Me and my husband are only staying in Manchester for one night and we picked this restaurant because of the good reviews. And holy xxx, the food is absolutely amazing, their margaritas are huge and tasty, servers are super friendly. I usually don’t even like Mexican food, but this one is a must try!

Okay, so tried to get takeout here once and it was a nightmare that ended in a refund. Decided to try eat-in instead a couple months later. So, place is one room, and not huge. It was -loud-, but the food must be good, because the little room was full, right? (Yes, correct.) The service was slow. Maybe one more staff person would've been good? The food was quite good, though! My partner got choripollo tacos and I got pastor nachos. Both were good portions and very pretty. Prices were fair. I also had a hurricane to drink and it snuck up on me. They had a variety of tequilas, and various other traditional Latin beverages (horchata, yum!) Parking is street parking. We usually don't have TOO much trouble finding a space in this neighborhood.

Honestly, salsa & chips AMAZING, rice & beans AMAZING, service AMAZING but thats about all I give it. I had the tacos y mas with shredded chicken. The chicken didn’t taste cooked all the way, and was just so bland I couldn’t do it. This is the only place I’ve ever been where I didn’t like chicken. I also tried the steak tacos the steak was rubbery and tough to chew. The menu is very authentic Mexican food but the meat just lacks in flavor, texture and quality.

Today I ate at El Rincon Zacatecano Tqqueria. I had the Chicken Mole dish and it was delicious. Superfresh and well balanced flavor. Even the refried beans were super yummy. What a great atmosphere there too. Super friendly staff and fabulous Margaritas! This restaurant has been selected by Hilton Honors Dining as a premier eatery in Manchester and by Marriott Bonvoy "Eat Around Town" as the Authentic Mexican Restaurant in Southern NH. Congrats to El Rincon!

We come to Manchester for a trade show twice a year across the street. I'm always so excited to come back to this amazing authentic Mexican restaurant! The mole is to die for! I tried the chicken molito enchiladas this time and a mescal margarita! 💗 Exceptional!

Stopped on our way to our flight back home. Picked El Rincon based on reviews which turned out to be spot on. Small authentic taqueria with outstanding food that was worth the wait. Located downtown, but only 12 minutes from the airport. Thank you, Nohelia, for your service and attention.

The food is outstanding, as are the margaritas!!! Our server took forever to come over, she was busy keeping the thirsty boys at the bar happy. The boys at the bar had enough margaritas in them to keep that bathroom very busy, and OMG they were loud loud LOUD!

Olivia is the BEST. She takes the best care of her patrons. Her margaritas and mojitos are to die for. I can’t recommend this place enough. The food is so fresh. Ask for Olivia to make you a marg when you get there.

Coming from Texas, the Mexican food here doesn't compare, but for New England I'm sure it's pretty good. We got the enchiladas and the taco salad with steak.

I had lunch here the other day and the food is still really good(I have not been here in a couple years). I ordered Horchata, queso dip, and lunch special#6 which comes with a tamale, a tostada and rice.. their rice is really good. Their Horchata was so good I had to have two! While we ate, a few people came in to pickup their food to go. Make sure to look up their menu online first, or use your phone to scan the QR code for their menu when dining in. This was new to me. They have Gluten Free options too.

OMG! This is a reason to visit Manchester NH!! Best Mexican food we’ve had by far! The margaritas are incredible, as well! We had the CASAMIGOS margarita! Wow! Started with guac, queso and beans! Yum!!! Then I had the steak gortitas (again, wow) so delicious! My husband had the CHIFLANDO Y APLAUDIENDO which was also delicious! Honestly will stop back in Manchester on purpose just for this restaurant!!

So I just moved here from Dallas Texas and another Texan brought me to this location cuz I really needed some authentic Mexican food and a great margarita!! I've been to other places locally and the Margaritas were just terrible!!! I'm so glad my friend brought me to this place cuz it transported me back to Texas and I was so happy to have a taste of home so far away!! If you're looking for some actual good Mexican food and margaritas that stands the test of Texans.... I would definitely suggest this place!!!

This unassuming restaurant is a great place to get authentic Mexican food. It is a small place that you may miss if it you weren't looking for it due to location, but it is worth a visit. On our visit today, my husband had the fish tacos. It was so good he forgot to put the Chipotle sauce on the tacos before he started and didn't miss it. They were excellent. I ordered the steak chimichanga. I was given the chicken by mistake, but it was good.

Last week my 2 adult sons, 2 adult daughters, and 2 granddaughters went out to eat there and it was an all around Great Experience 😉👌 The service was on point, the atmosphere was very comfortable clean and cozy and the food and drinks were well prepared and delicious. Looking for an authentic, family style South of the Border, delicious food? Come. You won’t be disappointed. This small gem is located near the SNHU center and May challenge you to find parking, but the search is worth it. My Los Tres Chiflados was beautifully prepared chicken, sirloin and shrimp served with sautéed mushrooms, onions and peppers. My spouse loved her Wild Rancheros Shrimp. It had a nice underlying heat, but not scalding. A good choice for those preferring to forego the refried beans (which I enjoyed), and was served with a tasty rice avocado salad.

The posole was great. The menudo was only so so. The wait for 2 bowls of soup was almost 30 minutes. So if you are ok with the wait please enjoy.

I'm not a Mexican food expert, but I am a big fan. The menu has a wider range of recipes than I'm used to, including stews and specialty dishes. They also have all the favorites; tacos, burritos, quesadillas, fajitas, chimichangas, etc.. I had the Molcajete, which was advertised as a meal for two...can confirm. It is delicious and I'm about to go have leftovers for lunch. Fresh guacamole was excellent. Not a fancy place, but clean and great for families. If you're in Manch-vegas with a hankering for Mexican, this is a good option.

Service was good, I have tried their grilled steak, except the steak, everything else was good. Steak was like a leather and it was their most expensive item on the menu. They have really good rating, but the cut of meat they used is not right for the dish. It is a cosy place, i was expecting more traditional food, but my expectations was wrong.

Delicious, delicious! This is small restaurant is amazing, all of the servers were attentive and very welcoming. I ordered the shredded chicken empanadas nice crispy crust with tender chicken, dipping sauce was tasty, the los tres chiflados was massive and just delicious, nothing else to say but try it. Moved here from Southern California, and after what seems like years of searching finally authentic Mexican food. The portions are huge like real "taco shops", although its a bit hit or miss on the meat portion thing like other places near by. Try the Horchatas, they are real deal super delicious! Although, my husband did ask only guacamole and cheese for his "El Rincon" burrito typically they will still give you a generous amount of meat but only got half the meat last time. My three taco order was exactly as any proper taco plate should be nice and full. I barely finished two, and didn't even get to the third or any of the rice and beans which were also on point! I'd skip to this place - anyday over - say Consuelo's or California burrito in Derry which are both over priced and no where near what good Mexican food should taste like.

Service was friendly. Food was reasonably priced. I was a little disappointed by its quality. Not bad! But I expected more due to the restaurant's claim to authenticity. I'm sorry but I know LA Caretta is a chain, but if you're a hole in the wall local joint, you gotta bring something charming to the plate. Can't just do what the chain does, ever so slightly worse.

A great little hole in the wall with a surprising amount of flavor and spice! I ordered the Bistec Encebollado, a fajita-like plate of pan-seared steak tips mixed with fresh jalapeno, onion, and tomato, served with a large side of spanish and refried beans, plus more onions and cheese. In addition, the meal comes with tortillas and a very flavorful chitople-like sauce to pour over your hand-made soft taco. Mmm! I would definitely come back here!

I've eaten at a LOT of Mexican places and this is hands down the best Mexican I've had. Firstly, the chips and salsa...usually salsa is just meh places, this was so good. The margarita was also very good. I got the chrio-pollo...the seasoning on the meat was so flavorful. Anyways...handles down #1!

So I'm from Massachusetts where In Holyoke you cN get empanadas at any bodega. But sense I've move to new Hampshire I can't find them. So me and my buddy saw this place while conducting business in the city. So let me tell you they were amazing. I got 2 chicken empanadas and a bowle of rice. Not only was it hot and delicious but the rice had little bits of veggies in it and they served it with a Chipotle cream sauce that was out of this world 🌍. I highly recommend this place!

Great staff. Great menu..authentic Mexican... and absolutely delicious! Prices are reasonable. Just beware seating is limited so at busier times call ahead. Doubt they take reservations, but at least to see how available tables are. If you are visiting downtown Manchester, this is a must try!

The food is delicious and reasonable in price. The homemade guacamole is really good and the horchata is also tasty. I recently tried the new special: wild rancheras shrimp and it was great (albeit super spicy). The tacos are yummy and fresh. This is hands down the best (and most authentic) Mexican food I have found in Manchester. If you want a pile of refried beans smothered in cheese sauce and more typically American - Mexican food go to La Caretta.

We will be back! The food is so good. They seemed to be a little understaffed, like every place nowadays, but that didn't stop them from giving us and every table frequent attention and efficient service. Stumbled upon this place with my boyfriend a couple nights ago, and was blown away. I live in California and have traveled all over the U.S. and this is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The chicken chimichanga was amazing!! So good, we went back the next day! Also the fried cheesecake dessert was amazing! There was only one server, but she was incredibly sweet and patient even though she was so busy. See you again! Thank you for the meals!

I wanted to finish my meal and eat everything because it was so good! But I couldn't because the portion size was so big(this is a good thing). This place is great! The food seemed authentic to me. Everything was very clean and perfectly cooked(beef chimichanga meal w single beef taco). My girlfriend also felt the same way about her meal(grilled chicken fajita quesadilla). I would highly recommend this place and will definitely come back in the future. Thank you for the great food!

Good Mexican Food at a Very Good Price This is one of the best places for Mexican food in NH. It may be small, but it's the food is delicious and at a very good price. Alan's margarita and Al pastor tacos or quesadilla are absolute must haves. The salsa verde is delicious, but if you want some heat, ask for a side of their spicy salsa roja. It pairs beautifully with the sweet pineapple in the Al pastor. Their drinks are not for the faint of heart. They are strong but balanced. If you watch, you can tell the servers/bartenders are making sure your drink is perfect. I've been there many times and have never been disappointed.

Tiny little spot in downtown Manchester. The food was pretty good, but not the best Mexican I've had. They have a wide selection of a variety of Mexican favorites. Unfortunately they bragged about their sangria, but they were out of it (must have been THAT good!), and their margaritas were typically more expensive than the meals themselves. Service could have been a little better/quicker. Took a while to get the checks and we had to ask for them ourselves.

Outstanding and authentic food. My favorites are the chile relleno and the gorditas. It can be hard to find traditional tacos in NH (gimme cilantro and onions, not lettuce and cheese) but they make them here! Their margaritas are also great!

Wonderfully authentic Mexican Cuisine. Friendly wait staff checks and often to see if you're okay or need anything. They're willing to make different kinds of concessions if you have different dietary needs as long as you let them know. The selection of Mexican sodas it's wonderful. And from what I hear the mixed drinks are a delight. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I cannot stress how amazing the food was. I usually judge Mexican restaurants by the quality of their simplest of dishes such as rice and beans and this place was on point. Food was delicious. Probably the best Mexican I've had in New Hampshire. Having lived in Austin for several years I miss quality Mexican food, and there have been many disappointments as I've been on a quest to find something decent and fairly local. This place is the real deal. It's a bit of a hole-in-the-wall, which just adds to the charm. The food is flavorful and delicious, the staff are helpful and kind, and you can tell that they actually care about the foods they are making for you. Highly recommended!

Went here for lunch, I saw they had been ranked beat in NH, in their food category. Was not disappointed, extensive menu including exotics like tripe and tongue, all at fair pricing. Small establishment with no parking in front of building but was able to easily park on Elm. Will certainly be returning to continue to explore the menu. The Mexican food I had here was the best I have ever tasted. The restaurant was small with somewhat tacky decorations, but the service was good and the food outstanding. I had an enchilada, which I really enjoyed. We talked with the couple at the neighboring table-one of them had a burrito which really looked nice. It was twice the size you might expect. This is my all time favorite Mexican Restaurant!! I love this place. I have eaten here numerous times 8+ and counting.. I have tried all kinds of things from Shrimp Tacos to Fajitas to Enchiladas and Rancheros.. the El Rincon Nachos are amazing.. HORCHATA-Traditional sweetened Mexican rice water is awesome by itself and then I've added a shot of Rum and it is perfect.. No matter what you order, you will not be disappointed.

If you're a Manchester local, chances are you know of El Rincon for their authentic Mexican cuisine and STRONG Margaritas! If you like a good Margarita, this hole-in-the-wall spot is a good bet for you! Their food is also always excellent, (except when ordering delivery-- tortillas and delivery unfortunately DO NOT mix, avoid at all costs!) but service often suffers. That shouldn't be a surprise since the only waitress is also usually the bar tender. If you're eating in, expect slow service but outstanding food and drinks and you will be happy (and probably drunk if you get 2 margaritas)!

Fantastic food, friendly staff, and contrary to what a few others have reported here, they do indeed have several varieties of beer. That might be a new development, I don't know. Very fresh ingredients, and the guacamole is astonishing. The tacos were simple and delicious; I especially liked the tongue! But the pork and beef varieties are great too. Be aware, it is a fairly small place with limited seating so there may be a wait at peak times.

If you are looking for Mexican cuisine like you might get in Mexico or California, this place is not for you. I've spent the last 4 years in San Diego, and eating Mexican food almost on a weekly basis. It was something I will miss around there. New England doesn't have to many good Mexican joints as most are expensive sit down restaurants with non-authentic dishes. El Rincon, by far has the best Mexican food I've had in the area. Very authentic, delicious, and reasonably priced. UPDATE: It breaks my heart to do this, but upon my last experience here, I will be removing a star from my review. The food was great as always, but the service was exceptionally bad that night. When we first got there, it was pretty busy in there, so I don't blame them for our food taking a little longer to come out, but by the time our food did come out, it was really starting to clear out in there. After our food came out, they didn't bring the proper size meal for our son, and so i asked for another order. As we ate, our server was seen mostly just standing around chatting with the employees. We ate, but my son was very hungry and getting grouchy and we couldn't share our meals with him because of a dairy allergy. I reminded her again, and we were already done eating. Still brought nothing to us. Then she brought our check, still no extra food for my son. Then came back with our receipt, and after she left, she finally came back with the food we ordered. It was painfully slow and by the time she brought it, my son was getting tired and we had to leave. Definitely was not a fan of our service that night and I can only hope it was a little hiccup, because I really like the food here, and I don't want bad service to taint the experience of a place like this. It would be a shame.

The food is amazing, everytime I go I like to try something new and I'm never disappointed. This time I had the molito enchiladas and their special molito sauce was delicious, savory and sweet. Last time I had the bistec encebollado, and so far that is my favorite. I really like that they don't over salt the food, which a lot of other Mexican restaurants tend to do. It all seems very authentic too. The margaritas are the best in Manchester for sure, possibly the best in the state. They make them strong which I really appreciate! Everyone I've brought here has been highly impressed, so I am confident in recommending this place to anyone.

My Burrito was what was expected as well as my wife's quesadillas, however my 4 year old daughter ordered a big kids burrito that came smothered in a spicy Verde sauce that she couldn't even eat. Tried to cut it open and save the meal but there was so much sauce it got on everything and she wasn't able to eat any of it. We ordered from GrubHub(which was a terrible experience in and of its own) so we couldn't send it back to get it replaced with another burrito. Overall would try it again as a dine in experience but won't risk a delivery again.

I have been to quite a few mexican restaurants since moving from the South where I developed a love for this food. This is the best I have been to in New England. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a very cozy latin vibe and are greeted by a very nice waitress. The food comes out quick and the horchata is very good. All the food we got was perfection. I got the enchiladas and was blown away. The queso and the salsa here is also noteworthy. We drove from Massachusetts to come here tonight and we will do it again. They do have a cute little liquor bar and have a few bottles of beer( Pacifico, Dos Equis, Modelo, Presidente). Go here, you won't regret it whatsoever.

We have found our little taste of Mexico!! My daughter dated a truly Mexican man and spent time with his family. She was so happy to see the tacos prepared the way she was used to with the soft corn tortillas, lime, cilantro and wonderful fillings. I got 6 tacos, 2 tamales and two diet cokes (in bottles) and my bill was only $21.00! Plus they hand make their tortillas for the chips to dip in the salsa. As a huge chilaquiles fan, I was really unimpressed with their take on the dish here. It is so far from the traditional Mexican plate that they honestly shouldn’t even call it chilaquiles. It was like a plate of scrambled eggs with tortillas and the sauce (which was flavourless) mixed with tomatoes and melted cheese. I’ve tried chilaquiles all around Mexico, Canada and the U.S. and these were one of the worse. The staff was kind and the other people that I dined with enjoyed their food. The place was clean, fast and cute. I would give this restaurant another shot, but not their chilaquiles.
