Service was great. Steak was delicious. Mashed potato’s were amazing. The Viking punch came in a horn! How cool was that? Not a big fan of the Mac & cheese, but you can’t win them all. The decor is fun. And the staff made it fun as well. Definitely will keep this on the list of great Vegas places to stop.

Absolutely amazing experience every visit! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We literally drive from Huntington Beach to come out for the food at this spot! I recommend to drink start with the unique and flavorful house special 👑King's Elixir, which is a well done old fashion, with smoke added not just for effect but taste and ambience. There is no such thing as too many of these and boy will it compliment your meal! The Appetizer tomato 🍅 bacon 🥓 jam is to die for 🥴🤤 and I suggest asking for extra!! Additionally try everything! The portions are manageable so you don't feel engorged and will still want your main course. When it comes to main dish all steaks are phenomenal in both appearance and taste. The peppercorn sauce is a flattering, complimentary sauce but not needed especially of you like the flavor of a properly cooked steak! If you can manage to make it to dessert I would suggest getting the Creme Brule as it is light and a nice pallet cleanser to complete the meal and reset your taste buds. Aside from food the ambiance is worth the visit. The interior is somewhere between old tavern and medieval royalty decorated with helmets and swords which are all available for wearing and photo opportunities.

OMG!!! There are no words to describe the amazing experience we had. The outside of the location doesn't do it justice! As soon as you walked through the doors it's like your taken into a different era. Lighting is dim but enough to see yet romantic or not depends on your evening mood. Candles lit as well with live music, but not so loud you can't have a conversation The service is phenomenal 👏 and the food even better. I had the seared lamb chops 😋 and I wanted to eat the bones they were so full of flavor and juicy not to mention full of meat and about 6 in a plate, along with veggies and small potatoes. All the dishes we ordered everyone was extremely pleased and was the talk of our trip for 2 days..THIS IS A MUST IN VEGAS!!!!

Fantastic restaurant. Michael provided a great and friendly service, also speaking about the background of the chef and chef. Everything we ordered was amazing from starters to desserts. The tomahawk was exquisite. The restaurant setting was cool too and the cutlery/glassware to match. Seriously worth visiting off the regular Vegas strip options.

This place is awesome! The food is excellent but like most places in Vegas be prepared to drop some money. However, Primal is so worth it. The interior has a great medieval vibe that really gives it a unique flair. I had a steak, which was fantastic, and my wife had the lobster. Both of them melted in your mouth. Plus, you're allowed to handle the swords and other pieces of medieval flair for picture opportunities. You can't beat that!

We recently took a trip to Vegas where we were looking for a nice restaurant to get something amazing to eat. Primal Steakhouse did not disappoint. We ordered the Japanese Wagyu which our chef “Jose” prepared for us table side. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff was so incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. They made the whole experience so fun for us. By the time we had left, we had decided to come back a few days later to enjoy it once more before heading back home to Kentucky. We travel a lot and have been to some of the top 5 restaurants in America. Primal Steakhouse had better food, better staff, and an overall better atmosphere than any other restaurant we’ve ever been to. We will be sure to visit every time we’re in Vegas. First time experience for one year anniversary. The staff is great and transition between stations very well. Started the meal off with the bone marrow and a glass of red wine. Ordered the lobster mac and cheese and the Delmonico for dinner to split. It was plenty of food for two. Michael, our server, was very kind throughout the experience. Primal surprised us with a dessert at the end for a congratulations on the anniversary. All-in-all, a great time with amazing food and staff.

This place is absolutely excellent. Brandon (hostess) was so funny and entertaining. Ariana (waitress) was knowledgeable, personable and attentive. We had a great conversation at the end of our meal with her. The food was excellent - we had the 50oz tomahawk, the tomato risotto and the lobster mac. Everything had so much flavor and well prepared. Will for sure come back when we are in town again!!!

The interior is phenomenal! It has a medieval theme to it with real armor, swords, and candle-lit walkways. However, don't let the interior decorations fool you, the star attraction is most definitely their food. Yes, it is on the pricey side but it was the most delicious steak I've had. Our table ordered the 50 oz tomahawk steak, Delmonico, filet mignon, a burger, and lobster Mac. Everything was the best in class. I don't know how they cooked their meats but everything was buttery tender, cooked to perfection. Don't skip on their desserts, especially their cheesecake. The waitstaff and manager kept checking up on us. Drinks never hit empty and they made excellent recommendations for the side dishes. I thought it would be a one and done visit with the price, but I'll be saving to get back. World class meal despite the neighborhood appearance.

This place is amazing! You won’t find the atmosphere and service like this anywhere else. The food was absolutely delicious and well worth the quick Uber ride over if you are staying on the Strip. I recommend getting a reservation but this place is way better than the steakhouses you find over on the Strip. I highly recommend you adding Primal to your list of places to eat!

By reservation. Greeted. Ordered wine and dinner. Prices were reasonable for a mouthwatering satisfying dinner. Definitely would return and I do recommend! One small negative. The waiter. Gratuity is automatically added to the bill which gives me the impression the waiter knows and expects whats due him whether excellent service or just par for the course. I was expecting to tip much more than what was required, but happy to know it was already decided and much less than I expected to bless him with for such a par for the course service. Yes, he checked on us, but it wasn't genuine. Each time felt rushed. I felt as if I would be interrupting him. I'd still return for the delicious meal.

Atmosphere = 5. Food = 3.5 - Just OK. Cool photo op with helmets and sword stuff, but if you are expecting high quality dish experience, this isn't it, IMHO. Yeah, you can order a 28oz or 40oz large piece of a lesser cut. And if that is your thing or if you want to share it - percect for you. If you are looking for that 6-10oz cut of Prime grade +, it is not here. I'd recommend this to people who aren't meat foodies, who want a nice date night or don't mind splashing some cash just to change it up. 'Just have to keep the expectations in-line with what it is. Service was excellent and staff were great.

Had an great experience at this restaurant. Heard about this restaurant from the Las Vegas blogger on Instagram. At the restaurant, I had their Lamb chops. It was really good. The sauce they used on the potatoes, carrots and spinach was very tasty. The chops was cooked really well. For the cost, I think this is a great value dish with great taste. For my birthday, they gave me a Peanut Butter cheesecake. The cheesecake was really good as well. On top that, my server Nicole helped me have a good experience and made sure I didn’t go empty out of soda for a long period of time. The live music had a good selection of songs while I was dining. Overall, it was a good experience.

Very different place for a steakhouse, perfect for Vegas haha. Atmosphere was great and the service was very good. I gave it 4 stars because my food was a little lacking. I had the stew as an appetizer, it is described as having chunks of beef. Didn't have any in my stew. I had the Short Rib and it was very tasty but it was also a little dry.

Very cool atmosphere. We sat at the bar waiting for the rest of our party and had a couple of drinks. The Viking that is served in the horn is a yummy drink, but I would prefer it in a regular glass since it was hard to drink. Dinner was awesome, my steak cooked perfectly and super tender. We had brocollini as a side and it was okay. Dessert options weren't my favorite so I choose creme brulee. It was pretty neat that they lit the desserts on fire.

10/10 highly recommend this spot as a bucket list when visiting Vegas. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and extremely professional. As soon as you walk in you enter another world. The decor is on point and really sets the mood. Ordered the Primal burger which was cooked perfect and the desert was too notch!

Primal Steakhouse was a place that we couldn't wait to try. Let me just say that the food was amazing. We ordered a tomahawk to share and it was more than enough meat for the two of us. The bone marrow was also delicious. The staff was also very friendly and the manager even took the time to come by our table and thank us for coming in. Very few places do that now so I was rather impressed by the extra effort. One thing to note, the reservation needs to be made way in advance. If you plan on coming here be sure to plan ahead of time.

We have started going a little off the beaten path on our Las Vegas trips recently. This place was a good choice. The vibe is nice, servers attentive, aesthetic is pretty, food delicious and reasonably priced especially for Las Vegas. We shared the tomahawk and some sides (potatoes and asparagus), everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly, portions were great for two. It’s worth the Uber from the strip to save a few bucks on a great steak. The deconstructed banana split was very pretty! And the tomato bacon jam served with the bread is phenomenal.

What a great restaurant! Fabulous, friendly staff with great personality and an awesome venue with a medieval vibe. Delicious bison tomahawk accompanied by fingerling potatoes and lemon butter asparagus all cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed a few cocktails which were mixed to perfection. If you're an old-fashioned drinkers make sure you order the Kings Elixor for a wood smoke treat. Michael was our server and he was a pure delight, attentive and very professional. If we were more local we would make this a more regular spot but as we're visiting from the UK we can't, unfortunately. When in Vegas make sure you head to Primal for a dinner experience complete with swords and armour.

Outstanding! The atmosphere and food were top notch, but what made our night extra nice was the bartender (and happened to be our server), Eddie. He was super personable, gave us great honest recommendations, and was just a real, genuine guy to chat with. While this restaurant is off the strip, it is well worth the few minute drive to get there. Next time we are in Vegas, we will be back for sure. Side note- they have real swords and Armour in the back, near the restrooms, and they encourage photo ops lol

By far one of the best restaurants in the world if not the best! Amazing use of decorations, lighting and overall service. Totally would make anyone feel special. Food was perfect without any flaws anywhere. I’m very very picky after attending cooking schools and previous work in restaurants. I rarely post reviews because I always find something I’d change or do differently. I couldn’t find anything wrong. 25% tip and the bill was paid without hesitation. I would pass other places and head to this restaurant if you haven’t already. Waguya tomahawk was to die for! Banana split desert was another world

We went for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! We tried the garlic mashed potatoes, AMAZING! we had the primal stew, I hate carrots and kept looking to see if there were more because they were so good! The shrimp scampi was so tasty! The steak was so mouth watering and flavorful. And the deconstructed banana split was very yummy! We plan on going again the next time we come to Vegas!

Let's start off by saying this is the best steak I've ever had from a steak house. If you are looking for great service, mouth watering entrées, and drinks with a PUNCH; this is the place to be. Appetizer: The Cascade- this salad is a fresh blend of butter lettuce, tomatoes , peppers and carrots drizzled with this amazing sweet pineapple dressing to die for. Main Entree: Delmonico- cooked to perfection with the right amount of flavor. This steak literally melts in your mouth. Drinks: The Vinking Punch- WOW is all I can say, the bartender was very generous with their pour . Service : our waiter Louis : thank you for giving us the best service all around. Very attentive. His recommendations were spot on. Finally the VIBES: I fell in love with the decor and the live music the moment I walked through the door. It was really refreshing to hear the gentlemen sing with his guitar , it literally melted my heart and set the mood for an amazing night. Thank you PRIMAL TEAM! You are thee best in Vegas hands down bravo !

Dinner was fantastic and our server was great! We were there for my wife's 30th birthday and even though we got there 30 minutes before their posted closing time they made us feel special and we never felt rushed to leave. Would definitely eat here again!

I'M IN LOVE! This restaurant has been the highlight of my trip and will be a staple for all future Vegas trips. The abundance of candles, dim light, and fantastic decor really set the mood. The host was incredibly nice and our server was as well. We started with a viking punch (served in the horn) and shrimp scampi. Both were very delicious! We then had some toast and tomato bacon jam. That jam is one of the best things I've ever had. I could eat it with a spoon. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. I'd eat steak all day everyday if I could always have it like Primal's. We also got fingerling potatoes and brussels sprouts. Both were wonderful side choices. NO COMPLAINTS. We walked away very satisfied with our meal. The helmet and sword photo corner is such a nice touch. We had fun dressing up and taking photos. Their location is easy to find and there's plenty of parking. Primal dining is a must!

This place was great. First off i love all the medieval theme but the great customer service and food were the best. We visited several steakhouses while in Vegas and this was our favorite. The manager Giovanni was extremely attentive and nice. They brought us bread and a bacon and tomatoe jam that was fantastic. We ordered a tomohawk steak and was done to perfection. Highly recommend! Our sides were the golden fingerling potatoes and were seasoned really well. Everything was great and thanks for the great service!

If I could give this place 10 stars ⭐️ I would! I read lots of reviews and asked several folks about a top notch steak house in Vegas before we went. We were given some amazing choices. We opted to go to Primal because of the feel I got through the pictures others had posted. We absolutely loved it! I will cherish this dinner memory forever because it was that incredible! The service was top notch. Brianna and Michael were a lot of fun… we really enjoyed them and they sat and visited with us. The owner came over to check on us to ensure we had everything we needed. We had the 40oz Australian Wagyu, Brussels sprouts and asparagus and added a lobster tail. We had the Viking punch which was a top notch drink, simply amazing! We have ate all over the country and out of the country and feel this is the best steakhouse we’ve ever had. We did purchase the most expensive steak and my husband literally cut it with a spoon. I kind of laughed because I would have never believed it had I not seen it for myself. If you want an extraordinary experience with top notch food- I would highly recommend Primal steakhouse. I would give anything to have this place where we live. I also wish I had got some more pictures inside. We’ll be back to Vegas just to visit Primal! Thank you all for the best experience- hands down!!!

Great atmosphere. The staff was 10/10! They also have fun photo ops (not pictured). Yummy drink menu (Alcoholic and non alcoholic). The lobster Mac and cheese was good, I do wish the portion size was more. Pictured is filet mignon which was delicious, I paired mine with the red wine demi. Ordered the asparagus for the side (good but again I wish the portion size was better). Short ribs were good. The food is definitely worth the price!

My husband and I checked out Primal for our 1 yr wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! A client of mine recommended Primal after I explained my displeasure with a Hells Kitchen meal. Primal I would visit every time we are in Vegas! Our server was Tabitha and she was super friendly and attentive. We LOVED the relish with bread and the tomahawk steak was to die for! The decor was super neat and restaurant was clean. I have been recommending this restaurant to like everyone!

Phenomenal service. Parker our server was a delight. The helmets and swords were available to try on and just super fun ambiance! This is great for a date night or an eclectic night out with friends. Onto the food, we had the Tamahawk, scallops, and the gnocchi. Everything was fantastic. The meat was perfectly cooked and well seasoned, the scallops were exceptional, and the gnocchi was awesomely pillow like. As for drinks, we had the King's Elixir, Crown Jewel, and the Eternal Dream. King's Elixer was a smoked drink, but only the smoke aroma, and not the smoke flavor. Crown jewel was phenomenal, it comes in a champagne flute and is delicious. Eternal dream I recommend as a dessert option, takes just like a Creamsicle. Again fantastic. For dessert we had Bananas Foster Cheesecake, that was exceptional! Overall, Primal is an outstanding place to visit off strip in Vegas.

I want to give them 5 stars but it took an hour for our food to be prepared and the restaurant was empty and we asked for the Tomahawk to not be cut yet it was cut. Everything was prepared perfectly, the service was great and the restaurant gave me that Vampire in Brooklyn appeal with the deep dark tones. I loved it!

Best steak I have ever had in my life! You see Angel Lopez cook your steak. Perfectly seasoned each bite was mouth watering flavor. No need for any sauces. I got mine med well and cooked to perfection. I looked for couple days before making reservation different steak house but this was a 10/10! Viking punch smoking and hit the spot. The split was smoking as well. Lighting was nice. Every time im coming to Vegas im coming here. A must visit!

Wow wow wow! What a Beautiful, and unique restaurant. My boyfriend made us reservations here on a sat night, around 9:30pm. It was not super busy. We were greeted by the manager and a very nice young hostess. We were immediately sat down our table was in the middle, but I didnt mind since we were able to see everything, it was a busy spot for the servers walking by from the kitchen. So we saw a lot things being dropped and broke, at one point I got a little nervous, since a server walked right by us with a big pile of empty glasses on a serving tray, practically over our heads. Lol....but it was all good...... Now The food was absolutely amazing! We got the Porterhouse to share and a couple of sides. The asapargus and fingerling potatoes were yummy!! A tiny bit on the salty side. But great flavor. The porter house was soooooo good! Nice and tender and cooked perfectly, I love when steak melts in your mouth.....my favorite thing tho.....Lobster Mac n Cheese....OMG! So Delicious! Sweet tender lobster served on a bed of shell Mac and cheese....yummy! I'll be back just for that! Last buy certainly not least, I was so impressed by how personable all the staff here were. The manager personally served us, our server was very cool! Even the chef came out and made sure we enjoyed our meal! A+ guys! Keep up the great work!

Saw this place recommended on a travel YouTube video and I am so glad they mentioned this place. The ambiance is amazing first of all. When you enter, you are greeted by elaborate candle holders with real, burning candles and the friendly host staff. Our server was excellent and very attentive, she also took care with our food allergies and had some amazing recommendations. The kitchen was also very gracious and accommodating of our food allergies (dairy and gluten) and we are so grateful for that! All in all a wonderful experience and we cannot wait to come back to Las Vegas just to eat at this restaurant. I have included some photos of the salad we ordered and the 28oz porterhouse I ordered. Both were amazing. My spouse ordered the cap steak special wich is not pictured but was also super yummy and oh-so-tender. Don't wait, get reservations to this wonderful establishment, wether you live in Vegas or are just visiting. Definitely worth the small trip off the strip!

Excellent high end steakhouse with a dark medieval vibe. Shared multiple steaks and lamb chops. All very tasty but the lamb was my favorite. Service was excellent. Ignore the strip mall vibe this is a legit fancy restaurant. Cool drinks in goblets and horns. Table side A5 wagyu was a fancy delight.

Good steak house. This is almost an intimate steak house. A bit on the smaller size which is good because they will specialize on you more. The menu is simple and small. Also a good sign. They have a few specialty drinks you can only get here like the Viking punch with comes in a horn. The portion sizes of the drinks are on the smaller size compared to other steakhouses but are still good. The steaks weren’t bad, they were good but I my cut seems to have more fat pieces than usual. Asked for black and blue and the meat came out more like medium rare. I get, it’s a thick piece but when you spend over 100 on a tomahawk l, you would expect to get what you wanted. If you want sauce on the side for your steak, extra. The sides weren’t all that great. Simple starchy sides, and cost extra. Presentation is unique and very crafty, I did like. Like the ceviche is brought out in an ice sculpted bowl. Small portion but it was good. Bottom line: kinda of expensive restaurant where everything costs extra. On average a party of 4 will spend easily over $500 for diner here. Unless you get the chicken and a beer.

Probably gonna make this a regular every time I’m in town. First off the service is incredible … manager filling drinks, waitress genuine and efficient. The pork belly was surprisingly the favorite but the tomahawks are a reason to go. Overall the food is great and service damn near perfect. Pricey but worth it.

With a medieval ambience, great service and good food, it was a pleasurable experience. The Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly but the New York steak was a little under which made it hard to cut and that wooden plate kept moving all over the place. The flavors were great but the brussel sprouts were hard and the garlic mashed needed garlic. However the service was awesome and on point.

The atmosphere is very relaxing, nice ambient lighting. Eclectic chairs and raw edged wood tables. Some had beautiful candelabras with wax dripping Into massive puddles on trays. The mixologist is bar none the best in Las Vegas, our server was attentive and the food was well priced for the experience and the food quality. The same dinner on the strip would have exceeded 500 dollars. The bone marrow was excellent and the beef carpachio was beautifully presented and was amazing . Will definitely be going back!

5 stars are not enough to describe our experiences here- we need more like a 100 stars!! I booked this restaurant after researching the bests steak dinners in Vegas. We were celebrating my husband's 36th birthday on October 15th! Let just say the experience was amazing!!! A huge shout out to Giovanni and the other manager on duty!! They both ensured that we had the best celebratory dinner ever. My husband is hard to please food wise and he has ranked your restaurant as the best restaurant he has ever eaten at in the world which is saying alot because we travel alot. Giovanni made sure he was treated like a king with birthday drinks to birthday desert!!! But it wasn't just the managers, it was our waitress as well. She was simply amazing from bringing drinks to food, we always had something coming!!!! The customer service was so spot on that I was simply shocked. The bartenders were so great at making us whiskey drinks. The drinks were pure magic and so yummy. THE STEAKS WERE TO DIE FOR!!! Lastly, let's talk about that banana split dessert- say what??? Who ever created that dessert knows how to satisfy the soul! The ambience, decor, and characteristics of this restaurant cannot be beat.Overall, there wasn't a single thing about this restaurant to complain about!!!! Were already making plans to fly back to Vegas to bring my daughter to your restaurant for her 15th birthday!!!! We are planning to be out of state regulars! 😊

Made reservations and when we got there we were greeted like we were family. Had a table with candles and rose petals with the best sever. Ordered a glass of wine, then a bottle. Wanted a big steak so no room for apps but that bacon jam....damn delicious! Now the steaks come out with various amazing sauces and one bite we both fell in love with this place! Great service and we got to pick a sword from the wall and duel while we waited for the most amazing desserts. Loved the tableside extras they were unexpected and fun!! We got a personal visit from the head chef to swoon over his skills! Definitely one the best experiences EVER! I will recommend this place to everyone. Thank you!

12/12/22 Had the pleasure of dining at Primal this evening. The atmosphere is fun, a little dark, but intimate. We were greeted promptly by the smiling hostess and sat immediately. Ka Rin was our server, full of energy and enthusiasm. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and made a couple of suggestions for us, which we took. We like to go on an adventure, so we mostly order appetizers and a salad and lobster bisque. I had a special request for an appetizer. Ka Rin asked Chef Angel Lopez if he could accommodate our request. Much to my surprise, Chef Angel came to our table to ask us how we would like the preparation. I replied that I would like to leave it up to him to surprise us. Chef Angel did his magic and came out with a perfect dish. It was even better than I could imagine. We ordered the Iberico ham, black ceviche, shrimp scampi, Caesar salad, and lobster bisque. Everything was delicious. After we finished eating, Chef Angel came to our table, and we talked for 5 minutes or so. I am a former chef, so we got to talk about food—what a pleasant experience. A special thank you to Ka Rin for her canter and attention to detail. 10-star service and food.

True gem!! We were so pleasantly surprised! Went to Vegas to celebrate sisters 50th, group of 10. Perfect semi-private room with beautiful candles, wood, and drapery. Food…outstanding! Everyone ordered different items and all were outstanding! Short ribs are mouthwatering, filet with bone marrow sauce…OMG! Shrimp scampi app…oh Lordy!! Nicole was our server and awesome! So I planned on going here after catching it on a random youtube video. Needless to say I was not disappointed. The staff is superb from top to bottom. The chef's even accommodated my picky self with the lamb and all the food was better then expected. I ended up going back again on my last night in Vegas to cap a perfect vacation. I want to leave a special shoutout to the GM I think his name was Giovanni(Chad correct me if I'm wrong lol) and the Bartender with the Naruto tattoo. I forgot to get his name, but these 2 made both my dinners/drinks on point and great work at the pass by the chefs. I will 100% be coming back here when I come back to Vegas.

Michael took good care of us. He told us he's proud of his profession and loves to serve people. And it showed! It was a dinner that I'll remember. I bumped into to my husband's freshly poured double Vodka Tonic, broke the glass and a sticky mess of liquid, lime and ice cubes flooded my lap, chair and floor. Michael acted as if it didn't happen. A replacement arrived in a flash. This is a great way to get away from the strip and dine in elegant Medieval ambience. Vacationers: Uber is the best, most economical mode of travel to get you there.

What a hidden gem ❤ visited Primal for the first time for our anniversary & everyone made us feel welcome & appreciated. Our waiters Nicole & Dominic were attentive & personable. We got the cocktail that comes in the horn -- was so delicious & fruity! We also got the Fairy's kiss non alcoholic beverage but we added a tequila shot 😌🤌 perfection. If you're getting steak, the black peppercorn sauce was super delicious so I'd recommend that one! Loaded baked potato was LOADED! Just as it should be. The smoke & ice theme was super fun & very instagrammable. We did get the black cevice and loved it, though I would have liked to know what was in it, as that wasn't listed on the menu. I think it was squid 🐙 but either way it was delicious. :) It's not in the best neighborhood in Vegas, so we SHOULD support this place to have nicer establishments that turn that part of town around!!

My experience at Primal was rocky, to say the least. The atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing. The medieval type theme could have been cheesy but it was actually really well done and balanced a cool vibe with a high end restaurant. After being seated my party was quickly greeted by the manager. He was very friendly and helpful. After he left, service from our waitress Arianna was very slow and we had to wait a while to put in our food order. After a time we received our appetizers and drinks. We ordered bone marrow, shrimp scampi, and one person had the wedge salad. The appetizers and drinks, especially the Viking punch, were outstanding. After the appetizers, our waitress did not check on us once. My reservation was at 7:30pm (we were about 5 mins late and called Primal to inform them) and by 9:00 we still had not received our main courses. There were multiple tables that came in after us that had already received their food. My husband got up to speak with the bartender because Arianna was nowhere to be found. He assured us our food would be out shortly. Another 10 or so minutes went by and our food finally arrived. A new waiter came over and said that our order got put behind some of the “bigger tables”. We were told about these bigger tables multiple times. We were a party of 5 and most of the parties present were less. Even if there were multiple big tables, it’s unacceptable that my party wasn’t treated with the same respect. However, the food was amazing. I had the Delmonico steak. It was the best steak I’ve ever had. My husband ordered the 50 oz Tomahawk and the rest of party ordered steaks as well. We were all in agreement that the food was fantastic. The manager came over after we received our food to apologize. He also took our first round of drinks off the bill and said he would send out a few deserts. He tried to make things right, which I appreciated. But by this point I was so upset that it didn’t really matter. A few of the group had to leave early because of prior engagements that we thought we could attend but since the service was so slow part of our party missed it. I was also so looking forward to the poached pear and crème brûlée but we received the lava cake and another chocolate desert. My husband and I planned our trip to Las Vegas for MONTHS and this restaurant was supposed to be one of the highlights. We looked at the menu over the months because we were so excited. We read reviews and watched YouTube videos. Before the manager took drinks off our bill, it would have been over $600 before the tip. I begrudgingly still tipped 15%. My husband’s steak alone was $155. This was the nicest restaurant I’ve ever been too, but besides the manager, it was one of the worst service experiences ever. I’ve had better customer service at McDonalds. I’m still just so disappointed. I’m not sure if I would recommend Primal.

The ambiance is midevil and romantic. Brandon, the GM was very welcoming and made our dinner experience fun. This was the restaurant we chose on our last day in Las Vegas. The reviews were good, so I went there even though it was 15 minutes by car. The taste, the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff are all perfect. I recommend it. A place I want to go back to.

Primal is has a Medieval vibe and it’s very dark inside! In general the vibe is interesting if you are into eating in dark and imagine yourself in knights period! We had booked a table for two but when we got there, our table wasn’t ready! This place asks for a credit card for reservations and if you are no show the credit card will be charged. Having said that, I would have expected that at least our table to be ready. Our table at the end was ok! Just behind the bar stools! If it was a busy night, that wasn’t going to be a pleasant experience sitting there but it was not crowded so ok! Our waiter was a lovely old man, taking the time answering our questions. That was the best part of experience. As for the food, we ordered Bone Marrow for appetizer which was awesome! Fillet Mignon - it was ok but too dry for our liking. If you are not a regular steak enthusiast you should be ok. Chilean Sea Bass - this one was the least favorable, the fish was kind of undercooked and the not so tasty. Crème Brûlée - ok again but the presentation was awesome! In general considering the price I would give this place 3/3.5 of 5.

I highly recommend this for a date night ESPECIALLY if you both have watched Game of Thrones. I went alone because I wanted something new so I sat at the bar and for the first time ever there were really comfortable chairs at the bar. The decor is amazing! The drinks are strong - I recommend the Vikings Punch for your Instagram videos and the Medieval Sangria for your taste buds. I got the Lobster quinoa and normally I eat A LOT but this was very filling and the sauce was out of this world! The staff was friendly and attentive -even the manager. Here for our 1st anniversary. The steaks were great! Atmosphere was pretty cool for something different. Something that I didn’t see or know that there is an automatic 18% gratuity added to the bill. I normally tip very well when I have great food and service but to be already to my bill for a party of 2 was a bit unexpected and did not care for. I can understand if we were a large party but we were not.

Awesome restaurant. Very hospitable people with unique and cool decor inside. Shrimp scampi, the Delmonico Steak, and banana split dessert were the high lights. Respectful criticism would be that the food beat our drinks to the table which is an opportunity. We would have liked to see the seafood (scallops, lobster tail) cooked longer however the choice in product quality still allowed the seafood to be tender and enjoyable. Overall we had a very good time and would definitely return.

My friend and I had an amazing experience at Primal! The drinks were different than anything I’ve had before, and complimented the food so well. The steak was definitely the best I’ve ever eaten. My friend’s lamb was incredible. I recommend adding the fingerling potatoes to anything because they are so delicious! The creme brûlée was just as amazing as everything else we had! The atmosphere and the service topped off the experience. Brandon was friendly and so funny, he made our experience so nice. I would recommend Primal to anyone who wants to have a memorable experience as well as some of the best food you’ll ever eat.

I had the short rib, and a friend had the filet. Both were amazing. Creme brulee for the dessert finished it off. The staff were great and very attentive. The atmosphere is dark and moody. I will warn you that they use LED flickering lights to mimic candles as the only source of light in many of the rooms. They are set to an aggressive level of flickering, so after about an hour of that, my eyes were tired and done. If you are sensitive to that sort of thing, you may want to ask for a seat near the kitchen, or somewhere else that uses a more steady light so your eyes can rest. For the restaurant, consider the LEDs as an accent, but add more steady lighting as the main.

We were sat and no one came to take our drink order for about 10-15 min. The manager came and we told him we were there for our 3rd anniversary. He said they will do something nice for us. Our waiter hardly showed interest at all in out table. The manager handled most of our drink order, our food order and our bill. The food was pretty darn good. The 50 Oz. Tomahawk was slightly under cooked. The King Crab was really good. For spending nearly $400 I feel like the service needs to step it up a whole bunch. We also never got anything special for our anniversary. 5 stars for food, 2 stars for service. Chad, I do not live in the Las Vegas area. Maybe next time.

My wife and I had dinner here on 12/4/2022, Corinne was our server and she recommended the 28 oz. Delmonico. The steak was hands down the best we have ever had anywhere. The sangria was refreshing and the Perroni beer was cold and perfect. The manager also visited our table several times to make sure everything was to our satisfaction and recommended the cheesecake for dessert. It was excellent just like everything else. If you really want an excellent dinner you should try Primal.

My friend Adam recommended I try this steakhouse, and I must say it was the best steak I've had in years. A large porterhouse cooked to perfection and seasoned with just a hint of salt and pepper. It was so hood I didn't even try the house made steak sauce until it was almost gone. The care for details from the custom plates to the presentation of the appetizers was amazing. The drink menu also had much to offer outside of what you would normally find in a restraunt bar. Overall will definitely be going back, and have made reservations accordingly. Worth every penny and then some.

The ambiance of this place is very cool. Think gothic meets medieval with a modern flare. Our server (Derek) was super friendly and his suggestion for the short rib entree was SPOT on. The portions are quite large so we were far too full to try the deserts (which sounded delicious). The manager visited every table asking how everything was, and as we left, the owner (assuming based on his license plate) pulled up and asked us how we liked our meal/service as well. Overall great night out off the strip for something a little weird and dark (just like us).

Didn’t what what to expect when we started driving there! All I knew is that I wanted steak, and I wanted a good one… so I slapped in steak house on maps and looked for the highest rated one. I wasn’t disappointed at all. Angel was the one to help me and my other half. He was phenomenal; he showed and explained to me what the restaurant was all about, the decorations, and how everything was antique! Crazy inspiration for a future home/man cave style type vibe. The way they serve their drinks and plates are exquisite as well! The horn you drink out of, the goblet/chalice, and much more! Angel, we appreciate and loved the experience and I can’t wait for the Temecula location to open up! Thank you Angel! Oh and I’m a HUGE fan of the Greek Spartans, so when I saw the shield, sword, AND helmet… I geeked out.

My wife and I recently went to Vegas as part of our 20th anniversary celebration. While looking at restaurant options, I came across Primal Steakhouse. I made a reservation there for our first night in town. Our server that night, Derek, was absolutely fantastic! He carefully answered all of our questions. Our meals were perfect! Our steaks were some of the best we’ve ever had. One of the managers, I think his name was Giovanni, came over and introduced himself to us and made sure that our experience was good. I noticed he went around to most tables to do the same. I thought it was great that he took the time to do that. He even brought us out a couple of red roses. Thank you Primal Steakhouse, and especially to our server Derek, who took care of us in every possible way. We cannot wait to come back next year!

This place was rated one of the highest in Vegas for steaks and atmosphere, coming from Texas that had to mean something, and come to find out that was for a reason. The GM Brandon and all of the staff were extremely hospitable and fun. It was one of the best experiences I have had from the perfectly cooked porterhouse to the decor and theme of the restaurant. Next time I am in Las Vegas I will definitely go to Primal Steakhouse. A truly amazing and unique meal and experience.

Came here for a date night. The atmosphere was really cool and had a great ambience. However, they were short staffed that night and we had a mighty long wait. It twas my birthday and my loyal mates and I decided on ye fine tavern. Our serving gents Michael and Derreck, made us feel like we had been part of this fine Order of Knights since before we made our reservation. The blokes at the cooking fire fed us a cornucopia of divine offerings with our favorites being the bone marrow appetizer, the short ribs entree, the creamy tomato risotto side, and the fingerling potatoes side. The flair of fire and ice used in presentation made the evening memorable. The ambience made us instantly relaxed and nostalgic for our own viking longhouse. Cousin Birthday celebration 4 of us had dinner and cocktails and birthday cake. The atmosphere, drinks, food, service and staff was great. However the manager Brandon need to learn how to treat all people with respect. He went to every table in the room and spoke to everyone except ours, he kept walking back and forth past our table for 2 hours never spoke to us. He really needs to sharpen up his management skills. Everything was amazing! I mean EVERYTHING! From the second we came in, the service was ready to go and drinks ready to go. Every time our water was low, it was refilled right away. The food that we ordered was all on point! But honestly, one of the best apps I've ever tasted was the bacon jam with brioche bread. Had to ask for a second round, it was so delicious and very unique. The ambiance of the place was pretty awesome too. Very medieval and cool design. Rustic yet clean. Will def be back! A+++

We have eaten at a lot of steakhouses but this by far is better than all the steakhouses in the casinos. Located next to a mall, don’t let the place fool you. Once you go inside the fun begins decorated like your in a Vikings home, we loved it. Brianna our server was the best, she was 👏 awesome her recommendations were spot on. Customer service impeccable. Parker needs a raise. The guy told us up front he was not our server but got us apps and a bottle of wine. We would have been more than taken care of with him serving us the entire time. This place is off the strip about 10 minutes but well worth the short trip to eat here. Restaurant has a Viking theme going on and really nice decor. The scallops were amazing and so was the Delimonco Ribeye. Would definitely recommend if you are in Vegas and want to avoid the long wait on the strip. I still recommend you make reservations before your trip. The bartender went out of his way to take care of us and even called several liquor stores to fine us a special bottle we wanted to take home. He even had them hold the bottles before we arrived. THAT IS GREAT SERVICE!

Our party was really impressed with this place. They give you Texas toast style bread for the table with a bacon jam spread. I know that sounds so weird, but it was so good! We ordered the ground rib eye burger, which was packed with flavor; the filet mignon cooked perfectly with an amazing Hollandaise sauce; and the shrimp scampi, which was a pretty good portion but lacked flavor. The drinks are also amazing. We came to celebrate a friend's bday and would gladly come back next time we are here.

On a whim I changed my birthday reservation from Prime Steakhouse at the Bellagio to Primal Steakhouse to give it a shot. It did not disappoint. Even before we had arrived, the staff were willing to work with us as we were going to arrive late. Additionally, we throw a curve ball at them and wanted to combine a separate reservation with my existing one. They were more than happy to accommodate our group of 10 (we had originally booked for 6). Upon arriving we were sat down immediately at the large banquet sized table in the back of the restaurant (usually used for private events). Everything from the atmosphere to the lighting allowed for a personal and enjoyable experience throughout our 2 hour visit. We had drinks, appetizers, various entrees, and even a surprise creme brulee which was flambéed as my birthday dessert. Everything was amazing and on point! Thank you Nicole and everyone else at Primal for making my birthday dinner an amazing one! I look forward to visiting the next time that I'm in Vegas.

It was fine, nothing spectacular but not disappointing. The bread was delicious, but they only brought out 2 pieces. They should really focus an areas of excellence and bring a whole basket, bc the way they do it now.. is to take a good thing and make it disappointing.

Where do I begin? Saturday evening, just finished my three twelve hour shifts, decided that we needed to unwind and enjoy a good meal and drink. Little did we know that this JEWEL was right under our noses. Literally 0.6 miles from work. Located at The Boulevard mall, it was a pleasant surprise, that we would never regret! It instantly became our to-go place after work! By the way, this place is perfect for dates and hosting large groups too.. The ambience is dark and romantic with lots of cool lightning and real candles.. The vibe is versatile regardless of the occasion. We were greeted by the beautiful and friendly host, then our awesome waiter Chad! He was really attentive, funny and just so outgoing! Checked on us frequently, yet not too much.. Now for the food! I ordered the Primal burger which was HEAVEN on a bun! It's a Ribeye burger 😳🤤🤤🤤 Honestly, it was hands down the BEST thing I've ever eaten!!! Soooo MOIST AND JUICY!! I'm getting chills just thinking about that entire experience! My taste buds and body was going through all soughts of desirable sensations 😂🤣🤷 My friend ordered the Filet mignon ,and it was also amazing, but she tried my burger, and immediately was lost for words! She was like dam! I should have ordered that too! That just means that we HAVE to come back!! I already told half of coworkers at the hospital and my friend's! They know I'm a foodie, so they believe and trust my judgement all the time! We also ordered the shrimp scampi: these were five jumbo shrimp served with a toasted buttered sourdough bread. They also have a complimentary tomato and bacon based jam that's also served with the buttered toasted sourdough bread 🤤🤤🤤. For dessert, we had the chocolate lava cake, this is served with a house made vanilla ice cream!!( Made fresh, per order, so you have to wait, worth every calorie 🙃) Absolutely refreshing, yet not too sweet! We both inhaled every bit of it!! 🐷 Then there's the dranks : I forgot the names of the drinks, but just ask for the top two popular drinks! One is served in a horn, yes, I said horn! There's smoke coming from the horn where the ice sits. Then the other drink is served in a smoky tray. That drink was a little bit stronger than the "horn drink" The drink that's served in a horn is more vodka based, and is a creeper.. The smoky drink hits you instantly, causing sudden hairs on you chest! 😂😳 Writing about the smoke isn't as fun as the experience. I love having food experiences, and just experiences in general! And this restaurant hands down was definitely an Unforgettable experience!! Our attentive waiter Chad informed us that they also served Tomahawk steak. They're different sizes, and it's served sliced. Perfect for 2 and more people. I'll definitely be back to try that! While we were about to leave, we were looking for Chad to thank him again for being so awesome and ran into the Owner/ Executive Chef Mr Angel Lopez who gave us a mini tour of the restaurant and showed us his sword collection. That was Soo COOL! By the way the theme of the restaurant leans towards the Game of Thrones concept ( Never watched it, but my friend said that) Mr Lopez was very passionate about what he does, I saw right away why the food was made with LOVE! He gave us a brief history of his journey, no wonder the food was PHENOMENAL!!! They opened last year October, and business has been picking up daily.. FYI: There's 18 % Gratuity that's automatically included in the bill.. If you're in the mood to be BLOWN Away and gain a true food EXPERIENCE, Just head to Primal Steakhouse!!! You wouldn't be disappointed!!! As always: I'll be back! In my Arnold Schwarzenegger voice 😌

My son and I are in town for a soccer tournament and decided to go to dinner at a nice steakhouse. The ambience dark, cozy, and candle light lighting. I had the smoke NY steak and my son ordered the short ribs. Both of our plates were well made and flavored to perfection. When I come back to town I will definitely comeback. 4 out of 5 stars because the appetizer was OK.

Ribye was cooked perfectly, Lobster was just right, Bone Marrow was ok, and that chocolate cake was so good but missing something like strawberry or whip cream on top. Better than the rest!! Great experience all the way around. Place looks amazing. The service and execution are on point. Bar service was fast and drinks were well thought out. The Viking punch was like a delicious bubbly orangina soda, the Valkyrie was a seriously strong refreshing take on a Long Island. Had several dishes The waygu tomahawk was well marbled and prepared perfectly. The burger had a great presentation, juicy and again cooked perfectly, Bussels were awesome, but the stand out was the pork!!!! OTHER WORLDLY!!! Next level dish. The fatty richness of the belly with the amazing texture of the chop. I know it’s a steak house and they do it well, but if the chance is there explore the menu. Everything here is done well from the guys dropping the dishes, the attentive but not intrusive servers, up to the general manager. Who was a stand out and treated us wonderfully. As far as value well it’s half the price as the strip steakhouses, and it’s a place where you could spend as much or as little as you please and walk away with a a smile and a full belly.

Primal Steakhouse is definitely a place to relax and enjoy yourself and have a delicious meal with family and friends. Everyone is very welcoming and even met the owner at the bar. Really good guy and forgot to get his information on the viking drinking horns they have which is a must to try. Viking punch! The filet mignon and ribs were melting in my mouth. Love this place! Glad I live in Las Vegas because I'm going to definitely be a regular!

Forget the overpriced steak houses located on the Las Vegas strip and head to Primal, you will not be disappointed and fantastic value for money (16oz Smoked New York steak $51 by far the best priced and tastiest steak in Las Vegas) Absolutely fantastic dinner, we started with a couple of cocktails (Viking brew and Valkyrie) both tasted great and then we moved on to our main meal, the smoked New York steak, Lamb chops and the Filet Minon were amazing and all the sides were cooked and seasoned perfectly (Garlic mashed potatoes, sautéed Brussel sprouts and tender Asparagus). No room was left for desert unfortunately (maybe next time) one of the very kind servers arranged a cab (uber) when none of us had the app or data. A very enjoyable experience.

Wow! What a great experience. Primal is located on the outside of Blvd Mall and don't let the exterior fool you. The interior is welcoming and has that medieval decor. The bar is beautiful. We opt to sit at the bar so we got to watch the bartenders, Bridget and Taylor make some fancy and strong drinks. They were both awesome and very personable. Drinks: Chateau Sourverain Viking Punch made with Bourbon instead of Vodka Old Fashioned Food: Iberico Ham 28oz Delmonico Steak Grilled Halibut Asparagus Lava Cake for dessert The Iberico Ham was devine. Every item on that bread went so well together. The highlight was the Delmonico Steak. One of the most tender and flavorful steak I've ever had. The salmon was just ok. I wouldn't order that again. The chocolate lava cake was the amazingly delicious. If you love chocolate, then you should order this. Overall, the drinks I ordered makes a great picture especially the Viking Punch.

My girlfriend and I got the NY strip. My steak was stupendious; cooked perfectly (medium rare) accented with, I believe, a dried kale that was to DIE for. My girlfriends NY Strip on the other hand is a different story. She also orderd her steak medium rare, however, her's was rare toward the middle of the steak. For steakhouse of this calibur you don't expect this to happen. Understandably, mistakes happen and we asked for it to be cooked a while longer; while the server said no problem and had it taken away to be cooked further we were left to our own capacities. No appology from management, nothing to try to right their "wrong". I wasn't expecting a free meal by ANY means, but some sincerity in an honest mistake that was plain as day would go miles with any patron. Would I go back? Yes. The atmosphere was excellent, albeit, slightly on the loud side. My steak, being the second cheapest on the menu, was devine. And the staff was attentive. Hopefully someone with some pull at the restaurant see's this and makes the appropriate adjustment becuase the potential for them is the sky.

I saw this restaurant on a travel blogger's videos and knew I needed to go. The decor and ambiance was so warm and fitting without being cheesy or gimmicky. The service was outstanding from host to server to manager. The host was so nice and helped us take photos in the photo area! But oh man, the food was out of this world. The tomato bacon jam is probably the greatest thing you'll put in your mouth. I'd skip the mac and cheese (the sauce breaks down after it cools off) and get the broccolini with lemon butter sauce instead. My delmonico steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The bearanaise sauce didn't dazzle me but the creamy horseradish was a great touch. I had a great time here and would definitely come back next time I visit Vegas!

First time here. Singer and guitarist greeted us at the door. Host was very friendly. Its dark with dark decor. We couldn't even scan the QR code bc it was so dark. We ordered rib eye and salmon. Rib eye was melt in your mouth good. The salmon was so so. Ordered the viking punch it came in a animal horn which you can't bring home lol and a glass of scotch. Bill totaled $177. Chase, our waiter was very nice. The host, a tall handsome man, was very personable as we talked and discussed about Game of Thrones. Will go back but ordering more steak next time

Ok do this review is kind of bias. we were expecting something completely different from the ambience I get they were going for a medieval romance but the music didn't have me feeling it. But this is all because we have been to real castles that we have slept in and wined and dined in. Ok so first I must start with the service was absolutely amazing! But the all black outfit with the hats really made them look more jazzy then medieval. The drinks were cool and the Viking punch was good but the forbidden fruit was disgusting. Ok next the creme brulee was good but so thin would have been nice if they put a little more in there. All the food was good but if u like rare steak and I mean like a good blood in it normally order your steak med rare here not rare. It was definitely still raw.

This place is top notch! Had the Salmon dish and OMG! It was delicious, the Iberico ham, sooo good. The service is amazing. The people working there are the friendliest and most welcoming ever. The wagyu was finished table-side (Thanks Angel) on hot rocks which elevated the experience for us. The interior decor was very Game of Thrones-ish which was a nice change. Wife and I chose Primal for our Wedding Anniversary Dinner - Very nice atmosphere for an off-strip location. We had the Tomahawk Steak for two as our dinner choice - garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus for sides. The food was excellently prepared, we were well pleased with the quality of the food - however, the service left much to be desired, the food was delivered in a timely manner however, we had no plates. By the time we got the attention of a server or bus help our food had gotten cold - disappointed...

Ok so ran the gambit here. Appetizers: scallops, shrimp scampi, beef carpaccio (table presentation) steaks filet mignon and the Delmonico. Foie gras topper and bone marrow sauce both add a depth and silkiness to the chosen steak. Sides lobster Mac and risotto. Each and every steak was cooked perfectly to order. The lobster was fresh, sweet, and perfectly cooked. The risotto was a little runny but still good. Mac was a perfect pair to the sweet lobster. The drinks were a great addition to our meal we tried the Targaryen and the Viking. Both were well balanced and not heavy in any direction. We will be back to try more but I would definitely make this a spot to come if you're here in Vegas.

Outstanding food and service experience! I didn’t know what to expect but wow what a fun and delicious experience. The Dining room is perfectly decorated with dripping candles and great unique furnishings and even a picture area that is so fun for friends to snap shots while waiting. Michael my server had amazing attention to every detail from recommendations to food and drink choices. The GM checked in to make sure that I was enjoying my food and was happy with everything something most places rarely do now a days. I had to splurge and had bone marrow appetizer… it was so special and presented well with greens and sour dough crispy bread, my wedge salad was crisp and clean with tender bacon and egg and finally my Delmonico steak was perfectly prepared! They even made me a custom drink for I am very picky and it was perfect. I’ve been to Morton’s, capital grill and many others … Primal team you are now my new favorite!!!!

This is a TOP DOLLAR restaurant set in a medieval atmosphere. Interesting plating. Everything is ala'carte and ok prep. The bone marrow it worth writing home about. Delicious and perfect with a deep, bold roasted beef flavor. But back to the plating.. I ordered the smoked NY steak. This is where this dinner went south.. first.. the "smoked" part was in show only, NOT flavor. This is served on a varnished wood plate with an old burn ring from many uses. Lacking any smoke ring, it also lacked any "smoked" flavor. With the size of the grisel band running throughout the steak I wondered who inspects their beef. I left most of it on my varnished board wondering how much varnish I just consumed.. I picked up the bill for the 4 of us... I still tipped our waitress. She was prompt, courteous and not at all responsible for the nightmare we got served! Not mentioning the halibut.... not worth mentioning... how long was the sitting before it was served? I'm guessing 30 mins...

I was and still am very impressed with the quality of the food here. I was curious to try the Ibérico ham. When they brought it out I instantly regretted it because it was nothing like I pictured in my head. Tomato slices, lettuce of some kind, with a sauce drizzled on the thin sliced ham on a toasted piece of bread. Holy smokes! It was the perfect pairing. I would totally get these every time I go now. Then they brought out the porterhouse. It smelled excellent. A large, thick steak for sure. Whoever is in charge of ordering the steak for this restaurant is certainly the best person for that job. High quality steak for sure! The meat was super tender, full of flavor, and every bite was packed with deliciousness. If you're craving a real steak, in a comfortable and casual spot, then head over to Primal!

This was an amazing experience! Our server, LUIS, was outstanding. The atmosphere was incredible. But the most important part.... The food!!!! Omg, the food was the best. I literally quit eating steak at major chains because I can grill it better at home. But this steakhouse tops even the best steak I've ever cooked. It was insaaaaaane! I waited 5 days debating on leaving this neutral review. First the good. Its a nice place with great atmosphere. I believe it was the owner who came over and introduced himself to us and we had a nice little conversation. (Great guy). Sadly though I honestly feel a little ripped for the food we received and the amount I payed for it. Ordered a 32oz $130 tomahawk steak and almost half of it was fat. Literally big chunks of fat. Also nothing comes with it, alcarte menu which is odd at those prices. I left half of a $130 steak/fat on the board and the waiter never asked how my dinner was. I went there ready to spend a couple hundred dollars on a great dinner and went home and had cereal for a snack.

I walked from Convention Center to Primal, around 35 minutes walk. While approaching the place, I was wondering if I should cancel the reservation, since the surrounding is not good look like Strip. I decide to get a look. After getting into the place, I relieved, foods are good, only Filet mignon a little bit under par. Overall, a restaurant worth to try. Overall our steaks were very good, we ordered the Porterhouse and Delmonico both cooked perfectly and juicy. Staff here is very friendly. The only thing preventing me from giving this place 5 stars was having to wait 30 mins more then our reservation time for our table. Its not a huge deal but when this happens at establishments of this level the host generally comps a drink for the wait. I'd still come back here again.

Basically it is a la carte for the sides or we just shared between 2-3 of us. Wine recommendation was okay, decanter would have been good as the bottle took a while to open. Atmosphere was gorgeous, food was okay and drinks were stiff…which we all enjoyed. Service was a little busy so they missed a couple items but with the portions and sides, it was fine..we were so full!! We will try this again!

Fantastic staff. Angel the chef was amazing he mad a vegan meal for our friend. He did not just throw a bunch of side plates together like most of the other places in the casinos. He actually made a "dish". The staff was great we were not rushed we were encouraged to relax . We even got to play with swords. Can't wait to come back in May with my family and friends.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I will start with the flaw, and it is a very minor flaw, is that this restaurant is off the strip and you will want to be prepared to uber/lyft to get back. TOTALLY WORTH IT! The atmosphere was very unique, I'd say close to Nordic like. Immediately entering, we had kind greetings and an overall satisfying experience with staff. Only one server (Luis) and he was killing it. He was SO BUSY but still managed to meet every need without a single moment of neglect. Drinks were amazing and food was DELICIOUS! I had the short ribs and a kings elixir drink. Their presentation is phenomenal! Highly recommend! My closing remark is that every restaurant needs a Luis in their restaurant. Thank you for making this a great experience!

Primal is off the "strip" which I LOVE! No added exorbitant fees. Primal is actually located in a mall with it's own outside entrance. The owner is graciously welcoming & the staff is ready to make your dining experience lovely. Highly recommend the Bone Marrow appetizer. My husband had the herb crusted lamb chops & I ordered the Smoked Halibut. Both of our dishes were exquisite; our high compliments to the chef & kitchen staff. Luis was our server; he absolutely made our evening beautiful. I recommend requesting his section!!! Came here for a very belated honeymoon visit. First off, the atmosphere, they have candles, suits of armor, helmets, and swords. The food and drinks were great and were an event when brought to the table. Our waitress Nicole was great, helped us pick the right drinks for us and really knew her stuff. When I was meticulously planning where and when I was going to propose to my girlfriend, I found this hidden gem. I subsequently spoke with Jhovanny, the assistant manager, who was able to arrange an incredibly romantic table setting on less than a weeks notice last Saturday evening. When we entered Primal steakhouse, I was impressed with the unique ambiance, and extraordinary staff, which included Brandon, the GM, who can work a room like no other. Shortly after being seated, we were met by our server, Tabithia, who truly made our dining experience magical on all levels! Chef Angel Lopez was kind enough to take time out of his exceptionally busy schedule on an extraordinarily busy Saturday night to congratulate Frances and me on our engagement. As a self proclaimed foodie, Primal Steakhouse is THE most amazing restaurant on the planet! Period. End of story! Next time you are in Las Vegas, and looking for the best steakhouse, look no further!!!

Saw this place online and it looked cool, and figured since we were flying from across the country that we would try this place while we were in town. Food was absolutely delicious, atmosphere was great, and the service was very good. If you want a nicer dinner away from the Vegas Strip, I definitely recommend checking this place out. Had the Delmonico thus time and it was delicious!!!! The pepper corn sauce is good, but if you like little spice I highly recommend the bone marrow!!! Kings Elixir is strong but very good and love how it is served. Vikings Punch is an adventure on its own. Dark Heart is tasty. Is a bit expensive but would highly recommend eating here if you can afford it.

Decided to dine here Wednesday evening based upon the reviews. We learned from our server that this restaurant is just over a year old. It is located in a strip shopping center but don't let that deceive. Once inside you are greeted by a very interesting, and intriguing, yet dark ambiance that ties into the name. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Out wait person, Luis (I believe) was friendly and caring but was dealing with a very large party at the same time. Drinks and our one app were terrific. Generous pours and portions. There were a few mistakes timing our meal and the staff including the manager were extremely polite and apologetic. They brought us a delicious carpaccio on the house to ease the wait. We were having a good time and were appreciated the communication. The meal was delicious. Steak perfectly cooked and very tasty. The Bone Marrow sauce (on the side) was new to us and delightful! They management/ownership obviously cares about the customer and this was appreciated. We would return.

It's ballsy to attempt a meal in Vegas on Memorial weekend - it's stupid to do it without a reservation. But my "ballsiness" falls flat in comparison to this establishment. A late flight, a long drive ahead, a tired kid, and a soldier worth a few Benjamin's in Memorial day.... makes a cocktail of "give 'er hell". The manager may have felt bad for my ragged soul, or my kid who we had prepped endlessly with "best behavior" forceful suggestions...... mercifully found us a table. I wouldn't go as far as to say this is a "kid friendly" eatery. But the eatery is friendly to kids, and she learned a few very important lessons today - 1. Yes, adults do fun things when kids aren't around. 2. Food really is art. I can't thank you enough for that. By the end of the meal, it was as if everything I've tried to teach her about the "experience" of food made sense to her. We discussed texture, balance, temperature, plating, presentation, flavor profile......and dish after dish - they delivered flawless examples. We finished with a liquid flame bathed dessert - and a foodie was born. Wait time is consistent with a popular restaurant. If you find it too long, I suggest you check your premises- it's likely that you have poor company or are poor company. Come alone the next time - or bring an 8 year old - that's the true test

DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER Ok lets be straight....when I was invited to dinner and found out it was A STEAKHOUSE in the boulevard mall (TWO WORDS I NEVER THOUGH WOULD BE IN THE SAME SENTANCE ;-/ ). I figured I was in for a horribly bland meal. Its in a MALL.! WOW WAS I WRONG! Great staff! Amazing attention to detail, cool layout with a photo area with metal helmets and SWORDS. Fun ! Then the food came out! One of the BEST steaks I have ever had (NY) and the Crème Bruelee may be THE BEST i've ever had. Food was good, very very expensive even for Las Vegas. My understanding is that they must have had a massive staffing issue because we waited at least an hour to get any significant food, and had to wait even longer for dessert. You need to up your wages to entice people to actually work here, especially given the fact that this was over $150 a plate for four people. I think you can afford it.

WOW! I've lived in Las Vegas for 3 years and I'm so upset that I am just now discovering this place, even though its been open for a year. Everything was flawless. The GM, Brandon was our server and did a wonderful job - everything was cooked to PERFECTION. The head mixologist, Jovani made incredible, strong drinks, and even gave me something unique when I asked for it, taking the time to come to our table and tell me exactly how he made it. A real craftsman. The owner Chad also came over to thank us for coming, and we had a great conversation about the restaurant (only a year old!!). He seems like a very interesting guy and I'm looking forward to picking his brain the next time we come in. Seriously, A++++++++. Couldn't recommend more.

I went to Primal for the first time ever and I must say I was impressed with the ambiance, music selection, food and drinks. I ordered the Viking Punch and a margarita both were strong and tasty. For my entree I had the Delmonico, macaroni and asparagus. The Delmonico was the perfect size, juicy, and tender. The macaroni was cheesy and flavorful. Lastly, the asparagus melted in my mouth. I didn’t have time for dessert however I plan to go back very soon because I can only imagine it’ll be amazing. Can’t wait to go back. Came here for Valentines Day dinner solo. I usually dine at fancy 5 star restaurants every now and then. I was really craving for a Tomahawk steak and did my research before I chose a restaurant. Primal had great ratings as far as being a new 5 star restaurant. Tomahawk Steaks are pretty pricey so I came well prepared with the funds. I ended up getting the .50oz Tomahawk steak, bone marrow, creamy risotto, brocollini and Quatros Leches for dessert. The Tomahawk steak was cooked right for medium rare. Meat just melted in your mouth. The Bone Marrow was delicious. The first bone had a lot of Marrow. The 2nd Marrow was mostly all bone and I really thought it would be the same serving as the first. I felt a little deceived by that. The creamy risotto was good. The broccolini was over cooked. It didn't have the crunch I was looking for. It was also soaked with the vinegrette dressing they had over it . I'm a cook myself and vegetables shouldn't take that long to cook and be that soggy. The Quatros Leches was a show with the flame but was disappointed with how little cake was in it. I wish I could've got the Lava cake. Cocktails were great. The service was awesome and even got a free shot and cocktail from the bartender. I forgot the bartenders name that night...but hes from Guam and the panty dropper shot should be on the menu. I would rate a 4.5 due to minor things. But the service and free drinks made up for it. I will be back to try other dishes.

Vegas is full of restaurants that have double or triple the price of this place with food half as good. Everything on the menu has great taste, texture, smell /presentation. There wasn’t a single complaint from the food and we had quite a bit from steaks, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, lobster, and salad. Just know that they charge 18% gratuity from the start but again it was well worth it.

From the outside you would never know what an amazing place this is. Located a couple miles east of the strip this gem is part of a small shopping mall. Well, put down the food court pizza and get to this restaurant! The good reviews are what brought us in, and the wonderful experience is why we will be definitely returning. I’ll start with the ambiance. Coming in from that bright desert sunshine, the restaurant was welcoming with its dark, almost medieval-esque decor. Lots of little details that I loved. Super clean too. Service was fantastic. They do automatically include an 18% gratuity and let’s face it, if that’s a problem for you I’m guessing you’re a cheapskate and should probably head into the mall food court. Our sever was excellent and we were happy to tip above the 18%. I know tips are based on service and from what I could see from not only our server but the entire team, they go above and beyond to earn that 18%. Not only was the food remarkably good, the presentation made it even better. Everything was presented beautifully. I have no pictures to share because we devoured it all too quickly. I rarely finish a meal these days (I’m a to-go box queen), but I finished every piece of food, a couple bites of my husband’s steak, and even somehow managed to refrain from licking the plate (that’s called self control people). My recommendations: Appetizer - Beef carpaccio (special) Entrees - Chilean sea bass (special) and the smoked NY Steak Dessert - Deconstructed banana split —- this might have been my favorite. So different, and so freakin’ good. Skip the strip one night and take in this little gem. You won’t regret it.

Food was amazing. Everything else not so much. Wait was long. Service slow. Dessert was not even offered or really an option after waiting 45 minutes for an appetizer that never came. Eventually it came with the meal 1 hour in. The poor waiter was running literally back and forth and several times had to dart through a drape next to me which kept falling back on me. Overall not what I would expect from a steakhouse. The food though was exceptional and saved the rest. If not for the bucket of rags left out, I may have been back.

As a very frequent Vegas visitor, my husband and I are always on the hunt for the best steak and a great experience off the strip. Primal was above and beyond in both categories. I wish I knew our server’s name but he was the bartender as well and his service was phenomenal. Our steaks were mouth watering, melt in your mouth amazing. I had the Delmonico Ribeye and he had the smoked NY strip, which was brought out incased in a beautiful display. After our dinner, he let us sit at the bar while waiting for our Uber after the entire place had closed down and everyone left. I could not recommend the food enough and the service made me have to get on and let the Google know. Will definitely be back!!!

Especially that we are foodies this is the best! The Viking Punch was delicious I had to get another one (my man couldn’t stop drinking mines). We ordered the Delmonico (Rib Eye Steak 28 oz) with a side of Garlic Butter Mash Potatoes and Black Peppercorn Sauce. Seared Lamb Chops with Spinach, Chopped Potatoes, and Carrots. The Tomato Bacon Jam was super good. The food was bound with flavor, juicy, and exquisite!! First time at Primal; wow, every dish was amazing! Stew, carpaccio with sourdough bread, steaks, halibut. . Great drinks. Service was a bit slow, but like everywhere else, short on personnel. Based on the recommendations of several publications that listed Primal as one of (if not the) best steaks in Las Vegas, my wife and I booked a reservation at Primal for our anniversary dinner. I will put the bottom line up front here and then expound as I go: the food is absolutely some of the best we have ever had in Las Vegas, but the atmosphere and experience is just weird (which I admit is very subjective), and the staff was not nearly as knowledgeable as you would expect for a restaurant with their reputation. The lights are set extremely low, and many of the lights are flickering yellow bulbs meant to give the look and feel of candles, but instead appeared to us like cheap Halloween decorations. The décor is a grab bag of late night QVC knife show mixed with local civic theatre haunted house props. The music for the evening was provided by a two piece ensemble that played slow tempo covers of 70s and 80s rock at a slightly distracting volume. Upon being seated, we were asked if we would like anything to drink. When I asked what beers were available, the waitress told me she would have to go get a list. The list had about eight beers listed. As I said before, for an establishment that is trying to break into the higher end of dining experiences, I feel like knowing your beverage list (especially one this short) should be something that's expected. Prior to ordering, we asked if any of their steaks were aged. Again, the waitress did not know and had to ask the kitchen staff. Sadly, the steaks are not aged (which is fine) but this is also something a server should know. My wife and I shared a Caesar salad, and also had an order of their roasted bone marrow. The marrow was perfectly done, and the herbs and chard that were served with it was an excellent addition. For the main course we split the Delmonico (one of my favorite cuts) that was an absolutely perfect medium rare, and was in every way perfectly executed from the seasoning, to the char, to the presentation at the table. For sides we chose the brussels sprouts and lobster mac n' cheese. The sprouts were likewise excellent, and had a hint of sweetness that really complemented the rest of the meal. Following the meal, I had the house special cocktail, the "Viking Punch," that is served in a Viking horn and spewing dry ice vapor. It was certainly an experience, and the drink itself was delicious. In all, this was a very solid meal, and my complaints are all minor. If I had any notes at all for the proprietor, I would say to tone down the gimmicks. Your food speaks for itself, but the current formula you are using for ambiance will probably not help with repeat business. A dark room can be inviting, but only if it is also comforting. Ditch the flickering lights, hide the swords and armor, and just hire a piano player. You don't need the extra fluff when the food is this good. I see the vibe you are trying to cultivate, but at least with our experience, it missed the mark by quite a bit.

This was a huge surprise! A must come! Not just by reviews but by location. We were tired of the restaurant's around us in Henderson and wanted Steak. Googled and we both thought ohh boy let's check out this hole in the wall. Which it wasn't. GPS is wrong. It kept sending us to the back of the mall. Luckily we live here and knew that wasn't possible. The inside was very spacious, clean and the ambience was great! The service was excellent as well. Food is very good and cooked perfectly! It is pricy but we knew that and that's what to expect from a Steak House that is that good! I most definitely will recommend this Steak House to everyone. "Locals, it's facing Maryland Pkwy. Not in the back of the Boulevard Mall." I hope they can somehow fix the GPS issue.

This is a beautiful restaurant. We arrived for my husbands birthday dinner which was noted when making our reservation. The wine and drinks were fantastic, the bread, salad, and delmonico were delicious. The Chilean sea bass was stated as sautéed but I think it was poached. It was fair but the accompanying vegetables were scrumptious. The filet was also fair. Now we are having a good time, however, many birthdays were surrounding us ans birthday cakes and sparklers are whizzing past our table. As we waited for our turn it never happened. Our table didn’t even have a lit candle lol. I asked the server about do they do anything for birthdays as I was a little confused as they greeted my husband upon arrival with a happy birthday. Our server mumbled something that none of us understood the explanation. So we just laughed and made it a joke to ourselves as the sparklers and cakes surrounded our table but avoided ours. Anyway we had a good laugh about it , but we’ll be sure to arrange in detail the next time. I would visit here and not let this story stop you as it’s truly a lovely environment

First of all I have eaten at MANY steakhouses in town from the very high end to local places. I always like to give the non strip ones a try so had high hopes for Primal. When I arrived I saw it is located in Boulevard mall. Not a great start for the price range it is at but quickly moved past that. Staff was very friendly and attentive probably because it was quite empty even at 9pm on a Friday. We ordered the ceviche and the bone marrow. The bone marrow was quite good and they coated it with I believe a bean paste that added another element my wife loved. The ceviche was not as good but average. The best ceviche in town by far is at Shark inside the now closed Palms. We ordered the $148 tomahawk steak for dinner and although was okay it REALLY was not worth $148. This presents a dilemma for this restaurant. They place it in a mall which is normally lower priced food options but then they charge strip pricing for their steaks. This was not a wagyu or Kobe steak it seemed pretty standard quality particularly for what they charge. The sides were average. Overall it wasn't bad but they need to do way better if they are going to charge what they do. Their location also will likely create a lower priced expectation from walk ins. I really wanted to like this place but if wanting a good local steak place I say go for Cleaver or Herbs and Rye (both same owners and similar menus). Both offer far superior steaks and sides for less than Primal charges. Or in slightly higher price ranges there are MANY options. I paid $300 for dinner and drinks with tip. A bit more than say Mortons which is a more solid choice and a bit less than Jean Georges or other strip higher end places. BTW to answer your question Chad I do not work for and have never worked at any food establishment. I amended my review to show how your establishment ranked with others in the same price range slightly above and slightly below.

In all fairness didn't eat very much the rest of my party did but all and all seem to be good. No one had a negative thing to say. For me when you have to rise your voice or been over to hear your people talk that's sitting next to you let alone across from you, for me is a problem. I was there for a business meeting, this is not the place. I look forward to returning and trying the food and not just an appetizer. The atmosphere was different the decor was done well. See you guys again the next time I'm in Vegas.

We went for Mother's Day and had an absolutely phenomenal time. The ambiance is incredible, we loved the candles and medieval-esque decor. Everything we had was on point, from the sourdough bread with tomato bacon jam at the beginning of the meal to our chocolate lava cakes and banana splits at the end. The steaks, a couple delmonicos, two filet mignons, and even the steak on the smoked steak salad were all done to perfection. All of our sides were wonderful, but I honestly think I had the best brussel sprouts of my entire life here. We look forward to coming back soon!

By far one of my favorite stakehouse. Went tonight for my 30th birthday, The environment was awesome absolutely love the dark environment with the flicking of flamelit candles and flame light bulbs with so awesome. Brianna was are server she was super nice and informative about everything. She asked if we where celebrating anything and I told her it was my 30th birthday and she wished me a happy birthday. She asked how i found out about primal stakehouse i told her that when i googled best steakhouse off the Las Vegas strip primal was the number one option when going through the photos that they had in the reviews they looked amazing food on point environment on point swords on the wall awesome. Brianna informed us if we would like to take pictures with the swords and even possibly put on a Viking war helmet after our dinner we could so we totally took her up on it. Brianna even asked us if we would like her to take photos of us and we did she even let us pick out the sword that we could hold. Definitely 100%, would go back it's only a short drive off the strip and totally worth. Primal stakehouse definitely has my business and would go back anytime I come to Vegas

This place is legit. I have honestly avoided it because of the location. And before you give me hate, my childhood home is not 200 yards away. But what steakhouse is in a mall? Nonetheless, I finally went. And I'm disappointed at all the places I went instead. Trust me, go inside, have a whiskey, enjoy a steak. You won't be disappointed. No Passports Needed

Upon entering we were greeted with stellar customer service. They had several reservations but offered us to sit at the bar or at a table. We opted for the table. The menu is posted outside, and there is a QR code that you can load up on your phone to see the menu as well. While deciding what we wanted we were given complimentary sourdough bread with a bacon tomato jam. We opted for 2 Delmonicos one with garlic mashed, the other with loaded baked potato, and of course that signature banana split. OH MY OH MY. They know how to cook a steak. Im a medium rare kinda girl, and I got just what I wanted. It was true perfection. And that banana split had amazing presentation with the dry ice. Interior is very dark and swanky. A mid-evil theme from the wall art, to the tables and chairs. Thus my dark photos. Staff is wearing masks to ensure safety. Everything was very clean. Staff was beyond hospitable and courteous. Our table was continually taken care of. Would def recommend - pricing is a reflection of quality and presentation. Staff is very friendly. I would suggest a reservation though.

Primal is a new restaurant located inside the boulevard Mall, The atmosphere is what looks like a game of thrones ambience, dim lighting, fur rugs. The staff is wonderful, very knowledgeable on their craft cocktails. I highly recommend the bone marrow as an optionm definitely would come back.

It may seem like I stumbled upon a gem inside a mall. I wandered in with my wife late Saturday evening with no intention of dinning in, and was immediately greeted by Tim(Executive-Partner) during there soft opening. Tim offered me & my wife a free desert, we accepted and ended up occupying a table with Briana who served us well. You will notice the ambiance which is surrounded by low-lit candles, an amazing bar, and a perfect touch of live music. Appetizer: "Tiger Shrimp Scampi" -Highly recommend Main Course: Split a "Primal Rib-EyeBurger" w/ Black Sesame Brioche. Bonus Desert: Creme Brulee which was lit on fire at our table-side. As this was unplanned, we will be back with a reservation! The hospitality portrayed by the staff is well beyond exceptional. Thank you Tim, Briana our server, and Chef Angel Lopez.

Visiting friends in LV, and like trying to find good spots OFF the strip. Primal is definitely a very good spot. Themed like something out of GOT, it works as a fun room that doesn't come off kitschy. Covid seating keeps the vibe mellow, but I imagine it has great energy at full capacity. From host to wait staff, service is warm, genuine and thoughtful. All recommendations were spot on. Bone marrow was cooked perfectly (a rare feat IMHO), only wishing there was more of it! Wedge salads were classic and tasty; great ratio of wedge to bacon and dressing ( only miss of the night was no black pepper offered or on the table). Smoked burger and smoked strip were the entrees my friends chose and both were extremely satisfied. I did the delmonico and it was cooked perfectly. Well marbled, juicy and so flavorful; didn't even need the bernaise sauce, but I used it anyways!!! My friends proclaimed they plan to make this a regular stop, and I plan to come on my next trip. Thanks Primal!!

The atmosphere here is like nothing I’ve ever experienced. This has to be the #1 date night spot! It’s (perfectly) dimly lit, and as romantic as you can get. The server Luis is a professional, funny, and recommended items perfectly to what we were looking for. He keyed us in on the Wagyu Tomahawk which was 40oz & even though we split it, we couldn’t finish it. It was cooked perfectly medium rare for us and it made our night. The bone marrow was good but a little smaller than I was hoping. Btw, the bread they serve while you are waiting is drool-worthy. If you come, see if Luis is available because he truly knows the menu including beverages and he’ll get everything to you as fast as he can. If he’s not a manager, he should be or at least be on his way.
