This place is a smorgasbord. They even have a sushi area. Delicious food great prices. You can't go wrong. Me and my friends had a blast We all had one plate of food. We were so stuffed. The food was great. 10 out of 10. We strongly recommend

Interesting place with lots to offer and so much potential. I had few suggestions especially for vegans/ vegetarians Food should be labeled or a little green flag that states a dish is vegetarian or vegan friendly. None of the staff spoke English or understood when I asked them to point me to vegetarian options and they all just walked away. The place seems popular but a little consideration for vegans would be helpful. It’s value for money, all you can eat. I still managed to guess and take whatever looked vegan to me but I felt there was so much that I was curious about but no one was helpful enough to explain. It's a buffet it is very wide and has a large variety. So if you're not worried about your diet or high cholesterol or worried about becoming a diabetic this is your place. It was clean it was nice but again you can't keep a buffet 100% safe from dirty people that don't wash their hands. Other than that I highly recommend the place but do it when they first opened up not when they're about to close there's a big difference. From your silent traveler it's an A5.

Yoki Buffet was delicious. Everything was that should be hot was. Everything that should be crisp was. Everything I tried was cooked or prepared to perfection. What I enjoyed the most was the plate placements. Thay are located under the entire length of the buffet. I could find what I wanted to eat grab a plate under that and serve myself. The bathroom where clean and the they had a nice design. The service was top notch. My cup never got past half empty and my plate was removed shortly after I finished eating. I was asked when I paid if Everything was to satisfaction. I would like to add I did show up at 11 am when they first opened. It looked like Everything was out except the white rice. As I was leaving the manager apologized for not having the rice out. I was very humbled by his apology and told him it was fine. I recommend this restaurant. I believe the price is worth the experience. Please see my photos. Tried hard to not have people in the photos.

It’s good for what it is! Keep in mind this is your typical Asian buffet with a variety of mixed food from stir fry to sushi to desserts. It’s clean and open. From what I saw, they tried to keep it organize and the wait staff was nice. It’s not extravagant (what did you really expect) for $12 during lunch time. For a Wednesday around 1pm, it was pretty packed. It’s great value for your money for a fair amount of variety. However, food taste wise was just so-so.

Excellent, huge variety of Chinese and Japanese food. Tonight the peppered chicken and the bourbon chicken were my favorites. Mint chocolate chip ice cream for dessert, too.

I LOVE it here. Wonderful variety, delicious food almost all the time, amazing prices. They seriously have it all and it's more than worth it to take a small detour and try the food here. If you love sashimi, exotic eats, or little peach shaped steamed buns, it's for you!!

I am staying at extended Stay America next door. I needed to take out food for two meals. Yoki Buffet goes by weight for take out. Since I was looking for low salt items. I selected many items. My box came to three pounds and $18.00. There were many items I couldn't eat. So, this is no place for someone that is on a low salt diet. There are a few items, such as Yellow fruit, glass noodles, fried rice etc. The photo below, shows the whole big plate I took with me, and the items I could eat on this diet. What I ate was good. I want to emphasize, that the selection humongous 😃. Many unusual but typical Asian dishes. A wonderful desert bar.

You'll understand when you try it, they make everything "with love". Best buffet in town! It might be a dish you've eaten at 250 buffets, but Yoki prbly makes it better. Properly seasoned especially, and properly cooked too. Very well managed place. Huge capacity and always runs perfectly smoothly.

They had a bunch of variety for everyone! Fresh sushi, hibachi grill, buffet full of Chinese food! I wish they had orange chicken though. Most of the food was very fresh. One of the best buffets we have tried in a 35mile radius. Went on another day today on Sunday if you don't eat seafood don't go on Sundays to expensive.

A huge variety of food! Most being very fresh, taking in to account that i dined on a very busy Saturday night. I mean some of the food didn't have my kind of variety, like chicken wise, only had general tso's and bourbon instead of like orange chicken or honey chicken. ice cream flavors were kind of disappointing with only vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, sherbet, butter pecan, superman and mint chocolate chip. Also the labels were pretty mismatched for the foods and some didn't have any at all.

Food is always delicious and fresh, with a wide variety and good dessert selection. Got some chicken tenders from the buffet for my 3 year old and ending up eating 7 of them myself because they were that good. This is our go to for Chinese buffet.

Good food, although some of it may of been getting a little old, the pies were soupy, and the jello was very rubbery on the top. But the rest was very good and we enjoyed our dinner here. It ran about 17$ a person for buffet and a drink.

Danae does not like Chinese Buffet. Very nice for a Sunday,. Sushi was fresh being made especially for mar eel roll,. Lena tried octopus for the first time, Mongolian beef and Salt and pepper shrimp were good, sauteed mushrooms were also,. Lena also enjoyed spicy noodles. She's the adventurer of the family and tried a lot of different things.

My mothers favorite chinese food buffet. The selection is enormous. The food is fresh and includes seafood (shrimp) a Mongolian line, sushi and traditional items. Lots of fruit, dessert, and even American food like chicken tenders and pizza. Something for everyone at a really fair price.

The food was okay and the service was pretty average. Everything seemed freshly made and like it hadn't sat in the warming table forever. I will go back if I'm in the area but I probably won't make the 25 minute drive back.

The service was friendly and fast despite it being a busy saturday night. The food was fresh and refilled quickly. Some of the signs were above the wrong food but it was obvious. It wasnt the best chinese food I've ever eaten but it was good enough for a fast venue. The sushi was delicious and i ate more than enough to warrant the medium sized check at the end of the night.

Went for my birthday. So much to choose from with the Sunday buffet. While my kids ate cold fresh sushi, I had a plate of crab legs, peppered steak with shrimp, spicy chicken, teriyaki chicken, butterfly shrimp,and crab rangoon...There's a bunch to choose and all of it was fresh. Love this location.

I don't like buffets and this visit just confirmed I still don't. The buffet was not very clean, spills and drips everywhere. Children unsupervised serving themselves. I saw one child stick their fingers in the food to taste and I was done! The food I did manage to eat was ok. I was hoping I'd like this place but it's just a nother Chinese buffet restaurant. These come a dime a dozen.

Sushi was good. The buffet was ok nothing special but it did the job. Went after 7 and some things did not get refilled on the buffet as quickly or at all. The toilet seat is a fall risk, barely hanging on and the sink in the women's room is about to break any moment. Those repairs really need to be done for safety sake.

It is a buffet, so food is very much quantity over quality. But it is clean and food it well taken care of. They have a Hibachi grill that is good. Deserts and sushi were not as good, so it was not a sushi place.

Wow, we are so stuffed! Going to need a nap. The sushi bar was my favorite. They have lots of tasty sushi options compared to other places. I tried a little bit of everything and liked most of it. The staff was friendly and quick. Next time I will try the Mongolian BBQ. I ran out of room.

I couldn't eat another ham so we went to Yoki on Christmas day. The food was great. It was busy but worth it. The food was hot, fresh, delicious. Recommended.

Sooo good. Just like it was mentioned, the sushi is DELICIOUS! happened to pick up a bun I thought was a custard bun, nope roast pork bun very much like the ones I had in NYC chinatown. They also had the custard buns which were tasty as well. I was impressed with everything I tried here. Marking as one of my favorite buffets across the country.

The best seafood buffet I have ever had in Kentucky. They have a lot of choices, oysters are very fresh. Every where is clean! Server is friendly. Price is affordable! We would definitely come back!

Great service, and good selection of foods. Sushi bar has nice choices, Mongolian bar let's you build your own meal for no extra charge. Overall a pretty nice, clean buffet.

New, and very busy in the evening, when we left there was a 20 minute wait. However I would rather go to a buffet when it's busy because the food is usually fresher. They have a Mongolian grill, kids section ( pizza and Mac and cheese). Also a sushi and sashimi bar, regular Chinese food and a dessert section. Dinner is 13 dollars a person and you have a server.

Yummy food and a good selection. Just took my boys for lunch and it was their first experience with a Chinese buffet. They had a blast. Dessert bar was probably their favorite. Minds were blown. Website is not clear on prices. Current (July 2022) lunch prices are $10.99 for adults (11+) and $7.99 for kids 6-10. I'm not sure what the price is for younger. And I don't know dinner price for sure.

Good place to eat. Visited on a Sunday which includes all the seafood. Not sure how it works the rest of week since I've only been there once. The price matches the assortment. The buffet contains the generic array. It was clean and fresh. Most of the food's taste did not wow me, but if you are looking for all-you-can-eat Asian food then try this place.

Me and my husband have a wonderful time here.we have been here three times so far even decided to go up for the 4th of July we highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a decently priced Chinese buffet with more than enough options for even the pickiest food critic... Don't listen to the poor reviews on here this place is amazing it is spotless the servers are more than generous with mannerisms, the owners are very nice and the food quickly gets refilled. And if you have a sweet tooth you are in for a surprise they have the most overstocked dessert bar I have ever seen in a Chinese restaurant.

What I tried was really good. The best I've had of this type of restaurant. The service however.. our waitress didn't ask if we needed drink refills or take plates until we were getting up to leave. She also asked if we were splitting the check after we had already paid. All in all though it's a good buffet, with good food.

Visited the Yoki Buffet during my stay in Louisville Kentucky. Hands down one of the best Chinese buffet hibachi Grill I've ever been to. The variety is unbeatable very clean very fresh and the sushi bar is very impressive

The food was decent .but the service is bad .they trow you on your table and forget about you we have to get up and find a waitress to ask for our drinks amd she was like no more no more before i finish asking. Then i try to ask a couple of other people where to find things like hot sauce and stuff and same answer.no more .no more .and of course we never got a refill on our drinks. This was my first and my last time here.

Food was pretty good, but a lot of it was cold. Price of dinner was not even listed. If you check the picture or the sign at the door $12.99 is the highest price. Each of our meals were $15.99. If you're going to raise the proces, that is understandable, however customers should at least be aware of the price change. I've loved this place since I was young, but this just makes me sad :(

It was more than a hundred feet of Cantonese cuisine on the other side was the hibachi grill get your vegetables and different kinds of meats while the chef cook it in front of you then on the other side you have your cells and desserts I highly recommend this place next time in Louisville I will be going there once again loved it.

Very nice presentation. Good looking food tables. It is your usual Chinese buffet. The issue was that the food that should have been hot was not. Some was a bit warm and some barely room temp. What we had was tasty for the most part but not mind blowing. May try again in a few months.

A very good buffet ... I really enjoyed it. A hibachi is included, which is a great perk ... But I didn't try that this time. I didn't see a lot of ready-made options for a vegetarian, but in future, taking advantage of the hibachi could solve that. It was not cheap ... But these days (omicron starting to subside), I've seen restaurants priced for fewer customers, and priced for recovery.

Decent food. The sushi is alright. Somewhat plain but a good selection, and every table has soy sauce and siraccha so plenty of goodness. Very good variety of Japanese cuisine as well as American style children selection. Would easily go again. Open late too!

Went here once. The food tasted good, but I am unlikely to return, as the quality just did not feel there. Perhaps I went on an off day, but regardless, I did not feel I obtained the value equivalent to what I paid. For that reason, I will be unlikely to return, but I do not directly advocate against trying this restaurant. It has many fans, and I am sure you will enjoy it if this is your type of food.

I didn't much care for the chicken and pork dishes but the steak was good but slightly blend. They have a bun filled with sweet paste and it was the best thing. not bad buffet imo

Amazing Experience!! The sushi is the best I've had since Maui. A very generous amount of sushi 🍣 choices ....the muscles are huge and comparable to oysters. The atmosphere was clean and sparkling (especially the crystal chandeliers) Mask mandate and spacing is followed strictly. Very friendly and helpful. Since I'm a sushi lover I didn't eat the hot food but husband did and loved it... especially the steak ..very tender. Just very impressed with my first dinner there..WE WILL BE BACK💜✌️

Good selection of Chinese dishes. Sushi is particularly good, with a wide variety. Only item we did not care for were the Mexican street tacos. The beef tacos were tough and not flavorful. Odd item for a Chinese buffet.

WOOOOOOOOOOW, Do not let the outside appearance of this buffet fool you. I finally tried this place and I am so upset that it took me this long to eat here. It is by far hands down the best Chinese buffet in Louisville, And one of the top 3 that I've been to ever! The sushi is fresh delicious, The best general tsos chicken I've ever had, They have a Mongolian grill so you can pick and put your own dish together, And on the weekends they have crab legs and fresh seafood if you like Chinese food and Chinese buffets do yourself a favor and go here it will be your new regular favorite place.

I'm giving 5 stars because, compared to other buffets in the area, this one was the best I've had in a while. I'm not always impressed with a huge selection because i feel like that's a trade off for quality. However this place has both an impressive selection and good food. I'll definitely be back.

Fantastic food. My husband and I came here for something different and the buffet was so nice. The place was clean (other than the high chairs; which is expected to be dirty) They food was delicious and the buffet had a very well lay out to it. It flowed very nicely together.

We got to the restaurant around 4:30. It was busy but not packed. We were seated immediately and were waited on promptly. Our waiter was on point! There were a few things that I personally would not try but everything that I eat, I feel was very good considering it was served buffet style. And the soup guy is great!

We went there at dinner time on a Saturday. At 14.99 per person it wasn't cheap but what you do get is a huge variety of dishes served at a all you can eat bar. They have just about everything you can think of except the most exotic dishes. There is also a hibachi grill where you can get freshly cooked food. If you like Asian or American cuisine you can't go wrong by choosing this place. I would recommend going on a weekday as the price is much better 9.99 I think.

So, I went with a party of 3 on Thursday night. The process of getting a booth was simple, but the staff was not very welcoming or animated. I personally went after the sushi, which I enjoyed greatly. The variety and the taste was wonderful. However, I went to look at the other buffet options and was disappointed by the seemingly small variety with such a big facility. Perhaps there is more during lunch. That being said, the food was good, just buffet quality as expected. All of this would have garnered a 4 Star rating, but the $12.99 price was too high for the selection and quality. Probably would not go back for dinner due to that reason.

The tea was good. I didn't get a chance to eat anything because my "date" was being all weird and decided he didn't want to eat there. I'd definitely go back to taste the food, just not with him.

Staff is great, very clean, good sushi, wide selection. It has a unique variety on everything, especially Saturday seafood nights. There are things that I didn't like, but everyone has different opinions and taste. Been during lunch and dinner and we will continue going back.

My youngest son and I went to eat here. All he wanted was fried dumplings. They didn’t have any on the buffet. I asked the manager ( I am assuming) if they had any coming out or if I could order some at an additional charge. His reply was “ sorry we don’t have any on the buffet, but he would have someone make some and bring them out to him. How many would he like & there isn’t an additional charge ! “ I was completely surprised . That they would go make them for him . If that’s not good business, I don’t know what is ! The thing the manager didn’t know, was that my son is autistic and that was all he had been asking for all day ! Thank you for bringing a smile to my sons face and mine ! We will be back if we ever come back this way again ! Thank you !

This place is huge. The atmosphere there is friendly and quiet. We was able to enjoy our meal and the waitress came by a few time to make sure everything was ok. This place has such a nice selection of food and delicious desserts. But I wouldn't recommend getting any ice cream. The ice isn't in a machine and you have to dig it out yourself. Which none of them look very good. Really messes in fact. The bathroom's are super clean. Loved everything we got at the buffet.

The BEST BUFFET I've EVER had. They have everything you can think of, super clean, they were very on top of removing dishes, and filling drinks. I'd make that 30 min drive everyday to eat here! Went at 2:30, which if you know about buffets they're never hot or any good from 1-5, and it was fresh, delicious, super busy, and just an all around fantastic restaurant 👍 👍 👍 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Love this place. Great staff. Service oriented and pleasant. Been here several times since it opened and will continue coming back. Sushi is fresh and all different varieties to choose from. Too many Asian dishes to mention plus a few American staples. Good dessert selection as well. Prices are cheaper during the week before dinner time. Saturday before 3:30 pm. After a bit more. Recommend this place for a couple or entire family. Reasonable and great value.

Went there for our first anniversary. I really like Chinese food but my husband have been exposed to much. I was really hoping it would be a great experience for him. We were there on the weekend and there was a huge selection of food, but everything I had tried seemed like it was left under the great lamps for far too long or over cooked. I was disappointed because I really wanted my husband to see how good Chinese food could be. Then also the price was really high I felt for what I felt was poor quality of food. It was a beautiful restaurant and I loved the decor, but I really think for the price the food should have been better.

I tried about 20 different things, and liked almost all of them. Louisville has been missing a great Asian buffet for a long time, but no longer. This place is good and it's inexpensive. I have been a devoted fan of the Jumbo Buffet in Jeffersontown for eighteen years but recently noticed this restaurant on Trip Advisor getting such good reviews. This is often rated the top Chinese buffet in the area. I visited myself this month and this is easily one of our top buffets and perhaps even better than Jumbo Buffet. Both are superb with great food choices, including healthy choices. At Yoki Buffet, the layout is a little easier to navigate than Jumbo Buffet. The cold section has some items unique to Yoki: oysters on the half shell being the biggest surprise. These shucked oysters are packed onto ice and are fresh and briny and large.

I was pleasantly surprised by the food here. There are the typical American forms of Asian food, but there are also more traditional dishes here as well. Buffet food typically is not thag great, but I enjoyed the entrees and sushi here. The oysters were not salted too well, as most usually are. But other than that they were decent. The nigiri seemed a little on the dry side, but that wasn't a huge deal. There was a nice selection of desserts.

This place really hit the spot. All of the food look fresh and none of it was dried out. We went right at dinner time and it was crowded but we were able to find a seat no problem. The wait staff was very kind and courteous. The only downside was that the Hibachi Grill had meat that was tough and not very tender. I would go back and definitely recommend it.

Nobody goes to a buffet expecting 5 star cuisine, but Yoki is very good at being a top notch buffet. There's a huge selection, something for everyone, plus the custom stir fry option. I'm impressed because the seafood selections weren't overcooked. That's very hard to do on a heated buffet. Food is moderately seasoned, so don't expect your General Tso's chicken to have much spicy heat. There is sushi, but I can only tell you that the cooked & vegetarian selections are good. (May not be popular opinion, but I think of raw fish as bait & have never tried it.) Several dessert selections, including ice cream. Servers kept my tea glass full & removed empty plates frequently. Good food at a reasonable price for that you get.

Stopped in for supper as I noticed it from the road and thought I'd give it a try. It is very nicely decorated and I was politely greeted and seated by the hostess. The waiter who kept the empty plates etc off the table and kept my drink glass full was very attentive. The buffet was very good and had a wide array of fresh selections. You can select your own ingredients located on the far right of the buffet or choose from the many selections readily available of already cooked food. The one item of fish that said flounder was cooked with head on was delicious. I recommend this restaurant

That's probably why their price was lower than I'd expected. I especially liked the fresh, sliced mackerel. I'd love to love this place... The first time I came, I was with my son and the food was hit or miss. The second time, everything was really good, so I thought that they must be doing something different. My wife doesn't like to go to places that I thought weren't consistent, but I convinced her based off of the last experience we had, and it wasn't good again. I'd say try it. As frequent visitors and reviewers of China buffets, I can say this buffet is squarely a 3 star. The restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. Large sushi selection with diverse seafood as well. It was hard to point to an above average chicken dish, all were ok. We had a hard time putting together that one last closing plate. Desert was below average. We asked about getting a discount for a 5 star rating and our waitress confirmed we would get 10% discount if we gave a 5 star rating, when asked if a 4 star rating would get the discount the answer was no. This likely has artificially inflated the reviews. For $14 (no drink) it was on the high side for the value. It is worth visiting for the large sushi selection, however if this is the best buffet in town, consider stopping in another town.

For me it is everything you could want from a Chinese buffet. They have excellent and fresh sushi, and it makes it difficult to justify paying for sushi at a restaurant for a lot more. The food is good what you would expect from a Chinese buffet. They will hibachi grill food for you and even a soup station. I give it 5 stars because it's a great buffet. I'm not saying the food is always like a 5 star restaurant, but it is a great option for people wanting Chinese food and some sushi.

But they did have a chef prepping food at the Mongolian section so that's what I had which was okay I still have to learn how to be able to mix the stuff myself so that it tastes great. Now that Yoki is back open. They are serving up that amazing food that we all love! I went there for lunch today and the only differences I noticed was small. We had to wear single use gloves to get food. Face mask are encouraged as per state regulations. All employees are wearing the same. There is no ice cream. Other than that. Everything is still amazing and delicious. If you leave hungry. Its your own fault. Yoki has always followed food sanitary guidelines and now they are following COVID-19 guide lines as well.

The sushi selection and architecture are incredible, but I wished the rest of the food was that way. Other than the sushi and desert, there is only one line for "regular food" at the buffet. There aren't many selections. They do have a nice hibachi stand and a peculiar noodle stand that I've never seen at an Asian buffet, but these two options aren't particularly amazing. Still, there are nice things to look at while you wait.

This place was pretty good, a bit pricey but for what it had it was good. The bars could have been a bit fresher, we did go around 7 so I would expect it to be but they were busy so I understand. This place is an absolute pleasure to go to. My wife and I eat Asian cuisine frequently and are always searching for a great place. We live a couple hours away but frequently travel to Louisville and we had a usual spot but it’s recently declined in quality. We found this place via Googling and it will be a our new frequent spot. We ate there 2 days in a row on some business trips to Louisville. The choices are excellent, wide array of food to eat, it’s hot, fresh and great tasting. I actually felt it wasn’t extremely salty like a lot of Asian restaurants are. I had special requests with my drinks and the waitresses though maybe not able to understand at times due to language barrier were always friendly and helpful and got me exactly what I asked for and kept working to make me happy even if they didn’t fully understand. They kept the table cleaned off, my cup full and the place was clean. The lighting and the decor was super awesome to look at and it felt real inviting. A highlight point for me as corny as it may be is I dislike sushi. I’ve tried several types and cannot get over the seaweed and I actually found one type that was fried I actually liked and ate so that was nice. I’m not sure if it just wasn’t out for that day but I would like to see pineapple and those puff pastries on the bar as those are a couple staples I eat when I eat Chinese food but it was only a minor disappointment. I absolutely love the cream filled pastries, burnthere is literally so many choices it wasn’t hard to find something I wanted. The only thing I didn’t try was the Mongolian bar as that’s just not my thing. All in all it was a great experience and we will be back frequently. The lunch buffet was priced fair though I guess the price goes up at various times of the day. It’s became our new go to place and we have already recommended it to some friends and family members. I’m usually pretty critical and rarely do I give 5 stars because there is always something everyone can improve on but this is certainly worthy of 5 stars for my standards. I’d like to thank Yoki Buffet for the great experience and look for us to visit again and again.

My 1st choice for Chinese when in Louisville. I frequent many Chinese restaurants and for me Yoki has the largest selection of entree's, sushi and desserts of any I've been to. I also love the layout of the dinning area. They group several booths in sections which creates a cozy more private experience. The servers stay busy and are pleasantly attentive.

While in Louisville for a 3 day business trip, I found Yoki Buffet on night #2. I will be returning on night #3. $15.00 for the buffet with an iced tea. The wait staff was attentive. Great place to eat but they didn't seem to care about safety. Water or soda was spilt on a main route to seating and i pointed that out.. and then when i accidentally dropped sauce by the hibachi grill and told no less than three people who worked there about the hazard still no one showed up to clean it or acted concerned. I think it's almost impossible to do quantity and quality, but overall Yokis does a pretty good job! The only thing that I was disappointed in was the hibachi grill. The food was prepared fresh, but it didn't have a lot of flavor. However there was enough on the buffet to make up for it! We'll go back for sure!

First time trying this buffet, was disappointed that there wasn't any beef offered at the hibachi side. No stuffed mushrooms or mei fun noodles or stuffed clams. Children unattended, using their hands to put things on their plate and wandering around others tables. The foodstuffs were average.

It's still really new and the food was good and hot when it should have been and cold when it should be as well. We loved the atmosphere inside as well! Only concern I had was that the bathrooms seemed to be getting neglected in the cleaning process!

The atmosphere is great! They took the building Hometown buffet used to be in and made it look fancier and more spacious! The buffet is pretty big! Plenty of fresh fruit, like pineapple, grapes, cantelope and delicious grilled chicken, and fresh fish, ect. Their was meat buns, mushroom soup and I really enjoy the corn fritters. Right now, lunch prices are $8.49 until 3.30pm which is awesome! Great place!

This buffet is less than one mile from my work, which is dangerous, because it's one of the best Asian buffets in Louisville. Fresh, hot food, and a wide selection of different dishes. Ginger shrimp is my favorite hot item, and they have my favorite cold item, too! That's the cold squid/octopus cut in pieces and served in pepper sauce. You cannot go wrong with any of it.

We have a similar local restaurant where I live. This is much much better. Very fresh food, including the sushi bar, and hibachi grill. We are there at 7pm on a Thursday night, and the food was as fresh as you would find at any busy lunch or dinner time. I'd like to move this restaurant closer to my home...

The best place in Louisville to eat at.....after the co-v it is below average. You can not fix your own plate. The food is now sub par and lots of times old and cold. Going back to Jumbo and see if it's if not I'll be done eating out

Very nice place! I went to Yoki since I lodged at a nearby hotel. For the price one pays (high I guess for the area), one really gets a lot. The buffet stations are very clean and there is a lot of variety. The spots that impressed me were the sushi prep station and the stir-fry/ soup/ mongolian bbq station. The staff is very friendly and attentive - too attentive in one regard in that when I returned from the buffet my soup spoon was gone. So I guess no more soup for me.. lol. I think this place is a gem.

I have been to Yoki numerous times and like the variety and consistency of the food - especially the sushi. However, the overall cleanliness of the property (grounds and interior) seem to be suffering from a declining lack of attention. I particularly dislike having to step around cigarette butts that are accumulating around the entrance.

It's just another Chinese buffet. They didn't offer anything to stand out from other. The most irritating thing was a staff member sitting in the dining area eat. He was eating crabe by putting pieces in his mout, shell and all, cracking them open with his teeth then spitting them out I cannot say anything about another guest, but seeing staff do this at the table next to me was disturbing. I will say that the waiter and waitress in our are were very attentive.

My GF and I have eaten at Yoki at least 5 times and it is pretty good. Sometimes better than overs and the food served varies sometimes. For instance sushi and rolls only except sometimes sashimi is offered. Update. Here twice more since this review and the place id very good tonight. Just ate here again today. The raw fish quality is good. I uploaded a couple pics of what I ate. This place like all other buffets is up.and down but the sashimi and sushi I eat have always been good. I'm not huge into rolls but even Yoshi rolls are good.

Many of the seafood items were good and a lot of the sushi was good too. It would have been nice if more of the food had been labeled. Also, putting fake crab legs in a dish dies not make it a crab dish.

As far as Chinese buffets go, this is my favorite one in Louisville. They have the best selection of delicious food, and stuff you can't find at other buffets. I especially love the steamed buns they have.

Very typical, generic Asian buffet which is not a bad thing but sadly the food was not fresh or hot. The service was good and the restaurant was mostly clean. They no longer serve beer which was sad to find out after the fact.

This place is actually pretty cool. It's an all you can eat Chinese Buffet. They have regular Chinese food, sushi, I saw a little salad. They also have ice cream and pudding. You pay when you leave. It's not all too expensive either. I paid like twenty five dollars after tax for two adults to eat. Totally would recommend this place.

It's not a bad resturant. I like the sushi and it's interesting to see the chef make the sushi. The sushi is good although it's mostly Americanized versions of authentic sushi. The grilled good is good. But it's mostly American food (mac and cheese, Americanized orange chicken, ECT...). It's a clean restaurant with clean forks and plates. The atmosphere is amazing and you'll find plenty of aisen style decorations, and plenty of color changing lights. My favorite part though is the wall fountain you get when you walk in, very nice. That's my perhaps too long review.

Wasn't the nicest I've ever been to, but.... A. Food was fresh and constanltly being restocked, not just stirred around. B. It was clean. (Including men's room.) C. Service was fast AND friendly. I'll definitely go back.

First time we dined here was a Saturday night at 8pm and the crowd was a whole lot thinner than I expected. I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of dishes they offered from blackened pepper chicken, steamed pork buns, spicy crawfish, and an endless seafood selection. I had my fill and a half of sushi and sashimi that was DELICIOUS. The only gripe I have about Yoki is that I didn't notice the ice cream until after I had already eaten my coffee cake because it was tucked away by the fresh fruit. Overall, great food and service for the price!

Ate here last night. The buffet was packed! Please don't come here just to have orange chicken and rice, this buffet is mainly focused on seafood. Their crayfish, crab legs, and seafood medley were my main dish favorites. Wanna try something new? Try out Yoki's lotus buns for dessert. Has a strong vanilla flavor and soft texture. Lotus buns are located nearby the soups. :)

Nothing amazing about the food. Wasn't bad, but wasn't great either. Standard options, nothing out of the ordinary, nothing spicy. Staff was good at keeping an eye on what was needed, each time I came back to my seat my water glass was full and the check came a few minutes after I sat down with my dessert.

This would be a 3 star review if not for one thing. They have a really good mongolian grill portion that's always open. Other than that: The food that's supposed to be fresh is questionable, several people that go with us always say they got sick later, and if you don't go during peak hours the food probably has sat there all day. That being said, it's everything you suspect from a buffet, and if you stick to the mongolian grill/things you can tell are fresh you're gonna be fine. The food is good otherwise. PS. Dont get the oysters. I'm afraid just looking at them.

Meats was kind of tough and cold. Service was ok. Opened at 11 and I walked through the doors at 11:02 and they didn't have all the food out and what was out they didn't have spoons in most to serve. Was in a time crunch so this kind of threw me off. They should have been ready when doors were open.

A really nice place with a nice design. The service is good but I wish there would be more different food choices to choose from because after visiting a couple times, the menu becomes bland. Other than that, a good place to eat out with your family and friends.
