Pretty average Chinese food but still good. It was cheap and hit the spot. Not much else you can ask for.

I've been there twice this past week and loved it! Food was great, and the gentleman behind the counter was very polite and courteous. I miss the old China Inn down by UofL so I've chosen this venue as my new Friday evening go-to for to-go! In short, it's my new take out place. Plus, the inside is spotless! Love it!

Egg rolls are pretty good. Bourbon chicken is amazing. Shrimp fried rice is really good too. I was disappointed in the Peking chicken it was good flavor wise and the sauce was good but soggy chicken. Our go to Chinese spot and pretty cheap as well.

One of our favorite Chinese takeout places! We tend to stick to our go-to menu items (beef lo mein, crab Rangoon, wonton soup, shrimp egg fu yung, and sometimes we’ll add beef and broccoli stir fry). We’re never disappointed and it’s just good comfort food! The timeliness of placing our order and pickup it up is never too long and the staff is very professional.

We typically eat from here at least twice a month. But I'm really just upset that I ordered pineapple chicken and got sweet and sour chicken with a pineapple sauce. No actual pineapples. Now I've ordered this dish from here before and got pineapple chicken. The kitchen sauce was too sweet and just has pineapple flavor. And if I wanted "sweet and sour" chicken, then I would have ordered it. Otherwise everything it usually pretty good.

I used to live by this restaurant and I could go there in person to place an order and check it to be sure it was correct before I left. Now I live further away and ordered delivery from here. You failed to include the sweet and sour sauce that I paid $1.50 for. Please quality check the orders before they are picked up by a delivery driver so that I get everything I pay for.

Sweet and Sour chicken, pork egg roll was pretty good, but the Egg drop/won ton soup was kinda gross. We thought it was interesting combination by mixing 2 different soups together but tasted like they cooked it in a back alley mud puddle filled with chems. But I gave stars for the Sweet & Sour chicken. They haven't lost our business but we will just order those soups separately next time.

I Love Chinese Fried Dumplings and every now again some of the restaurants sale Pot Stickers that can be bought in Kroger...I don't like them because it's like an egg roll inside. I don't eat onions which are inside Pot Stickers. I asked the lady 3 times and she kept repeating Steamed or Fried. I repeated myself "are they the real dumplings" she said yeah. Got home and they were Pot Stickers 🤣

During a raging pandemic, Double Dragon II has managed to keep their doors open and the good food going! I've eaten there for years and gotten to know some of the people there. The service is always great and the food is prepared great. They have even made some things at special request for me. I'm glad to keep going there if it means keeping them in business during these difficult times for small businesses.

BEST hands-down for basic Chinese food in Louisville. I get take out from here all the time. The staff is friendly and the inside is nice to eat in if you’d like. I’d recommend their beef lo mein, it’s my favorite!

Excellent shrimp toast, and the place is always busy. I wonder if this restaurant has some of the same staff as the Golden Dragon that used to be next to the "Dirty Kroger" in the early 2000 s...the shrimp toast is the same and many dishes are as well. If so, glad to see them back; if not, glad to have an excellent inexpensive Chinese place nearby.

I feel welcomed every time when I stopped in for some nice Chinese food. They are busy and packed for lunch, but despite the fact they are always busy, my food has always been ready within 10 minutes, which is just what I need for lunch. Come try it out if you have not! You would not regret.

Coming from New York to Louisville, you will find no better Chinese restaurant that has the same amazing flavor than here. I have no regrets eating here, for the great flavor and cost, I'm surprised the restaurant isn't packed on a daily basis. Quick service, good portions, free refills, amazing food. I'd recommend the boneless spare ribs with pork fried rice.

The food here is always amazing! It's not too expensive and it's definitely my go to. You can dine in or carry out from 10:30 am to 10 pm. If you're not from Louisville, or even if you are, this is definitely the best Chinese food you can get.

I love their lunch special, a really great deal. I have tried a lot of war sui gai and they have the best in town. Also, I believe they added new dishes to their menu. I tried their chicken pad thai, extra spicy and it was surprising good. It is a bit expensive compared to the lunch special but flavors of the pad thai were spot on. I would definitely recommend trying the pad thai.

The food here is pretty good and reasonably priced for fast food chinese/american.. this and the fact that they are so close to my house are the main reasons I keep going back time and time again.. However, I will say that my patience is running very thin with the overly RUDE and completely impatient woman that answers the phone to take orders.. she constantly cuts you off, rushes you through your order, never gives a total and is just completely rude!!!

Pretty good. Very friendly service and a great lunch deal - entree, drink and a crab Rangoon for $7 and change. A little slow and the food is pretty par for the course. Good but not extraordinary. Convenient location near UofL.

Would give 5 stars, but last time I ate there, they listed everything we ordered with red pepper flakes. I like spicy, but this didn't even taste good. Every other time was incredibly good.

I usually stop in here when I'm in the area and I spend alot of money feeding 6 people but the post two visits once they forgot to give me my Lo main noodles and I ordered the wrong thing that was on me but when I got home I didn't have no food to eat because of my called in wrong order and them forgetting the noodles and the meal didn't come with the egg rolls and I ordered 6 extra that I didn't get called they did replace my noodles with my next visit but gave me a small and I ordered a lg and that oder the food was All there but it was Dry... I was just disappointed Noone was happy with their food and you know when you want something and you finally get it and it's nasty well that's how we felt...I will order from here again but I will be saying something before I place my order.

The Best Chinese Food for 60 miles. If you want chinese food that tastes delicious and like it should, then you go here. Accept no substitutes, I've tried them all, and this is the only place to go. I moved across the river a year ago and I still only go here for chinese despite there being seven other places closer. The best part is, go there a few times and the staff remembers you ;) Prices are very reasonable and the the taste is magnificent!

My order has been correct EVERY time and piping hot but the plastic lids on their styrofoam containers are dry rotted or smthn, they ALWAYS crack in ,in a circular shape into whatever sauce I've gotten.

Great experience when I went there for my lunch break. I currently work at Manual High School and I came to grab to get some of my favorite food. The women were so nice and polite, they made my food was fresh and good which made me really grateful to have my food made really great people.
