The pizza is CRAZY good! We had a pepperoni and it was the best pizza I've had in a really long time and we didn't wait very long for it either. The atmosphere is cool, our server was very nice and you can see the Chef right there making your food. Definitely recommend this place if your in the mood for an absolutely delicious pizza!

This place has been open 6 years and we have been missing out on awesome pizza! First time here today and the supreme was perfect-the right amount of toppings, cooked to perfection with a tasty crust. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back and try the Hot Brown pizza next time. Wish they would open a location in JTown :)

ETA: Ok, so I have to edit my rating now. I ordered from them again today, and got some of their non-pizza items this time. My biggest gripe: I was not a fan of paying $12 for alfredo with hardly any pasta to savor. Most of the room in the box was from the breadstick that was included (I could have gotten their 12" cheese pizza for the same price). Unfortunately, the sauce was a bit thinner than I cared for and not much flavor, at that. The wings were okay, the sandwich was good, but a bit small. I spent 30 bucks and was still hungry because I split the pasta with my husband thinking it would be a decent portion. I would highly recommend only sticking with ordering their pizzas: they're delicious and at least decently-priced.

It is a honor of mine to support Chef's Cut Pizzeria, the employees and owner John Railey. My initial experience of tasting Mr. Railey's delicious food 😋 was not at his Restaurant but at a Community Event we both Volunteered for. He was a Chef creating his magical food on a Smoker and I assisted with preparation and serving the Community "Free" food. The food was seasoned well, delicious, tender and a joy in your mouth. I happened to notice that Mr. Railey was being interviewed by the News and jokingly asked if he was famous. He humbly said that he was not famous and explained how Community Service is a part of his job. His actions truly speak much louder than words. Good news: Staff is very friendly and the pizza was very good. Heavy on the oregano/italian seasoning but I like it that way. The bad news: The breadsticks were stale, dry and tastless. One of the worst I have had at a pizza place. Just an odd contradiction of delicious pizza but terrible breadsticks.

I've been coming here for their lunch all you can eat for a couple months intermittently and I love it! The pizza is classicly Delicious. Employees are friendly, the owner is usually there and nice. It feels like a home that's being shared. ALSO they've got a shelf of children's books for free - which I love.

Great place to go for a pizza, sandwich, salad, or a wide array of alcoholic beverages. The staff are great! It's a great little tucked away spot for a cozy meal, or to watch the game! I can say that though they are famous for their Hot Brown pizza, I think the turkey sub is my favorite by far!

Just had my 1st experience at Chefs Cut and what can I say but WOW! I had a 8" supreme and it was the best Pizza I have had in a long time. If you are looking for great food and great conversation you have to check this place out. Chef John is amazing.

I was pregnant a couple of years ago when I lived in the area. I was craving some pizza and I came across this little gem. When I tell you this is some of the best pizza I’ve ever had I really mean it! I moved out of state and I am craving it soooooo bad right now lol (not pregnant)😭😂😂😩 light sauce pepperoni is my go-to and they made it perfectly, with love 🫶🏾 My stepdad (Best pizza he’s ever had too) and I met the owner whose name escapes me but he was really nice. Definitely going back once I visit Louisville!!!!

Excellent pizza... Ordered a small Hawaiian and some wings... While waiting had a great conversation with the Chef/Owner that was extremely welcoming to me as a new patron. Atmosphere and setting was reminiscent of an old diner that's upgraded for "my friends and I" to chill and eat. Am going back to try more of his food. Great first/ initial meal.👍

Chefs cut is a slice above the rest! Wednesdays they have remarkable. 50 cent wings. I highly recommend the jerk rub or the bbq. They also run a daily 2 slice and a drink for 3 dollars or a buffet! Don't miss out on this great place to eat.

Besides the fact that the pizza was so yummy and the house salad went above and beyond expectations, we had an interesting experience! My husband went in to pick up the pizza and it wasn’t perfect, according to the owner, not us, so he remade it and gave us both. While my husband waited, he tried to buy a beer, the owner wouldn’t let him, and then he tried to tip him and he wouldn’t take it. Don’t worry, my husband won. My husband said he’s never had such a great interaction! Thank you for the amazing pizza and the amazing experience and hospitality!

Wish I had taken photos but I will next time because there WILL be a next time. First of all I would come here just for the service alone. The lady who took our order was really nice and made us feel at home. Chef John really has a way of making you feel like family and just took my experience to another level. But on top of the excellent service I received from both of them, is a Delicious, Freshly-Baked Pizza that just feels like it was made with love. Wife and I were first timers. I made a mistake ordering since I hadn't been here before and Chef John let me know all was good and he would fire me up a new pizza. Wife did meat lovers and a meatball sub and I did the cheese pizza. EVERYTHING was perfect and very delicious. Plan to return with my parents for them to try it out. We talked for a little bit after I ate and it was just so wholesome. Felt like I was at home. Can't believe I lived so close to this place for the past year and hadn't tried it soon. All my pizza purchases will be from here from now on. Thanks again Chef John for everything.

Great timely service. With awesome hours I work night shift at Kroger distribution and I was able to get a pizza to go on my 30 minute lunch break at 9pm. The quality of this pizza is outstanding as well. I got 2 large cheese pizzas yesterday for 12 bucks and some change each. This is how pizza should be done period. Thank you for everything !

We have visited Chef's Cut on many occasions, Weekdays and Weekends. Their staff is always very welcoming when we walk in the door. Service has always been amazing. So much that we do not hesitate to drive 20 minutes one way to visit frequently. We have tried several menu items.....all out favorite of ours supreme pizza, the hot brown, the BBQ chicken, the Buffalo Chicken, and the Bacon Cheeseburger pizza. The delicious T-Mac dog, the flavorful Jerk Wings, Habanero wings, hot wings and the mouth watering Pizza Rolls. None of these menu items have disappointed us,they all have amazing flavor and uniqueness that we keep coming back for more. If you haven't tried Chef's Cut yet you are missing out. So glad we stopped in one late evening a little over a month ago. It is our new favorite place to go. GO GET YOU SOME!!!!!!!

BEST. PIZZA. EVER!!! If I could give this guy 20 stars, I would, and he deserves it! Not only is the pizza amazing.... and better than ANY Louisville pizza (and I've lived here my entire life and eaten them all!), but his smile, ya'll! My son and I walked in to pickup our order. He greeted us with the biggest, warmest, most kind smile I have EVER experienced in a public setting. He knew who we were, even tho we had never been there. Pizza was hot and ready! Asked us how our day was.... and it was actually my son's bday, so it was good! I paid, then he slaps a $20 bill on the counter and says Happy Birthday from the Chef, and gives my son the gift! Simply awesome! Made our day! My son was over the moon happy and my faith in humanity restored! Thank you Chef! We will see you next pizza night, my friend!

Great food and great people. This is gem of a find in the city. The pizza is hand tossed and hand made. Great ingredients. The wings are awesome. My husband kept trying to get me to come here. We don’t live very close to here. However we were already over this way with some friends so we gave it a try and were pleasantly surprised. The Pies were huge and filled with toppings and He even made a pizza with pineapples in it and my husband who is very picky ate it and loved it. A small, whole in the wall pizzeria with great food and friendly service. My husband and I were surprised at how small it was inside, but it felt cozy and well decorated. They have wine, beer and hard liquor available, which was also shocking. The have a variety of topping available on your pizza, as well as great other options to eat like wings, salads and sandwiches. We have always enjoyed our conversations with Chef and his staff. I also highly recommend the pepperoni rolls.

Visiting from Wisconsin we tried Chef’s Cut Pizzeria based off the reviews we saw online. We had it delivered to the hotel we were staying at and we were not disappointed! The Hot Brown pizza was amazing! Fantastic crust, great overall taste and both the person on the phone and the delivery driver were friendly. Only complaint I have is that I have no way to get it delivered to Wisconsin! I would recommend to anyone looking for a great pizza.

This is a place I have driven by many times but never stopped. I stopped in tonight and Chef made me feel very welcomed and treated me as If I was a customer who had been coming for years. The 2 16 inch meat lovers pizza and cheese bread , made me lose my mind. Not only was it wonderful and fresh, it tasted amazing. My kids who are picky eats didn't complain, they wanted more. This will become more of a family spot for pizza than the other normal chain stores.

I live nearby and have passed this place many times. I stopped in this evening and was in for a surprise. Great food, laid back and comfortable atmosphere, and outstanding service. Chef John and Anthony went above and beyond any expectations I had before entering. Some of the best local pizza in Louisville! Finally decided to pick up a pizza and breadsticks the other day and the pizza was amazing. It had a really good flavor and a crisp crust for it to be a hand tossed pizza. The breadsticks were pretty thin and didn’t have much flavor, but the pizza definitely made up for it. We will definitely get it again.

Had dinner at the Chef's Cut Pizzaria this week. Great place, great atmosphere, great food and friendly people. We don't have enough local owned businesses like this in my opinion. We had a mushroom pizza, some cheese sticks, and I had a hot brown pizza. We will be returning, it was great. If you know me well, you know I worked in the pizza business for many years, and I don't throw pizza compliments around lightly, lol. It wasn't just about the food. I watched more than one customer come in that was greeted by name by the staff, and although it was the first time for me, a very nice conversation was struck up with t h me as well. If you are out looking for a good slice and atmosphere, give it a try.

Walked in, they greeted me immediately. I told them it was my first time. Lady behind the counter offered to share about the restaurant and educate me on their menu. Food was excellent. I never post reviews.. usually reviews you see are about how bad something is. I just door dashed pizza from Chefs Cut and this is how it arrived; Disheveled and and half the pizza slid off the side.(can’t post the picture). I called over there and immediately the owner picked up the phone and apologizes because he personally made the pizza and said it was all good coming out (obviously it was the DoorDash guy carrying it sidewise). He the gave the phone over to his manager and she’s personally coming out to deliver a new one. I know I won’t be ordering pizza from anywhere else. I manage a retail store and this is how I like to treat anyone that comes in my building and having the service reciprocated when they very well could have said “sorry call door dash”, they didn’t. When the owner says, “I’m going to have my manager bring one out because I want you to taste one of my pies.” Excellent. Thank you. Will definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

Working at a spectrum call center right around the corner this place was so yummy and convenient, I bought a groupon which was an amazing deal and my team lead went and picked it up she said the owner was so nice, and I can say all the coworkers around us was like what’s that smell. Everything from the pizza to the pasta and wings are delicious. This is coming from a certified chef that grew tired of cooking. Everytime I'm working in the area I make a point to stop bye. Even suggested this to friends when they want delivery. I haven't tried the whole menu but by end of summer promise I will. Next time I stop bye I'm going to order the T-Mac it has rave reviews.

I lucked into finding this restaurant while working in the area and it is bar none the BEST find yet,no lie! Chef's Cut uses fresh ingredients and although most claim the same,the finished product speaks for itself. When the supreme pizza came out of the oven it looks amazing! The quality really hits you when you take the first bite..unlike other pizzerias you can taste the vegetables and meats in every bite the flavors don't all run together. We tried the pasta dishes as well and to say the least,their food is astronomical! I recommend everyone tries the "gourmet style" food that Chef's Cut Pizza has to offer. It seems like a family friendly environment too so take the whole family!!

Whenever you order takeout or delivery for pizza with toppings, they are not generous at all. You might as well order a cheese pizza and go to the grocery for your toppings. The pizza is amazing, but I even addressed this issue when I ordered my pizza with the manager and got about 15 pepperonis on a large pizza and had to have another delivered. The pizza is amazing, but they short on toppings for sure

They cook your food fresh to order so if your in a rush, this isn't the place to go. I picked up my order and I wanted a drink, the lady behind the counter grabbed a cup but instead of giving it to me to get my own drink, she walked all the way from around the counter and filled my cup up for me.
