Reviews of Wiltshire on Market
Adorable bar at Nulu! Went with no expectations by passing through the street and was the best choice we had that day! Inside was much better than outside- proper lighting colors and materials created good cozy vibes. Foods and wine were fantastic! Definitely will come back!
We enjoyed an outstanding meal from the brilliant culinary skills of Susan Hershberg at Wiltshire on Market. The seasonally changing menu for the evening includes pumpkin hummus, an olive appetizer and bourbon smoked triangoli. The food, atmosphere and soft background music create a great date night experience. The fact that all staff are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and that guests must show proof of vaccination increases the guest comfort experience. Thanks for your culinary creative excellence, Susan!
Wonderful restaurant! My wife and I visit several times a year, always on our anniversary. I have never once been disappointed with the service or the food. The menu is lean which is a sign of a kitchen focused on their strengths and local seasonal offerings. Even simple things such as the cheese plate are outstanding.
This was an interesting place. If you plan on visiting, be sure to have your vaccine card because they require it for inside dining. Kind of going to be hard when you're the only location we visited that required it. The drinks were great. Offered different thing than the typical old fashioned and martinis. It is a very mellow and relaxing vibe inside and the staff was accommodating. I think some of the dishes were priced high for what you were receiving, but it was good enough to make up for the fact. I personally believe they take some true care into what they present to you and the quality of ingredients within the dish.
Amazing food, creative cocktails, outstanding service. This is one of my favorite restaurants, and a great place to stop in for a cocktail. It is locally owned, and one of my go-to recommendations for an authentically Louisville dining experience.
Attended on June 11. Service was good and attentive but the food was okay. Not what I was expecting with dry chicken that didn’t have a whole lot of flavor.
Had an amazing experience here this evening for our wedding anniversary dinner. The atmosphere was inviting and intimate, the service was exceptional and the food was creative fine dining without the cost of a traditional steakhouse. Our server Chad was attentive and hilarious and the chef Nathan sent out an impressive lineup of dishes. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a local fine dining experience!
I visited this place for dinner we a friend while hanging around Louisville. I thought it was amazing ! Menu changes weekly but I'll still say we had the tuna crudo for starter and for entree the grilled black hawk farm flank steak and the pan seared Joyce farm chicken breast. They both were excellent, and I am rarely impressed by chicken breast ! Our dessert was some sort of a bread pudding that was life changing ! Wine selection was wide and our servers were the best ! Definitely going back when in town again !
Very intimate space set to candle light and live Jazz. The food is five stars well as the atmosphere. It is laid back and not uptight. The Jazz singer had a beautiful voice that was very relaxing and the staff was very attententive. Also the drink menu was great. Several bourbon, gin, and tequila choices. The most memorable being "bless her heart"
David and the rest of the wait staff was fantastic. Very attentive and a lot of fun. Our group selected one of each of the appetizers and we really enjoyed the entire selection. We will be back!
A long-standing favorite, Wiltshire on Market features an ever-changing menu of original and delightful dishes. A sound wine selection and creative cocktails round out the exceptional offerings.
Reservations are highly recommended.
Absolutely phenomenal. The atmosphere, the service, the cocktails, and of course, the food, were all 10/10.
The menu changes weekly, so you never know what you're gonna get, but you know it's going to be incredible.
Happened upon this place after dropping our son off on campus. The food was outstanding (including dessert plate of cookies and truffles) and service even better. Menu changes weekly so hopefully we will be back.
One of my favorite places to eat and drink in Louisville. The cuisine, service and atmosphere all work towards a lovely dining experience. Always a great place to have a drink and an appetizer with friends at the bar.
Good wine list, short with something for everyone. Appetizers are a few excellent bites. Pleasant atmosphere. Reservations basically required, but the bar is full service.
Never had a bad meal here. Staff are knowledgeable, and the owner has a great vision for her establishments around Louisville. Great wine selection and seasonal food.
I was lucky enough to get to have two experience with Wiltshire. First was a bridesmaids Lucheon and the food was delicious. The second time was at the
Resheral dinner, filet was so tender you could cut it with a table knife.Highly recommend them for any event.
AMAZING FOOD AND AMAZINF SERVICE!!! Our pork chops were not cooked to our liking and they took them back and paid for EVERYTHING!!!! They are seriously the best. If you come, ask for Chad!!!
Amazing. They require a covid vaccine card and masks. The service was perfect. Food was delicious.
Saw "Hamilton" at the Saturday matinee and then dined here. Quesadilla was thin crust, flavorful cheese and freshly prepared salsa. My wife had the orange/almond salad and I the lentel soup. Fresh ingredients, soup was a tad bland. But the entrees, WOW!: Tile fish $24 and Tortilini $18 were scrumptious! Perfectly presented, flavorful sauces and correct temperature. Tres leches $8 outstanding and chocolate torte $8, good. Add one glass of wine and the bill was $97 before tip of $19 = $116.
I don't leave reviews, in I general take all of reviews with suspicion. We had all four entrees and all were amazing. It was one of those amazing meals that rarely happen and are impossible to recreate.
Such a great experience! The live music was a perfect complement to a delicious meal. If I didn’t live hundreds of miles away, I would come back often!
Fantastic locally sourced food, and wonderful wine and bourbon selection. The servers and chef are the best in Louisville.
Delicious food, fantastic wine delightful servers. This restaurant is always a special treat and is something truly wonderful.
Decent restaurant, great food
A lovely quiet little place with a wonderful staff offering beautifully crafted plates and a perfect dinner experience every time!
Easily the most underrated fine dining in Louisville. Always delicious, always intriguing.
Honestly one of the best restaurants in town, I've never had anything that was not top notch
Great intimate and nice to start your night at
Awesome place great food family setting. Unbelievably nice staff!!!
Food is outstanding, but the service has gone downhill
Cool little spot that is a local favorite. Food was great and prices were spot on.
Excellent food and service. Recommend the braised pork spare ribs!
Great small dining establishment with amazing food. Try the charcuterie plate.
Second time as memorable as the first (about 5 years ago). I will come again when I'm in this fine city next.
Great atmosphere and delicious food.
Fresh, local, and seasonal. What more could you ask for?
We couldn't have been happier with everything here with a small exception that it is hard to see from the street.
Great drinks and service.
My favorite restaurant in louisville
