Great restaurant....we came in around 4pm so it wasn't that busy inside... They have an opening outside patio with plenty of seating which is nice on the right Kentucky day.... Service was great throughout the visit.... Kids loved their cheese quesadilla so much I ordered them a grilled chicken and cheese one which they loved even more...I had the shrimp tacos which were great and my wife got the chicken and corn dish which she was happy with also.... The top shelf margarita was priced fair and was very good plus right on point with the strength.... Recommend visiting this place and next time we're in town we'll hit them up again

Met up with a friend and I was early. I drank a marg of course and plowed through some chips. The wait staff was patient and attentive, even allowed me to pay from my table. Food proportions very good and price is decent. Overall the quality of everything is just about right. Been here many times, will visit again.

This restaurant is a must-go if you like Mexican cuisine, and don't want to spend an astronomical amount of money on good food. There are several TV's to keep up with various games going on. Sections that allow for two people or a large party. Their menu offers a variety of options and they'll work with you if you want to customize. They also have a bar if you want some adult drinks. Also, they are usually very busy around lunch/dinner, but service doesn't lack. Which is nice. Overall, this would be a great place to take the family out and have a good experience.

The food is good! Sat outside! They have these battery powered eiffel tower wind fans to keep the flies off your food! Ask for the spicy salsa! The Steak Ranchero was good, but really greasy and fatty, my husband loves that. Me? Not so much! The chorizo queso was great! The service was 100% better! I'll sit indoors next time though.

Extremely fast service!!! Food was good and fresh. I got the L2 beef burrito with white cheese, refried beans and rice. My wife ate steak fajita quesadilla. I had a nice experience and I was hungry. Food didn’t take no time to reach the table.

This is a terrific pace for a good Mexican lunch. I've been 2 days in a roll, the photos are from today I had the Baha grilled tilapia tacos and my wife ordered the chicken Burrito Verdes which she said was large enough to feed a small family.. lol We are happy with both the food and service which is attentive and accurate with the orders. Definitely a place to try if you're in the fern creek/Glen Mary area.

It's been our goto date night sorry for quite a while. Queso has been the reason we continue to go back, but the last 2 or 3 times that's been lacking. I highly recommend the steak fajita quesadilla.

Excellent food and service! We got a large catering order for 25 people. Fajita bar! Everything was ready when I arrived to pick it up. The manager helped me carry everything out to my car. All the items were clearly marked and organized. We had more than enough food with leftovers! Everything was delicious.

Very good hot salsa, you have to request it when you get your chips. Everything that I have ordered here has been fast and very good. The only complaint, I DO NOT recommend ordering from third party delivery. I ordered last weekend, was honestly not a good idea to drive, and they asked the driver for my credit card. When I ordered, that was all entered into the web portal or app. I got a message 30 minutes later saying my order was cancelled, I was refunded so not a 100% negative experience.

Louisville is full of Mexican restaurants and many of them offer a decent menu at decent prices. But then you have Fiesta Time Amigos in Fern Creek. The menu may look similar to some of the other places in the area but the quality of the food and its preparation make this place great. Pair the excellent food with top notch service and great prices you cannot ask for much more. However there is more. This place has become a legitimate part of the local community, the same families come back week after week to eat and celebrate life. The employees become friends and get to know you by name. They genuinely make you feel cared for and will do everything to make sure your experience is top notch. You have to ask for your fajitas in a bowl, its unique and delicious. What a great place!

If you havent eaten at this place, it's a must!!!!! I has heard that this Mexican restaurant was very good. I had just finished up with my nail appointment and smelled this food as soon as I walked out. I decided to order mine to go. I was greeted immediately, my order was taken promptly and politely. I ordered a combo plate with 1 burrito. 1 enchilada, and 1 taco. My first bite was something I will always remember. The beef was seasoned perfectly and the tortilla was just right. I will return here now that I know how good it is.

Food was pretty good. But first they sat us in a dark room, where we couldn't see our food. Then they sat us in the back by the restrooms. Then, they actually ask is if we could move to a booth because they have a party coming in. We saw our waiter maybe 1 time, including taking our order (which was wrong) and he didn't bring us our check we had to walked up front to pay. Food is always been good but the service hasn't always been great.

It was my first time here so I don't know if my experience is normal but it was wonderful. Friendly greeting at the door seated immediately, just very friendly wonderful service and the tacos were five star. Next time I'll try something else but it'll be hard to switch from those tacos they were that good :-)

Ordered a large carryout order. The food was delicious and well packed to take to the park. We had 3 families on one ticket and none of the packages were labeled. Once things are topped with cheese it's hard to tell what went with what. We had to open every box to ensure individuals got the right meal. Maybe adding abbreviations on the lids? Especially right now. Everyone Loved the food and we will be back.

I ordered a steak quesadilla with rice and beans and a sweet tea for pickup. The steak quesadilla was the best one I've ever had. Juicy and packed with the right balance of cheese. The sweet tea tasted freshly brewed and the rice and beans were more flavorful than other mexican restaurants I've been to (El Nopal for example). The complimentary bag of chips was filled to the brim and the salsa provided was more than enough. It was a great value as all of this was only $11.66. Thank you Fiesta Time Amigos for providing me a flavorful and filling meal on Easter!

We go to Fiesta Time probably 3 to 4 times a month and it's usually pretty good but this time me and my wife got the chicken fiestas and mine had very little chicken at all but a ton of onions. They also tasted like they ran out of seasoning or something they didn't have any flavor to them. Just not what we usually experience.

There aren’t many upsides to living in fern creek, but fiesta time amigos is one of them. It’s hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the city, and lucky for me, it’s just down the street. Service is great, the entire staff is extremely nice, and the food is amazing. The steak fajita quesadilla is the best thing I’ve ever ordered at any Mexican restaurant, ever. It’s so good, in fact, I’m afraid to ever order anything else. My boyfriend and I frequent this place on every “cheat day”, and I’m so flippin glad we found it.

It's the cheesiest Mexican restaurant ever! That's really a compliment. If your entree has cheese, you will get alotta cheese. I am not kidding! The have good friendly service, big portions, and good cheese dip (more cheese!). I love the #1 combo and mixed Chicken and Steak Fajitas. You probably won't be able to eat all your fajitas and will have to take the other half home but that's alright. Try the cheesiest Mexican restaurant in Fern Creek..."Chiesta" Time Amigos!

Only four stars because the service was a bit slow. We had to call our waiter over after he was on his cell phone for a while and didn't notice us waving for him. The food was delicious though and definitely worth another trip out there.

Not very impressed. Standard Mexican-American fare. Service was quick but environment was not impressive (hospital overhead lighting not very welcoming). Every wall had a giant TV blaring different sports programs (why this is a thing now I don't understand). Waiter was impatient, not very friendly, and did a very basic service. Salsa was more sauce than salsa. Fajitas toppings didn't include any pico (which I've always seen when ordering fajitas out). If this was the only Mexican restaurant in the area it would pass but with so many Mexican restaurants in Louisville and the surrounding area I probably won't be coming back to this one.

The best alternative, actually a better alternative apposed to Elnopal in my opinion. El napol has become a little too commercial while Fiesta Time Amigos remain very authentic sticking to the script with different recipes and menu items, while staying a familybusiness. Their burritos and enchiladas taste excellent, fresh, and steaming hot. For my take out order, I could tell the difference right off the bat by how it was prepared by seeing the cheese melted with the red sauce! They dope AF!

We usually went to El Nopal in town due to a certain server. A few months ago we realized that he was no longer there. We found out the other day that he was working here at fiesta time. We now have a new favorite mexican restraunt in the creek. Food is good, atmosphere is good, nice and friendly staff. Just hope some of the other servers can learn a little from our favorite server.

4 Stars for actually having alcohol in their margaritas!! Food is average overall, but the salsa is above average! Enchiladas Rancheros was salty but more than I could eat. Portions are typical for these types of restaurants.

Coming from a Mexican family, this is as close as I'll get to Mexican foods that I don't cook, so I'll be definitely eating here often! This place also has a clean environment and friendly staff.
