I ordered the Spicy Maxwell Street sausage dog and was fabulous! It arrived on a pillow soft poppy seed bun and topped with onions and peppers. The fries were served in a small paper bag and they were perfect. They're shoestring style and were perfectly crispy. Looking forward to trying their other offerings. Highly recommend!

Authentic Chicago style hot dogs at its best!! This is a great place for the best hot dogs in the Valley and well worth a drive from the Strip for visitors. I highly recommend this place for locals and visitors. You won't go hungry here! Check out the website and menu, lots of different options

I can't believe all this time I didn't know about this place ! I lived in Chicago back in 1995 and 1996 and I miss a good Italian Beef with the Hot Giardiniera . I use to go to a place a long time ago near the old drive in , but it is long gone . Other places I have tried over the years just couldn't get it right . Well , Windy City has got it goin' on ! I am so happy and will definitely be coming back and bringing the family . You can get it Dry with the Au Jus on the side , Wet , or Dipped . I got it Dry with the Au Jus on the side and used about half of it and that was plenty . It was good and juicy and I went through 3 napkins , so perfect . Ha ha . The Hot Giardiniera was on point and made my left nostril start to run a little , so perfect again . So happy to find this place . The service was great and friendly and the place was busy with lots of to go orders and almost full tables . The French Fries was plenty and good . The decor is typical of a real Chicago diner with lots and lots of memorabilia on the walls covering everything . Cubs , White Sox , Blackhawks , etc . I would highly recommend coming here . My son is ready to come here , he said he has been craving the Chicago Style Hot Dogs . See ya soon .

I've been coming to Windy City for years and it is always consistently delicious. For those who have been you know that you get a free hot dog with purchase if your first name is on their whiteboard. Well, after all these years, my name was there so I got a free Chicago Dog to go with my double-dipped Italian beef. The dogs and beef are always amazing. I didn't get fries the last 2 times but they are always delicious as well. I love that they are served in a small brown paper bag; it reminds me of restaurants in Chicago. My only request for them is to bring back the beer cheese....please?

I ordered a number 1 and 10 to go over the phone. The young lady who took my order was wonderful both over the phone and in person. I didn't catch her name but wonderful service. I got my order fairly quickly within 15 min. The sandwich is delicious I'd definitely get it again. I got medium spicy peppers but I think I could do hot no problem. The hotdog also delicious however a little small, probably wouldn't get it again but definitely worth a try. I would definitely recommend a visit here.

Came here for their #4 combo, Chicago hot dog and 3" Italian beef sandwich with fries $9.50. The Italian beef I chose wet (3 choices-- dry, wet and dipped), it was the right amount of moisture, but just ok for me overall. Chicago dog was done exactly-- poppy seed bun and Vienna all beef dog plus the seven ingredients: yellow mustard, chopped onions, bright green sweet pickle relish, dill pickle spear, tomato slices, sport pepper, dash of celery salt. It was great. And the fries were equally good, crunchy, seasoned perfectly.

I try to stop in whenever I'm on that side of town. Service is always friendly, and the food is great. Really hits the spot when I feel homesick for Chicagoland. The Italian beefs are awesome, but the sleeper hit are the fries! Thin, crispy, delicious! Make sure you get a side of cheese sauce for them too! Almost spot on to Portillo's.

You get that neighborhood hot dog place kinda vibe here. The workers definitely know their regulars. The hot dogs were awesome and you get a pretty good portion of fries. Will definitely go again.

First time there and I loved it, but my only hope was that in true Chicago beef fashion that the beef was shaved and not sliced a little too thick. Sounds petty but I have always eaten finely shaved beef....Portillos, Buona, Johnny's Beef, Mr. Beef. That's what makes the difference between a really good sandwich and a GREAT sandwich! The flavor on the giardanera peppers and the gravy were great.

Basically, if you like beef and Chicago dogs and you're in Vegas this is the place to go. Heck, the atmosphere makes you feel like you're back in chitown eating at your favorite beef shop. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Great people work here. I've had several different menu items and have enjoyed them all. I do admit the beef is my favorite though. Still, good burgers and dogs too. It's so nice getting good Chicago beef sandwiches out here! It can get busy, and for good reason, so be patient. They'll take care of you here. Prices are user friendly.

I travel a lot, I love Chicago style beef and dogs. I would rank Windy City in N. Las Vegas among the best you can get outside of Chicago. The place would remind you of something off Clark st. In Wriglyville.. Great Italian Beef, Great Chicago dog and the portions and prices are great… happy to recommend to anyone looking for that rare “diamond in the rough”

I've never had an authentic Chicago Style Hot Dog (in Chicago), but I can't imagine they're better than Windy City Chicago Hot Dogs, we're definitely a fan. Also great french fries and pizza. We're from Detroit so miss Coney Island Hot dogs, but we've been converted to Windy City dogs!

I wasn't expecting much, having eaten beefers in ChiTown, but I was pleasantly surprised. Very juicy and flavorful beef. I had one with the Italian sausage on it and that was also very nicely spiced. The bun was a little soft....needs to be more substantial to hold up to the beef au jus. Overall very good....I'll be back.

My family’s from Chicago so I had high hopes for this place, unfortunately I was disappointed. It’s simply overpriced for what’s offered. I was charged $15 for 2 dogs, fries, and a drink. If you want a drink it’s extra..a small side of ranch it’s $1.00. If you want a more “premium” Vienna beef hotdog on your Chicago dog it’s extra lol. I said I was eating for here and the lady still brought it to be in a paper bag. Well, I’m going to go back in and give the place another shot at a later date.

First time experience there, brought a friend from Chicago as my authentication critic, he gave the itailian beef a thumbs up and bought a 2nd one to take home. As a update and second time there it was very busy, about 15 people in line but we where committed, it really went pretty quick, the itailian beef was very good, added the medium heat giardinara this time, it was really good, fries were hot, fresh and crisp, service was very good, like a well oiled machine for a Saturday lunch rush. It was kind of fun to see the crew in action there. We definitely be back more.

I asked for my #10 beef to be drowned and they delivered! I drank at least a half cup of of the paper after my sandwich was gone. My only regret is I didn't get onions or peppers because I had a dentist appointment after. This place makes me so happy.

I can honestly say that it's the best Italian Beef in town. Au jus is perfect...not salty like the "other Chicago" beef place. Huge serving for a reasonable price. The Maxwell Polish is just like how I remember getting it after a long night downtown and heading to Jew-town at 5a.m. You have to give this place a try and see why Chicagoans always praise their hometown food to be the best!

Let's talk Italian Beef's for a minute. If you're actually in Chicago, you gotta go to the heavy hitters like Al's or Mr. Beef. It would be like going to Paris and not seeing that big oil rig thing. Luckily places like Portillos have expanded and taken the beef on the road. Well guess what? This place SMASHES Portillos. I got the mild peppers, but could've gone hotter. Be brave, get it dipped. They have silverware and napkins, don't worry. I got a dog and fries, but couldn't get to them cause the beef filled me up (that's what she said). I will definitely be going back next time I'm in town. Thanks for the Military discount guys! Really friendly staff.

I've eaten here before and it was not Chicago where I am from but it was good..... today I just can't. The meat was almost white and flavor was not good. I spoke to the cashier and she says the other meat was too expensive but they will be going back. Well you need to tell people cause I was utterly disappointed.

Being from Chicago, this place reminds me of home. They have pizza puffs which are the same as at home. Yummy. The hotdogs are awesome as well. But my favorite sandwich here would be a cheesy wet beef sandwich with mozzarella and sweet peppers mmmmm. Takes just like its from Chicago. This is by far one of my favorite Chicago spots in Las Vegas. Even the fries are good too. The staff is always very friendly as well. Great service and exceptionally good food as well. Its not exactly what you would get in Chicago, but its by far the closest to it here in Las Vegas. They have Excellent beef, hotdogs, fries, pizza pockets and their hamburger and gyros arent too bad either. That aside every employee i have ever interacted with here was beyond personable and friendly. Me and my family eat here at the very least twice a month, sometimes more. The quality of the food speaks for itself, you will never leave feeling horrible no matter how much you stuff inside you. To me thats the marking of true quality ingredients.

Consistently excellent dogs, particularly the Chicago dog. They have other sandwich he's as well, but this is the place for a hot dog. Always busy at lunch, but they have a few tables outside to enjoy in the cooler evenings.

This restaurant used to have authentic Italian Beef, but now it's 90% authentic. It's lacking something and I'm not sure what that is. It seems to be all different workers now, although I haven't been there in a few years. It seems now that Las Vegas has one less authentic Italian Beef restaurant. I will have to try Amoure's to see if they have authentic Italian Beef. If they don't, then Las Vegas will have zero authentic Chicago food. It be a shame.

I made the 40 minute drive to try a real Chicago dog. I was very impressed with how clean the place is. The employees are extremely friendly. I ordered number 1. Chicago style dog with everything and French fries. The fries were in a paper bag and were steaming hot. The dog was super tasty. I can't wait to try the sandwich next time I come on.

I'm a born and raised native of Chicago and lived on every side including the burbs. In da Chi the food is all the same. The food from home is very distinctive and can not be duplicated. Real Chitown natives know this. Please beware of any place claiming to have Chicago Style foods. I gave WCB 4 stars because they are missing the one major condiment that makes all the difference and adds value to their menu......the Chicago style MILD SAUCE. My husband and I have requested them to purchase some for the fries which is like umm ummm good. Like frfr really good. One day my husband went to get lunch and he called me saying they had mild sauce and brought some home with him in a little cup. 🤨I was so disappointed😞 As I mentioned earlier restaurant style foods from Chicago can not be duplicated. These guys apparently tried to make their own or provided some random store bought mild sauce. It tasted like ketchup and hot sauce mixed together. GROSS! It's just my opinion WCB: please order the Chicago style mild sauce. You'd be surprised at how many orders of just fries with mild sauce you'll get. Try that with the chili and cheese sauce or just plain cheese sauce. IT'S THE BOMBDITY!!!! Your taste buds will thank you.

I pass this place all the time and finally I decided I'm gonna try it. I was in earlier today and man was it good! I got a #1 which is the Chicago dog with fries and a drink. There's lots of seats to choose from, the decor is very Chicago lol and my food was hot and ready in no time at all! Plus lots of stuff on the menu that I'm gonna try in the future!!

I was born raised in the Chicago area, and my work as a 24/7 caregiver I only get paid for 16 hours every week, so I expect whenever I splurge on eating out for it to be good. Well, the food here surpassed my expectations. I felt like I was back home.The food was so good my friend from Washington has to take a trip to Chicago to try more food. They use real Vienna Beef products, and even sell some of the condiments. The prices are a little high but I understand it's part of the price for getting the products shipped here, but way cheaper than having shipped yourself through a restaurant that ships. Most definitely will be coming back as often as possible.

Ex-Chicagoans, you'll love this place. Inside is like stepping through a portal, from the typical Vegas strip mall into your favorite childhood Chicago eatery. The food is great, although not the *absolute* best. Their Chicago Dogs are perfect, however, and take you immediately back to being downtown. Being the only place to get a good Italian Beef for 400 miles, and the attention to detail of the inside, I can't help but give 5 stars.

This place was amazing!! The hot dogs were delicious! But what I loved most about the place was the people and customer service!!! My friend and I actually walked in right when they closed. So we thought we would have to find another place to eat. But they made our hot dogs anyway! Every single person was genuinely friendly and we felt so welcome. We usually go to a hot dog spot closer to our house but decided to try this place out today. I must say we’ve been missing out. The chicken wings were on point. The hotdogs were bomb and the fries had just the right amount of salt on them. Not to mention we got the food quick!! Sad to say we will not be going to our usual spot but this spot is now gain some regulars. Keep up the good work!

My poor boyfriend had to endure a 40 minute drive here with traffic to satisfy my craving for a good hot dog. We skipped the strip (even though we live on it) and came to have some incredible hot dogs. He said it was worth it O:). I more than agree. The chili was also great and the service was really outstanding. Everyone was so nice and accommodating and the restaurant is very well kept and clean. Come through! You wont regret it.

Excellent hotdogs, great customer service! I've been in Vegas for a little while and I've had some bad "Chicago dogs", I was suspicious due to past experiences, but this place is top of the line. Only thing I can say is I wish they had malt vinegar for the fries, everything else was perfect, I think I'll bring my own bottle.

Excellent place to eat anytime. Hot dogs and polish are fantastic. The staff is amazing and very friendly. I'd recommend starting with the classics first then working your way through variations. Great place for lunch has a lunch bar and limited seating.

Been eating here since 2011, the italian beef dipped wet with hot peppers is my favorite. I also like Maxwell street polish, not a good polish if you don't get the grilled onions. Polish was my childhood favorite from Maxwell street with gd fast service

Outstanding! I had the #5 windy city's Maxwell street Polish and fries. A Vienna Polish sausage available in mild or spicy, steamed then grilled served on a steamed Vienna poppyseed bun with mustard, grilled onions and sport peppers. The skin was crispy as it should be and the onions were prepared just right. Although we are practicing social distancing, the staff where very pleasant and accommodating. I can not wait until we go back to sit down dinning. I will definitely be back and I have already recommended Windy city to my close friends and family. Great job you guys.

Everything here is excellent and high quality food! They staff are amazing and will make you feel welcome. They are on a first name basis with my husband because we go there so much. I promise the food and service here will never disappoint you! Also it's cool how every day they have 2 names (a girl and boy name) on a white board that if it's your name, you get a free hot dog!

As of this post, I have visited the Windy City Beefs-N-Dogs near Silverado Ranch and the current one that I am visiting on Lake Mead. This one appears to be busier than the one at Silverado Ranch. It feels a little more impersonal, but when my order was ready the cashier immediately knew who I was and served me my food. On this visit, I ordered the Foot Long Vienna Chili Cheese Dog and fries.I may be mistaken, but it appeared that my foot long was actually made of 2 separate 6 inches. Still, it did not deter from the taste. The Lake Mead location actually has restaurant size napkins along with paper towel rolls.Despite the fact that lines were long, tables were filled and the place was obviously busy, everything was clean... And I mean all the time. The only thing keeping this place from getting a 5-star review from me was the lack of personal connection with the customers. If someone had stopped to ask how my day was or made a comment about something that I was wearing to make me feel like more than "just a customer", this place would have been given rave reviews. However, my opinion does nothing to deter from the quality and productivity that this business has displayed. I will be returning

Great food, bad judgement on the staffs end. I am a veteran that suffers from an ailment that doesn't allow me to wear a mask. I offered to show the employee my doctors note I keep handy on my phone and still was turned away. So if you are a person that suffers from any kind of illness, there is a good chance you will be discriminated against.

I am originally from the Southside if Chicago. Marquette Park to be exact. I come through Vegas for work every few months and this is a MUST stop every time. The food is authentic and delicious. I have eaten everything on the menu and could not complain about any of it. The gyros is even good considering the meat is not shaved off the cone. I highly recommend!!!

Reminded me of Uncle Frank's on Halsted before Wrightwood Ave. Buns were fresh, condiments applied correctly and vienna hot dog not over cooked. Great hot dog just not enough Cub memorabilia on the wall !! Brought back great Chicago boyhood memories .

Very nice service. After finding out it was my birthday I was offered a free hotdog. Thinking fastfood instead of quality. I thought it would be just a plain old dog. They politely took back a corndog and prepared another one. When I found out that the free dog I apologized. They also offered to make me another plain old dog if I wanted. Great customer service. Very nice Chicago dog too. Will be glad to eat there again

My wife doesn't like hot dogs, but she loves this place and so do I. Friendly staff and an atmosphere that really makes you forget you're in LV. Not to mention possibly the best hot dog I've had. The polish sausage, Chicago style dog, and fries were all delicious, and the prices are hard to beat.

Moved to Vegas 1 1/2 years ago and being a Chicago Native, I truly missed the food back home. I met a friend of mine here and was shocked by the menu so I had to order an Italian Beef dipped with hot peppers. Took it home to share with my husband and when I tell you how our faces lit up with sheer delight! It was as good if not better than any Italian Beef from back home. I couldn't believe the menu. It even had pizza puffs AND theu sell Jay's potatoes chips and Okedoke Popcorn....only a true Chicagoan knows about these brands. The employees are THEY BEST! Every time we and dine in, they've always given my daughter free ice cream. Needless to say, we love this taste of Chicago in Vegas!

My buddy, who's from Chicago, took me here on a Sunday around noonish. Easy parking, in and out. I had their #1 combo- a loaded Chicago dog and fries, well done. Their dogs are boiled, not my favorite, and the fries are skinny fries. I'm partial to crinkle cuts, well done. So, while not quite the way I'd do a dog, it was quite decent. The dog was snappy Vienna Beef, the green stuff fresh, and the pickled stuff tasty. The very end of my bun was stale, or too dry. Maybe they steam them on request? I'll ask next time. Skinny fries were ok. Like I said, crinkle cut man here. Served in a brown bag, just like Hot Dog Heaven (now gone) on Lake Mead Henderson. I'll go again to try the beef. This dog just didn't overwhelm me.

Windy City lives up to the name, Italian Beef is their game. Came in hungry, left full and satisfied. Italian beef is never skimpy on meat. I ended up there every day until I left to go home. Owners and staff were so super friendly and really made you comfortable there and you wanted to come back. I loved their beef so much, even better than when I was growing up and her husband makes it himself, doesn't get it from Vienna Beef Co., but it is even better than Vienna's beef. Closest thing to true authentic Chicago food. They use vienna beef and even have the poppeyseed buns! Once you step in you will feel that Chicago type vibe, if your from Chicago. Italian beef isn't the best, but for Vegas standards, it's pretty damn good.

If you have ever had an Italian Beef sandwich, you will know how good it is here. Get it dipped with hot giardenera and mozzarella like it should be. The chili dogs are also on point. Again, add the giardenera and grilled onions for maximum tastiness. Love the chicken wing Tuesdays as well. 5P cent wings...can't go wrong with the Chicago Fire sauce. If you can't tell, I love this place. Never had a bad meny item (even pizza pockets and corn dogs are excellent).
