My family and I went to homewtown a week ago and had a fabulous experience! Our server Tiffany was wonderful at her job. She was friendly, professional and always made sure that we were taken care of (even when the house was full) Best service we have had in quite some time! Definitely will be back to the Crestwood location!

We ordered six personal pizzas, each with different items and a large cheese bread. Everyone was satisfied with their personal pizzas. This was one of the best pizzas I have ever had. They gave a good amount of toppings and the pizza was extra tasty. The cheese bread was also very good. Highly recommended!

It's always an amazing place for great pizza and related items. The only down side is a lack of deserts in comparison to other pizza chains. The biggest positives is that it's more of a local family style that remembers customers, but also welcomes new customers with some amazing smiles, food and atmosphere. You will not regret your meal here.

Food is good. My family likes it. I like it. It doesn't get as busy as the one in Lagrange, which is nice. I give the food 4/5 stars. The small pizza I ordered for my nieces didn't come out at the same time as the other food did, but I'd also like to add that they did remove the charge for that pizza and informed us of the delay then apologized, and did so without us even making a complaint or asking for the charge to be removed. Thats 5/5 star customer service right there, and at this point in the food industry, I'd take better customer service over better food. Worth returning to.

I just left the location in Crestwood. The place was outstanding. The wait staff was excellent. They were extremely nice and helpful. My waitress was Reese. She was terrific. She brought a drink refill before I could even ask. She made sure I had everything I needed. My pizza was nice and hot. It had been a very long time since I had been to Hometown Pizza. I am definitely coming back. Keep up the excellent work.

We chose the Crestwood location as it was closer to our destination and once again Hometown Pizza is head and tails above all Pizzerias. My Son (Advid Pizza Connoisseur) loves the Cheese Burger Pizza. I love the Hometown Special. We ordered a large 1/2 & 1/2. While the pizza toasted, we enjoyed a house salad. The salad was cold, fresh with tomatoes, cheese, egg half and potato stixs. Dressings were ranch and french. Pizza arrived popping hot and delicious. We love Hometown Pizza. For 31 years straight on December 7, we have had my Son's Birthday celebrations at either the LaGrange or Preston Street locations. No pizza compares to Hometown Pizza and I never pass up a chance to stop in. My Son is now enjoying pizza at Hometown with his family. He said Momma, we need a hometown in New Albany!

The pizza we got was good; sauce, crust and cheese were great. We ordered and paid for a specialty pizza but received about half of the items that were supposed to be on it and some that weren't supposed to be . We ordered kids pizza immediately upon sitting down but received them after the main meal. Service was good and prompt. Some cooks only wore masks when on the dinning room floor but not when preparing the food. Not sure if this is the law or just not common sense. If everyone is covering their face as a barrier to something coming out, we probably don't want that something on our food either.

The pizza was good. The waitress was great. We had a group of about 15 people and she not only kept up with everything but she was nice. I had some regular garlic bread, I thought it was okay but the baking of it was perfect. Crunchy outside and soft inside. The cheese bread looked delicious but I didnt get to try it.

Stand alone location near McDonald's. The place is much bigger on the inside than it looks in the outside. Plenty of seating. Typical Hometown Fair. Pizza was good hoagie was good fries were good. Service was great. I did leave my pizza box on top of my car as I drove off I didn't realize this till I made it back home. It was half a pizza half a hoagie and some fries. I was a little disappointed by that, but my fault. Sorry for the mess I made.

Pizza was pretty good 7 out of 10 except for they forgot to add the ricotta to the colossal cheese pizza we ordered. Service and cleanliness left a bit to be desired. Waitress was friendly, when she came around, had to seek her out for refills a couple of times. The restaurant seems as though it has not had a deep clean in quite some time, also could use a bit of TLC as the dining area looks a little long in the tooth. If these issues were not a factor I would likely have offered up four stars.

Somehow in Louisville there are dozens of pizza options. Many are simply blah. Unremarkable. Hometown is neither. Always excellent and always staffed with friendly competent people, Hometown sets a high bar. Surprisingly good sandwiches and variations on breadsticks too, but the Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza is the king of Louisville's pizza choices. I've seen chains try to replicate it but no-one comes close. If you've been eating chain delivery pizza I strongly recommend you ditch that bad habit and try Hometown.

WOW, Morgan the waitress was excellent and the food was great, all made to our liking!! We had kids in highchairs and the had crayons for them!! Drinks were always acknowledged if we wanted a refill, which is important to me! Great place to go out for Italian food!!! We will Definitely be going back!! Thank You Morgan!! 😊

If you like pizza, this place may be for you. Go for lunch and have the buffet. Very reasonable price and order what you want and they'll bring it out on the buffet while you start with any type pizza that's already there. Staff is absolutely lovely and will take care of what you need. They'll even get you pizza from the buffet so you don't have to get up. Can get crowded but that's what happens when a place is good.

One of our favorite haunts when we used to reside in Pewee Valley. Now we only get there 1-2 times a year as we still have friends in the area. I must say, had this review been written a few years back, it would have gotten five stars. Now, it is more like 3-1/2. The pizza is still solid, but the last 2-3 times we've patroned the Crestwood locale, the service has not been so great. I think I'll just leave it at that. Tasty food and eh service. Yeah....that pretty much sums it up.

Quiet'n cozy! The pizza was fresh and delicious. The pink lemonade is tasty! Our waitress recommended a chocolate cookie pizza that was super tasty. I would encourage everyone to try it. Staff is very friendly. And the price mass moar than anticipated. I shall return!

Pizza is good. Unfortunately they (any location) have no idea how to run a buffet. Always with the mystery pizzas when the buffet should ALWAYS have a cheese, a sausage and a pepperoni...those should be perpetual. It's not rocket science.

The food was phenomenal. I'm usually a thin crust person, but their thick crust is to die for, in my opinion. The service was kind of slow the past two times we've been, even though both times there wasnt much anybody there. But the food outweighed the not so great service.

Very homey atmosphere. The employees are very nice and courteous. They have a great lunch buffett. For dinner I usually grab a small pizza and a Mediterranean or club salad. It makes at least two meals. They're a great, small town pizza joint. The only thing I can say is they need to expand their beer menu past bud/coors/amberbock. Crestwood has a great brewery and Louisville has quite a few. Maybe expand a bit. That's my only complaint.

Hometown Pizza in Crestwood used to be just mediocre with their service and food. I live in Crestwood, and the carry out and food quality had gotten so bad that my husband and I started ordering from the LaGrange Hometown Pizza because their pizzas tasted better. Within the past few months, I have seen a big improvement in the food and service. Our server, Tiffany, was excellent every time we dined in. We were pleasantly surprised about the improvement of service and food quality. I hope the carry out orders we place will reflect the vast improvement of our overall experience. The addition of Tiffany as a server is an excellent move in the right direction. My husband and I were also impressed with how friendly the new staff members are. We have noticed an increase in the number of people dining in and getting carry out. Tiffany gets 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
