We’re on our way to the Blakebrook Getaway. This restaurant is amazing! Tasty tuna appetizer with an Asian fusion twist, definitely worth a try. Fresh and huge portions lobster roll with great price. Mussels were sautéed perfectly with crunchy bread sticks to dip the sauce, which is the best I’ve tried. Overall great dining experience, will come again!

This was our first visit to Hooked. We have had tacos from them at Taco Tour and were excited to make a reservation and try the entire restaurant experience. I will not go back. It was so loud our party of 5 had a hard time enjoying a coversation. The hostess tried seating us a a tabletop for 4. The waitress, Amber, only told us about appetizer specials and never told us there were any entree specials. Half of the appetizers were good, half were not. The shrimp spring rolls had a mushy consistency to them. The same thing happened with our entrees. Two of the five dishes were good and three were not. The two desserts that were ordered were good.

We can't stop talking about how amazing the food is here! We ordered the seafood cioppino to compare it to San Francisco's, where it originated. We tried the cioppino at 2 restaurants last year while visiting San Fran. Hooked's version blew San Fran's out of the water! It was probably the best dish I've ever eaten. The bacon-wrapped scallops were a delicious appetizer, with a yummy sauce over huge, tender scallops. Our server was the most delightful person who has been there for 12 years. The owner visited our table and we love that! You must go to Hooked if you're anywhere near Manchester, New Hampshire.

Small place so reservations are highly recommended, however it was layer in the evening and took a chance to see if my wife and I could get a table. By chance they were able to get us in. After searching for a parking space for 15 minutes we were able to make our way there. We were seated at the bar and were immediately greater by the bartender who took our order and gave us menus and told us about the specials. We ordered our entrees which were the seafood mixed grill. All I can say is wow. The food was fantastic and would definitely come back again, but would make reservations this time.

We ordered mussels, tacos and lobster roll. Food was excellent. Not too expensive. Reasonable price. Portions were large and we had to cancel an order. Mimosa importantly , our server Channing was excellent. She was very informative, provided excellent service. Works passionately. I thought she she owned the restaurant. At least she should own it one day.

The wife and I went to Hooked last night for the first time. Pulled up around 6:20, parked across the street. On the walk over to the restaurant we made a spontaneous ticket purchase to a show at the Rex theatre for 7:00. Ken was our server. Let’s start of by saying Ken is a rockstar. We were those annoying guests that said we had a place to be with a time crunch. It didn’t phase Ken. He did everything he could to accommodate us. Cocktails were unbelievably delicious. The mussels were piping hot and super tasty. We also got the scallops wrapped in bacon and lobster roll which were both phenomenal. We made our show at the Rex right on time. Ken! Thank you! Hooked! Thank you! The wife and I will be back and requesting Ken most definitely. One of thee best we’ve encountered in the hospitality business.

Went twice in 10 days. The first was with 5 friends and the second with one. Ordered exactly the same thing twice and it was spot on preparation - prepared the same way - consistent!!!!! The service was excellent! Personable both times, tables cleared when we were finished, checked on us, outside seating available. Artichoke dip is perfect. Lobster - - sweet, perfect! The BokChoy - unbelievable. Everyone enjoyed their meals!!!! This is so worth going.

In the downtown area with 2 different restaurant names. The food quality was good. The portions were big and lots of sauce on the swordfish. The live lobster were sod out around 8 pm.

Each of us ordered something different and each was very happy with their meal. Cioppino, mixed seafood grille, lobster mac and cheese and caesar salad topped with salmon each came out looking and tasting delicious. Waitstaff was friendly and attentive. We would definitely return if in the area. We recommend making a reservation, as the restaurant was quite busy. We had one and were seated within 5 minutes of arrival.

We googled for a place in to eat in a new city. Hooked came up. We were pleasantly surprised with the service and food! Especially the food. We each ordered 4 different dish and we all finished it in record time. Food were delicious well prepared. We will probably drive up an hour just to eat here again in the future.

Madison, the bartender @ Ignite - Hooked in Manchester deserves huge accolades for her awesome service! When asked about something tasty with N/A immediately says how about a Virgin Mojito. Super tasty with all the effort of a classic Mojito. Then she confidently suggested the Cioppino when I asked between that and the Mixed Seafood Grill. Totally solid recommendation! The Cioppino was loaded with huge shrimp and scallops a generous handful of mussels, a couple big delicious clams and about a 1/4 lb. chunk of Haddock in the tastiest, garlic’iest tomato broth goodness. Totally recommend this place. The staff was rad, the owner lady was a total sweetheart and watching the chef turn amazing dish after amazing dish has me wanting to come back to try more! Guess I’ll be figuring out how to get back through next time I’m in Manchester!

My husband and I were looking forward to trying a new restaurant and picked Hooked because the reviews were great. His Cioppino was delicious, with a really nice broth and plenty of seafood and garlic toasts. (The 3-stars are for his meal.) I ordered the Swordfish with Avocado and Lobster salad. I substituted roasted fingerling potatoes for the basmati rice. I was so disappointed! My swordfish was a generous portion but it was dry and overcooked. The lobster and avocado "salad" was nothing more than chunks of avocado and some pieces of very tough lobster claw meat--again, overcooked and chewy (and cold, which I didn't expect). The roasted potatoes were not cooked well and were still hard. Now, when I go to a restaurant touting themselves as a seafood restaurant, I expect the seafood to be expertly cooked and delicious. This meal did not fit that bill.

This is by far the best seafood restaurant we have been to. Courtney was our server and she was just great, very welcoming and gave us really good service. The food is delicious. We tried the mussels, artichoke and crab dip, the fish tacos, kahuna tuna and everything was really fresh and tasted great! We definitely will be coming back on our next visit to Manchester.

Wife and I are just finishing off a week of long waited honeymoon and decided to order out. Thought we would finish it with a seafood dinner. Just ordered and picked up food from Hooked Seafood Restaurant at 100 Hannover St, Manchester, NH. OMG! It was beyond awesome! Teresa had the Aegean Haddock Piccata with linguini and house sautéed veggies, I had the Seafood Cioppino that has colossal shrimp, sea scallops, haddock and mussels in a tomato based wine sauce. Appetizers were Costa Rican Fish Tacos with blackened Mahi Mahi, and we had House Shrimp rolled egg rolls. And dessert lemon blueberry cheesecake! Seriously, well worth it. Price is about $$ 1/2, and well worth it!

I’m tipsy from just one amaretto sour’s so bare with me here, this place is so good, we went looking for one more lobstah roll before heading home and Hooked/Ignite delivered! We had Cajun shrimp corn chowder to start and it was so hearty and had plenty of shrimp with the right amount of corn and kick! Lobster roll served hot because who eats cold lobster rolls in New England?! They offered a side of melted butter to dip and had a hearty helping of lobster which made for a great lobster:roll balance! Fiancé had the fish and chips which was also amazing, fish was fresh and perfectly battered, not oily at all but such a nice crispy crust and all the fries we had from their regular fries to their sweet potato were great! We will absolutely be back and look forward to it!

Great service, outdoor tables, and the food and drink was great! We went on a Saturday night, and they had live music playing near the outdoor seating, and Hanover Street is closed down in the summer - very cool. You can order from either the Hooked or Ignite menus, and both menus have a lot to choose from.

Awesome seafood food and excellent service. Heart of downtown Manchester. Menu is really simple but done well. If you seat at the bar area you can see your food prepared right in front of you. I liked there mahi mahi taco, seafood cioppino and lobster ravioli. Drink options are nice.

Nice and flavorful seafood. I had the tuna and it was prepared just perfectly. It was very flavorful and the presentation was pleasing. The other people in my party said their choices were delicious also. The staff was very attentive and very friendly. There is outdoor seating (at least during the summer) and it was a good time to sit outside and people watch while having a great meal. It is just off the main downtown street so it is easy to find and get to.

Ahhh! This place was great. I wish they had a parking lot, but the experience made up for having to street park. I ordered the pan seared scallops, which came out on a tasty bed of risotto and had asparagus layer over it. For $23, they gave a lot of scallops, and the risotto was creamy and delicious. The scallops were not instantly melt in your mouth, but they were of good quality! I forgot the name of what my friend got, but I had a taste and it was great. Not to mention, the waitress was very attentive and extremely friendly. I would come back here in a heartbeat.

First visit - per the website I called to make a reservation for 2 - wanted 6pm - they were already booked up to 7:15 on a Friday night. Arrived at 7. Parked in the garage - 5 min walk. Waited about 10 mins to be seated on the Ignite side of the building. Smelled delicious walking in the door. Very busy. One kitchen for Ignite and Hooked. We sat in view of the kitchen which was moving at a great pace whipping out dishes with ease and grace. We started with scallops wrapped in bacon with mango BBQ. Delicious - I wish there were more than just 4 for $14. My husband had the lobster mac and cheese ($20). Absolutely astounding taste. The cheese wasn't too thick - light and flavorful. I had the seafood grille - shrimp, scallops and salmon with rice pilaf and asparagus ($30) - delicious. Excellent portion sizes. My only gripe was that the tail was left on the shrimp. I realize that it's a presentation thing but I hate digging through my food to pull the tail off. We will definitely be going back again.

Phenomenal. Street parking is kind of spotty, but we lucked out. We got there 30 minutes before their closing time, so we expected to do takeout... and even the host said that there was no room and that they couldn't take us in without a reservation. But then I said we could just do takeout, and she was fine with it. I went back and paid for the parking using the Passport app... and in that time span, our host had a spot cleaned up for both of us at the bar and told us we could order in and sit down to eat. This was fantastic of her. We sat down at the bar and got drinks. The maple Manhattan was okay... nothing to really write home about. (It mostly nosed and tasted of orange rind, which was okay if you're into citrus notes... which I'm not huge on.) I ordered the cioppino and my friend ordered the lobster mac. The mac was pretty good... but the cioppino is where it's at. It's hands-down one of the best things I've ever had. The QUANTITY of the cioppino was a bit disappointing (it's in a very deceiving LARGE bowl), but at the same time, it hit the spot. The flavors were great... you could really taste the garlic and the pepper distinctively in the tomato base, and the seafood was good to go. VERY flavorful. I loved every bite of it. Even the bread was great... it had a nice crust and soft on the inside, which was perfect for dipping. The bartender (Elizabeth) was great and she was very attentive, and again, props to the host. Super friendly staff, great atmosphere, nice location. Highly recommended.

If you are in Manchester STOP AND EAT HERE!! The service was fantastic. The food cooked fresh and the portions generous. The lobster was totally worth it and the prices very reasonable. They have quite a wide variety of things to eat...if you go away hungry... it's your own fault! This place was recommended by a local and did not disappoint. Parking garage right around the corner makes it easy to access for a very short walk.

Came in for dinner on a Thursday night and we were seated right away. Came with my father who has crutches for a foot injury and they were able to accommodate us and he was able to get around the restaurant. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. We ordered three entrees - lobster roll, lobster mac n cheese, and the blackened mahi mahi reuben. All three were very good but the lobster roll was our favorite and the mahi reuben our least favorite. We agreed we would order all 3 again. There was not much parking but there is a parking garage nearby. The only drawback was service was slow, but the staff was very friendly.

Everytime we have gone to either Hooked or Ignite, we have had the BEST experience! The manager is amazing, we call ahead and she has our seats waiting for us. Every bartender we have had as we sit at the bar has been super friendly, and makes the most amazing drinks...and super fast too. Now on to the food...just amazing, so tasty!! Thank you to all of the staff at Hooked 🐟/Ignite 🔥 we will be customers for life and you should be too...give them a shot, you will NOT be disappointed!

I just found my new FAVORITE restaurant!!! This place is outstanding. I had the Ciopino, my wife had the swordfish special and both were absolutely delicious!! Best seafood meals we’ve had in a very long time! Definitely our go to restaurant now!! The owner, Ann, is wonderful as is the entire waitstaff- just an overall great dining experience!! Highly recommend!!

We were seeking a great dining experience for our 19th anniversary. We found it at Hooked in Manchester, NH. Although there is limited street parking there is a parking structure near by that charges $8 for two hours. Hooked recommends reservations but you need to call at least 24 hrs in advance. The atmosphere was intimate but too dark. Menus in dark ink on a black background had to be read with phone flashlights. The food was very good to amazingly delicious. The Lobster Mac and cheese was amazing. The Seafood Grill was very good with moist rice pilaf, salmon, scallops and extra large shrimp. The lobster mac and cheese could be described as decadent. This was a real winner. This is a place we will definitely return to.

Great little place nestled in on Hanover. Eat indoors or out for some top notch seafood. There are great selections from the raw bar to start off your meal, and really amazing entrees to fill you up. Not at all oversized, which we really enjoy (I'm a big fan of the Ahi tuna). Give em a go! (Call ahead to see if you'll need reservations, hit or miss at peak hours).

What an amazing place. We visited last night around 7. The place is so cool. Decorations are awesome. The staff and owner are very personable. The food is delicious. Looks like everything is cooked to order, so the food takes a bit but comes to your table fresh and hot and scrumptious. Even the Mac n cheese were a hit. We went for the raw oysters and they were amazing. Got the Fish n chips, another well priced delicious entree. Thank you for making us feel welcome, we will definitely be returning soon for the yummy oysters and to try other items from your delicious menu.

7/2/22 Swordfish/Shrimp Special-What a dining out meal should be! Best prepared and fresh fish meal I've ever had! Hubby had the Cioppino and it was to die for. All of the staff are devoted, attentive and therefore service was excellent! Only wish we had found this place sooner.

My dad and I had dinner here tonight. Our waitress was Leah she was very polite snd knowledgeable of things on the menu. The stuffed avocado was delious and the seafood cioppino the sauce was tasty as well as the scallops, shrimp, and haddock and mussels kinda had a soupish vibe to it in a huge bowl. And the lemon blueberry cheesecake was exquisite! Hooked seafood and ignite bar and grille is the same menu and linked together.

New to Manchester area and googled food near me.. place had great reviews so we figured we would try.. NOT DISAPPOINTED! Even though they take reservations, they still fit us in on Father's day weekend! Angelisa (spelling?) was our waitress she was friendly and kind had great food recommendations for a first timer. Didn't bug us every 5 seconds which was great. Had a perfect atmosphere in general...Will definitely return and would 100% recommend. Food was delicious and affordable as well!

We ate here last night on the way home to Vermont from Boston. Amazing meal. They were crazy busy but despite that, food was perfect and the staff on their game. We ordered the mussels, artichoke dip, lobster mac&cheese, swordfish, seafood platter and two cioppinos. Everybody loved their meal. We will have to make a return trip just to eat here again. The spicy margarita was amazing as well!

Every time we come to NH to visit, we always stop here. We have waited for them to open before, recently we waited 45 mins. The food is amazing. You can tell this is not a chain. This visit was on our way back to Florida. Our waitress Angeliza was amazing. She was very friendly and chatty. She always checked on us and made sure we were doing okay. This visit was amazing. You can literally order anything and it is delicious.

Tonight was the first time we were there. The food and the service was great. I ordered the mussels as an appetizer and they were amazing. My wife and I had the warm lobster roll and my in laws had the british fish and chips. For dessert we had the snickers cheese cake and they had the apple pecan cheese cake. Everything was great and everyone enjoyed. We will definitely be going back.

The food and service was amazing! The flavor of their blue Hawaiian Margaretta (on the rocks) was delicious. I had the sukiyaki shrimp entree, the size portion is perfect. The atmosphere was a nice relaxed vibe. The staff is really friendly and check on you to make sure are taken care of.

Stopped in for a quick appetizer and a beer. Choice of beer on tap wasn’t very extensive but the choices were good. We ordered the mussels, which were prepared in a light tomato/herb sauce, a little different from the traditional white wine and garlic. They were served with a generous stack of thinly sliced toasted and buttered baguette. In a word, it was delicious! The flavor reminded us of the wonderful tappas we have in the south of Spain. Wait staff was excellent as well. We can’t wait to go back and give the entrees a try.

Came into town today Thursday 8/19 and was looking for a good seafood restaurant. This place was amazing. The atmosphere was pleasant the food was delicious snd the service was perfect. Fair in price also. The only bad thing is the parking much like most of downtown dining and that’s in all towns.

Really enjoyed our meal here. There was a long wait but was worth it. The drinks were really good and seafood was Amazing. Our server always had a smile. Would highly recommend this place if you are in the area. They allow you to order from the bar next door also if anyone in your group wants bar food.

A great restaurant with a fun atmosphere, attentive staff and EXCELLENT seafood. We were only in Manchester for two nights, but chose to eat there both nights. The haddock used in the fish and chips was tender and sweet, not greasy at all. The seafood cioppino was loaded with....well, everything good from the ocean. Tender shrimp, mussels, clams, scallops and white fish - all tender and delicious. All of this was swimming around in a tomato wine sauce, buttery and scrumptious. We both had the seafood mixed grill on the second night. Salmon was the best I've ever tasted, colossal shrimp; and scallops all nestled on a rice pilaf and balanced out by al dente asparagus. Love, love this place and we'll be back! If you plan on dining in the evening, make a reservation well in advance, as the tables fill up quickly! Oh, gotta have the colossal shrimp for an appetizer. They are sold individually, which is good because they are huge! This shrimp is served cold with a tasty cocktail sauce with a generous dollop of horse radish.

We have been going here for years and it is always amazing! The owners and servers are nice, attentive and friendly. I think the food gets better every time my wife and I stop in. If you are in the area, do not hesitate to stop in.

Excellent seafood and service. This is the fourth time we tried to go to Hooked. The first two times they were closed. The third time we wised up and made sure they were open, but when we got there around 6pm, it was PACKED with a line out their door. We would have waited, but it was the dead of Winter. Finally, today (summertime) we made sure to get there as soon as they opened. By this point, we had very high expectations. Hooked definitely delivered! We had oysters from the raw bar as an appetizer (so fresh and delicious! ), my husband had the maple glazed arctic char, and I hand the seared sea scallops in mushroom risotto. The seafood was cooked perfectly and the service was great. Highly recommend! Make sure you get there early! The restaurant itself is quite small but the hype is well deserved.

The food is delicious and the environment is nice. They have a patio for during the summer/spring. I love their burgers they are super thick pub burgers and I would highly recommend. I'm technically writing this review for Ignite (the other restaurant attached to this one) but you can order from both. The drinks are great as well they have a large drink menu.

Really solid experience here for dinner. Started with the raw bar which all tasted great. I'll be honest, I never eat raw seafood, so I have no idea. Girlfriend got the salmon and said it was amazing. The presentation looked really nice, along with the restaurant as a whole. I ordered a rib-eye from restaurant next door and it was good. Unfortunately, I live next to the best butcher in NH, in Raymond, but that's just my opinion. The restaurant had a nice vibe and the waitstaff seemed to enjoy working there. Our waitress was excellent and I will be back at some point.

Great food, fast friendly service. FYI often it is difficult to get a seat ( I consider this a sign of a good restaurant). This occurs especially on Friday and Saturday evenings. I would recommend showing up early and sitting in Ignite which is the partner to Hooked and also has excellent food and service. The only slight negative is that they do not have a large beer selection. However they will make any cocktail that you can dream up and have an excellent wine selection.This is a casual restaurant setting with alot of class and some of the most beautiful bartenders and servers in NH.

Great food and the service was outstanding. There were about 10 of us and we called ahead to make sure we could get in. Ignite Bar and Grill next door is the same owner and you can order off both menus. They are very accommodating for people with food allergies and it did not make a difference to the food experience. Our waitress was on point the entire time. I don't think I've ever had someone better. They don't have beer on draft on the Hooked side but she finagled me one from the Ignite side. Great food, super nice owner and attentive waitstaff. What more could you want?

What a wonderful find! We came in on a beautiful early June evening and were lucky enough to be seated outside within 20 minutes. The appetizers were superb. Dawn and I split the escargot and calamari. Both were cooked to perfection. For entrees, Dawn had the Arctic Char and I had the Aegean Haddock. I was a little worried that the lemon butter sauce would be too heavy but it was definitely on the light side, not loaded up with butter like many restaurants will do to cover poor product. Dawn fell in love with the Char. She said it was very similar to salmon but a milder, pleasant taste. What a great place! We'll be back!

Went twice in 10 days. The first was with 5 friends and the second with one. Ordered exactly the same thing twice and it was spot on preparation - prepared the same way - consistent!!!!! My first time here, my wife and I were looking for a new place to try. I searched seafood in Manchester area an this was highly rated.. I want to start off by saying the food was easily 5 stars. The only reason for 4 is the service was to slow..We started off with the escargot appitizer it was amazing, the best I had had. My meal was the seared sea scallops which was also impressively tastey. My wife enjoyed her's as well although I don't recall the name.. The atmosphere was what I'd expected of a bar/ restraunt it was a bit loud and busy. The place was clean though. We had a great overall dinner again only draw back was the server was not around much an took a long time. I would definitely recommend trying this place out if you like seafood and don't want to travel to the coast..

Went here for the first time the other night with my folks to celebrate my mom's birthday. The staff seemed disorganized as three different people came up to take our group's name. This would of been fine except that when a table did become available they sat another group that had been waiting only a couple minutes and had not even put their name in. We were understandably frustrated and confused, and when I brought this up to one of the waitresses she said "It doesn't matter, because you will be seated next." About ten minutes later when another table became available we were ready to let it be water under the bridge and just enjoy our meal. It was busy and stuff happens, right? We were taken care of by the waitress I had spoken to previously and for the duration of the meal she spoke to us in a curt tone of voice. We had to ask twice for lemon for our water. My mother accidentally dropped her napkin on the floor and asked for a new one, which we never got, even after assuring us she would bring one right out. I don't know if our waitress was doing these things intentionally or was simply forgetful but neither is good. I'm giving three stars because the food itself was excellent and served in a reasonable amount of time. Given the other reviews for Hooked I assume my experience has to be a wild fluke and will be willing to give it a try again. It just was that the service was so bizarre that I felt it would be worthwhile to post this review.

They say they are rubbed with Cajun seasoning but don't let that deter you. They have a great flavor without a lot of heat. We went Thursday night for dinner. The staff was exceptionally polite and very charismatic. The owner Ann has a great great sense of how to run a good food restaurant. I had a maple bourbon old fashioned and the wife had white wine. Delicious. We started off with a tuna tartare appetizer. It was unconventional because it was over basmati rice built in a tower like shape. Yummy. We split the tarragon scallops over angel hair pasta with shiitake mushrooms and Radicchio in it. Well, I really wanted to love this place. IT was Saturday night, but no too busy. Was seated right away. Six minutes to see a server, another twelve minutes to see a menu. So nearly twenty minutes before we could even start the order process. There were only two other tables occupied inside, outside was busy, but I counted nine servers. The food? The scallop appetizer was fine - but the oil they fried it in left a slightly off taste that we both noticed. My date's shrimp was fine. My tilapia was, at best, bland. It was supposed to feature basil. There was no basil. It was sort of like eating a meal that looks great, but you have a head cold and are tasteless. The rice pilaf was crunchy. The summer vegetables were only slightly warm, and not certainly not cooked. Honestly, the folks we met were nice, but I can't see us going back. There are too many other options downtown. Two stars for being open, one star - a mercy star if you will, added for the large plastic shark hanging over our heads. My date thought it was funny.

Its an OK restaurant. The lobster was good but all that came with it was mediocore. The vegetables was not seasoned at all. The butter that came with the lobster was plentiful (who needs half a pound of butter?) but of low quality. The service was very friendly but the whole athmosphere in the restaurant was very hectic. Waiters running around all the time. It was full, but there were plenty of waiters, so no need to get stressed out.

Went twice in 10 days. The first was with 5 friends and the second with one. Ordered exactly the same thing twice and it was spot on preparation - prepared the same way - consistent!!!!! The service was excellent! Personable both times, tables cleared when we were finished, checked on us, outside seating available. Artichoke dip is perfect. Lobster - - sweet, perfect! The BokChoy - unbelievable. Everyone enjoyed their meals!!!! This is so worth going.
