Reviews of Clay Oven Indian Restaurant
Lovely place...clean and comfortable, the employees are very kind and personable. And the food is well made, delicious, and very reasonably priced! Perfect for a date night or a quick lunch or a group gathering.
Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this restaurant!!!
Good food and ambience is also good. The background songs were bad though. The person who was serving us didn't even gave us option to order main course. He gave the bill when we were about to complete starters and bread. That is the only bad part.
Editing this because I somehow forgot to include text when I originally rated this place.
I just wanted to say we always have a good experience here. The food is consistently good and the service, while sometimes a little slow when it's busy, is very polite. Any time we have an issue they always make it right. I usually choose this place over other Indian restaurants because I really enjoy the staff.
It was a great experience! Service was great, the food came fast and was delicious. The garlic naan was amazing and the chili naan was definitely spicy. Three main dishes plus an appetizer easily fed 8 people. Beautiful seating area is perfect for a small party. Bathrooms are available.
First time eating Indian food. I feel deprived. Every bite that’s entered my mouth has been complex and flavorful. Some of the most amazing flavors I’ve ever eaten. This place is amazing!!!
Absolutely delicious food and friendly staff. Togo order was correct and hot when I got home. So flavorful! Excellent lamb curry and lentil soup!!
Went in for some quick lunch on a whim and it was so worth it! Had the chicken Tikka which was sooo good with some plain buttered Naan and a chair tea, Chai was amazing too, homemade. Would highly recommend! Seems like the place was hit hard by COVID as they have very limited hours and the place is fairly large inside. Go check them out!
We went in for the lunch buffet, arriving a few minutes past 2:00. The door reads Lunch Buffet 11:00-2:30. The food was great, full of flavor and the staff was very pleasant. At 2:15 the mood changed from a pleasant lunch to an uncomfortable race to eat. They brought the check before we finished our first plate. At 2:20 we were told if we wanted to get dessert to go get it and set it aside on our table. At 2:25 a staff member said we had 5 minutes to get our food. Then we were ignored while they removed all the food from the buffet and started cleaning up. When I did get someone's attention to get drink refills they bought them in to-go cups! We finished our food quickly and very uncomfortably while the staff watched us eat. I was extremely disappointed with the whole experience, especially after reading so many positive reviews. This was our first visit, and possibly our last, as we aren't sure if we will be coming back. If we do, it definitely will be before 2:00 so we have time to eat peacefully!!
Average, they gave me the incorrect order, then they tried to make up a silly excuse, finally they took it off my bill. They tried to convince me that 1/2 of a chicken was 3 legs and one small thigh. "in India this is considered 1/2 chicken??? I said we aren't in India. Food was good, but over priced. Great service except for their mistake.
Came to this place with a party of five. This place was surprisingly empty at 1pm in the afternoon. The naan was delicious. One got chicken tiki masala, chicken mango, and I got lamb vanduloo (probably spelled that wrong). Everyone loved there meals. For 5 of us (two splitting a meal) it ran $60 before tip. Would definitely go again.
This is my new favorite Indian spot in Louisville! The staff was so friendly and it was nice that they all helped each other throughout our meal. Our waters were full and our basmati rice was always refilled. Best prices I’ve ever seen for this cuisine as well! Super affordable. I can’t personally handle spice well and they really went above and beyond to make my meal enjoyable! It was so flavorful and I definitely ate way too much, but it was my favorite lamb curry I’ve ever had! The pieces of naan were huge and so good. The pakora we got were awesome too and the flavors were very complex and fantastic. It was warm, clean, and welcoming inside and I’ll definitely be going here from now on!
The food was amazing and it was so delicious. Some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. 10/10
If you're looking for authentic flavors of the Himalayas, Clay Oven nails it. All of their food is painstakingly prepared and beautifully presented to please their guests to ensure their return, and they do so effortlessly. Be sure to request low sodium as their food has become incredibly salty - not recommended for those hoping to lose weight or on a sodium restricted diet. They hold a special place in my heart because they are so incredibly service-dog friendly, unlike so many places here in Kentucky. Unlike Shalimar, their portions are generous and more than satisfying. We prefer the buffet because of the outstanding variety and quality although the sit-down dinners are excellent. I would be happier without the TV's in the restaurant - I feel it had much more ambiance when the screens showed images of the Himalayas, Nepal & India but apparently they were forced to keep up with demands. The quiet volume of the Indian classical music was always enjoyable and very relaxing. I cannot say enough about the owner, cook and wait staff - their kindness, service, willingness to please, friendliness and professionalism are top-shelf. Thank you, Arif!
Absolute best indian food around here! Food is delicious EVERY time and portions are generous. My family are repeat customers and I recommend this restaurant to everyone I know!
This was our first time having Indian food and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Every single bite was delicious! Amazing flavors and top notch customer service. We had the best experience! Had Tikka Masala, butter chicken and garlic naan. The perfect lunch!! Thank you!!
Stopped in for Sunday lunch. The Garlic Naan was fresh and soft. The Chicken Tikka Masala was excellent! Flavorful and tender - the rice fluffy. I would absolutely recommend stopping in. The service is also exceptionally friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!!
I've never tried Indian food until I came here. I had the Lamb Coconut and it was really good. Especially love the Naan here, it's amazing. I would definitely come back here again.
This is NOT a buffet. You have to order off a menu. We’ve ate a a few Indian restaurants and this is by far the best we’ve ever ate. The naan bread was so fresh and so so good. I got curry chicken medium heat and it was superb! We will be back when in the area. The bathroom needed cleaned. The floor was nasty and that’s my only complaint.
Excellent lunch buffet for under $10! Lots of vegetarian options and a variety of delicious dishes. Friendly and attentive staff. I come here all the time for lunch and love how their dishes are different depending on the day.
The best Nepali hospitality, service and food in Louisville.
Amazing! Everything I had was delicious. Great vegetarian options. Staff were very attentive and pleasant. Would 100% eat there again if I'm in the area.
We had to wait for 30 mins just to give the order. The food arrived after another 25 mins. The food is more North Indian. The chicken momo’s were good. The naan was fresh and tasted good.
Yesterday I visited this Indian restaurant, my experience was great , the food was awesome i give 5 rating for taste and flavors , specially I need to mention there ambience and customer service it was so good, they are very friendly to there customers and talking so politely, even though restaurant was damn busy ,they took care of us very friendly, the tall guy who served us was very friendly and caring, definitely I'm gonna visit this Indian restaurant again.
We've always thought this was a wonderful place to eat until tonight. A couple next to us waited 45 minutes for their food!!! I complained and was told it was not my business. Said their kitchen was backed up but I saw at least 15 to go orders in the time they were here. SO MUCH FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Good Indian food.
I was pleasantly surprised by the food, considering this was a random Indian restaurant we found next to Kroger. I especially liked the saag paneer.
The service was quick and the food was tasty, very friendly staff
Waiter was fabulous. Mango and Nav Ratan Korma dishes prepared mild as we asked and delicious. We had leftover to bring home and the waiter gave us additional rice to mix with the dishes. Never had that happen at any Indian restaurant before.
Really great food and everyone was so friendly & they accommodated a large group. Will go back.
Great place! Enjoyed the atmosphere. The restroom needs so upgrade though. The food was delicious
Stopped by for dinner with 2 others. We shared the Chana Saag, Aloo Gobi and Dal Tadka. Everything was delicious, my favorite dish was the Chana Saag. We also got an order of the Vegetable Pakora and the Garlic Naan. The Naan is an absolute must!!
Very hospitable! Food was absolutely wonderful! Hope to return again soon!
Clay oven is truly the best Indian restaurant in Louisville! We eat here at least twice a month. We always have great service, specifically with Keshav, but all the wait staff have always been fantastic. This restaurant has a great home-y feel for us, but what keeps us coming back is the amazing food! The “Indian hot “ spice level is what we always choose and it’s perfect. There is no better Indian restaurant in the city!
What it lacks in ambiance it more than makes up for in the food. We had four different dishes, two appetizers, and each was very unique and delicious. Generous portions, reasonable prices. Coconut lamb, vindaloo, goat curry and Tikka masala were all wonderful.
This is probably my favorite Indian restaurant in Louisville. The atmosphere is nice, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. I always go for the Aloo Gobi and it never disappoints.
One of favorite restaurants 🙂💯. Service is always excellent. Food is very yummy 😋
Excellent atmosphere, authentic dishes. Chicken Tikka Masala was artfully presented with a thin yogurt swirl, and my Seekh Kebab was incredible. Also, my garlic naan was warm, flakey and just the right chewy texture.
All dishes have variable spice levels, so you can get what you're comfortable with. This places clearly cares about both substance and presentation. My new favorite Indian restaurant in the city.
Very friendly and kind staff
Not overwhelming in number of dishes
However whatever they have are super good
(I might be little biased :D, coz they greeted me saying "Namaste"
I don't remember the last time I was greeted with that)
My favorite indian restaurant
Very tasty, great quality and service
We walked in 15 mins before closing and they were very hospitable, helped us select our dishes for take out and got us drinks as we waited for our take out.
Good. I liked the food we ordered. No buffet yet due to covid restrictions...but overall satisfied...may be have to try one more time...
Great food. Was a bit confused upon walking in. Took a bit to be greeted and seated. After being seated the gentleman left us for a good 10 minutes - we had no idea what to do with it being our first time to an Indian buffet. The gentleman was nice but we we just felt lost. The food was worth it. I'm happy to become a regular here.
This is my favorite Indian restaurant in Louisville. Excellent lunch buffet. Perfect for someone new to Indian food as it is not overly spicy. The staff are wonderful, the place is very nicely decorated and clean inside. The food is so delcious. Always hot and fresh! I would recommend this place to anyone who is new to Indian food, or to someone sh is very familiar with it. Yum!
FINALLY! An Indian restaurant that made the food spicy enough! People always look at my blond-haired, blue-eyed person and think I can't handle the heat but I WANT IT ALL! I got some AMAZING chicken 65 tonight with heat but also GREAT flavor. My friend is not a spicy person so he got the chicken momo dumplings which were also delicious. Service was ON POINT and they had tons of safety measures in place. Fantastic dining experience!
Very good food. A place to go to relax. Steady flow of meal but don't expect it quick. Staff were very kind. Bathroom could use a little cleaning but not bad at all
Good food. Sad no more Lunch Buffet
Great food, excellent service. We had a big order and they had everyone's name on their meal, and the degree of spice (hotness) was just right.
I think we've eaten at every Indian place in Louisville over the past 10 years and this is one of the best. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming - as an example, last time I ordered carryout, as I was waiting the waiter gave me free coke. I didn't ask for it, he just offered it. We've had very good experience with the food too. Everything we've had has been excellent. Perhaps the only criticism is that the buffet doesn't have quite the selection of others in Louisville but it's all tasty.
I Try yet I think is so Awesome Place and People to get the best food
I’m giving 5 stars after just getting my first plate and having eaten it half way. This is an award winning Indian restaurant. Buffet is amazing. I thought the Boston area had some great Indian restaurants, especially buffet. But, this one is a gem. #winner
Delicious cuisine and super friendly employees. I am from Canada and wasn't expecting such amazing service in USA. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be coming back!
An incredibly extensive menu of traditional and fusion Indian cuisine. My husband was able to order his favorite dish which is usually hard to find. Spice levels are as described, and the ingredients are very fresh. The paneer is homemade and INCREDIBLE! The naan is soft and fluffy and one order is enough for one dish.
It’s a long drive for us to get there but it’s the best Indian food we’ve found here so far.
I eat here almost every other day or week. This place is amazing, the food is great and always taste fresh. I recommend Clay oven if you love authentic Indian dishes. My bf loves Indian food now because of this place. Best Indian food in Louisville ky ! 💕 …
Food is OK but pricey for the potions and quality. Staff seems unwilling to accommodate requests.
Price for the buffet is reasonable. I requested a booth and it was made available once a customer left which was not long. Gave me a chance to eye the buffet.
Stayed away from the chicken as it looked dry, but all the other options were good. Very good veggie options as well as fish and your chicken/goat curry. All food tasted fresh.
Waiters were polite and visited my table frequently to give water. It was relatively busy.
Nice vegetarian selection on the buffet. We went late in the buffet's window so the food didn't look super fresh or full, but it still tasted great! It wasn't as spicy overall as another Indian buffet on Hurstbourne. The labels on the buffet were hand written on post-it notes. Plates flatware, glasses, and table were all very clean.
We plan to go again!
Clay Oven is amazing! The food is flavorful and delicious. My fiancé and I’s go-to meal is the paneer or tikka masala, vegetable pakora, and garlic naan. Raj is very friendly and remembers us every time we are in to eat. They have a great punch card rewards as well. You can’t go wrong eating here if you’re in the mood for some great Indian food.
The buffet had many options, all of which were delicious. My eyes lit up when I saw they had Lamb biryani on the buffet. SO SO good. The service is also attentive and courteous, and it's a family friendly place. One of the best Indian restaurants in the east end in my opinion!
Absolutely delicious!! My husband and I are indian food snobs. This place is top notch! Great service and atmosphere. The buffet has a great variety and some dishes even change along the way. My only sadness was no Butter Chicken but Chicken Tikka Masala is a good substitute in a jam! I also liked they brought a big basket of fresh, hot naan to the table. A must eat in Louisville.
We had the buffet and it was wonderful. , excellent fresh delicious food. This is Indian food that everyone would love. Very affordable and great service. And if you're a frequent customer, you can earn free food. :-)
Fantastic restaurant, one of our favorites. We come here a couple times a month. The staff is super kind and friendly. They also offer take out which is nice. I love everything I have tried here. It's authentic and very fresh food. The food also comes out very quick and is always delicious. We will keep coming back. It's a must try if you not been here yet.
I've been here twice, never before had I eaten Indian food. I was hesitant, but it was good! The buffet is the way to go if you've never had it before, and I don't imagine I would ever order off the menu unless something really strikes me.
Their naan bread is delicious, and the chicken items that I've had have been tasty. It's not a flavors that I can identify, they're just different for those of you who are new to Indian food like I was.
It's a very nice restaurant, the tables are nice and the staff is courteous. I think it's the owner that seated us the 2nd time, he wasn't nearly as 'stiff' as the guy we had seat us the first time, but it's a good place. I would recommend giving them a try, buffet is the best bet and it's not bad. $10 for the buffet.
Have always had a positive and wonderful experience. Have tested multiple foods for gluten with Nima tester and all but onion chutney have came back gluten free. The staff are able to help with selection and it appears most are gluten free. Happy gluten free eating. Love the food, it’s so yummy.
I've been in town for work for several weeks and have been ordering delivery from this place almost every night. SO GOOD. The baingan bhartha, chana saag, chana masala, navratan korma, aloo kulcha, onion kulcha, keema naan... All incredible. I asked for "indian spicy" every time and every time they made it super spicy and flavorful and delicious. Priced very reasonably too. I could not recommend this place more highly. I've lived in California and NYC most recently and this place has far better food than almost any Indian restaurant I've been to on either coast.
I frequent Clay Oven on my lunch breaks. I prefer the lunch time crowd because I know I can get in and out in under an hour due to them never being overly crowded.
Clay Oven has been clean and orderly every time I've came for lunch. The food is buffet style and after the waiter or waitress seats you, you're free to choose your favorite Indian dishes or try something new.
The food is very fresh. They will even swap out food that hasn't been touched just so it stays fresh.
One of the perks of Clay Oven is that you get a frequent visitor card. Each time you checkout, present your card and they'll stamp it. On the final stamp, you get a free meal!
If you're looking for great service and a quick buffet style meal- come to Clay Oven for a lunch you won't regret!
Chicken biryani ❤️ I'm pregnant and this is what I crave! I've had this dish several places but this restaurant is by far the best. $13.77 so kind of pricey but definitely worth it. Customer service was excellent and wait time was reasonable.
One of my favorite restaurants in town for this style food. The buffet is always satisfying, but I've been far more impressed with items I've ordered from the menu, both eat-in and carryout. Dishes can have a sublime, super spicy heat when requested.
My wife and I had been procrastinating eating Indian food for the longest time. While in quarantine there isn't much else to do besides try new things to eat lol. I cant explain in words how great their food is! The chicken Korma, Tikka Masala, and Chicken Biryani are the dishes we have tried so far the Korma being our favorite but they are all amazing and one entree is enough for 2 people but you will want more later so order 2 entrees lol! Oh and the Rosemary Naan is so amazing!! If you dont like spicy get it mild and it will still taste just as good as spicy. We order medium and I think it's just right! Food is always fresh and service is great! I would give Clay Oven 10 stars if I could!
AMAZING! My fiancée and I visited Clay Oven just for the hell of it, because it’s in our local area next to the Kroger and we were really just curious. The experience ended up being great, the food tasted exceptional, and the prices are very fair for the quality of food they serve. We will definitely be returning in the future.
My top menu recommendations include the: vegetable pakora, garlic naan, and the chicken tikka masala.
We've done takeout four or five times in the past 2-3 months and have been very satisfied with everything we have ordered (chicken korma, chicken biryani rice, etc.). We're a little picky about Indian food, having experienced many poor restaurants over the years, but I would say the sauces at Clay Oven have a certain depth of flavor that we appreciate. Takeout orders are prepared quickly and the prices are certainly reasonable. Haven't experienced dining in yet, though.
Nice place. Cloth napkins and table cloths, very nice but very comfortable. Food is very good and the service was really good. Only two things: why is a football game playing at an Indian food restaurant, luckily no on was watching it and cheering, and I prefer that saag have something in it, like paneer. Nothing major though. Worth dealing with the traffic.
Always asked if everything was ok. Was very polite and friendly. Loved our server. She refilled our glasses often. The lady was super nice to us even when she accidentally spilled some tiki masala on (which I would mad about). Lovely experience couldn’t ask for more!
The lunch buffet was fresh and the dishes were flavorful. The place was clean and service was attentive. I really enjoyed all the items on the buffet. The goat was outstanding compared to other buffets. Not rubbery at all. I will be going back.
most amazing indian food ever to exist
Great Atmosphere, amazing food! Soft music while enjoying authentic Indian and Nepali food. Momo (Nepali dumpling) is a must try if you come here. The best place to have Indian dinner in Louisville. Very clean and friendly people, they have an exceptional customer service! If you are in Louisville, clay oven is the first place you need to stop by for dinner and lunch.
Great food. Great prices. Great service. I am a bit of a picky eater. The waiter noticed I was picking out the onions in my chicken and came over and offered to remake my food so I would bee happy. Of course I told them it wasn't necessary and continued too enjoy the great service.
Consistently delicious and friendly!!! Love the lunch buffet. ❤️ Come back for dinner with my sweetie. Wonderful lamb mango. So good! Best gulab jamun in Louisville.
As an Indian, I give this place my seal of approval for authentic Indian food. A lot of "Indian Restaurants" provide dishes catered to the non-Indian demographic and often loses the authenticity of the flavors and spices used in the Indian recipes.
Clay Oven does a good job catering to both the true Indian side of spices and flavors while offering the not so intense version to those who are looking to try the Indian style without having to fully immerse themselves in it (my non-Indian wife appreciates this A LOT haha)
One of my favorite restaurants in Louisville! The chicken mahkni is my favorite dish and always cooked perfectly. The waiters provide great service and prices are very reasonable. Visit at least once a month because I can't get enough of this restaurant!
Thia place delivers via postmates and I'm super happy about it. Their Chicken tikka masala (while tame) is very flavorful. I always get naan with my order and am never disappointed. You know food is good when you have to dance while you eat 🤤 …
Butter nnan has no butter but you see some dash on the paper.
Indian hot has no meaning It is still American hot. Not spicy at all.
Some loud repeating music goes on and on.
Very friendly staff, with good food and large portions. Its the only Indian place in town I go to because they can clearly identify what Gluten Free items are available (buffet is out due to cross contamination concerns for celiac sufferers). Parking can be a bit frustrating due to shared lot. They are very fast for take out as well.
First visit today. My grandson had the Jungle Kebob, my husband had Seekh (spelling?) Lamb Kebob and I had the Chicken Tikka Masala. It all was amazing. The flavors were so good. The onion Naan bread beyond delicious. The staff was so polite. I can't wait to go again.
Excellent lunch buffet with great atmosphere and presentation. Wonderful staff and some of the best Indian food in town. I used to work nearby and would stop by regularly.
We Ordered
1. Chai
2. Paneer Burji
3. Garlic Nann
4. Dal Makhni
Chai that we ordered was so amazing that it remembered me of “Tapri wali chai from Mumbai”
Paneer Bhurji , Garlic Naan and Dal Makhni was amazing and awesome.
We visited this place just by looking into its comments and ratings and definitely worth eating here… Me and my friends are planning a trip soon to this place again….
Best place to have authentic Indian Food!
Being from San Francisco with a zillion indian restaurants. i must admit . this is the Best Indian food I've had in a long time. my short trip turned out to be well lit. . Suraj is just awesome . give it a try. no regrets guaranteed.
We’ve been in for lunch here twice and both times were amazing. The staff remembered us on visit 2 and welcomed us with the warmest smiles and great service. The food was delicious both times. We’ll be back for sure.
The lunch buffet is incredibly delicious. This is some of the best Indian food I have had. The staff was also very responsive and friendly. I will definitely be back...
Went for Thanksgiving with my family. Been back twice since because we like it so much. Would go more often if it weren't such a long drive and if the prices were lower, not a knock on their prices, they are right in line with similar restaurants, I just can't afford to spend $65 (for 3 of us) eating out often.
The service, like the decor isn't stellar, but it is adequate. And maybe I don't know good Indian curry, I know I like Clay Oven's better than Taj Palace or Shalimar or Bombay Grill, and the family loves Clay Oven's tandoor chicken.
IMHO if you like Indian food or want to try it, Clay Oven is the best on the East side of Louisville.
One of the best Indian restaurant in Louisville! Staff is so nice and hospitality is very good. Their gravy’s be it veg or non veg, it’s the best! I would love to visit again and again.
My husband and I have been here numerous times and have been treated with the utmost respect and the food has been lovely. It is our new Louisville favorite for Indian and they were very warm and concerned with our dining experience while we were there.
My family has been going here on Christmas Eve for dinner for at least 4 years now. The food is incredible, and the staff very nice. We order carryout quite a bit throughout the year as well. Highly recommend it!!
Went here for our anniversary. Our food was fantastic, wish the menu had a little better item description but it wasn't that big a deal. Friendly staff and we were seated as soon as we got there. The decor inside was nice as well.
We've tried several Indian places in Louisville over the years. Without mentioning names, the old place on Bardstown Rd, the brand new place in Bardstown Rd, the place on Hurstbourne Pkwy, and Clay Oven is hands down the best we've had. I've tried almost everything on the menu and have really enjoyed, if not loved, everything I've tried. Great flavors, very consistent, excellent presentations, clean place, very friendly staff, white tablecloths but reasonably priced. We love Clay Oven!
I live in Annapolis and prefer to buy my curry here than there. Decor is awfully basic but food is great his restaurant is frequently used by all British people/service men - that's a good thing! This is there Mexican.
Amazing restaurant with a great lunch buffet. Perfect for a casual lunch or a more formal dinner date. It's my go to spot anytime I'm introducing someone to Indian cuisine.
Best Indian cuisine in town. The buffet has everything you could ask for at a low price. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Upscale environment and music.
Warm Service and Tasty Food! What more can you ask for for a pleasant evening. Do try this Indian place on a cozy corner of East Louisville. Your tastebuds will definitely agree to the food served here!
This place is a hidden gem. The food is ALWAYS hot and fresh. The service surpasses most restaurant. If you like buffets their lunch buffet is a must try.
The owners are nepalese and they have a small selection of nepalese dishes, but otherwise it's what you would expect of Indian restaurants in the midwest. They are very friendly and have the requisite lunch buffet. I have almost only eaten their vegetarian food, so I recommend saag (extra paneer please) and channa, but I've never encountered a bad dish. It has a diner atmosphere and is pretty small, but rarely crowded with plenty of parking. They have a dinky wine and beer selection and always seem to be showing the news on two large televisions.
Big fan of their lamb korma. Excellent Indian cuisine with a variety of dishes Look forward to the buffet when/if it ever re-opens. Love it!
Not my favorite in town but very adequate. Friendly and prompt service. Clean restaurant. Good food. I like their Tiki Masala at this location. The lunch buffet is quality for the price.
Delicious buffet! A typical Sunday staple for me and my wife. Great selection of foods, with a few items that you don't see at other buffets in the city. Friendly staff as well.
Tasty. Not a big buffet, but satisfying. The one thing I don't like is whatever they use to clean the tables with smells horrid. It's especially bad when you are taking a bite and taste the cleaner.
My first Indian food experience. Delicious. The chicken tikki masala (ordered “hot”) is fantastic.
Great experience!! Delicious paneer bhurji definitely recommend. Served by Bandana, really good service.
Authentic and delicious with very good service. The portions are huge! We really liked the way the food was served so you could share nore easily.
The best tandoori chicken I've had here.
Fantastic. Flavorful. An experience everyone needs to have. Clay Oven has a wonderful touch on the flavors and execution of their food where you feel almost transformed into the Middle East. The atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable.
Awesome food as usual! I’ve this place! Best Indian food in East Lou.
Good food but expensive compared to other Indian restaurants nearby.
My favorite Indian restuarant. Service is always top of the line and food is fantastic! Restuarant is always clean and well maintained ! Highly recommended !
Tried this place for the first time last night and I wish we hadn't waited so long. We ordered three different entrees to go, and all of them were amazing. We'll definitely be back soon!
Very good Indian food. Tastes a little different than your usual middle Indian places, probably due to the Nepali influence but I always enjoy!
It would be not wrong if I say one of the best Indian restaurant in the area. Lamb chops are the best . Great food and great service . And always clean . Definitely coming back .
If you like Indian food, this is a good restaurant. A little pricy in some regards. My wife and I keep comming back for more.
We ordered NANN for B'day party from this restaurant. the nans were soft. Definitely recommend !! thanks !
We like the waiter service and we appreciate everything here we came a lot here today is my best day thank you so much
I love this restaurant! The lunch buffet has a great selection. The food is always delicious and the staff are nice.
Not that great, don't normally complain. Naan was "floppy", masala sauce was bland, and crunched into a couple of small bones in the veal. Didn't accept my coupon from cash book.
If you have never tried it, get the Lamb Rogan Josh with a Garlic Naan. I've had most of the Curry they offer at this point and while all then are fantastic, that combo has had me coming back for three years.
The best in town, we went for Dinner and they were serving the best Buffet. Went their for the first time and enjoyed the delicious food.
Excellent food and service. I will definitely be back and will bring my friends! Only recommendation is a biryani option during the lunch buffet.
A decent reliable option, often has good coupons, haven'nt tried the buffet but have enjoyed dinners there. The malia kofta was partcularly good.
Probably the best Indian restaurant I have eaten in Louisville. If you haven't try their weekend buffet then you should try. They have lots of variety.
