We came here on Mother's Day and were able to get sat after 45min. We ordered some stir fried noodles, fried flounder, dungeness crab and lobster and all were amazing. This is an awesome Chinese restaurant and without having to drive to Chinatown/Spring Mountain.

The food here was amazing!!! I was looking for an authentic asian restaurant to go to as I was visiting from Texas. I read all of the good reviews and decided to go find this place to try it. When we arrived it was packed but I did not care if I had to wait. The food being brought out to customers looked delicious and I could not wait to order. It was my first time going to a cantonese restaurant and It Did NOT Disappoint!! It was delicious and I cannot wait to go back. My husband and I ordered BBq pork with rice, Walnut Shrimp, Coconut buns, Wonton noodle soup, Crispy salty buns, Shrimp rice rolls and hot Jasmine tea. At the end of our meal one of the waitresses brought out a delicious sweet roll and put it on our table to end the meal! It was soooo good. Oh and when we were seated what looked like the manager/ owner dressed in a suit was so nice and showed us how to order.

Wonderful service and great dim sum! I tried chicks feet for the first time and damn if they were tasty. I had seasoned veterans order for me and they did a wonderful job. I enjoyed everything that was served. This noob will go again !

This place has really good dim sum! Three star for food quality and taste. If you want fine dining and friendly service, you may not find it here. I got there around 1:30 p.m. on a Sunday and the place was packed… mostly Chinese Asians. By 2:30 there were people still waiting for table. The prices wasn’t too high but well worth it. The egg custard tarts and shrimp rice roll stands out from other dim sum places. I’d go back if I want good dim sum.

Decided to check this place out about a week ago on the recommendations of Youtubers, Bill and Lisa's Food and Travel. Definitely the best dim sum in town! If you are ever in Vegas this is the best place for Chinese food! Staff was excellent and very accomodating! Check them out!

This is a gem of a restaurant in Vegas. Top notch Cantonese centered cuisine, attentive and friendly service. Every dish was excellent, even a picky carb eater will be getting seconds of their flavorful white rice. We order six dishes shared by six people and had enough for some leftovers. Highly recommend. Super reasonable price and high quality.

This place blew me away. The food was so much better than expected and I loved everything I ordered. I was having an emotional experience trying to keep it together. And on my last bite of fried shrimp ball I was a wreck (so damn good). And the star of the show was our server Jennifer, she was attentive and was super accommodating. Thank God I found this place, I will be coming back here to fill my craving every time.

This is our go-to Chinese food. Very authentic. Great shrimp dishes from dim-sum to soups to dinner dishes. My wife loves the hot pots. I highly recommend. Service is very asian they bring dishes out when ready not all at the same time.

I went to the Rainbow Kitchen on 09/06/2022, I don't know how I missed this place for so long. It really hit the spot on a couple of items. The place is a Dim Sum place for lunch and the Dim Sum we ordered was tasty and with nice presentation. The shrimp rice noodle rolls were cut up so that each piece contained a jumbo shrimp with not a lot of extra rice noodle on each piece. I have eaten a lot of Dim Sum over the last 30 years and I have never had a steamed shrimp rice noodle dish with shrimp as large, we are not talking jumbo prawns but for real they were noticbly larger. I wanted to get a lobster dish, but all they had was 3 to 4lb lobsters and that wasn't what I was looking for, for lunch, so I skipped it with disappointment as I went there for lobster, knowing their price is more reasonable per lb than most places, but if they only have very large ones, they don't meet my needs for lunch with those dishes. Now for the standout item, to soothe my disappointment after not getting my lobster, I ordered a whole Peking Duck. I have eaten plenty of these in both NYC and Jersey, this duck at Rainbow Kitchen was great and by todays standards the price was reasonable. I also give them kudos for serving it with the crepe pancakes rather than the buns, which in my opinion spoils the experience. Overall I will be back looking to indulge in many more items on their menu as they are just the kind of restaurant I have been looking for in Las Vegas.

Formica table tops, beaten up menus and great food at a reasonable price. Mainly a Chinese clientele, which is a good sign, this is a well established restaurant in a small strip plaza. Nothing pretentious and no beer or liquor. Just good food and good service.

Dim sum lunch was pretty mediocre for local standard. Servings are on the small size and not great tasting. We prefer restaurants in the Chinatown areas.

This place was pretty solid. I tried the Dim Sum, the Sweet & Sour Chicken and the won ton noodle soup. The weakest link was the soup. The noodles never really softened up and the flavor was pretty weak. The rest of it was outstanding. The pork buns were fresh, tasty and perfect. The sweet and sour chicken was of excellent quality and I had leftovers that I tossed in my fridge and forgot about for several days and they were still good after being microwaved four days after the fact. The service was fantastic, the restaurant was clean and pleasantly appointed and I feel like there is a lot of stuff on their menu I would like to take out for a spin. I think I was he only non-Asian in there, which I always take as a good indicator of the quality and authenticity of the food. I guess Chinese food can only be so authentic because the version of i that we know in the US is very Americanized but that's what I want. I've heard stories about getting the real deal in China and I'll stick with our version but it seems like the flavors are appreciated by folks from the old country then the food is usually good. I did go for the soup initially but I likely won't order that again but the rest was great.

This place should be 5 stars, but they inherited the reviews from the previous owners. Short of catching a flight to Hong Kong, getting on the Airport Express, getting off at Kowloon, and going to dim sum... this is as good as it gets. This surely beats all the junk off Spring Mountain Rd. So glad to have found this HK treasure in Las Vegas.

Went to dinner on a Friday night. Wasn't packed. The roasted duck, shrimp walnut, seafood congee and fried rice were good. Super traditional Cantonese food. As Cantonese as you get. Will visit again!

Food was great. For any OG Las Vegas residents missing the baked pork chop in chef's special sauce from Diamond, this place's Pork Chops with Peking Sauce are a close second - slightly sweater, slightly more acidic, and sauce a bit thicker compared to the OG. Besides that, the fried rice was good (surprisingly came out last), the crispy noodles was a banger, and there IS dimsum, just that we didn't understand the menu for it so we just asked the server dude if he had what we wanted, he said yeah and asked how many we wanted. oh, they also ran out of gyoza and another vegetable dish lol.

Restaurant not that big (about 100 person capacity) and was about 85% full. Most of their dim sum are ordered on a paper (although they do have some limit food their wait staff will bring out). Overall the food was very good. The rice noodle texture was smooth (a nice touch is they have the sauce in a separate drip cup for you to pour) and the shrimp dumplings (Har Gou) was not minced but who shrimp. There's ample choice of dim sum and skip the buns if you can't decide.

Dine in on New Year day around 6 pm. It's not crowded until 7:30. Hot tea places on top of candle to keep warm. It's great idea for cold weather. Overall foods is not heavier flavors as normally Chinese restaurants which is good for someone want healthier Chinese food. We ordered 4 dishes and 1 soup. Big snow pea leaves: lack of flavors n couldn't taste garlic at all. Egg drop with mince chicken soup: surprised is good and chicken wasn't mince tiny pieces like many places. Plain e-mein: I was disappointed, wasn't cook high temperature, not sure what is right term. Beef with Chinese broccoli: same as e-mein, but beef have good flavor n tender. Deep fried fish bone with stired fried fish with celery: most disappointed dishes. Same with other lack of flavors also fish been frozen too long that taste funny. We all just gets a spoon of it. Service was good, they keep checking on us with water and tea.

Really good food and perfect place to celebrate our Chinese new year dinner. I loved how we can order dim sum and regular dishes. The duck was delicious and so was the crispy pork, salt and pepper pork, shrimp with walnuts, and so much more since we ordered lots of different dishes. We had to use 2 separate tables to abide by social distancing rules so the restaurant split the dishes to make it easier for our group. We will be back for sure and I definitely want to just go for dim sum.

Quite good. My party of three ordered a wide sampling of dishes. Everything was top-tier except for the taro and turnip dumplings. (Turnip was too soft, taro was too hard) Combined with reasonable prices and this is a great lunch spot.

In town for the week, found this place online so I took my brother and sister here to try it. I was expecting a lot from this place and I couldn't be more happier with the out come. It was way above even what I could imagine. Food was to die for, everything was very fresh and cooked to order, so there was a little bit of a wait time, but that said, the staff and the owner made you feel like family. If I could rate this restaurant any better I would, 5 stars doesn't even come close to what this was. In my opinion it was more like a 15 star restaurant. Price is right for the food we had and the service that was given to our group. Thanks so much, we'll be back again for sure.....R

This is for Dim sum. It was very authentic and delicious. A little on the pricey side but that may be because of what we ordered. Lotus wrapped rice and baked buns with roast pork and pine nuts were very good. Steamed rice noodle type dish with roast pork was also very good.

Just left the Rainbow Kitchen. I almost didn't come to the restaurant because of a few reviews, but I am very glad we came in and gave them a chance. We were greeted with happy smiles through their masks. Food is really good if you enjoy the real taste of Asian food. They have fresh live lobster for a decent price. I like to also include our server, Victor. He was very hospitable and gave good quality service. He made sure my family were happy and included a special dessert for my birthday.

Very good tasting Hong Kong Style menu. Second visit, gentleman didn't write order down and I had to return the Fried rice. Their Ginger and Scallop dish was good. Except the large clam shells were, just empty shells. All the other once were regular cherry clams. Made me wonder...but overall, food tasting is good. As we paid and getting ready to stand up and walk out the evening server came on shift from the back room and...I glanced her way and saw her SPIT into the bus tray. GROSS!!! 😷 Regardless, if it is for dirty dishes. I SAW IT. So I'll have to process that for some time now...before returning. Overall, Food taste is good. Very reasonably priced.

Best duck in town! I am a big fan of roasted duck and have tried it at every place that offers it that I have been to and by far this is the best. On point seasoning and crisp skin! Tried a dim sum shrimp dish that you can tell is frozen in most and just steamed but theirs I could taste it was made in house and fresh. Same with their sticky rice bun in banana leaf. Will be back! FYI we came in at 11:15AM, 10 minutes later and the wait was up to 40+ minutes on a Sunday!

I came here because of the good reviews on YouTube. Yes , the food was good but I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the place. Both men and ladies bathrooms were dirty. We requested to sit by the windows and when I look down from my side of the seats, it was so dirty. Lots of dirty napkins, dust and cobwebs. I hope they will address this problems .

My friend highly recommended this restaurant and invited me to have lunch. It was my first visit. The restaurant started a new management early this year. The General Manager, Bill was friendly and knowledgeable about the business. He was passionate to provide best experiences to his customers. The restaurant was clean and the seatings were comfortable. The waitstaffs were attentive and friendly. They had a new chef for dim sum. The quality of their dim sum was better than all I had experienced in both Las Vegas and Los Angeles. They still had a few things to iron out in their new operation. This will be one of my favorites in Las Vegas. I wish them the best.

RK Service & Ambiance: Big round tables with lazy susans to make the sharing of dishes easier for larger parties are plotted through the dining area. There's that casual Chinese restaurant vibe that comes with mom & pop sized restaurants like this. The service was amazing. The host, our servers were always engaging with us throughout our meal. They allowed us to bring in a birthday cake to celebrate my cousin's 21st birthday. They sang with us and helped with the family pictures, fantastic. RK cuisine- I had a blast sampling multiple dishes Creamy seafood tofu soup - The perfect opening soup. This is a savory and delicious soup Duck wings- Served at room temperature, this dish has an adobo type of feel. Which is great if you like adobo like I do. Pan Fried Noodle - A classic Chinese dish done very well. House Special Fried Rice - Fresh and packed with chicken and shrimp Chinese Broccoli - the veggie dish that makes me feel healthy af Spicy Crab - Creative and yum, spicy flavoring and crab go very well together. Flounder- A tasty and social media friendly fish dish. This was very popular with our table Pork Chop- The main protein dish for our table, this was a heavy and delish dish. I'd definitely order again. We were blown away by the amazing staff and the fantastic dishes. When you're fiending for some authentic Chinese dishes with great service, Rainbow Kitchen is a sure bet. Rarely do I ever rate at 5 stars but this place is all that’s been said about it. My only wish is that I could eat more so that I could try more dishes. Don’t take my word for it just give it a try. If Panda Express is your go to Chinese food then perhaps this isn’t for you.

Not only best chinese food but the hospitality is what makes a restaurant.The owner Bill is warm, inviting and always makes the best suggestions on what to order. Our waiter Mike is fast, friendly and can always make you laugh. My favorite dish to order is the roast pig slices, which is a whole roast pig that cooked fresh every Sunday. It really makes me feel like I'm back in New York City in China Town. I honestly have to say that Rainbow Kitchen is the best chinese in Las Vegas. Give them a try I promise you won't be sorry especially since every dish is outstanding.

Usually the further away from Chinatown the more that chinese restaurants are a hit or miss. Rainbow kitchen is definitely a hit. Once you go through the menu you see top notch HK style dishes. The dining area is clean and the service is friendly and personable. The food was authentic as if I was in Chinatown in the Bay Area ,San Gabriel.

The service is authentic Chinese, they want you to order quickly without helping with the menu. Then the yelling in Mandarin is confusing, not sure if they are fighting with each other or joking around. Food is okay. First and last visit.

Mediocre Chinese food. Had the lobster and duck dishes along with some noodles dishes. All were very average flavor and too oily. Will not repeat. Service was not great, i would say below average. I've had a lot of really great Chinese food. I'd recommend the owner Venture out to other places to see what they are doing wrong.

(Translation) The food is not bad, the shrimp dumpling is delicious, recommended. Barbecued pork buns in abalone sauce and salted water horns are also very good👍 Although the carrot quicksand bun is recommended by the chef on the menu, it is very ordinary, without the feeling of quicksand, and it doesn't flow at all. Yangzhou fried rice tastes good, and the price is very good. For the food part, I think it can be given 4 stars or more. As for why I give 3 stars in total? Here you can enjoy the traditional Hong Kong-style tea drinking service, but there is no service, I thought I was in Hong Kong! Except for a gentleman with slender glasses (which may look like presbyopic glasses) with a better service attitude, the rest of the people really made me feel like drinking tea in a traditional Hong Kong style. There is a disinfection fee of $1 for seating, but none of the service staff reminded it! (Original) 食物還不錯，蝦餃很好吃，推薦。 鮑汁叉燒包及鹹水角也很不錯👍 甘筍流沙包雖然在菜單上是主廚推薦，但是很普通，沒有流沙感，一點點流動都沒有。 揚州炒飯味道也好，價錢很不錯。 食物的部分我覺得可以給到4顆星甚至以上。 至於為什麼我總分給3顆星呢？ 這裡可以享受到如傳統港式飲茶的服務，那就是沒什麼服務，我都以為我到香港了呢！除了一個帶著細長眼鏡（看起來可能是老花眼鏡）的先生服務態度比較好，其餘的人真的讓我很有傳統港式飲茶感。 入座有個消毒費$1，但都沒任何一個服務人員提醒呢！
