Chicken and potato tamales and carne asada tacos. Tamale was mostly bone and potato but had great flavor and was perfectly cooked in the banana leaf. Tacos were on point and the salsa verde was excellent. Warning it’s spicy but so good. Take out window only service is good took about 15 minutes and they accept cards.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! We get takeout regularly and the food is always delicious. Some of our favorites are baleadas, papusas, and seafood soup. Oh my!! They are all so good! And if they have the plantain empanadas, get one! It's filled with cream, fried and coated in sugar! 😋🤤

This is the only Salvadoran restaurant in Louisville that I know of and it's a great hidden gem! Their menu is on the smaller side, but everything on it sounds great. The tacos dorados are fried taquitos and the pupusas are essentially tortillas stuffed with meat. The food tastes great and is relatively inexpensive for the portion sizes. While I don't think they serve alcohol, they have various bottled soft drinks and juices. It's worth a try!

Have been twice now and everything I’ve had has been amazing. The pupusas are to die for, horchata is phenomenal, the carne asada is just 🤤🤤 Super friendly as well. Definitely recommend.

The pupusas are five star. Mixta is the way to go but the queso con loroco is a winner too. Chicharron was just good not over the top amazing. Price point is what makes this a five star spot all together. The area and place itself isn't going to impress anyone but its really more of a take out place anyways. The food is fantastic and the portion just right.

One of my favorite lesser-known places in Louisville. The service can be a little slow, and it's certainly not the best looking restaurant, but the food alone justifies the rating. Try the pupusas with curtido (pictured) and the whole fried fish - you'll be back.

Such good food. The tamales are out of this world. The plantains, the rice, the beans....all the things were great. The cantaloupe juice! We also really enjoyed the fried fish, and of course the pupusas. Go sometime when you are not in a hurry. Service is not super fast but it's worth the wait

I've been here once and heard from other people's experience as well which is enough to say that they take quite a while to give you your food. Many people prefer to call & order food before arriving just to not have to wait long before eating. Though I'm not sure if it's typical Salvadoran food, it's pretty good but still not worth the wait. The tables needed to be cleaned, for I had found a dead bug near the napkins and I was glad I ordered takeout.

Great food! A broader menu would be nice, for newbies lol or for anyone who has never been here. But overall, the food is great and so is the service, the server's are amazing as well and they make you feel very comfortable to be there. Awesome 👍

Every time I've been to this restaurant the food has been amazing, as well as affordable. Their parking lot is small, but if you park on street adjacent to the restaurant there are typically several spots. I've eaten the pupusas on multiple occassions and tried all of the types. 5 stars for everything. Love it.

This is a Diners, Dives and Drive-Ins kind of place. Small with modest tables and chairs, etc. Almost certainly family run. Had the Pupusas--which I have eaten all over the USA and in El Salvador. They were hot, well-stuffed, and flavorful. Working class clientele and neighborhood. Live adventurously!
