. Only complaint is that the white wasn't fully cooked on my poached eggs, which was a bit unappetizing. Remainder of the meal was delightful.
Great atmosphere, friendly enough staff. Biscuit and Sausage Gravy Benedict was fair, eggs were overdone, sausage was ok at best, I don't even remember the biscuits, potatoes were fine, but overall a small dish.
Lemon curd pancakes were very good tough.
The food was decent, but the staff was less than desirable. The experience started off well with the young woman who greeted us at the door and showed us to our table. However, the rest of the staff were unprofessional and behaved like children. Cassidy, our waitress seemed put out by having to take our order and borderline rude ("what are you eating?). Zachary, another waiter spent the entire time either singing loudly, or jumping around miming basketball with Cassidy. A third employee did nothing the entire time except sit at the bar playing on her phone and loudly having personal conversations with the other two. The three of them made us feel awkward and annoyed, which made the meal unenjoyable. The food itself was okay. I ordered the french toast stix and a cranberry-ginger drink. My husband ordered the cinnamon roll pancakes. We both enjoyed our food, although I wouldn't say it's better or worse than what we've tried at other establishments. Overall, Brunch was fine but I definitely won't be returning.
Biscuits and gravy Benedict was awesome! Mimosa flight was a fun experience as well. Will be back!
Brunch boasts the classic breakfast fair with some interesting bloody mary options.
Food: My wife and I went with a friend and her kids. We started with a plate of French toast sticks, which were good, and some coffee. I had the lemon blueberry pancakes, my wife had the Chicken and Waffle sandwich and the kids had cinnamon bun and s’more pancakes. My pancakes were good, but a relatively small portion. My wife’s chicken waffle sandwich was good, but the waffles were a bit soggy. The kids pancakes were fairly what you’d expect from their titles. Nothing overly stood out, but nothing was bad either.
Atmosphere: Pretty big space, decorated with pictures of breakfast items. Didn’t overly care for the décor, but not really the reason I go to a place to eat.
Service: Service was very good, and our server was overly nice, even in dealing with two young kids. Brought over crayons/color book for them, and was very prompt.
My score: 6/10. Honestly, there is nothing inherently bad about our dining experience, as the service was fine, food was fine, and atmosphere was fine. However, that is how I would explain the place, it was fine, but nothing I would go back for anytime soon. If you have kids, this is a pretty family friendly location and the price is very reasonable.
Food was pretty good. Service was subpar. It took 15 minutes after getting drinks for our server to come back and take our order. It then too the kitchen almost 40 minutes to prepare our food and get it to the table. My friend asked for hot sauce and it didn’t come to the table until we had all finished eating. Wouldn’t recommend this place if you want a timely meal.
The food is good. The bloody needs some improvement, mostly more flavor. Service is terrific. Atmosphere is nice. Had the breakfast poutine (excellent), and the eggs Benedict (not as good but the potatoes were great).
Great brunch spot, very popular with college students. Gets crowded quickly so arriving early is always a good idea, but the food is always delicious. Wish they had more vegetarian/vegan options, or that it was clearer if meats could be renoved from menu items.
The service was very mediocre, our first server, a girl named Danny(??), literally greeted us and forgot about us so after sitting with no drinks and waiting to order for 15 minutes I got up to find her and she was standing by the other servers chatting. The host then sent a new server over, Pedro, who was definitely more attentive. The atmosphere was very teeny bopper, Taylor swift kind of music. The food wasn't bad, slightly over priced but not awful. Overall I was not super impressed and would not recommend this as a great brunch place but if you don't want to be wowed you'll be fine.
I would have given it 5 ⭐ but they don't provide any condiments with take-out orders. I had the Avocado Egg BLT, which was delicious and fries (but no catsup) and French Toast which was also delicious (but no syrup.)
Beermosa was great..... Key lime pie pancake was great treat but the Gem of the Of it all was The Milwaukee Omelette.
It was my first time trying this place even though I walk past it often. Really good food and drinks. I ordered an omelette and a bloody and both were perfect. Our waiter Zack was awesome. Super fast and friendly service.
Had to wear a muzzle to get into the place then sitting within a few feet of other patrons ridiculous.... stuck to the table no one wiped it off then had a dirty knife and no fork in my napkin then went to the bathroom and stuck to that floor the food was good! That was my birthday breakfast experience! Lol
One of my favorite places to get breakfast in downtown MKE! Everything is good here. Just make sure you call ahead to reserve a table or you will be waiting for awhile!
We shows up with a party of 3 at about noon and only had to wait ten minutes or so for a table, which is reasonable for a Saturday morning. Our plates were rather large, loaded with meats and excellent pancakes! I had the southern poutine, which was mighty tasty and more than enough for an entree for one person. You get a ton of food for the money here and the location is pretty cool as well.
Tasty bloody Marys with several infused vodkas to choose from, good eats and several choices. Reserve a table! Place gets busy quick!
Went there twice this past weekend. First was on a Saturday at 1 and it was slow. Food came out right away and it was amazing (Mac and cheese burrito). Then went Sunday with a bigger group around 1130 and waited for 30 min. We all agreed that it was worth the wait and will continue to go.
Seasonal hash was delicious. Coffee very good. Service at the bar was perfect. Always had a full cup of coffee and water.
Great place! The environment is superb. The staff is excellent. The lemon berry pancakes and bacon are heavenly. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is it is a little pricey. I will return and you should try it!
My family of four visited Brunch for the first time on February 1, 2018. From the moment we walked through the door and heard a melodious "Good morning!", I knew it would be a great experience. Richard was our greeter as well as friendly, funny, attentive waiter. He happily answered all of our questions and offered suggestions and explanations. The drinks and food were timely and DELICIOUS!
I love their new location (yes, there are pictures on here of their OLD location, so don’t get confused), love the 3 floors of dining - at first I thought they were taking us to the back of the restaurant. Turns out the back stairs takes you to the mezzanine and that instantly became my favorite place to brunch... at brunch!
I also had the Nitro Toffee Coffee (alcoholic coffee), delicious! Then we ordered a round of the mini sticky buns (4 with vanilla icing and 2 with chocolate), also a great choice.
For the actual meal I had the Florentine Benedict with breakfast potatoes. Worth mentioning, they have several vegetarian (and gluten-free) options on the menu.
Will definitely be back and can’t wait to introduce more friends to Brunch!
Not open yet at 730AM today even though hours posted on the door and online stated 0700AM. Not a huge deal but there were employees casually chatting and walking around inside not seeming to care about the customers outside. I would think a temporary sign on the door would help in situations like that!
They've gotten a lot better! My egg white omelet was delish! Wish they would cut up the grapefruit brulee to make it easier to eat.
Good food reasonably priced could have had a more attentive server had to ask for more coffee and then it was cold
The waitress was amazing and friendly...the food was great! Love the atmosphere...definitely going back for more!
A unique take on breakfast and lunch. Everything we had was delicious, and the place had a fun vibe to it. Lots of options and our party had a lot of the options. Recommend the chicken and waffle sandwich, and the avocado blt. I have been told that some of the specials at Brunch will blow your mind, so the next time I am in Milwaukee I may check this place out again
Always worth the wait. Bottle service mimosas are a must! The Bloody Mary’s are also very good with different infused vodkas to choose from. The food is great as well- I’m a fan of the crab leg benedict.
I love this restaurant. Literally the best restaurant in the downtown area. Service is fantastic. Everyone is super friendly on the staff, and I’d sacrifice my first born for unlimited jalapeño bacon. Best bacon I’ve ever had in my whole entire life. No joke. Bottomless mimosas on the weekend for $15!? Wowza! What a deal! 10/10 would recommend
I visited Brunch for a second time, almost a month between visits. Good was again DELICIOUS! Drinks were perfectly mixed , and service was outstanding. Looks like whatever growing pains they were going through when they opened have been ironed out. MUST VISIT.
Good food, well-worth the average service. New place probably going through some learning curves. Menu had good depth and great flavor, will frequent when in town.
I love this place. Great breakfast joint downtown. It was brand new when we visited but the design was upbeat and friendly. Very clean and modern. Food was delicious. Although they only gave two slices of bacon instead of three which seems a bit stingy.
Other than that, it's a great place for brunch. You won't be disappointed!
Overall kind of disappointing. The vegan hash was quite good but my eggs were cooked over hard when I requested over easy. The hash was good enough that I would have given them a 4 or 5, but my girlfriend's Benedict was a big let down. Weird puck of egg instead of poached, cooked hard, mediocre hollandaise sauce, run if the mill English muffin, and lukewarm flavourless potatoes.
If you come by I'd recommend the hash and definitely not the Benedict.
Good menu that changes seasonally. My husband loved his chicken and waffle sandwich and Bloody Mary. I had the Florentine Benedict. My dish had little taste and the eggs were not poached and the yolks were not runny
Great experience!! A few days ago I visited and Gracie was super nice and attentive to our table. Will definitely be coming back 👍👍👍 …
service was great! the selection of hot sauces were excellent, family vibe was good. The food was average, it felt like normal breakfast fare, slightly industrial and assembly line food, rather than unique or inspiring.
Great atmosphere, great food, great service! Our waitress Alison was wonderful! She recommended the avocado egg BLT and it was amazing. Will definitely be going back!
Customer service was very good. Unique and fun breakfast items. Tried the Philly Cheesesteak omelete, eggs were slightly overdone, but it was a positive experience. The breakfast potatoes and coffee were stellar!
Get here before 9 AM and avoid the rush! Service was great. I got the corned beef hash, eggs over easy and it was delicious! My wife got the breakfast tacos and really enjoyed them as well.
This place has decent food at decent prices and with good portion sizes. On my business trip I've eaten breakfast here almost everyday and I've always left with some take out to eat for lunch later.
My biggest gripe is with their environmentally destructive practices. Takeaway food is in a plastic clam-shell, instead of the recycled cardboard. Coffee Creamer comes in those disposable plastic cups. Sugar is in little packets. It feels like they've looked at every opportunity to be environmentally friendly and decided "let's be the most wasteful we possibly can be."
Think about the planet, please. Use fresh creamer from a dispenser. Put sugar in dispensers. Use recyclable, recycled materials for takeaway.
I went to Brunch yesterday and the food was amazing and Ally was so nice. I will definitely be coming back again soon.
Great food and reasonable prices!! We go as often as we are in town. However, the only reason it was not a 5 is because of our waitress. When we asked for our check, her response was is this together or separate. Now mind you, it is my boyfriend and I. I looked at her confused and replied together. We were slightly offended.
This place was terrific. We had guest in town for the weekend and found this place online. Wanted to try something new and they did not disappoint. Service was excellent, food was even better. I highly recommend to anyone. Felt like we were in another country.
Second time here and I absolutely love the energy and overall vibe the staff helps create. They are friendly, relatable, and genuinely seem happy. I love the gentleman that is constantly walking around humming and singing. If you are looking you something upbeat as well as being visually appealing this is the spot.
Great good great people. Great atmosphere.
Food is always hot and fresh and great size portions.
Everyone should experience this diamond in the ruff restaurant
An MKE favorite that I have to hit whenever I'm back in town! I love the avocado toast, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu!
EDIT: french toast sticks are a must-have app
Good place for large groups. Went on a Saturday at 9am and there was no wait. Food was ok as was the service. Seems like they are trying too hard with the menu and would do best to make simple food great.
The food was good. The service was alright. They was packed due to graduation weekend.
We were in town to see a NBA basketball game for my son’s birthday and came across this place for breakfast. My son happened to leave his Apple Watch at the table and didn’t notice until we were almost home in Iowa. I called the next morning since they were already closed, thinking the watch would be long gone. And they had the watch!!! The server was holding on to it hoping we would call back, remembered what we were wearing and everything!! They are mailing the watch to us!! The food was great, and this just topped the cake with best service ever!!! Highly suggest this place!!!
Food was excellent. I had the brunch burger medium rare and was cooked perfectly. They also have bottle service mimosas which I thought was very neat. I have not seen that before. You get a bottle of champagne and a carafe of orange juice. I will be going back.
Downtown Milwaukee parking is always at a premium so walking in the door is commensurate to finding the place to park in the first place! Entré ingredients are are excellent but the WISCOMLETTE I had was overdone. Menu prices are on the higher end for a brunch menu but they have to pay downtown rent somehow. I suspect as they make more revenue they will spiff up the place from the urban-renewal slapdash decorum. Have either a big butt or a cushion as the seats are rather uncomfortable to sit in. Again, more money brings better accommodations. Staff is very attentive and, to their credit, are very easy on the eyes.
Great place! Very generous portions. Nice staff. Will come back next time I'm in town.
The multiple kinds of bloody marys and the breakfast poutine were the best!
Food was excellent and the server of the month was phenomenal.
My favorite breakfast place in milwaukee. Abc Brookfield
The menu has some really interesting items but the food fell short in my opinion. The service was a little slow and that was with the place being 75% full. The bloody mary flight was really neat and again the food was so so. Probably better Brunch options out there.
I had the vegan hash which was delicious but it was a bit on the pricey side. All of the options were $10+ with smaller portions which was disappointing. Atmosphere was cute and trendy but street parking was hard to find.
Brunch was fantastic! Food and service were both top notch. Our new go-to for breakfast in Milwaukee.
What a splendid surprise during an overnight visit to Milwaukee! Excellent unique breakfast and lunch or “brunch” options. Light and nutritious yet very filling and delicious breakfast options giving you the strength and energy to face the day! The house coffee is from one of Milwaukee’s top rated coffee roasters-Valentine Coffee Roastery. Fantastic!
A top tier breakfast spot! Great food, drinks and service!
As a wheelchair user, there is no steps to get in but shotie steep cement ramp to get up to the door. If I didn't have a friend to help idk if I would make it in do to the way I open the door, with the ramp set up. Good food and friendly staff though, with spacious dining area.
I love Brunch because of their unique dishes and always delicious and fresh food! Highly recommend!
Extremely slow service on a Monday morning. Seems to be a staffing issue but the crew was working with urgency.
Food is great.
Would recommend a different place if you're on a time crunch
While on a road trip with my daughter we stumbled upon this place. The food was fresh and fantastic! Service was so amazing! I will most definitely find a reason to travel their again!!
This place was great. Lots of tasty menu items for all ages. It is basically Ron Swanson's restaurant in Milwaukee. The only criticism I have is the bathrooms need some updating.
Wonderful for vegetarians and absolutely lovely food! Me and my girlfriend greatly enjoyed the atmosphere the whole place brought about hopefully will be back soon!!
Amazing vibes and very affable service. The menu was fresh and enchanting. Will clearly recommend this restaurant to my friends. Convenient rates and large meals. Keep it up.
Fantastic service! Pedro was very attentive & so friendly!
Very clean, great place to hang out eat and have a few drinks. Awesome food, price is worth it. Had the Waffle and Chicken sandwich it was the bomb! Highly recommend to anyone.
My friend and I were visiting Milwaukee from Arkansas and came here. The food was quick and excellent. Our server was absolutely incredible. We've been talking about our visit ever since!
Really great new brunch spot opening June 25, 2016! Every dish I've tried so far has been so delicious and the staff is really friendly. Can't wait to try what else they've got! :)
Best food ever! Ordered the wiscomlet! Food was fast and tasted very fresh! The owner was kind enough to give me a full tour of the restaurant. Will be recommending this wonderful place to all my family friends and co-workers!
Good food and great service but FREEZING cold! The door doesn’t shut fully on its own so staff has to physically go to close the door which results in it being open for long periods of time when they are busy.
Brunch Mke is AMAZING! Food, drinks, atmos, music - soooo worth it!!! Connor was the best waiter! So friendly and super fun! Thank you Connor and staff!!!
Love the atmosphere and positive energy from the employees. Food always delicious. I have never been disappointed. Just love everything about Brunch.
Great meal and ambience. Enjoyed the bloody mary with pickle-infused vodka; coffee was also fresh. Excellent brunch stop!
I went into the store ordered my meal to go and when I got home half of it was missing. I called three times to resolve this but it went to voicemail. Otherwise the food is good.
I have been here a couple of times and have never been let down. The service is Great and the food options are very tasty. There are options for everyone. I always try the Gluten free options and it is always amazing and satisfying.
Good food! Nice staff!
Ally was super nice and attentive. The food was delicious - will definitely come back when I visit Milwaukee again!
I enjoyed my unique breakfast from Brunch. I was distracted by the torn up flooring a bit but the food was fun, different and good. The service was nothing special, but definitely not bad.
Food was surprisingly good but not hot when served. Wait staff ambivalent at best. Felt that it was a fair value.
Great place, will come again.
Excellent food. For price got a lot of food. Seated immediately. Waitress was exceptionally good. Great experience!
I had heard good things about this place when it first opened! Finally got there and it lives up to the hype. Bright, happy place, with quick service and most importantly awesome food. Great spot, highly recommend!
Ordered for pickup. It was a cluster waiting for food, no clear direction on where/how. No room for social distancing. Lots of people waiting by the door and filling the small vestibule.
Extremely friendly staff, tasty food at an awesome price!! Cute decor in a nice area
We loved it, even though the service was slower, and the crowd too hipster.
Can't wait to try it at the current location (the location we visited was flooded out and they moved to MKE street).
Such a cheery spot! Staff are friendly and helpful with recommendations and service, the food is delicious, and the bottomless mimosas are the best thing ever!
I had the Peaches and Creme French Toast and a side order of Waffle Fries. All very tasty. The service was great, too.
Try everything, it's all delicious. Update: just went to the new location on Milwaukee St. - it's super cool and the food is still as great as ever. Definitely go there.
Fun place! Upbeat, hip and happening ( yet casual) feel. I got the rissotto and it was excellent. Plenty of yummy things on the menu to choose from. I shall return!
Amazing brunch. Was in Milwaukee for vacation and found this place in by accident next to the hotel I was staying at. Got the chicken and waffles was way better than I expected. Definitely recommend this place
Amazing food and great service! Thanks Maria!
The food looked delicious but was pretty bland. We had a reservation and still ended up waiting 30 min for a table. All in all it wasn't worth the prices.
Major League and Adventures of Babysitting was playing on the TV and I was sold! The Optimus prime and egg dish was filling and I needed a nap after eating it. Go for a Bacon flight accompanied with a bromosa
The food and bloody Marys were phenomenal. Prices were reasonable & the staff was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.
DO NOT ORDER THE CHICKEN AND WAFFLES!! It’s a chicken sandwich pattie like you would get at a fast food restaurant and the waffle is not much better.
Nice place. Good portions.
The best place to eat brunch in downtown Milwaukee. The bloody mary is really good and it was nice to see a table of hot sauces. The Quinoa Power bowl was amazing!
Loved this place! Such a cute and chic atmosphere! The food was delicious and the waiter was so nice. My favorite place during my trip to Milwaukee!
Loved it! Fair prices for being in that location. You cant see the water which was what we wanted, but there is no breakfast anywhere on the riverwalk. Great good.
I love the decor and atmosphere of the place but I think the food was a little too hipster for my taste. It was all very high quality but seemed to try a bit to hard to be edgy and different.
Good food, great drinks, friendly staff. Suggest making reservations for Sunday brunch. They get busy.
We were in town for a wedding and happened to walk by this place in the evening. Went there the next morning and were not disappointed. Food was delicious staff was courteous and fun.
The food and coffee were fantastic, but truly it was the energy and service from the manager Zac who made breakfast special. Well done Zac!
A must. Great brunch food. Fun. Good drinks. Can't wait to come back.
Elvis sandwich was fabulous. Peanut Butter, banana, syrup and bacon. So reminded me of staying with aunt Vicki when I was younger and she got me to try peanut butter and banana sandwiches
Outstanding pancakes and stellar customer service! they accommodated everything for me in a large group and they were wonderful to work with the entire time. not to mention AMAZING BRUNCH!!
We had a wonderful meal! The food is phenomenal, and the service was beyond perfect! Thanks, Norberto, you were awesome!!!
Great service! One of our friends spilled water and phoebe and rilynn helped us clean up
Sunday brunch, sat outside to enjoy the sun. Two great specials, super friendly staff, they even brought our dog water and bacon! Well worth trying!
I
Literally the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. A+++++++++ amazing attentive staff. Very friendly and nice atmosphere.
Coffee not so good, charged me for coffee they invited me to drink while waiting for a table, but the food was alright. Mac and cheese burrito could have been cheesier (it was kinda dry), but chicken and waffles was FLAME
Great food and great vibes. Solid bar with a good selection of beer. 90’s cartoons on tv when I went. Really good stuff, highly recommend
Large portion size. Food was fresh and service was friendly. Brunch drinks were a hit with our group.
Not a huge fan of this place. The waitress did not bring out the coffee until after we received our meals. The restaurant was empty and wait staff spent a lot of time chatting with each other.
Loved free Mother's Day mimosas. Lemon berry pancakes were perfect. Good music and nice people.
Great food, great location, very spacious, and the staff is full of energy. Can't go wrong with bottomless mimosas
This place was amazing!! Great food, friendly and energetic staff. Amazing bloodys with basil vodka!!! I can't wait to come back!! 😀 …
The food is ALWAYS made to order. My personal favorite are those bacon pancakes! OMG!😋 Zack and Tae rock everytime I come in! …
Didn't even know it but everything was $10 on tuesday. Good breakfast food and served tasty coffee. The biscuits and gravy were a good pick.
Would highly recommend truffle fries! Yum! Workers were very nice and time efficient. Fun drinks and cozy decor!
The food was great and our sever Ali was phenomenal! Such a great little spot and I will definitely be back!
Had a nice conversation with a friendly server and really enjoyed my omelet. Great little breakfast spot.
Great service, mimosa flight was awesome, as was the bloody flight, the Brunch Benedict was super tasty! Will definitely be back!
Such a cool spot! The food was wonderful and the service was great.
Fabulous service. Best brunch place EVER. Can't wait to come back! Spaetzle and eggs!!! Great drinks! !
We live around the corner, so it is always fun to start our day with yummies from here. A wide variety of good options to choose from. Something for everyone!
Great food and good service had some unique breakfast items
Got seated way faster than i expected to be, great vodkas for their Bloody Mary's, and their food was quite tasty.
Very friendly staff. The food was delicious. It is a must stop place for breakfast when we are in Milwaukee.
Good concept, a bit off on the execution. Dry potatoes, dry bacon flight, dry omelette (didn't realize that was possible until this meal). Better luck next trip!
A great, relaxing restaurant serving delicious, flavorful food with friendly, efficiient service. Will be back!
Fantastical, our service was phenomenal, the wait for our food was long but our server came and informes us a head of time on the wait and was very friendly and helpful.
The food was quite tasty and our server, Danielle, was kind and attentive. We will return!
Bloody flights
Mimosa flights
Chicken and waffle SANDWICH?! So good!
And the staff is great
Great place for brunch. Unique and Always lively. Take your family here when they are in town for a visit, they'll love it.
