1st time there The tacos are the bomb they do come with hot sauce, I didn't get it with hot sauce and a very good diet coke. The owner & staff was friendly and pleasant. The places was clean inside and out. Prices are about average, the only thing would be nicer if they had a restroom and if they took debit but I'm sure because of The service charge they don't take debit because then they would have to pass along that price to the customers. I will be back

Great local spot with super friendly staff and reasonably priced food. There is a small parking lot next to the restaurant as well as street parking which is a plus. Also both indoor and outdoor seating. It’s a no frills stand - very clean and good service. We went for the Oki-dog without really knowing what it was. I was unprepared for the double hotdog, chili, cheese and pastrami combo all wrapped up in a flour tortilla … but somehow it all worked. Having this hotdog feels like a rite of passage in LA, and we came out the other side very full and very willing to come again.

I've enjoyed this LA delicacy for more than 30 years. They moved to this location a few years ago, but it has the same menu and owner. Personally, I always buy the original Oki Dog. But friends say the pastrami burrito is fantastic. Don't expect any "atmosphere" here, as it's a walk up and order to go kind of place. There are a couple of tables, so you could dine in, if you wanted, but I've never seen anyone sitting down to dine there. Oki's Dog is one of LA's iconic neighborhood eateries.

Been coming to this restaurant since when it was on pico and Sycamore. BEEN living in the area since 99' and this is a mid city treasure. The cooks and cashiers know my order and you can call ahead too. Love the chili fries the teriyaki beef plate and the chili burger. Will always come here and bring friends too.

And 8 bucks for a triple chill cheese burger and frys can't beat that. If I don't alter this review know it was good. I love me some Oki dog the teriyaki chicken plate is my favorite. I highly recommend this place, the meat is fresh, the sauce is saucy,mac salad will leave you wanting more, and the salad is healthy?😈it's so tasty you will end up eating the whole plate despite it being quite huge. The employees are always nice. Although they changed their location the food still taste the same.

I dream about the food here 🤣. Seriously, the food is 10/10 plenty of vegand and gluten free options (all are delicious). The only negative is that they don't ask agressive dogs/owners to leave. Last time I was there and there was an golden barking and growling consistently and they were allowed to stay and finish their meal making it a bit nerve wracking for the others on the patio.

Have moved out of state and was excited to go again while I was in town to bury a close family member. Was initially disappointed to find an apartment in the landmark location. My husband had the forethought to Google the name for directions. Grateful that he did because once again I was able to see familiar faces and appreciate a pastrami that can only be found at Oki Dog. Everything was just delicious..

Great fast food. The Oki's dog w cheese is an amazing twist on a chili cheese hot dog with pastrami added for extra savory goodness. The fries are some of the best I've ever had -- crispy with seasoning salt. I will come back whenever I'm in the neighborhood. A local legend.

I used to go to the one on Melrose in the 80s but this is the only one left (with the original owners) The food is still pretty amazing. The oki Dog is a an original take on a chilli hotdog burrito with lovely pastrami and cheese. Fantastic tasting. I try and make these at home because I live 1000 miles away, but they don't turn out the same. It's better when the owner is there (masao) because the wench that he has working the counter is horrible. Watch out.

Over the years I've been pleasantly surprised by the items I've had here. I remember the tuna sandwich, teriyaki chicken, turkey tacos, and fries all being really tasty. I happened to be hungry and in the area a couple if weeks ago. I hadn't been to Oki Dog in well over 2 years but hoped they hadn't changed. I wasn't disappointed at all! The turkey tacos were just as great as I remembered...and they are huge!

First visit in a really long time. The cashier was short and not friendly at all. They didn't stock many of the menu items listed. The 5- stars we gave it was,the food was on point. The Teriyaki beef/chicken plate was 🔥🔥🔥. The Triple Cheeseburger 🔥🔥🔥,Chili Cheese dawg was a hit,even with mustard(I hate mustard). My next visit I will take pics. Cute corner spot. Outside seating. This is the best place to go when your in LA and looking for a hole in the wall. There chicken teriyaki plate is bomb. Their macaroni salad is something out of this world. Although their prices are a little high especially if you want extra chicken on a plate the food is quality.

I heard about Oki’s Dog while walking around LA. It sounds like something locals in the Fairfax area seem to know about, and though it’s quite low key, it does seem to have a faithful fan base. While driving through the area, I decided it was time I made my way to Oki’s Dog to see what all the hype was about. Note that they are CASH ONLY! So make sure you have a bit of earth monies ready to spend. They have a small dining area inside and outside, as well as a small parking lot. Looking at photos, I knew that I wanted the Oki Dog, which is two hot dogs, cheese with chili and pastrami all wrapped into a nice burrito. It reminded me of my favorite item from Pink’s! It was really tasty, good mixture of meats and chilli, and not as oily as Pink’s, which I appreciated. Loved the meal, and will start bringing people here when they’re craving a burrito dog!

Really great food, inexpensive, and fast. The only caveat is they do not take credit cards it is cash only. There is an ATM outside of the restaurant in case you need to grab cash. The ATM charges a $2.99 fee

This place is CASH ONLY. Their service is a little slow, they take a while to answer the phones, and sometimes they don't even answer. The fries are thick and they have a little sweetness to them. The chili cheese is good. The burger was ok. Menu prices on their website are outdated.

Man ! The food at this place is bomb, especially their Oki dog burrito which is a combination of chili, hot dogs and pastrami which is everything in this tortilla wrapped burrito. I always ask for the pastrami well done because I love how crispy it comes out , almost like bacon but with more flavor . Their burgers and fries are delicious too. And the staff is friendly .

This place is AWESOME! Everytime my husband and I are in the LA area we stop, even if we have to go WAY out of our way to get here. The food, no matter what one orders, is always hot, fresh and delicious! This location is new to us. At first my husband thought they had closed and was very disappointed. As I was leaving Lowes, I couldn't believe Oki's Dog was right in front of me!!!! Bought dinner right then and there! Yummy!

I like the french fries 🍟 they use seasoned salt which makes them worth ordering. It’s definitely not a 5 star restaurant. It’s a hotdog after all. I am not one to just pass out 5 stars unless it’s phenomenal. I mean it’s a hot dog. There’s just no way I’m giving a hot dog 5 stars. They have a variety of food to order. Great for your kids after school. Nice outdoor space to eat and hang out. This is a blue caller establishment for sure. They appear have pride in their food.

So happy they reopened after moving from their original Pico location. Don't confuse this spot with the one on Fairfax and Melrose. This place is so much better. the chefs have been around for many years and the staff is so great that it's always wonderful to walk in and see if some of your face. The Okie dog is literally a bomb from your belly. The pastrami burrito is another amazing thing you have to try. and when I was younger my metabolism can handle it I would have chili cheese fries with pastrami on top. Also there's a hidden menu that only vocals really know about.

Love this place. Really good prices for a lot of food. Plus the staff are all really nice and accommodating. The place is clean and you have a choice to eat inside or out. They take cash only but they have an a.t.m. right outside. The parking lot is small but it's easy to get in and out of.

Oki's is the best. You can't go wrong here. My favorite is the Steak Teriyaki Burrito or the Chilli Burgers. Been going there since i was 16. NOW in my 40's. I don't live in LA anymore but when i come for a visit, this is a mandatory stop. Wish they had more parking space but I'd leave the car running to get this food. Thanks Oki for the years of good food.

Having an Oki Dog is like no experience you've had related to hot dogs that's all I'll say I believe this is one of the top 10 places to take friends and tourists to eat some food in Los Angeles a full meal for under ten bucks and they're friendly too. They've been around forever I'm glad they have a new location here. You won't be disappointed I like to buy five Oki dogs and take them back to my friends at work and spread the Oki Dog love

Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. The teriyaki steak sandwich was excellent. Nice fresh veggies with a good amount of fresh grilled steak in a very good teriyaki sauce. My double chili cheeseburger wasn't as delicious but it was pretty big for what I paid for it. All in all I would definitely be interested in going again.

This place is actually pretty good. 5/13/17- i just ordered the pastrami burrito.. wierd huh. But it was good. The pastrami was really good quality, great taste, all the fixings inside the tortilla. Two hour ride to get home, I haven't eaten anything since breakfast, I needed to shove something down my gullet. Saw the Oki spot and it was a no brainer. I had to stop and see what everyone was coming here for. I had a chili cheese dog that was pretty good. i think I like the fact that it wads a decent messy dog that filled me up. Next time I need to try the chili cheese fries. The chili does not have a signature flavor but it definitely hits the spot.

All wrapped into a mammoth burrito. Absolutely delicious. Besides the Oki Dog, many many choices. Teriyaki Chicken/Beef plates is recommended. Steak French Fries (Crunchy). Pastrami Burrito, Burgers, Shakes, etc etc. If you are a foodie, Oki Dog is a must.

Oki Dog hits the spot when you want chilli and cheese. A new location for the one that used to be on Pico and Cloverdale. Fun fact the one on Pico and Cloverdale was in the movie White Man Cant Jump. The original Oki Dog is near Fairfax and Melrose. However, this place is just as good. Been coming here since a teenager.
