Reviews of THE Steak House
TDC
Steak was cooked perfectly, but was under seasoned. The pepper sauce wasn't for me. House salad was great. Tiramisu was great. Service was fantastic. It's a little overpriced by like $15-20 in comparison to comparable steakhouses on the strip. This place used to be great value.

Went here for Valentines 💝
It is definitely a special occasion type of place. The ambiance is relaxing, very old school and peacefull vibes. All of the service members were so kind and attentive.
But most importantly the meals are well worth it. The French opinion soup was worth the upgrade price, so delicious ! Fresh bread, came out so warm! And the meat cuts were high quality and cooked to perfection!

In my opinion, still the steakhouse every other one has to beat. Atmosphere is old school class and the service from the moment you walk in to when you leave is excellent. Price is not cheap but you do get a lot for your money and is all quality ingredients. My 7th visit over many years to The Steakhouse and is always a special experience.

I can’t believe it took us so long to check this place out. We’ve always been recommended this steakhouse by many friends but we finally got to go on our anniversary late December 2021.
First and foremost our server Teo was incredible & attentive. The environment was very classic and loved that it’s been around for over 30 years. A small menu yet everything we ordered was delicious. They have good prices for the bottles of wine, a yummy onion soup (clearly forgot to take a picture) & some real good bread + butter. The steaks are just as delicious, we can’t wait to be back!

Was searching for a good Vegas steakhouse and this is a hidden gem located inside the Circus Circus Casino. This has an old school vibe as it’s probably not been updated since the 80s when it opened. The staff was awesome and our server had been there for a few decades. The old fashion my dining partner and I had were top shelf. The French Onion soup was very good. The 79$ bone in ribeye steak was slightly better than good which was actually disappointing as I was expecting one of the best steaks ever. Maybe my expectations were not realistic but the overall experience was worthy of 4 stars.

Hidden gem. Circus Circus might not be the best of the best for Casinos in Vegas, but this restaurant is. Don't miss out on dining at this establishment. Classy, old school, ambiance. Amazing service and phenomenal food. Wish I'd taken a picture of the shrimp cocktail. Sweet mercy- split it between two people. The bean soup...oh my gosh. If you want the best service request Richard. Great experience.

I have tried many popular steak house but this place awesome! Steak super tender, very good tasty salmon. My hubby also have much enjoyment with fresh oysters . Great customer service as well. Price worth it! I’ll come back again when i were Vegas.

Of your looking for an old-style steakhouse atmosphere this is the place that is for you. Surprisingly the steak was delicious but the baked potato was really dry. Our server was super attentive and nice. The manager was great and friendly and the other servers were attentive. I would have scored higher but the potato and asparagus threw me off.

Definitely a hidden gem!! Vintage Vegas steakhouse with succulent steaks, amazing appetizers and salads, and phenomenal desserts!! The service is absolutely top notch! Felix is the BEST server! This is a MUST have when in Vegas! Take it from two Las Vegas natives.

We started out at the bar to have a couple of drinks before dinner. The servers were very friendly and provided great conversation. When we headed to the table for dinner we had the drink tab (very expensive!) added to our table bill. Ordering our meal went well but my wife's steak was so undercooked it was embarrassing. The waiter took it back for a quick 2 minute fix and 10 minutes later it returned properly cooked. I expect to have some variation in cook results but at this price I was a little surprised they did so poorly. Be careful, the steak prices are higher than they deserve, my New York strip was definately not worth what I paid. This is the most I've paid for a streak dinner in Las Vegas (almost three Benjamin's for 2 if us) and it wasn't worth that price.

Ordered a porterhouse medium well... It was still mooing. And absolutely no seasoning...no salt pepper....nothing. The garlic mashed potatoes... Well I'll be tasting garlic for a good month 🤢 the salad was delicious and the margarita was amazing. The servers were amazing and really if it were not for the amazing service they provided this would be a 1 star. WAY OVER PRICED!!!!! Go to Texas Roadhouse or even golden corral....you'd get a better steak
Mark W. (Fix It Man)
Romantic intimate setting complimented by a friendly staff. Their 5 star menu is reasonably-priced for the experience. We loved it and I'm sure you will too.
Bryant Ulmer
Love the place! The service is top notch. The food and drinks were great. If you want to treat someone to one of the best steaks in LV then take them here; not much more to say than that. Lastly, be sure to make a reservation or you may be waiting (30-45) to be seated.

This is a hidden gem in a dilapidated low end hotel on the far end of the strip. Surrounded by Auntie Annes Pretzels and Krispy Kreme is The Steakhouse. Upon entering you are swept into a completely different environment than the hotel itself. It’s dark and “old vegas” classy. The wait staff is phenomenal and truly wants you to enjoy. Unlike Most steakhouses the steaks come with a salad and sides. This comes at a price as the average steak is about $80. The steaks are good, the food is good and the bread is great. If you are looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion this place would be really nice and the fact it’s in a dumpy hotel makes it uniquely vegas.

Wow! Wow! Wow!
Old School Steakhouse in the old Circus Circus. Frank, Dean, Joey & Sammy having dinner in the corner😄. Wait staff in white tuxedo shirts & black attire. Least tenured employee…..23 years. Huge Salad, homemade bread, tater - loaded with real bacon, asparagus and Filet with Bernaise sauce included for one price. Manager walking the place checking on guests and assisting the staff.
For my Fiancé’s birthday, they gave her a complementary piece a cake, which was delicious (and I’m not even a cake guy) and everybody came out and sang to her… Such a 1970’s old school experience…the entire restaurant was singing.
We highly recommend this establishment to anybody that’s in Las Vegas and wants to avoid the high prices and Ticky- tack a la carte charges put on like places like Spago ( Bellagio) Who charged me $16 for four pieces of bread… Bread is included at The Steakhouse.
The Hostess as well as our server Roberto and GM Ron were clearly enjoying their jobs and aimed to please. I simply cannot say enough good things about this establishment. I have traveled many places over the past 40 years and this is Clearly in my top 3 restaurants of all time!
Lee Woods
Amazing meal, found in the most unlikely place. The food and service were second to none, a real old fashioned vibe to the whole thing. This place belongs in a better casino!
Jaime's Palette
Just, WOW!! This was the BEST steak I've ever had, the (medium rare) filet mignon was cooked to perfection! Loved the atmosphere and the waitstaff was very accommodating! Can't wait to eat here next time I'm in Vegas again.
John S
Another visit to this location, a big thanks to Richard for being very accommodating and for the excellent service.
This is my favorite steak house in Vegas! I have frequented CraftSteak House, Stack, and Heritage Steakhouse many times, To my surprise it's a hidden gem. The steaks are absolutely amazing! They cook the steaks over wood that gives it a savory and smokey flavor. It's got that old school look and feel inside, think brass, leather and wood. Love it! If you love steak, you should definitely give this place a try.
Mark Armas
Aged prime beef is cooked to perfection over a mesquite fire. Ambiance oozes vintage Vegas. Frank Sinatra had a designated booth here, talk about nostalgia. We eat here every time we are in town. Be sure to make reservations well in advance.
Pam Hawk
Good old fashioned Steak House! You must have the French Onion Soup with your meal. Very attentive friendly and helpful staff. Very much worth the visit.
Shaun Strange
Some Jameson to match with a top shelf steak. The ambiance is like where the good fellas would go for dinner. Highly reccomend it, best steak house in Vegas.
Makayla Cherrington
The food was delicious. $200 for two fillet dinners. Our waiter was a little snippy and treated us like children. The decor is very outdated.
sylvain brodeur
Absolute great evening. We went there for a nice steak dinner, no reservations( we were 10), the manager said no problem and hooked us up with the best seats in the house. Felix the waiter was the absolute best I saw in my whole life, absolute great service, no errors whit our plates, fast and effective. I Highly recommend it
Yolonda Stanley
The food was excellent the only disappointment was that the server did not inform us that there would be a $60 plate split charge!
Rainbow Migraines
My partner and I went to this steakhouse after passing it for well over ten years because of the price. My partner, who since he was a boy had been going to Las Vegas and, most times, Circus Circus, every year, dreamed of one day going here. Unfortunately, it did not live up to his expectations, nor the value of what it costs to eat here.
We had no problems with getting a reservation and the service was exemplary, but the ambiance and food were mediocre. We had the misfortune of having our romantic evening quashed by a large, rowdy group who took the restaurant from a pleasant whisper quiet to a Denny's level of noise pollution.
The wine and bread were good, the shrimp was appetizing, and the black bean soup was quite fine. Then, we got our entrees. I was taken aback at hour large the portions were, but didn't mind.
The garlic mashed potatoes, as our server had said, were excellent. The asparagus was plain, with no accompaniment or seasoning. The steaks, however, had problems. My partner ordered a 12 ounce filet mignon, medium, and I ordered the New York strip, medium-rare. While the crust was rather good on mine, the flesh itself was somehow very, very bland.
Oddly, it barely even tasted like steak. I abhor people who use condiments, other than au jus, with beef... but, this had to be salvaged with a bit of horseradish from the shrimp cocktail we had earlier. It wasn't overdone or anything, it simply tasted like nothing on the inside. I think I have had vegan meat substitutes with more flavor.
My partner had a similar experience, except that his medium filet mignon was cooked right on the edges and -rare- throughout. He also complained of it being excessively chewy, did not like the accompanying béarnaise sauce (I believe that was what is was called) and had to order a side of mushrooms to make it more palatable. He barely finished half before he had had enough of the excessive amount of myoglobin dribbling off of the steak.
We both agreed that the steak served at Texas Roadhouse was better than this and that simply isn't acceptable for a place of this price point.
Add on the to the fact we dealt with the rowdy, loud group that took our experience from romantic to diner-style, we became antsy to get our check and leave the place to get dessert in a quieter setting. We didn't bother to complain or mention anything to the management or server; we just wanted to leave.
My partner got to realize his dream of coming here, after finally having the financial means to do so, only to leave with expensive leftovers fit for our bulldog.
Service: 5/5
Ambiance: 3/5 (formerly 5/5 before the group came in)
Food: 3/5 (steak and asparagus had problems)
Value: 3/5

We had a great evening here with amazing food and superb service from Felix, our waiter.
It is a pretty expensive place, but worths it. Some of the steaks are HUGE.
Ladies received a flower at the entrance because of mother's day. It was a nice detail.
We had the seafood sensation to the center with incredibly fresh crab legs, oysters & shrimp. Simply perfect.
Beware the wasabi at the center is natural and very spicy.
Then, each of us ordered different things.
Our ranking was:
1.- The lamb chops. They were amazing with a side of tender lobster tail bad mashed potatoes and mint jelly.
2.- Filet Mignon. Although it was the smallest steak, the flavour was totally different vs the rest of the steaks with a delicate seasoning and a baked potato. The best option to have a normal sized steak with amazing flavor.
3.- Porterhouse steak. A pretty big steak, very juicy cooked medium rare just as we asked. Amazing quality.
4.- Rib Eye. A very good steak. Also it was huge and you can tell the difference vs other places by the aging flavor.
Cocktails were ok also.
This place is a MUST when it comes to get a nice dinner in Las Vegas.

The Steak House at The Circus Circus was one of the best dining experiences we ever had. The second you walk in you know the service to their guest is top priority. We arrived early and Ron seated us to a special table to experience the restaurant. The smell in there was excellent. A steak lovers paradise. The selection of dry aged wonders can be gazed upon as you enter the restaurant. The cooks took great pride on our dishes, I have never seen such care go into prepping a steak over their fire grill. The server was attentive , quick and kind. The dim lighting makes the experience very intimate and personal. Drinks were wonderful, appetizers were delicious and the salad, how do you make your salad so good ?Their Rib Eye was the most heavenly steak I have ever tasted, juicy, tender and spectacular. To the well trained staffed you guys are the definition of professional, thank you for providing a wonderful experience. I urge anyone who is looking for a dining experience head to The Steak House at The Circus Circus you will not be disappointed. See you on my birthday !
Darren Wood
A real Las Vegas gem. One of the best steaks we've had in a long time. They did a fantastic Pittsburgh rare for our ribeye, perfect and flavorful char. Felix and Tyson were so attentive and friendly. We felt a little bad for coming in our concert t-shirts, but everyone was accommodating and non judgemental. We will definitely be back.
Daniel Sanchez
Birthday dinner at the best steakhouse in Vegas. The most tender filet mignon I have ever experienced!
Monty Elistratov
Definitely a great place to have some steak. I had a very good and juicy New York Steak, I ate at the bar and our bartender took care of all our needs. Over all I recommend this place, the only thing I would suggest it's to have a better selection of IPA's.
Dominque Eddins
We watched several YouTube videos because we wanted to go to a Steak house for our 1 year anniversary! This place stood out to us! This place is a hidden jewel of Vegas! We made sure to make a reservation because of the limited capacity. Once checked in, we were seated right away in front of their grilling station. Service was great and food was absolutely delicious! Very well seasoned and so much to eat! We had had enough food left over for another meal. I will save this place and return when back in Vegas!
Thomas Piland
The best steakhouse in Las Vegas. Get the prime rib and enjoy because the service is second to none.
Heidi G
Everything was fabulous, the service, sinatra in the background, the cocktails and the food! I had petite filet oscar style, rare. Cooked to perfection. My guy had the NY butterflied. Margaritas, Cosmos, chocolate cake. Who could ask for more? Did I say the staff was amazing? Absolutely amazing. Thank you Roberto for a memorable experience. 💖
Victoria
Wow! This place really is a hidden gem among Vegas steakhouses with an old Vegas vibe. The filet mignon was by far one of the best I've ever had. The garlic mash was delicious. Staff was incredibly friendly. Don't let the location fool you, this is the real deal!
Michelle Liu
This little gem is inside Circus Circus. It's such a random fine dinning restaurant inside the strips budget friendly casino. We made reservation last minute for a Saturday night and they took us in 30 minutes before closing.
Once you enter the door, the lights are dim, you are greeted by the hostess. You will walk pass a fridge with a bunch of meat hanging and a giant lobster. The grill is right in the middle of the restaurant.
The server we had was an older white gentlemen and was very attentive. Gave us our menu and brought us water right away. This restaurant has a very old traditional feel to it, where the service is top notch. Whenever my water was low, he came back right away and filled it.
This place offers free bread and the pretzel bread was the best! We ordered a French onion soup, Filet Mignon with baked potato and a ribeye with mashed potato.
The steak comes with a salad and it was delicious, the Italian dressing they use was something very good and very different. The ribeye and filet mignon was both cooked to order of medium rare. The French onion soup wasn't that great, it was way too salty. The baked potato came with bacon bits at no extra charge. The mashed potato was so delicious and flavorful, it is a must try.
This place is a must try, the price is pretty reasonable compare to steakhouses in the nicer casinos on the strip.
Overall:
Service: 10/10
Food: 10/10
Cleanliness: 9/10

Great service from our waiter Felix, he was awesome.
Food was quite good and really appreciate a restaurant with no music, we could actually talk to each other with 10 people at the table.
judy gonzales
The service alone gets a 5 star review! Everyone was great! The food was delicious. The steak was as big as my head...lol I will defenelty be back soon. :)
Virginia Pittman
Great customer service ,we were running late for our reservation I called to tell them when we got there the manager sat us quickly the server Teo was on point with the refills and attention to detail definitely recommend
W.K. Hu
Service is good but so difficult to get a table; impossible to dine without making reservations one or two days before.
The salad and bread are tasty. The steak itself is very tasty but the amount is just GIGANTIC!!! I am a 180cm/87kg man that I cannot even finish it. Sincerely recommend Asian visitors order Petite entrees.
The bar inside THE Steak House is lovely while the cocktail is soso, which takes away one star from its rating.
Steven A
Had our Anniversary dinner here. Great place to eat, Terri our server was outstanding. Everything was cooked the way we wanted it. Only thing we didn't like which has nothing to do with the restaurant was walking to it. It felt like we were walking through a swap meet, with junky little shops.
Brian Wester
I loved it! We did not make reservations and were sat immediately. Had Japanese wagyu filet great flavor melts in your mouth.it came with house salad and garlic mashed potatoes at no extra charge. Shrimp cocktail was very good came with a creamy horseradish sauce and cocktail sauce shrimp were were large and firm.
Gyorgy Molnar
The only reason not 5 star is the stuff. Was a bit not so polite and two waiters were working on the table which one cause problems at the end when we have to pay the bill.
The food was great, so worth to try, maybe will be lucky with other stuff. Nice place inside Circus Circus
Cassie Lee
We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday here. Everything was exceptional. The food and service were terrific. I wish I could recall our waiters name. He was amazing!
Vincent Brown
Once again, the prime rib did not disappoint. I highly recommend getting the petite vice the bone in. Just seems more reasonable.
Lori Burton
My husband brought me here for my birthday 3 years ago and it was pricey, but an unforgettable experience. Were travelling back to Vegas this year for HIS birthday and he wants to return to the steak house for his celebration. He loved the seafood appetizer.
Joshua Baca
The service is excellent, the restaurant has a classy atmosphere. The steak is good, but it is pricey. It’s a nice place for a special occasion.
Ingrid Gonzalez
My husband and I come here to eat at least once every month and they never disappoint. The food is great, our servers have always been really good to us, the manager is really nice and overall it’s always a great experience coming here. I recommend it 10/10!
Lori Slings
This is a DO NOT MISS steakhouse. Flavors were amazing. Richard our server and everyone else went out of their way to make us comfortable and welcome. This is the place to go. Plan ahead and get a reservation. You will be thrilled you dined at this exceptional location. Food is that good!!!!
Graham
Great old school experience. Good food and great service. Beef is better in Australia but that is not their fault. Well worth it, even though it is located in a very smelly casino.
Aron Steg
This is a staple in the Vegas food scene and i visit here every time I’m in Vegas. It’s pretty expensive but what isn’t in Vegas? We had the oyster (awesome), mushrooms (perfect) and filet minion (better than perfect!)
T W
You wouldn't expect a place like this to be in such an old hotel, but it is definitely a diamond in the rough. Everything from the appetizers, to the entree, to the dessert were all divine. Pricey, but definitely worth it.
Ron Bloise
A time honored Vegas icon with a true old Steakhouse feel. The New York steak was excellent, the baked potato a perfect doneness and texture and the black bean soup was an unexpected star!
Natalie Laskowski
The best steak I have ever had. I thought the service was excellent along with everything I ate.
Stephanie Alick
French onion soup was lovely but felt rushed as the waiter started clearing away plates of the others in the party whilst some were still eating. Was advised to have the New York strip steak as it's as good as a ribeye, but honestly wasn't the best. The same waiter started creating away the plates while again, many of us were still eating. Where I'm from, it's the 1st rule of a waiter/waitress, don't clear a table until everyone has finished eating. Had 3 free desserts to celebrate the birthday shenanigans. The drinks service was good as it was refillable glasses. However, 3 fingers down the glass, they take away your glass to refill. Great service and happy staff
Eric B.
This is absolutely our favorite Steakhouse!
Ron, the maitre d, is always great and has an awesome table for us. Keep in mind mostly all the waitstaff has 20 plus yrs here! The food is very tasty. And the atmosphere is old school steakhouse and Vegas! ENJOY 😉
Just had another great experience. Roberto took care of us and even suggested a deviation in our regular rib eye. It was great! He was super attentive and very congenial. Roberto is our new go-to pro server at The Steakhouse. Again, I missed Ron, but kudos my friend!
Tony
Sat at the bar as we were able to get seated without a reservation. Bartender was very helpful with ordering and friendly. Got the French onion soup and ribeye. Both were the best I’ve had. Highly recommend this place.
Adrian Rivera
This statehouse is like old NY stile. Very nice, good selection of wi es and the meat is A+. The servers are very experienced and very present. It feels like they shouldn't be at circus, circus. They should be at a more upscale environment.
Zach LaScola
The atmosphere is a fantastic reprieve from the lunacy of the Circus Circus Hotel & Casino and the service was nearly flawless. Unfortunately, the steaks do not hold up to that standard. The ribeye was a hearty portion, but it felt like a chore to finish rather than a pleasure. The medium rare was mostly overcooked and woefully under seasoned. Much of the steak had hardly any flavor at all - no pepper, no salt, no buttery goodness. Reviews are mostly amazing for this place, but I was definitely disappointed.
Stephen Ely
Absolutely fantastic. This place is a hidden gem in a old casino. If you want top quality in all aspects from service, conversation and food quality this is the place. You wont be disappointed.
Ornit Druker
Great dinner as always!! 5 stars.
Bert Geens
By far my favorite steak house in Las Vegas. Parking sucks, and the casino is run-down with low limits - BUT - the food is amazing and the service was impeccable.
Los Bones
Come here every time we are in Vegas and it never disappoints. Was taking to a couple of the waiting staff who have about 70 years experience here between them and they said the kitchen crew have been around even longer. It definitely explains the consistency. You will not find a better steak in Vegas. Don’t waste your time trying.
Matthew Geurts
My wife and I visited The Steak House for our anniversary on April 5, 2019 at the recommendation of a friend. While we had an enjoyable time the visit was tarnished a bit by a sub par steak. I ordered a medium rate filet. It was very much on the rare side with the center still being cold. I asked to have it touched up a bit, and what I got back was medium well (at best) probably closer to well done.
I was pretty full from the sides and bread--all of which was delicious--so it was not the end of the world. Unfortunately the crown jewel of my meal was not very satisfactory. I didn't want to complain in person as I didn't want to sour our special night.
Unfortunately I would not recommend this establishment to a friend as there are plenty of other steak options in town.
Eduardo “Edostyles03” Orozco
Delicious and amazing. Pricey but really great steakhouse to enjoy. Tucked away in a spot youd never thunk would be. Felt fancy and service was way above expectations.
M Kells
THE Steak house was an amazing experience and worth every penny. The service was outstanding. Attentive without being disruptive, and our drinks were never empty. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and complimented well with sides. Getting bread, a salad, veggie, and a selection of potato options added value to the price tag. I had my first porterhouse here and it set the bar.
Truly a gem in Circus Circus. EAT HERE! ❤
Luis Ordonez
Outstanding service hidden jem inside circus circus 🎪. Very private and cozy and they treat you like Royalty. And the food is delicious 🤤 10 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Jen Rahn
It's hard to imagine that such an amazing steak house is inside Circus Circus. This place has such a great retro vibe to it. My husband and I went there in May. It was nothing short of fantastic. We sat at the bar to eat and we couldn't have had a better or more personable experience. The service was superb and the food was excellent. One of the best we have eaten at while on vacation!
Robert White
Tender steak cooked on a Mesquite wood fire. Perfect atmosphere for dinner.
Brian Gallagher
Great business dinner. The seafood is tower was amazing and all the steaks were perfect. Our server had a great sense of humor while taking great care of us.
Dee Freedom
They sure didn't return to PRE COVID, Elegance. Very disappointed in the 1st impression my guests received when taken to the table. A Cafeteria type set up instead of the elegant plate and utensil placement there used to be. Then the DOGGIE BAG..... WOW ! Wow! They used to put your leftover in a container and a nice Steak House paper bag. Now, We had to bad our own and then - a Circus Circus bag.... very tacky.
The food and staff as always was Great !! However, if I want to take my guests to a High end restaurant - this no longer feels like fine dining.
Harley Nicole
The service at The Steak House was great. The $70 ribeye, left more to be desired for my tastebuds. I left over half my steak on the plate.
Circus Circus is exactly what is described. A madhouse.. the atmosphere when you walk into the steak house is completely transformed taking you into another era. I was half expecting people in old school suits to be sitting eating.
It was intimate, private. Romantic. The wine selection was immaculate. The layered cake wine is divine!
Cesar salad to start was delicious. Ribeye medium rare, asparagus and garlic mashed entree. When I pay for a $70 steak and my favorite part of the entree was the mashed potatoes... That's saying something. I live with a chef so I'm treated to good food 7 days a week. The steak was, bland... It simply tasted like a cut of meat thrown on the grill. It was tender but has zero seasoning or auj jus flavoring like it's been dry aged or marinated. Maybe some people like it like that. My personal preference, I like my steak to have some flavor. Bring out the juices in the meat. I ended up ordering the peppercorn sauce and that made it much better.
But leaving my thoughts were, a Texas Roadhouse steak had more flavor at a fraction of the cost... That's saying something...
naomi stuart
Delicious steak, great sides, huge portions! Staff are very friendly also. The hotel is a bit rough but the restaurant is well worth a visit
Gavin O
Went to famous steakhouse at circus circus. Got a poppy van winkle shot!! A ribeye with asparagus and garlic mash potatoes and a fantastic waiter named Felix!! Highly recommend!! Can’t be beaten!! Atmosphere was crazy! Old school vegas vibe!
Kevin Dalton
Maybe it’s because I had such low expectations but, THE Steak House was very impressive. The portions were huge, meals included sides, and the atmosphere was pretty cool with the grill sitting in the middle of the restaurant. You don’t get any “wow” factor as you walk through the casino to get there, but the food was really good. I hate to admit it, but Circus Circus may be a permanent stop when I come into Vegas. I had the filet which was cooked to a perfect medium-rare. My co-worker has the prime rib and it was the largest cut I’ve ever seen. It was enough to feed a small army.
TS HC
You would never find the better one combine with happy atmosphere, delicious steak, and kind service for no matter anytime you come back it will present the quality as you can image.
Mykala Farmer
This cozy restaurant has left the best impression! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, great bar, and excellent dessert. I recommend it to everyone! This is now a family tradition for any special occasion while in Las Vegas!!
BIGWIPPIN
Absolutely delicious! The steak was perfectly cooked with an amazing crust. I suggest the fillet mignon paired with the garlic mashed potatoes and french onion soup. Service was wonderful and genuine. Thank you for a wonderful time!
Tamara Douglass
Best steak in town. The appetizer was amazing. The steak was perfectly done. The really are the best place in town. You completely forget that you are in a casino. The service is absolutely the best. Very attentive and even brought our son an extra plate with potatoes and asparagus on it because he was sharing dad's steak. It was well worth the money spent.
Jonathan Pinon
Best I mean best steakhouse I've been too. Service, amazing. Atmosphere, classy, relaxing. And food is prepared beautifully always

We were super excited to try this place as Vegas locals that love the iconic and old school Vegas feel, especially when it comes to a good steak and drink. So we got our Valentine's Day reservation in weeks in advance and headed here ready to dine!
High points: seafood was great, the martini was perfect, the cheesecake was delightful, and our server was on point.
Low point: We were definitely disappointed in the quality of our steaks. We had a NY Strip and Bone-in Ribeye, and both were incorrectly cooked. We could have overlooked this if the flavor and quality were better, but both our steaks were tough and far from packed with flavor. We threw some table salt on them to help them out a bit, but still for $85 a steak, we were far from happy with what we had.
Overall: Go for the drinks and an appetizer, but pass on the steak until they get their quality of meat and seasoning figured out.
Kristen DiThomas
We always stay at Circus Circus and finally decided to check this place out. They definitely didn't disappoint! My eleven and fifteen year old daughters both had the shrimp. They were huge and they said they were delicious. The girls were pleased with the way the butter was kept melted with candles from underneath. I had the strip steak and it was huge and the best one I've ever had. The service was amazing! I highly recommend THE Steakhouse if you're looking for a wonderful dining experience.

The Service and efficiency of the restaurant is great. The quality of the food however fell short. We ordered the porterhouse and Filet. The steak was cooked to our request but the steak/quality was tough, not flavorful and seasoned properly. The sides were cold and lacked flavor. The best thing was the pretzel bread they started us out with. I compare this place to a more expensive salt grass.

Forget the fact that this is located in Circus Circus!!! We come every thanksgiving and I've tried a lot of steakhouses on the strip. This is by far the best one I've been too.
Let's start with the top notch customer service. They didn't let our drinks get below 3/4 full. Always on top of refills.
Rolls were hot, salads came with meals (which was a nice bonus). Steaks and lobster tails were seasoned well and cooked to order. King crab legs and shrimp was fresh and delicious.
We also loved how the kitchen was open, so we could watch them cooking.
You will not go wrong with this steakhouse. It had an old school steakhouse vibe, but it was also pretty casual. We felt comfortable in smart casual with jeans. I would say average $100ish per person.

Went here on recommendation of cab driver. Classic, old gentlemans library type feel. Server was EXCELLENT- personable, knowledgeable and attentive without being too much. We were unimpressed with the steak & sides (garlic mash, sautéed mushrooms & asparagus). Steak was undercooked, food was bland in general. The salad, dinner rolls and cheesecake were delicious. I wanted to like the food more because our server was so great but it just was not worth the price!

Roberto is the best waiter in Vegas! Just ask him!!! Amazing experience, food, environment and people!

This is somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. Ordered the 76 dollar rib-eye with garlic mash and asparagus. Since I was alone, I ate at the bar and the staff was super friendly. First I got two pieces of bread and butter which was well baked. Then I got this giant bone-in rib-eye. It was cooked to a perfect medium which is what I ordered, had good sear and was juicy. Unfortunately for 76, I would hope for perfection and I didn't get that. There was absolutely no seasoning as it yearned for salt. I think they forgot to sprinkle anything on it and just grilled it and then tossed it in a hot oven. The garlic mash was more-or-less just mash and the asparagus... and this part is a little mysterious, but it tasted like grass, it needed oil and salt. I think they just blanched it. So for over $100 in total, I don't feel I had my money's worth, perhaps they just rushed mine because I was alone at a bar.🤷♂️

It may be circus circus but this steakhouse is good - the staff is great and most of them have been there since day 1 of opening - that speaks highly of how this steakhouse treats their staff. Wait time was 20 mins, food was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place.
Nathan Marchese
The food was amazing. The staff was amazing. The atmosphere was awesome. The decor was nice as well. They were on point with everything. I will definitely go their again. Also it’s one of the best Steaks in town! I would recommend setting up a reservation! Good steak house in Vegas fill up fast.
James Taylor
The French onion soup is exquisite. If you have the filet, try it with béchamel.

Simply put, there is not a better Steakhouse anywhere! And I'm not just talking about Las Vegas. Me and my wife have been going here for about 20 years now and go at least once a month, if not more often. Sometimes we hit the steakhouse twice on our trips. The food is A+ and NOT alacarte, so a value as well. But the VALUE is much more than this. The service is impeccable. The least tenured staff member is 15 years +. And some much longer. Rey Lu is not only our preferred, but also now a great friend! Ron is a gem as well.
If there is a downside, it is that you've got to swim through the Circus-Circus crowd to get there. That in and of itself is almost a reason not to go...but, once you step inside the doors, you're in a transport back in time. The ambiance takes you back to yesteryear...and once you leave, you're already planning the next visit back.

I see great reviews on this page...It has been a while since I was last there (2015). I always celebrated my birthday (Jan 10th) while attending CES. First the maitre'd Ron Randazzo is great and my waitress Nancy, always the best. Going back this fall for a golf event and bringing a bunch of guys to experience this place. If you are squeamish about prices, this is not the place for you. The steaks are superb. The service is impeccable. The atmosphere is outstanding,,,the hardest part about this fabulous restaurant is getting thru the lobby of CircusCircus. Can't wait to get back there.

We ate at The Steakhouse with our son and grandson on May 22, 2021. From the moment we were greeted by Ron, the restaurant manager, we felt at home. Beautiful decor. Reminded us of top notch New York restaurant
We sat at the bar for a few minutes . The bar tender mixed us PERFECT martinis. Generous pour I might add
We were seated in a booth. For the VERY FIRST TIME, in a restaurant, my, deaf, with cochlear implants, husband could hear and interact in our conversation. The acoustics are impeccable
Our dinner served, by Ray, was exquisite. Wonderful service, perfectly prepared and very generous portions
We will revisit many times to come
How wonderful, and welcomed we felt.
The manager, Ron welcomes you and checks on your approval of the service and food. Eating at The Steakhouse is a welcome change from the disinterested, we’re doing you a favor, post Covid reopening restaurants staff.

We had our wedding dinner here. David, our waiter was the best! This is a must eat at when you are in Vegas! Well worth the price if you want quality service and food.

I been there every time we go to Vegas for the last 3 years. They have the best steak for the price you pay. This place gets compared a lot to outback or a chain place which is an insult to the restaurant. This is your typical casual prime steak not your Texas pub quick steak stop. This place is a hidden Gem 💎 since it's located in a spot that you would never even imagine it exists. Now let me tell you once you are inside you will find an 80s outdated atmosphere without luxurious decoration but this place like to keep it old fashioned. That atmosphere gives you a feeling of privacy and coziness. Now to the food 😋 well they start with their delicious butter and bread which are perfectly balanced, the asparagus are plain nothing special about them maybe if they grilled them with garlic and butter will make so much of a difference, next mashed potatoes taste very garlicky which I loved it but for others might be a setback, the steak is just one of the best I ever had, to be exact the second best. I been to restaurants like salt Bae, Mortons etc, I know what a great steak should taste like. In my opinion this steak house almost beats salt baes in flavor. Yes people is that great , this restaurant rocks. One bite into the bone in ribeye and you'll be hooked. Many people complain about the price but the steak is huge and the quality is prime. Nowadays your outback place averaged 40 per steak and they give you a small portion at not so good quality. You just couldn't compare this place for the flavor and price and size of the steak. To me its actually kind of cheap for what you get. This place wow me everytime. Maybe with a slight renovation with a more modern setting will give this restaurant a perfect 10/10 score.
I never expected my favorite steakhouse was going to be inside circus circus. For the price this is my favorite steakhouse in the world.
Franny Love
Everything was cooked to perfection! The ribeye with bone and garlic mashed potatoes is a must! Ask to sit in Mike's section 💚 …
Casey Smith
Absolutely the best steak house in Vegas. We went here for my wife’s 40th bday on a recommendation from a friend that lived in Vegas for years. We loved everything about this place. A few nights later, went to the Luxor’s high end steak house and this place blew the Luxor’s away.
Circus Circus is definitely dated but, THE Steak House feels like what Vegas used to be. Can’t recommend this place enough!
Rob Hirschmann
Awesome unassuming family run steakhouse off the strip in a schlocky 70’s casino serving amazing mesquite cooked steaks. Prices look high but once you consider meals come with salad/soup and a side plus a veggie, it’s not a bad deal. My fav place to eat a high end meal in Vegas!
Dan Leeber
I've taken customers here since the mid-90's and it's NEVER been a disappointment. The beef cuts are fantastic even though it is difficult for me to order something beyond my favorite prime rib.
Very warm "clubby" environment with small intimate booths if you want to cozy up to someone special.
The staff is great and by the way, so is the wine list but it is VERY pricy. I would suggest to the owner/manager to add some wine selections that are not so high priced you have to question the decision to order a bottle or a glass.
Olga Vasilenko
Lovely place with a great atmosphere, music, service and food! Absolutely love it!
JB Fenix
Really nice steakhouse but in a hugely competitive Vegas steakhouse market it doesn’t stand out. Good for business dinners where everyone wants a steak?
Tonya Ervin
Classy old school steak house with excellent customer service. The steak is to die for..huge delicious portions cooked to perfection!
Kwatz
My love took me here for our first time for my bday!! The service was amazing as soon as we walked in!! The manager stopped by a few times and everyone wished me a happy birthday!! The best part was our server Felix!! If you have the chance to go request him, he's amazing!! The food was delicious!

The Steak House is a place we visit every time we hit Vegas, at least twice per year, save during 2020 COVID shut down. Started 10 years ago at the recommendation of a former Steak House employee and I consider it to have been the best steak restaurant I've ever dined at. I do have to admit that this trip (November 23, 2021) the quality and service were slightly less than excellent. The bread selection used to include at least 4 different types of bread (Parmesan bread sticks) which are now two, but still very good standard and pretzel style rolls. Expensive mushroom appetizer was good even though I mistakenly ordered it instead of the onion soup. Salads were tasty but average. Wife got the petite filet (butterfly medium) and I ordered the strip medium rare, both cooked to perfection but the strip had more than usual gristle. Wild rice and garlic mash were tasty but the asparagus was crunchy and needed seasoning/grilling. The waiter was extremely busy and seemed as though he was trying to just keep up. Not the outstanding attentive service we were used to but good enough to warrant 4 stars. Prices have increased pretty dramatically since our last visit but that is to be expected with the present state of economy and economics after the slow down. Expect $100 per person minimum if you go. Will give it one more go when we return in February and will review afterwards. We will see...
M
Excellent food and great dining experience. You will have to deal with the loud, crowded halls throughout circus circus to get here but once you find the doors (we passed up twice just due to moving within the crowd of people) and go thru them it's like a total transformation into a quiet, serene 5 star restaurant. I would definitely go back for the food and atmosphere, you just have to get past the stress of parking and crowds.
Y. G.
A legendary spot! Celebrated my son’s 18th birthday here and, it did not dispappoint!
Scott Ferguson
The BEST SteakHouse in Vegas and may very well be the best in US. The staff is wonderful. The place soothes with ambiance. At any moment you think Dean Martin, Sinatra or another of the Rat Pack will walk around the corner or be seated at the next table. I visit Vegas once a year and the highlight is always eating at THE Steak House!
Keaton Clark
Really good service and great food! Totally the best in Vegas!
Anthony Gonzalez
Hands down probably one of the best steaks i've had in a long time. It was cooked exactly like I wanted, had a nice char on the outside and was incredibly flavorful and juicy on the inside.
Del Cabon
Always fantastic. Steak is their calling ala the name. It's a bit pricey, but you get the whole meal, no need for extras.
Service is completely on point for the entire meal. You won't reach for an empty drink or an untidy table area.
It's been a staple of Vegas for years and has held up well for a reason.

Delicious ... outstanding service awesome to see them cooking in front of you Felix was cool
Lisa Quinn
Exactly what we heard about from others, just a Fabulous Old Las Vegas Steakhouse that is Consistently committed to Perfection!! Exceptional Service accompanied by Exceptionally Wonderful Food and Drink!! Cannot say anything to Truly Express Our Genuine Enjoyment in Celebrating my friends' birthday 🎉
Junior J. Urena
Excellent Server and the Ribeye steak was cooked exactly how I asked for it. Everything was great tasting. Will definitely come back A++
Karpis Maksudian
Excellent as always, great steak and awesome service
John Forman
I try to get to at least one high end steak house every time I visit Vegas. This one has been at the top of my list for quite some time now. I would definitely rate this one just slightly below par compared to some of the others.
Steaks were cooked correctly, however lacked any flavor other than some char from the grill. No searing, and no seasoning whatsoever. Very disappointing.
I will say that the appetizers where on par or above par to other high end steak houses. Had the absolute best crab cake I have ever had there. PHENOMENAL.
Cocktails were strong another plus.
Desserts were on par...had the standard creme brulee.
Maybe they just had an off night on the grill, worth another shot at the end of the day.
AL
An absolute hidden gem!!! From start to finish, the dining experience was wonderful. Our server, Richard was phenomenal.
Our steaks were perfectly cooked and presented well. I recommend the Ribeye.
The coffee is the best coffee I have ever had. So smooth, freshly prepared.

Every time I need to bring the wife somewhere special this is the place. You can't order anything bad. Wonderful portions wonderful staff wonderful environment. The drinks rival the food. If you get a chance you must stop by!
Lorraine Barrett
Exceptional and very timely service. We were walking out an hour and 15 minutes after having drinks, appetizers, entree and dessert, but were not rushed in any way. The prime rib was amazing; cooked to perfection and the cheesecake was one of the lightest and best tasting I’ve ever had.
Alec Damiano
Excellent food & excellent service
Hex
A friend recommended this wonderful place to us to celebrate our anniversary. The management and the staff were all very welcoming and amazing. They were on top of their game and provided excellent service.
The steaks we ordered were made to perfection! We truly enjoyed ourselves and the food was delicious. The best I've ever had! They gave us complimentary desserts for our anniversary which made our day even sweeter! I will make sure that we will return to this place every time we visit the strip.
Michelle Friot
Great atmosphere, good prices for a real steak dinner, and excellent service. Steak was cooked a true blue rare as ordered over an open flame. Chae and Alfredo provided great service.
Eva Markovic
Loved the food and service at The Steak House.Felix was polite, genuine, great sense of humor, n knowledgeable. Did not expect a restaurant like this inside the Circus Circus. Worth the travel, bring your appetite.
Charlotte
Omgosh! Read some las vegas facebook group reviews on the steak house at circus circus and they were not wrong. Excellent service by Roberto and Luis and they were so nice and welcoming. The food was excellent far surpassing Stripsteak which was our to go place (cooking technique has not been great lately) and Prime at Bellagio. Can't believe I'm saying this but The Steak House at Circus circus was well season, cooked perfectly and had a great crust on it. Sides were cooked perfectly, Crackers unlike some places was mostly crab and not bread crumbs, had excellent flavor and outside sear. Thanks you chiefs for the wonderful meal! Drinks were great and restaurant nice and clean. Will definitely be back!
Paul Burg
Every time I come to Vegas (I live in Buffalo) I come here.My wife and I have been here several times. I’ve recommended many friends and have brought many people here. Everyone loves it! 12 of us went there last night and the experience was awesome! First class service. Our waiter Roberto couldn’t have been more attentive. Amazing seafood appetizers. Biggest shrimp ever! Perfectly done steaks. The entree's INCLUDE potato veg and salad! Caesar salad too big too finish without spoiling your appetite for the steak! Great desserts. I can’t wait till next time! It’s hard to believe this amazing steakhouse is in the Circus Circus, but it certainly is!
Victor Vennari
Celebrated my wife's 30th work Anniversary. Great food, excellent service and fantastic atmosphere!
Benny Ross
The original steakhouse cooked over mesquite the only one in Vegas a must try I've tried a lot but keep coming back here
Tiffany Winton
Amazing food! I surprised my best friend with a trip to Vegas for her birthday a month ago, and decided to bring her to The Steak House for a special birthday dinner. The meal is amazing and worth every penny. Crab cakes are awesome as well. In fact, I will be returning to Vegas next week on 3/18/21 for me and my brother's birthday and plan to dine here
Brandon Latimer
Hands down the best steak my fiance and i have ever had in our lives! Service was great, atmosphere is second to none, be prepared to spend a little dough though, i think the cheapest steak is around 80 dollars but it is well worth it!!!
Debi Gu
This is must try eatery excellent service that goes over and beyond what I expected the steaks are excellent quality with melt in your mouth tenderness my husband actually used a butter knife to cut his steak thats how tender it was mine was excellent as well cooked to perfection will definitely dine here again
Kris Rambrich
Ron is absolutely the best manager I’ve seen in action! Definitely makes the difference and thats the main reason I take my family here! He’s such a good caring professional person in this line of work!
Ron thank you for making my family feel special, you go above and beyond your job role and you have the ability to connect everyone. You made our dinner happen tonight!

My friend recommended me The Steak House so my expectation was very high. I ordered mid-rare filet mignon and it was perfect. They also have one of my favorite30 yr madeira ports here! Customer service was excellent. Whole experience went above my expectations. I'm definitely coming back here in near future. Reserve your table!
P.S. Thanks to the managers who let us in during peak hour. Warm Regards, Happy Customer from California
brett smith
Definitely one of the best steakhouses. Surely got our money's worth.
Jeremy Reimer
Great steak house. Loved the decor, black bean soup was not as great as I was expecting, the steak however was fantastic.
Dani Rosendahl
Best kept secret in Vegas! We have been coming to Vegas for 40 years and didn't know about The Steakhouse until 3 years ago, when a friend turned us on to this place (thanks James!). It's by far the best steakhouse in Vegas. Improbable since it's in Circus Circus and completely unexpected, the food, ambiance, staff and service provide an amazing dining experience. Just finding the place is an experience. You walk through the Casino and under the trapeze artists, look out for tons of children as they run around the hallway and suddenly there is a dark wooden entrance to The Steakhouse. Once inside, you're in another world. You can't hear anything from outside. We have enjoyed our meals here immensely, from the finely crafted cocktails (Gibson and Manhattan for us), to the freshly baked bread, fresh salads, steak and seafood and loaded baked potatoes. Last night, we were muddling over the wine list and our server, Chae, sent the Sommelier over. He steered us to a wonderful Spanish red that was only $36/bottle. It was fantastic, especially with that price point. We easily could have spent twice that much and not enjoyed the wine as much. Watching the chefs work their magic in the glass enclosed cooking area is fascinating. Can't wait to come back next time we're in Vegas.
Andrew Snipes
I first came here in 1984, and have dined here at least twice a year ever since. The steaks are the best, and the service is impeccable. A trip to Vegas without coming here, is just not a trip to Vegas. Ron and his entire staff are the best, and kudos to my favorite server, Richard.
Thomas Brousseau
Very nice atomosphere and great service. The porterhouse steak was fantastic.
Lou Pliml
Stopped by again, this time with the family. They were very accommodating of my two younger children.
I had the rib eye and my wife had the prime rib. Both were amazing. The server was excellent and the whole experience was great.
Do not plan on spending under a hundred. This is not a cheap eat, but a once in a while splurge. I will be back the next time I'm in Vegas.
Jack collins
This review is a long time coming, this is a fabulous Steakhouse. I've eaten there twice and everyone in my party has had an excellent experience. The steak cuts are phenomenal the service is fantastic, and they're kid friendly which is rare for steak house in Vegas. I highly recommended it.
Sean Fitzgerald
Amazing steak. Definitely a hidden gem inside Circus Circus.
Roy Williamson
It was alright. Friend said the lamb chops where really good. No Mt dew but did have fountain Pepsi so you aren't paying for refills. I liked that it's one price and includes the entire dinner, although that does limit your choices. The salad was good, comes with a bit of everything from onions to mushrooms on it. The baked potato was also good, typical steakhouse baked potato. My filet tasted more like top sirloin and I ordered it well done no pink and half of it was pink in the middle. I didn't send it back because it was so big I could only eat half of it. The pink side came home with me and I will finish cooking it myself.
Miguel de la paz
First and foremost it's a hidden gem inside the venue the ambiance is great ,good music and dim lights with the sound of the fire crackling. The food is amazing and our waiter was also on point with detail. I will definitely be returning on my next trip.
Rick Herrera
Been here several times before and it's still solid! Great friendly service. The French onion soup is so rich and tasty. Prime steaks.
Ted Fedor
What is there to say... Enjoy a superb meal, great steaks outstanding service without paying for the "celebrity chefs" name on the marquee. This steakhouse is a gem... Old style atmosphere with a staff that is by far the best I've ever encountered. Do not miss it...
James Owens
The server Roberto is one of the best servers in Las Vegas! just the he can explain the way the food is maid is simply amazing I would recommend this restaurant. The busser is also pretty good he was right on it with filling your drink and with making sure you were well served and well taken care.
Linda Beth Jones (LB)
This is by far one of the best restaurants I have ever dined in Las Vegas! The atmosphere and attentiveness given to me and my cousins Mr. & Mrs. Richard White, who were visiting from Detroit was superb! The waiter came out with a decadent chocolate cake for my cousin Debra's Birthday 🎂 which surprised us all😊😁☺️
If you are in search of an excellent dine in restaurant that caters to an adult atmosphere's pleasures then THE STEAK HOUSE @CIRCUS CIRCUS IS BY FAR ONE OF THE BEST RESTAURANTS ON LAS VEGAS STRIP TO DINE IN! Thank you to our Maitre'd and waiter (Trey) for your superb professionalism while dining. You met all of our high standards in your restaurant.
Markas Caldwell
Service was impeccable... the steaks, peppercorn sauce, potatoe, salad...everything perfect. Honestly, I've been here a week... ate at Lola's, guy fiery's, capitol grille, Peppermill (×2), and the French joint at the paris... the steak house was the best find ever. We were never left behind, they assisted us with getting a wheelchair for my cousin, the gave us the best a service of all the listed restaurants listed above. And to think it was in the circus circus makes me sad that I would have missed the opportunity if any of the other steak houses I called had an available table. I will return.
Maria Watkins
Awesome lobster 🦞 and filet. We have been eating there for 21 years every time we are in Vegas. Love the salad with hot bacon dressing.
jeannine lopez
Beautiful dining room and superb service. That being said, the food was okay. Nothing really stood out as being amazing or the best I've ever had. For the price we paid I really expected better food.
Greg Forkash
One of the best steak places in Vegas
Cathy Huber
Shared a porterhouse with my husband and it was one of the MOST DELICIOUS steaks I've ever eaten! It was cooked to perfection. I appreciate the $20 option to share the meal since I don't have a large appetite. Baked potato, pretzel rolls, black bean soup, and salad were yummy 😋 …
M Montegomery
I've been to plenty of steakhouses here in Vegas and I must say this specific steakhouse is like a blast from the past! Something about the ambience.. just everything... the waiter we had was very attentive and came to check up on us very often, which was a plus in my opinion. In some places, the waiters ask if you need anything else and never come back until the check is needed. Not this place! I love how you can see the chef cooking your food right in the middle of the room. The food was absolutely delicious and prices were reasonable considering it is a steakhouse. We will definitely be returning here!!
Marley (Marley)
Wow! This is by far the best we have had during our week in Vegas and we are foodies and try all the hot spots! The service is on point, friendly, attentive, and thorough. The meal was so good I did not want it to end. From the bread basket to the Ceasar salad and black bean soup to the wonderfully cooked steak and potato with all the toppings. The asparagus was perfectly cooked with a sauce that is indescribable. Lastly, I only had the manhattan cocktail but it too was supurb! We are all glad to have come here and will make it a must for every future Vegas trip! Thanks for making our visit so special!
Mallori Dempsey
very delicious meal! followed with a great cappuccino and chocolate mousse cake!
Devin Bricker
I have traveled near and far and I will always say this is my favorite restaurant. The steaks are magnificent , decor amazing , it is an experience to behold. Have you ever wondered what it is like to be in a turn of the century whiskey/ gentleman's club in London? Its perfection even salads are spot on! I cant say enough , even the woodworking is period appropriate. I have never been let down ever here and I don't expect I ever will.
David K
The steak was good, perfectly cooked as a matter of fact. The vegetables, the soup, everything great. What I really enjoyed, and it seems that only places like Vegas and NYC get right, is the level of interaction from your waitress/waiter. People don't like to be hounded every five seconds about their food with a "how is everything", nor do they want the service staff too out of reach. This place has balanced that perfectly, and I thank them for it. I will definitely return.
Charles M. Levy
STALE is the word that comes to mind. The atmosphere is in accordance with an old-fashioned steakhouse, but the worn look just doesn’t do it for us. Old fashioned waiters are no longer true professionals when they never ask: “How's the temperature of your steak?” “How are you enjoying your meal?” It never even happened after the waiter refilled our water. Not one word. An open air grill with flaming steaks that greets you on arrival seems like a great idea but slabs of beef being surrounded by smokey glass is not appealing. It’s hard enough keeping a shower stall’s glass clean. The steak was very good, as was the baked potato. The two tiny hot rolls being doled out per person were delicious but requests for more seemed to be ignored. You shouldn’t have to beg; They should ask you! We opted for the lettuce wedge with blue cheese. Not bad. So if you want a very good steak and not much more, this might be the place for you. We were really looking forward to an exceptional meal and didn’t receive it. These are all just opinions probably being unduly affected by the mediocre service.
Daniel Solis
Last night in Vegas and wanted to take my honey to nice restaurant. Well we found a little peace of heaven it was amazing
Food is delicious
People are amazing
Ambiance was great
General Manager Ron Randazzo thank you for helping me make an amazing memory with my wife.

Love coming to dinner or celebrating special occasions 🤩😉🥰😇 Porterhouse is our favorite!! …
Darcee Richardson
The food was outstanding and the service impeccable. Seafood sensation was so fresh. Prime rib was cooked perfect and melt in your mouth
John Harvey
A truly brilliant pair of perfectly cooked steaks with great sides. In over 20 years of fine dining, Marco Pierre White etc, on the day, this set the benchmark for steak. I had the Porterhouse and my partner the Fillet and both were absolutely on the money! I’ve seen some comments on seasoning, but bear in mind that salt tolerance increases the more you eat it, and so far in Vegas I’ve had a lot of over-seasoned dishes for my palette. You can always add more, but you can’t take it out! Anyway, great service, great food - may even go again before we leave!
Curt Raymond
A fun experience but over-hyped. We had been told this was "The best Steakhouse in Vegas", spoiler, its not the best steakhouse. The steak was good, my potato was overcooked and the asparagus was terrible, like the stuff I throw away when I make asparagus at home.
The atmosphere was nice, staff were kind and relatively attentive. Our waiter told us he was the "new guy" since he'd only worked there 20 something years.
I'll probably never go again but I'm glad I went once.
Dearbhaile66 Mulholland
Excellent servers and fantastic filet. 3 different locals said it was in the top 3 steakhouses in the city and it lived up to the hype. Definitely an "old-style Vegas" vibe but well worth a visit, booking recommended. Everyone in our party enjoyed a lovely meal.
James Holland
The service was outstanding, the wait staff didnt miss a trick. The steaks however, were not up to par. The prime rib was chewy like rubber and almost tasteless, another in my party got the Ribeye, it was inedible. The mushrooms were amazing, flavorful and juicy. The sauted onions were perfection. The cheesecake was an absolute delight. I gave 4 stars only because of the steaks, the rest was great. I little high priced, but the ambiance was lovely.
Erikka M
Hidden gem of Las Vegas. My husband and I have been going here for years. We travel to Vegas about 3 times a year (from Canada) and this is a must for us. The restaurant, vibe, food and staff are outstanding. A classic and elegant, old school Vegas dining experience.
I've read some people say the steaks lack seasoning; its because the steaks are aged and the meat is of such good quality you don't need to add anything. Any good steakhouse showcases the steak and flavor of the meat without masking it with heavy handed seasoning. You enjoy the beef!
Do yourself a favor and go. I bet you'll go again too.
See you in September!!
Bruce Charet
Simply the best...even worth walking through Circus Circus to get to.
Everything is superior.
Food & Service are to be lauded.
Pastor Henry Smith
My husband and I along with close friends had the pleasure of dining at the Circus Circus Steakhouse on February 28, 2020. We were impressed immediately when we were greeted by our waiter Teil. He was very polite and an excellent server. Then my husband went to view the refrigerator with fresh meats and spoke with both chefs. The chefs were very intriguing and explained the process of preparing the meats. We all agreed that the chefs should receive 5+ stars. We all decided on the rib eye steaks; my steak was cooked well done, my husband and girl friend’s medium well, and my girlfriend’s husband medium. I need to tell you that all were prepared perfection. You could savor the beef from the first to the last bite it was superb. The drinks were tasty, the bread and salads were right on. It was a night to remember 😁 We have all agreed to return on our next trip to Las Vegas. What an explosive and filling night @ Circus Circus Steakhouse.
Lisa Bauer
We decided to try The Steakhouse at Circus Circus. We were so wowed by the beautiful ambience and friendly staff. Our Server was so helpful and the rib eye bone in was soo delicious and tender. Best steak ever!

We visited Vegas right before the shutdown, in late February, and here it is June and I'm still thinking about the fantastic prime rib I ate at The Steak House. I'm not sure we will ever stay at Circus Circus again, it isnt quite our speed, but I'm positive we will eat at The Steak House EVERY visit from now on.
Cozy atmosphere, good drink prices, classy without being uppity, in our view a perfect restaurant. Hope it isn't too long before we can revisit!
Michelle G
The waiter and staff was really on top of our party when we went... Brought out a slice of cake for a birthday. Helped sing along... Order was correct. Steak was cooked perfectly. My drinks never went empty...
Mike Fernino
At first you might think, how could anything 5 star be inside of Circus Circus??
I can tell you the worst part of the Steakhouse is having to walk through Circus Circus to get there. This place is an oasis in a desert.
I’ve been going since 2003 and no trip to Vegas will happen without me eating here.
The steaks are aged to perfection and cooked over hickory wood. The service has always been exceptional and atmosphere is authentic steak house. I love this place!
It is my all time #1 favorite steakhouse.

This place is hidden inside Circus Circus. . Walking through the gaming floor you'll get the scent of Lysol and something else you can't quite pin point. As soon as you enter the restaurant everything gets better. The aging room is visible from the lobby has a very vintage feel. There aren't many tables and only the three 2 tops have a good view of the pit style kitchen. I had the aged ribeye w garlic mashed and a side of garlic shrimp. Everything was delicious. Way better than some of the other places. All in I paid 100$ and was very satisfied. Plus it's a real vintage casino and despite smelling like 10,000 mistakes Circus Circus has a vibe that some of the newer joints don't capture.

Nice steak but must be prepared to pay a bomb. Served in very large portions so if you are a person who does not eat much, it would be better if you can share your portion.
The waiter should have advised us on this as we end up having many leftovers as my family cannot consume much and as we are staying at the hotel, there is nothing much we can do with our doggy bag.

Looked for the best steak house in Vegas and this might be it. Lovely decorated interior, friendly and service minded staff. Food was delicious, and equally delicious were the drinks.
A good meal, but at the more expensive end of the price range. On the other hand, you get good value for it and I didn't leave hungry.
Mike Taveirne
despite all the positive reviews, I didn't really find anything exceptional. was ok; stars are primarily for value for the money. service ok, steak just ok, ice cream for bananas foster quite hard and seemed perhaps prepared beforehand for speed or something. value for money just wasn't there at all for me; countless places I could go instead and enjoy more as well as spend less.
Christopher Brown
I enjoyed the best steak I've ever had in my life here, and the atmosphere and history are great. My night at THE Steak House was the highlight of my trip to Vegas. The General Manager Ron and his staff are amazing!

Good food, Good service, Pretzel bread 🔥
A little over priced.

Walked in with no reservation. Got seated at the bar and got to know George the bartender. Great conversation, steaks, and drinks. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Bill Mack
It's a classic Steakhouse from the 80s. If you're from that era you recognize it immediately. Food is cooked right within your visual range. Right in the middle of the restaurant. The servers are authentic. The food is tasty. The simplicity of this Steakhouse makes it very appealing. Step back in time, with your high-waisted pants on have your date tease her hair and enjoy the ride. This is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. There are not many places like it anymore. Think about Tom Jones the performer this would be a place where he would be Lounge Act after a great meal. Play a Tom Jones hit on your 8 track of your car when driving to the restaurant.

I visited The Steakhouse in May of 2019 for my birthday. There was no seating because we had just stopped by to look at the menu. It was interesting, so we (my boyfriend and I) gave it a shot. We were at at the bar top because it was the only seating available. We had terrific service from Leah. We were from out of town and she told us the history and kept it lively considering how old and dark the ambience was. We loved it. We can't wait to come back in May. I had the Wagyu which was cooked to perfection. My boyfriend got the bone in ribeye which he was satisfied with. The drinks were tasty. And I even got a free dessert for my birthday. Great job to everyone who works there.

This is seriously one of my favorite restaurants in the world and it's the definite highlight of a visit to Vegas. You come here for the perfect steaks but you stay for the amazing atmosphere. It's like going back in time, before the modern day stress. Most of the people here have worked at this restaurant for 25-35 years. Owe it to yourself and those you love to come here and enjoy a full evening away from the business of Vegas. Having to wade through the ridiculous hotel that is Circus Circus just makes it even more of a lovely experience. Shout out to Mike who always makes us feel welcome every time we come back. Thank you all! This restaurant should stay frozen in time.

Upon the recommendation of the gentleman in the bathroom of Slots-O-Fun I took my wife and girlfriend to this establishment. Upon entering I was taking to a fitting room and given a brand new custom suit for my dinner. The ladies were given a full make over before being seated. After the gussying up the meal was fabulous. The meat, the oysters, the booze all overflowed out of our mouths. I even thought I reached partial nirvana during the soup course. There was no check presented at the end of the meal, just a name and a gun. I guess I will a made man once I remove Jimothy Werner III from this planet. This place just keeps on giving. And they have free parking!!!!
Rebecca Nichols
Went to dinner here last night. The ambiance was on point. The service was phenomenal. The staff was very nice and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing. It is a hidden gem. Highly recommend if you are in Vegas.

18 years in Las Vegas and I FINALLY made it to THE Steak House at Circus Circus! It will NOT be another 18 years before I make it back! The restaurant itself from the moment you step in the door was GREAT; Classic, Old School, Las Vegas just as was expected, Awesome! The Bar was fantastic; intimate, inviting, great service and well stocked! Our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly and provided excellent suggestions and service! The menu and wine list were both full of amazing choices that made it difficult to decide! Our breads, appetizers (shrimp cocktail), soups (french onion), salads (cesar and both wedges), sides (baked potato and garlic mashed) and the wine (an Oregon Red whose name I don't recall) were all some of the BEST EVER! Surprisingly, the only thing about the entire experience that wasn't absolutely over and above all I could hope for was the Steak. Three of the four in our party with two Rib-eye on the Bone and one New York Strip all commented the steaks were slightly chewy, stringy and under seasoned. We all agreed the Steaks were still much better than any other run of the mill steakhouse, Just not quite up to our expectations. Next time I will follow our fourth person and go with the Filet Mignon.
Still, an AMAZING experience! Can't wait to return!

Steak was great. I got the filet. Not the best I've had so far, but I've eaten at a few top notch steakhouses. Still was very good. Atmosphere is dark and cozy. Very old timey. I enjoyed but I think I would try another steakhouse next time, just for another experience.

Food was amazing and Felix the waiter is the best!!!
Michael Kricsfeld
Great Steak... everything else was fair. I had hear about this being one of the BEST steakhouses in Vegas. I went with two coworkers and while the filet was absolutely delicious, everything else about the restaurant was lackluster.
I ordered the filet, mashed potatoes and salad. I asked if any of the dressings were house-made, and they were not. That was a little disappointing considering the price of the restaurant. The salad came out with the bread service. Very run-of-the mill salad, but one of the surprising twists of the night was the selection of bread. There were pretzel rolls, white bread, and even cinnamon raisin bread. That did not go with our shared seafood appetizer or steak entrees.
When the dinner came, the mesquite grilled steak really was delicious. But the green beans we got appeared to be frozen - they were very limp and waterlogged. I asked for the peppercorn sauce, and it too was not homemade. It had a very thick, gooey consistency, either from a jar or a powder mix that was not diluted enough.
One of the diners I was with ordered the baked potato for a side, and the server asked if we wanted cheese sauce for his potato. Since it is an upscale restaurant, we thought it would be a nice sauce - wrong. It was straight NACHO CHEESE SAUCE, like you would get at a stadium.
With all of that said, the Service was very good. The staff has been there a very long time, and they know what they are doing, know the menu, and know how to cook their steaks.
While the entrees do come with salad, vegetable and side, it is still pricey. For what you'd spend at THE Steakhouse, you can get a much more enjoyable, made-from-scratch dinner at any number of other steakhouses on the strip. (Charlie Palmer's steakhouse has a weekly special with salad, sides, entree, dessert and wine for less... and it's MUCH Better). However, THE Steakhouse does deliver on an old school, traditional "dirty" Vegas vibe. Restaurants aren't carpeted any more for a reason. Go at your own peril, or search for a more modern venue with a better value!

This was the best dining experience ever. We had been watching a YouTube video of a husband and wife who had visited many steak houses around Las Vegas and this one caught our attention. The ambience was wonderful. It was traditional dark setting with wonderful old fashion red booths separated by glass. We first ordered a couple of drinks that were very good. My husband had the Moscow Mule that he raved about. It was made to perfection with good vodka and lime. I ordered a glass of Justin Cabernet. Our waiter Chae started us off with some bread which was fresh and served with soft butter on the side. We then ordered our meals. I ordered the New York steak and my husband ordered the prime rib. He commented that the horseradish served with the prime rib was excellent (fresh). I ordered the peppercorn sauce to go with my steak. The meals were both served with salad which you could upgrade to a spinach salad. I went with a traditional green dinner salad and it had all the goodies (even beets and Julienned carrots). My husband upgraded his salad to the spinach salad with warm dressing. Both meals were served with a good size baked potato with all the goodies on the side along with fresh green beans. The potato and green beans were cooked to perfection. After dinner we both had dessert. I had the bananas Foster and my husband had the tiramisu. Both were generous and excellent. Our server Chae was most attentive making sure our entire experience went well and we were happy. Some might look at the menu and think the entrées to be expensive, but you must take into consideration you are being served a full meal. This is not like other steak houses were you have to order everything as an extra. From start to finish this was the best meal, the best steak house in Las Vegas. We will definitely return.

My wife and I had reservations on 9/1/16 and they were ready for us when we arrived and even sat us early. The service was truly amazing and the food was delicious. I was very impressed with the portions, and the meal was prepared to our expectations. If you ever have the chance to dine here, please take advantage of it. First Class all the way.

The atmosphere was so relaxed we loved it. Hubby and I went Mother’s Day which was also my husband birthday and the food was so delicious. The porterhouse steak was big and juicy and cooked just right...Pricey place so bring extra money but overall a 10
Ed Beall
Had a fantastic steak and really enjoyed the grill in the center. "Ron" found us a table on a busy night and it was much appreciated. If you want a big delicious rib steak, this is a great place. Our waitress Nancy did a really nice job.
Joanna Parker
This place is on our must do list every time we vacation in Vegas. There are a lot of great steakhouses in the area with celebrity chefs names plastered all over, but this little unexpected gem is the best in my opinion. You would never think that something so upscale, quiet, and delicious would be inside Circus Circus but trust me this place is amazing!
The dry aged steaks are on point, with the porterhouse and prime rib personal favorites of mine. They also have the nicest house salad I've ever had and even the bread service is perfect, coming with little stamped medallions of real butter.
Portions are large enough to split ($20 split charge if you want all your own sides which, trust me, you do). Make reservations because this place books up fast!

We came here for dinner on the Friday after Thanksgiving. We have been coming here for more than 10 years. You should try it at least once if you are in town. This is not a cheap restaurant to dine in. It is a very authentic steakhouse. When we started going here for dinner a while back, it has the option for you to share entree for $10 more. Now the price has increased to $17. It is a good deal as each person gets the individual soup or salad. The steaks are priced between $55 and $65. Their kitchen sits in the middle of the restaurant. It is an interesting sight but the restaurant does get smoky at times. I'm a bit disappointed with their wine selection. Service was excellent. For the type of clientele this restaurant is trying to attract, I'm not sure why it is inside the Circus Circus. Make sure you make a reservation if you decide to come here for dinner. Our reservation was at 6:30pm. Another couple with two teenagers tried to get a table without a reservation were turned away as their next available 'slot' is at 8:30pm. I've seen this so many times over the years. Give it a try. It is well worth it if you are looking for good steak.
Chris Callow
Been going here for years, and is generally always been great. The steaks don't disappoint, the black bean soup is great, and the wait staff is on point. Prices are at the higher end, as you would expect. If you have room, the dessert is also good. Just ignore the fact it's in Circus Circus 🎪 …
Paula Carlson
I'd give this place a 1 if it wasn't for the waiter.
If I could review just my waiter, I'd give him a 5! He was awesome! Very knowledgeable about steak. It was my son's 17th birthday and they gave him a huge piece of chocolate cake and sung Happy Birthday!
The food was a 3, it was ok. I live in Iowa and I have family that raises Black Angus beef so maybe I'm spoiled with the quality of beef I usually get. This was nothing special.
The price was OUTLANDISH! For high rollers it's probably not a big deal but for two teachers from Iowa a $650 bill (7 people) literally made me feel sick. $68 for a porterhouse? I looked up the menu later online and those prices were much lower than the menu I was handed. Did I get swindled? I almost left the second I saw the menu but it was already 9:30pm and I was starving and our waiter really was nice.
Our family will joke about this place for the rest of our lives so I guess I will get my money's worth out of that! A few days after the fact, we can laugh about it! I'm not angry, I could have left. We knew before we ordered about what the bill was going to be.
Nils Hallberg
A friend recommend this restaurant and they were right on the money. My Wife ate their on 8/6/14. What an incredible experience we had. Starting with the matra'de Ron to our waiter Mike. The service and food was fantastic.. I highly recommend asking for Mike and ordering the prime rib with a nice bottle of wine(ask mike for his recommendation). Then sit back and enjoy the experience.
Randall Neal
The staff was great. The food was great. I walked pass this place many times. Because of the price of the food. But it was awesome.
Rieco
Nice steak house with great service, but the ribeye was unfortunately not that great.
charles jines
I love this place. The food and the service are second to none. The staff is friendly, professional and the steaks are the best I’ve ever had. When you tell your friends that the best steakhouse in Vegas is at Circus Circus you’re going to get a strange look. Get them to go and they will thank you.
Denki Kaminari
Celebrated a birthday here last week. The food was amazing! Love the extra $20 to split and no arguing over who gets what. Just perfect!
Khya Fellingham
This is a great restaurant! Well worth the visit. We choose it from a list of top 10 steakhouses in Las Vegas and were not disappointed. The decor is amazing (low lighting, bankers lamps, red leather curved booths, view of the chef grilling steaks). The service is impeccable. The house salad dressing is as good as they say, the oysters are fresh and small, the four steaks we ordered as a table were all probably the best we have ever had, and the sides didn't disappoint. Although extremely full we all had dessert (how could you not when they bring over the dessert cart) and my 4 flavoured creme brule was light, fluffy and delicious. Would definitely go back!
Mike Ruffolo
Absolutely, hands down BEST steak house in Vegas. Been going there for 25 years. Make sure you have the shrimp cocktail. I always get the NY Strip medium rare. The best.
Tonight, my wife.left her cell phone and other items. I called and manager, RON said i will bring it to you. He drove all the way to Summerlin to where we were staying at the Red Rock Casino which is a good 30 minute drive. I offer RON some gas money which he refused to take.
This place rocks and Ron is the ultimate dude. Thanks Ron!!!!
Matthew Spector
This place is definitely a hidden gem in of all places, Circus Circus. I had no idea what to expect as we walked through the casino and finally arrived at the entrance. Once you step in, you leave the not so nice world of the Circus Circus and step into a very nice restaurant. Steaks were cooked just as we ordered them and were a decent size for the price. Only thing I found to be a bit odd was the water situation. They came to your table and poured your water out of a plastic bottle! For being such a nice restaurant, they could have at least poured into a pitcher to make it look nicer.
Overall though, definitely would return for some delicious steaks!
Goharik DeGregorio
We usually come here for special occasions, namely our anniversary. Each time has been amazing! The staff never fail to amaze us with exceptional service, and the food is off the charts. This is definitely one of the hidden treasures of Las Vegas.
Ryan Reygers
We flew into Las Vegas last Thursday, got settled in our hotel room and got ready for our anniversary dinner. My wife and I were off to a steak house a friend told me about and said it was one of the best in Vegas. When we got into the cab we asked the driver to take us to Circus Circus and she gave us a funny look for a second and said “going to THE Steak House?” with a slight smile. Puzzled by her question I said yes, and she began normal “cab talk” (I would find out later why she asked me that question).
Our reservations were for 7:30 and it was only 6:30 so we gambled a bit and walked around the hotel. At 7:15 we decided to enter the restaurant and were given a warm welcome by the hostess. The manager walked up, greeted us with a “happy anniversary, please follow me”. The old school classy Vegas vibe of the décor was awesome! Our wait staff was attentive and checked on us just the right amount (not too often, but was there when we needed them). I ordered the filet mignon with a side of mushrooms and I must say that my friend was right…I have eaten at many steak houses in Vegas, but this was by far the best steak (and service) I have received in the 13 years I have been taking our annual trip. The portions were large and we left a bit full, but I just did not want to put down my fork. It is my opinion that THE Steak House is the only reason to go to Circus Circus, but is definitely worth the trip.
Alex Mcgillivray
Not only are the steaks amazing the staff is on point as well. Your glass never got empty and plates were removed at the right time. But it was still an intimate evening for my wife and I. Just the right amount of attention. And if you can the dessert are great.
Pam Jgmail
Our server Roberto was great. Very friendly and helpful, a great credit to the restaurant. The bone in ribeye was utterly sublime, truly one of the best steaks we've ever had anywhere. The petite filet was good but overshadowed by that ribeye! Sides of baked potato, asparagus and mushrooms were good but not great. The plates could be hotter (think Ruth's Chris) to maintain the heat in the food which was kind of lukewarm (the sides only). We'd come here again but as others have said, it is expensive.
J Gardner
My family loved it. Better service by FAR that other hotel steakhouses. The food was great. The price was comparable to others. The steak is awesome. The really took care of my young boys on their order. Great meal.
M Mason
Good service and superb ambiance. Tender excellent steaks but no seasoning at all. The mashed potatoes and asparagus also lacked seasoning. Bread wasn’t fresh. Our waiter was very nice and informative.
Louis Jenkins
Highly recommend!!! Don’t be put off by the hotel itself. Once you enter the restaurant it feels special - it’s brilliantly characteristic with amazing food and great service. The restaurant and tables are classic but sophisticated. We attended as a large group and the waiters were so attentive and we were very well looked after.
Keith Glenn
Seriously one of the best pieces of meat you can get anywhere! Love the atmosphere and the waitstaff has worked there forever. Highly recommend this hidden gem!
Dambro Forealz
All time greatest steakhouse worth every dollar..love love love every bite so good
Anderson Kaiser
It was a surprise to find this restaurant inside of the Circus Circus Hotel. Between the Hotel Tower and the Park, in the restaurant area you will find this Steak House.
The meats are really good, well prepared and with a grate flavor. I like my meats medium-rare and they did it perfect. It was just perfect. I did not find it full, with a plenty of space to choose and to sit. It was fast.
Jess Sanminger
Delicious food and top notch service 👌
Christos
OMG these steaks are so so so good..I brought my parents here with my GF and the loved it and so did we. Best steak house by far! We had the Ribeye and a Prime Rib and they were so flavorful and delicious. We also tried the grilled shrimp at they we're HUMONGOUS and amazing. On the pricey side for sure but great steak isn't cheap. Entree is around $45-$70 depending on the dish.
joe moore
It was in the Hotel and they advertise the $19 Prime Rib Dinner! I don't eat red meat so I figured I'd try their non beef dishes! The first night I had the Pasta Primavera that was good. My friend had the NY Strip and said it was one of the Best Steaks he's ever had! But a couple days...
Tom W
Many nights I've dreamt about the most beautiful porterhouse I've ever had, last Christmas Eve.
Ishuz Entertainment
Wonderful place, great surf& turf, and an excellent server named Richard made this an experience to remember. To brag about the uneaten portion of my steak being breakfast the next morning is enough for me to come back the next time I'm in town.
Lisa Carter
Definitely not what you would expect in Circus Circus, but we went because locals recommended the restaurant. I had the ribeye and it was enormous. The server was very professional if not a bit cheesy. I would have given it 5 stars but the steak was over cooked. They did, however, exchange it immediately for one that was perfect. If you are looking for a great steakhouse, I would recommend this one.
BJ Allan
Why can I not give this restaurant more than 5 stars???? I absolutely love love love LOVE this restaurant!!! If you are EVER in Las Vegas and want an amazing steak dinner, THE Steak House in the Circus Circus is SOOOOOOOOOO amazing!!!! The price of perfection is well worth it!
Mark Bryant
i would always make a bee line to this place and make it my first stop going out on the strip , by far the best rib steak i have ever had. my good friend Walter would drive us down from Seattle and the Steak House is the first place we would hit. there was a young guy waiter that worked there for seemed like 15 years that always gave us great serves , the baked potatoes were gigantic ,and the flavor of the aged meat ,the way its seared, perfection! going down for S E M A show, we will be getting our steak!
Dirk Olson
Onion soup was average. Ribeye was tough. I fixed a ribeye at home from kroger that was better last week.
Thomas Tran
I first came to this Steakhouse back in 1987, when I was still in High school. Over the years as an adult, I have been to countless Steakhouse restaurants, yet this one is still my favorite. Not only the steak is done right, the ambience fits my style, old-school and cool.
Melissa W
Amazing food and service. A true Vegas experience you don't want to miss. So glad we found this place. Looking forward to making it a tradition and visit each trip to Vegas.
Casey Minor
You want a steak, you go back home to Omaha. You want to pay $66.00 for a steak, you go to Vegas! Honestly, the food was good, the drinks were good, and the 4 songs they play repeatedly on the radio were great. It is what it is. It's Vegas, and you're going to get slightly above average food for about twice as much as you'd expect to pay normally. The service was stellar, though.
Steak was cooked medium, as requested. It was a bit chewy and gristly, but otherwise good.
James Braccio
It is was a great experience with such a old school Vegas feel! Looking forward to my next trip. My waiter as well as the maitre d' both have been there for 30+ years! Should tell you a bit about this place!
Courtney Jones
Excellent service and excellent meal. Ron the Manager and all of his staff are the best; make a reservation and find out for yourself.
The food is great.
Nicholas Levo
Wow. The amazing smells you get from walking in this place is a great start to the evening. The excellent service from Chae was above and beyond what we expexted. The food was better than anywhere I've been before. We both got the 12oz filet and it was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place. I come to Vegas 3 times a year anf this is a place I will always visit from now on. Thank you everyone at THE Steak House for providing an exceptional experience for us!
Bright Libra
Absolutely WOW! From the "old school" setting of leather and brocade, through a service staff that is attentive and friendly, through some of the very best steak one could imagine, WOW.
How could a venue like Circus Circus have such a truly wonderful restaurant, is quite a question. The clientele of this restaurant are not representative of the patrons seen on The Midway, or Adventure Dome. Those having dinner here are international travelers who must have had a good travel agent, direct them to the best steaks in town. I must say, it is worth any effort to eat here!
TBWE
Delicious food and excellent service. Highly recommend.
Charles Reed
The meat was well cooked. The sides had nice flavor. Bread was cold. Service from Felix was adequate but not overly great (felt rushed, he tossed the bill on the table at the same time as dessert as if he wanted to get rid of me, made me very uncomfortable).
Caleb Blythe
Incredible steak. Waiter was great
Jeff Maresca
I have been coming here with my family for years to celebrate birthdays. The filets are the best I have had and are always perfectly cooked. Goes best with lobster or crab legs, and not to be missed is their fantastic black bean soup--ask for the recipe ;)
Nancy Hen
I came here right after I ran a marathon. I don’t know if I was just hungry or if the food fell on my plate from kitchens in heaven itself. Absolutely amazing food, service, and clean bathrooms. I will definitely be going there again!
Jayce Toney
The staff was great. The food was average. Its a shame to say that the mashed potatoes were the best part of the meal. The steak was unseasoned and tasted heavily of propane gas. I didn't expect that for the price and age of the beef.
Matthew Rogers
First visit after hearing about this place for a while. Absolutely amazing! Everything we ate tasted great. The service was nice and the atmosphere was cool, but the food really stood out. Definitely eating here again.
Michael Frost
Great 'old school' Vegas style steak house in the middle of I've of the sketchiest hotel casinos in town. Once you get through the cheesy & sleazy Circus Circus & find your way to THE Steak House, you will find the food and service to be top notch & reasonably priced.
Christine Kendall
This is the best kept secret in Las Vegas. It was a wonderful experience with Richard who has been with the restaurant for 35 years. It was definitely pricey but well worth the price. I will definitely be back next time I visit Las Vegas.
GREGORY BEHRENDT
If the food venue was terrific the location in the circus circus complex was disgusting... Parking garage elevators did not work, entrance/lobby to the facility looked like a homeless shelter filled with people waiting for busses.... As good as the food was I'd never go back to the facility.
Joss Delage
The food goes from mediocre (overdressed caesar salad, mousse cake, oversweet tiramisu) to decent (steaks, baked potatoes, cheese cake). I have made better steaks at home in a cast iron skillet. The filet mignon wasn’t that tender. Overall experience was meh, and we paid way too much. I will not return.
Matthew Arquitt
Total hidden gem! Food was delicious, cooked perfectly. Appreciated all the prompt and courteous service from all the staff including our waiter Felix. Will be coming back in the future!
John de St. Germain
Service was pretty poor overall. Steaks were cooked well but not really seasoned at all. A little over charred. Overall, didn't feel like we got our money's worth on our two filets for 65 each.
Chris Garrovillo
This is the best steak you will ever have. When cutting the meat you don't even have to push the knife down, it goes right through the meat without any force. We come to the Steak House evertime we are in town. The employees are the nicest people and they take care of you throughout your dinner. I cannot recommend any other steak house but here.
Brian Peters
Still worth going to, you won’t be disappointed, excellent food and the atmosphere is exactly what you want from a 40 year old vegas steakhouse
Rob Daniel
This is the best steak I've ever eaten. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. I can't wait to go back.
Michael Kabyemela
If you get a chance, request Mike and Javier. They are a dynamic duo that need a show of their own. Hilarious people that just complete the whole dinner experience! My family and I have not laughed like we did at a restaurant in....actually never. This is a prestigious restaurant that has been there for a long time with good people working there. Thank you Mike and Javier for an unforgettable experience!
Tammy BarnesMartin
one of the best meals I've had in years! This house knows it's meats. My ribeye was excellent and cooked to a true rare that is my favorite. My friend had lamb chops that where cooked to perfection. Sides were wonderful and fresh
Batgirl 2183
This place is amazing the stake was probably the best I have ever had! The Staff was 5 stars as well. We had a wonderful time. If you only have one nice dinner in Vegas this should be it.
Javier Armendariz
I was expecting more. I had heard a lot of hype about this place, but it wasn't what I expected. The service was good, the food was good. But that was it. I'm glad it wasn't expensive compared to other steak houses. Don't get me wrong, the food wasn't bad at all, I was just expecting more. It didn't blow me away.
Cassie Roberts
The service was wonderful, Richard was great helping us choose our meal. The food was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant !! Also Thank You to the manager for making my daughter's 21st birthday memorable..
Ben Sheldon
This is a hidden gem. This is much better than Ruth Chris. Much more intiment. Many of the staff been here for decades. Personal service 5 stars. Prices are better than Ruth Chris. Aged beef meat is cooked over mesquite wood. This gets my highest rating.
Carrie Gartin
If I could give this place 20 stars I would. Richard our waiter was so amazing, and the ribeye! Oh my gosh! It ABSOLUTELY is THE Steakhouse. Well worth for the price.
Mike Mulback
Great Place. Better then expected even after all the reviews, best tender steak ever, Huge shrimp, fantastic service and atmosphere. Great wine list. We will dine here again, I cant wait!
Rosexxred
Incredibly good! Our server was extremely sweet and very helpful. Spent like 2 hours there just relaxing with family and having a amazing meal. Thank you! (Visited in October)
Ping Keck
The service was good, steak was nice and juicy, the lobster was good size, but unfortunately it was over cooked and lost the special delicate sea food taste. The salad was standard, the soup was terrible. Bread was excellent.
Julio L.
There's those times where you just need to treat yourself to a great elegant meal, this steakhouse just rises above the rest, the atmosphere is inviting but reserved with a warm feel. We were seated with a great view of our steaks being grilled with natural fire wood, the chefs had a look on their faces like "we know our stuff" they worked tandemly and in good harmony. They first serve you these miniture warm bolillo breads and butter then we proceeded to order an appetizer of mushrooms then a salad for her and a black bean soup for me followed. My wife had one of the most tender well done filet mignon while I devoured a medium-well porter-house, though we couldn't finish our meals we had to order dessert; cheesecake for her and creme brulee for me. It really was a great experience!
Miss Filipina Traveler
My hubby loves his rare steak and i am enjoying my medium well :) As a filipina we normally don't eat the meat like this, But you just have to be open minded and enjoy the food :) Reasonable price! Friendly Staffs, No view

Best steak I have ever had period. Great customer service, staff very helpful food is unbelievable,if you go to vegas you have to go and stop at least once. Prices are fair for what you get, but remember you get what you pay for and this place is worth it.
Keith Wilson
So let me begin by first stating that I am a carnivore through and through. I have eaten meat all over the map. This place is legit. You may not want to stay at the Circus with so much competition around but the steaks here are divine. Are there 6 stars available? A Sin City favorite of The Wilson Motorcar Company.

Excellent service! My water glass was never less than half way down, they kept refilling it with bottled water. Great bread selection. Salad was perfect. Ask for blue cheese dressing.
Memo S.
Always Great Super Service!! Food is always outstanding!! Great steak house. A must stop when in Las Vegas!! We enjoy it every time!!
Daniela Gomez Roy
It’s a little bit old but the food is amazing!!! I loved it
Natural Nate Marvel
Ordered the Filet Mignon with extra Mash potatoes. With warm dinner rolls
Michael Pilgrim
If you know you know. Small, straight forward menu, always good.
Sandy Conroy
OMG! This is my most favorite restaurant in the world. The food is fantastic.
Once you walk through the door you're in another world, the staff are attentive and very welcoming. It's expensive but worth every penny. Enjoy!
Simom Coleman
Ate here tonight. You have to go through the Circus Circus Casino which is something to see. But once you get to the steakhouse its like walking into a time capsule. The steaks were overdone but not too bad. The service was good but the atmosphere is what will get me back.
Ernest Edsel
I don't eat red meat but once every couple of years; but when I do, this is one of the places where the meat is superb quality, perfectly cooked, and the service impeccable. Reminds me of New York's best steakhouses like Sparks and Peter Luger.
Wally Hutton
Hands down one of the best dinners ever. Awesome bone-in ribeye and double lamb chops. The servers are old school and Awesome!
nastypupp
Great food but portions are small. Really friendly server & everyone is nice. Be ready to spend $200+ on dinner for 2. This place is too good to be inside circus circus lol.
Mike Koczor
We came to Vegas for a good friend's party and I stopped here to have dinner with my father and girlfriend...from the salad to the dinner it was AMAZING! best next to wolf lodge in idaho! Will be back for our next visit!
Billy Thurmond
The food was above and beyond excellent. The steak was perfect. The server was beyond the call of duty. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Rosa Rodriguez

Tom Steger
Very nice atmosphere, reminiscent of the classic steak house. Super efficient and friendly staff and the steak was great. Don't fill up on bread, though you will want to!
MAGGIE
the best steakhouse in town. we had our wedding reception there in 1988 and go back every year.
circus circus is not the place it was under bennit and the bean counters have taken over. with that said I am glad they left the steakhouse alone. don't miss this place when going to vegas a place out of the past when vegas dining was great. ron. r. is the ultimate manager
Peter Smith
My wife and I had a great dinner. Very friendly, accommodating staff, great food, and all around great experience. If you are looking for a great meal then you should definitely consider the Circus Circus Steakhouse.

Paul Schkrutz

PItzhel Gibson
A must..... delicious 😋 food... awesome service... reasonable price... love it.. will come back next time ... …
Duncan Hendrick
$40 for a bottle of 14 Hands Merlot? I can get it for $8 at Costco and even that feels like too much. The steaks are good but not sure if they are worth the premium prices they charge.
Jessica Stonesifer
EXCELLENT Steak and service was top notch! Will definitely be back. Moderately priced- maybe $50 a person, but entrees include sides- not like Ruth's Chris where everything is a la carte.

Good food, nice wait staff ask for Richard. Circus Circus is far if you're staying on the south end of the strip (MGM/Mandalay Bay). I'd plan for a 15min drive (traffic) or an 1hr walk.
Ynot
Whoa! One of Las Vega's Best Kept Fine Dining Secrets!! This place has a class and charm that will behoove the younger generation. Here is a Steakhouse that hasn't forgotten what a steakhouse is supposed to be. The room is rich with dark woods, hardwood walls, diamond tufted red leather booths, creating a cozy den-like ambience, romantic candlelit dinners, real gentlemen seating you, bartenders that perfect their craft, cuts over 3 week-real aged beef with their very own meat locker display! The kind of stuff legends are made of... nothing short of a kind of joint the rat pack would have been proud to grace.
Having said the former, "The SteakHouse" at Circus Circus has been voted Best of Las Vegas for over 20 years and was named Zagat's 2011 Top Steak House in Las Vegas and received Zagat's award ratings for the 2014 year, as well as being named top 10 by The LasVegasSun.
Irene Medina

Been here in 1998, 2003, 2008, and since. Common denominator , just the best steak in Vegas in a Rat Pack environment. Sure, enjoy the high end haute cuisine elsewhere but don't miss this.
Victoria Smith
Great food, on the pricey side. 2 people 2 meals, 1 cocktail $185, but everything was delicious & service was superb
